Horrible rewrite idea: turn the portal thing into either a full season or half a season where instead of the original plot, Catra and Adora are put in a situation where they have to work together to fix it that can kickstart Catra's redemption.

Boom. Fun plot and an actually good concept for a redemption arc. Probably would work better than previous ideas.

Give Catra character development, please.

you know, that's an interesting plot but i also can't imagine how it would be if the crew-ra wrote it. we would still get catra abusing and torturing adora throughout that sequence and adora has to do all the work for her. then in the end, they'll find some way to victim blame adora again.

but if it was written by a competent writer who actually cared about their characters and storyline, this would be a really cool plot!
