When dating Andy, there are certain types of rules you must follow.

They're silent rules, sure, never spoken outloud, but you've been with Andy long enough to know that if you break them... there are consequences.

Rule No. 1 : Never dare speak to another man

You can still remember this rule vividly.

It was sometime in April, and you had practically begged Andy to drive you to the mall for new spring dresses.

When he finally agreed, you both drove to the mall and walked around for an hour, just window shopping all the sweet spring deals.

You found a lovely dress and went to try it on. Unfortunately, you realized the size was too small, so you asked Andy to browse the store for something bigger.

This is when the incident happened...

When you finally finished changing, you walked out of the clothing booth with a couple of other items and one adorable shirt that lacked a price.

You searched for a store employee and spotted a young man.

"Excuse me, but is there any way you can find the price of this shirt? I can't seem to find it," you handed the shirt to the employee, and his cheeks turned a dusted pink

"W- Well sure. I can just ask my co-worker to-"

"Fuck off."

You jumped at the cold voice beside you and noticed a very pissed off Andrew. His hand was suddenly on your hip, squeezing your flesh very aggressively.

"I- I'm sorry, sir, but I was talking to this young lady, not you," the young worker looked nervous.

But Andrew was having none of it, "fuck off before I forcibly make you." His eyes narrowed on the man, as he pushed you against his chest.

The employee retreated for the employee back door, his tail practically in between his legs, leaving you absolutely dumbfounded.

You pushed at Andy's chest, "Andrew what the fuck?! He wasn't doing anything wrong, he was literally just helping me find the price tag for some-"

"Do you like pissing me off? I disappeared for not even 5 minutes, and you're letting men drool over you? "

His grip on your hip got tighter, assuring that it would leave a mark for later.

At a loss of words, Andrew leaned in and whispered into your ear,

"You're making me sad, Y/N... Do you honestly want another man?"

His voice sent shivers down your spine, making that spot between your legs ache, and that chilling feel graze your skin with goosebumps.

"Andrew, I don't want anyone else! Please don't be sad, I'm sorry for misleading you," Your eyes got glossy from the guilt that weighed down on you.

He sighed, disappointed. He gripped your wrist, using the hand that was on your hip to rip the clothes you had out of your hand and onto a random display table.

"You're not a very good girlfriend. But I love you anyway."

He walked towards the exit, caressing your hand while he did.

You quickly leaned that Andrew was not going to tolerate any sort of social interaction with other men, and if you broke this rule, he'd be very, very disappointed in you. Simple as that.

Rule No. 2 : Where you're going, what you're doing, who you're with, and why is all of Andy's business.

A year into your relationship, you decided to take a spontaneous girls trip with your friends to a different state.

You'd only be gone for a couple of days, and since Andrew was always busy working, you figured that he wouldn't mind.

Thinking this, you texted Andrew.

I'm sorry I haven't texted you. How was your day? **

You

It was good! I'm actually packing right now for a trip. **

What trip? **

You

A girls' trip. I figured since you're busy all the time, I could take this weekend to vacation! **

Rule No. 3 : You belong to Andy, and only Andy.

"Hey Andy! Guess what I found?!" You walked up to Andy who was lounging on the coach watching some shitty news.

"What's that, Y/N?" He lazily turned his head towards you.

In your hand was an old photograph of you and an old prom date, taken long before you ever met Andrew.

You were cleaning your bedroom and found a couple of old boxes underneath your bed. Once of which, held many old memories of your youth.

"It's all the prom pictures my mom took of me! Don't I look cute?" You leaned your upper body over the coach back and showed Andy the dusty photos.

You expected a snort, a grin, maybe some mockery for your cheesy dress but instead Andrew tensed up his jaw, his eyes narrowing.

He grabbed the photos from your hand and slowly looked through them.

"You are very pretty, Y/N...." his hand squeezed the photos, to the point of crinkling them.

"Andrew, the photos are being!-"

Suddenly Andrew stood up and quickly crossed the distance between you two, letting the photos be dropped to the floor.

You gasped as Andrew smashed his lips against yours.

He grabbed onto your face, pressing his body into yours.

His lips were warm and slightly chapped, the brief smell of mint and cigarettes overpowering your head.

He broke the kiss, a strange hunger dancing in his eyes as he looked at you.

"You're so beautiful... You're so beautiful being mine, and mine alone. Mine, mine, mine, and mine, until the world comes crashing and burning. " He grinned at you, a dark shadow crossing his face.

"Andrew! I- I know im yours, but the photos are being stepped on-" You tried protesting, but instead, you felt Andrew kiss you again, this time going deeper. His hand squeezed your cheeks, attempting to make your jaw open, in a way asking for entrance.

You couldn't help but open your mouth wider, a victim to the rose colored glasses he always placed on you.

Your eyes closed, while Andrews' opened.

He stared at you with a strange intensity.

You, of course, could never hear his thoughts, but if his words were spoken outloud he would scream how much he wanted to rip that prom date to shreds.

Watch him bleed out of your hardwood floors until it stained from that fuckers punishment.

You belonged to HIM.

You were HIS.

And darling, he would go to heaven and drag you back to hell with him if he had to.

He broke the kiss and squeezed you into a hug,

"Promise you wont ever leave me, okay?" Andrew rested his head on your shoulder. You breathed heavily, wiping the saliva from your chin.

You nodded in a daze, the ache between your legs overpowering any kind of hesitancy you had.

Andrew smiled into your neck, reaching his hands under your ass to prop you up around his waist.

"Come on... I want to continue this in the bedroom. I want to see more of you..." He said in just above a whisper.

"Only you..."

i have 2 other things ive been meaning to post but tadc sona comes first.. this is flicker!! theyre a jack in the box & theyre shipped with kinger bc im in love with him,, their ship name is kingspring :)

ok allow me to recap the facts i had on main but in Sections

anatomy + box

she & her box arent very heavy + shes pretty small so she can be picked up & moved around easily

this also means she would be trapped inside if someone left a heavy enough object on the lid

she likes hopping out & stretching her legs but hates leaving her box unattended lest a certain rabbit decides to play any mean pranks...

the crank on the box only plays the classic pop goes the weasel song, it cant force her to spring out or anything. for the most part she likes to go along with it & pop out on cue tho :3

has more control over her tail spring i think... she can get used to a new limb being springy way better than her abdomen suddenly being a spring so she doesnt think to use it half the time

i think stretching with the spring would be physically tiring after a while anyway so theyd likely stand on their box if they rlly needed the extra height

it mostly ends up activating involuntarily, like flinching away or springing toward smth in excitement! when shes rlly happy she just pops up in joy :)

relationships

tries to avoid startling most ppl but will occasionally try to catch jax off-guard. swears up & down they dont do it on purpose but jax is getting suspicious

theyll hear kinger & get so excited they forget to be careful so they just POP! outta their box & startle everyone

ragatha is the most responsible so they leave their box with her if they plan to be out of it for a while. ragatha happily agrees since they have similar fears

if theyre inside the box, kinger will carry it around so jax cant get his hands on it. i think having smth to Hold & pay attention to & protect keeps him from spacing out as often

has resorted to just bonking jax with a cardboard tube she found when he says smth mean. shes very cautious abt when to bonk so she doesnt do it too often & make herself a target for retaliation

kinger likes all her bells bc it means he can hear her coming so hes less likely to be startled by her :) assuming hes paying attention enough to hear the bells..

the tradeoff is that she has to move very carefully around everyone else bc it annoys them even tho its not her fault shes so jingly :( some are sympathetic abt it & try to be understanding but sometimes its just Too Much

calls kinger names like my king, my lord, dear, darling, beloved

kinger calls her dear, my love, my beloved & refers to her as his jester (eg "has anyone seen my royal jester??")

No problem! I think I said this before but--for the fic at least-- im going to be focusing on Sonic, Shadow and Silver. I dont have too many NEW ideas, but they are more fleshed out now.

And by fleshed out i mean i have incoherent teaser talk about whatever Sonic, Shadow, and Silver have going on. What do they have going on? I'll tell you.

OLD MAN POLYCULE

Sonic and Shadow have been sort of together for years now, and have been officially married for about 6 months (it took them an agonizingly long time to get married. Sonic just turned 50. Amy and Rouge and Maria are coping the best they can at the realization of how long it took. They're just glad the idiots finally did it.)

Silver however, isnt doing so well. He feels...many things.

The hedgehog has lived with Sonic and friends on and off until he finally decided to stay permanently some years ago. He's a little ashamed to admit it, but he wants to be with Sonic and Shadow. And he tries to hide it away.

Silver has done so much in their time; been a donor to Amy and Blaze so they can have a child, started a lucrative repair business with Tails, promising to protect the Master Emerald whenever Knuckles is away....

Been the Best Man at the wedding...

Silver wonders if he's forcing connections in their lives just to make himself feel like he belongs. Or worse; to simply be closer to something he knows he can't have...

Meanwhile....

Sonic wants him closer. He's like smoke; strong and soft, but utterly untouchable. Sonic is used to being the runner not the chaser. But he cant help it. Silver's around, and always has been. Yet he insists on staying just out of his reach. It reminds him of his husband in that way, and Sonic can never resist the temptation...

Shadow can feel it. He knows what its like. To be from essentially another world and out of place. Shadow had Maria and Sonic and...it helped. But Silver is alone. He wants to pull him in; protect him from himself. But even Shadow knows that distance is hard to cross on your own once you notice its there...

How will they figure shit out? Who knows? (Me. I know. Kinda. Im still hashing shit out for a 3 chapter fic.) But yeah, thats what ive got so far!

WTTT cryptid/animal hcs cuz I'm bored. Also these might make absolutely ZERO sense whatsoever, but thats fine.

New York:

Ive decided that his cryptid/animal form is a blue jay/cat hybrid. Why? Idk tbh. We as a fandom have decided that he is a cat in human form, and the blue-jay is apparently one of the most common birds in NY (and theyre pretty as hell-). I dont really have a good reason lmao. He has the wings of a blue jay (along with some feathers around his back/neck/torso) and cat ears and tail (tho his tail has feathers on it that spread out to look like a blue jay's tailfeathers.) and claws. Also his eyes are gold and his pupils are slits :3. His claws come out of the base of his fingernails, almost like Wolverine's. His speed and agility is increased quite a bit, he can climb even better, amd hear things that he wouldn't normally be able to hear.

Louisiana:

The little voices in my head have all come together and decided that he's a gator/wolf hybrid. Wolf cuz ✨Rougarou✨ and gator cuz why tf not. He has wolf ears and tail, and gator scales on his back/neck/forearms, as well as a bit of his torso. His eyes are a bright yellow and he has slit pupils like an alligator. His teeth can very from being all sharp, or just his canines. His strength, speed, stamina, swimming and hearing/smell abilities all are increased.

Texas:

I just do what the little voices in my head tell me to. He's a deer/northern mockingbird hybrid (cuz deer are the most widespread large mammal in Texas and his state bird is the northern mockingbird). He has antlers and deer hooves and tail, as well as mockingbird wings. His hearing, speed, and jumping abilities are all increased. He's also very alert and gets scared very easily (easier than usual, and he hates it). He definitely headbutts Alaska and California and others that he's able to (some of the taller states).

Massachusetts:

To be completely honest, I haven't though too much, but I'm thinking maybe a raccoon or a chickadee. Raccoon cuz hehe funny, and chickadee cuz the black-capped chickadee is his state bird. This might be one I have to think about more tbh.

Gov:

He's an eagle, no questions asked. I mean- for God's sake he's the closest thing we have to full personification of America, so yes. He has large eagle wings and bright yellow eyes with slit pupils. His legs from the knee down can either be like eagle's legs/talons, or they can be normal, and he has talons instead of fingernails. He has feathers along his neck/back and a long the sides of his face. His speed and strength are both increased.

Alaska:

Again, the little voices are telling me that he's a polar bear/moose hybrid. Pretty much most of him is par bear, as in he has white fur on most of him, he has the claws, and white bear ears and tail and the tips of his hair are white. The moose part of him is literally just a pair of moose antlers. And his strength is heavily increased (not that that was necessary-). He has 100% headbutted Texas back and sent him for a trip.

California:

He is ✨grizzly bear✨. It just makes sense. He has the bear ears, tail, and claws. And fur along his back, torso, neck, forearms, and legs. Also he's like 10x stronger (again, not necessary :') he's already buff enough) and has definitely thrown Texas a few times.

Nevada:

Big horned sheep. He has ram horns, the legs of a ram, and a tail. And he definitely headbutts people. For funsies.

Colorado:

Basically the same as Nevada. Also he gets the munchies cuz he's high 24/7 and eats literally anything. Chair? Munch. Plastic? Munch. Rock? M u n c h.

Florida:

That's not even a question lmao. He's an alligator. He has the yellow eyes and slit pupils, alligator scales on his arms/back/legs/neck. And he's a lot stronger and can swim faster.

New Jersey:

He is a demon/devil hybrid, no questions asked. He has elf-like ears, devil horns/tail/wings, bright red eyes, sharp teeth, and black patches all over his body.

Rhode Island:

Hehe. He's a raccoon cuz i said so. And nobody is changing my damn mind. He has the floofy tail and ears and claws and teeth. He is angy short raccoon :3

blankies are descendants from dragons, so they may have small, non working dragon wings! They can also spit fire. They may have some scales on there body, but most of the time are fluffy on most of there body with scales just in one general area. They may have up to 3 spikes on there body that are typically on there chest, or tails, but can be in other place or may even take place of horns.

please do NOT change there antatomy or add traits like massive dragon wings, normal wings , a bunch of large spikes, etc.. blankies can have no wings if wanted though! They may have stub tails, or really long ones, and can also have accesories as much as wanted. Blankies will almost NEVER posses aquatic traits, but it is possible

Hi! You said you could talk for hours about Jason's story in your mer AU, and I would love to hear it! (If you want to share it, of course <3)

OH MAN YEAH ok general warning for medical experimentation and things along that line

im literally going to start at the beginning with this SO:

bruce is the one who reached out to the facility to help develop the program, so he's the reason the mer people are as 'in contact' with the humans as they are (humans KNOW about mer people theyre not any sort of secret they just dont interact a whole bunch). its a bit of a mutualistic thing--the mer people can be studied and help develop humans understanding of their biology and culture and stuff--as well as they will help bring things from the ocean sometimes. they also get medical care for things they may not have been able to deal with by themselves (and they get medicine too, but they didnt really know that stuff existed so that was just a plus)

anyway so when they reach out jasons still a kid--so the og mer people who were at the facility are bruce, dick, jason, harley, and tim. damian, cassie and bart all come in later.

so with the biological testing its mainly the joker (his names john in this but i literally cant take it seriously w either name im sorry) running things as hes like the head of the department, and hasnt been outed as a bad person yet. kory works with them too, but she spends more times at the tank doing monitoring rather than hands on examinations. examinations mainly consist of xrays and stuff to see what their bone structures are like, organ placement, etc etc.

^with this, because they are technically people they withhold rights to a degree (i mean they cant vote or anything but like. they have basic human rights in terms of their bodies) so they are NOT allowed to conduct invasive procedures or harmful experiments to them

however after a point joker is basically like yeah ive gathered everything i can from non invasive tests lets cut one open (also note he has absolutely no regards for their customs or culture so that is also a big point of trauma for jason)

he picks jason because hes like ~12/13 when he decides to take someone, and he wanted someone who wouldve been closer to human puberty bc he wanted to see if mer ppl had it/how it effects them. tim wouldve been too young, and dick too old--and bruce wouldve probably ripped his throat out if he tried on him LOL

so during the time jasons effectively kidnapped (also does need to be noted that jason does have a tendency to wander off--he likes to explore, so for a while no ones really worried, until they very much are) he is kept in something closer to an observation tank that doesnt lead back to the ocean (all the tanks in the facility lead directly back to the ocean--they do not keep them there against their will. an observation tanks true usage would be more for someone waiting to go BACK to the main tanks after say getting and xray or something) so hes trapped in the tank for the duration of him being there.

the joker keeps him for a couple years--and at that point the other mer people assume hes dead. (hes not found bc the joker keeps him in his private lab so hes the only one authorized to go back there--people arent aware of whats happening to jason) joker keeps him drugged up most the time so jasons not really There for most of it. anyway. without going into too much horrible detail about it during the time--hes vivisected (Y chest scar) and joker basically like. rummages around through his organs and stuff and examines everything. hes cut open a couple times because joker cant get through everything in one day so. he also cuts his tail and some other areas open just to see how the mer people differ biologically.

only reason that hes found (by ivy--everyone say thank you ivy) is because she needed something from joker and snagged his keycard to get into his lab (this is pretty common in the facility--people borrow from private labs and they generally just grab the keycard from their desk if they even need it. private labs are often kept open) and went in and found jason in the tank (hes roughly 15/16 at this point) and immediately calls kory to see if she had any idea what was happening and she doesnt--kory shows up and a few mins later joker shows up and is furious about it, but the jigs kinda up now. they forcibly take jason back to korys lab where they can patch him up and stuff. they have to replace all the stitches because theyre not well done at all (joker was only stitching him up to like. hold him back together not really to heal the wounds)

(in more a step towards joker and harleys story hes reported to the board--and he is no longer allowed to work on the biological side of things. everyone else who finds out/knows about what he did are angry because theyre not getting rid of him because he, according to the board, was "too good" to fire. they also gave some sort of excuse as keeping him around meant keeping an eye on him so that he couldnt do it to anyone else--but again thats more towards harleys story rather than jasons)

kory and ivy get jason all fixed up and stick him in korys observation tank until the drugs wear off (they didnt want him to have access to the open ocean when he wasnt all there because he could get hurt Worse and they wouldnt be able to reach him)

unfortunately they DO have to give him more drugs (pain meds) but its different stuff than what the joker was using--again whole deal w that is joker was doing it all to keep him sedated and available for testing whereas kory and ivy are trying to heal him and stuff.

kory is the one who tells dick and everyone that jasons alive, and no one really reacts well because its been a while at this point and theyre all trying to move on.

eventually jason gets brought back to the main tank and he automatically goes to dick (jason blames bruce for everything that happened because hes the one that reached out to the facility and lead to jason being taken and experimented upon--and tims like. still a kid and he was always closer to dick anyway) and everyones kinda staring at him all horrified because hes still seeping blood into the water and hes still not really properly looked at himself but everyones just glad hes at least like. alive.

later when hes w dick he does have a bit of a massive breakdown when he finally kinda surface level processes whats been done to him--hes angry and scared and hes still a little kid and like. there is absolutely not going back and his organs still havent shifted back to where they should be quite right so he feels weird and theres obviously the incredible amount of pain hes dealing with. his hair does turn white w the shock/trauma of everything too !! thats where that crops up. when he sees it he tries to cut it all off because he hates it but it just grows back white so the white area of his hair is a bit shorter than the rest of his hair :)

he has to continue getting pain medicine/antibiotics/etc but once his head cleared up enough to think hes absolutely rabid around humans he has no trust for them at all anymore and he refuses to let them (or really anyone for that matter) touch him so its a shot in the dark to whether hes gonna be out of his mind enough with pain that they get can the stuff into him or not

he heals over time and hes got nasty scars from it but otherwise is physically alright--he does distance from dick and everyone else a Lot though (and still blames most of it on bruce) and is often out in the ocean doing things--he doesnt often return to the facility except when absolutely needed

he IS eventually forced to go to a therapy thing of sorts with harley but he just sits and refuses to talk the whole time (after he meets roy he will occasionally talk about roy and everyones very curious about this dude that jason apparently Regularly Talks to bc he is the most antisocial person Ever)

hes still a good person tho like he just hates people touching him (roy and VERY rarely kory are an exception. sometimes his brothers but thats a shot in the dark) and interacting with him but hes still wildly curious about the human world and the people that live in it he just wants to learn about it all from very very far away.

so thats all pre kon and clark thats effectively the gist of his backstory--moving onto his actual story during the au -

(jason doesnt show up loads in the main storyline with kon and the rest of them, but me and emmy have a decent amount of stuff in his own offshoot--a lot of which actually includes roy lmao)

jasons a big collector when he travels--hes got this waterproof bag he asked dick to ask kory for and he collects shells and rocks and pearls and stuff like that that he thinks are interesting off the ocean floor and stuff, and he DOES like to show it all off because he thinks what he does is cool and he likes when people get excited over something he found but he hardly ever shows anyone because hes also worried that theyre gonna take it and the stuff is His

the stuff w roy comes mostly from emmy bc shes the one who knows most about him so if hes mischaracterized at all u cant blame me (also this bit is particularly scattered so i will try my best to timeline it as i can)--

roys a volunteer at something or other organization and he picks up trash along the coastline and stuff--jason shows up and sees him one day and roy sees him but doesnt say anything--jasons the one who eventually talks to him first. directly qoute from our chats from emmy:

'Jason giving him a hard time about being a do gooder and being pessimistic about people not ever actually caring about the ocean even though people live in it ,,, I bet roy travels along the beach looking for wrappers and cans and just talks and Jason makes fun of him and Roy's like ,, buddy you've been swimming along with me for like 30 mins you must love hanging out <3 and jason gets all huffy and he's like no I'm just MESSING with you stupid idiot and he kind of swims off and Roy keeps walking and after like 5 mins Jason like throws a beer bottle or something in front of Roy that he found in the sand under the water and Roy's like thanks and Jason's like ,, thanks'

like previously mentioned roys one of the only ppl allowed to touch jason--more because he doesnt know anything about what happened to him (he can obviously see the scars but at that point has no context and jason wants to keep it that way because he treats him normal) first time it happens is actually at some point when roy visits the facility and theyre all just kinda touching and roy touches jasons shoulder as an off hand like pat/whatever and everyone kinda freezes because thats like rule #1 you dont even try to touch him or hell probably bite you and he just sits and lets roy touch him and now EVERYONES got something to think about bc whats so important about THIS guy

heres two other quotes idk how to naturally work into this:

'i just keep thinking about it jason being an asshole per usual but roy is allowed to grt away w stuff and jason still maintaining that hes prickly and mean so that roy doesnt know that the thing jason lets him do mean anything'

'i think part of the appeal for jason is knowing that like. roy doesnt have to be weird abt it bc he didnt know (about jasons aversion to others touching him) so jason doesnt have to be weird and be like yes ur allowed to touch me he just lets it happen and like they never really say anything about it'

roys the person jason talks to the most but its always about stupid stuff and nothing like important or anything.

‘after like a couple weeks of Roy showing up and Jason's memorized his schedule and meets him at the little area Roy always starts at wait bc now I'm thinking about that like Roy's been doing this alone for months to keep his mind off things and to feels like he's doing something productive and he doesn't have that many friends but all of the sudden he's got this weird mer guy half being a little mean half being a little silly with him but every time they split off when Roy goes home Jason's always like whatever you'll get tired of this like every other die hard litterbug hater that stomps through here--bc I think Jason rly does like having Roy around and likes his company but really does think he will end up leaving and he's kinda sad about it so he always picks on him for it.....and Roy's like and you're fun to hang out with it and Jason first response is to be like ew but he would never ever say anything but in his mind he's like yeah okay he kinda uses Roy as company like that too like every moment he's with Roy is time he's not feeling threatened--and if he's being honest having someone around does make him feel a little safer but Jason can't be outright boo hoo so he's just like wow you you come all the way out here to see me BUT SILLY and Roy makes some face but they both know that yeah they do just hang out with each other’

‘I bet Jason almost throws a bottle at Roy's head actually by accident’ (do NOT remember context for this but i think its funny)

Jason and Roy's like man's you know you can hand me things ,, and Jason like this is easier stupid and Roy's like okay but if you kill me you go to human jail and Jason thinks it's funny but after like 20 mins of walking Roy's hears Jason like ",, well here" and sees him holding some of those plastic can holder things and roys like thanks dude and tried to grab them and Jason kinda flinches and he's just kinda waits for Jason to reach back over before he goes the grab them again and he has to step into the water a little to get them from Jason he's wearing those stupid rubber boots bc Jason kept splashing him one day and soaked his sneakers so now he wears boots

no bc i bet jason was being silly he was splashing roy and stuff bc maybe he was having a bad day and jasons trying to do his own method of cheering up it only resulted in roy getting soaked and wearing boots now lol

I bet roy says it too he shows up and they're annoying and squeaky and Jasons like ,,,, but Roy's like splash me all you want can't ruin these idiot but he's being silly

can they please be like bright pink polka dots (they were indeed chosen to be bright pink polka dots)

jason sometimes asks roy a bunch of the questions hes had since seeing kon but refuses to actually directly ask kon and roy thinks its funny but he answers anyway

also i 100% think jason does mer affection things towards roy and he just doesn't understand what they mean so he doesnt realize but like harley sees once and is like 🧍

also i like to think that jason is like. extremely touch starved. but he doesn't want people touching him but he wants to be able to touch other people and roy will let him do that lets jason like grab his wrist or whatever and he wont try to grab or touch back

I LOOOVE the touching thing tho bc like Roy is such a safe option he has nooo idea what it's like he has no idea who Jason is or what happened and more importantly he doesn't know how like idk the word how isolated and quiet and distant Jason has become bc he doesn't know Jason from before and doesn't know anything about him jason has the opportunity to like start over and not be cold to one singular person he has no baggage nothing to uphold he could be a blank skate to this weird guy I love him

I'm thinking about Jason putting trash directly in Roy's hand and Jason having a code red personal crisis and toy not even realizing how scary the moment is for jason

do you think Roy brings bad snacks (to the facility) and he's like here do you wanna try one and Jason's like blah blah mocking the researchers "it's bad for mermaid to eat human food blah blah" and Roy's like sounds dumb and Roy's like yeah and eventually he's like okay I want one and it's like a idk a fucking chip or something and reaches in the bag and drips water over all the chips and Roy's like uhh you can just finish the little bag bud

most the humans who have mer friends also carry around little towels for them to dry their hands if theres something they wanna touch that cant get wet/the person doesnt want them getting it wet--roy carries around little washcloths in his back pocket

jason also likes to give roy stuff from his ocean adventures and stuff i think ive mentioned that before possibly but i dont remember where?? i cant find it so: jason likes to give roy pearls and stuff that he finds and other stuff and neither of them really have any idea of how valuable some of the stuff is but roy keeps it because its something from jason and he thinks its cool

heres one last silly thing:

jason stealing roys hat and plonking it on his own head and its a bit big and roy says he looks dumb and jasons like im gonna take this to my home and roys like nO GIVE IT BACK JASON and hes splashing into the water and jasons slipping back before roy can catch him except roy just fuckin goes for it and lunges at jason and jason like shrieks and roy is SOAKINF WET BUT HE GOT HIS HAT BACK and hes like kneeling in the water all dripping wet and jasons a few feet away all tucked in on himself and watching roy bc he got too close

UH WHOA not only am i posting art but theres so much of it lmfao

ive been meaning to do this for mmmm a long time, and i decided to get it cleaned up so i can present folks with my homebrew/headcanon/thingy for the d&d playable races !! i know ive missed a few off but these are ones ive seen more of over all in my own travels in Nerd Game lol

ive only DMed one thing so far (our lost mines of phandelver adventure was a total blast but oh boy the shenanigans) but im like ... drowning in it all, have been for a loooonng time since i first played Neverwinter Nights when i was like 11, i just didnt have a party to mess with yet lmao (fingers crossed our schedules get sorted so the campaign goes ahead soooooonnn).. so ive been developing some of these various homebrewy headcanons for uh over half my life

getting them all together in one place like this was unbelievably fun !!

gonna yell under the cut for a bit about it more but very shortly i’ll be opening for d&d character / item / creature commissions so watch this space or pop me a message to get in a queue <3

these headcanon things are half based on “that looks cool” and Sciencing. a lot of the more humanoid in some way races ive really pulled on human ancestors a lot, as well as muscle development in different sports. And Animals, because ye

i haven’t included humans in this mammoth endeavour because we should all know what a Human People looks like, and their proportions aren’t any different in the world of D&D i run at least lol similarly, because they’re an exact intersection between humans & either elves or orcs, the half-species arent included on here either [shrugs] i WILL talk about them some here though !!

i might eventually update this with some npc generators ive made using my own descriptors and headcanons >.>

ELVES av height; 5′6 | heads-high; 8.5 generally long limbed, with fine wispy hair, elves senses are very heightened. helping in this, their eyes are almond-shaped with slightly narrow pupils, their large radar-like ears are very mobile, and the underside of their noses are covered in a lightly damp pitted leather. part of their ability to maintain grace with an elongated frame, aside from longer springy feet, is aided by a tail built somewhat like a horse, with a skirt of hair down its length, only with a slightly longer bone to it than would be seen in the typical pony. excepting a very light dusting on their lower limbs, they typically have very little body hair. sometimes their skin shimmers, or freckles sparkle.

GNOME av height; 3′6 | heads-high; 6.5 gnomes are almost like diminutive elves with a few key differences. their hair tends to be wild if left alone, but is often styled wildly anyway. set rather low on rounded but long faces, their large almond eyes are keen, and small hands very nimble. it’s not sure if its due to their close environments or frequent encounters with accidents in experiments, but their skulls are surprisingly hard, and they possess small horn nubs made of bone and coated in keratin. their small petal-shaped ears are set low and point outward, and are able to move a little to catch sound. they may look fragile due to their size and build but they are pretty hardy and more than capable.

HALFLING av height; 3′ | heads-high; 6 a very hardy but soft and welcoming folk, halflings are built for walking and surviving well, often coming from a semi-nomadic tradition. they typically have round faces with stronger jaws and soft round eyes, and their large ears are pointed upright. their figures easily get a little curved and chubby, especially when they have easy access to decent food, in preparation for harder times and the odd period of hunkering down for some downtime, say in poor weather. truly the most functional part of a halfling is their short powerful legs with big fairly flexible hard feet, and lion-like tail for balance, both insulated by hair.

DWARF av height; 4′3 | heads-high; 6.5 dwarves are accustomed to life in tougher terrain, typically with large parts spent in the ground. their broad frames are also squat down with thick short limbs, for huge power and for life in tunnels. wide feet keep them steady and sensitive to significant seismic energy in the earth, and wide hands aid in their work and the feel of the rock. their large round ears stick outward and are slightly mobile, large noses help condition the air, and high-set eyes with huge irises aid their vision in darker spaces and the ability to peek over things without being fully exposed. their skulls are also very thick just in case of falling rocks. all dwarves are very hairy and grow beards, taking pride in keeping and styling it.

GOLIATH av height; 7′6 | heads-high; 10 a totally different variety of rock & mountain people to dwarves, they do share a few traits. a goliath’s thick limbs are long with a big reach and huge stride, with big hands and feet for steady movement. as well as being hugely tall, they are broad, especially in their shoulders, with a long neck elevating their head further. their facial features tend to be very sharp, but long. they have little to no body hair, and they often dont grow head hair either, but decorate their skulls with tattoos. as they get older, the upper surfaces of their body develop pebble like growths under the skin, often in similar patterns to their habitats.

FIRBOLG av height; 7′6 | heads high; 9 firbolg typically live in deep forests but are actually a giantkin - although not too unbelievable given their huge height and thick build. large parts of their body are hairy, nearly furry, and their head hair is thick and wild, and they often have facial hair too. their large heads have long thick noses with an almost bovine leather to their top lips, and wide set eyes. their fluffy ears are very mobile, but when relaxed they drop and point downward. their nails are thick and sturdy, aiding in being even more dexterous while being so big. sometimes they are covered in layers of clothing, but they possess a tiny goat-like tail.

DRAGONBORN av height; 6′6 | heads-high; 8 dragonborns diverged from true dragons in the ancient past, likely due to a strong magical influence of some kind, but not so long ago that the bloodlines of dragons are absent from the race of dragonborn. (the illustration shows the typical head-shape and placement of ears, each bloodline has its own features). their chest is still very round like an animal, with deep chest muscles, a slightly less mobile shoulder, and short upper arm. their 4 clawed hands and feet somewhat resemble that of a true dragon, but smaller and a little less dangerous. the length of a dragonborn’s tail can vary from just the length from hips to floor, or up to their full height, and as well as being very useful for balance and dexterity, can be used for fighting. different bloodlines can interbreed, with it being a matter of chance which line is present in offspring (although metallic is more dominant over gemstone, and chromatic over both ... (ah yeah gemstone, ill get to that soon))

AARAKOCRA av height; 5′ | heads-high; 8.5 as an avian species, especially one capable of flight, the aarakocra’s bones are hollow, making them on the one hand very agile but a little fragile. their large wingspan nearly brushes the floor, and their wings attach high on their back, through to a deep avian keel. their arms have a long forearm, which is covered in bird-like scutes, and their 4 clawed hands are still remarkably talon like which quite short palms and very mobile thumbs. their legs are very long and powerful, and backed by a typically wedge shaped tail. more often than not, their physical appearance takes after raptor species of birds, but different populations can trend towards many different appearances, including parrots and waterfowl.

TABAXI av height; 6′6 | heads-high; 9 tabaxi are an unusual sight in many places still. their cat-like bodies are very flexible and suited to their athletic climbing lifestyle. their long hands and feet have very a powerful grip, and they can retract their front claws. their long feline face is something like a cheetah or a clouded-leopard, with large highly mobile ears, large eyes and a strong nose.

ORC

av height; 6′6 | heads-high; 8

orcs are very powerfully build, with heavy muscles and thick bodies overall. compared to other humanoids they can look a little gorilla-like. their short legs are usually a little bent to carry weight better instead of busting knees when locked. their course wiry hair grows profusely all over their body. their strong nails often grow out a little pointed. their large thick heads have high heavy brows and protruding lower jaws, short round noses and low bud-shaped ears which stick outward. the lower jaw and sometimes upper contain tusks, sometimes multiple tusks, which are greatly cared for and very impressive.

HALF-ELVES av height; 5′6 | heads-high; 8.25 a half-elf’s build will be somewhere between human and elf, often inheriting something of an elf’s eyes and nose leather, shorter elf ears, and maybe a small tufted tail something like a rabbits

HALF-ORCS av height; 6′ | heads-high; 8 a half-orc’s build will be somewhere between human and elf, often inheriting something of an orc’s skin colour and dark and profuse wiry hair, shorter orc ears, and some small tusks.

GOBLIN av height; 4′ (stood straight) | heads high; 5.5 bat/cat-like ears, nose something like bear/cat, domed head, arms/legs same length, sparse wiry hair, claws, short digits, lithe but very strong and hardy

HOBGOBLIN av height; 5′3 (stood straight) | heads high; 8 bat/cat-like ears but pinched at the base, nose something like bear/cat, very domed head, arms slightly longer than legs, claws, sparse wiry hair, quite broad

TRITON av height; 5′2 | heads high; 7.5 lithe but well muscled, quite streamlined for a humanoid, frilled ears, pretty flat face, fins on limbs/back, “hair” is tendrils/fins/etc, short strong legs & long arms, long webbed fingers, long flipper feet, gills along front/side of chest

YUAN-TI PUREBLOOD av height; 5′9 | heads high; 9 domed angular faces, lips are not humanoid, triangular eyes, scales, quite flat nostrils with sense pits following along underside cheekbones, very little cartilage in ear, some may have cobra hoods extending out of ear instead, very tall and thin with small hands/feet, reptilian claws

CENTAUR av height; 7′ | heads high; 10 fairly stocky pony body (usually about 4′10 at withers), very muscled front end, long neck & sloping human-shoulders, long faces with long broad noses, prominent lips, horse-like ears sticking up and out, their whole scalp can grow hair but shaved sides are common, can grow hair nearly all down human-spine

KOBOLD av height; 2′6 | heads high; 5.5 almost alligator-like head & eyes, tiny nub horns, quite animal-like chest, arms/legs same length, thick stubby tail same length of body, 4 digits with stubby claws, lithe but strong for their tiny size

KENKU av height; 4′ | heads high; 5.5 corvid features, deep chest but no keel, longer arms than legs, 4 digits with talons, hands human-like but scaled, wedge-like tail half of leg height, not-quite fully bird feet.

MINOTAUR av height; 7′ | heads-high; 9 powerful build with thick bones, typically well muscled, bovine head on thick neck, often very large horns, fairly long tufted tail, big hooved feet, broad 4 digit hands with thick nails, hair length varies

PLANE THINGS ???

listen this was a lot easier in the edition i first encountered lol anyway, until anything else comes up in extra material im just applying a few square & rectangle venn diagram rules

a useful word; planetouched. i dont really know why WotC seems to have dropped that term for at least 5e (i missed 4e entirely) but it refers to a “mortal native outsider” with lineage or influence from a plane other than the material, so “a material plane native creature with non-native plane influence, which can die”

GENASI height depends on material plane parent the result of a material plane / elemental pair (usually genies). they usually take after their material parent in build and broader features, but their elemental heritage comes through in features like magical hair, bright coloured eyes, unusual body temperatures, innate magics, etc. genasi can interbreed with themselves, and the crossing of two elements can produce some interesting results (im working on that :>)

TIEFLINGS height depends on material plane parents this is the first of the squares & rectangles, and tbh its basically canonical. a tiefling is the result of a material plane humanoid being born with fiendish* influence. the word ‘tiefling’ refers specifically to a human with fiendish influence, but is also an umbrella term for ALL fiendish planetouched creatures. these DO have some names mentioned in the play material ! fey’ri = elves, tanarukk = orcs, wisplings = halflings, maeluth = dwarves, etc. so all fiendish planetouched are tieflings, but not all tieflings are human-based. the fiendish influence can be dormant for years or just string along for decades. AnyWay, all of them have horns, most have tails, odd skin or eye colour, and others can have all sorts of extraplanar features. *(fiends are another venn diagram thing in D&D, its an umbrella term for both demons and devils)

AASIMAR height depends on material plane parents aaand this is the second of the squares & rectangles, the not-strictly-canon one. okay duplicate what i said about tieflings, but make it about celestials not fiends, basically lmao. aasimar is an umbrella term, but also a human/celestial planetouched specifically! unlike the above, since its my homebrew concept i dont have other words specifically for other races’ celestial planetouched, but i’ll get there watch this space lol EnyHoo, they all tend to have a strange glow about them in general, but usually in their eyes, and maybe hair especially. it isnt uncommon for them to have a kind of halo around themselves, or glowing glyphs/runes/sigils on or around them either. while MOST dont have full wings, a dusting of feathers isnt unusual. the features of celestials can vary a lot more. for example, unicorns and leonals are actually celestials!

aaand the slightly odd-ball;

WARFORGED height depends on build purpose these are an interesting case, as warforged are actually constructs, brought into this world by the fusing of organic muscle (like wood or leathery material) to an inorganic shell (like stone or metal), imbuing a life-giving fluid of some sort to act like blood, and bringing life to it by a powerful ritual - a unique glyph etched into their heads. as their name suggests they are usually created to become soldiers, or other army positions, although they could be suited to other purposes. unlike most constructs, they are fully self-aware and have a mind on par with humans. they do not need sleep (but require rest) and they also do not naturally reproduce. if they live longer than their purpose, then they are turned loose to deal with the world as they wish. as they are MADE they can vary greatly depending on who made them, and for what exact purpose - although they tend to have beak-like mouths, and 3 digit hands and 2 toed feet.

Universal Guidance- Pick a Card

Welcome back to another pick a card. This is one is mostly centered on where you are on your journey right now and the advice The Divine wants to relay to you. This time Ive done something different. Ive done some shufflemancy and added songs for you to listen for any additional messages. These messages may or may not resonate as its a general reading and thats ok. There are always messages being sent but they wont always be for you. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask God or whoever you feel a bond most strongly with, to help you choose a pile.

+++PLEASE READ! Before you go down to your reading, I wanted to say that the most prevalent theme happening for all groups is that you’re all going through significant change. The Death card and The Last Judgement card came out for all three readings. All of us are experiencing change in different ways. I believe this is something being Divinely orchestrated. Things that need to end and also come to fruition will come to pass, whether you are ready or not. Hang in there everyone. We will get through this.++++++

Pile 1:

While shuffling I saw and got the notion of a journey, or the beginning of one. Traveling. There were sperm whales, mermaid tails, deep sea. Traveling on a rocky mountain, like in LOTR. I also saw a volcano. There was a weird wooden gate, with black bolts that looked like the Dolce & Gabana logo.

Im getting the feeling of stubbornness. Almost as if there is something you know you need to be doing or not doing, and then you dont do it or do it anyway. The Death card was overall energy and then when I went to clarify Princess of Pentacles it came out again- quite quickly too. Is there an ending you are hesitant to release? Maybe it has to do with your habits, mindsets, aspects of yourself, or the people who have served their purpose in your spiritual journey. Regardless, something needs to come to close so that other cycles in your life-whether its having new friends, obtaining a new job, or learning something new, or anything, may begin. It can even be so simple as “The New You” emerging. Its like youre stuck in the past I think, with memories of someone or how you used to be, and now that that has been taken away youre kind of unsure of yourself and where to go. Maybe you feel a little ungrounded and not really confident?...Im really starting to get the feeling that this was a person you were dealing with, and they just couldnt really deliver. Its like being around them for so long has sucked you into weird environments that arent really in your best interests. I know this is a general reading but this is a feeling I cant shake, I apologize if this message does not resonate with you. If it doesnt resonate then it is not for you. This person, was most likely sent for your activation and transformation. Im sorry that its so unpleasant :(. You need to break free from this. Its like youve experienced both the really dark aspects, and now are coming to experience the really light aspects. I think this is what new cycle awaits you, but you are hesitant to let it because you’ve been exposed to that darkness for sometime. Maybe you even comfortable in it because it may be what you expect? This is just one stop on your journey, even though it feels as if it’ll stretch on and on and on. Give yourself time to grieve that which was lost. But remember you must get back up eventually, and begin building your new reality. You arent alone in this. You will soon leave the desolate rocky terrain and move into beautiful meadows filled with flowers. But its up to YOU to go out there and create your reality- your life, your legacy that makes you happy and is for your highest good. You are being pointed in the right direction, you are always being guided. Believe that for yourself no matter what others tell you, or no matter how things seem, or no matter what even you think. Dont let the negativity of others stop your abundance, your uniqueness, and most of all the beauty of your soul. There are some important things for you to consider: 777 and Volcanoes. Pile 2:

While shuffling, I saw an open path with wild grass on either side. The road was made of dirt. There was the word DATE written in red with other words. It looked like some sort of official document. I saw Space, and a blue light being. This pile felt a little dark, like some heavy energy but not too heavy- more like somberness.

I feel like theres this onset of spiritual power, but you may feel as if youre not ready for it or its too much. Or it could even be that you experience emotion very deeply. And so you kind of focus on the material and logical aspects of yourself, almost kind of “rejecting” that spiritual and emotional side. I think you have alot of spiritual gifts, but you dont want to go “too deep”. You are comfortable with seeing tangibility and are used to seeing whats right in front of you. But I believe the doors to the Unknown are being revealed to you. You see all these phenomena happening and you just “Observe” it kind of. Theres this feeling of not wanting to get too involved so you just keep your distance. By that I mean, you just watch and observe things and try to remain unaffected. Its almost as if you putting your spiritual self at arms length is your way of self-defense if that makes sense? Its like youre trying hard to cling to the old you, how you and your life used to be, before all THIS happened. What are you afraid of? Perhaps you are a person who wonders if there is any merit or tangible reward for diving deep and I think if you do decide to dive deep it will feel that way. “Whats the point of it all?” But its to help you embrace your Fire, your gifts so to speak. If you do decide to walk this path of spirituality and embracing yourself, getting comfortable with the unknown, I feel you will be a completely different person. A Complete Rebirth so to speak. And maybe you are scared of that. I think The Divine is trying to point you in this direction. It will get easier. As you begin to walk this path, things will become Clearer. And I feel you will feel so much more “In Tune” with The Divine or whoever you believe in. I see a link, essences intertwining. Whats meant to happen will happen. Fate. Be kind to yourself during this period. Make sure you take the time to ground yourself and even go outside and get a breath of fresh air. It will help clear your head and balance yourself. You are Loved no matter what. You arent alone, you can let your guard down. Important things to consider: Angel Number 66. Pay attention to how you feel, whether it be around others or the emotions you feel in general. I think being near bodies of water, or even moon gazing may help you. I even think carrying selenite around may be of help to you. Remember to take care of yourself mentally and physically! Keep yourself balanced. I felt bliss and happiness. I saw a plant growing. There is this feeling of building something thats here to stay.

Im thinking you guys went through hell and back despite that feeling of bliss I felt when shuffling. Overall theres a overarching theme of having everything in life be on track, but when it comes to love it seems that thats where you begin to run into problems. It could even just be relationships in general. Or rather everything is finally going right, but theres this feeling of something coming to “haunt” you. Something that you’ve thought was over with and finished but manages to come back into your life. I feel like you’ve been through some tough shit and have tried your damned best to make the situation better. Like you’ve broken free from some sort of attachment or restriction but there is still a lingering feeling of obligation, almost as if you still feel the need to give it your energy. Maybe things didnt end on the right foot. Maybe there were things left unsaid. There is a message of unfinished business. But this part of your life will soon be wrapping up. After this hurdle, something new will arise from it. An opportunity that will sprout its way into the physical world. Its very weird, theres this notion of finally seeing the light of day after being surrounded by the night. The first light of the Dawn. Its as if youre running a marathon and youve made it through all these obstacles to reach the finish line. Youre almost there, just a little more. This experience you went through, gave you the wisdom you needed to be where you are in life. It made you who are you are. You have gone through much transformation. Im really proud of you. But The Divine is saying you have to go through this for just a little longer. To Be who you were meant to Be. Understand that whatever happens, it is always within your power to decide how you want to act. You always have the power to choose differently. Always choose what feels right for you. Always choose what you know to be true. What has this journey taught you so far? What lessons have you learned? How have you changed? Use these teachings and apply them to your life and how you want to live. Important things for you to consider: 1010 is significant for you. I believe after this ordeal things will only get better for you. When you feel things are getting out of control or too much, take deep breaths and bring yourself back to the present- back to balance. Remember you are in control of how you respond, you always have a choice. Take it one step at a time too, its ok if you dont get it right away. We have the utmost patience and love for you. Y/n: "Alright alright. Hey Juyeon, help me pick out my outfit for my date today?"

Juyeon: *Hesitates* today? Um, sure. What time ?

Y/n: once our 1 pm class is over? He said theres this garden he wants to show me so I want to look as pretty as the flowers that will be there.

Juyeon: *light chuckle*alright y/n

Y/n: thank you Juyeonieee !!!! *skips away to class *

OtherPOV

Juyeon sees as his bestfriend happily skips away. Letting out a heavy sigh. Feeling a knowing feeling he knows all too well. He loves Y/n. But she has a Boyfriend so he cant do anything about it. Your smile, your laugh, you. It was you. It was complicated.

*Later that evening*

Juyeon sat on your couch while you went to get different outfits. The sound of your rambling when you were choosing outfits to show Juyeon made him laugh to himself.

Y/n: OMG Juyeon. Look okay so how about this skirt with this top? Or should we keep it classic with this top and a pair of ripped jeans?

Juyeon: *finger on chin* mmm both look good. But what do you feel more comfortable in? You will be wearing it for a few hours, and it might get slightly colder tonight.

Y/n: true *looks at self* so the top with the jeans? With a loose upward pony tail??* turns around to look at Juyeon*

Juyeon: uh yeah... That'd be nice.

Y/n : okay !!thank you Juyeonieee . Im gonna go ahead and get ready, stay till i leave so you can help me see how it looks !!! * skips along to bedroom*

Again. He slightly chuckles as he watches you leave. You had that habit. Everytime he said or did something for you you would always call him Juyeonie and skip along almost like an innocence he loved about you. Or when you'd simply look up at him to smile, he loved it about you. The way your eyes would go big and then your eyebrows would go up and down with your mouth slightly open when you'd try to get his attention to make him lose concentration cause you'd gotten bored studying. He enjoyed your habits. Thats when he realized he loved you.

Y/n: Juyeon!!! Help me with this hairclip.

Juyeon: *opens clip and places on head* is this the one i got you?

Y/n: *turns around, looks up* yeah, its really pretty .

Juyeon: yeah..... *looks away with a slight blush*

Y/n: okay. So how do I look? *spins*

Juyeon: * smile forming* Beautiful. You look beautiful y/n...

Y/n: Thank you Juyeonieee.❤I'll see you then!!!. Thanks for helping meee. I'll tell you how it goes!!

Juyeon: okay....

Juyeon didnt want to hear it though. How your boyfriend makes your heat skip a beat. How that smile you give Juyeon was bigger when you were with your boyfriend. How he made you feel in love.... But he was your bestfriend.... And talking about it made you happy, but he felt Jealous.. The way hed get to hold your hand. Or the way youd hug him, or let him lay his head in your lap... He felt jealous.... But there wasnt anything he could do....he was just your bestfriend.

Next day

There were marks on your neck. Evident that your date with your boyfriend went well. But it didnt sit well with Juyeon the moment he saw them.

Juyeon: whats this?

He says it with a different tone than you're used to as he pulls your hair back away from your neck to see them. Things got heated between you and your boyfriend last night, you didnt think anyone would notice since you tried hiding it with makeup but it seems it didnt get passed Juyeon though.

Y/n: * slightly steps back* things got a little heated last night after the date. I tried to cover them up though.

You dont notice the look he gives you as you look away and focus back on the teacher. You heard a clicking sound from him but when you looked at him he turned back to the teacher.

Juyeon was acting off the following days.. He started talking to the college campus beauty and her friends. He would walk her to and from class. And would swing by her table before finding his was to you Which was odd since he said he didnt really like girls who wore so much makeup because it hides their natural beauty. So it was odd that he suddenly had interest in them now. Saying you were feeling a little jealous was something you didnt want to come to terms with. But you couldnt do anyrhing about it since you guys were just friends so you decided to ignore it but youd steal glances every now and then and its make your chest tight. And the way he talks to you were just short responses maybe a hey here and there but that was all.

After the next 3 weeks he would do it. Casually put his arm around her and laugh out loud when you would walk past him. And eventually you had enough of it. And decided to confront him.

Y/n: Juyeon

*silence*

Y/n: Juyeon

*silence*

Tired you pull him by his shirt collar outside to the back of the library.

Y/n: whats up with you? Why have you suddenly changed??

Juyeon: why? Whats wrong with wanting to talk to others ?

Y/n: you know thats not what I mean Juyeon. You have hardly been speaking to me and now its now to nearly nothing. Something is wrong. Please......

*Bell rings*

Y/n:*sigh* meet me at my place to talk Juyeon. I mean it.

You turn to leave , not letting him give you a response. He stood there frozen. Not knowing what to do. He knew if he went , he might mess up and confessing... He didnt know what to do. The desperate look on your face almost made him confess right there. But he bit his tongue.

Lunch time

Juyeon: hey y/n.... I cant make it. Im sorry.

Y/n: LEE JUYEON you WILL come no matter what time it is. Ill wait for you to come. I dont want us to be like this anymore. Please come.

*puppy eyes*

You wre doing it again... Making him speechless... Making him give into you... He didnt want that look on your face. He wanted you to look at him... But not with those eyes... Not ones with sadness and dissapointment in them...

It was 10pm and he still hasnt come... Maybe I did something wrong..

My bf isnt talking to me either... I kept complaining about Juyeon not talking to me anymore and how things were different and he snapped . He didnt want to hear about him anymore and said we should take a break since he said i need to determine who i like more. Him or my bestfriend... Now Ive lost both of them....*sigh*.... *falls alseep*

You didnt hear the door click open. Juyeon had an extra key for when you were sick or needed something and hed fetch it for you. Your boyfriend was always busy except every now and then so giving him one wouldnt have much of a purpose. If you were sick he'd call and say he felt bad you were sick but since he had a weak immune system and didnt want both him and you sick he wouldnt come. But Juyeon never hesitated to. Hed hold up your hair as you would throw up and rub your back for you. He'd wipe you down to lower your body temperature. He'd try and cook porridge and end up messing up it up and calling his mom to make some that was edible instead for you. It was always Juyeon. The one who would remind you that you looked best with bed hair and baggy pjs and tshirts when hed surprise you in the mornings if you had an exam to make sure you ate a good breakfas because that was when you were most comfortable.

But to you. It was all platonic. So you knew better than to fall for him like that...

Blissful in sleep you wake to Juyeon on his knees infront of you. He didnt wake you. He just layed his head on your little table facing you.

You really didn't realize it. But you couldnt help but start to admire him. The way his eyelashes casted a shadow on his cheeks. The way his lips formed a slight pout. You felt yourself smiling. You reach to move a piece of hair out of his face but you quickly retract your hand and turn around and pretend to sleep when you feel he's waking up.

After 5 minutes pass. You hear shuffling. Then a voice in a so quiet almost in a whisper you hear him sigh then ... He starts...

Juyeon:

Y/n.... I like your eyes, and how you look away when you pretend not to care* chuckle*....I like the dimples on the corners of the smile that you wear when you see me.*looks towards the ground* The world may not know but I do. I loved you for so long y/n, sometimes it's hard to bear with it .But after all this time, I hope you can wait and see ... See that Ive loved you every minute.... every second.... I'll love you anywhere and any moment for every moment.Always and forever.... I know ....its wrong... I don't know how its come to this... I cant help that I love the little things about you, like when you're unaware...I catch you steal a glance towards me at times and smile , maybe I misunderstood it... And then sometimes when life brings me down. You're there.... you're the one, I don't know how but it feels like in a world devoid of life, you bring color to it. You are the color in a black and white painting. And in your eyes I see the light. A light i want to follow forever and protect....I love you y/n..... But you're not mine...

He goes quiet again. You slightly turn around to see Juyeon with his face in his hands. Tears running down. Trying to quietly hide his pain..

You reach your hand out to him, and pull his hand away from his face. He looks up at you in shock. But then he quickly turns away. Something about looking at his sad and teary eyes made you lost for words..

Y/n:Juyeon...

You pull him closer to you. Hug him tightly and slowly feel him wrap his arms around you.

Its quiet... As you pet his hair, you can feel his breathing become slower.. He's fallen asleep. You strech your head to see his face. Its stained with tears... His nose a light shade of pink... And his lips in a small pout....

Almost as if on cue, his eyes flutter open and look at you . And as he quietly looks at you you whisper back....

Y/n: ..... I love you too Juyeon...

Juyeon:..... Huh? Wait what?

Now he was fully awake now. And it looked like he was trying to see if he was dreaming. And with a giggle you turn his face to yours and press them together with his. As shock spreads on his face you smile at him and repeat the words

Y/n: I love you Juyeon

And almost instantly he smiles a smile bigger than you've seen and this time he is the one who grabs your face and presses a kiss to your lips. He presses his forehead against yours and chuckles to himself as he closes his eyes and smiles

Juyeon: Im glad... Im glad I came....
