He’s an asshole, but the reviews are mixed.

It just depends on his mood. Sometimes people meet him when he’s in a good mood and they walk away thinking he’s kinda alright. Not too bad.

Sometimes they meet him when his Riddle side is really showing through and they think he's an absolute dick.

Some people just hate him to hate him and some people do not care about him in the slightest.

That being said, he has some mood swings.

He has a lot of moments where he zones out and starts overthinking things and then all of a sudden his mood is ruined. It seems sudden to others, but it makes sense to him.

He knows why he's upset, he just doesn't want to talk about it.

He just has a lot of emotions that he won’t ever show or talk about unless it’s the angry ones.

Speaking of, like Theo, he’s more of a fuck around and find out type of guy. I don't see him going out of his way to bully some random person.

However, he can be soooo obnoxious when he doesn’t like someone.

Yelling at them from across the hallway. Going out of his way to make this persons life miserable. He is so petty.

He also won’t shut up when he fights.

Theo is the type to go stone cold when he’s about to fuck someone up whereas Mattheo starts laughing to himself. I don’t know which one is scarier tbh.

I KNOW he’s not usually paired up as buddy buddy with Draco, but it just makes sense in my mind. They balance each other out.

He loves Theo because Theo makes it easy. He’s a breath of fresh air. They don’t talk about their super deep shit, but they acknowledge that it’s there and they give each other a shoulder to lean on. A mutual understanding of each other.

He loves Draco for the opposite reason. Nothing about their friendship is easy because all Draco does is nag him.

Draco always tries to push his aesthetic and fashion choices onto Mattheo. Tries. But Mattheo makes it very clear he won’t be another Malfoy minion.

What Mattheo does appreciate is when Draco guides him through his homework. Showing patience he didn’t know Draco was capable of.

When Draco bust into Mattheo’s room to get him up for Quidditch because Mattheo was out partying till who knows when.

When Draco hands him a buttered pastry and some water after Mattheo pukes his guts out from said partying.

Draco says it’s because he can’t have one of his star players incapacitated, but they both know it’s because Draco loves him too.

Definitely the ‘baby’ of the group. Mattheo is always in some sort of a mess.

I feel like I’ve pinpointed a lot of Mattheo’s more immature moments, which?? In all fairness, really shines through with his friends.

But he also has a lot of emotional maturity as well.

He’s someone who would be attentive even if he definitely doesn't seem like it.

He's usually in his own head, but if he's actively paying attention then he picks up on mood switches very quickly.

I feel like the whole group is actually very good at picking up on shifts in energy. It's a trauma response from growing up with narcissistic and abusive parents.

Poor babies.

Mattheo is a lot of work and the boys always end up taking care of him, but he takes care of them too.

Mattheo is surprisingly good with his words when it counts. He can’t talk himself out of a bad headspace, but he can talk other people out of them.

He gives good advice, and although his exterior is often cold, he can bring a nice comforting energy that’s appreciated throughout his whole friend group.

I think that he is like this because he would always comfort his friends when their death eater parents would get a little too rough verbally or physically in the name of Voldemort. Since his dad had a hand in driving these people towards being even more cruel he feels kinda responsible.

He can make his ear fins wiggle and droop and they will sometimes do it unconsciously, perhaps because of how he’s feeling or if he’s eating or sucking on something. Unlike Floyd, Jade will do his best to control it since that shows his emotions and he doesn't want others to be able to read him, though that's not to say he won’t do it on purpose like when he fake cries. The whole “being able to produce tears” thing wasn't something he could do until he got on land. Fish don't have or need tear ducts. Still, if it's just the two of you he might give a fin wiggle to hear you giggle, he be silly like that sometimes,

He can make the arm fins flare out and go down so he can get shirts on easier, and they will flare out when trying to be threatening.

Still keeps some of his eel coloring and stripes along with his claws. His hands start with that not-quite-white he has and become more of that green-blue going up.

His fingers have little bits of webbing and...are kind of creepily long. 

Doesn’t blink as often as a human should and his eyes glow in the dark, along with his habit of staring it can be a bit startling. 

Like his brother, is very instant on getting you in the water with him for some reason. If you can't swim, he'll offer to let you ride him. Though he is capable of outspending a broom you don't worry about him trying to zoom like Floyd, that doesn't mean he won't try to scare you in the water though. He may be more polite than his brother but he's still a little shit.

Has no belly button or nips.

Has a very strong interest in your feet and legs, especially with how…soft they are. In the official manga, we get to see that Floyd isn't the only touchy eel, though he isn't…rough about it like Floyd. Well, not as long as it's you. He loves to poke, squeeze, and rub them. Very very badly wants to bite but…he’s a gentleman. At least until you guys are together, and he has permission, expect to look like you got nabbed by a small shark then after.

He can't help but be fascinated by how different your body is, he really does want to study you, though funnily enough he gets a bit of stage fright if you try doing the same.

Is a fan of those small clawless hands. Seeing how they prune up when wet for too long, holding them and enjoying that soft warmth. He’s bigger than plenty of people but gets a special kick out of how big you make him feel.

His skin feels different from what humans have but isn't quite the same as when in his eel form. It's soft but also…thick. Along with eating fish, crabs, and octopus's moray also eat very toxic creatures and as a result, the blood and flesh of a moray are very toxic. They accumulate high levels of ciguatoxins, which can give humans ciguatera fish poisoning (CFP) if eaten. There will be times in a fight where he’ll get his blood on the guy on purpose and Jade has used his blood for…things before. Part of why Jade wants to test “special” mushrooms on others is because the poison won't affect him, and he wants to see how it affects others. Might poison you in small doses on purpose so you'll build up a tolerance.

A moray will often eat anything small enough to fit in its mouth and is capable of taking a chunk out of bigger fish. As a result, Floyd will also try to eat…not food things if he can fit it in his mouth. Luckily for you, Jade has more self-control than his brother so your small nicknacks are safe...for now.

Everything about you just triggers his prey drive. He really wants to bite you, chase you, squish you, put eggs in you, bite you some more. Really hates having to keep up his calm gentlemanly image at times.

Can open his mouth scarily wide and his teeth are longer than OG Jade's, so it's a bit harder for him to hide them like he would with those polite smiles he always has. Very long tongue, you've seen it when he totally wasn't trying to show it off to you. He was just enjoying that ice cream. Funny how you're the only one to get a good look at it though.

Has pharyngeal jaws which are a second set of smaller jaws located in the throat of the moray eel, behind the normal jaws in the mouth, complete with tiny teeth. This set of jaws gets launched into the mouth cavity during feeding, where it can grasp onto food, and pull it into the throat to swallow. Morays are unique in using their pharyngeal jaws to actively capture and restrain prey in this way.

Certain eels have been shown to be surprisingly affectionate with divers they recognize and enjoy petting, rubbing, and gentle hugs. Though a bit touchy, when in public he is nowhere near as touchy as Floyd. When alone? Just as bad if he knows you are comfortable with it.

His gills are still present so his rib area is a weak spot. Getting hit there would really hurt and really piss him off.

Is nocturnal and prefers dark places, especially when sleeping. He also likes being snug and wrapped up for sleepies. In the sea, he would like to sleep in small places with his brother and would love for you and him to share a sleeping bag when camping.

Moray have a spongy, sluggy texture from their lack of scales. To top it off, these fish are covered in a thick mucous layer. Believe it or not, mucous serves a very strong purpose in nature, typically providing a protective barrier over otherwise vulnerable layers of skin. Your stomach should have a thick mucous layer to protect it from the acids inside, and similarly, a fish without scales can make good use of this snotty, slimy substance to keep it safe from toxins and physical damage as it occupies its rocky habitat.

The green moray eel is actually brown under all the snot; it’s just covered in a thick green layer of mucous. In some species, this mucous is even toxic, making them a particularly nasty prey item. Luckily what Floyd and Jade have isn't the toxic kind and will make your skin pretty nice. Jade will use this in his favor to get more cuddles. Careful though, he may do what Floyd does and perform what is known as a slime attack by slapping someone in the face with his tail, it is very unpleasant to get in your mouth.

The smallest moray, the Snyder’s moray, is around 12cm (4.5in) long, and the largest is more than 3m (over 10ft) long and weighs up to 30kg. A huge moray eel in Indonesia has been witnessed feeding on sharks and I like to headcanon the tweels are pretty big in their mer form and not just because of tail length.

Morays actually have pretty bad eyesight and a keen sense of smell to make up for this and rely primarily on chemoreception such as smells and tastes to navigate their world. I do wonder if the twins need glasses but don't use them or maybe wear contacts. 

Jade is very good at tracking you down by scent and likes it when you smell like him and him smelling like you. Though he loves cuddling and hugging you, it isn't just for affection. He’s giving you that eel stank, plenty of the others are weary around him and you smelling like him can help keep others away.

Unlike with Floyd Him leaving clothes at your place is never out of forgetfulness. He plans everything out. Insistes that you put on his coat when it’s cold out and drapes it on you before you can say no. Hoodies aren't usually his thing, but his ass bought some just for  “forgetting” them at your place. They're actually some fancy name-brand ones. Still, even with his planning, he could not prepare himself with how good you looked in them…it was so big on you, and you looked so cute and now it smelled like you and….

The moray can form a true knot with its body, that it uses as leverage to pull on prey items like slippery fish. They can also use this method to create strong pressure to break food items into smaller pieces. It’s thought that the skill is passed on between individuals. So, if you want to escape eel cuddles…good luck but it's probably not going to happen. Even in his more human form his long arms and legs will be wrapped around you. Kinda funny thinking of the tweel's parents teaching them how to become living knots though.

Certain types of eels can change their sex. The leaf-nosed moray born male, transitions as they age, switching to female later in life. This transformation determines them as “sequential hermaphrodites” I like to headcanon that the tweens can also change sex or already have both in their mer form. 

Morays can have around 10,000 eggs at a time, and when the larvae are hatched, the eels are fully translucent. I like to think the boys started out as tiny little things you can hold in your hand.

Regular eels do seem to have some courtship rituals. Some of which being displays of behavior, such as graceful movements and vibrant color changes and I already like that headcanon of the tweels being bioluminescent. Maybe he convinced you to come down to his dorm's special pool one night and decided to show off for you. Showing off that beautiful glow while doing these cool tricks in the water. A positive reaction will likely be taken as acceptance, so unless you tell him no, you will receive some wet slimy eel-loving.

Male eels may compete with each other for the attention of females showcasing strength and health to impress a potential mate. Welp, time for Jade to invite you to a hike and show off, expect to be carried after he makes up after walking into an area, something about the grounds stability and how only a seasoned hiker like him knows the proper steps to safety. Dude will lift up a whole ass dead tree trunk stuck in your path. Will also be even more of a menace towards the other guys.

Eels also release pheromones into the water to attract and communicate with potential partners but...hmm you're just a human and on land. With the others being beasts and all, they would be able to smell it easily and know to stay the hell away from him but would his little shrimpy notice? I think at most that if it's something that you can smell it probably just seems like Jade has just smelled a bit…musky lately. He is probably around you even more and keeps close to see your reaction to it. He probably gets sad if you tell him he stinky and takes it as you not wanting him. If you compliment it? Very happy eel time.

As for the rest of what he does, it's little things like bringing you food which is often cooked by him, little trinkets that made him think of you, and getting territorial around others. The latter usually ends up with him not bothering to hide his teeth as he “smiles” at whoever is talking to you, likely having his hand on your shoulder or waist while doing so.

Everyone loved love stories like yours. The childhood friends that separated only to meet again and become a couple. And you loved it too…until you didn’t.

Mason was the love of your life. You’ve known him since you were a baby, really. And probably fell in love with him when you were only 5. But there were a lot of moments in your life where you had to separate because he moved to London, and then he went to The Netherlands for a year, …and it was tough to see him leave you behind but you understood. Everyone just expected you to get over your crush and move on at some point. But you didn’t. And one time when he came back home to visit his family, he finally confessed he felt the same way about you.

That had been 2 years ago. 24 months of happiness by your soulmate’s side…or so people thought. Because after the first year, the cracks in your relationship started to show.

“Are you even happy?”, asked you one of your friends when you confessed to her that you and Mason had been having problems.

“Of course. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I have a good job, family is healthy and I’m dating the best guy”.

“Tell that to your fake smile. Honey…I’m not looking forward to you two breaking up knowing how that would break your heart but you aren’t happy. You’re arguing all the time, even in front of people. You look so sad and I want you to go back to how you used to be. I know it’s hard to let go of your first love but sometimes it’s for the best”.

“I…”.

“I know. Just think about it. Think about the pros and cons. And try and take the best decision for you. Because that’s who matters, you. You always put everyone else before you and it needs to stop”.

And she was right, of course she was. So that was why after another big fight over the stupidest thing, you finally put yourself first.

“We can’t do this anymore, Mason”.

“What do you mean?”

“This. Us. It’s destroying us. We are always fighting and we barely see each other so…how is that living? I feel like if maybe we stop now, we could at least save our friendship. Maybe even try this out again in the future. When we’re in different places in our lives”.

His look was of pure shock, mixed with anger. He really wasn’t used to being told something like this.

“Do you not love me?”

“I love you too much, Mason. Too much to force you, and to force me, to stay in this toxic relationship. We’re hurting each other”.

“Is there someone else?”

He had to be kidding.

“No! There is no one else! See? We can’t even talk without you turning everything into a fight!”

“Because you’re giving up on me. On us”.

“Someone has to. Before we destroy each other”.

And with those final words, you left him there. It broke your heart, but you knew you were doing the right thing.

What you needed in that moment was a fresh start and your job provided you with one. Most people couldn’t believe that you were willing to move from London to Manchester. To a smaller office and a smaller position in the company. But you just couldn’t stay in London anymore. Manchester wasn’t that far away but…it was better. The distance helped.

And the city also had something else waiting for you to help mend your broken heart. Well, not a something but a someone.

“Sorry”, you heard someone say in the middle of Sainsbury’s. “I know this sounds weird but I’ve seen you here shopping a few times and it’s driving me insane not knowing where I know you from”.

You looked up at the man talking to you and he looked familiar too. And when you looked at him properly, you knew exactly why he thought he knew you.

“Who’s that looking at us? He looks familiar”.

Mason turned to see who you meant and rolled his eyes. “Rúben Dias. He plays for City and I met him once at an F1 GP”.

“Right”.

You remembered that GP. Because you were supposed to attend with him but a big fight a few days prior made you stay home. Another plan ruined by your fights.

The man, Rúben, approached you to say hello to your boyfriend.

“Hi Mason, how are you?”

“Good, thanks. We need to go. See you later”.

“Ok?”

Rúben’s confusion at Mason’s behaviour mirrored yours.

“Why were you so rude to him?”

“How could I not be? He’s been staring at you the whole time”.

“Mason”, you said with a sigh. “He doesn’t know me. If anything, he would have been staring at you”.

“I’m not the one wearing that dress”.

“I thought you liked this dress. You bought it for me”.

“I like it. I don’t like guys drooling around you when you wear it”.

You were tired. Too tired. And not ready for another argument in front of so many people. So you just let the comment slide…there would be time to fight about it once you two were back home.

“You’re Rúben, right?”

“So you know me too?”, he laughed. “Now I’m even more confused. But also intrigued. Please put me out of my misery”.

You laughed as well. “We saw each other at an event months ago. I was there with Mason Mount”.

“Oh”, you could tell the moment when it all clicked. “I remember now”.

“We aren’t together anymore”.

“Good”.

His words surprised you. Why would he say that?

“I mean. I only know the guy from playing against him and partying together once but when I saw him with you…no one deserves to be treated like that”.

“I know. That’s why I left”.

The way he smiled at you reminded you of how your friend had when you told her about leaving Mason. They both looked proud of you.

After that chat in the supermarket, you promised to meet again. It would be good for you to have a friend in Manchester that wasn’t just someone from your office.

Rúben ended up being someone you could talk to, someone who could help you, someone who understood you like no one had before. So falling for him was just something inevitable.

And everything was perfect but still…you worried. Rúben had to play against Mason. And, even if he respected your wish to be private, one day you’d have to tell the world you were together. And the reaction from Mason worried you. But also, what about his family? His fans? Even random people just judging you for dating two football players…facing everyone’s opinions terrified you.

“You need to stop”, mumbled Rúben.

“What do I need to stop? I thought you were sleeping”.

“I was, but the light from your screen woke me up. You’re addicted, my love. Wait until you leave the bed to check social media”.

You laughed at his complaint. He was right and you knew it but it was hard to change some habits.

It was when you were about to block your phone to enjoy your boyfriend’s kisses that you saw it.

Mason Mount agrees personal terms with Manchester United.

The phone fell from your hands and that caught Rúben’s attention. “So clumsy. See? Another reason to not be on your phone in bed”, he laughed. “We don’t want it to fall on your pretty face”.

“Mason is going to sign for United”.

“Huh?”

You showed the article to him.

“It’s ok”, he tried to reassure you.

“It just complicates things more…”.

“It doesn’t if we don’t allow it to. Your ex is moving to this city, big deal. It’s big enough for the three of us, I swear”.

“But he’ll play for United…”.

“It’s not as if he’s signing for City. That would be a bit trickier, not gonna lie. But I’ve played against him this season and it was fine”.

“Ok, I’ll believe you. But I have a bad feeling about this”.

The feeling never left you but…nothing happened. Mason moved to Manchester and didn’t even try to contact you. He was living his own life while you lived yours.

That was…until things changed.

On a Wednesday off with no matches, you and Rúben made your way to Bruno Fernandes’ house. The Portuguese players sometimes hosted a little get-together to catch up, even if they played for rival teams. You were literally the only non-Portuguese there but they still made you feel like one of them.

But people didn’t get they could be friends and rivals at the same time, so you kept those meetings private. Private like Bruno’s private Instagram account where he posted a story where you were seating next to Rúben. His arm was around your shoulder to bring you closer to him and the smiles on your faces couldn’t be bigger.

Bruno didn’t have many followers on that private account because that way he could make sure no one leaked anything private to the press. But he let his teammates follow him. And that meant that Mason was now following his account. So on that Wednesday night, when he was scrolling on Instagram totally bored, he saw the story. He saw you and Rúben together. And no one could see that photo and not know you two were a couple.

However, he didn’t call you to ask for an explanation. He didn’t tell Bruno about it either, to try and get information from his teammate. He waited until he had to meet Rúben at the Manchester derby to do something.

“Are you the reason she broke up with me?”, he said when the players were about to go out to warm up.

“I don’t know how you’ve found out but leave her alone”.

“Answer my question”.

“I didn’t know her then so no, I wasn’t the reason why she left you. It was all your doing”.

“What do you know about our private life?”

“Enough to want to smash your face against a wall but I won’t do it because it’s not worth it. And now she is with someone who treats her the way she deserves to be treated. That’s all that matters to me”.

Mason didn’t like that answer. At all. And so he spent the whole match trying to provoke Rúben to get a reaction from him but found none. The only thing he found was his way to the bench in the second half, after being told off by his coach for not focusing on the match.

“Shaw needs to do the post-match interviews”, said one of the media people.

“He’s injured and receiving treatment. Send someone else”.

“I’ll do it”, said Mason and no one thought much of it.

The Sky Sports reporter asked him all the same boring questions he was so used to answering. But she also asked the one he was waiting for.

“We also saw you seemed to have some issues with Rúben Dias. It almost seemed personal”, she laughed.

“It was. He stole my girl after all”.

The reporter’s jaw almost hit the floor but Mason didn’t allow her to recover and ask more questions before leaving.

When you saw the clip on social media, you felt like you were going to faint. Rúben saw it too and tried to get back home as fast as possible. For once, you weren’t in the stadium with him. Now he was happy you were nowhere near your ex.

“I can’t believe he did that”, was all you said when he got home.

And he knew words meant nothing at that point, so he just hugged you while you cried. Waiting for you to let all the tears out.

“What do you want to do?”, he finally said.

“What do you mean?”

“Do you want us to respond? I could get my team to write everything before we publish it to make sure it’s well written. Or we could not say anything. He doesn’t get to change how we handle our relationship”.

“You should probably deny what he said. Your reputation…”.

“You think I care about my reputation right now?”, asked Rúben. And you had never seen him looking so serious. “I promised he would never make you cry again and look at you right now”.

“You can’t protect me from everything, Rúben”.

“Why?”

That finally made you laugh. “Because that’s how life is. And it’s not your fault. It’s only his”.

After debating what was the best strategy to follow, you decided to make your relationship public. Well, it already was thanks to Mason. But you were now able to tell your side of the story.

It was a long post where you mentioned breaking up with Mason before moving to Manchester, where you met Rúben. You made it clear there had been no cheating involved, which was very important for you. Cheaters made you sick so being compared to one was the worst feeling. And you just basically made it clear that you and Rúben still planned to keep a low profile and asked for people not to invade your privacy.

Even after that post, you expected to get a lot of abuse on social media. But what you didn’t expect was to get a message from Mason.

[Mason]: I’m sorry about what I did. Can we please talk? No tricks. I just need to talk to you.

“Rúben? You need to see this”.

You showed him the text and he frowned while reading it. “Do you want me to go with you if you meet him?”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea”.

“But you going alone…”.

“I think I need to do this. I don’t know how to explain it but I just do”.

“I trust your instinct. Do whatever feels right to you”.

So over a year after leaving Mason, you were in front of him again. There was your friend, your first love, the person you thought you were going to spend your life with…and now he felt like a stranger.

“I’m sorry”, he said and you nodded. “I went crazy when I saw you with someone else. And the fact that it was another player…it’s irrational but it hurt more for some reason”.

“I guess I can understand that. But it’s not like I did it on purpose. My life would be a lot easier dating an average Joe, you know?”

“Easier maybe, but not better, right? I saw how happy you looked with him. You never looked that happy with me”.

“I was happy…”, you tried to defend yourself but he lifted a hand to stop you.

“But not that happy. And I’m glad you are. I’m glad you found someone who can make you smile like that”.

“Then why did you try and shame me in front of millions of people?”

“Because I felt shame myself. Shame about how it all ended for us. Shame that it wasn’t me who made you happy. But I’ve made my peace. Next time I talk to the media I’ll tell them I lied. You deserve to keep smiling the way he makes you smile instead of all the tears I caused”.

Earth 42 Miles Headcanons/Observations??

-Before the death of his dad, Mr. Morales would take Miles on patrols and the occasional pursuit when something suddenly went down, and watching that he learned how cops operate so now he uses that information to avoid them while doing prowler work.

-I know some of y’all think he’s a hood nigga but in my mind, I just can’t see it all that much. Like yeah, he knows the streets very well he has no choice but to but, he's still Miles, and EVERY Miles is some form of a nerd and lowkey sensitive.

-Speaking of being a complete nerd every little nerdy black boy got their anime to start with Naruto so he's no different. He could probably also get behind death note because it's dramatic and suspenseful.

-He's not straight-up disrespectful. Although sometime the way he words things or his tone could come off as rude he doesn't necessarily mean for it to come out that way…usually. He was raised by a widowed single mom Rio Morales to be specific and just from her minimal screen time in both movies we know she doesn't play.

-But don't get it twisted if he has to pop a mfer in the mouth he will no doubt.

-I feel like he's into different music genres that somehow fall under the category of calm/chill ness(???). His life is chaotic and dramatic enough as it is so the things that he can control, he keeps chill. For instance, the song “Fantasy” by Bazzi seems like his vibe. (I'm not self-projecting I promise!!).

-Definitely feels like he has to grow up and be more mature than his peers due to all of his responsibility. I imagine one day he's just in his room thinking and contemplating life then looks around at how his room is decorated with toys, action figures, and old drawings.

-So he gathers it up getting ready to give everything away until Rio sees and stops him reminding Miles that even during all of this he’s still a kid and deserves to be able to enjoy life like one.

-With that being said, Mrs.Morales tries to get Miles to put himself out there again, asking him to join different clubs and things of the sort, and after a while, he finally lands on two robotics/computer club and baseball (I had to add this because of that one piece of fanart ITS SO GOOD). He even makes some acquaintances in these. Once he gets comfortable with speaking semi-freely people find him likable. 

-I would love to say he joined the art club but I feel like he keeps his art private.

-He’s 100% a mamas’ boy but not a toxic weird incesty type, he just really loves her and looks up to the way she operates. The way she's able to hold herself together and support his needs and even Aarons’ if he needs it.

-He looks up to Aaron in the same way too just doesn't express it as much, not saying that he verbally expressed love all that much with Rio but they both know he loves them and accepts his nonchalantness knowing he's just scared to really express his feelings casually.

Every so often I’ll try to peek into fandoms for other video games/shows/movies and see if they’re worth joining and….ugh.

I’m not gonna lie. It just makes me feel so lucky to be apart of the Soulsborne fandom in general. I have been here for years now and I have never felt the stress or strain of classic fandom toxicity the way I do when I spend only a day or two trying to rummage through other fandoms. Negative fan behavior and strife has literally kept me out of so many other online communities. I rarely feel secure anywhere else.

But Soulsborne? Sure, we have the stuck-up git gud crowd that doesn’t understand what git gud really means, we have bitter casuals that spam the most overpowered weapons until those weapons get nerfed and then they start screaming, we have some occasional lore disagreements that usually involve something to do with old men and their dolls, we sometimes have sibling-style fights over the second Dark Souls game that lead to some pretty intense verbal exchanges, though the second a FromSoftware hater gets involved, everyone teams up and roasts them for daring to diss any Dark Souls game because how dare you.

But that’s about it. Ship wars are almost nonexistent/extremely tamed, there aren’t fandom morality teams, there aren’t flocks of raging teens attacking voice actors or writers, there aren’t internet-viral horror stories about the utter madness of gatekeeping revolutions or bullying campaigns, etc..

It’s just chill and full of good memes and people that would be considered clinically insane if they ever casually said the things they say when discussing lore intricacies. No girl, you can’t explain to your neighbor why you believe that consuming three umbilical cords, killing the moon, and ascending to squidhood is the best possible option to choose when trapped in a world enslaved to The Cycle, but you absolutely can say that here! Let’s talk about it!!

Hell, we even have dozens of stories and anecdotes about how Dark Souls helped people through depression and anxiety. I mean, Solaire exists. Japanese artists draw some of the cutest chibi art of him and other wholesome characters as though we were in a fandom for kids. Or rather, how kid fandoms were meant to be. Ha.

Oh and, speaking of artists? The content creators in this fandom? You guys are literally some of the most talented people I’ve ever seen. The streamers, the artists, the writers, the lore freaks, the data-miners, the musicians, the comedy crowd, the illustrators, the comic/zine creators, the meme lords? This community thrives on these people. We are drowning in content every day thanks to them!

I just love it here. It’s like my Firelink Shrine. A safe little haven full of weird people that are actually my friends. I’ve gotten through some of the heaviest points in my life thus far with undeniable encouragement from these damn games and the community built around them. This is what fandoms were meant to be, my friends.

Something so weird just happened. I was defending SNS by saying that what people might call "toxic" about their relationship was the violent aspect of their relationship, but that in the story it was shown that there’s a reason behind Naruto and Sasuke’s violent dynamic. They’re rivals, but their rivality is portrayed as healthy. Sometimes when they fight the story shows us that it’s because they don’t know better, and that they don’t properly know how to express themselves in another way.

So, all was good, until someone commented that they agreed with me because I "understood that there were times in a story were problematic subjects were considered healthy when the story tells us it’s normal. So it’s stupid when antishippers complain about a story containing big age gape, incest or lollies when it’s said it’s normal in this story’s universe. Same thing with violence in Naruto"

I was so confused. Like, did they seriously compared Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship to inc*st and lollies??

I feel like this kind of person is just insecure with reading stories containing big age gape, inc*st, r*pe etc… So they need the story to tell them "It’s okay in my universe, so you don’t have to feel guilty about it". But Naruto doesn’t just say "Violence is good and completely normalized in my world :)". On the contrary, it tries to make the readers ask question about the violence in the story, to reflects how they can understand violence IRL. Is violence necessary? Is violence justified in some cases? Isn’t talking with your opponents instead of fighting them better?

On the other hand, I don’t see how you can make your readers ask themselves anything about stuff like lollies or p*do couples. Isn’t that obvious tha

The story doesn’t just tell us "Naruto and Sasuke fight but who cares, in my world violence is sexy". It even shows us that Naruto and Sasuke can properly understand each other when talking with each other…

To me it sounds like that person is talking about other things entirely and it has nothing to do with ‘Naruto’. Perhaps they personally are annoyed by said ‘anti shippers’ that don’t support their preferences and experienced arguments surrounding those topics... Keep Naruto and Sasuke out of it though... 

Yeah, it makes no sense to compare the Narutoverse to a story that obeys other internal rules of causality (and says certain things are okay). Those aren’t the same thing and shouldn’t be compared then. It is fine to make comparisons when it matters, but with a consistent reality like the Narutoverse (which means the Setting lets the characters interact with the world consistently like Chakra control and values) Kishimoto created discipline and is true to itself. It (story) is a metaphor to reality but not the same thing therefore you can’t really judge it all the same from a realistic standpoint... because it’s not. And if done well, an audience can absorb themselves into a character, their world and decide from their point of view what is best at any given time. Not their own. 

When someone favors one character over the other they decide from that character’s perspective- that’s usually what happens and it is proven by neuroscience. With that, everyone has their own internal framing that happened before that though. (Read: they lived life.) That’s probably why that person made a connection themselves surrounding these topics even though to the rest of humanity... that doesn’t make sense :’) There are of course the people who passive-aggressively comment under everything SNS-related thing something along the lines of: “oh wow look they are soooooo cute, like brothers!! 🥰” And don’t mean it at all apart from wanting to push the brother-narrative that doesn’t exist. 

Then it really isn���t a question whether something is ‘healthy/normal’ or not unless that was the story's intention, but whether a character’s next course of action makes sense, is believable and is something that is supported. Tbh, it is up to the creator to make its world as believable as possible. Combine 'Naruto' with its heavy Shonen-framing where actually the most violent things like child-trafficking, human-testing and mass-murder get glossed over... did any of you remember the thousands of people who died during that first day of war? Or are we all focussed on Neji only? (That’s fair. And makes sense but is not realistic.) 

What did get challenged in ‘Naruto’ over and over again, as you say too, is whether violence was necessary and how do we overcome these struggles? (Shinobi society.) Indeed, what is justified and accepted in that world/what is not? Naruto’s entire quest later is to find ‘peace’ because of it and so is Sasuke. He doesn’t even know how but he tries his best, Sasuke has a plan but it requires sacrifce. Naruto and Sasuke weren’t going to figure anything out by sharing a lemonade and trauma’s on a sunny day and negotiate their intentions moving forward. That’s out of character and doesn’t fit the world. You’ll have to look at the emotional aspect of it and their (Naruto/Sasuke’s) battles always are emotional first. And these emotions are just as, if not more, prominent than the physical battle. Because it matters why they fight.

You know I love shrunkyclunks, and I can just imagine Cap!Steve being on IG, mostly lurking (people assume he doesn’t know how social media/modern technology works, and he likes to keep it that way and play dumb), and one day he comes across this in his recommended posts. At first he kinda thinks it’s ridiculous, to make these kinds of videos, just for attention, and he scrolls down from it pretty quickly.

But then a couple of days later he sees one of his reels again, and well, he’s only human, and he has to admit that this guy, Bucky, is really good looking, shirtless or in tight workout gear, with tattoos all over his arms that definitely do something to him. He ends up going to his profile and watching a bunch of those videos, and turns out, Bucky isn’t just a pretty face and a ridiculous body, he’s also…he’s nice, sweet.

He has a wonderful smile. Gives people advice that’s not at all what he expected, nothing like the gym bro he thought he would be, nothing toxic. Yes, he talks about workouts and nutrition a lot, but he also talks openly about his body image issues, mental health, and sometimes about his cat, Alpine, his sister Becca, or his army buddies.

He can’t help but watch every video, and he feels weird about it, but he can’t help but turn on the notifications for when Bucky posts. It takes a while before he gets the courage to comment on one of Bucky’s posts, and he doesn’t expect a response - Bucky gets 1000s of comments on his posts - much less a DM. Bucky tells him he’s noticed Steve on his account, and that he can’t believe that he has anything to say that could be worth anything to Steve, but if he ever needs advice, Bucky’s always willing to help.

And like you said, they chat that way for a while, getting closer and closer. Even if some of their life experiences are different, he feels like Bucky understands him. Messaging with him like this is nice, but Steve really, really would like to meet Bucky in real life some time. He thinks about what to say, how to ask him without sounding weird, eventually settling on asking Bucky if he wants to join Steve on a run some day, which Bucky eagerly says yes to.

It’s a mistake. Bucky is even better looking in person, and Steve feels out of breath before they’ve even started running. He shows up in shorts and a tight shirt, hair pulled back in a bun, locks of it trying to escape while they run, and it doesn’t take long, going at Steve’s pace, for Bucky to sweat through his shirt enough for it to cling to his body. No one should look this attractive while working out, and Steve can’t stop his brain from trying to imagine what Bucky would look like if they… exerted themselves together in a different way.

Which, they end up doing, after a coffee date, that turns into a dinner date, that turns into…

Having said all that - I also love this idea with Modern Steve, being Bucky’s roommate and best friend and being the guy behind the camera after Bucky complains about how hard it is to film all of this himself. Imagine a flustered, pining Steve, with lots of staring and Bucky doing his very best to get Steve to notice him, completely oblivious to the fact that Steve notices all of him, all the time. Cue idiots in love and miscommunication and eventual confession of feelings…

I should write one of these one day arghhh ~ looks at endless WIP/ideas list and cries~ but thank youuuu for sharing this with me lovely 💖💖💖 even if you don’t have tastebuds you do have taste and I love you 💕💕

Creative Block Is The Worst Type of Headache

Being a graphic design student is all fun and pretty fonts until creative block creeps up on me. Unfortunately, this block is likely to be a part of my process throughout my career, which is why it is critical to address how to overcome it, since I don’t think it is spoken about enough. However, after lots of research I found some things that helped me feel at peace when I get creative blocks. 

I found it exciting and relieving to discover that I am not unqualified in what I do just because I feel stuck. It is through creative blocks that you gain a different perspective of who you are and tend to overthink if you are truly the creative individual you sought out to be. My paper aims to explain to the audience that having blocks of creativity and feeling stuck is perfectly normal, and that there are ways to overcome it. The intended audience for this is creatives looking for inspiration and those who just want to feel inspired but don't know where to begin. This topic appeals to me because I am a graphic design student who is constantly trying to generate creative ideas. At times I feel stuck, and I know I'm not the only one feeling this way, and I want to help solve that problem for myself and others as well. As I work on this topic, I understand I will face some constraints. One main constraint that came to mind was feeling so unmotivated and uncreative that you can’t even try to overcome it. There have been plenty of times in my life where I feel stuck and just want to give up, however if we utilize the strategies to overcome this block we may find that the creativity was right in front of us all along, we were just trying too hard to find it. 

Imposter syndrome, which I believe goes hand in hand with the creativity block, is one of the ideas I've considered exploring. It's so exciting when we finally put in our best effort and create something truly unique that we are proud of... until the next day when you walk into class and see Chelsea with her amazing work that looks so much better than yours. This can be especially difficult when we believe we aren't good enough and begin comparing ourselves to others. This occurs frequently among creatives, and I believe it would be interesting to discuss it further in my research. Another idea I thought would be interesting to discuss is how to feel inspired, because sometimes no matter how much content we consume, we just can't seem to feel encouraged enough. Knowing what makes us feel inspired will definitely help us when we get into weird funks with our work. Finally, I'd like to dive deep into why breaks are necessary. I have a difficult time taking breaks from my work and can become obsessed with doing it perfectly, which can be quite toxic at times. We need to encourage ourselves to take a seat and unwind for a while. We are human, and we must care for ourselves. Knowing when to take breaks is essential, because we have to enjoy life a little and maybe it will have us coming back to our work feeling refreshed again.

This Ted Talk by Kandarp Mehta is a good example of how important my topic is. Kandarp discusses several ways to break through creative blockages and cultivate a sense of humility during the idea generation process in order to unlock creative potential. The majority of what Kandarp said was extremely helpful to me, which is why I think my research should include it. There were also a few online articles I discovered that were particularly interesting. The first one being, “Feeling Like a Fraud?” by the American Psychological Association. This article talks about how imposter syndrome occurs among high achievers who are unable to internalize and accept their success. I thought this was interesting to find out because it made me feel a little bit better about myself and I hope it finds my audience well too. Feeling this way shows we care about what we produce and the passion we have for our work. With that being said, I think it says a lot about who we are as people. Another finding I came across was, “9 professional designers’ tips for overcoming creative block,” by Anna Lundberg. Anna mentions her creative process and explains ways that help her overcome it. Which I thought would be good to include in my research because it is nice to know that even professionals feel this way.

Overall, for my research project my objective is to express to my audience that while a creative block is difficult to work with there are strategies you can use to open up new perspectives on an idea. Just because we feel stuck doesn’t mean we can’t do it.

CW: getting things off my chest. Allusions to pedophilia. Mentions of bullying. This is NOT an argument for questionable behaviors. It is a request for understanding and judging a person on their own merit, not age or stereotyping.

You may skip it. It's pretty long. If you don’t have it in you to read some stress-induced ramblings, that's OK.

So, I need to talk about something unpopular again. It’s a difficult thing for a lot of people to talk about, because in fandom, we seem to think that kids and adults have to live separate fandom lives, and that’s just erroneous. 

You may say something about the content 18+ persons being something that the 18 and under are unprepared for, but I think we need to talk about something important about that. That being that not everything that 18+ people like, talk about, or do is inappropriate for a younger audience. Not all 20-somethings or 30 somethings (or older even) seek exclusively NSFW content, and not all of them are out to groom kids. 

Recently I found myself in a group that decided that they needed to have two separate groups for the two age groups, and while I’m sure they have their reasons, it just hits me the same as what I’ve experienced in other fandoms as I have grown older. That thing is the segregation of adults from kids, as though adults and young adults can’t talk to one another without things becoming badly toxic. 

I’ve done a lot of work, both volunteer and paid, with youth and young adults, and let me tell you, it’s pretty clear why the generations feel so separated from one another. It’s clear why they don’t understand one another. After all, how can you understand someone you never interact with? 

So, when I got that decision passed down, I found myself feeling some kind of way. I plan to join the other group, because I don’t want to be left behind and feel like I’m not allowed to like the things I like because I’m old and that makes me weird. 

However, I’m also neurodivergent (ADHD at around some of the highest my psychiatrist of the time had seen) and that means that sometimes I don’t keep up with others my age development-wise. It means that I get involved with certain things rather intensely. I also tend not to understand why I’m expected to stop liking something just because of the arbitrary number of years assigned to me. 

I find that older people get kept out of fandoms or forced to be kept away from others, so that the only way we really get to interact in any meaningful way is through Ao3 and reblogging things as the lurkers we are on Tumblr. The void between the ages grows as we separate one from the other, and it’s not exactly a good thing.

As we grow and age, we as humans need to learn a lot of things. We learn those things from older people. So too, you cannot expect someone to suddenly divorce themselves from everyone else who is a teen just because they’ve had a birthday and are suddenly over that line. 

In the case of interests of this variety, age is generally only an arbitrary number until things become NSFW, and if they haven’t then nothing is wrong. We can- adults- abide by the request to avoid such things. We can interact with mixed company without being inherently unsafe for people under 18 to interact with. Turns out, not every adult in the world is a danger to youth and young adults. 

In fact, the presence of adults in a mixed ages community can do great good. In particular, it has been shown that there are less instances of bullying between those under 18 when there are adults there to stop this. Adults in the community can also step in when they see red flags in behaviors between other adults and minors. It may sound strange, but the presence of adults who look down on that behavior can be a deterrent to those who would do that. 

I guess what I’m saying is that not only do I feel this trend to be problematic in its isolation of adults in fandom and it’s widening of the breech between the generations, but I find it to be one of the things that encourage minors to cry wolf so often. I will always believe the victim over the attacker. Many of my friends have been those victims. That’s why we need to be more careful and honest about what constitutes that kind of abuse.

If you ask for something while shopping, he says no, but eventually circles back and adds it to the cart. (he means it, but is too weak to follow through).

Sukuna's favorite kind of date is when you're alone together. It's nice to be out and around people, but he's always at his happiest when it's just you and him. He's such a softie at heart. A perfect date is just to be held by you. Sukuna is an advocate for big boys who are little spoons. Relating back to how he's never had a healthy relationship before, sometimes it's nice to be the one feeling safe and protected.

He loves it when you do his hair (even if you're just playing in it). If you learn how to fix his fade, he'll never go anywhere else for a haircut again. (Guys, he's codependent and in denial about it). Keeps the top in braids or twists most of the time because he can't commit to dreads.

Got a tongue piercing and didn’t tell you until you asked why he was talking funny. and yes, he only got it to eat pussy better.

Asks you to go on study dates during finals season, and actually tries to study. Sukuna supports your GPA, until he gets bored and hungry and you're his favorite meal.

Sukuna loves his car, and driving it too fast. Plus you look cute in the passenger seat. Asks for head every time you go somewhere together (even if you're the one behind the wheel?), but it's just a running joke at this point because he's already a scary driver and doesn’t need extra distractions.

Begrudgingly, gives you the princess treatment. "You need to wear this shit when I drive or you’ll go through the windshield," as he buckles your seatbelt. or if he’s tying your shoes, he bitches about how you never do it right. In reality, he likes taking care of you, but he makes little excuses for anything sweet he does.

Sukuna has some anger issues, so I’m being so corny and cliche, but you’re his peace. Nothing makes him calmer than your thumb running over his cheek as he counts the colors in your eyes. So whenever you’re pissed at him, he gets all, “My girl’s mad at me. I wanna die.”

I can’t picture him being upset with you, because nothing is ever your fault. That’s not to say he won’t get pissed about other things, but the anger is just never directed at you. It’s not your fault when you flirt with guys to make him jealous, because it’s part of your personality, which he loves. Clearly that stranger should’ve known you’re in a committed relationship.

I fully believe (I'm biased) that he wants a girl with curls. He's a hairpuller and loves how your thick hair grips his hand back. If he can’t have his hands in your hair, he’s cupping the back of your neck as he kisses you.

Hooper (catch him on March madness). Football is a meathead sport, our man plays basketball. You're the first one Sukuna wants to see after a game, either to celebrate or lean on. He's all sweaty and gross and manhandles you into his arms, asking if he made you proud.

You will never meet his family, probably doesn't like them, but he's dying to meet yours. It's a weird combination of needing to meet the other people you love but freaking out because what if they hate him. Too scared to talk to your parents and older relatives, but the kids like his tattoos.

Speaking of that, aside from the obvious, Sukuna also has a tattoo of a heart you drew behind his ear. He also has his ears pierced and a labret piercing, trust.

A whore before he met you, as most male athletes are, but he shaped up real quick. Sukuna’s not a cheater because he wouldn't commit unless he meant it. You're it for him.

Just a little rant from a worried fan

I was talking to my sister earlier and we agreed that S probably got preggo deliberately. In this time and for a woman of her economic status, position, education, and age, it's technically impossible to actually get pregnant by accident. I mean we know that sometimes the methods fail but there's always a next day emergency pill if you really aren't planning to start a family or had expressed talked it out with your partner. It seems extremely odd they were broken up for the 4th time and suddenly she gets pregnant. That’s not only suspicious but worrying. Some women are dangerous like that when they are decided to stay with someone even if things don’t work. They have this checklist in their mind of getting married or starting a family before certain age and they don’t stop until they get it. I think you pointed out that she couldn’t afford getting pregnant when her body is her job and is where her income comes from but maybe she is a really damaged person.

Gonna share a story: One time I walked in on my ex-sister-in-law pinching holes on her boyfriend’s condoms with a needle cause she was decided that they were gonna get married. She was freaking punching hole in the condoms he had on his wallet! I ran from that family as fast as I could. Didn’t last more than another month with my then boyfriend cause I didn’t trust him after seeing his sister pulling some crap like that on the poor guy. I’m not saying S would do something like that, but I wouldn’t put it past her with her toxic possessive posts and comments. Between that and her weird attitude towards the pregnancy/miscarriage subject either she tried to get pregnant, and she didn’t and faked it all or maybe she did get pregnant and lost it but either way she doesn’t seem that affected. I know people deal with trauma differently but as a woman I seriously can’t understand how you went through something so traumatic like that and still sell your body image as if nothing had happened.

Life gave C a way out when/if they really lost that baby and he would be very stupid not to take the chance and run as fast as he can from that toxic situation. I honestly won’t be surprised at all if in a few months she announces either their engagement or a new unplanned pregnancy. Mark my words.

And finally, it is sad and incredible how much C’s expression changes when he hangs out with the people he actually enjoys spending time with, and how miserable he looks with her. That last TT on the joint account apart from being completely idiotic was dangerous. Doesn’t she know she shouldn’t be distracting him while driving? She is a really stupid person for putting them both at risk for a stupid video that won’t even get the attention she wanted.

I have a headcanon that it's part of demonic nature to try and corrupt humans. Though I think it would be unlikely that the brothers would try to intentionally corrupt MC post-pact, it's still like second nature to them. That means they may try to unintentionally, uh… infect their soul with sin and drag them down into eternal damnation! They don't mean it, but be careful MCs of the world.

One of the hardest things to do can be to make others take pride in themselves… but Lucifer is always ready for a challenge.

The name of the game is praise. The human mind can be easy to manipulate so with enough praise even the most stubborn human will start to believe a drop of their own hype.

Building up pride is a steady thing... He'll usually pick a strength or talent of the MC to give high praise. Perhaps they sing beautifully or they're rather clever, don't worry. He'd let them know.

Light sprinkles of praise steadily increase their self-esteem, which may seem nice and almost healthy at first, but in truth he's laying a trap… He knows how effective his words can be and he's just waiting for them to go to the MC's head.

You think then he would be done right? Oh no. That's not the fun part. What's fun is to then offend that pride he's spent so long building.

He thinks it's cute, really. A small comment here or a little condensation there and they'll get so mad. It's just so amusing!

Of course, he can't take what he dishes, so they'll need to watch out. But don't worry he loves them, even if they're just a little too fun to play with…

Mammon

Since when does the Avatar of Greed give gifts?

Really, that should be the MC's first red flag. Mammon isn't known for generosity, so when he's spending what little money he can hold onto on them, it's time to raise some eyebrows.

It may seem nice, almost sweet, when he manages to track down a rare vintage of wine for them or take them out to a ritzy restaurant for the night but unfortunately it's all just part of the plan…

Nobody has tastes higher than Mammon. He can't afford them most of the time, which leads to compromises, but given all the Grim in the world he'd be living in the lap of luxury - which is exactly the kind of lifestyle he wants the MC to crave too.

Anyone, no matter how modest, can give into temptation. How easy would it be to taste the sweetest wine or enjoy the most wonderful trip then want to do it again? It may seem innocent at first, but piling on the finer things can soon have the MC craving for them when they pass.

Then all Mammon needs is to make little promises, "If I make it big this time, then we'll go to France!" or, "If I win this next hand then I'll buy ya another glass." 

So how many times will the MC give Mammon a pass, then? Will they stop questioning how he comes up with his cash? Will they let him gamble just that "little bit" longer? Will they even join him...?

If they keep getting that taste of luxury, then maybe it's not so bad… right?

Leviathan 

You think the easiest way to get the MC jealous would be to flirt with other people since that's how most people go about it but, uh… 

This is Levi we're talking about. Casual flirting is pretty much out of the question.

So what is a demon to do to get their hapless human jealous? The answer is, be patient.

No one's perfect, humans especially! They'll slip up eventually… 

Maybe someone from back home just got a new car or they're sending out marriage invites. 

Maybe they have a friend who's better than them at school or sports or there's just someone who has something they want: Money, talent, looks, followers, friends, you name it. When they see it, he can feel that envy creeping in…

From there, all he has to do is feed it. Let the world poke at their little insecurities for him while he plays the supportive boyfriend!

"Did Mammon really get the promotion? I thought it would have been you! That's so unfair..."

"Satan beat your scores again? What is this, the third time? Doesn't that suck?"

Small little comments… but all with a goal to fill the MC with toxicity...

"Are Asmo videos still doing better than yours? I think I know how to drop his numbers... if you want."

And soon enough, anyone can be an enemy. Everyone has it better than them… so they push the world away in order to feel better. And they become so toxic, the world rejects them in turn...

Except, of course, for their loving boyfriend, Levi.

Satan

If you want to keep someone mad, it's best if you're not the actual one doing it.

I know, it sounds counterintuitive, but turning yourself into the enemy risks the target cutting you out. Satan knows this, so he'll never enrage the MC directly...

But indirectly? There's a start.

Everybody has little pet peevs. Tiny things that aren't important, but dig under the skin nonetheless.

Breadcrumbs in the butter, gum-smacking, toe-tapping, tones of voice, or just little annoying inconveniences that can sour one's day...

Satan is well-versed in these tiny annoyances, he'd dare say they're in his domain. And, perspective that he is, he'll know what frustrates the MC soon enough.

Then it's just a matter of execution.

Maybe he jacks with their toothpaste tube or "conveniently" forgets where they put their books... Or they keep mysteriously finding fingerprints on their game disks or seemingly can't keep their room organized to save their life!

It may just seem like the world hates them... but really it's just their demonic lover.

These tiny details and little mishaps will just build and build like cracks in their foundation until it all breaks and comes crashing down… and he'll be right there egging on every moment of it!

Asmodeus 

You would think that Asmo would have the easiest time tempting the MC into his sin, but that's not so.

Sure, most traditional definitions of Lust begin and end at carnal desire, but what about those MCs who maybe aren't so drawn to the sins of the flesh? Fear not! Because the keyword for Asmo is desire.

Really, Asmo is happy if the MC's mind is full of nothing but him. He wants them to desire him, to love him obviously, but to the point of obsession. His heated kisses and sensual whispers are only means to that end, which can change whenever he needs.

The MC will have their life bombarded by their beautiful demon. It's not an unwelcome smothering, he's among the best boyfriends they could ever hope to have, which is exactly why he’s so effective!

He wants them to need him at every moment. Soon it will feel weird to go places alone without their demon… Certain things they could do themselves, like their hair or getting dressed, they'll want him to do instead.

Of course, if he's able then he'll certainly seduce them as well and at every chance he gets! From the House to RAD and even in the throne room - he's shameless!... But that's the fun, isn't it?

Beelzebub 

Oh Beel… He's probably the most dangerous one of them all. Not because he's so demonic, but because he's so sweet!

When Beel makes food for the MC or orders them an extra side, he does so with love. He just wants them to be full! ...or so he thinks.

Beel's demonic instincts creep up on even him, he's just not one to really question what or why he does things sometimes. He'll know he has the urge to see the MC eat or just be indulgent… but he won’t know why.

You could actually say it works to his advantage. Whenever he offers the MC another turkey leg or a few more bites of cake, his tenderhearted insistence is often so sweet that they'll just go along with it and try to keep eating… even if they're already full.

Now, the human body can only take so much food at once, but over time it can adapt to changing habits.

Eventually, the MC will find their appetite expanding to catch up… They'll stop feeling full as easily as they used to and soon the bigger portions that Beel gives them will be all but a necessity!

Of course, the worst case scenario is that this doesn't happen at all and they do serious harm to their health by always pushing past their limits… but there's no guarantee Beel's solution won't just be more food anyway.

Belphegor 

Belphie is the only brother who will knowingly (and gleefully) try to make the MC as sinful as he is!

It's all for selfish reasons. If the MC is slothful, then they'll want to go out less and (probably) spend time with him more. Win-win if you're Belphie.

Since he's well aware of what he's doing, he's pretty damn effective at it. No other brother will be as committed to meddling with the MC as he is.

He'll convince them to cancel plans or sabotage their alarms so they oversleep. He'll suddenly be unable to sleep without them while his naps seemingly get longer and longer… And if they have something to do, he'll be the voice in their ear saying it can wait!

Really, at any opportunity he can get Belphie will try to drag them down or slow their progress with the sweet, sweet promise of relaxation or a good time...

Sure, it may sound nice at the time - great even! - but it won't take long for their promises to break or deadlines to pile up… Sure, the MC could try to catch up but wouldn't that be too much work? Wouldn't they rather rest instead? Why even worry about it?

It's a seductive line of thought and Belphie sells it well, it'd take only the most motivated MC to resist his charms but like that'd stop him. If he wants the MC for himself, he'll happily put their life on hold to do so. Just go with it... yeah?

Reminders

Wrong place wrong time or was it wrong place right time in your case you weren’t so sure. You didn’t mean to hear it but maybe it was for the best or maybe it wasn’t.

“I mean she needs to give me space Urban and stop being so attached to me. I need my own space as well at times.” You overheard Jack telling Urban.

You didn’t mean to eavesdrop but your heart told you to stay and listen and that’s what you did.

“I mean Jack at the end of the day maybe she just wants your attention and love you know Y/N’s past.” Urban questioned.

“I know Urban I love Y/N I do but sometimes I just wanna be able to breathe without her being attached to my hip.” Jack stated while running his hands through his curls.

You immediately turned around and left his show without telling anybody just decided on some excuse to give Jack. Once you got home you put on your pajamas and curled into your bed and put your phone on do not disturb.

You were woken by the noise of the front door opening knowing it was Jack and Urban. You heard footsteps coming upstairs.

“Y/N baby girl ?” Jack said softly trying to see if you were up or not.

You mumbled a yes trying to make it come off as he had woken you up.

“Why didn’t you tell anybody you were leaving baby ? We looked for you everywhere and you didn’t answer my calls or texts?” He stated.

“I was just feeling a bit sick and just needed to go home.” You lied while trying to hold back tears.

“I’m sorry baby just get some rest.” He said while kissing your head as he got up to go get changed.

You felt weird by the way he was acting cause just not to long ago he was basically calling you clingy and how he needed his space but now he’s the one wanting your attention. You really blame your ex for the reason you are like this now he constantly called you clingy and that you got attached to fast and you believed that it was a toxic trait and tried your best to work on it but it’s just how you are.

The next day you got up and got ready like always just trying to push back what happened yesterday to the back of your mind. When you felt arms sneak around your waist and pull you back into their embrace.

“Good morning mamas” jack said while kissing your neck. You immediately tensed up which he noticed but said nothing of but let you go regardless.

You went about your day cleaning the apartment and just trying to avoid Jack as much as you could until you remembered you guys had dinner reservations tonight.

“Baby you ready for tonight ?” Jack stated as he looked at you smiling.

“Uh you think we could pass on tonight I’m still kinda not feeling well.” You stated while trying to avoid his gaze. Jack knew something was up and decided to address it.

“What’s up with you Y/N ? You tensed up when I kissed you earlier and you keep avoiding me and can’t even look me into my eyes.” He said.

“Yeah well I’m just doing you a favor and giving you your space like you told Urban I’m too clingy so I’m giving you space.” You stated.

Jack instantly felt guilty.

“Baby please I’m sorry I’ve just been stressed I didn’t mean any of that mamas please believe me. If anything you not talking to me and ignoring me is killing me.” He stated while holding your hand.

“Please forgive me mamas” he said.

“I forgive you Jack but the next time you say some shit like that again I’m not talking to you for weeks.” You said while Jack started laughing but pulled you in for a kiss.

“Understood babe.”
