I have this angsty haikyuu request if you’re alright with writing it

So (name) has a crush on Ryu but the problem is that Ryu doesn’t return the feelings for (name) instead Ryu has his heart set on kiyoko which would send (name) in a unrequited love situation and trying to forget and get rid of his feelings for Ryu even though it pains him to see Ryu being happy with someone else. (name) knows he and Tanaka would never be together he struggles with dealing with it

The sound of volleyballs hitting the gym floor filled the gym. Sugawara frowned softly at site of his oldest friend looking so upset. (Name) had asked Tanaka if he wanted to hang out after practice, unfortunately he was ignored again.

Sugawara slowly placed a hand on his shoulder. "Why do you keep doing this to yourself?" (Name) didn't answer, just stared as the male he's grown to love, chase after the other manager. (Name)'s heart breaking more and more. He'd grown to love the rowdy male with everything he has.

Sugawara sighed and softly grabbed (Name)'s arm. Pulling him away slowly. Trying to get him away from the scene. Most of the other players watched in pity. Except Tsukishima who huffed and rolled his eyes. He was gettig sick of tired of the situation. Everyone knew how (Name) felt about Tanaka. Well everyone except Tanaka apparently.

He was tired of seeing this everyday. So when practice finished Tsukishima made his way over to where (Name) was picking up the volleyballs. "Why do you keep chasing that idiot? We all know he doesn’t like you back. So why? Why keep trying when you know you won't succeed?" (Name) dropped the volleyball and stared at him.

(Name) opened and closed his mouth a few times, but didn't say anything. He turned and looked at the said male who was chasing after Kiyoko. Yet again. (Name) sighed and looked back at the male in front of him. "I don't know. I've liked him for so long. I honestly don't know."

Tsukishima sighed. "Well find someone else to fawn over then. I'm tired of seeing this everyday. Just move on already." (Name) flinched and looked down. Playing with his shirt. "Move on to who? Nobody would want to be with me." Tsukishima frowned more before sighing. "I-I like you."

(Name) froze. Had he heard that right? "What?" "I said, I like you idiot." (Name) looked so confused. "Why?" Tsukishima blushed and looked away. "I just do!" (Name) frowned. "That isn't an answer Tsukishima." Tsukishima clicked his tounge and took a deep breath. "Y-You're a good guy." (Name) held his breath. "You're always helping the idiots. You don't give up on them, even if others tell you to."

"You always have a smile and you always make my day better. You've helped me find a reason to enjoy volleyball. You make me enjoy playing and you make me not want to give up." (Name)'s eyes filled with tears. By now the whole gym was watching. Tsukishima pulled (Name) into a hug, and whispered into his ear. "So give me a chance please?"

Its been a month since (Name) and Tsukishima got together. Almost everyone was happy for them. Well everyone except Tanaka.

As a laughing (Name) entered the gym, Tsukishima followed behind him. An arm wrapped around his waist and a soft smile on his face. Sugawara entered behind the two clutching his sides. The other third and first years followed through. The second years had already been in the gym. It looked like they were having a great time.

So why does Tanaka's heart hurt so much seeing how happy his is? Noya raced towards the new happy couple. Jumping around the two. Momentarily frightening (Name) who stumbled back into his boyfriend. Sugawara started laughing again along with everyone else. Tanaka couldn't move his eyes fro the scene.

When was the last time (Name) even talked to him? Much less even looked in his direction. Tanaka frowned. Grabbing at the shirt were his heart was. His chest ached at the scene. Tanaka went to talk to (Name), but was interupted when his uncle grabbed (Name) by the back of his shirt.

Kenshin gave Tsukishima a look to release his nephew. Which he reluctantly did, not wanting to run laps. Like he had to do last time he refused to give up his boyfriend. (Name) laughed at his boyfriends pouting face. He was so glad he gave the taller male a chance. He was so happy, the most happiest he's ever been.

Tanaka watched the scene with pain filled eyes. Ennoshita gripped his shoulder softly. "I kept telling you to stop ignoring him, and to give him a chance. Look where that got you. Kiyoko is dating Yachi. (Name) got with Tsukishima. This was your own fault you know." Then Ennoshita made his way over to the group and ruffled (Name)'s hair. Earning a groan and pout from the said male.

Tanaka thought for a moment. If he had given (Name) a chance, could he had made him this happy? Would (Name) still light up the gym with his smile and laugh? Tanaka's frowned deepened and he looke away from the scene. He should be happy, so why is he so sad and hurt?

"I should have packed lunch today, this sucks." Your best friend nods when she sees your soggy french fries.

"That bald guy is staring at you again." She slurps her yogurt tube in a few seconds. You look around and sure enough that second year was looking at you again.

You're in your third year now, according to Sugawara the 'bald' kid's name is Tanaka, and it's said he has a huge crush on Kiyoko.

"Probably thinks my makeup is weird like everyone else does." He notices you looking and turns away to his short friend... it's Nishi something.

"Or maybe he likes you." You roll your eyes while she wiggles her eyebrows.

"Yeah right, it's obvious he likes Kiyoko." She cringes when you eat a mouthful of soggy fries.

"He might be using Kiyoko as a cover up." You weren't going to keep waiting for him to say why he's always being creepy so you walk over to his table.

"Why are you always staring at me?" His short friend giggles and turns away.

"Staring- me huh?" His face flushes as he stammers for words.

"Yes, is it my makeup? I know it's not normal but starting is really rude." Out of the corner of your eye you can see his friend covering his mouth to try and conceal his snickering.

"Ah- it's not like that! I think your makeup is unique and I think you're really cool!" He blurts out and his friend bursts into laughter.

"Noya shut up!" He elbows him.

"Really? Is this some kind of joke?" He notices your hand on your hip.

"No! C-can we be friends?" His voice sounds like a shy little kid.

"Um... sure?" There has to be some hidden motive behind this...

"Got anything else to tell her, Ryu?" The short fry wiggles his eyebrows.

"Nishinoya I will end-"

"I'm gonna go finish my lunch." Tanaka starts stammering again when you start to walk away.

"Could um... could I get you dinner sometime? AS FRIENDS THOUGH!" He suddenly adds.

"Yeah anytime." He smiles, and you skip back to your table.

"Is that all?" You ask politely scanning his cart to see if he's got anything else.

He nods his head yes, "Your total is 870 yen, how would you like to pay?" He hands you 1,000 yen, like he does every time.

"Keep the change." You sigh and look for change.

"That's too much of a tip." Yamaguchi (as you've learned from your uncle), comes in maybe three times a week for the same thing and tries to leave you a huge tip.

"Your hair's really pretty." He notioned to the style you were going for today, you think it brings out your makeup.

"Keishin says I look like a rebellious punk." You giggle right along with Yams.

"It's Uncle Keishin to you, brat! You're lucky to even be getting paid!" Yamaguchi quietly snickers because you rolled your eyes mimicking your uncle. Once everything's bagged up you hand it to him.

"Bye, Yams." He takes the bag, and holds still like a statue.

"Something wrong?"

"When'll you be back to work here again?" There's this look in his eyes that you can't quite determine.

"When ever I get back from school, I can't take a lot of breaks or I'll get behind on my assignments." He frowns.

"Hey, not my fault I'm a college student." You shrug.

"I really wish I could go with you to ward off all the weirdos who think gyaru isn't cool." He's an adorable little third year.

"Gyaru's not for everyone. I get hateful comments all the time, but they don't bother me that much anymore." It's the hard truth, you cannot force people to like you.

"Well can I take you out when you get back?" Oh, he's real brave today. Not once has he asked something remotely as obvious as this.

You can tell he likes you, that much was clear. This is the first time he's been straightforward with you though.

"You can take me out when I get off of work." You lean over the counter and press your glossy lips to his cheek. When you pull away you can see a faint mark of lip gloss from your lips.

"Go on to school now, Yams." He spirals at your smirk and walks out like a drunken man.

You're bonked on the head with newspaper, "Do your job and stop flirtin' so much!"

"Don't take your frustration out on me, I know you don't get any Keishin." He grumbles at your laughter.

"It's Uncle Keishin."

"Kogane! I'm so going to beat your ass!" Your threat echoes through the gym and no one makes the effort to save him.

"I didn't mean to mess up your makeup and hair, please forgive me!!" He whines.

The idiot thought it'd be funny to spray you with his water bottle, long story short he got a little heavy handed with the pouring.

You raise your fist to hit him but you're stopped by a hand much bigger than yours. A low grunt can be heard and you turn around to see Aone holding your wrist.

"He deserves it! Let go!" He thinks his grip is too tight, so he loosened it.

"H-here." He hands you his team jacket.

"Thank you, Aone. That is so sweet." He nods.

"Um I know how important your clothing and hair are to you." At first you can't tell if he's being genuine or a goody two shoes.

"Um... gyaru right? I thought it was super weird awhile back." At least he was honest.

"How'd you know?" You most likely already know the answer.

"w-well, this is, uh... hah, it's... quite a surprise..." the freckled, olive-haired boy murmured with a smile, the corners of his lips shaking as you gazed up at him with widened eyes. he couldn't take his own eyes off you, not only because of how adorable you look so close to him, but because if he looked at his seniors' faces now, he just knew he'd be encouraged to carry on the mistletoe tradition, all for wanting to help you get more towels for the team after their practice.

nishinoya and tanaka were very supportive seniors, after all; they knew yamaguchi was a boy you found cute for quite a while, so they encouraged you not to be afraid, it's just a kiss, is all... right?

yamaguchi dared not to move as the team gathered around you both, with hinata not really sure of why yamaguchi was so reluctant to leave. tsukishima, as always, explained the tradition of being under the mistletoe to him and kageyama. "basically, yamaguchi needs to kiss them, or else..." "o-or else what? a ghost will remain in the closet?!" "or an evil spirit that will make us lose the next matches?!"

tsukishima found their ignorance regarding this tradition laughable. "no, actually, nothing will happen–apart from noya and tanaka most probably teasing yamaguchi about it, but oh well, so is life," the blonde explained, looking at yamaguchi with a straight face, while the latter was absolutely terrified.

"we... don't have to kiss if you don't want to, yamaguchi..." "i-it's not that, i-i... i... kind of don't mind y'know, i-i just... i'd like to... do it in private," the boy stuttered, getting shier and shier with every word he spoke. "o-only if you want to, of course!" yamaguchi stammered, awkwardly chuckling as you stared at him, making his brain go haywire.

you eventually agreed, and, closing the closet door–you leaned against yamaguchi; your hands gently wrapped around his, your eyes looking up into his own. "are you ready?" you asked him in a whisper. yamaguchi's entire face was like a strawberry right now, he was red and spotted with his darling freckles, but being in the dark made it hard for you to notice.

"i've... never actually kissed anyone else... s-so..." "that's okay," you reassure him, placing your hand on his cheek. "i'll show you..." you muttered, leaning closer to him. yamaguchi's eyes shone with adoration for you, and he nodded; you could tell in a way that this boy was excited for your kiss, even if it made him incredibly flustered.

with that, you pressed your lips against his softly, and against your kiss, he let out a soft noise–a noise letting you know that this kiss... was more than he could ever ask for, was perfect, beyond perfect.

after the kiss, nishinoya, tanaka, and surprisingly, sugawara were frustrated they didn't get to see you kiss. sugawara was late to the party and didn't even know you two were in the closet kissing for a short while until ennoshita gave him a rundown of the events at hand; of course, mama sugawara is very supportive of his children's romantic affairs, so long as it was contained.

"so... how'd it go?" the gray haired senior asked you both, with you smiling and holding yamaguchi's hand, leaning your head against his shoulder, making the boy jolt up and get red all over again. "...was perfect..." yamaguchi mumbled out, melting into a puddle in his mind as you made him feel all giddy, with butterflies in his chest at the feeling and realization that he kissed you–or more like, you kissed him, and it couldn't be any better.

If someone said to you 30 min ago that you would be locked together in the small, small broom room with Kageyama, you would laugh in their faces. But it seems that life has a funny way of working because that's the exact situation you find yourself in.

See, you're not some kind of genius or clairvoyant to know why things happen, but if Noya and Tanaka’s malicious laugh that you managed to hear before a body was basically thrown against yours and everything went dark would serve as a clue, then you think you have an idea.

“Hm… S-so...” Oh yes. The main problem at the moment. For more than one reason, actually.

"Don't worry, Kageyama-san. I'm sure that someone sooner or later will get us out of here... hahah... I hope…” It's not like you thought this was the worst situation in the world, on the contrary, you slept imagining your dear freshman, who you may or may not have a crush on, doing the famous kabedon on you at least three nights, the only difference is that well... not in the tiny broom closet.

Oh, here's another hint as to why this may happe- “S-Senpai... Please stop moving so much.."

“Ah! Sorry, Kageyama-san!” You try to make your body more upright, but you only end up headbutting his chin. “S-Sorry!!" You squirm even more, and his hand, which was on the side of your head, moves to squeeze your waist. You don't know if this is the heaven's blessing or punishing you.

“Ahg… Senpai!” He kind of made a weird sound now... When you look at him, the sliver of light passing through the door illuminates his face so red that you worry. Ignoring how handsome he looks at this angle, you focus on desperately cursing the two idiots who put you in this situation in the first place. If before you thought he hated you, now you are sure.

You've never been close to the youngest, even though he's never left your mind since he saved you from getting hit in the face in front of the entire volleyball team, you're sure he doesn't feel the same. Every time you tried to talk to him about something, he would just stare at you with a red face before walking away.

It must be because of your feelings, he probably feels uncomfortable being around you. You were sure you're discreet, but apparently it was pretty obvious, if even the two goofballs found out even though you never talked to them about it.

"Sorry, Kageyama-san... You must be hating this.”

“E-Eh? No! Ah- I mean, no… I just never did this before…” He takes a deep breath and looks at you before continuing to speak. "Look, I have been trying to tell you this… That… I really-”

“It’s fine, Kageyama-san, I get it. You hate me, right? It's totally fine, you don't have to force yourself to-”

“W-what?? No! Just listen to me a bit-”

“It's okay! Really! Totally fine and-”

You're interrupted by him holding your face firmly in his hands, eyes looking so serious and desperate that you don't have the courage to say anything else. Wait... His face has always been so close to yours?!

“I've been trying to tell you this…” His lips whisper just above yours, eyes fixed on you as if asking for permission. There's only a second of silence where neither of you move before your lips meet his at the same time.

Like a moment of epiphany, your body seems to fly and the only thing holding you to the ground is his hands on your body. Even if the kiss was a mess of teeth and tongue, you wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. His hand on your face moves back to your waist and hugs you closer to him.

You wrap your arms around his neck and end up accidentally biting his lip slightly. “Ahg, Senpai…”

“Tobio..." You only pull away when you're completely out of breath. You stare at each other for a moment with wide eyes before kissing again. The movements that were once desperate and frantic are now slow and steady, trying to hold on to every second of the moment.

You part with his lips and move to his neck, giving it a light kiss before lightly grazing your teeth against the skin there.

“Tobio… Is this okay?”

“Yeah, that— that’s okay. Please— keep going.”

You knew that when you got home, you would scream into your pillow thinking about where you got the courage to do this, but at the moment, your mind could only think about him, his lips, his touch.

Your lips suck at the skin just enough to form a shy red, and your tongue soothes the irritated skin when you pull away.

When you lift your face to kiss him again, the door is suddenly opened.

“RIGHT!! the two lovebirds had their time~ ARGHH! What is this vulgar scene?!?!! Noya-san, close your eyes!!”

You really feel like killing these two.

-Last Time-

“Hinata, you little squirt! Don’t butt in like that!! You totally ruined my chance to say something cool!!!” You giggle at them. The whistle is blown indicating the start of the next rally.

The Municipal Team serves and Ennoshita receives the ball. He calls for cover from Kageyama while Ukai thinks about how everybody needs to work on bumps and passing. Kageyama runs to get into position to set along with Hinata coming to his spot.

‘Hm. He figured out quickly where the ball would be coming down. First step is confident and correct.’ Ukai thinks about Kageyama. ‘This setter’s supposed to be a rookie, right? So. Who’s he going to use…’ Ukai’s thought is answered as he sees Hinata jump.

Ukai, Takinoue, Shimada, Ashai, and Noya stare at Hinata. They are shocked by how fast and high he can jump. Hinata hits the ball and earns his team a point.

“Yeah!! Nice one, Hinata! Kageyama!” Tanaka praises.

Noya, Asahi, and Ukai are left with their mouths agape. Suga is looking at Asahi and Noya expectantly, while Takeda is looking at Ukai the same way. You have a look of pride as you see their reactions.

“Whoa!! Shoyo, that was awesome!! So awesome even I couldn't help but stop and stare!” Noya praises excitedly as the first-year blushes.

‘There were no hand signs. No verbal cues. And they still…?!’ Ukai thinks before speaking. “Hey, you!!” He yells causing Hinata to flinch and he and Kageyama to look at the coach. “Why did you jump where you did?! How did you know?! Short Stuff!”

“Short…?” Hinata begins. “Well… I just jump wherever I want, because the ball always comes wherever I am. Coach.”

‘...!! My eyes don’t wanna believe it, but I know I saw it. When Short Stuff jumped, his eyes were closed. Are you telling me that rookie setter was able to match his set to his movements that perfectly?!’ Ukai is shocked. ‘And how can he be so completely sure the ball is always going to be there? What normal player can trust so much that he’ll jump and swing totally blind?’

“YOU TWO FREAKS OR SOMETHIN’?!” Ukai yells at Hinata and Kageyama.

“Freaks…?” They respond simultaneously. Tsukishima chuckles.

“Why?” Hinata asks.

“Don’t ask me.” Kageyama replies.

“At first I didn’t get what that whole conversation right before the game was about…” Ukai begins, getting you and Takeda’s attention. “But…I think I see now. So that rookie setter’s likely a prodigy of some sort. Compared to a player like him…the normal slobs have to feel inferior. But… A set and a spike happen in less time than a single breath.” He continues as the game resumes. “Players need a whole lot of hours working together to get that kind of timing down. Faith like that isn’t something you can build in a day. So if we say what our rookie setter has is overwhelming talent… then what his senior there has is years of trust and stability.” He observes each of the players before beginning again. “This Karasuno team is pretty dang good!” 

‘Took you long enough.’ You think with a chuckle.

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner, sensei?” Ukai asks Takeda with a pat on the back, while you roll your eyes.

“I did. Multiple times.”

The game continues with Ukai’s attention refocusing on Hinata.

“Who woulda thought short stuff would be a middle blocker just from looking? He’s got a mean quick attack… but how’s his blocking?” Hinata is standing by the net getting ready to block. Asahi is standing across from him and notices his intense stare. This makes Ashai avert his gaze. 

“Oh, come to think of it, this game is Hinata’s first chance to play against the ace position that he’s idolized so much.” Takeda points out.

“Hm?”

“Well, you see, Hinata’s idol is a player called “The Little Giant.” He was someone who played during Karasuno’s golden age. That’s why he chose to attend Karasuno, too. He is always giving his best, saying that someday he’s going to be an ace too. And now in this game, Hinata gets to face off with Karasuno’s current reigning Ace!”

“Now isn’t that neat. Though from this angle, it looks a lot like a grown man playing an elementary kid.” Ukai replies. This makes you slightly laugh as you look at the two. You see Suga uses a hand signal for Asahi. ‘Probably telling him the kind of set he’s going to use.’ You think.

Hinata looks at Asahi with such concentration that it’s a bit scary. Karasuno serves and Noya receives it, passing it to Suga. Suga sets it to Ashai. ‘A shoot.’ You think. Asahi jumps and gets ready to spike but is surprised when he sees Hinata in front of him in the air, ready to block.

‘He popped up out of nowhere!!’ Asahi thinks.

Asahi spikes the ball and it hits Hinata’s hand with great force. The ball ricotes off of Hinata’s hand and goes behind him. Daichi and Tsukishima run to save the ball from hitting the ground but neither make it in time. The ball hits the floor earning a point for the Municipal Team. Asahi watches as Daichi talks to Hinata.

“...I knew he could jump, but it’s really shocking to see him pop up right in front of my face like that. How high can he go?” Asahi says to himself.

“That was awesome!” Hinata says looking at his red and stinging hands. “And he hasn’t played for a month!” You smile fondly at the first year.

“Yo, Hinata!” Kageyama begins. “You’re using your hands wrong when you block! If you’re trying to stop them, your hands go like this!” He demonstrates. “See? Like this!” Hinata doesn’t pay attention to Kageyama because he’s too focused on watching Asahi. “Are you even listening to me, boke?!” Since Hinata still wasn’t paying attention, Kageyama started squeezing his head. ‘At least Kageyama tried helping him…’ You think.

“Kageyama, you’re going to hurt him…” You say worryingly. Kageyama stops squeezing Hinata’s head and just stares at him.

“Hey…” Kageyama begins but is interrupted by Hinata.

“Man, the Ace is awesome!! He can hit the ball so hard it doesn’t matter if there’s a block! It’s still gonna smash through and score a point!”

“...”

“? What?”

“Nothing.” Kageyama says walking away.

“?”

“We’re running out of time, so let’s dive right into the second set, everyone.” Daichi says. The game continues. Hinata starts staring at Asahi and gets lost in his thoughts.

‘...If I was as tall and strong as he is…then I could…Whoa whoa whoa!’ Hinata starts shaking his head. ‘Don’t think about that. The Little Giant was awesome and short too! Though he was taller than me. Still…’

“Asahi!!” Someone calls out for Asahi to spike.

‘That’s so cool…’

“?! Hinata!!” You and Daichi call out at the same time.

“Huh?” Hinata snaps out of it and sees the ball flying toward him. Before he could react, the ball hit him straight in the face, causing him to fly backward.

“?! That idiot!!” Kageyama yells.

“AAAA” Asahi yells, frightened.

“GAAAH!!” Tanka yells worriedly.

“HINATA!!!” You scream, quickly running over to him.

Nekoma and Fukuradani meet baby Haruto. Also Daichi being a (slightly) horny boy

^ Suga is the one with the headband, Asahi you could probably guess Daichi’s actor is the one with the beanie and Ennoshita is the guy who pops in

“Do we have everything?” Daichi asked looking between the three bags,” I say so, Daichi relax” you hummed, you looked down at Haruto who was peacefully drinking his milk while his father was slowly losing his mind.” Baby, this be our first time taking care of Haruto without my parents nearby, we be to busy with the matches to buy something new, so we need to pack everything in perfect quantity” he said kneeling in front of you rubbing Haruto’s head while he was feeding,” He’s still quite small, even though he eats regularly” Daichi said,” The doctor said, he’s healthy so no need to worry” you smiled at him, trying not to move too much so Haruto won’t be distributed that much. Daichi hummed and kissed his son’s head,” Also, I meet up with Michimiya and she found something very cute, look inside the closet and bring out the red bag” Daichi did as he was told, he opened up the red paper bag and a smile broke out on his face once he saw what was inside,” The team will love this” he chuckled,” I guess we need a bigger bag” he said grabbing a larger suitcase.

“Hello, there little troublemaker, ready for Tokyo?” Ukai asked in a baby tone looking at Haruto who was sucking at his pacifier. Meanwhile, Daichi was strapping him into the seat beside you,” Do you need help?” Suga asked after stuffing his back in the overhead debarment,” Yeah, I should be, ask me the same question in 5 minutes again” he chuckled, the car seat is brand new, bought just for the trip as Haruto's other seat was to difficult to take out of his parent's car,” Hey there Haruto” Tanaka said rubbing the boy's belly,” Kiyoko is looking so you better not start crying” he whispered making Haruto give him a side glance before focusing back on Coach Ukai and Takeda in front of him who were making faces at him, you looked at the instruction on your lap noticing something seeming off,” Emm Dai, I think you need to redo it?” Daichi lifted a brow,” Why?” he asked confused and slightly annoyed,” Because it says for children under 2 the seat needs to be facing the car seat” you said holding the instruction in front of his face”,” What?” he said taking the piece of paper of you,” Shit-”,” No swearing in front of the baby” you slapped his head,” Here taking him” Daichi said handing you the baby so he can readjust the seat,” Are you hungry?” you asked Haruto who was pulling at your shirt like his life depended on it,” Kiyoko, can you give the blanket? I need to feed him, saving you from a screaming banshee”,” Sure” Kiyoko handed you the blanket Michiymia made for you,” Does it hurt?” Noya asked popping up behind you,” It tickles at first but it's draining, I always need something to eat and drink afterwards” you said throwing the blanket over Haruto as he latched on,” Daichi, you better get going, we are leaving soon” Ukai said making Daichi groan,” Everyone please settle down, once Daichi finishes we are leaving” Takeda, you peaked under the blanket seeing Haruto’s brown orbs staring up at you, the more he drank the sleepier he seems to become,” How much do I beg to be in Haruto’s position” Daichi mumbled on his breath,” Win, the first match and you have the right” you whispered making Daichi’s cheeks heat up,” You beat I win” he mumbled giving you a wink,” Got it” he snapped his fingers happily,” We can drive, he won’t be finished for a while” you said to Ukai who gave you an unsure glance,” Got it” he thumps up. 

After finishing their first round of training in Tokyo and inspecting the opponent Daichi collapsed on the futon, he closed his eyes when he felt a small weight on top of him, he opened his eyes and saw Haruto laying on his chest,” Hey there buddy” he mumbled patting his head,” You don't seem to like Tokyo very much, you slept nearly the whole day” he teased making you giggle, your hair was slightly wet as you just came out the bathhouse,” Shouldn’t you be happy about that?” Yamaguchi asked sitting down beside him, gently caressing Haruto’s chubby cheek,” I am, as it wasn’t like that for a while, he would make up crying every 30 minutes” Daichi sighed carefully sitting up,” You put that on yourself” Tsukishima said, he was lying on his back,” Tsuki” Yamaguchi said kicking him slightly making the blond glare at him,” Well you might prepare yourself for that as he’s sleeping with us tonight” Daichi said in a serious tone,” But where? Wouldn't the futon be too hard for him?” Ennoshita asked worriedly,” With the baby futon he should be fine,” Daichi said making Ennoshita nod,” Ooh Haruto, we going ghost hunting today,” Tanaka said excitedly, laying on his stomach beside Daichi so he could make eye contact with the baby, Haruto just stared at him from between his father chest.  

Arriving at the stadium Daichi pulled you close as your received some weird looks from people,” Ignore them baby” he whispered in your ear patting your back,”I got good at that?”,” Look who we have here?” a deep voice teased from behind,” Finally got chance to see the real sky tree?” Kuroo asked with a smirk,” We did” Daichi answered looking up at his fellow Captain,” Well, well, well, don't tell me you're getting nervous my dear Daichi” he continued to tease,” I see you're talking to much as a sign of your nervousness Kuroo my friend” Daichi teased back making Kuroo’s smirk drop,” This must the little Haruto” Kuroo said turning to you and Haruto, who was peacefully sleeping inside of his baby sling, his pacifier slightly hanging out of his mouth,” He’s cute” Kai said walking up with the rest of the team,” He must have gotten it from you than” Kuroo teased once again,” He’s so small, just like a small cat” Lev said crouching down to get a better look at the sleeping infant,” Isn’t it too loud for him here?” Kai asked,” For that, we bought him these?” Daichi said pulling out a pair of soundproofed headphones,” That’s good, we don't want to damage his small eardrums” he caressed the baby's face gently making Haruto’s nose scrunch up slightly making Kai aww,” DID I HEAR BABY?” a voice shouted, you cringed at the voice and quickly looked down hoping Haruto was still asleep, the baby stirred and changed buried his head deeper into your chest but didn’t see to wake up,” Bokuto, keep your voice down” Akashi scolded,” But baby” Bokuto said pointing at the child,” Yes, exactly, you know how much effort  it takes to get a baby to sleep?” Bokuto shook his head and tippy-toed his way over to you,” This Haruto, he's just a little over a month old” you said readjusting Haruto a little bit,” So tiny, just like a small owl” he cooed,” It’s me, Bokuto your favourite Uncle”,” Listing man, we can't keep having this conversation” Suga began rolling up his sleeves but Daichi stopped him with an arm across his friend's chest,” Who will you be playing today?” Akashi asked as Nekoma and Bokuto fussed over the sleeping baby in your arms,” Tsubakihara Academy” Daichi answered not taking his eyes off you and his son,” Think you can take them?”,” We didn't come here to lose in our first match” Suga answered making Akashi smirk,” Good to hear, good luck than” Akashi said,” Bokuto, we need to warm up” Bokuto sighed, his hair dropping a bit, he gently grabbed Haruto’s hand and shook it,” Goodbye little owl” he said before walking away slowly,” I guess, we should warm up to. You better win your game Daichi” Kuroo patted Haruto’s head before leaving,” I will change him” you winked at Daichi making him nod,” Okay, let’s start our warm-up then” Daichi said.

Halfway through their warm up the team heard a small giggle making them stop what they were doing. They looked in the direction the giggle came from and saw you enter the room with an awake Haruto, who happened to be dressed in a crow costume,” Surprise boys” you smiled,” He’s so cute”,” Our own little mascot”,” We definitely will win now”, the boys said altogether,” So cute” Yachi gasped, her cheeks were red and voice got an octave higher,” Where did you get costume anyway?” Tsukishima asked trying to hide, the fact that he finds Haruto adorable inside the costume but you easily picked up on it,” Michmiya did, Dai always called him his little good luck charm, so why not make it official” you smiled,” Well I say mission accomplished” Ukai said taking Haruto off you,” We can use your cuteness as a distraction against the other team” he said gently pinching Haruto’s nose making him giggle,” No Karasuno team had a mascot before, so we defiantly have a win under our bag” Takeda said standing on his tiptoes to see Haruto better, who was currently chewing on the zipper of Ukai’s clothes,” Haruto, don't put that in your mouth, You don’t know the last time he washed it” you said grabbing the zipper out of his mouth and taking the baby back in your arms,” Hey” Ukai said,” Yachi, could you take him to the stands? I need to stay inside the court”,” Sure no problem” Yachi said gently taking Haruto off you,” Everything you need for him inside the bag, I feed him while changing him, so we should be fine for a hour, if he gets hungry there is a spare bottle of milk inside the bag” Yachi nodded at information,” I won't mind having him beside me” Ukai said about to reach for the boy but Yachi turned away from him making him frown,” Love the sentiment Coach but it be to dangerous, a ball could easily hit him” you said,”Fine, but once we finish I will hold him again”,” I haven’t hold him once, so it be ME.... I mean it is me Coach” Tanaka said,” You just want to impress me and Y/N,” Kiyoko said making tense up,” No of course not, okay maybe it’s a tiny reason why but just look at him, he’s wearing a crow costume. He's so cute” Tanaka said,” The cutest, just like his mother,” Noya said making you roll your eyes.

It seems to dress Haruto in a crow costume did give the boys motivation as even though the other team came close multiple times they took both sets home. “Congrats boys” you pecked Daichi’s sweaty cheek,” Do you know who were playing next?” Asahi asked as Daichi wrapped his arm around you while you handed out towels and water bottles to the others,” I heard it’s Inarizaki” Yachi said popping in from behind with Haruto in her arms,” Let me take him” Daichi said bur Yachi turned slightly,” No, you must be tired. I hold him” she said,”I can hold him” Tanaka said,” No, I can” Noya said pushing his friend aside moving with open arms towards Yachi who looks ready to fight for her life,” I’m his Godfather so let me take him” Suga said lowering Nora’s hands,”I could hold him as well” Asahi said quietly,” I want to hold him as well” Hinata said but Kageyama grabbed him by his collar,” You just drop him”,” I have a little sister, you be the one dropping him”,” No, I won’t”,” Yes, you would”,” No, I won’t” the began arguing,” What about us” Yamaguchi asked pulling Tsukishima forward,” I’m the most responisbal after Daichi, so I should be” Ennoshita said, Kinnoshita and Narita nodded but didn't say anything,”Shut it all of you” Ukai shouted making everyone quiet,”I hold him, you all shower and get dressed into something clean. We are having a meeting about our next opponents” Yachi reluctantly gave the baby over to the Coach,” I just saved it from rough Volleyball players” he said gently, Takeda rubbed the baby back with a soft smile,” It seems our son, stole the team's heart” you mused to Daichi, Daichi hummed smiling at his son was still surrounded by his teammates,” Just like his mom stole my heart” he teased,” Y/N, can you help us with the equipment?” Kiyoko asked,” Sure” you pecked Daichi’s cheek,” Please take a shower, you smell like road kill, all of you do,” you said scrunching up your nose as you heard some offended gasps behind you.

“I feed him” you held out your hands for Ukai to give you Haruto back,” Haruto isn't hungry, aren't you? You're fine” Ukai said but Haruto did grabby motions towards you with a cute little pout,” Fine” he sighed handing you the baby, who began pulling at your shirt. You walked into your room where Kiyoko and Yachi were casually talking,” got him back from the coach I see” Kiyoko giggled,” Are you feeding him?” Yachi asked,” Did you have much trouble with him?” you asked as you adjusted Haruto so he feed comfortably,” No, he was just a bit fussy a bit when I tried to feed him but after a while, he feed without a problem” Yachi smiled down at Haruto was happily drinking his milk,” Got many judgy stares?”,” Yeah, I don’t know how you do it”,” You get used to it” you grimaced,” Can I ask you something personal?” Yachi asked playing with her fingers,” Sure” you said wiping some milk from Haruto’s chubby cheek,” Did you see your parents again? Like do they know Haruto is born?” you bit your lips, you looked down at Haruto who slowly got druzy from the milk, he looked so cute,” No, they wouldn’t care anyway. They called me a whore when they found out and kicked me out for my choice. They made me choose, and in their eyes I choose wrong” you sighed,” I’m sorry for bringing it up” Yachi said blushing looking at the ground,” No, it’s fine. I don’t care about them anymore, I have Daichi and his parents and you guys of course” you smiled making the girls smile back at you,” He looks like a small drunk person” Kiyoko joked,” Daichi’s siblings said it as well”.

holy shit okay,,, so i actually have a whole procedure planned out for this + scoping out locations and route maps irl and learning how to hotwire a bus (ofc i only think about this a normal amount what are you talking about haha).

there's this huuuge supermarket that's located in the middle of nowhere so fewer zombies, so that would be the first place i hit to grab all the non-expiring canned food + high calorie stuff and a gas stove. and then since there's a bus parking space nearby i'd go there to steal one. buses are obviously the most safe option where i live because you can keep all your friends with you + luggage space + less damage when ramming into something. and then i'd go to this one statue place that's in the middle of a hugeass lake, and swim my way there since i'm assuming zombies won't be able to cover that big of a distance nor hear us from so afar. yada yada you get the gist of things lmao ksdjfnksjdf

anyways, i'd probably try to outlast the zombies without direct interaction, but if i run outta supplies or it seems like i'm going to get bitten or if it just gets too much, i'd probably try to take out as many zombies as possible with me lmao.

ooooh!!! i think i'm pretty flexible with the kind of people i like spending time with but some things i'd definitely prefer is someone who has a sense of humour (i laugh at everything and i love cracking jokes so this person should ideally enjoy the same haha), someone who is passionate and driven (it could be about anything in the world literally, i just love being able to support people's interests), someone who is kind (and i don't mean a goody two shoes, just someone with basic empathy and compassion), and someone who shares at least a couple of interests with me (could be animanga, reading, music, adventure, etc because i really love doing things together with people and just gushing for hours nonstop about some random thing).

"What's wrong with him today, Tadashi?", you asked with a concerned look in your eyes, observing your boyfriend fiercely packing his backpack.

"Emm… I think he is just a bit annoyed with Nishinoya-san and Tanaka-san. That's all", you can see he is not telling the truth, and it probably involves you, in one way or another, because he is trying so hard to avoid eye contact.

"Are you sure? I have never seen him being so angry".

"Well, you know Noya-san, he can be a bit intimidating", he nervously giggles, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yu intimidating?", you quirk an eyebrow.

"Yamaguchi, you forgot this", Tsukishima holds something to Yamaguchi.

"Sorry, Tsukki".

"Never mind, let's just head home", he grabs your hand, a bit too harsh, not like every other day, and it starts to bother you.

"Hey, have you already listened to the playlist I shared?", you want to distract him from those bothering emotions.

"Yeah".

"Well, that is informative. Okay. Did you like something?".

"Yeah. Could you stop interrogating me?", Yamaguchi blinks and looks like he would rather be in hell than in this very moment, watching the incoming crisis.

"Ow, wow. That is the Tsukishima I love. Yes, sure, I can shut up, if that's what you want", you sound a bit offended, but still not to the point to make a mountain out of a molehill.

"Hey, guys, do you want to go to watch some movie tomorrow after school?", Yamaguchi is really trying to save the day.

Sadly, it is already late.

"Why are you always doing that?", Kei asks you with an annoyed voice, and he doesn't even want to make it not sounding hostile.

"Doing what?", you stop walking, trying to read him, as you have no damn idea of what is going on.

"That love declaration thing. Why do you need to say it every time?".

"Tsukki! It is not Y/n's fault. You are just being angry about Noya-san's words", Yamaguchi is absolutely smitten by Tsukishima's reaction.

"Huh?! If his words mean something to me", he surely is upset with what the heck Noya told him, – "No one must answer to a confession every time it is being made. What if I just don't want to. These are my feelings, and it is up to me when and how I do it. Am I not right?".

"Tsukki!!", Yamaguchi looked at you in pure shock.

Tsukishima turned his gaze to you, just to find you entirely dumbfounded by the blast of thoughts.

"Why?", you manage to speak.

"Because it is true", he sounds a bit more cautious and delicate this time.

"No. Why didn't you tell me that me saying I love you bothers you so much?", it is frustrating.

It is not like you've expected from him to tell these three simple, yet so damaging words every time you told him you loved him. These are just your feelings, and it made you happy to be able to share them with him. Is it a crime feeling what you feel and wanting to share it? You didn't even think, that it will shake him to the core of his heart.

"You know…", you started careful, trying to pick the right words, – "not a single time I waited from you to return these words. I am sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. You could at least speak to me. I can listen and understand words. I am not some crazy stalker. Likewise, I do not follow you wherever you go. I do have my life, my interests, my friends. You are not the center of my universe. Well, at least, for now". It became harder to elaborate your words, as the idea of being too much sank into your mind.

"I didn't say you are a stalker".

"Yeah. You have just said that my feelings are too heavy for you, that is all. You know, I should probably go and reconsider my behavior. If you have some rules or ideas, maybe you need to star vocalizing them, because I would never know if you don't talk to me", you were not exactly devastated, nor disappointed. That's why you didn't share a tear throughout the conversation. Just sad.

"Y/n", he tried to grab you by the hand, but it became a blurry slow motion, as you walked past him and your silhouette dissolved in the shadows of the evening streets.

"Tsukki…", Yamaguchi sighed at the sight of his best friend, probably, losing the person he cherished the most, despite his conflicting state of mind.

"Yeah. I know. I messed it up", he looked at the streetlamp with a sad look in his eyes.

"No, you did not. But you really need to talk it out and make it work. Unless you want to break up, then…".

"What?! No. I don't want this to happen. Why would you even think about it?", he frowned at his friend, and Yamaguchi lighted up with the brightest smile.

"Then you already have your answer", he was happy to see his friend be aware of his own feelings towards you.

Frustration ate you out, and you started questioning even the smallest things.

To what extent can love be too much? How do you lessen the affection, but no to the point of total apathy? How should you even approach him now?

He was doing the same thing—trying to figure out his own boundaries and negotiate with his, sometimes too analytical, mind.

Days passed and nether of you dared to make the first step.

Tsukishima went to your rooftop place every day on lunch break, but you weren't there. Then he decided to observe you from distance, making snarky comments on whoever made you smile even a tiny bit. That made him feel uncomfortable, and he reprimanded himself internally. It went spiraling. And you… you just didn't want to invade his space. What a brilliant idea? Right?

It went on till one day you were nowhere to be found.

It annoyed him…a lot.

He had some time before the training, so he sat on the porch near the gym, and started to type messages over and over, then delete them and start all over again. From an angry one to a silly one. He did even search the net for some ridiculous memes, you would surely like.

"Hey, Stingyshima!", someone's voice took him out of his thoughts.

It was Hinata.

"Is Y/n coming today? I forgot to return notes… like a week ago".

"I don't know".

"Uuuuuu", Tanaka jumped in with a shady smile, – "Looks like there are troubles in paradise. And I told you that you should tell Y/n the L words!".

"Yeah. Are you now a specialist or something, Tanaka-san?".

"What did you say, little brat?!", he was ready to jump at Tsukishima, when they heard Yachi speaking.

"I think something happened to Y/n-san", she started with trembling voice, – "We had self study class today. And Y/n-san started to silently cry".

"What does silently cry means?", red haired boy was puzzled.

"Well. There were no emotions, just tears, I guess. Does it make sense, Hinata-kun?".

Tsukishima tensed up. It was completely out of your character. You would never cry in front of the class, moreover to the point of not understanding that you were actually crying. He reached his phone and send you a message.

"Yamaguchi, tell coach I have a headache and went to infirmary".

"Ah, sure, Tsukki", Tadashi understood immediately the intention of that.

Kei went straight to your classroom. Your bag was still there, but where were you? He searched every place you could possibly go. No result. He refused to panic. Not till he sees you, at least. It hit him stronger, than he thought, though. He opened the messenger and checked if you have read the message. You didn't.

"Oh, this is so mature of you leaving it on unread", he cursed to himself and wrote one more message.

Then he went to the rooftop and set beside the bench and waited. It became a habit to him – to put on his headphones when he needed to calm his mind. Even if there was no music. It just brought some calm and relaxed his always working mind. He closed his eyes and tried to think of a possible reason for your behavior.

"I am not 5, I am 7. Thank you", he heard your voice and opened eyes, not wanting to miss anything.

You were standing in front of him with a puffy face, adorably pinky nose and glistening eyes. You had disheveled hair, but it didn't make you look untidy. Quite the contrary. You looked so small and fragile, that he felt the urge to protect you, to shield you from every bad thought in your beautiful head.

He took his headphones off.

"Are you alright?", he simply asked, without any intention of being blunt or snarky.

You sat there on your knees in silence for a moment, thinking of any possible little lie, and then shook your head, as a little tear rolled down your cheek.

"No".

As simple as your answer was, he opened his giant warm arms and silently welcomed you.

You didn't hesitate. Carefully, you creeped into his arms, right to his chest, where you put your head.

He cradled you gently, as if he was afraid of breaking you. He put his jacket over you, just in case, if you'll feel chilly. How could you? When his presence was providing more than just warmth.

"Do you want to see something stupidly funny?", he took his phone in front of you and showed you Tanaka being knocked down by Noya's "Rolling Thunder".

"It is Ryu falling down".

"Yeah, that is, obviously, the funniest part".

"You are a dork, Kei", you smiled into his neck and he tightened his embrace, just enough to make you feel needed, significant and loved.

Just like that, you both shared the most tender moment of your youth, that will, definitely, stay in your memories for a long time.

first, a celebration

I've decided, against my better judgment and at the horrible enableationing of a certain @ezzydean, to write and post 365 ficlets this year, again. I've got a nifty little spreadsheet to keep track and everything. Each one of these will be a different sort of funness. Some will be ceated using the random fic generator I made a while back. Some will have to do with specific numbers or prompts. I'm not promising to post every single day, but I will have 365 by the end of the year. This one in particular is *apparently* the poly karasuno bug coming back to bite me once more, so enjoy!

"God damn you, you stupid motherfucking cunt waffle!"

Asahi smiled, not even bothering to open his eyes as the melody of profanity drifted through the house. It was a beautiful sound, the sound of his love and all the happiness she could bring to his life. There was a long pause of silence, long enough that Asahi could fully wake up and realize just how big and empty their bed was.

When she started shouting again, he grinned and threw the covers off.

"What are you cursing at today?" he asked, padding up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. He had to stoop to bury his nose in her soft black hair, but it was worth it for the scent of her floral shampoo and the way she leaned back against him with a happy little hum.

"These morons don't know how to play," she groused, and clicked away at her controller some more.

"Why are you playing standing up, you weirdo?" he laughed, and she just shook her head.

"Gotta concentrate," she said, and then immediately shouted, "You fucking piss ant, my grandma could play better than that and she's fucking dead!"

Asahi shook his head with a chuckle and padded off to find himself some coffee. When she finished her round, she shut down the console and followed him into the kitchen.

"Happy birthday," she said, her voice soft and melodious as it always had been. She stepped up behind him, copying the pose he'd used a moment before, and nuzzling between his shoulder blades.

"Thank you, Kiyoko," he said. He patted at her hand until she let him turn around, but she never removed her arms from his waist. "What time does the chaos start?" he asked.

"I told the others to be here around noon, so any time between an hour ago and six this evening," she said. He laughed again, just in time with the pounding of fists on the door. She hummed, swatted him on the ass, then swiped his coffee cup from the counter and nodded toward the door. "Well?" she taunted. "Go on. You know they won't wait for long. They love you too much for that." There was a double meaning in that, but Asahi ignored it for the time being.

"Brat," he laughed, and went to face his fate. As he opened the door and several members of the old Karasuno team tumbled in in a pile, he couldn't help but think that this right here was exactly how he wanted it.

"Asahi-san!" Nishinoya shouted from his spot on the top of the heap. "What the hell are you still doing in your pajamas?"

"Well, Noya, I just woke up, having spent the morning of my birthday lounging in bed, but a certain group of miscreants decided to interrupt me," Asahi huffed, and Nishinoya grinned up at him.

"I don't think they know what the word 'miscreants' even means," Tsukishima drawled. He was the only one who had avoided the pile, and he stood with his hip leaning against the doorway and his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

"Probably not," Asahi agreed, and hauled Nishinoya out of the doorway so that the others could start standing. He counted six: Nishinoya and Tsukishima, Tanaka, Hinata, Kageyama, and buried all the way at the bottom where Asahi hadn't even seen him, Kinoshita, who turned and glowered at Kageyama as soon as he was freed. "Are the others coming here, or are we meeting them?" Asahi asked.

"Daichi-san and Suga-san said they were coming here, but Yamaguchi and Narita-san are picking Yacchan up and meeting us at the shrine," Hinata chirped in answer. Asahi glanced at the clock on the stove and nodded.

"We should probably get going as soon as Daichi and Suga get here, then, to make sure Tadashi and Kazuhito don't break anything," he said.

"You gonna go in your boxers?" Tanaka asked with a waggle of his eyebrows. Asahi glanced down at himself and hummed.

"I would, but you know how I feel about free shows," he answered, turning down the hall to the sound of Tanaka choking on his own laughter. Kiyoko met him in the bedroom, leaning up on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek.

"Are you going to do it this year?" she asked.

"We'll see how the shrine visit goes," he answered. She nodded.

"I'm with you either way."

"I know."

Suga and Daichi were just arriving when Asahi emerged, dressed this time. Suga hadn't removed any of his layers, but at the sight of Asahi coming down the hall, Daichi groaned and started pulling his coat back on.

"Do we have everyone?" Suga asked. "Who's got the child leashes today?"

"It's my birthday, so not me," Asahi said serenely.

"I lived in a foreign country for--"

"Two years, we know, Shouyou," Nishinoya interrupted. "I've set foot on six different continents. It's not gonna stop them from trying."

"You're both so small. We just don't want to lose you in the crowds!" There was absolute innocence in Suga's voice, but they all knew by then not to trust that. Hinata just rolled his eyes and stomped out the front door.

As Asahi walked through the streets toward the nearest shrine, he turned the same thought over and over in his head like a shiny stone. Kiyoko held one of his hands, muttering obscenities under her breath as they walked arm-in-arm, but the other hand was swinging back and forth in Suga's grip. Kinoshita had Noya in a piggyback hold, while Hinata tried to cajole Tsukishima into the same. Tanaka and Daichi were talking in soft tones at the front of the group.

"You know," Suga said, quiet enough that Asahi could pretend not to hear, if he wanted, "It doesn't need to fit in a box. It doesn't need a label that anyone else understands. If it works, it works, and that's all that matters."

Asahi hummed, squeezing his hand. They were just coming up to the shrine, their missing three waiting for them at the bottom of the steps. Asahi took a deep breath of the cold air and looked around at all of them, chattering and laughing and swearing and hanging off of one another, moving in a synchronized orbit like they had for years now. Suga was right, he thought, and smiled. What did it matter what anyone else thought, when he had this? Good fortune was already his, and had been all along. He just had to reach out and take it.

So he did.

Haikyuu!! Pride Headcanons (Karasuno Edition)

It's time for some volleyball idiots!!!

I adore Haikyuu!! Since first watching, it has not left my top 5 shows despite some very good contenders. It's just so good!!! Absolute Top-tier storytelling!!

And also has a lot of really well-developed friendships that can be taken to a logical extreme and referred as relationships.

What I'm saying is (nearly) everyone in Haikyuu!! is gay.

For this first list, I'm doing the Karasuno team. Unlike my other lists, I don't actually have a set headcanon for their sexualities or gender expression for Haikyuu!! So this will all be vibes-based and subject to change even in my own mind.

So, here's my Disclaimer: This list is for fun. I know I'm coming from this at a western view of queer readings and that's not always the correct way to view a work, nor the only way to look at a work. I'm just doing this for my enjoyment. Art is Subjective. Don't take me too seriously.

Hinata Shouyo (he/him): Pansexual

Originally I considered him just men-attracted, but upon multiple rewatches, I do think he fits the pan sexuality well as it doesn't seem he decides on who he likes based on gender. Gender isn't important. Can you toss to him?? That's what's important

Kageyama Tobio (he/him): Demisexual, Gay

He is gay. And he didn't realize it until he got his heart broken by Kindaichi in junior high. RIP.

He also needs to have a friendship connection before liking someone in a romantic sense.

Tsukishima Kei (he/him): Gay

He's not loud about it, but he's not ashamed either. He likes men. And frankly, he doesn't care about your opinion either way.

Unless you're mean to Yamaguchi. Then he'll fuck you up.

Yamaguchi Tadashi (he/they): Bisexual

Also not very loud about it. He's not ashamed either, but he can admit that sometimes teasing can get to him. Not that he gets teased all that often anymore. Ever since they became friends with Tsukki, the teasing started to die out. They wonder why...

Yachi Hitoka (she/her): Lesbian

I will defend Lesbian Yachi with my life. Unlike most headcanons on this list, I have very strong opinions on this. Yachi likes girls!!! Loves girls!!! GIRLS!!!

Nishinoya Yuu (he/him): Bisexual

I also have strong opinions on this, but only because he's my favorite character and I'm also bisexual. And I must imprint my own life experiences onto my favs. /j

Really it's just because it fits the best for him. He likes girls. Loves girls. Would date a girl. Would marry a girl.

And yet he's in love with a man right now.

Tanaka Ryuunoske (he/him): Token Straight

Title says it all. Will fight for his friends. Will wingman for his friends. Will give his friends dating tips even though he's very very bad at getting the girl.

I hadn't considered it before, but I saw a Trans headcanon for Tanaka and I think that interpretation also works for his character!!!

Ennoshita Chikara (he/him): Queer

Easiest label to say when he tells people. He's just queer. Straightn't, if you will. (Tanaka said that to him once and Ennoshita had to physically hold back from hitting him with a volleyball)

Kinoshita Hisashi (he/him): Unlabeled

He is not straight. That's really all he knows at this point and he really doesn't care to put a label on it, so please don't ask.

Narita Kazuhito (he/him): Asexual

Why? Vibes.

Azumane Asahi (he/him): Non-binary, Gay

I think he's pretty much always known he's liked men, but I don't think he realized he was non-binary until he was out of high school and out into the work-force. That's okay, though. He's got supportive friends and a loving boyfriend that helped him figure it out along the way.

I think he's chill with any pronouns, but most people use he/him, so that's what he says when asked.

Sugawara Koushi (he/him): Gay

The wise gay mentor. He's the person you go to when you're struggling with the Gay Thoughts™️. Helped Kageyama with his crush on Hinata and helped Asahi get the nerve to ask out Noya (but not without an insurmountable amount of teasing).

Sawamura Daichi (he/him): Bisexual

Mostly, men-attracted, but he has liked girls before. Very in love with Suga. Let's him get away with too much, tbh.

Shimizu Kiyoko (she/her): Bisexual

She likes both and has pretty much always known she likes both. Probably dated Yachi a bit before calling it off, remaining friends, and dating Tanaka.

Takeda Ittetsu (he/him): Gay

The Actual Wise Gay Mentor. Suga's great as someone who is a peer to his kohai, but Takeda is the one with more life experience and has the power to help his kids as they're struggling in a world that still has trouble accepting them. He would do anything for them and has gone to great lengths to make sure they feel safe.

Ukai Keishin (he/him) Pansexual

Said he was bisexual in high school, but then discovered the pan label later in life and felt it fit better. Gender isn't important. He'd be just as whipped for Takeda even if he was another gender.

People are still shocked when they learn he likes men and is dating a man, but nobody gives him shit for it because he looks fairly intimidating.

Today is My first day at karasuno but before i even think about entering the school I put on an orange wig And lens you are thinking if that is just a wig what do i really look like okay without the orange wig and contact lens this is the real me

Lucky for me i could go straight to the gym after I finished in the office so after i had finished i ran to the gym and entered a pretty girl walked up to me

Kageyama set again the king of the court had entered but sho knew how to put him in his place he dashed and was there he had already smacked the ball like it was nothing

I notice this always happens whenever someone tries my brothers cooking they fall in love with it and him how do you think him and bokuto got together they do say the way to someone heart is through their stomach but my twin takes that saying a little to literal and he always ends up with a harem

From junior high to middle school to now it seems oh well there can’t win my brothers love they know this unless the want to see an aggressive owl in the form of Bokkun and that is not something even I want to see again

Everyone: thank you for the food shoyo/sho kun/baby owl/chibi chan/mini spiderman/ETC it was wonderful

Sho: It was Nothing really

Sho kissed bokuto and said

❃ DAICHI: NO DEVICES DURING MEALS

ㅡdaichi does not like the sound of blasting youtube ads over his homecooked meals. he's the type of dad that would encourage communication and interaction within the family. sometimes the sound of "can you get me the rice, please." is enough to fill the air. he loves hearing the voices of his kid and s/o since it remind him that he's finally home after a long day at work.

❃ SUGA: ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

ㅡi don't get me wrong, he does not expect a straight A type of kid but he wants to make sure his child's education is secured. plus, he's the best tutor a kid could ask for. not only that he's good at explaining the lessons but is also very soft-spoken, kind, and extremely patient when he teaches. also, he probably knows the release of grades every semester (perhaps because he was able to befriend all faculty members of his kid's school) so unfortunately his kid won't be able keep their report card away from him.

❃ ASAHI: KEEP THE LINE OPEN

ㅡoh god, asahi hates it when his kid does not answer his texts or calls especially when he knows that they're out at night with friends. his anxiety won't bring him peace if his child continues to ignore him. a simple "still out." would do, though. he's the type of dad that would allow their child to sleep over at a friend's house only if they will provide him the phone number and name of his child's parents.

❃ ENNOSHITA: CHORES

ㅡi hc ennoshita as the clean freak dad. maybe not to omi's extent lol but he definitely prefer things in the house organized. friday is for laundry, saturday is for general cleaning, and sunday is to chill with family. he also makes sure his kids knows basic chores since he argues that it's part of basic life necessities.

❃ TANAKA: NO BF/GF BEFORE COLLEGE GRADUATION

ㅡoh this one hits home. i am certain that it's always the girl crazy/pining dad that is hella strict with their children when it comes to dating. growing up, tanaka learned how to respect women mainly through his older sister but he doubts that any other kids out there have the same level of respect he had/has when he was younger despite pining on their crush. it's hard to maintain respect when romantic feelings are involved. also, i could see him overreacting on his daughter's first break-up. i can imagine him all riled up and on his way to his child's ex just to reprimand them from breaking their heart.

❃ NISHINOYA: NO PHONES UNTIL X AGE

ㅡnoya loves outdoors and he wants his child to express the bliss of playing with friends. but with the growing technology and continuous modernization of society kids nowadays spend most of their time in front of a screen. noya wants his child to experience to have childhood friends, get tan lines from playing under the heat of the sun, and enjoy the sweet and refreshing taste of gari gari pop. he would allow his kid to have a their own phone but they have to be in a certain age first.

❃ TSUKISHIMA: NO EXCESSIVE PLAYING OF ONLINE GAMES

ㅡthe main concern why tsukki does not allow his kid to play games on their computer or devices for a long period of time is because he didn't want them to risk their good eyesight. tho his kids would probably wear glasses in their later years because hello.. genetics lmao. he also makes sure his kids eat enough vitamin D3 for prevention. he's the type of dad who would not verbally tell his kids off but instead would stand near them with his arms crossed over his chest, eyebrows pulled up, and his iconic stoic face as if saying, "we have talked about this, young man."

❃ YAMAGUCHI: GOODBYE KISSES

ㅡyamaguchi hates parting with his kid though the only place his kiddo has to go to is pre-school. so when his kid has to leave him, he always ask for a goodbye kiss on his cheek. he would do the same but plant one on top of his kid's nose. he gets a tad bit upset when his kid forgets about the kisses though he rarely shows it because he didn't his child to feel guilty about it.

❃ KAGEYAMA: DAILY STRETCHES

ㅡkageyama takes care of his body immaculately so when he sees his kid slumped in front of the tv for the entire afternoon he would tell the youngster to get up on their feet and copy him as they execute stretches. kageyama is the type to show his s/o that his kid and he are doing stretches and would do a mini who-can-do-it-better to make the whole routine fun and bareable for the young kid.

❃ HINATA: SLEEP ON TIME

ㅡthis one is hits home way too close for hinata. for him, he still believes that skipping a good night sleep as a kid held him back from gaining a few inches in height. so to prevent that from happening to his kid he makes sure his little one sleeps on time. a fake sleeper won't get pass shoyo's scrutinizing gaze. he knows. because he has done that before. he double checks if his kiddo is sleeping by peeking through the door of their bedroom and when he sees them fast asleep, a small smile forms on his face.
