Yuji Itadori x Reader

FIRST KISS -Super fluffy.

Yuji Itadori was like a breath of fresh air. After dealing with Fushiguro's reserved nature for so long, someone who wasn't particularly interested in being friends with you, it was a refreshing change to have Yuji join Jujutsu High. You and Yuji became fast friends, forming a tight-knit group with Nobara, and reluctantly Fushiguro. Ever since then, the four of you were almost inseparable.

But there was a problem, an indescribable, uncontainable issue that troubled you day in and day out. It was the ever-growing feelings that brewed inside you for Yuji. The way his infectious laughter made your heart skip a beat, his genuine concern for your well-being, the way he seemed to understand you without words; it all made your feelings grow stronger each passing day.

Today was quiet. You were in the middle of the slow season and missions were scarce. None of you were complaining as it meant a lot more free time. For you this meant free time to spend with Yuji.

Seated side by side in your favorite spot by the riverside, just the two of you, you watched the calm waters flow as the warm suns rays bathed you. You couldn’t help but admire how the sun reflected off Yujis eyes, they looked almost golden with the sun shining on them.

“What do I have something in my teeth?” Yujis voice shocked you out of your trance and you quickly realized you were staring.

“N-no sorry.” you said embarrassed, turning away. “I-I just was lost in thought.”

"Oh good that would be embarrassing.” He chuckles briefly pausing before he speaks up again. “Hey. You know you're one of my favorite people, right?"

You look back up at him. He had this big goofy smile on his face. It made his eyes sparkle and you could feel your heartbeat pick up. It was so annoying how that smile always made you melt. “I am?” You finally manage to stutter out.

He took a deep breath, his gaze meeting yours. "I mean... Yeah.” he chuckles “Why do you think I hang out with you much?”

Your heart picked up speed. “I don’t know Yuji.” you admit, a shy smile forming. “I guess I never really noticed you did.”

He laughed, a carefree sound that filled the air. “Yeah, I mean you always make me laugh, you’re smart, you’re probably the nicest girl I know. Plus…you’re so…pretty. Ya know?“

He shrugs nonchalantly, leaning back against a tree as the sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting shadows on his face.

You lowered your gaze, you almost felt…shy. "Yuji, I... I don't know what to say. That's... really sweet of you. You-you think I’m pretty?”

He grinned as he reached out to gently hold your hand. “Yeah I do. I think you’re beautiful.” His eyes met yours. His cheeks were dusted a light shade of pink, but he still had this confident air about him.

You bit your bottom lip. Fighting back the big excitable smile that seemed to be creeping its way into your face. “Thank you Yuji. That-That means a lot. Especially coming from you. I feel the same.” You say bashfully, squeezing his hand.

His smile grew and you felt warmth flush through your chest.Yuji leaned in closer to you, his eyes never leaving yours. “Can I kiss you?” he asked, his voice soft.

You gave him an eager nod. A shiver of anticipation running through your body “Y-yeah I would really like that.” You smile.

Time seemed to slow down as Yuji leaned in even closer closing the space between you. You closed your eyes, your heart beating outside your chest as Yujis lips met yours. They were soft and tender and he kissed you with such delicacy.

I’m the heat on of the moment you grabbed him by the shirt, pulling him in closer and you could feel him smile against your lips as the kiss grew deeper.

As the kiss came to an end your lips parted, still lingering close. You both open your eyes, and you couldn’t help but smile as Yuji looked at you with adoration. You could feel the electricity between you, threatening to shock your system.

Yuji tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “Wow…I’ve been wanting to do that for so long.” He said leaning back again as his carefree laugh filled your senses.

You joined in on his laughter as the tension was replaced with pure comfort. “Well…it was worth the wait.” You say, as you lay your head down on his lap. He laced his fingers in yours again.

He looks down at you and smiles his big goofy smile. “It certainly was. I’m glad I dragged you out here today.”

And as you look back up at him, happy with the way today was unfolding and excited for what was blossoming between you both, you nod. “Me too Yuji…me too.”

previous order: notes for you

you’ve always been with megumi for as long as you can remember. you two met at jujutsu high when gojo had introduced the young megumi to you. the spikey dark haired boy had no interest in you nor did you in him. you both were young and had no idea what curses or cursed energy was so it was mostly training and training.

but due to the low attendance of students enrolled in the academy, there was only you and megumi so ultimately you guys had to rely on each other. but with the news of new first years coming to the academy, you and megumi hadn’t been expecting to build new relationships. nobara kugisaki and itadori yuuji were the new first years and students that you two had to work with.

they were a handful, especially yuuji who became the vessel of the king of curses, ryomen sukuna. the first few weeks of getting to know the new students, it was quite awkward and naturally you and megumi stuck together. that isn’t unnoticed by kugisaki nor yuuji.

“are you and y/n dating?” yuuji had asked one day. the four of you had been training when the two boys had gone to get drinks from the vending machines. megumi glanced at the pink haired boy as he pressed a button on the machine.

“no.” he simply replied. “are you interested in her?”

“no, no.” the former waved his hands. “i just thought so because you guys are always together.”

“we aren’t dating.” you two had said. on the other hand, kugisaki had asked you the same question.

“hah?” she drew out in disbelief. “there is no way. you guys are always together! you don’t even have a speck of feelings for him?” you pick at the edges of your sweater and shrug. did you even think of megumi that way? well, he may appear cold, but he has his ways of concern. like when he catches you before you fell down those stairs one day, or when he brings you your favorite snacks when you’re not well, or taking care of you when you’re ill…

the next thing you knew, your face had flushed and burned red.

“you do!” kugisaki pointed out and laughed out loud. you could die. you hid your head in the palms of your hands and cringed. this can’t be.

“what’s so funny, kugisaki?” yuuji’s voice says. the voice suddenly made you shoot your head up knowing if the pink haired boy was there, then an all too familiar spikey haired boy would be back too. your eyes effortlessly fall onto megumi’s who looks back in concern.

“you’re red. are you alright?” he asked. if your face could feel any hotter, it could.

“she’s fine! she just overdid training!” kugisaki lied through her teeth whilst attempting to hold back her laughter and patting your back.

“well, you can sit this one out until you feel better.” megumi offers and you nod dumbly. you just dug your own grave. with your feelings now surfaced, you can’t do anything except keep your newfound feelings locked tightly in your heart. megumi doesn’t need to know about them. however, that’s beginning to get difficult when you’ve gotten yourself in situations where megumi was always there to catch you before you fell.

“you’ve really been out of it, y/n. are you sure you’re okay?” he had asked. you had just bumped your head against the wall when you found megumi walking down the opposite side of the hall and you had abruptly turned around to avoid him, but ended up hitting your head on the wall.

“i’m fine.” you shake your head, holding the cool ice pack against your head.

“i don’t think so, you’ve been spacing out a lot lately and i’m worried about you.” the words fall so effortlessly from his lips and you clench your eyes closed, feeling how your heart begins to race erratically.

“i’m fine, megumi. really.” you assured, looking up at him and giving him your best grin. megumi does not believe you, but he lets you be and withdraws back in the chair.

“what about you? how are you holding up on training with kugisaki?” you ask this time to settle your nerves. a small groan leaves the other’s lips and you can’t help but chuckle.

“that bad huh?”

“it’s not that.” megumi starts. “she always tries to find a way to ask if you and i are dating. clearly, we’re not but she’s persistent. it’s worse because itadori is also asking.” your heart clenches a little at his words, but you swallow it down to the pit of your stomach. is it really that bad?

“i mean we can just say that we are dating, but we actually aren’t. like you know, fake dating. kind of?” the boy looks at you with a small tilt of his head.

“why?” you begin to get anxious and clear your throat, looking behind him to prepare what to say next.

“w-well it’s going to get awkward between us if they keep asking, right? i mean they’ll probably stop pestering us?” you reason hopefully. megumi is silent and you’re beginning to regret your offer.

“i-i mean it’s only a thought, it’s not that we have to follow–”

“no. i think that’ll be a good idea. they’ll definitely stop asking.” he nods. “let’s do it.”

“y-yeah.” and when you guys told kugisaki and yuuji that you two were ‘dating,’ they had sighed in relief claiming that they ‘knew it’ and you two were ‘just hiding it.’ you chuckled awkwardly and nodded along.

fortunately, the plan did work and kugisaki and yuuji had stopped bothering you guys about your relationship. on the other hand, you can’t help but notice the tense awkwardness between you and megumi whenever you two were alone together. maybe it wasn’t a good idea after all.

you’re in kugisaki’s room for another of your group to get together to down all kinds of junk food and watch corny horror movies. after getting tired of movies, you’re all on the bed and chatting away–more like kugisaki and yuuji are chatting your ears off. and you’re not sure how the conversation was directed at you and megumi’s relationship. if you even want to call it that.

“what do you mean?” you looked at the orange head skeptically.

“kiss! i meant kiss! have you guys even kissed yet?” the question hangs in the air and you can feel the spiked boy behind you tense, shuffling his legs. you avoid the prying eyes and clear your throat. what the hell were you guys going to respond to that? the silent response makes nobara and itadori’s jaws drop.

“no way!” they both exclaim, gasping and covering their mouths ever so dramatically.

“you guys dated this long and you haven’t even kissed once?” itadori inquired, brows raised in shock. you utter something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

“what was that, y/n?”

“we weren’t even dating in the first place.” silence consumes the room before it erupts into sounds of gasps and an uproar of shouts.

“what?!”

“no way! why did you lie?!” kugisaki voiced offensively.

“you guys were so insistent that we were dating, but we really weren’t. so, we just pretended to date so you guys would stop asking.” you say. kugisaki and yuuji don’t say anything and their eyes glance at megumi who seems to find a strange liking in picking at the edges of his sweatpants. the two glance at each other and settle back onto the bed.

“we didn’t mean to have forced anything on you two.” kugisaki said, gentle and a little guilty because it seemed like the two of you were on the brink of something that she did not want to happen. you weren’t able to respond when you feel megumi shuffle behind you and off the bed.

“i’m tired. i’m just. gonna go sleep.” megumi muttered, hand rubbing his neck and eyes refusing to meet anyone’s. he cleared his throat and shuffled out of the room. the room is silent again. two pairs of eyes fall on your slumped frame and when itadori opens his mouth to say something, he’s cut off with yours.

“i’m tired too. i’ll see you guys tomorrow.” and you, too, leave the room without another word. the following days have been the hardest for you. you were foolishly hooked up on your feelings for the spiky haired boy which caused you to fall countless times while training with kugisaki. she knew what got you so up in the clouds and felt guilty for what she put you two through.

“i think you should try confessing just to get it off your chest.” she told you. “trust me, it’ll be awkward at first, but you guys will forget it later. probably even look back and laugh about it.” you take her words into consideration and nod defeatedly.

“yeah, i guess.” was everything going to go back to normal once you do confess? would you guys really look back and laugh about it as part of your silly adolescent life? a heavy sigh leaves your lips.

“speak of the devil.” she grinned and nodded her head to which you followed and looked behind you. it’s megumi. he has a hand in his pocket and the other is rubbing the back of his neck and his eyes are looking to the side.

“may i speak to you, y/n?”

“o-oh. yeah, sure.” you two leave the area and head to the vending machines where you two get your respective drinks for you and your friends. that is until megumi stands to his full height and faces you, making you look at him confused.

“megumi?” you hear him clear his throat and breath out.

“i, uh, i’ve really thought about it over the time we have been apart, and,” he swallows. “i really like you, y/n. i know it’s still awkward between us because of what happened, but i needed to tell you this.” you’re stunned, shocked at what you heard. you couldn’t even process what he said when he started to doubt his words and begin to take them back.

“n-no!” you abruptly say, shaking your head. you swallow whatever was left of you and say those four words of reciprocation, albeit stumbled over them.

“i like you too, megumi.”

        ☉ Yuji didn’t really do much for Valentine’s Day before he became a Jujutsu Sorcerer since he didn’t have that many friends in his school (and wasn’t popular with the girls), and he was mostly worried about his grandpa

       ☉ But since things have changed, Yuji has changed as well

       ☉ As soon as it’s morning, expect Yuji to greet you with a wide smile and his hands behind his back saying, “Good morning! You look very beautiful as always, babe!” 

       ☉ “What’s with the sudden gentlemen act?” You’d tease before Yuji scrunches his nose with a blush and nervously pulls out the red-heart shaped box in front of you, tied neatly with a bow. It looked homemade.

       ☉ “I made these chocolates myself, it seemed better if I do it myself rather than getting some at the local store,” He pauses to bite his lip, “Umm.. are you gonna say something? You’re making me feel embarrassed...”

       ☉ As soon as you take the box of chocolates from him and thank him with a kiss or a hug, he just feels like he fell in love all over again 

       ☉ Yuji really loves physical attention, so make sure to give him a hug, a kiss, hold his hand, et cetera 

       ☉ Yuji feels like today is very important because he wants to express his love for you by doing whatever he can to make you happy

       ☉ Literally anything, he’ll make this day to worship you and he’d get on his knees and offer you money if he has to

      ☉ Yuji would plan Valentine’s day a week or two prior to make sure that everything is going to be perfect for the two of you

      ☉  He’d reserve restaurants, get his wallet stuffed, and makes sure to dress nicely than more casual than he usually wears 

      ☉  Sometimes during his plans, he can get a bit irritated when things don’t go to his plan and he tends to over think it

      ☉  Make sure to reassure him because once he realises that you’re okay, he’s okay (Yuji quickly recovers from anything tbh lol)

      ☉ But once you call out his efforts, he’ll get embarrassed and say, “Um, what’re you talking about hahaha?” Yes, he laughed in question

      ☉  Spending Valentine’s Day with Yuji is honestly just him worshiping you to make sure that you’re spoiled and loved, it’s honestly super fun and sweet hehe

      ☉  At first, Megumi didn’t care about Valentine’s Day at all, and preferred to spend it all in doors because once he goes out in walks, he always sees couples all over each other because of some day in the calendar told them to

      ☉ But since he now has a S/O, it was his time to get out in the streets, with not only himself, but with his S/O

      ☉  At first, he’d feel a bit nervous because he doesn’t know what to do on Valentine’s day, and to his last resort, he asks Gojo for help (because he knows his classmates have no experience either)

      ☉ “I’m surprised you asked me for help,” Gojo enters the room and sat down at the couch across from Megumi, “What’s the matter, Megumi?”

      ☉ “I-I need help on Valentine’s day for (Y/n)...”

      ☉  “PFFT-- AHHAAHAHAHAH”

      ☉  “Shut up!”

      ☉  “Never in my life have I expected this day to come true,” Gojo wiped a non-existent tear, “Listen forth, and listen well, son--”

      ☉ “--I’m not your son.”

      ☉ “I’ll tell you all the things you need to do for your lover to be happy on Valentine’s Day...” 

      ☉  Asking Gojo was the shittest decision he has ever made alive

      ☉  Don’t ask why, I’m sure you can think of anything

      ☉ Megumi takes things in his own hands by greeting you in the morning and inviting you to go get some breakfast at the local diner 

      ☉  He gets nervous, but he dresses nicely, and in the restaurant, he talks more politely like you’re some sort of god or something 

      ☉ Megumi doesn’t take you out to a lot of places where a lot of couples are, but he does invite you to the park where no body usually goes and shares ear buds with you, listening to your favorite artist, and hands intertwined

      ☉ “I love you.” He’d say out of nowhere, catching him off guard. He get’s embarrassed, how it suddenly just slipped out. But as soon as you reciprocate his words, he’ll smile and face away from you for you not to see his face burning up

      ☉ At the end of the day, Megumi makes a home-cooked  meal for the two of you

      ☉ His food is delicious by the way! It’s surprising how his food tastes quite divine! (Yuji totally didn’t teach him how to cook or anything...)

      ☉ “Can you hold out your hand a bit?” He’d ask. Before you can question why, he’d interrupt with a plea

      ☉ As soon as you do it, you can feel a cold metal slip into your finger and you open your eyes to see a metal ring with beautiful engravings on it

      ☉ “This is my promise ring to you. I promise that I’ll keep you safe, and that you’ll always someone so important to me.” He’d kiss your knuckles, “I love you, (Y/n).”

〄           ⤷ Norbara Kugisaki | 釘崎野薔薇 - - -

       ☉ It’s her time to shine

      ☉ Nobara wakes you up with a kiss on your forehead and greets you, “Good morning  sleepy head, planning on sleeping more?” 

      ☉ “Nobara, it’s only 7 o’clock...”

      ☉ “I don’t see the problem here, now let’s go get ready to get some breakfast down in Tokyo!”

      ☉  Nobara loves to spoil you a lot. It’s her way of showing her love for you, and acts of service 

      ☉ She’d take you to an expensive restaurant and even pay for the meal and take some selfie’s with you 

      ☉  “You look beautiful today, (Y/n).” She’d randomly say, and hold your hand and leans her head against your head/shoulders.

      ☉  She doesn’t have anything prepared, and sees this day just to absolute spoil you. 

      ☉  Oh? You want that? She’s got you. That one too? All covered.

      ☉  Since she doesn’t really have anything, she’ll sometimes sneak a purchase here and there to surprise you later on like some jewellery or chocolate 

      ☉ Seeing you happy really makes Nobara happy

      ☉ “Move ya’ pricks! We got bad bitches coming through!”

      ☉  She’s not really patient and sometimes hates the crowds that she needs to pass and will embarrass the two of you

      ☉ Nobara has been saving up for this moment because having a day dedicated to you and you being there with her makes her really happy

      ☉ If you try to get her things too, she’ll really appreciate it, but today, it’s all about you

      ☉  It doesn’t matter if you initiate her efforts, as long as you’re satisfied and happy, that’s the cost of everything that was completely worth it. 

      ☉ At night, she’ll do some skin care and think you’re adorable with the headband, the face mask, et cetera and end the day off with you two watching movies and eating some chocolate 

      ☉ Spending Valentine’s day is a bit tiring, but in the end, it’s worth it hehe
