isak had a lot of things planned for his friday afternoon with no eskild in the flat, things that involved lying on the couch for the rest of the day and watching animal planet, maybe playing fifa after a big unhealthy dinner.

what he did not plan, is the two knocks on the door and the bell coming shortly after interrupting his relaxing day, making isak having to press pause on the game and get out from under his comfy blanket he’s had his legs wrapped up in.

with a sigh he opens the door, his eyes going wide for a second before he gets himself back together. an attractive man showing up at his door is definitely what he wouldve planned if he knew any. he didnt, but it could change right now, so he tries for a smile.

“hi, can i help?”

he tightens his grip on the doorknob when the stranger smiles and clears his throat, “hey, ive got a package? for…. eskild tryggvason?”

isak doesnt let his disappointment show on his face, instead he nods with his lips pressed together and lets himself be mesmerized by a strand of the boy’s hair curling onto his forehead.

the boy hands him the papers and a pen, fingers lightly touching as isak takes them. he signs eskild’s name in an awkward silence, almost messing up his writing, trying to come up with something to say to maybe make him stay a little longer after this.

when he gives them back, he’s given a medium sized box and he’s about to let his desperation take over and tell the guy he’s got a nice face, when he asks isak if he wants to check the box just in case, embarrassed when he realizes he shouldve told him before he gave isak the papers.

with a shrug isak starts opening the box, struggling a little which makes his cheeks heat up, the guy staring at him intensely, and he chuckles nervously a few times but the stranger doesnt look like he’s rushing isak ,and if this is a way to smell his scent that reminds isak of a warm spring day for a couple of more minutes, isak is okay with it.

then isak opens it. its wrapped in a few layers of bubblewrap and thin papers. he rolls them off of it. he almost chokes when he finally sees it.

so. isak is standing in front of a really cute, handsome, tall man, who smells like what isak imagines happiness smells like. he is standing in front of him while holding a pink dildo.

isaks mouth is dropped open and he blinks 5 times a second, he’s got a fist around a pink dildo and there is an attractive man standing in front of him.

who, when isak looks up, is grinning amused at the view and half of isak wants to shut the door in his face, and the other half wants to just wink and tell him its “the perfect size, thanks”. but there is also a part of isak that is just frozen to the spot and its the one towering above the other halves.

the guy clears his throat, “is.. um. is everything alright with the…. product?”

isaks face is burning and he still has a grip around the pink dildo. which actually has a nice shape ,he notes in the back of his mind where he isnt exactly in this state.

“its. u know. its alright i guess” he puts his weight on one leg,trying to be casual. the guy is still sporting a grin and isak is THIS close slapping the dildo in his face to wipe it off. but then he realizes what it would look like and he decides against it.

then, he also realizes the guy probably thinks isak is eskild and this is for him. so he tries to save himself. he throws his hands up, “but i would have to ask eskild, its for him” and he wiggles the dildo. which. jesus. he drops his arm next to his side.

the boy’s grin has disappeared but now theres a slight frown on his face and fuck, he still looks good. “arent u eskild?”

he fights the urge to lift his arm with the dildo, “no, oh my god, im his flatmate”

he doesnt seem to believe isak and isak doesnt know why he wants him to, but he loves embarrassing himself in front of cute guys so why the hell not. “like, if i wanted to get one for myself? definitely not pink. not really my colour”

there’s a smirk now on the guy’s face and he licks his lips, “whats ur colour then?”

isak hesitates, the words “the colour of ur eyes” almost falling out of his mouth but he’s able to stop them just in time, hopeful he can use that line another time. in a different place and situation. one where he doesnt have a fistful of dildo.

“u know. im more of a. skin colour guy”

the boy nods seriously like isak didnt just tell him, a stranger, what colour of dildo he would use. “so, all natural”

isak really just wants the floor to suck him in. “yup. i love natural looking dildos”

there’s a long moment where theyre just staring at each other, isak getting lost in the blue of his eyes, nearly forgetting what is happening, but he’s brought back by the sweetest and loveliest and most angelic sound he’s ever heard. then he pieces it together and realizes its the guy laughing with his eyes squinting, teeth showing.

isak laughs with him, the situtaion absolutely awkward and ridiculous, and he ends up just staring when the boy looks down at the papers in his hands. isak can still see the huge grin on his face and his heart feels so warm and full, he almost has to throw up.

then the boy is turning around, then back, “i never got ur name?”

and isak is a little taken aback, almost forgetting he’s talking to him. then he clears his throat, “isak”

the guy hums, putting on a hat he didnt wear when isak opened the door, and he’s walking further away, “just so i know who im taking out tonight”

which. alright. that definitely counts as a win. isak not having to impress a handsome man before he’s asked out? only having to talk about dildos? kind of worrying now that he thinks about it but. “i never got ur name?”

“even”

isak already loves it. he smirks, “just so i know who im going out with tonight”

even - handsome, very cute, tall even - gives him a thumbs up in response, and isak realizes too late that he’s waving at him with the dildo. he closes the door when even is out of sight and he falls against the door, eyeing the dildo.

long vent

and i want to just hit up thrift stores and the mall but mom was like lets go to x,y,z and then none of that happened either we ended up doing only like the one and then going to walmart like okay omg all i wanted to do was get a dress and buy accessories for it like a birthday outfit!! so im trying on dresses and mom is like NO WHERE to be found but im not wasting my time looking for her and as im trying on the dresses, by myself mom is like hey come look at this chair and i was like,,im changing right now, in the changing room and she was like well you better come look at these chairs before these other cooler girls take it and i was like ?????

the thrift store had a group of customers that were really cute but in that tall thin shops at thrift stores for the Aesthetic kinda way, and also ive told my mom so many times not to call me a girl i love,,,indirectly misgendering on my birthday and also calling total strangers cooler than me it was, a lot, but anyway

i didnt rush out i was taking my time cause the reason i was here was for me like, duh anyway the chair she wanted me to look at was a shoe like it was shaped like a shoe and surprisingly comfy but the pattern wasnt me or anything i owed anymore like if it was something she showed me when i was like 14 i would have loved it, it was surprisly comfy and i was like its nice but it isnt me tho and she was like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ITS TOTALLY YOU and i was like no, it isnt

and while we were in the furnature mom showed me this ottoman and it was like a storage cube that had a flippable tray and was soft to sit on and it was kinda a pale yellow like not what im looking for but i really liked it!!! it was only 14 dollars and i was like yeah sure i like this!!! and then she sat on it and was like in this super childish voice was like I WANT TO GET IT FOR ME and i was just like uhm okay and she repeated herself a bunch and i was just like w/e started to walk away and she was like LET ME PUT IT IN YOUR CART ON TOP OF THE DRESSER and i was like ?????????? no get your own cart

anyway i found a dress that fits more or less!!! it doesnt zip up in the back but i think ill take the zipper off and lace the back with a tie able ribbon!! the arms and the waist fit which is the most important part of the Fat Dress Find, then mom kept coming at me with random stuff she found and half of it was stuff i would have worn as a child and maybe would have considered some of that stuff if i was looking for it specifically but then some stuff she found i was like ye thats cool it fits ill get it and THEN she got her self like SO MUCH STUFF compared to me???????????? and when we checked out she looked like she was attending a funeral it was so uncomfortable

then we went to walmart and she bought stuff for herself and i got tights cause i needed a pair of solid black ones and i was wandering through the accessories and she was just like being a huge brat rushing me and stuff

also we didnt eat anyting like all day until dinner so i was like shaking from that, and the exhustion of being around her for so long
