I bought a cat plushy on impulse today and tbh when i did so i thought i was going to regret it eventually bc, yaknow, impulse buy, but i’ve been keeping it as close as possible from me ever since i got it (it is currently right under my chin) and it’s so soft and cute so i have no regrets.

As a note though, when i bought it in the store i was hesitating with others cat plushies and when i went to the checkout and was waiting for the vendor to come in some guy who was in the store with me apparently saw my hesitation and realized that i was buying the plush for myself because of how i was holding it and went “aw this is cute i see it’s in good hands. You’re not going to take its brother? you’re separating them? abandoning it??” all teasingly and it was the greatest guilttrip in the world. that’s the story of how I got bullied at a plushy store.

(though tbh he was pretty fun and i was playing along so it was all in good fun but stILL DLKJFDLF)

#LIKE LEGIT I DIDNT MIND LET IT BE CLEAR #it was clearly teasing and i was laughing along so he was teasing more in return in all good fun #probably bc like. clearly Adults:tm: in a toystore #in my defense i came in to check if they had new puzzles bc this is how i spend my lockdown days #but they had none that interested me and the plushy caught my eye. rude. #and idk like. #last time i bought a plushy in store i got teased by the shopkeeper #bc '...... so let's be honest with me: you're not planning to gift it right. it's for you.' #I DONT KNOW how people clock me as 'i buy plushies for myself' #but yeah that other time it felt very 'you - an adult? - buy plushies?' #while there it really felt 'hello plushy appreciator it's guilttrip time' so it was funnier #idk if i make sense #i talk to very few people lately irl so random fun exchange with strangers make me happy #i also passed by my favorite bubble tea place and it warms my heart that #the shopkeeper recognizes me bc of how often i come in #and that we're on at least friendly basis like asking how we're doing and stuff (which isn't usual from shops in here btw) #(since i've seen it is in the US and it really is not here lmao it's only if you're a Regular:tm:) #and it was heartwarming that she just welcomed me immediatly like 'good afternoon how are you?' #'so let me guess - straberries tea with those bubbles? just how many are you taking today' #and im. heart warmed by strangers just knowing little things about me #aNYWAY #ichatalks
