#and klaus convinces him not to go off to war

Every umbrella academy character ranked
Prior to Season 4 coming this year, thought I'd share my character rank with you for the first 3 seasons all together. (Spoilers ahead)
#33- Marcus, Jayme, Alphonso and Fei
Painfully insignificant and underdeveloped. Their only character traits being "spoiled and a bit evil" made them EXTREMELY captivating villians...
#32- Christopher
Only higher because I find the idea of someone carrying around a cube on a stick onset really funny.
#31- Sparrow Ben
Hard to watch honestly, especially in comparison to his lovely counterpart Umbrella Ben.
In general, the Sparrows were terrible and pointless characters, and clearly the writers knew this because most were killed off pretty quickly. All except for Sparrow Ben, which just meant we had to suffer watching him for even longer.
#30- Viktor
This is a controversial choice. He is tolerable in season 1, but then just becomes a moochy emo sod who is boring to watch. I don't know if it's the acting, script or both, but he’s just such a meek and flavourless character who is PARTICULARLY bad in season 3 when he jeopardises his whole family and is repeatedly selfish and has a victim complex.
#29- Luther
He caused the apocalypse in season one and you can't convince me otherwise. Got some alamaba shit going on with Allison...
There are so many reasons I hate Luther. He's a self-centred man child who couldn't care less about his siblings and their feelings, showing zero empathy to Klaus or Vanya, for example. He only shows respect and kindness when he is attracted to the person (As shown when seasons 1 and 2 he is only nice to Allison, then completely ignores her when he moves on to Sloane) or when they pose as an authority figure to him. All he does is whine and feel sorry for himself.
What's that? You lived in the apocalypse all alone for 40 years? You are addicted to drugs and lost the love of your life in a war? You have a power you can't control and a lifetime of rejection? WELL LUTHER WENT TO THE MOON
#28- Carl Cooper
Hated him as a character but he was a menacing villian which I can respect
#27- Harlan
Couldn't care less about him, only there for plot convenience and Victor's arc pretty much
#26- Sloane
An improvement from Luther's literal sibling. Further evidence that Luther will simply fall for any woman who gives a flying fuck about the moon.
Personality: attracted to Luther
#25- Pogo
Basil exposition of the first series
#24- Detective Patch
Barely remember her
#23- The Swedes
They were kind of goofy as villians but there was some good acting and they posed a real threat. Cute moments with the cats. In general, alright, but they could have easily been replaced plot wise with something more interesting.
#22- Cha Cha
Lack of character development for me. I think she deserved to be fleshed out more, I don't think it's fair that only her partner got to be a three-dimensional being. What are her motivations? Who is she underneath it all?
But overall i liked the acting and she was a good villian.
#21- That hotel worker from season 3
He's barely a character but I liked his sass so he's on the list.
#20- Reggie (Reginald Hargreeves)
He is supposed to be the main antagonist/villian of the show, yet The Handler stole his spotlight. He's a bit too stereotypically evil and asshole-ish for me, basically twiddling his moustache and stroking a cat in a dark corner the entire show. The delivery is too blunt and that doesn't help to build the tension and mystery surrounding him as much, but if he were more complicated and cryptic in his personality it would be more effective.
This is very nit picky and overall Reggie is fine. He has some hilarious moments with Klaus in season 3 and I am genuinely intrigued about the unanswered questions surrounding him.
#19- Elliott
He wasn't a particularly important or central character but I enjoyed it when he was on screen and he played his role convincingly. He was a good comic relief in some scenes, and when he died (spoiler alert) the reactions from other characters were realistic and quite impactful. I felt for him throughout, which is impressive for less significant characters and he had a lot of depth relative to the size of his role.
#18- Destiny's children
Not a singular character, but I LOVED Destiny's children. It fit Klaus's character perfectly to have a cult and led to some of the funnies moments in the series.
#17- Dave
From the very limited moments we see with this character, a lot of personality and emotion was communicated, and I feel like we got a big sense of the character. That is down to the brilliant acting from both of Dave's actors and from Robert Sheehan that really sold this character with so little screen time.
Anyway please come back to life Dave! Death doesn't look good on you!
#16- Agnes (Donut woman)
Very sweet and I wish her all the best in life.
#15- Sissy
BRILLIANTLY acted and impactful. Stole every scene between her and Vanya.
Also, she looks EXACTLY like Sheldon's mum in young sheldon...
#14- Herb and Dot
I want to put them both in my pocket and protect them from harm.
#13- Kenny's mum
Again, barely present but I love her. She's a queen. I would go to a rave with Kenny's Mum.
#12- Stan
I love Stan, and he's a big part of Diego and Lila's character development and motivations. I hope they adopt Stan and live happily ever after.
But yeah, great one-liners from Stan.
#11- Grace
Very well acted and haunting.
Top 10 *drumroll please*
#10- Harold Jenkins (Lenoard Peabody)
Again, quite a controversial placement, but I stand by my decision. The acting and delivery of Harold Jenkins as a villain is possibly the best in the whole show. I was totally convinced Lenoard was a nice guy and I was rooting for him and Vanya, until he started dropping hints and slowly revealing his true self and losing the facade and its... it's chefs kiss. So realistic. The actor deserves an award and a standing ovation.
The writers also deserve a pat on the back for this one because he has a convincing motivation and backstory, and the dialogue is DELICIOUS when it comes to Lenoard. He is a truly menacing villain without being overtly scary and powerful and dangerous.
Tumblr media
#9- Ray
Charismatic, gentlemanly, empathetic, loving, trusting, supportive... Ray is THE IDEAL MAN. I'm a little bit in love with Ray so I don't blame Allison.
HUGE step up from Luther, for sure.
Tumblr media
#8- Umbrella Ben
I would have liked to see more of his character, but I liked what I did see. He loves his siblings and shows it. He is selfless and sacrifices his own existence for Vanya, he is blunt with Klaus because he cares and wants him to improve. Of course, he and Klaus are also a hilarious duo.
Tumblr media
#7- Hazel
One of the most touching arcs that offers an insightful message about what life is for, and about Love. Beautifully acted, a very real and lovable character who probably resonates with many in some ways. Hazel is adorable and i miss him in later seasons.
Tumblr media
#6- The Handler
I LOVE THE HANDLER MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPLAIN!!! Funny, playful, entertaining, uexpected and whimsical and yet simultaneously dark and menacing, AMAZING villian that stole EVERY SINGLE SCENE she was in. Kate Walsh was the perfect choice for the role and she played it to perfection.
A bit of trivia about the role, The Handler was originally written for a man, and when Kate Walsh got the role she insisted they didn't change the script (which, let's be honest, they would have.) She put a wonderful spin on it and it's just perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. I would 100% watch a spinoff all about the handler. Season 3 was worse than the previous two thanks to them killing her off (amongst other questionable plot choices)
Tumblr media
#5- Allison
Allison was the only character who knew what they were doing, and honestly, if everyone just listened to Allison, there would be no apocalypse. Her storyline losing both Claire and Ray and her powers driving her crazy with power breaks my heart but is well portrayed and impactful.
She's charismatic, clever, strong, and kind. I love Allison and I think most of us do.
Tumblr media
#4- Diego
He's stupid but in an endearing way, I find him to be so entertaining and funny, and the actor's face is like an open book. He's not show-stopping but his consistent presence just sets the mood and allows others to act off of him, while he really sells it with his expressions. He's like the rock of the show.
Tumblr media
#3- Lila
Lila. Mi amor. Mon amour. Amore mio. Meine Leibe.
Tumblr media
#2- Five
For several reasons:
A) He is the daddy here, Luther!!
B) That should be the only reason you need
Seriously, though, I was SUPER impressed with Aidan Gallagher and his incredible screen presence, especially at such a young age. He really embodies the character. Five is the face of the Umbrella Acadamy, and is undoubtedly the most iconic character. 10/10, two thumbs up, absolutely BRILLIANT.
Tumblr media
#1- Klaus
No justification necessary.

Henrik Mikaelson is the youngest of the Mikaelson siblings, born three or four years after his sister Rebekah, and the one that caused his parents to curse his siblings, and himself. He was close with his siblings, not one to fight with any of them, especially his brother Niklaus and his sister Rebekah. Henrik seemed to show no sign of having his own magic, though his mother thought he would as the pregnancy had felt differently then her six other ones, weaker than the other pregnancies because she was being drained of her magic, having it siphoned from her by her unborn son. He didn’t spend as much time with his parents, but more time with his siblings, and much like his other siblings he was scared of his father.
Henrik first saw his elder brothers, Elijah and Niklaus, start fighting when they started showing interest in the same girl, Tatia. Henrik never saw the appeal of the doppelganger but he knew why. Tatia showed everyone in the Mikaelson family love, even if the Mikaelson didn’t really like her. Henrik liked the fact that she treated him nicely though she had both his brothers pitted against each other. As he got older he got more curious about the world around him. And that morbid curiosity led to his untimely death, or so his siblings thought.
He was fourteen when his curiosity got the best of him. It was the night of the full moon. Henrik wanted to see the men shift into beasts. He convinced Niklaus, who was distraught when Tatia chose Elijah, to sneak out with him to see the men turn. Niklaus, not in the right state of mind, took him out that night. They witnessed the shift and a magical moment for the two brothers had turned bad. One of the werewolves saw the brothers and started running after them. Niklaus quickly found a hiding place thinking Henrik was not far behind him, but the youngest male had been caught and the wolf started to maul him. Niklaus watched the wolf wander off before he ran over to his brother’s lifeless body and carried him back into the village, in tears over his error of judgment in bringing the youngest Mikaelson out to see the men shift.
When they got to the village Niklaus screaming for their mother Rebekah came running out seeing her little brother’s body in her older brother’s arms. Shortly Esther and Elijah joined the three as well as Ayanna. Esther pleaded with the other witch about there being a way for them to save him. Ayana knew the boy wasn’t dead, not completely but told them otherwise. She noticed Henrik’s body was healing itself, having siphoned the magic from the werewolves, this observation caused her to cast a spell on the body, duplicating his body to hide what was going on from other witches, him being considered an abomination to witches. But when she didn’t count on Esther turning her remaining children, and her husband, into vampires. To protect them from the wolves and wage a thousand year war on the two species. Esther learned of the fellow witch’s betrayal upon coming to visit her for rings for her children and seeing the boy’s body, but before Esther could do anything Klaus had killed their mother after her betrayal of containing his werewolf side. Ayana woke him up after the Mikaelson’s left the area, returning overseas for awhile, and raised him until he was 21, having watched him marry one of her children. When he was 21, Ayana turned Henrik into a vampire casting a similar spell to Esther’s but using the blood of his wife - one of her daughter’s - later known to be Bennett blood.
When Henrik awoke into the transition state, now the physical age of 21 , he felt the insatiable need to feed, and his first victim was Ayana, whom before he fed on gave him a daylight ring that looked just like his siblings, and the villagers that inhabited the area she had moved herself, and him, to. When he drained Ayana of her blood he had also drained her of her magic, gaining a thirst for both blood and magic. Because he was a siphoner, when he drained Ayana of her magic he was able to use stronger spells than he had as a human. The thirst didn’t seem to fade as he made his way through the village. He had fallen asleep the first night after he slaughtered the village and dreamed of his mother. Henrik, in the dream state, hugged his mother tightly before she pushed him away from her a bit before telling him that he cannot have any contact with his siblings not until she is sure they have gotten used to the new life she’s given them. She gave all of her children a new life, a better life than what would have been promised to them had they stayed human in the village they settled in.
Over the course of the past thousand years Henrik has bounced around all over the world, not having anything or anyone tying him down to one place. During the late 15th Century he spent time in Spain where in late 1491/early 1492 he fell in love with Isabella of Aragon, the daughter of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, who were the leaders of Spain at the time. In order to grant Isabella the life she was used to, life as a royal, and the life she wanted, marriage and motherhood, Henrik had to leave. He couldn’t provide her with those luxuries. He joined Christopher Columbus’s crew to travel to the New World, where he had been born through winding up exploring the Gulf. He stayed for all four voyages under the alias of Henri, working as a translator and later becoming a captain on one of the three ships that made the voyages.
After the voyages were over, Henrik had become in love with life on the sea and had become a pirate captain located in the Caribbeans. His crew respected him, and some even feared him executing a crew member in front of them all for questioning the orders he had given the person. He then told the rest of the crew that if they followed the other’s example and questioned him they would meet a similar fate, and his crew never questioned him - nor was there a mutiny among his people. He remained captain of his ship until he was arrested and hanged for high treason and piracy. He, of course, survived but it was the perfect way to end his life as a pirate. He got on a ship and went back to England arriving in 1590, taking up the alias of William Shakespeare, though once arriving in England compelling a young man to be him in the public’s eye. He was also tutored by his brother Klaus Mikaelson keeping the facade up and not wanting his brother to know it was him, especially after seeing what his brother had become. He kept the alias up even after the man who he had compelled had died in his 50s. He wrote The Two Noble Kinsmen which wasn’t printed until after the death of the male he had pretended to be Shakespeare. He kept writing even after that but stopped publishing his stuff, keeping them with him as he traveled around.
After England he traveled around a bit before winding up in Austria during the 18th Century where he started to learn to compose music under Mozart with the alias of Alexander Goss. Once he felt he learned all he could he changed his last name before he started to learn under Beethoven at the beginning of the 19th Century, as Alexander Voigt, becoming an assistant helping the composer as his hearing started to go. Once Beethoven had lost his hearing all together Henrik left Austria and found his way to Russia where he became Dmitri Petrov where he learned to compose under Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to master yet another style of composing music. He stayed in Russia until after the fall of the Romanov family. He turned Anastasia, the 17 year old heiress, after the two had fallen in love with each other.
He was a guard to the family during their time ‘out of the spotlight’ when he fell in love with her. He had learned of what was to become of her and gave her his blood, only with her approval, and after her assassination she became a vampire. Making her a daylight ring after they fled Russia so she could travel during the daytime, they sailed to the United States. Anastasia was the only person in Russia to have known the real Henrik, not the man he was pretending to be Dmitri.
Upon coming to the United States during the 1920s he got into the bootlegging business, teaching his girlfriend how to shoot a gun, in case she ever needed to use it, though she could just use her vampire abilities to defend herself. Anastasia leaned towards being more of a monster then Henrik had liked and the two split and Henrik traveled down to New Orleans where he met a young vampire named Marcel Gerard. The two quickly became friends as Henrik was the supplier, bringing in his own bourbon from the distillery he had started outside of Memphis, for Marcel’s speakeasy. Henrik went by the name Rik around Marcel, glad that he chose that alias rather than going by Henrik like he originally intended, once he learned Marcel was very much linked to not one, but four of his siblings and had met an additional sibling. And that he had missed them by about a year. He stayed in New Orleans until 1940.
Once leaving New Orleans he traveled to Greece where he found a vineyard on a mountain side that was failing, the owners were wasting the money on stuff they didn’t need. So he bought it from them, having earned money over the years from his various adventures. He started making wine and got into the wine business, while running his bourbon distillery from Greece. Once he found someone to manage the vineyard he left and traveled back to Italy, five years after taking over the vineyard, and opened a hotel in a building he had once been living in when he last was there, and made it into a hotel. He stayed for five years, to the point where it was making a profit, and then traveled to New York, doing the same there before going to Florida and opening a hotel on the beach there, along with a club, staying there for ten years until both were making a profit and staying that way. Then he traveled to Las Vegas where he opened a hotel and casino. He stayed for five years before he saved a young female, a siphoner just like he was, which when she completed her transition she was like him, a vampire/witch hybrid.
Rosemary followed Henrik out of Las Vegas once the hotel and casino were up and running, making a profit and leaving them in the hands of a trustworthy manager. They traveled to Tokyo, where they’ve been since 1990, opening up another hotel and staying until Henrik got a phone call one night while he was working from his mother telling him it was time for him to come home to the family. Before he could ask where she hung up and soon a text message appeared with coordinates and he figured out where he was supposed to go.

The Umbrella Academy: Firecracker - The Day that Wasn't (6/30)
Tumblr media
Umbrella Academy Masterlist
warning: nothing actually
word count: 3490
Wednesday, 8:15 AM. The Umbrella Academy.
"Three days?", Allison asked handing everyone their coffees.
"That's what Five said.", Luther confirmed.
"That bastard did mention the apocalypse now that think of it.", Klaus commented sitting next to Nailah on the sofa. "He just left out the part how soon."
"But can we trust him? I don't know if you've noticed but Five's a little...", Allison swirled her finger next to her head signalling craziness.
"Our little psycho.", Nailah chuckled affectionately which earned her a disdained look from Diego.
"He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him.", Luther assured.
"That's why they were after him?", Diego asked clearly still in disbelief.
"What did Five even see?", Allison asked Luther.
Luther began stuttering:"Uh, apparently, we all fought together against whoever is responsible." Everyone looked at him expectantly.
Luther just stood in front of them in a presenting manner: "Okay. So, here's the plan. We go through dad's research..."
"Wait, what?", Allison interrupted him.
"Wait a tick. What actually happened the first time around?", Klaus asked. At the word tick, Nailah straightened her back. Hurriedly she grabbed a notebook and pencil that were lying around and began aggressively scribbling some numbers, symbols and letters. Everyone looked at her in confusion but chose to ignore it.
"Yeah, what are you not telling us? Come on big boy, spit it out.", Diego asked. Luther looked at Nailah in a questioning manner. "Don't look at me. You're Number One, Primo.", she said not looking up from the paper.
Luther sighed heavily:"We died.", he said and took a large sip from his coffee.
"What was that?", Allison asked not quite believing what she just heard.
"He said we died.", Nailah helped him out. Everyone looked at each other in shock.
"It is just us?", Allison asked.
"No, it's everybody."
"In the house?"
"No, outside the house. The whole planet dies."
"Hey, what's going on?", they all turned around to face Vanya who was now standing in the saloon with Leonard by her side. Nailah's gaze darkened and Allison was equally pleased to see him there.
"It's a family matter.", Allison said and immediately bit her tongue.
"A family matter.", Vanya repeated. "So you couldn't bother to include me."
"No, it's not like that. We were...", Allison tried to rescue herself but to no avail.
"Don't let me interrupt.", Vanya said in a sad voice and turned around to leave the house.
"Wait. I'll fill you in later, when we're done.", Allison followed her.
"Please, please don't bother. And I won't either.", Vanya said facing Allison. Leonard positioned himself right behind her to which Nailah silently moved to do the same behind Allison. Even though Nailah had absolutely no opinion about Leonard she didn't like him securing Vanya's back the way he did. It was almost as if he was showing off his toy that had learned to speak.
"That's not fair.", Allison said.
"Fair? There's nothing fair about being your sister. I have been left out of everything for as long as I can remember. And I used to think it was dad' fault. But he's dead. So it turns out you're the assholes. Especially you two. Always two against one.", the last part Vanya clearly directed at Nailah standing behind Allison.
Vanya left the room leaving Leonard behind. He scanned both sisters with an unreadable expression. Allison and Nailah both send him a warning glance and he too followed Vanya to the exit. Walking back to the group Nailah whispered to Allison:"I get why you don't trust him." Allison send her a grateful glance.
"I'm gonna find Vanya and explain.", Allison announced but Luther stopped her: "Wait! There isn't time. We need to figure out what causes the apocalypse."
"Now, there are loads of possibilities. Nuclear war, asteroids but I'm thinking this is about the moon.", Luther began.
"The moon?", Nailah asked crossing her arms.
"Dad must've send me up there for a reason. And I was giving him daily updates on the conditions, I send him field samples. The first thing we need to do is find his research." ,Luther explained.
"Hold the phone. We all died fighting this thing the first time around, remember?", Klaus said sprawled out on the bar.
"Klaus shockingly has a point. What gives us a win this time?", Diego asked.
"Five. Last time we didn't have him. We weren't all together.", Luther said while Klaus paled dramatically clearly not feeling well.
"Yeah, where is he, by the way? I might have a solution to his problem.", Nailah said waving the notebook full of equations.
"Well, he had a plan to change the timeline. He'll be back soon.", Luther said and Nailah scoffed.
"Great. Then I'll just run the tests by myself.", Nailah scoffed and went upstairs too get some more of her old calculations.
"I'm going after Hazel and Cha-Cha.", Diego announced gathering his stuff and joined Nailah on the stairwell.
"Look, I know you wanna avenge your friend, but we've got bigger problems here.", Luther tried to stop Diego.
"She wasn't just some friend! If I'm gonna die, I need to know that I killed those bastards first.", Diego  shouted shaking off Luther's hand from his shoulder.
"Klaus?", Luther asked confused at the sight of a stumbling Klaus.
Klaus didn't react until Luther shouted at him. "Yes! Sorry. What do you want?"
"So what? You're giving up on the world, too?", Luther asked.
"Yeah. Pretty much. Mm-hmm.", Klaus confirmed.
"So that's it. You're cool with all of us dying in three days?"
Klaus just turned around groaning not bothering to further engage in this conversation. Luther scoffed turning to Allison. "I can't believe it. It's just us.", he said but immediately spotted the regret on Allison's face.
"Oh, please. Not you too.", he sighed.
"I have to book a flight back to LA. If this happens I have to be with my daughter, custody be damned. And you've said it yourself... we need the full force of the Academy to even stand a chance. I'm sorry, Luther.", Allison gently stroked Luther's cheek and she too left the room.
"Ah, shit.", Diego groaned trying to tie his boots. His broken arm was absolutely killing him.
"Hey.", Klaus said shyly appearing in the doorway with a bundle of rope around his shoulders.
"Hey, uh.. do you mind?", Diego asked.
"Oh yea, yea sure. I'll tie that up. If you tie me up later.", Klaus said tossing Diego the rope.
"Come again?", Diego asked confused.
"Sounds kinky.", Nailah commented appearing behind Klaus with a dark backpack filled to the brim with books and notebooks.
"How is it that you always seem to have more scientific stuff in your room?  It's like a black hole.", Klaus asked in a sleazy voice.
Nailah shrugged:"Science isn't a hobby. It's a lifestyle full of year long research. What'd you do anyways?" She motioned her head to Diego's arm.
"A souvenir from Hazel.", he said. "Again, why's you need me to tie you up?", Diego asked Klaus again.
"You know, last time I was sober was that roaring good time when those freaks had me tied up in the motel room.", Klaus said.
"You are one twisted bonehead.", Diego snarled.
"Why? You're that one that's always like 'Klaus, you need to. get sober, bro.'"
"There's better ways to get clean, though."
"Not for me there isn't. I need someone to take away my options."
"Fine. But she's coming too. I'm defiantly not taking full responsibility for this.", Diego said tossing the rope to Nailah.  "Fine by me.", she said and they all made their way to the attic.
Luther was frantically looking for any sign of his samples but to no avail.
"Everything alright, Master Luther?", Pogo asked.
Luther spun around facing the ape: "Where are they? The boxes, the reports, the samples? All the correspondence I sent from the moon?"
"I'm not sure. Your father was a very private person... ", Pogo began.
"Stop it, Pogo! You know everything out dad did.", Luther panted heavily.
Pogo sighed in defeat and pointed to the floor with his cane. Luther immediately tipped the wooden foorpiece out and began scattering the packets he had send from the moon all over the floor. To his confusion he saw that they were all unopened.
Diego and Nailah had chained Klaus to the chair and were now circling him with the rope.
"I hate this room.", Diego grunted annoyed.
"Tighter, higher.", Klaus ordered sweating.
Nailah looked at him with scepticism and then at Diego. She shrugged and both she and Diego pulled harder.
Klaus winced: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ah! Ahh!"
"Yeah, if I see a boner, I'm done.", Nailah said with a disgusted look on her face. "That would be too weird even for me."
Diego glared at her. "What?", she asked. "Too weird even for you? Didn't know that existed."
"You're one to talk. You're in spandex trying to make a reasonable impression."
"It's leather."
"Whatever."
Nailah and Diego glared at each other again.  "End of the world and you wanna get sober all of a sudden. Don't get me wrong, man. Good by you. But I'd think you'd wanna pop every pill on the planet.", Diego scoffed at Klaus.
"Yeah, that thought crossed my mind, believe me, but there's something I need to do, and the whole pesky thing doesn't seem to work unless I'm sober.", Klaus groaned.
"Is this about conjuring the one you lost?", Nailah asked softly.
"What was her name?", Diego asked after a minute of silence from Klaus.
"His name was Dave. We soldiered together at the A Shau Valley in the Mountain of the Crouching Beast.", Klaus corrected.
"Well, Dave must've bee a very special person to put up with your weird-ass shit.", Diego said and earned a light slap from Nailah on the back of her head and a tired chuckle from Klaus.
"Yeah. Yeah, he was... kind. And strong. And vulnerable. And... beautiful. And I was...  foolish enough to follow him all the way to the front line.", Klaus lost himself in the memories for a moment.
"You fought in the shit?", Diego asked impressed.
"Oh, yeah, baby."
"How'd they let you do that?", Nailah asked.
"Let me? War couldn't take enough bodies. Please. Including his.", Klaus sniffed sadly.
Nailah looked at Diego then back at Klaus. She carefully leaned down and put her arms around Klaus. Everybody knew Nailah hated being touched and Klaus enjoyed the demonstration of affection, knowing it came from the depths of her heart.
"Hey, look at us. Loggin' in some quality sibling time before the end of the world.", Klaus commented when Nailah let him go.
"Yeah, might as well.", Diego said securing the last part of the rope.
"Everyone I like is already dead.", Diego mumbled to himself. "Ah, yes. The lady cop.", Klaus said. "Yeah, mom, too. I let them both down. So here I am. Alone with you two."
Klaus looked at his siblings in an affectionate manner. Diego pat his shoulder and both he and Nailah made there way down.
"Ah, shit!", Klaus shouted in the last second. "What?", Diego and Nailah asked in unison.
"I need to pee.", Klaus confessed.
"Not it!", Nailah screamed running down the stairs.
"Nailah!", Diego shouted after her. He sighed and made his way to untie Klaus again.
Allison quietly entered Reginald's old study where Luther was sitting on the floor.
"So, I couldn't get out a flight until tonight, and I don't know what to do. I can't just sit here so I'm gonna head to the airport and wait.", she said.
"I just wanted to say goodbye.", she added after Luther didn't react.
"Luther?", she asked placing a hand on his shoulder. Luther inhaled sharply.
"I've found dad's research from my mission on the moon.", he said in a dead voice. Allison looked around the room confused.
"Every single package was still sealed. He never opened them because he never cared what I was doing up there.", Luther continued. "Four years of my life. A lie."
"What an asshole.", Allison commented.
"I'm not the right person to stop this apocalypse, Allison."
"Hey, Luther. Don't say that"
"No, the world needs a leader and I'm not it. I'm not. Dad knew it and now I know it. I'm done."
Allison smiled mischievously. "Can I show you something?", she asked.
Allison led Luther to the for they had build as kids. They shared a sweet moment together which included over ten year long expired sodas and Allison showing Luther that she still had the locket he had given her.
"You know what? I think I'm okay. I think it's better if I don't do this.", Klaus said standing up from the chair having changed his mind about contouring Dave.
"Nope. Sit down.", Diego said putting a warning hand on Klaus' chest.
"Diego, listen. Listen. Just listen.",  Klaus began and tried to run past his brother but Diego knew the drill. He quickly punched Klaus in the stomach and dragged him to the chair.
"Damn it, Diego! Stop! Stop it! No, no! Get off!"
Diego grabbed Klaus in a death lock. "Shut up! "
"I can conjure her for you. Patch. I can...", Klaus began in desperation.
"Don't use her name like that!", Diego screamed. "You can't conjure shit until you're clean. I don't wanna see her until I can tell her that I've buried those bastards that killed her."
"Please, Diego. Please.", Klaus begged but Diego only fastened the rope.
Diego reached for a blue bucket nearby slamming it on the floor causing Klaus to flinch: "This is for next time, hmm? Puke, pee whatever you need. Multipurpose. See?"
Diego stood up angrily and left the attic without looking back.
Klaus shouted after him:"Diego! Come back! Diego, you prick!"
In Nailah's apartman hell seemed to have been loose. Loud, harsh rock music was playing through all possible speakers as Nailah scribbled around her notebooks in frustration.
"Where the hell are you, Five.", she mumbled to herself angry that she wasn't able to solve the equations by herself.
She'd had a brilliant idea. Hell, she'd even been snooping around Five's room in hopes of finding some useful information but all she found were time and space altering functions.
Nailah got up from her chair and took another sample of her blood. After quickly checking it under the microscope she then placed it in the pod and changed the parameters with the variables she had gotten from her last calculations. She let the pod close with a dull thumb and set it to 5 minutes. This should equal about a month of aging.
The machine whirred and then went silent. Only the green screen indicated that it was still working. Nailah sighed in exhaustion and ruffed her curly hair out as if to shake out the nerves. Why wasn't it working.
As soon as the 5 minutes were over, Nailah placed the blood sample under the microscope. Stunned she actually saw changes. Quickly she placed the sample in her Ager and waited for the result. With a quiet ping the screen was illuminated with exactly 2.678.400 seconds more age than before it was placed in the pod. Nailah nearly screamed in happiness.
It had worked.
Quickly she grabbed Five's bloody bandage she had found in his room. She checked the vitality of the blood and as soon as she was sure it was still living, she placed it in the Ager. It showed pretty exactly the age of a 13year old body.
Happily she placed the sample in the pod. She adjusted the parameters to fit Five's specifics as well as his ability to time travel. She had a long time ago figured out the molecular and biochemical differences between him and the rest of their siblings.
The machine whirred again and after 5 minutes Nailah put the sample in the Ager again. She began chewing on her nails, nervous if. it had worked. The Ager pinged quietly making her jump up. Nailah glanced at the screen.
2.678.400 seconds more than before.
Nailah Hargeeves had just managed to artificially age up an organism without damaging it.
What an addition to her portfolio it would be.
Vanya leaned down in Leonard's house to pick up socks he had forgotten to take with him to put in the dryer. Something in a familiar red color flashed before her eyes. Leaning down further Vanya peaked under the bed and pulled the object out.
It was a red notebook with golden letters on it: R.H.
Reginald Hargreeves.
Vanya opened a page and scanned the contents. They were all about her. Number Seven.
Why did Leonard have this?
Five grabbed a briefcase from the commission's storage room. The commission was going down in flames, or at least Five hoped it did. He may not have the capacity to end it but he very much had to capacity to cause havoc.
Five ran out of the storage room leaving a grenade inside. A few seconds later the storage room exploded. Five opened the briefcase. He could only hope he travelled enough time back to save the world.

Wednesday, 8:15 AM. The Umbrella Academy.  (...again)
The air around the bar began swishing and crackling with electricity. A blue light appeared and Five fell down from thin air onto the bar.
The siblings stared at Five for a moment in silence.
"You guys, am I still high or do you see him too?", Klaus asked.
"I'm not high and I see him.", Nailah said moving some strands of Five's bangs from his forehead to see if he was still breathing.
"Five, where have you been?", Luther asked.
"Are you okay?", Allison wanted to know. Five just rolled down the bar nearly injuring himself even more.
The group spotted his scratched face full of soot and blood. "Who did this to you?", Nailah asked in a tone mixed out of. disgust and concern.
Five spared her a glance: "Irrelevant." He grabbed Allison's coffee mug and emptied it in one huge gulp. Nailah scoffed at the arrogance.
"So, the apocalypse is in three days. The only chance we have to save our world is, well, us."
"The Umbrella Academy", Luther confirmed.
"But with me, obviously.", Five added.
"Modest.", Nailah commented.
"So if y'all don't get your sideshow acts together and get over yourselves we're screwed. Who cares if dad messed us up? Are we gonna let that define us? No. And to give us a fighting chance to see next week I've come back with a lead.", Five announced holding a piece of paper up.
"I know who's responsible for the apocalypse. This is who we have to stop.", he handed the note to Allison.
"Harold Jenkins?", Klaus asked confused.
"Who the hell is Harold Jenkins?", Diego added at the same time.
"That's what we have to find out. Nailah, how are you doing on the aging me up thing?", Five slurped the last bit of his second coffee.
Nailah raised a brow: "What's that now? What happened with getting over ourselves and getting. our sideshow acts together?"
"Will you, please, for once, just cooperate and answer the question?", Five sighed.
"Not quite done yet. But I'm close.", she said.
Five nodded satisfied:"I suppose that's better than nothing." Nailah scoffed in annoyance.
"Guys? Mind figuring that out later? We're kind of in the middle of saving the world.", Diego interrupted.

The Umbrella Academy, Ep.1x05 – Number Five
Right now, I think the only storyline that I’m not that interested in is Vanya’s.  I mean, I know enough about the comics to know this storyline is important.  It’s just, at this point, it’s like I’m watching a…well, I was going to say a bad Lifetime movie, but what other kind is there?
Anyway, Allison tells Vanya that she feels something is off about Leonard.  Vanya doesn’t believe her…blah, blah, blah, goes to meet him for coffee. There, they have the basic…you know what, the only thing that’s important form that scene is we find out there are tryouts for the first chair.  Why?  Because the woman who was first chair has suddenly disappeared.  Oh, gee, I wonder if Leonard did something to her.  Allison decides to do research on Leonard and discovers she can’t find anything about him (except she finds his address).  Allison tries to tell Vanya, but Vanya doesn’t listen (though, to be fair, the way Allison explains what she’s doing doesn’t exactly make her seem, um, rational).  Anyway, Vanya goes to tryouts and as she plays, we see her powers kick in for the first time (except for that one flashback).  Although it’s clear that Vanya doesn’t know what’s happening as her emotions have always been suppressed by the drugs.
As Vanya’s auditioning, Allison breaks into Leonard’s home.  She just about to go into the attic when, would you know it, Leonard comes home.  Later, Vanya comes over to celebrate as she got first chair and as they’re, um, celebrating we see Vanya’s powers waft (I don’t know how else to explain it) up into the attic, past the dead body, out of the house, over the city, and into the mansion; which Pogo seems to notice (?).
Speaking of Pogo, we have two brief scenes with him.  In the first one, he is clearly trying to repair Mom.  In the second one, the scene where he may have noticed the power, Mom is fixed.  Pogo asks Mom if she knows what happened to her and she says she does.  He then makes it clear that they “children” can never know about it.
As for everyone else, we’ll start with Klaus.  Klaus, who clearly was teleported through time last episode, returns from what looks like a war.  As we find out, he seems to have been in ‘Nam.  And he’s very shaken up and sullen because he’s lost someone he truly loved.  The first thing he does is destroy the briefcase.
Meanwhile, Diego is pissed as his ex was killed and he’s looking for revenge.  Of course, he’s going to do it on his own.
Number Five comes home and sees the state the Klaus is in.  He realizes quickly that Klaus has traveled through time and asks him where the briefcase is.  Naturally, Five’s upset that it was destroyed; but Klaus doesn’t care and leaves the room. Afterwards, we see Five clearly writing a note saying he has the briefcase.
Diego has also returned to the mansion to pick up more weapons.  Klaus tries to hitch a ride and, at first, Diego refuses.  But in the end, takes Klaus with him.  As they’re driving, Diego realizes that something is…more off then usual with Klaus.  Klaus refuses to talk about it and tells Diego to drop him off at a spot for the local VFW. Of course, one of the local ‘Vets thinks Klaus couldn’t possibly be one of them.  Diego, who followed Klaus in, tries to calm the situation down; but it ends in a fight.
Back at the mansion, Luther finds that Number Five has come up with a plan to possibly save the world. Five has done the calculations and found the four people that, if they were to die before the event that destroys the world, the event may not happen.  Luther, at first,….I wouldn’t say goes along with it; but accepts that these people may be villains that may have to be dealt with.  However, once he finds out they’re innocents, Luther refuses to allow Five to act.  Five, meanwhile, has pulled out his father’s gun and is planning to leave.  Luther is able to stop him by….threatening to drop Deloris out the window.  Five drops the gun in order to save Deloris and Luther takes the gun.  Luther is able to convince Five that there is another way, if Five would just let the family help him.
As all of this is going on, Cha-Cha is reading Vanya’s autobiography to find out more about the family. Meanwhile, Hazel (who’d been looking for the briefcase) stops in at the Donut shop and speaks to our favorite waitress. And it seems like there’s something going on between the two.  Unfortunately for Hazel, Diego sees Hazel at the Donut Shop and follows him back to the new hotel where Hazel and Cha-Cha are staying.  Of course, Diego isn’t as good as he thinks he is because Hazel realizes that Diego has followed him and is hiding behind an Ice Cream Truck.
At this moment, Hazel and Cha-Cha get Five’s note.  They, long story short, are able to sneak past Diego and leave the hotel; but not before shooting Diego and Diego’s car. Fortunately, for Diego Klaus was there to pull him out of the direct line of fire before Diego is killed.
So, Luther and Five go meet Hazel and Cha-Cha.  Five is able to convince the duo that he will give them the briefcase if they call in The Handler; which they do call.  However, it is at this moment that…God, I love this, we hear the sound of an Ice Cream Van playing “Flight of the Valkyries.”  Luther wonders for a moment if it’s the person the others have called; but then the van passes by them and they see Klaus driving.
Diego tells Klaus to ram Hazel and Cha-Cha.  Klaus steps on the gas and as they speed(ish?) towards Hazel and Cha-Cha, we get a brief glimpse of Ben who’s having the time of his undead life.  Hazel shoots at Five and Luthor jumps in the way.  Meanwhile, Hazel and Cha-Cha are hit by the van. And then…time stops.
The Handler comes and, as this is so long, I’m going to rush this bit.  Basically, Handler tells Five that they want him to come back and work at the head office.  Five wonders what will happen to his family or rather he’s negotiating for his family to live.  The Handler says she’ll see what she can do.  Five empties Hazel’s gun and throws the clip away.  He then moves the bullet so it doesn’t hit Luthor.  At which point, time resumes.  Luther realizes Five is gone.  Luther gets his other two brothers and they escape.
And really that’s it. I can’t wait to we get Vanya and Allison back into the storyline with the others.  To me, they’re missing all the fun.

Man-Thing VIII
Man-Thing #9-10
Tumblr media
Man-Thing #9-10 - writer: Steve Gerber | penciler: Mike Ploog | inker: Frank Monte
Man-Thing fights demonic trees, alligators, snakes, skeletons and a ghost in this arc. I have to say that this two-issue arc is one of the big reasons I love Man-Thing. Just like so many other Man-Thing comics being written by Steve Gerber, this is a simple story about a couple and their dog who are having troubles with the fantastical elements added in as a spice. I really like that Man-Thing is a silent observer in so many issues who will often fight a creature or demon but other than that, Gerber uses the majority of a comic to explore relationships and situations. It’s so clearly about exploring humanity through the eyes of an empathetic “monster.” That’s another reason why Man-Thing is becoming one of my favorite characters and why Gerber’s writing works so well. Man-Thing feels others’ emotions and is drawn to strong feelings because of curiosity and empathy. I just love this book and Steve Gerber deserves his flowers for his work with this character. Anyways, we meet an old couple who fight all the time because Maybelle believes her husband, Ezekiel loves their dog more than her and spends all his time with Dawg (I know it’s a great name for your dog.) I liked the backstory here that we get. Ezekiel believes that Maybelle has been mad at him since they moved from the city to the swamp and she hates it. Man-Thing battles with a ghostly apparition in the form of a Gorgon who looks like Maybelle. Some of the supernatural elements of this arc didn’t make total sense but this is a horror comic book so it doesn’t bother me too much. I mean, this is Man-Thing and he has crazier adventures than Doctor Strange sometimes. Mike Ploog’s art suits this book so well too. I prefer his work on Werewolf but it’s good here too. I can tell that his art is much better after the years that he’s been doing it. I really enjoyed this arc overall and Man-Thing continues to be one of my favorite characters to read from this 70’s era.
Man-Thing #11

Man-Thing #11 - writer: Steve Gerber | penciler: Mike Ploog | inker: Frank Monte
Richard Rory is back for these next two issues. I gotta say while I don’t mind this “bad luck Bryan” character but I really really miss Jennifer and her brother and grandfather more and more as this book goes on. I don’t think any of the other supporting cast have been nearly as good as those three were. Anyways, there’s a woman named Sybil who’s in trouble with a group known as the Demons of Liberation and she comes in contact with Richard who gets the help of Man-Thing. I didn’t really like this issue as much as the previous arc. The antagonists seemed like they were in the wrong book and ultimately were just lame. Gerber did touch on the Vietnam War again but the explanation that is used for the villains don’t really make much sense with what he was going for. I think he’s written better stuff using Nam as a theme or reference than he did here.
Man-Thing #12
Tumblr media
Man-Thing #12 - writer: Steve Gerber | penciler: Sal Buscema | inker: Klaus Janson
A writer named Brian Lazarus believes himself to be a dead man and because of this everything he writes creates physical apparitions that haunt and attack him. He meets Sybil (she was introduced in the previous issue) who convinces him and treats him with humanity which helps stop the ghosts. Also Man-Thing. Ted fights the ghosts off a few times. This was a better issue than the last and it included a half page of reading Lazarus’ poetry and I actually kinda enjoyed it. Sal Buscema’s art really comes to play but I did miss Ploog’s work. Good stuff. Next up is Hellstrom!

Can i request a klaus mikaelson imagine where its the scene where klaus compels stefan to turn it off and stuff and when hes in the middle of compelling elena mentions they have the reader and threatens klaus that they will hurt her and the reader is klauses s/o and when klaus gets her back they have a sweet and fluffy reunion
Yes but like I'mma up the danger level because why not :)
Warnings: Fluff, Klaus about to slaughter everyone,
Being the wife of the most dangerous Original was a danger within it's self but Y/N wore the last name Mikaelson proudly. Y/N was a werewolf that was mated and married to Klaus Mikaelson. He met her over 90 years ago finding her, a little old Omega, the last of her pack that was slaughtered by a group of vampires.
'You need an Alpha and lucky for you I need a wolf.' Klaus told her planning to use her in the sacrifice but Klaus found hisself falling in love so he mate bonded to her and married her.
Y/N followed her husband naturally to Mystic Falls when they heard about the doppelganger and Katherine being there.
"Keep an eye on her or I'll kill you." Klaus tells a vampire he compelled as he was readying to leave the house to go find Elena. Klaus walked over to Y/N who sat on the couch he nuzzled her neck scenting her as she kissed his temple.
"Will you and our little pup be alright?" Klaus asked placing a hand on her small baby bump as two months ago they found out she was pregnant. Werewolf loophole, was what the witch called it then Klaus killed her after confirming it as Klaus said the less people who knew the better.
"I will. Please both you and Rebekah be safe."
"We will little wolf."
Well to say Klaus wasn't good at making people suffer was a lie as Elena stood scared to death watching Klaus moving to compel Stefan. Elena knew it would be risky but it was their only plan to save Stefan after all what was the worst that could happen.
"We have her!" Elena shouted as Klaus stopped and looked at the doppelganger as Stefan let out a breath. Klaus eyes darken as a low growl came from his chest.
"What did you do?"
"We took the werewolf you had and if you don't free Stefan....Damon will hurt her." Elena said trying to sound confident as it happened quickly Stefan was okay and Klaus was gone.
"Warn.....Damon.....Elena." Stefan panted put as Elena sent Damon a text. Klaus arrived home with Rebekah in the growling to find the house a mess and his pregnant wife gone.
"Rebekah remove Elijah's and Kol's daggers. We are going to war." Klaus told Rebekah as she looked at her brother seeing a dark look on his face she hadn't seen in a long time.
"Damon are you alright?" Elena asked walking into the Salvatore house seeing Damon hissing as he cleaned a bite wound on his arm. Stefan looked panicked as he moved to his brother's side worried.
"No. Damn bitch bit me. I thought she was just a wolf but her eyes glowed yellow, I think she is a hybrid. " Damon answered as Elena looked at Stefan worry fell on her face. Caroline was going to say something when there was a knock on the door.
"Elijah." Elena said shocked when she answered seeing the noble vampire standing there with a small smile on his lips.
"May I?"
"Yes come in." Elena said as she let in the Original who stood with his hands in his pockets seeing the bite mark on Damon's arm then listened for Y/N's heartbeat and the child she carried.
"I thought Klaus daggered you?"
"He did as he plans to slaughter you all but I convinced him to allow me to talk to all first." Elijah answered Damon walking as they watched him sit down.
"I want to see the woman carrying our youngest. Allow me that and I'll try to convince Niklaus to heal you." Elijah said as they all looked at one another and agreed. Caroline went upstairs to get Y/N as Elijah watched the others.
"Why are you helping Klaus."
"I'm not. I am trying to keep you alive. I do not know what that wolf is to my brother but you all woken a rage in him I haven't seen in centuries."
"Unless you want a bite too. You should let me go blondie." Elijah heard Y/N say as he looked up seeing Y/N then his eyes fell to her bump. When Klaus undaggered both him and Kol saying he was going to war to get back his pregnant wife, Elijah thought it was a lie so did Kol. Both they saw the rage in Klaus's eyes one they hadn't seen in centuries, one to promise to burn Mystic Falls to the ground if he didn't get Y/N back.
"Hello there." Elijah said as he was suddenly in front of Y/N and gently touched her bump hearing the heartbeat of the baby. Y/N relaxed catching Klaus's scent on Elijah as she knew who he was from the stories Klaus told her.
"Elijah?" Elena said softly snapping Elijah from his thoughts as the urge to get his sister-in-law out of Salvatore hands.
"I'll inform Niklaus that she is alright. And for your sake keep it that way." Elijah said walking out to tell Klaus as Y/N stood there wanting to be with her husband again.
It was a cold night as Y/N sat on a rocking chair rubbing her bump worried as Elijah had yet to return and Damon was getting worst. Y/N glared at Elena as she came down to the livingroom with a blanket in her hands giving it to the wolf.
"Hoping being nice to will earn favor?"
"No....you just look cold." Elena said sitting in a chair seeing how Y/N shielded her baby bump from Elena. There was another knock and Elena got the door as the others came down seeing it was Elijah and he brought someone with him.
"Elijah, you brought someone with you."
"My apologies for being late. Niklaus wouldn't allow me to return unless I brought another, meet my brother Kol." Elijah said stepping inside with Kol following. Elijah's eyes fell to Y/N seeing that she was alright as Kol walked over to the wolf.
"Damon is worst do you have the cure?" Stefan asked as Elijah pulled out a vile filled with Klaus's blood.
"We will give it to you if you hand over Y/N." Elijah said eyes flickered over to Kol seeing his little brother lighting up when he felt the baby bump and hearing the strong heart beat. 'A little warrior.' Elijah thought as his gaze turn back to the group. Elena was about to agree when Damon interrupted her.
"No.....get...out ...of town....then we'll talk." Damon panted out as Elijah stood tall then placing the vile in his suit jacket.
"Then no cure and Niklaus will lay waste to all you know." Elijah said as Kol stood up looking at Elijah having heard everything.
"Elijah please. Don't let Damon die!" Elena said as Elijah looked at her with dark eyes.
"I layed down our terms. Y/N will comes home with us and you get the cure if not then he dies." Elijah said as he waved Kol to follow. They were half way out the door when Elena spoke up.
"Okay! Take her just please let us save Damon."
"Elena...no." Damon groaned as Stefan helped him sit down as Elijah smirked knowing he won.
"Do you really want to risk waiting? I know you won't survive till morning, her bite is as if you bit by Niklaus." Elijah said staring waiting seeing Elena biting her lip, Stefan was debating as Caroline was wiping the sweat from Damon's forehead.
"Look we aren't leaving, Damon is on death's door. Nik is going to kill you all to get his wife back now if you thought he was bad before you hadn't seen Nik wage a war."
"Kol is right. Rebekah at this moment is trying to stop him from killing both Alaric and Matthew." Elijah said hit too close to home for them.
"Miss Bennett isn't safe also or Jeremy. Niklaus will kill them so it is best to give us the wolf as if Rebekah can not calm him....." Elijah said watching them closely while Y/N sat straight proud almost as Elijah saw a fire in her eyes that was pride for Klaus.
"Okay.....take her." Stefan said not caring that Damon was upset as Elijah reached into his jacket pocket for the vile and Kol got Y/N. Elijah waited until he heard that Kol got the pregnant wolf in the car then Elijah placed the vile on the table.
"Lovely doing business with you." Elijah said sounding a bit smug walking out as Elena quickly rush to get the vile to Damon. Y/N was shaking with excitement on seeing her mate again. Y/N barely reached the front door when Klaus tore it open pulling her into a breath taking kiss.
"Nik I am okay. I'm home." Y/N said softly as Klaus buried his face in her neck while she ran her fingers though his dirty blonde curls calming him. Everyone moved inside and Y/N found her self on couch with Klaus having his face buried in her neck.
"How we leave them alone." Elijah says softly ushering Rebekah and Kol out of the room. Y/N hummed softly calming Klaus down as for now his rage had died.
"I'm sorry for not protecting you, love."
"It is alright Nik, I knew what I was getting into by being your mate and wife." Y/N said softly kissing his head as he nuzzled closer not wanting to let go and shifted so she was on him instead.
"Let's stay like this for a moment."
"What ever you need my beloved wolf." Y/N said as Klaus cupped her bump sigh he sighed drowning his self in her scent to calm his self. Elijah checked up on them moments later to find them asleep on couch, with a soft smile Elijah covered them with a blanket. Sitting to watch over them joined by Rebekah and Kol shortly after enjoying the peace while listening to the strong heartbeat of Klaus's child.

Pairing: Jungkook / Reader
Rating: 18+
Genre: Established Relationship / Light Angst / Fluff
<< A FOLLOW-UP ONE SHOT TO THE ART OF WAR MORE >>
Synopsis: After two years of being sworn enemies (and 42,000 words of shenanigans), you and Jungkook had finally begun dating. As it turned out though, dating wasn’t any easier than coming up with the perfect witty retort to wipe the smirk from his face. When you came to the first Big Decision of the relationship, it was honestly anyone’s guess as to how things would go.
Warnings: handcuffs (male + female), oral (male + female), very explicit dirty talk, degradation, semi-public making out, spanking, condom-less sex, cum play, things get soft (except Jungkook’s dick). Seokjin randomly procures invitations to formal events; no one really knows how.
Word Count: 15,790
Author’s Note: In order for this to make the most sense, I would recommend reading The Art of War More first! Thank you :)
“One thousand bottles of Smirnoff on the wall, one thousand bottles of Smirnoff!” sang Seokjin, wildly off-key. “Take one down, ice someone with it, nine hundred and ninety-nine bottles of Smirnoff on the wall!”
As the bus jolted over a pothole, you were launched sideways to land on Jungkook’s thigh. His response was a grunt, steadying you with one hand – lingering longer than necessary on the small of your back.
When you looked at him, Jungkook wriggled both brows.
“Fine,” he sighed when you withdrew from his grasp. “Just know that my lap is always available seating.”
“For anyone?” Taehyung popped over the seat in front of you. “Or just for Y/N?”
Jungkook’s brow crinkled. “Why would you want to sit on my lap?”
“You have solid thighs.”
“He has a point,” you agreed.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung a moment, then you. “Only you on my lap, thanks. I don’t like the way he’s looking at me.”
Feigning outrage, Taehyung opened his mouth only for Seokjin to hit a high note at the back of the bus. All of you winced.
“How’d Seokjin get an invite to the hockey midseason banquet, anyways?” you wondered out loud. “He’s not even on the team.”
“I’ve long given up on asking pointless questions like that,” Jungkook said. “Seokjin’s going to go where he wants to go.”
“I guess.” You paused and then shrugged. “At least he decided to bring Gina as his date. Now we can all hang out together!”
Jungkook made a non-committal sound. “Is Gina still hooking up with Hobi? Surprised he was cool with her being Seokjin’s date.”
“No. That kind of fizzled,” you said, disappointed. “I don’t think he was ready for the whole boyfriend thing. Gina’s been kind of bummed, so hopefully tonight’s a good distraction.”
“Good thing distraction is Seokjin’s middle name.” Jungkook grinned. “Plus, I hear this hotel’s amazing. The banquet is being held on the fiftieth floor with this amazing view of the lake.”
Horrified, you stared. “Fiftieth floor? Sounds dangerous.”
“It’s all enclosed, babe.”
“Still. I wouldn’t put it past Taehyung to fall out.”
Taehyung popped back up over the seat. “You rang?” When Seokjin hit another high note, Taehyung winced and threw a crumpled-up tissue in his direction. “I swear to god, Jin!” he yelled. “If you sing one more annoying verse, the next tissue I throw won’t be clean!”
Seokjin immediately shut up, much to Gina’s laughter beside him.
Taehyung returned to you and Jungkook. “Anyways. What’d you say?”
“My girlfriend thinks you’re going to fall out of a window tonight,” Jungkook said cheerily. “Bets for or against?”
“Hm.” Taehyung considered. “I mean, it’s in my best interest to bet against me falling out, but what’re the odds?”
“Taehyung,” you laughed, reaching up to smack his arm. “Stop.”
“You didn’t say which window!” He shot you a grin. “I could just tumble from the first floor and make a fortune.”
“Well, now we know your plan,” Jungkook pointed out. “So, that’s out.”
Before Taehyung could respond, Gina plopped down in the seat across the aisle from you. Stretching both legs, she lifted her arms overhead.
“Hey, guys,” she yawned. “How much longer until we reach the hotel? I’m beat.”
“Half an hour. And maybe you wouldn’t be so tired if you hadn’t stayed up until 4:00 AM…” You gave her a pointed look.
“I had to! I was studying.”
“Oh?” You arched a brow. “And what about after that? When you were just re-watching old episodes of The Vampire Diaries?”
“Y/N.” Gina looked at you, appalled. “You can’t just end things right when Klaus shows up in Alaric’s body. I’m not a monster.”
“Clearly.”
With another large yawn, Gina settled into her seat. “What’s the plan for tonight, anyways? Do I have time to take a quick nap?”
“Depends on how long your naps are,” said Jungkook, leaning over. “We’re supposed to reach the hotel at 4:00 PM, check in and then have until 6:00 PM to get ready, which is when the banquet starts. You could probably sneak a nap in there.”
Grinning, you turned. “Look at you,” you cooed, poking his cheek. “Memorizing the schedule and everything.”
Jungkook’s cheeks turned faintly pink, but he seemed pleased with the praise.
“Aw.” Gina made a face. “Gross. Anyways,” she said, turning to Taehyung. “Where’s your date?”
Reluctantly, Namjoon popped his head over the seat. “Hey.”
When he appeared, Gina cracked up. “Wait – you’re Tae’s date? Hope you put out. I hear that’s expected at these things.”
“Really?” Taehyung arched a brow. “So, are you and Seokjin planning on doing the nasty?”
Gina made another face. “Don’t be revolting, Tae.”
“Huh?” Namjoon looked around in alarm. “What’re you talking about?”
“Bad timing,” Jungkook laughed. “Gina had just finished asking who Tae’s date was.”
“He came with Maria.” Namjoon pointed at the back of the bus. “She’s back there somewhere with Nichole.”
Gina glanced in the direction he pointed. “And how are you invited to hockey formal?” she asked, turning back. “Aren’t you like, afraid of sports, or something?”
Namjoon looked somewhat offended. “I’m not afraid of sports. I’m a student athletic manager! I have a place at this banquet, which is more than I can say about you and Seokjin. How’d you two get here?”
As they started arguing, you felt Jungkook stiffen beside you. Namjoon wasn’t the only student athletic manager for the men’s hockey team. Last year it was a guy named Luis, but he recently transferred to women’s soccer, sticking hockey with a new face.
A familiar face. Park Jimin.
You happened to see him when you first boarded, settling the question of whether or not he would go. He had decided to go; he was here.
It had been almost three months since you’d found out about Jimin’s lie. Back in freshman year, you and Jungkook had flirted and made plans to hang out at a party one weekend. Jungkook had to bail and asked Jimin to tell you – which he then didn’t. The resulting spiral of miscommunication resulted in you and Jungkook being enemies for almost two years.
Obviously, it wasn’t entirely Jimin’s fault. At any point, you and Jungkook could’ve gotten over your pride and just talked to each other and cleared up the whole thing. Neither one of you did though, which let the dumb feud continue – it was Jimin’s lie which started it though, and that was a hard thing to forget.
It was also something you had yet to talk to Jimin about. When word went around campus that you and Jungkook had started dating, it could’ve been your imagination, but you saw less of Jimin after that. It seemed pretty clear he had been avoiding you.
He had seated himself as far away from you and Jungkook as possible; all the way at the back, where Seokjin was taken a seat. Based on his uncomfortable posture beside his date, you got the feeling Jimin was having second thoughts about coming.
Squeezing Jungkook’s thigh, you waited until he turned his head. Even if Jimin was here, you weren’t going to let him ruin your weekend.
“We ended up together,” you murmured, only loud enough for him to hear. Resting your head on his shoulder, you sighed. “It really doesn’t matter.”
“I know,” he said quietly. “I just… get so annoyed when I see him. If it weren’t for his lie, I could’ve been with you this whole time.”
“Maybe.”
Jungkook blinked. “Maybe?”
“Maybe,” you repeated, glancing up. “Or – maybe we would’ve both argued over something dumb and because we were young and immature, we would’ve broken up.”
Jungkook bit his lip. “But we’re still young and immature.”
“Touché. I’m just saying things happen the way they do a reason,” you added. “Or maybe they don’t, but you can’t change the past. What’s important is we’re together now.”
“I guess.”
Reaching for his hand, you entwined your fingers. “And more importantly – if you don’t stop sulking, you won’t get your present later.”
Jungkook perked up. “Present? You got me a gift?”
“Maybe. If you keep asking what it is though, you won’t get it.”
Mouth snapping shut, Jungkook stared out the window and you began to count down in your head. 5, 4, 3, 2 –
“So, is this present in addition to my Christmas gift?”
Bursting into laughter, you smacked his arm. “It’s just a fun gift, okay? You’ll see later tonight. Gosh, can’t a girl spoil her boyfriend?”
Jungkook’s gaze darkened, caught on a singular word. “A gift for tonight, tonight? Or for the banquet?”
“We’ll see,” you said smugly, sitting back.
“Y/N…”
His voice dropped an octave, sending a shiver down your spine which you pointedly ignored. Turning away, you faced towards the aisle.
“You could always take a nap now, Gina,” you offered. “Before we reach the hotel.”
“And have Seokjin take pictures of me drooling with my mouth open? No thanks,” Gina sniffed.
She was right. Seokjin would do that.
Taehyung popped back up over his seat. “Are you and Seokjin sharing a room?” he asked, curious.
“What’s with your weird, pervy interest in Seokjin and I? Unfortunately, yes,” Gina sighed, slouched low in her seat. “I’m too poor to afford the single room rate.”
Seokjin finally appeared over the seat back behind you. It seemed he had managed to convince Parnce to switch seats – something he’d been texting about in the group chat since you boarded over an hour ago.
“Hey!” he blurted, offended. “I’m a delightful roommate, I’ll have you know. I leave chocolates on the pillow and everything.”
“Seokjin, it’s a hotel,” you pointed on. “They already leave chocolates on the pillows.
“Shhh,” Seokjin said. “I’m trying to impress a date here.”
Gina threw her scarf at Seokjin’s head. “I’m only your date because no one else agreed to go!”
“That’s not true!”
“Is so!”
“I mean, it’s kind of true,” Seokjin fake whispered to you, as though Gina couldn’t hear. “Allison and Elaine found out about each other.”
“Well, why did you keep them a secret?” you huffed. “No wonder you’re alone if you pull douchebag shit like that.”
“I didn’t keep them a secret!” Seokjin protested. “I told them both we weren’t exclusive, but…” Trailing off, he sighed. “What can I say? The ladies always want more.”
Another wadded up tissue hit Seokjin square in the face.
“Thanks, Tae!” Gina flopped back in her seat.
“There’s more where that came from,” Taehyung said, sitting down.
Seokjin stared in horror at the tissue on the floor.
“Hey! That... that one wasn’t used, was it?”
Sliding her sunglasses onto her nose, Gina pretending to sleep as the bus descended back into chaos.
Reaching out, Jungkook poked you in the side. “Seriously,” he whispered. “What’s my present?”
“Oh, would you look at that?” you said, sitting up straight. “There’s the hotel!”
Although Jungkook pouted, he allowed the conversation to be redirected and even helped gather your things off the bus.
As soon as you entered the revolving doors, you were immediately met with a blast of warmth from the lobby. You sighed in relief – and then came to a stop. Based on the lobby alone, this banquet was going to be fancy as fuck.
Jungkook had explained what the purpose of this banquet was once or twice, but you weren’t really listening at the time. Apparently the hockey team had a midseason and an end of season banquet. The midseason one tended to fall during their time off around finals, since it was one of the few times during on season when the players could drink.
“Whoa,” Seokjin breathed, coming to a stop alongside you. “I definitely didn’t pack nice enough underwear for this place.”
“Underwear?” Gina looked up in alarm. “Nobody’s going to be seeing your underwear this weekend, Seokjin. Except maybe the mirror.”
“I’ll know though,” he said. “Deep down, I’ll know I’m wearing cotton boxer-briefs instead of silk, like I should.”
Jungkook turned to face you. “Is that the present? Did you get me silk underwear?”
“No.”
“Did you get you silk underwear?”
“Still nope.”
“Huh.” Slightly deflated, Jungkook began to walk towards check-in. “I’m becoming less interested in what this present is.”
“Hey!” you laughed, punching his arm.
Check-in in was luckily fast – the hotel had set people aside for your group and before you knew it, you were loaded onto an elevator and pressing the button for the twentieth floor. Even though it wasn’t as high as fifty, you still warily eyed the panel.
“What?” Jungkook set his bag on the floor.
“Nothing.” You paused. “The windows all lock, right?”
“Oh my god.”
“I’m just saying! If Taehyung really fell from the twentieth floor, he would die.”
“Well, I guess Taehyung will just have to stay out of our bedroom, huh?”
Jungkook arched a brow when he spoke, gaze dark with something which made your skin tingle. Suddenly, the long hours of banquet ahead seemed like too much. It was fairly tempting for you to skip the whole thing and spend it in your hotel room with Jungkook. In bed.
The elevator dinged to announce your floor.
“This is us,” Jungkook said, grabbing your suitcase.
Slinging his duffel bag over one shoulder, Jungkook wheeled your suitcase out of the elevator. Your room was all the way at the end of the hall, past the ice machine and neon red exit sign. Dubiously, you glanced at this as you passed.
“If there were an actual emergency,” you said, slipping both arms around his waist to rest your head on his back. “Those stairs would be a death trap.”
“Hopefully there’s no emergency, then.” Jungkook pushed open the door. “Here we are.”
As you glanced over his shoulder, you froze.
“Holy shit.”
Wandering forward, Jungkook set his bag on the floor. “What?” he asked, turning around. “Is there something wrong?”
Staring at the room, you somehow managed to close the door behind you.
The space was airy, light and gorgeous. The décor was simple in that way which made you absolutely certain each item cost more than the entirety of your suitcase. Fluffy, white pillows were piled on a bed with an actual metal latticed headboard. Gauzy curtains covered the windows, and –
“Champagne?” you blurted, rushing forward. As you passed the front hall, you caught a glimpse of the closet. “And oh my god – robes. Robes, Jungkook! Plural!”
He grinned, watching you run about the room in excitement. “So, you like it?”
“Like it?” You came to a sudden stop, crystal champagne glass in hand. Realizing something, you frowned. “Wait, Jungkook. How the fuck did you afford this?”
“I came into some money overnight.”
“Sounds ominous.”
Jungkook grinned. “Actually, Seokjin’s Uncle got us a room as a favor. There’s no way I could’ve afforded this.”
Setting the champagne glass on the table, you scanned the room as you crossed to his side. “Not yet,” you teased. “Not until you make it big in the NHL. Then you’ll be able to afford all the presents for me!”
A shadow crossed Jungkook’s expression, gone before you could determine its source. He laughed, turning around and bent to unzip your suitcase. Lunging forward, you grabbed for his hand.
“No peeking!” you scolded.
Jungkook froze and looked at you innocently. “Whoops.”
“Don’t ‘whoops’ me,” you said, slapping his wrist. Huffing, you pushed your suitcase into a corner. “You’ll get your present later. We’ve got to get ready for the banquet now.”
“That’s not for hours,” Jungkook whined, flopping down on the bed.
As soon as his ass hit the sheets, his t-shirt rode up to reveal a flat strip of abs. Momentarily distracted, you stared before you shook yourself free.
“Nice try, Jeon!” Spinning around on your heel, you entered the bathroom. This obviously prompted a new round of exclamations. (“Oh my god, there’s a heat rack for the towels!”)
An hour later, you were putting the finishing touches on your make-up while Jungkook changed in the next room. Taehyung had texted fifteen minutes prior and invited everyone to drinks in the lobby. Reading his text had made you laugh, since it made you all sound so grown-up and formal.
The entire event made you feel this way – as though you and Jungkook were two kids playing dress up. College was such a weird time. On the one hand, you lived on your own and were forced to make decisions about your future and on the other, you had barely reached legal drinking age.
College was a strange limbo of job interviews and beer pong in the same twenty-four-hour period. This, though – fixing your make-up while Jungkook changed in the next room – felt scarily adult.
Although you had only been dating for months, you could already see this becoming reality. The realization was startling, making you stare at yourself in the mirror.
“Hey, babe?” Jungkook called from the next room.
“Uh, yeah?”
Somewhat dazed, you screwed the cap on your mascara.
“When are you going to be done? I need to go to the bathroom.”
Sliding your make-up bag off the sink, you gave a final pat to your hair in the lights. Inspecting your face one final time, you turned in your robe and walked from the room.
“Coming!”
The moment you exited the bathroom, you stopped in your tracks.
Jungkook had already gotten dressed and stood beside the window to survey the city. His hair was parted on one side, slightly slicked back with several loose strands hanging about his face. He was dressed in a suit – grey with a black shirt, and by far the fanciest outfit you’d ever seen him in.
Swallowing, you stood there for a moment while you eye-fucked your boyfriend.
Still facing the window, the corner of his mouth lifted. “Are you going to stand there watching me all night?”
“No,” you said loftily, entering the room. “I’m going to get dressed so we can go to the banquet, come back to this room and I can rip that suit off you.”
Jungkook turned, slightly dazed. “Fuck. Yes. That.”
He walked towards you, pausing his stride to brush a chaste kiss to your temple. Grabbing his lapel, you turned him towards you to press a kiss on his lips. Jungkook smiled, melting forward but before you take it any further, he pulled back.
“Oh, no you don’t,” he laughed, squeezing your waist before walking away. “If you kiss me like that, I won’t stop. And then I’ll definitely mess up your hair and we’ll never make it to the restaurant on time.”
Stepping into the bathroom, he shut the door.
You grinned, wandering further into the bedroom. Your dress still hung in the closet; you’d placed it there upon arrival. Thankfully, it didn’t wrinkle too much on the drive here.
“What if that’s what I want?” you called to him through the door. “We can skip the formal, stay here and just have sex.”
Jungkook remained quiet. He hated talking while either one of you was on the toilet – it was a whole thing with him, which resulted in your merciless teasing.
Slipping your dress from its hanger, you moved towards the mirror. "I'll take that as a yes, Jeon!" you said, glancing around for your shoes. "Stay silent if you want to skip the formal, hang out here and have crazy bunny sex."
After a moment, the toilet flushed and the sound of the sink turned on.
Jungkook yelled back, "What's crazy bunny sex?"
Plopping down on the bed, you set your dress on the duvet. "You know!" you huffed, feeling around when a phone vibrated. "Don't rabbits have like, a crazy high sex drive? Where'd the phrase 'doing it like rabbits' come from?"
"As interested as I am in whatever hybrid fanfic you've dreamt up, maybe–"
Although Jungkook continued to talk, the sound of it faded when you unearthed his cell phone. A name flashed on the screen – BOB SUTHERLAND, which would've meant nothing to you except for the text message.
Hey, Jungkook! Thanks for finally returning my calls. There are a few NHL teams looking for a second-string center and–
The rest of the message was cut off, but it was enough for you to understand. You recognized the name Bob Sutherland. He was a recruiter for the NHL and a damn good one, if Taehyung's word was anything to go by. The fact that he wanted to scout Jungkook didn't surprise you, but it was surprising to hear Jungkook had returned his calls.
Staring at your phone, your heart began to beat a bit faster. Jungkook didn't want to go into the NHL now – did he?
The NHL, or the National Hockey League, was the end game for any hockey player. It was a mixed bag if players went into the league straight out of high school, played in lower leagues for a bit, or played in college until they got recruited. Even then, there were only so many good years an athlete had to play. It made sense for Jungkook to want to leave University for his dream job, but you hadn't thought it would happen so soon.
The sound of the bathroom door opening jerked you from your trance. Frantically tossing his phone to the bed, you grabbed your dress and stood to look around for your shoes.
Stepping into the hall, Jungkook smiled when he saw you. "Is that your dress?" he asked, spotting the fabric. "Are you gonna put it on? Can I watch?"
"I thought you said you didn't want to have sex," you said, forcing yourself to smile as you brushed past him.
"It's not that I don't want to have sex," he grumbled, fastening a cuff link. "It's just that if we did, there's no way in hell we'd make it on time."
Although you continued to smile, the contents of that text replayed in your mind. Exhaling lowly, you tried to push this aside. Jungkook would talk to you about it when he was ready. You couldn't fault him for being curious about graduating early. A lot of NHL and MLB players did it – it’s just, you had thought Jungkook wanted to finish his degree.
Shutting the bathroom door, you leaned your head to the wood and willed your thoughts to remain calm. It would be stupid to blow this out of proportion. You and Jungkook had only been dating for three months; it was too soon to expect him to tell you every little thing. Especially something so ambiguous as potential recruitment.
You two hadn't even said I love you to each other yet.
Jaw clenched, you looked at yourself in the mirror. Maybe that was why you were getting so worked up about this. It wasn't for lack of emotion you hadn't told Jungkook you loved him, but lack of courage.
You did love him. You had for weeks, maybe months and maybe longer than that.
It was self-preservation that forced you to swallow the words each time Jungkook did something sweet, sexy or just plain adorable. For the number of times you had bitten your tongue over the past weeks, you were surprised you had a tongue left to speak with.
Still, you’d only told one other boyfriend you loved them and that hadn't ended so well. You and Jungkook had only been dating for three months. It was too soon to place that kind of pressure on him.
Especially not if he'd be leaving University at the end of this year.
Fear gripped your heart, forcing its way to your lungs while you willed yourself to breathe. You waited, taking deep breaths until the paralysis subsided. Numbly getting dressed, you tried several times before realizing the futility of your zipper.
Dropping your arms, you opened the door a crack.
"Jungkook?"
"Yeah?"
It was probably your imagination, but he sounded far away. In more ways than one.
"Can you zip me up?"
"Sure thing, babe."
As you walked from the bathroom, you held your dress with both hands so it wouldn't fall down. Jungkook's eyes widened as soon as he saw you, seated on the edge of the mattress with his broad thighs spread.
His phone dropped from his grasp.
"Fuck," he breathed, staring hard.
The longer he looked, the more your face heated. Jungkook had a way of looking at you which set fire to your veins, which made you feel seen and wanted and heard. He exhaled, tongue darting out to touch the corner of his lips and almost imperceptibly, his hands tightened on the duvet.
"The zipper?" you reminded him, fighting back a smile.
"Right. Uh," he said, standing up from the bed. Immediately, he winced. "Um. Give me a second."
After another deep breath, Jungkook walked closer, but his gait remained awkward; concealing his boner.
"Are you sure you can dance like that, Jeon?" you teased as you turned around.
"No," he huffed, hands replacing yours on the dress. "Maybe if you could be a little less hot, that would be great."
"I'll try. Maybe if I put spinach in my teeth, or something."
"Nah. Even then, I'd still do you."
"Wow, that's l–" Clamping your lips shut, you stopped the l-word from escaping. "Um, that's lunacy, Jeon."
When he didn't immediately respond, you began to panic but then Jungkook chuckled, moving the zipper upwards.
"Done," he announced, stepping back.
Slowly, you turned.
Jungkook's gaze darkened.
Nervous, you smoothed both sides of your dress down. It had taken you a while to pick this one out; several trips to the mall with Gina and eventually, she’d been the one to make the final call. The dress was more revealing than what you usually wore, with a deep-cut neckline and mostly open back. It did wonders for your curves though, highlighting what Jungkook claimed to be his favorite assets.
Then again, Jungkook claimed that about every part of your body.
Still, the way he stared made you feel Gina had made the right choice.
"Whoa," he said hoarsely.
Laughing, you took his hand in yours and dragged him towards the door. "Come on. We're going to be late."
Playfully, Jungkook dug in his heels.
"We can be a little late," he said, contradicting himself.
"Nope." Cheerful, you stepped into your heels at the door. "You're the one who said you couldn't control yourself if you kissed me."
Although Jungkook sighed, he grabbed the key and opened the door to the hall. You followed him outside, where Jungkook shoved his wallet in a pocket and gallantly offered his arm.
"M'lady."
"Jungkook," you sighed, accepting the gesture. "That line didn't work on me before. It's not going to work on me now."
"Wrong!" he said as you walked down the hall. "It did work. Now we’re dating, right? You're mine. In like, a romantic way. Not in a creepy, possessive one."
You laughed as the elevator doors opened and you stepped inside. Jungkook followed, refusing to let go of you all the way to the lobby. He wasn't being subtle about it, keeping a hand on your waist, his thigh pressed to yours, his fingers drifting lazily over the curve of your back.
His fondness for touch usually made you feel wanted, but now you couldn't help but wonder if there was something else to it. Maybe the reason he wanted to be so close was because he knew he was leaving at the end of the year.
Stomach sinking, you told yourself to stop it. Jungkook hadn't made any decisions and you were sure he’d talk to you before he did.
Or – you thought that he would.
Anxiety remained even once the doors opened and you entered the lobby. It refused to lessen throughout the entirety of pre-dinner drinks and even as you rode towards the banquet in the elevator, you found yourself in the back, quieter than normal.
Apparently this was noticeable enough for Gina to pull you aside as you entered, shooing Seokjin away with instructions to find them good seats.
"What's wrong?" she asked, tugging you behind a plant.
"Nothing!" you insisted.
Gina gave you a look.
She was dressed in a slinky red number tonight. You had picked it out right after she made the final decision on yours. Had Gina been allowed to choose, she would've worn the same t-shirt and jeans she always did. You had thought it would be funny to see her in something so sexy, but like everything else, Gina pulled it off effortlessly.
Based on the way people were staring, including her date, you knew you had made the right choice.
She narrowed her eyes. "Something's up," Gina said. "Normally, Seokjin's impression of Christopher Walken cracks you up – god knows why – but today, it didn't even make you crack a smile. What's going on?"
"It's nothing," you insisted, glancing around the room. Jungkook had paused at your table, scanning the crowd to see where you were. "Gina, we really should get–"
"Is it lover boy over there?"
Alarmed, you met her gaze. "Gina!” You dropped your voice. “I told you we hadn't said that yet."
"Oh, please." Gina rolled her eyes. "Boy is so whipped for you, it isn't even funny. He probably just doesn’t want to say it too fast and scare you off. Remember how long it took you to admit that you liked each other? This is the same. You're both playing emotional chicken."
Unable to stop yourself, you snorted. "Emotional chicken? Maybe, but…” Hesitant, you glanced around the floor. “Gina, what if he went into the NHL this year?"
Gina paused. "This year?"
"I mean... a lot of players do. There's only so long you can play hockey professionally."
"That’d make it harder to date for sure. Where’s this coming from, Y/N?"
"Nowhere," you said. "Just something I've been thinking. It would make it harder to date, right?"
"I guess. But so what?"
"I… huh?"
"So what?" she repeated. "Even if Jungkook does leave at the end of this year, how does that change the fact that you love him?"
Having no response to this, you stayed quiet.
Gina reached for your hand. "I'm just saying," she said, a bit gentler. "There’s always a million reasons it might not work out. All you can control is what you do now and how honest you are. Starting with... oh, I don't know... telling your boyfriend how much you love that flat ass of his."
"It's not as flat anymore!" you blurted, defensive. "He's been doing squats."
"Yeah, whatever." Grinning, Gina pulled you from behind the plant. "We should probably get back before Seokjin grabs the mic to sing Tiny Dancer. Just promise me you'll think about telling him?"
"Okay, I'll think about it," you sighed, following her towards the tables.
Spotting you from across the room, Jungkook grinned and waved a hand overhead. Seeing his face, a familiar rush of butterflies appeared. Except it wasn't just butterflies anymore; now there was a whole goddamn symphony and from the moment you saw him, you knew Gina was right.
You should tell him you loved him.
Maybe not now, though because as you approached your table, a familiar silhouette appeared by your side.
"Y/N?" Jimin said, sounding tentative.
Feet faltering, you came to a stop.
Even from across the room, you could see Jungkook's gaze darken. Jimin stepped between you though, blocking your way to the table. Somewhat reluctantly, you waved Gina on.
"Go on," you said with a sigh. "Tell Jungkook I want the steak."
Gina nodded once, glared at Jimin, and continued walking towards Seokjin. She knew you could handle being alone with him.
Jimin waited until she was out of earshot before speaking.
"Hi."
"Hey, Jimin."
Nervous, he swallowed. "Um, you look nice tonight. I mean you always look–"
"Jimin," you interrupted, folding your arms over your chest. "Get to the point."
"Right." He gave you an uncertain look. "I just wanted to... apologize."
"Apologize for what?"
Somehow, you managed to keep your expression neutral.
Glancing over his shoulder, Jimin saw Jungkook staring. He sighed and turned back. "For what I did freshman year."
"And what did you do freshman year?"
"Wow." Jimin gave you a half-smile. "You really aren't going to make this easy on me, huh?"
"No," you responded. "I don't think I will."
Something serious, almost sad entered Jimin’s gaze and he nodded. "Right. I guess I deserve that. I wanted to apologize for lying to you freshman year. I should've told you what really happened to Jungkook."
"You should have.”
"I know." Jimin bit down on his lip. "It's just that... I really liked you. And you seemed to like me back, so I thought it would be easier if Jungkook was out of the picture...." He trailed off, looking miserable. "It was stupid, I know."
Some of your anger lessened at his expression. He truly did seem as though he was sorry and while that didn’t change what had happened, it didn’t seem worthwhile to hold onto something so petty.
You hesitated. "It wasn't... stupid, exactly."
It wasn’t stupid in the way he implied and in a way, you realized you understood. You had liked Jimin freshman year, which was what made this complicated. You had also liked Jungkook and maybe you would’ve stood a chance back then if Jimin hadn’t lied. Then again, maybe not.
It was like what you told Jungkook earlier. It was pointless to ask what if because what ifs weren't what happened. All you had was the current situation and where you went from here.
A thought popped into your mind.
"Can I ask you something?" you said, lowering your arms.
Jimin blinked. "Sure."
"Why did you end things between us freshman year?" you asked. It was something you’d wondered for years. "If you liked me enough to go through all that with Jungkook... then what happened?"
Because he had been the one to end your fuck buddy relationship. You had been perfectly fine to continue seeing him sophomore year, but Jimin had been the one to pull back. It was something that’d always bothered you, but you’d never had the courage to ask.
Jimin gave a lopsided smile. "I wanted to date you, Y/N."
"What?” You looked at him, stunned. “When?"
"Freshman year," he said. "I mentioned going on a date a few times. Getting dinner together, being my date to my dorm's formal... you always turned me down and after a while, I stopped asking."
Dimly, you recall what he’s talking about. He mostly asked first semester, but you remember Jimin mentioning all those things. You always thought he wasn’t serious, but maybe that was just what you wanted to think. You were still hurt by Jungkook, not looking for anything real and maybe you were the one pushing Jimin away.
“I… I didn’t think you really liked me like that,” you said quietly.
Jimin offered a sad smile. “I could’ve been clearer, I guess. I didn’t want to scare you, so I was purposefully vague…” Considering, he shrugged. “I broke things off with you because I didn’t think you’d ever see me that way. Call it self-preservation, or whatever.”
“Oh,” you responded, voice small.
Seeing your discomfort, Jimin sighed. “Hey, it all worked out – didn’t it? I’m having a good time with my date and you and Jungkook look happy together. I’m glad you are. I just wanted to apologize to you in person, Y/N.”
“Thanks,” you said slowly. “I appreciate that.”
“No problem.” Jimin hovered a moment, clearly unsure whether to go. “Well. I should be getting back to my table…”
“It’s just,” you said, interrupting. “I’m not the only one you should apologize to.”
Jimin looked at you in surprise.
“I appreciate you saying something to me,” you said. “And I’m not mad anymore, but Jungkook trusted you back then. You were a dick to him just because you liked me. I’m not the only one who deserves an apology.”
Jimin’s cheeks turned a bit pink. “Yeah. I know.”
You paused a moment, but he didn’t say any more and at last, you nodded. “Thanks again, Jimin.  I hope you have a good rest of your night.”
“You, too.”
Turning around, you left his side.
Oddly, your heart felt lighter with each step you took. You hadn’t realized how much the anticipation of that conversation had weighed upon you. Ever since seeing Jimin enter the bus, you had imagined something like this would happen.
Even if Jimin had been avoiding you, it wasn’t like you had been close friends before. Acquaintances, maybe, but even that dwindled once you realized Jimin’s lie to you freshman year. That kind of breach of trust really shook your foundations.
Maybe in the future you could be friends with Jimin again but honestly, you had no inclination to do so now.
Jungkook was already seated when you reached the table, his napkin unfolded and set on his lap. As you took your seat in the chair beside him, he looked over your shoulder.
“What did Jimin want?”
You glanced his way. “He wanted to apologize.”
Jungkook said nothing, his expression inscrutable.
“He said he was sorry about what happened freshman year.”
With a rough sort of laugh, Jungkook sat back in his seat. Playing with the corner of his napkin, he slowly exhaled.
After a moment, he said, “Now?”
“Huh?”
“Now?” Jungkook turned to face you. “Jimin says he’s sorry now for what he did?”
“I mean, he –”
“He’s just sorry because he got caught,” he muttered, jaw tight.
“Maybe.” You considered, then sighed. “Anyways, it doesn’t matter. He just wanted to apologize. He said he’s glad that we’re happy.”
Jungkook’s next laugh was sharp and he looked away. It wasn’t often he got mad, but when Jungkook did, it was hard to pull out of. He tended to brood, turning things over and over in his mind until the edges were dull.
Reaching out, you placed a hand on his leg. “Hey.”
Jungkook stayed where he was.
Shifting, you reached to place a kiss on his cheek. “Jungkook,” you said softly, squeezing his thigh. “There’s literally nowhere I’d rather be but right here with you.”
Finally, Jungkook caved and turned to look at you.
His eyes were large and dark, full of something you couldn’t quite place but felt in your soul. Something fluttered in your stomach and you held your breath, anticipating what he was about to say.
His hand covered yours, thumb brushing gently against your palm. “Y/N, I –”
“NOOOO!”
“YES! VINDICATED, AT LAST!”
The sound of the commotion jerked you apart and, craning your head, you spotted the source of the turmoil several seats down at the table.
Jungkook sat back with a thump, swallowing whatever it was he had to say.
Taehyung stood in front of his chair, one of those silver food platters on the table before him. It seemed dinner had begun to be served and Taehyung had gotten a dish with a lid. When he opened said lid, there had been no food on the plate – only a singular bottle of raspberry Smirnoff Ice.
Dramatically pushing back his chair, Seokjin stood to claim his victory. “Drink!” he declared, spreading his arms. “I’ve finally done it! I’ve bested my enemy, pulled the thorn from my side, tricked the eternal trickster – wait, why are you smiling? Why is he smiling?” he demanded, glancing at Gina.
Gina shrugged.
Taehyung knelt, per the official rules of Icing. He was halfway through what you could only assume to be a very warm bottle of Smirnoff Ice and yet, Taehyung didn’t seem angry. Instead, he had one brow cocked in a way which implied he’d still somehow won.
Seokjin stared at him in confusion.
Continuing to chug, Taehyung gestured beneath Seokjin’s chair.
The next moment seemed to happen in slow motion. Face gone suddenly slack, Seokjin bent and looked under his seat. He paused for a moment, staring at something and then sighed.
“Fuck,” he muttered.
A green apple Smirnoff Ice was under his chair.
“Oh, damn,” whispered Jungkook in sympathy. “Green apple is the worst flavor.”
Finishing his bottle, Taehyung slammed it on the table. “Fuck is right,” he said grandly as he stood. “Don’t forget to kneel, man.”
“But… but – how?” Seokjin cried, looking up. “I checked under my chair before I sat down!”
Mysterious, Taehyung shrugged and sat down. “It’s not your place to question, but to chug.”
As Seokjin sighed and got on with it, Gina leaned over . “Taehyung paid me a hundred bucks to plant it after he’d already sat down,” she whispered, then grinned. “Worth it.”
You snorted into your napkin, hiding it quickly when Seokjin glanced your way. As soon as he was done chugging, Seokjin set his empty bottle on the table and sank low in his seat.
“One of these days,” he muttered to no one. “I’ll get my revenge.”
Gina patted his arm. “Sure you will,” she said, twisting around in her seat. “Oo! They have those mini hot dogs. I love those.”
Seokjin instantly perked up, since he was also a mini hot dog fan. The table settled down after that, once the meals were distributed and people starting to eat. Jungkook cut into his steak beside you, exhaling in relief when he saw it was perfectly cooked. Jungkook had a thing about the temperature of his meat.
You wanted to talk more about Jimin, but the music was loud and the conversation so sensitive, you eventually gave up and figured you’d have time to talk later.
Jungkook’s hand found your thigh midway through the meal, so you knew he wasn’t holding onto a grudge. Or maybe he was and he was just really good at hiding it. Jungkook wasn’t normally the type to be jealous; you knew that wasn’t what this was really about.
It had more to do with what you told Jimin at the end. Jungkook had considered Jimin his friend at one time. It had hurt him as much as you when he’d realized what Jimin had done.
All through dessert you watched Jungkook, trying to read his expression until eventually, his lips quirked and he reached for your hand.
“I’m fine,” Jungkook murmured, arching a brow. “Promise.”
Your eyes narrowed. “Are you sure?”
Jungkook laughed, shoveling the last bite of cake in his mouth. Setting his napkin aside, he stood from his seat and reached for your hand. Pulling you out of your chair, he led you in the direction of the dance floor. Most of the tables had already been cleared, their residents disappeared to start the next part of their evening.
Actual awards were only for the end of year banquet, or so Jungkook had told you on the bus. For the midseason banquet there were superlative awards given out, but they were usually distributed at brunch the next morning.
Jungkook pulled you to face him in the middle of the dance floor. One hand on your hip, he drew you close to the music.
“I’m positive I’m fine,” he said. “Sorry that I overreacted.”
“You didn’t,” you said, tilting your head up. “I know it’s a sensitive topic.”
“I know.” Jungkook still looked troubled. “It’s like you said, though. Who knows what would’ve happened freshman year? Maybe we would’ve worked out. Maybe not. Either way, there’s no point in worrying. We’re together now and that’s what matters.”
“Right.” Stepping closer, you leaned in and rested your head on his chest. “We are.”
Jungkook’s grip on you tightened. “And besides,” he said with a chuckle. “I don’t really want to spend any more time thinking about Jimin tonight. I’d rather think about you.”
“Me?”
“Mhm,” he said, low in your ear. “You, and how beautiful you look in that dress.”
“Just this dress?”
“All dresses. All clothes. Also – no clothes. Hell, you could wear a potato sack and I’d still think it was hot.”
Laughing, you looked up. “Now you’re just being ridiculous.”
Jungkook grinned, his smile bright in the newly dimmed lights. Within the past half hour, someone had turned down the overhead lights for ‘mood lighting.’ The tables had all been pushed back to clear space for the DJ and make a path to the windows. The sight of the city laid out before you was, indeed, spectacular.
A view rivaled only by the man standing before you.
“What?” Jungkook’s grin widened at your expression.
“Just thinking about how good you look,” you said with a sigh. “Can’t wait to use my present on you later.”
His eyes darkened. “So, it’s something to use on me?”
“Whoops,” you said, delicate. “Did I say that? Must’ve misspoke.”
His grip on your waist tightened as you danced. Lowering his head, Jungkook’s lips grazed your ear.
“Y/N.” He spoke softly, one hand sliding to the small of your back. “Don’t tease me. I’m not above public indecency.”
A thrill ran down your spine. “How indecent?” you asked, just as quiet.
To everyone around you, it merely looked as though you were dancing – turning around the room in time to the song. In reality, Jungkook’s breath quickened while your heartbeat raced, tilting your chin upwards to see him.
His gaze had turned positively carnal. “Y/N, just say the word and I’ll fuck you right here and right now.”
“Jungkook,” you whispered. “There are people around.”
His ensuing smile was cocky. “So? Bet they could learn a thing or two.”
“And you think you’d be the one to teach them?”
“I’d say so,” he said quietly. “Based on how loud you are when you come, I’d say I’m doing something right.”
“I see.” Blithely, you continued to dance. “Its statements like that which are exactly why I needed to bring your present.”
Jungkook’s expression melted to nothing. “Y/N,” he whined, all semblance of cockiness gone. “Please tell me what the gift is?”
“Nope. The build-up is half the fun!”
“When it comes to you,” Jungkook groaned. “It doesn’t take much to get me worked up.”
“Hm. You’ll have to control yourself better than that if you want to cum tonight, babe.”
Jungkook made a tortured sound in his throat. “Y/N...”
“Yes?”
Rather than answer, Jungkook grabbed your hand to pull you from the dance floor. Grinning at the broad panes of his back, you grabbed your dress in one hand so as to not trip on your heels.
“Jungkook,” you laughed, passing knowing expressions. “Slow down!”
Jungkook obliged but continued to walk until he found a suitably secluded alcove. Pulling you with, he turned you around to press your back to the wall, dripping his head for a kiss.
Melting into his touch, your arms found his neck to pull him even closer. Jungkook’s body molded to yours, one arm on the wall while his lips devoured you. You arched against him, fingers sliding up his back to entwine in his hair. Jungkook whined when you tugged, breaking away briefly to rest his forehead to yours.
Breathless, you laughed.
“Why are you laughing?” he murmured.
“Mm, nothing.” Your hands slid to his waist. “It’s just… this kiss reminds me of another one.”
“Which one?”
“You know… the one at that party…”
“Oh, yeah.” His lips quirked. “When I beat you in beer pong.”
“Okay, you didn’t beat me.”
Lowering his head, Jungkook’s lips brushed that sensitive junction between neck and collarbone. A sigh escaped when he slid to rest either hand on the wall beside you. Keeping his body carefully separate, only Jungkook’s hot lips chased over your skin. His tongue flicked a heated path up your throat, holding himself back just to prove that he could.
Pulling away, Jungkook met your gaze. Heat radiated from every line of his body, tempting you further to close the distance between you.
“You’ve gotten better at that,” you whispered. “Less tongue.”
Jungkook’s upper lip twitched.
Before you could respond, he bent to kiss you again and all thoughts of reprimand went out the window. Instead, you arched upwards, craving his touch. Jungkook seemed to be of the same mindset, hips caging yours as he ground his way forward.
Hands returned to his hair, you anchored yourself with each breath you stole. Whatever lipstick you’d had on was long gone by now; Jungkook’s hand found your back and – remembering the backless dress you wore – he groaned.
“What bra do you wear with this, anyways?” he said, pulling back.
“None.” Staring at him, your upper lip curled. “I am wearing underwear, but I’ll admit they don’t leave much to the imagination.”
Jungkook looked tortured. “What are you doing to me?” he pleaded, looking at you with puppy-dog eyes.
Before you could respond, he lowered his head and pressed his lips to your jaw.
“When we get back to the room,” he murmured, marking his way towards your ear. “I want this dress off. Panties on. Keep the heels on. Splayed out like that on the bed, so I can bury myself between your legs and eat your pussy all fucking night.”
“Sounds ambitious,” you breathed, your head hitting the wall.
“It is.” Jungkook smirked. “I like to set goals for myself. And whether I win or lose, you still win.”
“Oh, do I?”
“Mhm. If I don’t edge you all night, you get to come. And if I do, you still get to come. Win-win.”
Laughing, your fingers curled in his hair. “Well, I –”
“Get a roooom,” Seokjin booed as he walked past. “The bathroom’s right here, guys. People have probably been nauseated walking past you for however long you’ve been back here making out.”
Flustered, you glanced over Jungkook’s shoulder and realized Seokjin was right. The back of his tuxedo disappeared into the men’s bathroom, with the women’s room directly across from it in the hall. Groaning softly, you lowered your face to Jungkook’s lapel.
While you hid, Jungkook started to chuckle. His laughter shook your frame, making you smile until eventually, you started to laugh as well.
“Whoops.” Jungkook pulled back, only to wince. Reaching down, he adjusted the too-tight fabric stretched over his crotch. “Um. Maybe we should head to our room.”
“Already? There’s still a few hours left of the banquet.”
“I know, but…” Jungkook glanced past you, looking into the main room. “We came, we drank, we danced… I just kind of want to be with you now.”
“Well, alright,” you said, allowing yourself to be led down the hall. “If that’s really what you want.”
“It is,” he assured, pressing the down button for the elevator.
You smiled, leaning your head to his shoulder while you waited for its arrival. The lights in the hall were dim, bass thumping loudly from the DJ in the next room. Laughter and shouting echoed down the hall, but the spot by the elevator was relatively quiet.
When Jungkook’s phone went off in his pocket, you jumped. “Oh,” you laughed, glancing up. “That scared me.”
“Sorry,” Jungkook said, fishing around in his pocket.
When he saw who was calling, his expression changed and he immediately pressed off. Stuffing this back in his pocket, he shot you a quick smile and faced forward.
The elevator dinged.
You stared at his back as you entered, uncertainty churning your stomach. Things had been going so well, you had almost forgotten about the events of earlier – the text message you saw on his phone and what it might mean for your future.
Now, it was all you could think about. It wasn’t fair to press Jungkook to talk before he was ready but in all honesty, you were kind of going crazy. As the doors shut behind you, you turned to face Jungkook.
“Who was that?” you asked, innocent.
For a moment, Jungkook looked panicked. He hid this quickly behind a mask of indifference, which looked even stranger than the panic had on his face. Jungkook was not an indifferent kind of person.
“Um, no one,” he said quickly – too quickly. “Just my mom.”
Jungkook was a terrible liar.
Setting aside the fact that he was a classic mama’s boy and would have never have ignored her – maybe he would’ve said he can’t talk right now, but he at least would’ve answered – he now fidgeted anxiously like his feet were on fire. Eyes narrowed, you stared as his profile while the numbers of the floors ticked slowly down.
“You can call her back if you want,” you offered.
Jungkook opened his mouth to say something, then shut it. “Uh – no, that’s okay. She’ll send me a text if it’s important.”
“Oh. Okay.”
Facing forward, you casually stepped from his arm in the guise of being too warm. The numbers had almost reached the twentieth floor, but it wasn’t the descent which had your stomach tied in knots. In your peripheral, you saw Jungkook glance your way while you stared stubbornly at the doors.
The elevator slowed.
“We’re here,” you announced, striding into the hall.
You kept a few steps ahead of him as you walked, gaze focused on your room at the end of the hall. Even though you knew it was unfair to be mad, you couldn’t help the hurt which hounded your thoughts.
When Jungkook had taken out his phone, you had seen the name of the person calling him – Bob Sutherland, the very same recruiter who’d texted him earlier. Each step you took made you angrier, wondering if he’d already gotten the offer, or maybe he’d even accepted. You weren’t sure what the NHL recruiting process was, let alone what your place in it would be as his girlfriend.
Coming to a stop at your hotel room, you halted and waited for Jungkook to catch up.
He did so easily, brow creased as he reached to take hold of your hand. “Hey,” he said gently, turning you to face him. “Is something wrong? Did you want to stay at the banquet longer?”
You looked at his hand for a moment before raising your gaze to his.
“No,” you responded. “Nothing’s wrong.”
Jungkook hesitated. “Want to talk about it, whatever it is?”
You scowled. “I said nothing’s wrong.”
“You’re a terrible liar, Y/N,” Jungkook said with a smile. “Come on. You can tell me – what is it?”
For a moment, you just stared at him. Your first instinct was to push this down, to pretend it didn’t bother you, but that was cowardly. The situation clearly upset you and trying to pretend otherwise wasn’t fair to you, or to him.
Before you could change your mind, you blurted, “Why’d you lie about your mom calling you just now?”
The words slipped past in a rush and Jungkook froze. The look on his face would have been comical had the circumstances not been making you sick to your stomach.
“I – what?”
“Right now,” you explained. “Before we entered the elevator, you said your mom called, but she didn’t. Admit it.”
Jungkook stared at you a second longer, then glanced at the door. “Maybe we should talk about this inside…”
“No. Let’s have the conversation right here.”
Gaze narrowing, Jungkook returned to you. “I really think this is more of an inside the room conversation, Y/N.”
“You can’t tell me you want to go into the NHL in the hall?”
Jungkook’s eyes widened. “I – what? Who told you that?”
“I saw your phone earlier,” you said, swallowing past the lump in your throat. “That NHL recruiter texted you – Bob Sutherland, right? I didn’t mean to see it, but it was right there on the bed, and I…”
Jungkook paused, then shook his head. “And you... waited this long to talk to me?”
“Um, hello?” you shot back. “Pot, this is kettle.”
He winced. “Okay, fine. I guess I deserve that. I just... didn’t want to say anything until I was sure this was even an option.”
Bleakly, you laughed. “What does that mean? You were only going to tell me once you’d decided? Maybe once you had your jersey and a new apartment in some other city?”
Jungkook’s expression darkened. “It’s not like that,” he said as you pulled away.
“It is like that,” you responded, stopping before the door. “Can you open this? I don’t have the room key.”
Jungkook didn’t move. “Y/N.”
“Open the door.”
“Y/N,” he said, softer this time.
You waited another moment, then slowly exhaled.
“What?” you said, glancing sideways.
This was a mistake, since Jungkook was an awful liar and you could tell he wasn’t lying right now. All his emotion was etched clear on his face – regret, uncertainty, and something more, something stronger. The feeble spark of anger in your stomach extinguished with a hiss.
Stepping forward, Jungkook placed both hands on your arms. “I didn’t want you to stress over nothing,” he said quietly. “That’s the only reason I didn’t tell you right away.”
Jaw tight, you glanced over his shoulder.
“I swear,” Jungkook continued. “It’s just… we haven’t been dating long and things are going so well. I didn’t want to mess things up between us.”
“Don’t you think that’s kind of dumb,” you muttered, moving your gaze to his. “You didn’t want to mess things up, so you kept something big from me?”
“Come on, Y/N,” he pleaded, frustration notched between his brows.  “If I went into the NHL this year, I’d have to leave University before you. I’d have to move to whatever city picked me.”
“I know.”
“We only just started dating!” he said, looking tortured. “You only just started calling yourself my girlfriend. I didn’t want you to break up with me. Not when I don’t even know what I want. I don’t know if I want to go into the NHL this year. I just…”
He stopped and inhaled, looking helpless.
There was such confusion on his face, such ardent sincerity that whatever anger you felt began to ebb away. It didn’t vanish entirely; you still wish he would’ve told you, but looking at him, you understood why he did it.
“It’s... okay,” you said finally.
Jungkook glanced at you, uncertain.
“It’s okay,” you insisted, sliding both hands up his arms. “I… yeah. It’ll be fine, Jungkook. Now, will you listen to what I have to say?”
Although he seemed skeptical, he nodded.
“Jungkook.” You looked at him seriously. “This is your career, okay? This is your future. I’m not going to break up with you just because you graduate early.”
“You don’t know that,” he countered. “That’s a lot to ask. Long distance is hard, Y/N.”
“I know.”
“It’s unfair of me to ask you to do that.”
“I think I’ll decide what’s unfair to me, Jeon.”
“I just...” Running a hand through his hair, he left the strands ruffled in the back. “I needed more time. More time to figure out what I wanted, more time to make you…”
“Make me what?”
“Make you fall in love with me, too,” he said quietly.
You went still.
The hall around you fell silent – so quiet, you heard the sound of your heart beating. Or maybe that was his; the sound was too loud, whoever it belonged to. It drowned out all coherent thought and left a ringing noise in your ears.
Before you could respond, Jungkook shut his eyes.
“You don’t have to say it back,” he groaned, rubbing his forehead. “I know it’s too soon. We haven’t been dating that long and fuck, I probably shouldn’t have said it like that. I should’ve done something romantic, right? With flowers and music and – I don’t know. I just love you, Y/N and it’s really hard to keep it in, when –”
Reaching up, you pressed your palms to his cheeks. “Jeon.”
He opened his eyes, face squished in your hands.
“I love you, too,” you said seriously.
Jungkook’s eyes widened and he tried to speak, but the sound was constrained by your hands.
“Oops, sorry,” you said, releasing his face. “What was that?”
“You... love me,” he repeated, dumbfounded.
“Yeah.”
“Wow.” Jungkook paused. “Huh.”
Futilely, you tried to hide your smile. “Is that seriously all you have to say?”
“Kind of.” Jungkook grinned but after a moment, his smile began to disappear. “I really am sorry I lied, Y/N. I promise I wouldn’t have kept it a secret much longer.”
“I know,” you said quietly, taking his hand. “I get why you did it. That’s a giant change to be thinking about.”
“It is, yeah.”
“But,” you added, grip tightening. “I love you, Jungkook. I want to be with you. You don’t have to hide these kinds of things from me.”
Wonderingly, his gaze roamed your face. “No?”
“No. We’ll work through it together. Okay?”
“Okay,” he said, expression softening.
“Good.” You smiled. “You won’t scare me off, Jeon. Promise. Just tell me where your new apartment is and I’ll rack up frequent flyer miles.”
When Jungkook smiled, the corners of his eyes creased. “What if I decide to move to the moon?” he challenged.
“I might question your sanity, Jeon, but I wouldn’t be scared.”
“What if I decided to move to mars?”
“I might be a little scared,” you admitted. “Only because then, you’d probably be neighbors with Elon Musk.”
Jungkook laughed, reaching past to press his key card to the door. The light on the handle turned green, letting you in. Jungkook grabbed your hand and pulled you with, not bothering to turn on the lights.
As soon as the door fell shut behind you, Jungkook turned and pressed you to the wood. He immediately bent and began to kiss up your neck, placing one hand on the door and the other firmly around your waist. Pulling you close, he curved your body to his.
You found yourself no better, one hand sliding into his hair to open his mouth with your own. Jungkook groaned, his voice graveled, and the heat shot straight to your core.
“Jungkook,” you said, breaking away.
“Yeah?” he murmured, kissing back down your neck.
Heart stuttering, you forced yourself to focus. “I love you,” you whispered, your curving in the darkness.
It felt so good to finally say it out loud, to stop holding back what you had been feeling for some time.
Slowly, Jungkook bent to press his forehead to yours. “You sure?” he said quietly. “Don’t feel like you need to say it because I did. Just because I’m stupid in love with you doesn’t mean you need to be.”
“Jungkook?”
“Yeah?”
“Stop being dumb and kiss me.”
Jungkook snorted when you grabbed his tie with one hand to pull him towards you. Elbow buckling, he pressed you against the door while his laughter fanned your face.
Tilting your head upwards, your lips lightly brushed. “Want to know what your present is?”
Jungkook answered immediately. “Yes.”
“It’s going to sound silly now that you told me you loved me.”
“Hey, you said it back!”
“I did.”
“… I still want to know what my present is.”
“Mmm,” you hummed, walking a hand up his chest. “Alright, so maybe I went into that one drawer of your nightstand.”
Jungkook stilled.
“And maybe I brought something for us to play with.”
In the darkness, you heard him audibly swallow.
“What… what did you decide to bring?”
Placing a hand on his shoulder, you lifted your lips to his ear. “Maybe the handcuffs.”
The next moment happened faster than you could comprehend.
Seizing you around the waist, Jungkook picked you up to carry you towards the bedroom. You squealed, smacking his ass from your upside-down position. Ignoring you, Jungkook flipped on the light as he walked and, upon reaching the bed, deposited you on the mattress.
You bounced on the landing, grinning as you adjusted yourself on the duvet.
Jungkook had already begun to remove his tie. He paused with it half-undone, staring at you on the sheets. Wriggling your ass deeper, you arched a brow.
“Alright.” Jungkook placed his hands on both hips. “How do you want to do this?”
You grinned. “What do you mean?”
He glanced at your hands. “I mean – do you want to wear the cuffs, or should I? Should we do this on the bed? Do you want the cuffs on my wrists, or what?”
“Whoa,” you exhaled, sitting up. “Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never done this before.”
Jungkook paused, then nodded and smiled.
Leisurely, he began to walk towards your suitcase. He undid his cuffs as he walked, placing them on the nightstand before he bent to the zipper. Opening the flap, he scanned the inside and immediately spotted the handcuffs on top of your sweatpants.
Glancing over his shoulder, he arched a brow. “Really?”
“What?” you said, somewhat defensive. “I wanted to protect them from damage.”
Jungkook reached out and shut your suitcase. With the cuffs dangling from one hand, he stood and looked once more at you. A hunger had entered his gaze which made you squeeze your thighs together.
“Why don’t we start with you?” he said, moving closer. “I’ll make you feel good and then you can decide if you want to cuff me.”
“That sounds good,” you whispered.
Jungkook came to a stop at the foot of the bed. Gaze raking your frame, he traced every curve with an indecency bordering on obscene.
“I wasn’t kidding before,” he said, gaze lifting. “I want you naked except for those heels and your panties.”
A thrill traveled your spine, slowly extending your legs to stand from the bed. Without looking away, you reached behind your back to slowly unzip your zipper. You caught your dress before it fell, pressing it to your chest and keeping it there.
Jungkook exhaled. “The rest of it, sweetheart,” he said, sounding hoarse. “I want to see those pretty tits of yours on display.”
“Oh, do you?”
Teasing, you lowered the fabric until your nipples were practically visible. They caught at the fabric, pressed against silk while Jungkook swallowed hard.
“Yes, please,” he said.
Without looking away, you dropped your dress to the floor.
Jungkook sucked in a breath as he stared. His gaze trailed your breasts, rounded and peaked; the apex of your thighs, where you could already feel yourself slick with arousal. He glanced at your feet, still in the heels he said not to change out of.
A growl escaped him when he reached for his cock. Palming himself over his pants, Jungkook stared hard at your body.
“Jungkook,” you whimpered, needing him to touch you.
His gaze snapped to yours. “Look at you,” he murmured, stepping closer. Sliding a hand to the back of your neck, he tilted your face up. “Nipples already hard for me.” Reaching out, he palmed your breast. “Is this pussy wet for me, too?”
“You know it is,” you said breathily.
Nose ghosting your neck, Jungkook traced a path down your throat. “I’ll be the judge of that.”
“What’re you going to do?”
“Gonna take a look.” Jungkook pressed a kiss to your shoulder. “Gonna see how wet I can get you – just me, though,” he said, stepping back. “You’re not allowed to touch yourself yet. Understand?”
Eager, you nodded.
It had been a few months since you started having sex and in that time, you had learned to read each other well. Jungkook knew that after a fight, you usually liked him to be in control. The mental exhaustion was tiring and you just wanted to come, and come hard.
“Good,” Jungkook said with a smirk. “Now, sit on the bed.”
Turning around, you sat and scooted until your back hit the headboard. Jungkook’s hands found his belt, slowly undoing each notch while you watched. Pulling this from the loops, he dropped it on the floor to shrug from his jacket.
Once free, he knelt one knee on the bed. “Spread your legs,” he said quietly. “Good girl.”
You obeyed, feeling liberated by the lack of control. You trusted Jungkook to take care of you, to listen to you and to know when to stop. It was part of what made sex which him better than anyone else. He understood you in a way you found hard to describe.
“Here?” you asked, spreading your legs on the sheets.
Jungkook moved towards you. “Here,” he agreed, slipping one metal cuff around your wrist.
You inhaled when he closed it, threading the links behind the bedpost and taking your other hand in his. He clicked the second cuff in place, leaving you with both arms overhead, splayed out on the mattress. Arching experimentally upwards, you found your arms restrained.
Withdrawing, Jungkook sat back on his heels. He stared at you a moment, then slid his hands up your torso. Almost recently, he bent his head to flick your nipple with his tongue.
“Oh,” you gasped, arching upwards.
Your wrists strained at the metal, but the sensation was more discomfort than actual pain. The fact that you couldn’t touch him had your skin on fire. Jungkook’s mouth was sloppy, teasing your nipples just the way you liked, urging them to peaks so he could suck with abandon. You arched on the mattress, the cold metal of handcuffs biting into your skin.
You hadn’t been lying – you’d never done this sort of thing with any previous boyfriend but with Jungkook, you found yourself wanting to explore. No one had ever made you feel this comfortable, this open and trusting he would make you feel good.
Switching to your other breast, Jungkook blew on it gently before taking it in his mouth. When he grazed you with his teeth, you let out a whimper and he sucked in earnest. The noises he made made your cheeks heat, your barely clothed core grinding against the duvet.
Your lace thong was sticky, drenched in evidence of easy arousal. Jungkook seemed to realize this as you did, his finger drifting to dip beneath the edge of the fabric. Reluctantly pulling away from your chest, Jungkook twisted the fabric to stare at your cunt.
Although you couldn’t see, you could feel how indecent it was. Drenched lace snagged in the folds of your pussy, revealing your glistening sex to his darkened gaze.
“Fuck,” Jungkook groaned, brushing his thumb up your folds.
The way you shuddered made him moan and he did it again. Jungkook’s thumb slid lower, lazily stroking the entrance of your pussy. He teased until you clenched around him with need, arousal dripping from your cunt to gather at your ass.
“Feet up.” Jungkook pulled back. “Thighs spread.”
You did as he said, placing your heels on the mattress to spread your legs. Jungkook’s jaw clenched at the sight, staring hazily at you like it was the first time. Immediately, he bent and lowered himself between your legs.
“Y/N,” he moaned, dragging his tongue up your sex.
You shuddered at this, tugging on your restraints, which held. Arching against him, you pushed your hips forward while Jungkook ate you out. He wasted no time, lips immediately wrapping around your swollen clit, coaxing you hard and fast towards your first orgasm of the night.
Sliding both arms under your thighs, Jungkook used them as leverage while he licked your pussy. Burying himself between your legs, he devoured you with such ecstasy, you could barely breathe.
The hard lines of his back strained against his shirt and you wished this was gone, wished you could see his pretty skin, but Jungkook seemed determined to make you come like this – his tongue buried in your cunt and his nose brushing your clit.
Your entire body seized, ready to come but then he pulled back and slid two fingers in at the hilt.
Gasping, your entire pussy quivered when his tongue returned to your clit. “Oh my god,” you blubbered, arching against him. “Oh my fucking god, Jungkook.”
His fingers were relentless, immediately fucking the warm wetness of your pussy. The squelch they made sliding in and out was obscene, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care. It felt too fucking good, with them pounding your cunt and making you see stars.
If you could have, you would’ve grabbed his hair and ridden his face, but you couldn’t. Instead, you arched as hard as you could and gripped your thighs together – Jungkook growled between them – unable to do anything but take it when he gave you your orgasm.
It crashed into you like a wave as you cried out in pleasure below him. You shuddered apart; Jungkook kept both arms wrapped around you until you were done. As the pleasure finally subsided, he gradually slowed his mouth to look up.
He grinned, lips red and wet from his exertions.
With a groan, you collapsed back on the bed. The metal bit into the skin of your wrists, your chest rising and falling while Jungkook shifted above you.
“You okay?” he asked gently, dropping a kiss to your lips.
You nodded, turning your head to capture him in a kiss. Jungkook kissed eagerly back, thighs settling on either side of your hips. He finally pulled away, reaching for the bedside to locate the key.
“Yeah,” you said, waiting for him to unlock the cuffs. “I feel really good, in fact.”
Jungkook grinned and released the cuff from your right wrist. You lowered your arm to your side while he undid the other, patiently waiting for your wrists to be freed. When you were, Jungkook bent his head to press his lips where the cuffs used to be.
He then moved to your feet – you had nearly forgotten you still wore your heels, but Jungkook slid them easily off to drop them to the floor.
You moved to sit up but Jungkook bent and kissed you again. His hands slid to your hair, thighs caging your waist while his tongue slipped past your lips. Desire lazily curled in your stomach; rather than sate you, your previous orgasm had left you hungry for more.
“Jungkook,” you mumbled against his lips.
“Yeah?”
“Why’s your shirt still on?”
Jungkook snorted and sat back, reaching for his front. Without looking away, he began to undo his buttons. He moved slowly, pushing each button through fabric at a maddening pace until you whined and pressed your hips up to his.
“Eager?” he teased, tugging an arm from the sleeve.
As soon as his shirt hit the floor, you sighed in satisfaction. No matter how many times you saw him, the sight of Jungkook shirtless never ceased to amaze.
“Wait – stay there,” you said, reaching to run a hand up his front.
One of Jungkook’s tattoos dipped to his pec, swirling above his dusky nipple in delicate lines. When your thumb casually brushed this, he shuddered.
Pleased, you looked up. “Sensitive, Jeon?”
“You know I am,” he grumbled, though he seemed far from perturbed. Gaze glinting in darkness, Jungkook lowered himself to his palms. “Do it again.”
You obeyed, casually dragging a finger over his pert, rosy nipple. Jungkook inhaled through his teeth, staring at you while you began to tease. When your fingers moved to his other nipple, he actually whined and lowered his head.
“Okay,” you said, making a decision. “I’m going to need you in those cuffs now.”
Jungkook lifted his head. “Oh?”
“Yeah,” you exhaled.
He immediately sat back on his heels, shirtless and slacks strained across his erection. It was obvious from the way he sat it was uncomfortable and yet, Jungkook made no move to relieve himself. The sight sent a thrill down your spine.
This scenario had crossed your mind more than a few times, you had to admit. Having Jungkook seated before you, ready to do whatever you wanted. He was just so big and strong – the sight of him kneeling was more than you could bear.
“Scoot back,” you said, jerking your chin at the headboard.
Jungkook obeyed, scooting until he leaned against the latticed metalwork of the bed. Arching a brow, he asked, “What now?”
“Now,” you said, grabbing the handcuffs to move towards him. “I’m thinking about how I want you.”
He smirked. “What’re you thinking?”
“I could cuff you to the bed,” you wondered. “Or… no, I know what I want. Get back on your knees.”
Jungkook licked his lips and nodded, moving into position.
“Wait,” you said, making him pause. “Take off your pants first.”
He stopped and slid his hand under the top of his slacks. Undoing first the button, then the zipper, Jungkook slowly dragged them down muscular thighs. Once his slacks fell to his ankles, Jungkook kicked them to the floor.
“Now your boxers,” you instructed, gaze hungrily roaming his frame.
The handcuffs remained in your hand, but Jungkook paid them no attention while he stripped down to nothing. Keeping his gaze on yours, he dragged his boxers lower. The second his cock was freed, it sprang up to smack his muscled abs.
You nearly groaned at the sight of how hard he was. The tip of his cock was reddened and leaking, a thick bead of cum working its way down his shaft.
“Hands behind your back,” you said, lifting your gaze.
Jungkook did as he was told, the muscles in his biceps bulging as he went. Although you audibly swallowed, you pushed past this and went to attach the first cuff.
“Is this okay?” you asked, glancing up at his face.
Jungkook smirked. “Yeah. Put the other one on.”
Cheeks hated, you nodded and fastened the other behind his back. Jungkook exhaled, dark hair flopping forward while he experimentally tugged with his arms. The cuffs didn’t give. You stared at him a moment, drinking in the sight of him naked, kneeling and utterly yours.
Unable to stop it, you smiled.
Jungkook glanced up. “What’s that look for, baby?”
“Nothing,” you said, scooting backwards. “You just, um…”
“What?”
“Look fucking hot.”
His cheeks flushed, a fact you found endearing – even with his dick standing hard and thick between his thighs. Bending, you placed a hand on either side of his legs.
Curious, you looked up. “Have you ever done this before?”
Jungkook shook his head. “No. I never really… wanted to do this with anyone else.”
Warmth filled you, knowing exactly what he meant. There’d been no one else you trusted this much either. It was a strange thing to relinquish control, to surrender yourself to someone else and trust they wouldn’t hurt you.
“Same,” you whispered.
You bent and licked a strip up his cock.
Jungkook groaned, head rolling back as you teased his length. Sitting up, you spit in your palm to wrap most of the way around his cock. You began to slide up and down and Jungkook exhaled, thighs twitching beneath your palm. His eyes drifted shut, enjoying your touch as you stroked his dick.
Seeing the way his arms strained at the cuffs, you grinned. “Enjoying yourself?”
He cracked open an eye. “Wanna touch you,” he said.
“Too bad,” you sing-songed, bending to wrap your lips around his cock.
Jungkook groaned, straining once more against the cuffs. You refused to take him all in your mouth at one go, sucking on the tip before tracing his sensitive head with your tongue. Jungkook exhaled, hips pushing forward in an attempt to coax you further onto his dick.
Pulling back, you left him with a pop. “Uh-uh,” you said. “You’re not the one in control here, Jeon. I am.”
“Oh, yeah?” A devilish glint entered his eyes. “Prove it.”
Heart pounding, you pushed yourself up and moved closer. Sliding a hand into his hair, you angled his head to kiss him on the lips. Jungkook melted forward, lips chasing yours before you pulled back.
Settling just beyond his reach, you smiled and let your hand return to his cock.
“Fuck,” Jungkook whimpered.
“In a bit,” you answered, thumb brushing his tip.
Jungkook’s tongue poked the side of his cheek, staring while you continued your motions. Head lowering, you took him again in your mouth and slid partway down. Lifting off, you trailed his frenulum with your tongue and then bent to take him all the way.
“Shit,” Jungkook gasped, staring while you deep-throated his cock. “Fuck – that feels so good, baby. Ah.”
His hips bucked when you took him deeper and in response, you pulled back.
“Nope,” you said with a smirk. “Every time you do that, I’ll stop. Keep still, baby,” you said, continuing to fist him with one hand. “You can do that for me, right? Be a good boy?”
Jungkook’s gaze turned heavy with desire. “Yeah,” he breathed. “Yeah, I’ll be so fucking good for you, baby. Promise.”
Taking him back in your mouth, you hollowed your cheeks to move faster. Balancing both palms on his thighs, you forced your head down until you gagged on his cock. Pulling back, you let spit break over your lip and fisted him roughly, making him sloppy and wet.
Jungkook whimpered again, straining at the cuffs. His nipples were rock hard and upon seeing this, you lifted to lick over a nub.
“Oh, fuck,” Jungkook blurted, hips thrusting forward.
You let him fuck your hand for a few seconds, his hard length chasing the warmth of your hand. And then you pulled away, relinquishing your grip and Jungkook’s eyes widened, realizing what he’d done.
“No,” he groaned, chest sagging.
He looked utterly defeated by the realization you might stop – or at the very least, you’d make him work for it harder. The only thing wrong with this assumption was that you were now obscenely horny and just wanted him inside you.
“It’s okay, baby.” Using the same hand, you lifted his chin. “You did so well, lasting for me as long as you did.”
Jungkook looked at you, hopeful. “So, you’ll let me come?”
“Oh. No.” His face fell. “At least,” you allowed, positioning yourself over his cock, “not until I feel you inside me.”
It had been a few weeks since you had stopped using condoms. Soon after you started dating, you decided to get tested since you were already on the pill. It was worth it the first time he came inside you and swirled his fingers through the mess.
Jungkook watched you remove your sodden panties, dropping them on the floor and returning to his lap. Lowering yourself, you let the soaked folds of your center gently brush his cock. Jungkook hissed as though you had wounded him, straining against the cuffs like he could break them.
Immediately, you stopped. “Jungkook?” you asked, gaze roaming his face in concern. “Are you still okay?”
“Yeah,” he breathed, practically panting. “Fuck, yeah. I’m good, but I need to be inside you. Now.”
“So impatient,” you tsk-d, reaching to grasp his cock beneath you. One hand on his shoulder, you began to lower yourself on his length.
Just his tip entered at first, parting the velvet walls of your sex and making you moan. You’d already come once tonight, but with how tight you were, that seemed a distant memory. Sliding your hand lower on his cock, you dropped yourself lower to take him inside you.
Jungkook stared; transfixed by the sight of him entering your pussy. “You’re doing so well,” he murmured. “Feel stretched enough, baby? Need anything from me?”
“N-no,” you stuttered, already feeling the burn.
He looked up and arched a brow. “How about this?” he murmured, shifting his weight. “Since I can’t use my hands or my tongue on your pussy, how about I get you wet like this?”
“Like what?”
“Take your hand off my cock so you can touch yourself,” he suggested sweetly. “Put your finger in my mouth first, though. Wanna taste you.”
You obeyed, thighs trembling as you released him and brought your finger to his lips. Jungkook opened, wrapping his lips around your digit to easily suck. You inhaled at the sight, thoroughly aroused as you felt yourself slip another inch on his length.
Jungkook released your finger. “Now put that hand between your thighs,” he said, waiting for you to do so. “There you go, baby. I know how swollen your clit was when I sucked on you earlier. Is it still like that? Still puffy and needy for me?”
Slipping your hand between your legs, you circled your sex. “Yeah,” you breathed, sinking down on him another inch. “It’s still like that.”
“Good.” Jungkook smirked. “Give it a pinch, then slowly rub it.”
The second you did this, a wave of pleasure swept through you.
“Again,” Jungkook said.
You did it again.
“And again.”
This time when you did it, you felt your hips settle against his. Glancing down in surprise, you realized his cock had nestled all the way inside you – his thick girth split you so prettily, the wetness of your pussy soaked into his base.
“Oh,” you exhaled, looking up.
Jungkooks eyes glinted. “Ride me.”
The way he spoke sparked fire in your veins, reaching for his shoulders as you slowly moved upwards. Once you were nearly empty, you dropped to take him all in one motion. You gasped at the sensation, head tipping back as you did it again.
Gripping his shoulders, you controlled the pace to slowly move up and down. You went purposefully slower, reveling in the feeling of him being inside you, the sight of his chest rising and falling with each breath he took.
Leaning onto your palms, you lifted your hips and sunk down on his cock. You swiveled your hips as you went, letting him feel how wet you were for him.
“Fuck,” Jungkook groaned, taking a deep breath.
His gaze roamed your chest, rising and falling with your hips; your cunt, swallowing him whole to drip onto his thighs. A moan left him at the sight of your clit, so swollen and pretty but unable to touch.
“Baby,” he moaned.
“Yeah?”
Sitting up straight, you let him fall from your body and repositioned yourself above him. Sinking down on his length, you slid both hands to his hair and eagerly kissed him. Your chests brushed as you rode him, rolling your hips over his massive cock.
Growing impatient, Jungkook finally snapped his hips upwards. “Please,” he panted, lips dropping down your throat. “Please undo the cuffs, Y/N. I need to fuck you.”
“Okay,” you agreed, reaching beside you to grab the key.
It took you a few seconds to unlock a cuff and the moment you did, Jungkook moved. He didn’t wait for the other one to be released – pushing you back on the bed, he hiked your leg up and buried himself in you to the hilt. Lips parted, you stared at him dazed as he suddenly filled you. The stretch felt so fucking good, your eyes watered.
Softening, Jungkook brushed a kiss to your lips. “That okay?” he murmured, reaching down for your clit.
It was swollen, like he said and your eyes nearly rolled back as he began to play with you.
“Oh my god, yes,” you mumbled, stretched out beneath him. “Jungkook?”
“Yeah?”
“Fuck me hard.”
His gaze immediately darkened. “Alright, baby.”
Knowing exactly what you meant by this, Jungkook pulled out. He flipped you over, pulling your ass in the air so your pussy was on display. His fingers swiped at your entrance, feeling how soaked you were before he lined himself up and plunged inside you. It was a more intense stretch this way – his cock hit so deeply like this, filling you up with a despondency you craved.
“Oh my god,” you gasped, chest pressed to the bed.
Your thighs were eagerly spread, Jungkook’s hands on your hips while he fucked himself into you. Each time he filled you left you groaning, your pussy deliciously stretched by his massive cock.
“That’s it,” Jungkook grunted, fingers gripping your waist. “God, you take my cock so well, baby. Such a good little slut for me.”
He paused, waiting for your reaction and you moaned in response. You weren’t always in the mood, but sometimes all you wanted was to be called his filthy whore. Wanted Jungkook to use your pussy like his cum dump, fucking you over and over like he couldn’t control it.
“That’s right,” you groaned, spreading your legs wider. “All yours, baby.”
Jungkook grunted and spanked you, jolting you forward. Your ass quivered when he did this again, timing his efforts with each thrust of his cock.
“Fuck yeah, it’s for me,” he panted. “Got you on all fours like a bitch in heat. You just want to be stuffed full of cock – right, baby? Want your pussy fucked full of cum?”
“Yes,” you moaned, pushing back. “Full of your cum, Jungkook. Oh.”
“That’s right – only my cum,” he said, satisfied. “Only my dick knows how to fuck you this good.”
You moaned, unable to be more coherent than that.
“You think the rest of the floor can hear you?” Jungkook mused, his hips never wavering. “Think they can hear you moaning my name, making such a sweet mess of my cock? Think they’re all jealous they don’t have a perfect pussy like yours?”
“Fuck, Jungkook!” you gasped, arching your back.
He spanked you again. “Hope they can all hear what a perfect slut you are. How nicely you take a big cock, how much you like being fucked full of my cum.”
Reaching down, Jungkook slipped an arm under your chest. He lifted you against him, pressing his chest to yours from behind. His hips never ceased, his cock continuing to split you open while he fucked like that. You could feel yourself quivering, core clenching hard on his cock while you neared your next orgasm.
Which is why it felt so sudden when Jungkook decided to pull out.
“Jungkook!” you gasped, sagging in his hold.
Your head spun, wanting – needing – to come and if it weren’t for his arms around you, you would have collapsed to the sheets. Jungkook kissed your neck once before he turned you around and laid you down on the bed. It was necessary for him to take the lead since your thighs were still shaking.
Balancing his weight on his palms, Jungkook gave you a shy smile. “I just…” He shook his head. “I wanted to see you.”
Melting at his words, you stared back at him. His gaze was so open, so hopeful that you lifted your arms and pulled his chest down to yours.
“Wanna see you too,” you whispered, kissing him softly.
Jungkook reached down to position himself between your thighs and this time when he filled you, it felt different. He began to move slowly, rolling his hips while he kissed down your throat.
Each thrust he gave was deep, purposeful, and designed to complete you. It did – no, he did, you realized as your arms slid around him. When he fucked you like that, each roll of his hips brushed your clit and soon enough you found yourself right back on the edge.
“Jungkook,” you groaned, pressing your face to his shoulder.
Your fingers dug into his skin, hips chasing his while he buried himself inside you. Over and over, his cock hit that place deep inside which made you cry out beneath him.
“Oh,” you gasped, clutching him tighter. “Jungkook.”
Dropping to one elbow, he began to fuck you faster. Grabbing one of your knees, he hiked this over your waist and began to thrust harder, driving you towards your orgasm.
“Love you,” he murmured, hips chasing yours. “Fuck.” Jungkook sighed. “So glad I can say that now.”
“Love you too,” you whispered, fingers curling into his hair.
With each thrust he gave, you felt yourself closer to falling apart. His heat was everywhere – on your lips, on your neck, with his thick cock inside you. It was nearly unbearable, how full of him you felt.
“Jungkook,” you whimpered, burying your face in his chest. “P-please. Come inside me. Wanna feel you.”
“Yeah?” His breath hitched. “You want me to fill you up? Get this pussy all messy with my cum?”
“Please, Jungkook,” you gasped.
“You first,” he demanded, thrusting into you with an intensity which stole the breath from your lungs.
Gasping him by the shoulders, you felt yourself clench as he fucked you harder. When you came, it was with his name on your lips and his cock inside you. Feeling you clench tightly around him, Jungkook swore and gave several deep thrusts.
It was only a few seconds later you felt him release, hot spurts of cum filling up your cunt. There was so much of it, your pussy eagerly taking until it couldn’t take anymore. You felt some of it dribble out the sides, sliding to your ass from your fucked-out hole. Jungkook stayed there as long as he could, pushing his cum deeper inside you with each lazy thrust.
Your sensitivity was overwhelming but you pushed through it, wanting him to stay inside you as long as possible. Arms wrapped around him, you pulled his chest down to yours and smiled happily upwards, feeling his cock soften inside you.
Jungkook brushed a kiss to your forehead. “Y/N…”
“Yeah?”
“Can we get this other cuff off me?”
Snorting, you looked and realized he still had the cuffs attached to his left wrist. Twisting beneath him – Jungkook whined when he slipped out – you reached for the key. He immediately brightened once the cuff was released.
You grinned. “Better?”
“Better,” Jungkook said, flopping back down.
“Jungkook!” you grunted when he landed on your hips.
“Hm?”
“I need to get up.”
“No, you don’t.” He pancaked on top of you and grinned. “See? Now you’re trapped.”
Laughing, you grabbed for his bare ass. “I really have to get up,” you said. “All your cum is still inside me, Jeon.”
“Damn, okay,” he said, shaking his head. “If that’s a hint, fine. I’ll eat it out of you, just give me a minute.”
Your eyes widened, intrigued by this idea but you pushed it aside. “No – now, Jeon,” you said.
Jungkook grinned. “Alright,” he exhaled, rolling off. “But come back here soon!”
“Or else what?” you said, swinging your legs over the bed.
“Or else I’ll be lonely.”
When he exaggeratedly pouted, you laughed.
Stretching both arms overhead, you made your way towards the bathroom. Your entire body felt sated; full of that heavy-limbed sensation which only came from a mind-blowing orgasm. At the bathroom you paused and looked over your shoulder.
Jungkook remained on the bed, hair rumpled and clothing still on the floor. He looked gorgeous, but that wasn’t what first crossed your mind. The first thing you thought was you wanted more nights like this in the future.
Not just the sex part (although that would be nice), but this. Him in your bed, ready to go to sleep next to you. Ready to wake up in the morning. Laughing and talking and just being together.
It was easy to picture yourself doing this with him five years from now, twenty, even fifty. Realizing this, you paused and waited for the panic to come.
Nothing happened and after a moment, you exhaled.
Jungkook glanced up from the bed, caught you looking and smiled – which sent a wave of rightness through you. This might be it, you realized. He might be it.
Oddly enough, the thought didn’t scare you at all.

i have a prompt request if can do it so basically the nola gang are trying to talk klaus out of something (maybe stop him from getting revenge yk) and they really tried with camille until rebekah and hayley get the idea to ask caroline to go to nola because she'd talk him out of worse stuff and then when she gets there she managed to talk him out his plans almost immediately
Wiles || Klaroline
Caroline squinted as her head cocked to the side. "Yeah, I'm not drunk enough for this, which is not at all what I was promised for spring break in New Orleans." Finishing off her drink, she stole his scotch. "Explain it again."
A fond sigh escaped Klaus, and he signaled Cami for another round. "As pleased as I am that you're here, sweetheart, I would have much preferred it not to be on my sister's errand. Your very human abhorrence of my tactics has already been noted."
"In a general sense, sure," she agreed with a careless shrug. "But let's talk specifics. This witch--"
"Davina."
"--won't do the spell you need her--"
"She's the only one with the power to pull it off alone."
"--to do in a timely fashion--"
"With your lot destroying the Other Side, my mother needs to be found and contained now."
"--because you're openly at war with the vamp that saved her from her own coven? Gee, hard to see why she won't play ball."
Lips curling, Klaus fought for patience. "I don't have time for the teasing, love, nor are you the first to have this conversation with me. Unless you have a better idea--"
"Than killing her friends and trying to kidnap her from the only person who's kept her safe?"
"--please feel free to sit this one out. Go back to Mystic Falls and focus on those plans you told me about. I assure you, I had no hand in Rebekah calling you to fight her battles."
Caroline scoffed, unimpressed. "Like she'd give me the credit. But I've heard you catch more witches with money than vinegar, and you have to have a witch bribe fund by now. Why do they need me to convince you to use it?"
A hand scrubbed over his face. "Davina's young, something about morals and the principle of doing the right thing. She won't accept the generous scholarship or home I've offered her, not when I deserve everything dear Mother decides to throw at me." With a sardonic grin, his eyes blaze into hers. "Teenagers, you know."
"Oh." Her mouth puckered around her straw as she furrowed her brow. "She is young. Have you tried...forbidding her? Tell her she can't do it, that Esther would absolutely use her and kill her when she's through. It's probably true anyway." Shrugging, Caroline seemed unsure. "It can't come from you, though. If you have any pull with the vampire friend, they're the best voice for that message. Frame it around concern for her, not yourself." Her smile turned mean, but her eyes were bright with mischief. "I know that's hard for you."
"As hard as it must be for you to advise my dastardly plans," he conceded. Leaning his elbows on the table, he pinned her with a curious gaze. "You're good at this."
She propped her chin in her hand, just tipsy enough to inch closer to him. "I am. But my wiles don't come cheap, or else your sister would call me for every bad idea you ever have."
"So...never? A shame for me, to not see you nearly as often."
Her grin widened. "You should still give Davina that scholarship. And the house." She bit her lip in thought. "Well, once the spell is finished."
He always did admire her practicality. "Of course, love," he promised. "Whatever you say."

I’ve seen it mentioned by people before about how weirdly easy it seems for the siblings to just accept Five as a master assassin and it’s been giving me thoughts. Because in the comics he obviously has that whole being spliced with serial killers thing, but that’s not a thing in the show. And there’s also really not a lot of implication that the commission gave him a bunch of training or skills.
The show fandom tends to act as if his skills comes from 40 some years of experience, but he was actually only an assassin for a few years. Before that he certainly had to develop some serious survival skills, but that would really be more about foraging and shelter. All the fighting for survival he did was Five vs. the elements, not Five vs. enemy combatants.
So that seems like it would imply that most of his abilities in that area were developed before his time in the apocalypse. Which all goes to make me wonder just how ruthless of a fighter he was as a kid, and what his siblings saw in him that make them totally willing to accept him being an assassin without any need for more explanation???
I mean, there isn't a lot of implication, but Five straight-up calls himself a "trained assassin" and Lila asks the Handler whether Five is "the best assassin the Commission's ever produced", so the training he definitely got at Commission. The reason he's so good, the best, arguably, and I've talked about that before, is that the assassin skills were just building on the world's most solid base of survival skills. The fights that aren't straight-up ordered assassinations he approaches with a mindset more akin to 'I will survive, and I will do anything it takes to do so' rather than 'you will die, and I will do anything it takes to do so'. It's the attitude that got him through the apocalypse, and if that now includes killing people, something he's already familiar with from the Umbrella Academy days, and gets trained in more precisely by the Commission, then so be it. I don't really think most of these skills were carried over from his childhood, necessarily. He's just quick to adapt, an ability repeatedly highlighted in the show.
As for why it barely fazes his siblings to learn that he is an assassin? If you just go Ockham's razor, it's because the writers needed the plot to move forward, and if all the characters constantly question the guy who narratively is mostly in charge of moving the plot, you're not getting anywhere. They got the reasonable doubt out of the way when Vanya didn't believe him about the apocalypse, so having that beat of doubt and disbelief repeated ad infinitum would have made Season 1 boring. Fun fact: if you go off the show canon, Vanya, after 2 whole seasons, technically still doesn't know Five is an assassin, because she was never present when it was discussed.
If you look at it from a character perspective, I don't really think it's because he must've been a merciless killer in his childhood already. The only time we see him fight as a kid, he is very clearly the least overtly violent of the five kids (Luther throws a guy through an upper-storey-window, Diego stabs a man in the chest, Allison rumours one to shoot his friend in the foot, Ben slaughters a room full of people, and Five hits someone. With a stapler.). This is, of course, in service of the Istanbul (Not Constantinople) twist at the end of that episode, contrasting Five then to Five now, a ruthless little war machine. I think the foundations of what Five could become were there, the behaviours shown were all things that later became amplified, but he was not especially vicious or cruel.
The way I interpret their ready belief is that they know that Five is not a liar. He's many things, but he is, and always has been, very straightforward, very arrogant, very scientific and very self-centered. He doesn't lie, he doesn't embellish, he tells things as he sees them, no matter who he's talking to, and he has a grip on what he's doing. He did it with Reginald when he was small, and that directness hasn't changed when he comes back. His siblings probably were thinking along the lines of 'what does he have to gain by making this all up?'. Klaus straight-up didn't care whether he was telling the truth or not, he was just along for the ride, and then he got kidnapped and found out the truth the hard way. Diego saw someone he loved die because of Five, and a trail of bodies is a good indicator of whether someone has made enemies or is making everything up. Luther heard Five's entire story - and believes him - and Allison is the last to learn about it while her brothers are already convinced of Five telling the truth.

Another thing we all tend to laugh off as a moment of comedic gold, is when Five’s temporal anomaly appears, and Klaus screams “OUT OF THE WAY,” rushes at it without a thought as to his own safety, tries to “put it out” with a fire extinguisher, then hurtles the whole extinguisher at the anomaly.
Tumblr media
Allison begs to understand his plan, and he wails “Well I dunno, do you have any other ideas?!” and as funny as that genuinely is, Klaus also flung his scrawny body at an unknown danger with any tools at hand, for the sake, once again, of protecting his siblings.
This is not a new impulse, and it’s easy for us to forget in the storm of Season Two and the way he conceals Ben from the others (I’ve talked about why that is, elsewhere, too, if anyone’s interested <3 ) but Klaus has always tried to protect and/or comfort his siblings.
There’s the Klaus and Luther scene, just after Luther learns Reginald sent him to the moon for no reason, which leads ultimately to Klaus actually dying to try to pull Luther out of his depression.
There’s, as I’ve discussed, the way Klaus tries to convince everyone that Vanya isn’t necessarily a danger if they just ask her how she feels about her newfound White Violin powers, and don’t lock her up in the same cell where she was stuck as a child:
Tumblr media
There’s immediately embracing and kissing Vanya when he sees her again:
Tumblr media
There’s Allison facing race riots in Season Two, and Klaus immediately pulling her to safety, and leading her away from the police: later to help her bury the body of one of the Swedes, without question: in fact, maintaining calm and composure for Allison and Ray, who are both understandably shaken.
There’s telling Diego he “looks like Antonio Banderas” to help buoy him up emotionally to go into a ground zero of Vanya’s powers.
Tumblr media
There’s frankly Klaus letting Ben piggyback off his whole life, because Ben’s “scared to go to the light” and wants some connection back to their family, and even letting Ben possess him to kiss a girl, which proves to be tremendously unpleasant physically and mentally (this when Klaus already suffers from issues of bodily autonomy because of his powers AND his war PTSD). And forgiving Ben immediately thereafter when Ben doesn’t respect his “stop now.”
Tumblr media
And how about when they’re children? Same deal. For instance, in a flashback in the pilot, hugging Allison while both cry after getting their  Umbrella tattoos.
Tumblr media
Basically this is just a big old Klaus stan post, for his instinctual, innate sweetness and supportiveness.

Okay so I know it’s been done before but I really wanted to talk about the importance of this one scene! (Wish I could find the older posts of people discussing this scene but if I can I will link them) Excuse my awful screenshotting skills.

So we’ve got Allison’s voice-over here. I 100% believe that they paired these shots of Klaus and Dave with this particular part of Allison’s letter on purpose. Also, I think the song lyrics during these shots are significant, too. Pretty on the nose if you ask me.
Tumblr media
So, this has me guessing that we’re definitely going to see more of Klaus grieving Dave. It’s not going to get easier for him.
Tumblr media
We’ve got this shot of Klaus that cuts to Dave in the middle of this song lyric.
Tumblr media
Clearly referencing Klaus and Dave’s romantic relationship. (I mean, need I say more? What were the odds of Dave meeting someone like Klaus in a warzone in 1968, and what were the odds of Klaus dropping right in front of Dave’s cot? Dave and Klaus are grappling with 1. internalized homophobia, and 2. self-hatred, respectively, so I can imagine neither of them ever thought they’d stumble into one another in fucking Vietnam in 1968 through some accidental time travel, much less be loved so much by one another. Okay I’m getting off-topic...)
Tumblr media
“It’s going to get worse” as it shows Dave boarding the bus, sealing his fate of fighting in Vietnam. It’s hopeless at first. That’s the end. We’re convinced just as Klaus is that Dave will die just the way he died in Klaus’ past.
Tumblr media
“And I never dreamed that I’d lose somebody like you” further reminds us of Dave’s death, possibly destined to happen in all timelines. Maybe this shot is also about Dave losing Klaus? He’s clearly looking for him, maybe hoping he’ll drop in out of nowhere and try to stop him. He wants Klaus to stop him. He can’t get himself to do it on his own.
But then.
“Let’s go, Marine.”
In the original timeline (from season 1), Dave joined the army, not the marines. This gives us a little inkling of hope that maybe Dave won’t die because he won’t be on hill 689 on February 21st.
Klaus doesn’t know this, of course, and I think the lyrics here are suggesting that Klaus believes Dave is still going to die again.
Tumblr media
And then Allison says that as the doors close behind Dave on the bus. It’s going to get worse before it gets better.
Could this mean that Dave will survive the war in this timeline?
This timeline being, the new 2019 that the Hargreeves siblings travelled to?
There are honestly sooo many theories to be made here, but I think the show is 100% hinting (not very subtly) that
1. We’re definitely going to see Dave again. At what age, I’m unsure. Could be any and all (dump your theories on me!!!)
2. Dave will survive in this timeline
3. But Klaus thinks Dave is still dead
4. Something worse will happen to Klaus and Dave, possibly in season 3 (again, theories theories theories!! I have some of my own). That could mean that something bad will happen to Klaus or to Dave individually, or to their relationship
5. Klaus and Dave’s story will have a happy ending (”before it gets better” pretty clearly implies that it will at one point get better for one or both of them. I’m guessing at the end of the series)
Cross your freaking fingers.

Since my state, Georgia, is having the annual Peaches to Beaches event which is two days of statewide yard sales, I thought it would be interesting to show how America, the states, and any other countries wanting to participate both 1p and 2p would be during this event. So here you go!
Georgia is happily selling fresh produce like boiled peanuts and Vidalia onions and peach-based deserts. Her homemade peach cobbler and ice cream are to die for!
Antonio (Spain) also sells many fresh tomatoes, olives, and other vegetables. He doesn't understand why no one wants his Olive Juice though.
Hawaii and Alaska make a killing selling lemonade at their stand with a free complimentary handmade flower crown with every purchase. While using their sheer cuteness to attract everyone including one of those sweet biker gangs. It's really surreal to see a huge gang of buff, tattooed, tough-looking guys in leather wearing flower crowns and drinking lemonade. Allen's also there to supervise and ward of creep. Also, to provide people more 'incentive' to buy their lemonade.
Texas breaks out the Texas BBQ and is in a Barbecuing turf war with Jett (Australia). They draw huge crowds for the five-alarm chili as well and hold a competition who can eat the most without burning out their tongues and/or passing out.
Florida sells some of the weirdest stuff you'll ever see. "Want a full-scale model of a gator made entirely out of bottle caps? Only ten bucks! Want a portrait of Florida Man painted with orange juice? 15 bucks!"
Nevada also tries to sell weird and sketchy stuff to scam everyone. "This piece is the genuine article folks! One napkin gently used by Elvis Presley himself! Just 500 bucks! Also, gets into a haggling war with Lars (Netherlands). Somewhere Alfred's dad instincts go off and he reminds himself to ground Nevada.
California, Oregon, and Washington collaborate and California sells anything vegan or made with avocadoes and the autographs of Hollywood stars, Oregon sells his old tye-dyed shirts and records, they also made him sell his old groovy hippy bus from the sixties he'd never got rid of no one knew they had. Oregon can be a bit of a hoarder, so they had to tie him to a chair and gag him because he wouldn't surrender the bus without a fight. Washington also tries to sell and drink cups of coffee, but in the hot Southern heat, this doesn't end well.
Louisiana sells anything Cajun-style from frog legs to fresh gumbo, to beignets. Also has a full collection of Mardi Gras masks and shrunken voodoo heads on sale for two bucks a pop.
Gilbert (Prussia) gets tricked by Nevada and gets a ton of stupid things he doesn't need. Ludwig (Germany) tries unsuccessfully to keep him on a metaphorical leash.
Ludwig always checks the quality of things he sees and buys dog toys and supplies for Blackie, Berlitz, and Astor. Later, he actually buys a kiddie leash for Gilbert.
All the while Lutz (2p! Germany) is asleep in a lawn chair with his hat on his face after drinking like six cold beers from this really good booth. All the while, Klaus (2p! Prussia) finds an antique Teutonic Knights flag from a vendor whose family was from Germany.
Vash (Switzerland) buys antique guns from Alabama and Roderich (Austria) also checks out some of Tennessee's guitars. He's horrified upon seeing Alabama's banjo and washboard.
Mathew (Canada) and Emma (Belgium) combine their powers and tag team to sell the best pancakes and waffles on earth with genuine Canadian maple syrup.
New York sells tons of baseball memorabilia and collectibles. Allen, trying to save his bad-boy image, tries to be discreet when buying some while taking Hawaii and Alaska around to get something with their lemonade money. James also gets some hockey memorabilia with Michigan and Minnesota who also got snow cones.
Alaska and Hawaii see a giant deluxe dollhouse but are almost in tears when they don't have enough money. But they end up getting it for free because no one can resist their weaponized puppy dog eyes. Also, no one can resist a growling Allen. Using the leftover money, they buy cute little rainbow umbrella hats for everyone and have Allen wear one who begrudgingly accepts it.
James, walking by with an armful hockey gear and flannel shirts, bursts out laughing when he sees this. In revenge, Allen forces him to wear one too and help him carry the dollhouse, much to Hawaii and Alaska's delight! "I said go my way puck head!" "No, it's my way, you vegan loving hoser!" A passing Francis (France)' is in stylish horror when they also make him and a nonchalant Luis (2p! France), holding a case of vintage wines, wear them too. Hawaii and Alaska go around giving umbrella hats to everyone including a sleeping Lutz they pass by.
Loving (Romano) practically has to supervise Feliciano (Italy) and keep him from buying anything too stupid on impulse or get scammed. They still end up with stacks upon stacks of cookbooks, kitchen wear, and a Mona Lisa made entirely out of Macaroni. They also get umbrella hats.
Flavio (2p! Romano) browses through clothing racks to get ideas for his vintage line. Also checks out the handmade fabrics like quilts. "Such craftsmanship! This pattern is so unique and chic! I simply must have it! What's your price Bella?" The nice old woman selling the quilt just smiles, "Oh just about five dollars young man." "Perfect!" Flavio hands the quilts off to Andreas (2p! Spain) who's practically buried underneath the fabric. Luciano (2p! Italy) facepalms while holding a new knife set in its case. "Oooh! Look at those adorable hats I just have to have one." Cue three more umbrella hats and a humiliated Luciano. "Just kill me now..."
Katyusha (Ukraine), Elizaveta (Hungary), Lillie (Liechtenstein), Natalya, (Belarus), Katya( 2p! Ukraine) and Anastasia (2p! Belarus), and Michelle (Seychelles) explore with armfuls of clothes, new ribbons, and a gun case for Switzerland (Lillie), cast iron frying pans (Elizaveta, watch out Prussia!), farm tools (Katyusha), Jewelry and unmentionables (Katya), dresses (Anastasia), an assortment of switchblades (Natalya), and one of those singing fish on a plague (Michelle). It's definitely an interesting group.
Kiku (Japan) and Kuro (2p! Japan) find a nerd booth selling comics, manga, and Japanese weapons like katanas. Kuro test swings a blade and tries to slice the table so hard it breaks the blade, "Hmmm, not sharp enough for me, got anything else?" He throws it on the pile of broken blades he's already tested. Kiku stockpiles on limited-edition manga and he and the vendor end up getting into a huge, heated by Kiku standards, debate on who's waifu is best. Further down, Alfred reads every Marvel/DC comic while keeping an ear out on every state's location. He checks on Texas via his glasses and notices he's beating Australia in the chili contest. "That's my boy!"
Wisconsin wearing a cheese head sells anything cheese-based. He's got cheddar, goat cheese, string cheese, cheese spray, gorgonzola, grilled cheese, cheese curds, Mac n' Cheese, cheese sculptures of all world monuments, you name it he's got it! He also starts a war with Iowa's corn dishes and Idaho's potato dishes. They eventually end up flinging cheese, potatoes, and corn after they start dissing each other's foods. "Take this cheese brain!" "Nice aim, I-da-ho!" "I told you not to call me that!" "I'm gonna go children of the corn on y'all's behinds!" Poor Nebraska is stuck in the middle.
Alfred (America) hears the commotion and using his parent radar, immediately knows who it is and reminds himself to ground Iowa, Wisconsin, and Idaho later along with Nevada who, though still grounded for sure, makes him feel a little proud of since he managed to out haggle Netherlands.
New Mexico and Arizona also sell Native American handicrafts along with things like dreamcatchers and giant inflatable aliens. While Delaware, being the boring stick in the mud that he is, walks by with a framed and complete U.S. quarter collection from a vendor.
Kansas sells out of every sunflower she had courtesy of Ivan (Russia). Ivan and her the team up to buy out every sunflower seed from here to kingdom come. Viktor (2p! Russia) buys all the vodka he can find and a new shovel while Xiao (2p! China) tries giving people tattoos for 10 bucks a pop.
He tries to convince Yao (China) to get a hello kitty one to match the giant plushie he's holding, with the encouragement of Leon (Hong Kong) and Yong Soo (South Korea) who all collectively agree he needs to quit being such a grandpa. They also like calling him an antique-like the items on sale. " Aiyah! I'm not that old, aru!" "Yeah, you are Sensei." "Don't deny it! Da Ze!" Respect your elders!" "Tattoos originated in Korea da ze!" He totally is that old.
Oliver (2p! England) holds a bake sale and has people lined up for blocks to get some. Arthur (England), after having his scones shut down after it poisoned some unlucky squirrels, fries selling authentic magical items like unicorn hair or pixie dust. Everyone thinks he's a little crazy but he did sell a good bit of old magic books he needed to get out of his house, after making sure no one could actually use them of course.
The Nordics also went perusing for antique and handmade furniture when Mathias (Denmark) spots two full sets of Viking costumes and tries to get Lukas (Norway) to try them on with him. Lukas wasn't amused.
Berwald (Sweden) and Tino (Finland) also find a great handmade table to get after inspecting the workmanship and a full Lego set for Peter (Sealand), now if only Mathias would stop squealing like a little kid at the full piece lego death star. Emil (Iceland) keeps thinking he's the mature one until he spots a mini top hat and cane for Mr. Puffin.
In the end, everyone ends up wearing umbrella hats courtesy of Hawaii and Alaska, loving all the strange things they bought or counting the profits they made. Alfred (America) is proud of his kids and visits everyone one of their stands. He ends up looking pretty funny with an umbrella hat (HW, AK), a washboard, (AL),a picture of Florida Man, (FL), a balloon alien (NM, AZ), a tye dye shirt (CA, WA, OR), hockey stick shaped glasses (MN, MI), a giant stack of comics with a replica Thor hammer and Captain America shield on his back, all in a shopping cart (NV), and a giant turkey leg in his hand (Tx). Unsurprisingly, it was a tie between Oliver, Texas, and Australia for who earned the most with their food. Georgia just smiled as this was another great year for her state and people!

from this article, which explains the two timelines, but even that was too confusing for me so; i have compiled what is The Canon Timeline of the X-Men Franchise because good lord i am a simple creature with a simple brain and i need it to be explained to me like im 5
3500 B.C.: X-Men: Apocalypse
In both the post-credits scene from Days of Future Pastand the prologue of Apocalypse, we learn about the world’s first mutant: Apocalypse. Basically, En Sabah Nur was the worst.
1845: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
X-Men Origins: Wolverine attempts to explain Wolverine’s backstory. Starting in 1845 when a young James Howlett grows bone claws after witnessing the murder of the man who raised him. He runs off with half-brother/future Sabretooth Victor Creed.
1861-1865: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Logan and half-brother Victor Creed fight in the American Civil War.
1917-1918: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Logan and half-brother Victor Creed fight in World War I. (They really seem to like wars.)
1944: X-Men: First Class
In First Class,Charles Xavier/Professor X meets a young Raven/Mystique as children in Westchester. He offers her a home. Meanwhile, in a German concentration camp, Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto develops his powers under the abusive tutelage of Nazi Kevin Bacon. (His actual name is Klaus Schmidt.)
1944: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Logan and half-brother Victor Creed fight in World War II and are at the D-Day invasion of Normandy. (They love being soldiers so much.)
1945: The Wolverine
Logan jumps theaters of war and is now a POW in a Japanese internment camp when the atomic bomb is dropped on Nagasaki. He saves an officer named Yashida from the blast. This act of heroism will end up backfiring…
1962: X-Men: First Class
Charles and Erik meet while they are both going after Nazi Kevin Bacon (aka Klaus Schmidt). After working together to build a team of mutants to fight for the CIA, they part ways at the end of the Cuban Missile Crisis, in part because Erik accidentally deflects a bullet into Charles’ spine, paralyzing him. It’s a messy divorce, and each has their own, conflicting view of the best way forward for mutant-kind.
1973: X-Men: Days of Future Past
Wolverine and young Professor X prevent Mystique’s assassination of Trask, but they can’t stop Magento from going all “mutant-kind first” on them and trying to assassinate President Richard Nixon. (Oh, Erik.) Magneto throws Logan into the Potomac where his is fished out by Mystique.
1983: X-Men: Apocalypse
Apocalypse/En Sabah Nur wakes up and sets off on a world domination plot with his Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Magneto, Psylocke, Angel, and Storm. He convinces them to join his plot to destroy the world by giving them really cool makeovers.
Meanwhile, Charles’ mutant school is thriving, and includes teen students: Scott Summers, Jean Grey, and Jubilee. When Apocalypse and his horsemen begin to destroy the world, Charles, Mystique, Beast, and the kids (including Quicksilver and Nightcrawler) stop them.
In a random aside, Wolverine (now with an adamantium upgrade) is freed from his Weapon X imprisonment by Scott and Jean. At the end of the film, a man in a suit collects samples of Wolverine’s blood. (This will become very relevant in Logan.)(n.b. Logan not actually part of Canon Timeline)
1992: Dark Phoenix
We catch back up with the X crew in 1992, nine years after the events of Apocalypse. Charles Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters seems to be going strong, as do the X-Men who also call the school home. Things hit a snag when Jean Grey (who has aged very little since 1983), is hit by a cosmic force during an X-Men mission into space.
2016: Deadpool
Former Special Forces operative Wade Wilson undergoes an experiment that leaves him with powers. He adopts the Deadpool persona and hunts down Ajax, the man who destroyed his life.
Because Deadpool ignores the Wade Wilson character of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it seemingly takes place in the New X-Men Timeline. That being said, Wilson’s meta commentary about the multiple X-Men timelines implies its own meta-universe. But who has time for that?
(n.b. the events of Deadpool 2 (2018) are also part of this timeline)
2023: X-Men: Days of Future Past
At the end Days of Future Past,we see Logan return to a 2023 where there is no Sentinel threat and Xavier’s school is thriving with both Jean and Scott alive and well. Everyone lives happily ever after.
my conclusions:
the lesson here is "literally forget anything you saw in X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) because none of it is canon anymore. this applies to X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), except for the very beginning and the time-jump war-montage title cards." (which were the only good part of the movie anyway)
this sucks because i watched these movies back to back for the first time in the last few days. I guess I shouldn't have bothered 😔
Logan (2017) also not part of the timeline and honestly if it wasn't for Hugh Jackman and Wolverine i wouldn't bother to watch it but it's gonna have to wait bc i have the brain tired syndrome now

Please Don’t Go (I’ll Eat You Whole)
U//nbrella A//cademy Vore Fic!
Hey guys! its been for FUCKING ever since I’ve created a story, its a bit shorter,, but if you guys want i do have a bit of a follow up fic I can post later on!
but this is the Klaus Hargreeves fic i promised y’all!
Spoiler Warning for Umbrella Academy S1 and S2.
Trigger Warnings:  this story contains soft, safe, G/t vore. if you do not like this, I suggest not reading. this story also mentioned digestion and death--neither of which happens! there is also substantial alcohol mention-- klaus is literally drunk the entire time.
It was chance that Dave came by to the house, wanting to apologize to Klaus for the argument and the fight in the diner-- and even though Klaus was happy to see him, the fact that he was piss drunk made it a whole lot harder to keep his mouth shut about what he knew about Dave. the alcohol in his blood wanting to word vomit his way into telling Dave everything.
From his favourite food, favourite book-- and to some details Dave didn’t even want to know about himself. Walking through the garden, it was very apparent that Dave could not believe one word out of Klaus’s mouth.
Klaus didn’t blame him, all he really did was lie and con-- exactly what he was doing with the cult. If Dave was talking about anything else, he would’ve been right.
But he wasn’t. And Klaus had to make him believe, had to try and save the kid, even if that meant Dave would never be with him.
It had all come to a head as Klaus stumbled, trying to get him to not enlist, and he let it slip. Dave's death date--and where he had died.
As Klaus spoke, he could see Dave's hand shaking as it balled into a fist, “Even if I believed you. It wouldn’t matter, it's an honour to die for your country”
Klaus laugh at the naïve patriotism, “that's Bull--”
“I’ve already enlisted.”
Dave's words sliced through Klaus’s hope like a sword, his breath hitching as the words escaped daves mouth, the kid looking at Klaus with anger and confusion.
“you...What?! That's not supposed to happen yet.”
“The other day after i saw you, my uncle took me down to the recruitment office” He looked Klaus down, clearly trying to make it seem like he was disgusted by the man before him, but no matter what Dave did or said, Klaus knew him, knew his secrets, almost like he knew his thoughts.
‘It's all some kind of parlor trick, he’s a con artist’
“He made me sign up, I ship out next week”
Though Dave couldn’t shake the strange feeling that crept up his spine, like he knew who Klaus was, he could feel his face go red
‘Don’t let him get in your head’
Klaus almost fell to his knees at the reveal, he couldn't save him, he was going to that war and he was going to die, and there's nothing Klaus could do to stop him.
He couldn’t stop thinking back to the nightclub, when they were dancing together, holding each other-- even if he could never have that again, he was willing to do everything in his power to make sure Dave wouldn’t have to suffer a death to a stupid war that ended in the same way it had started.
“I have to go, save this story for the next time you want to recruit someone” Dave blinked a few tears away, looking away to quickly wipe them, as if he wasn’t phased by this at all.
As the man tried to walk away, Klaus took his chance-- he had no idea what chance that was, but he was going to do whatever his mind came up with.
“W-wait!” he blurted out, erratic and desperate, making Dave turn around, shocked at how loud the outburst was, not hearing him speak louder than a regular speaking voice before now.
‘Shit...he's staring at me’
“Y-you….” Klaus took a deep breath, calming his voice, trying to sound more rational “you got me.” he shrugged.
Dave blinked, “...what?”
His curiosity peaked, Dave turned around fully, Klaus let a smile slip out
“You’re got me, I’m a fraud” he spoke these words almost gleefully, his own pain being masked by the pure glee of someone he could finally tell the truth to “I didn’t mean to start all of this, but I’m so fucked up, I can’t stop”
Dave straightened his back, looking Klaus up and down “I thought so...glad you could admit it?”
Klaus smiled a big, toothy grin “can I get you a drink? What you’re….23 correct? I can get you the best drinks that’ll knock your socks off-- think of it as a going away present--O-or better yet, a congratulations to finding out my con”
Klaus stumbled over to Dave, who stepped back slightly.
“This...isn’t another attempt to...convert me, Right?” Klaus laughed, shaking his head--like Dave was crazy to even think that-- “fine. One drink, then i'm gone.”
“Of course” Klaus lied through his teeth. Taking a deep breath as he walked towards Dave, right passed him. “One drink.”
The two of them walk to the house, Klaus leading Dave, who was apprehensive, but putting on a brave face.
Ideas swarmed into Klaus’s head on what he could do, he could try get Ben to lift him up again and show he’s not actually lying, and he could also just keep him here for a few days, convince him the war was idiotic.
With every thought pulsating through his head, an even more ridiculous one came to light, it was like his brain was trying to one-up itself.
Suddenly, it was like a lightbulb flashed into his head, it was the perfect plan--
Klaus jumped back a few steps as Ben appeared beside him, almost making him fall--he looked at the drunk man with annoyance before speaking, “Klaus, show him to the door and leave, I know what you’re thinking”
Dave jumped back as well “what the hell are you doing?”
Klaus looked to Ben, who almost had a pleading look on his face, then to Dave--it was clear he was on thin ice with the kid.
“Sorry sorry!” Klaus brushed himself off “thought i saw a bee, disgusting things” he turned to Ben-- he turned to nothing in Dave’s eyes--”Such pests, I think they need to stay in their own business”
As ben rolled his eyes, Dave's face twisted into more concern for Klaus, rather than anger, “...Right”
“Anyways” Klaus cringed at the look Dave gave him as he turned to the house again, and quietly, as Ben walked back up to him, he spoke to his dead brother.”
“I won’t if I can convince him.”
“You’re plastered, you won’t convince anyone”
Klaus waved his hand in the air “wow! These bees are crazy tonight! Don’t you think, Dave?” he turned to the man, who just stared back, following him sheepishly as they got to the door.
“I don’t see any bees.” he spoke matter-of-factly.
As Klaus opened it, gesturing for Dave to come inside-- he almost felt like the Witch in Hansel and Gretel, luring the man inside. “I guess you’re not looking hard enough.”
Dave could feel a pit in his stomach as he walked into the giant manor, paintings of Klaus plastering the walls with plants up to the ceiling.
With every step Dave could feel something sinking deeper and deeper in the already established pit in his stomach-- he couldn’t put his finger on it, it just felt so...off.
Surly he wasn't the only person who had found out his Con, and why was he being so nice about it all of a sudden? He was denying and Denying all he could a little bit ago, what was going on?
Klaus looked over his shoulder to look at Dave from time to time-- almost to make sure he was actually following-- Through the corner of his eye he could see Ben following, giving Klaus a death glare--- which technically every glare would be a death one since he was….dead.
Klaus finally stumbled into his personal room “This is my sanctuary away from the mob”
It was a small room, only a small bed, and the floor was covered in pillows, it actually looked quite comfortable.
“Feel free to sit wherever you want. I’ll get you a drink.”
Once Dave had taken a step into the room, Klaus closed the door quickly, making the kid jump ever so slightly.
Finally, Klaus had hit all of Dave's red flags, “Actually I need to be back to my Uncle, I should get going before he finds out where--”
“Sh sh shh.” Klaus shushed him, “Sure you don’t need a drink, but just stay a bit longer? We still have so much to talk about” with those words, Klaus popped open a random half full bottle of alcohol, and without another moment to lose, drinking almost all of it, cringing as it burned going down his throat.
Dave stared, just shocked that one person could drink so much alcohol, since he was already drunk.
“Talk about?”
Klaus, now losing any more of his sobriety that was left, finally spoke, his words slurring ever so slightly, “I know you’re all ‘patriotic’ and shit, but joining a hopeless war and--”
He was cut off
“Are you kidding?” Dave scoffed at Klaus, “I fucking knew it. I knew you wouldn’t just admit to me that you’re a fucking con.”
Klaus shook his head, “you have to listen to me, Dave. I may not be an actual prophet but i do  know when you’re gonna die, you have to believe me”
“Shut the hell up! You’re just… a wannabe commie with a shit for brains group backing you.” Dave turned around, preparing to leave without another word.
That was before Klaus bolted up, practically sliding into the door-- a loud bang following as he used himself to barricade the door.
“You are going to die on February 21st, 1968--”
“Get out of my way--”
“Its on A Shau Valley, Hill 68--”
“Shut UP!” Dave pulled away from the drunken man, “I don’t care--Whatever you’re pulling out of your ass, you need to stop. This is ridiculous.” Dave backed up until his back hit the closet, startling him slightly, making him flinch.
‘Why am I so scared?’
Klaus turned to ben, as he sat on the bed, watching-- as if he was witnessing a car crash and couldn’t look away.
“Let it go, Klaus. Let Him go.”
“I fucking CAN”T” Klaus yelled at Ben, “He’s going to DIE.” tears threatened the older mans eyes as he wobbled back and forth.
Dave took the chance he got as Klaus was (or what he thought he was) hallucinating, He bolted for the door, pushing Klaus to the side, who fell to the floor with a yelp.
“Just stay away from me!” Dave grabbed the door handle, about to twist it-- until he felt Klaus grab onto his ankle, making him look down.
He was sprawled on the ground, hanging onto His pant leg tightly.
Pain, anger, and sadness, mixed with a shit ton of alcohol finally took control, bubbling up into him as he allowed his emotions to take control.
Dave couldn’t help but laugh at the sight. “You have to know that's not going to stop me.”
“I’m not stopping you.” Dave's stomach dropped as Klaus chuckled back at him, a deep, almost menacing chuckle.
“Wha--” Dave couldn’t finish the word as a deep, dizzying feeling washed over him like a tsunami.
“Be careful, I don't want you hurt you”
Dave fell to his knees, which seemed like a much farther drop than he would’ve thought, he could feel Klaus’s hand slip off of him.
Klaus watched, sitting up into a crouched position, elbows resting on his knees, hands on his face, almost like a child, a smile wide as he watched in fascination as Dave fell to the floor and began shrinking.
He was always interested in this part, how each person he would shrink, reacted once they really understood what was going on, he called it his own guilty pleasure-- he would never admit it-- people would think he was nuts.
Not that shrinking people isn’t nuts.
“Wh-Whats happening?”
The same thing everyone said-- Dave held his head tightly as the dizzying feeling got worse and worse--though he opened his eyes as wide as possible, though his vision was extremely blurry--he could see one thing.
Klaus standing over him.
‘What the….fuck?’
Klaus looked down at the shrinking man, getting smaller and smaller by the moments passing by “What's happening? Exactly what you think.”
Ben rolled his eyes “Give him a chance to change his mind, please”
“I will!” I will! Now go haunt someone else”
Finally, as if by some miracle, Dave’s vision  came back-- though once he saw what was in front of him, it seemed like regaining his vision was more of a curse.
Seeing a drunk, probably psychotic Giant in front of him staring him down, and he was talking to himself.
“I-I” Dave finally found his voice in the turmoil his head was put through, “w-what the fuck did you...you do?!” his voice started out small, but it was like it grew with every word he spoke.
Klaus couldn’t help but giggle softly, “Sorry, I know this is probably really bad for you but, you just look so goddamned cute~” Klaus reached his hand out slowly, and to that, Dave backed up right into the doorframe.
Klaus was wrong, this wasn’t just ‘really bad’ for Dave, it was Terrifying for the young lad, he felt the wood hit his back, his eyes darting around to find another way to get away from the looming man.
‘I could run under the door’ he paused for a moment ‘He’d get me before then’
“But…” Klaus pulled his hand back and shifted, so he was sitting with his legs crossed, hands still resting on his face. “To answer your obvious question; I shrunk you”
“I--How--you…” Dave sputtered, his mind scrambled in between what was really happening and how to stop it “Make me normal again!” Was all he could come up with, having to deal with the fact that this was actually happening.
Klaus then frowned, “Well that's entirely up to you, pal” The normal-sized man shrugged at Dave, who just blinked in surprise “You just have to do one thing for me.”
Dave could feel his heart sink at his words--‘what the fuck did he want?’
“s-Sure man, Anything, what is it?” Dave spoke, not even trying to mask the desperateness in his voice.
“Two words.” Klaus held up two fingers, “Draft” one finger down “Dodge” the other finger went down.
‘It’s still about this?’--Dave was almost surprised at what lengths this guy went to so he could just simply not go to war--”I-I can’t, I wasn’t even drafted--”
Klaus just waved a hand “Oh sure you can, millions of men did the same, some for multiple wars, its not too much of a big deal, just lay low for a bit. They’ll stop eventually”
‘Multiple wars?’
He was fucking crazy.
“I-I can’t”
“Why not?”
Dave couldn’t understand why he couldn’t just agree with this man, his uncle would probably say his pride to honesty or some shit like that----“My uncle will kill me! I’d rather die for my country instead at the hands of my shitty family!” Dave paused, realizing what he had just said-- he wasn’t lying, which is really what surprised him.
There was a pause from Klaus as well. Seeing the shock climb onto Dave's face made his fall into a frown, shaking his head.
“You could live here. No Cult shit needed.” Klaus tried once again to get him to agree, just a simple ‘ok’ would work for him, anything that could make this man stop his own death sentence… though one look from Dave made him realize that it was a dumb idea, letting out a slight sigh that turned into a chuckle “Scratch that, they never leave you alone--Fuck they never leave me Alone.”
Dave Stared up into Klaus’s enormous eyes, though Dave's eyes wandered seeing Klaus smile--his Mouth, it was huge-- Don’t think about that, you’ll give him ideas, Dave.
Though unbeknownst to the shrunken man, Klaus was already thinking it.
And his brain was close to considering it.
Klaus stared down Dave.
Dave stared up at Klaus.
It was a standoff.
Klaus could hear ben-- right beside his ear, in a hushed whisper “Let him go.”
He shook his head
“If i let him go, he dies”
“w-What?!” Dave called out, his heart sinking lower and lower as he watched this man seemingly talking to air.  “w-what are you doing?!”
“He won’t forgive you for this if you do it.”
“---I don’t care! You're not the fucking angel on my shoulder--fuck off!” Klaus slurred throughout his tirade, turning to Ben with a glare “dead people don't get an opinion on what I do with the Living”
When Klaus turned, Dave took his chance.
The boy turned--stumbling into a run towards the door, he could barely feel the steps he was taking, it almost felt like he was floating--his heart pounded right outside his chest, if he was just fast enough maybe he could get away before Klaus even noticed.
Maybe.
Possibly.
No.
“h-HEy!”
Dave spun around at Klaus’s outburst, being caught red handed, right by the door, ready to crawl under it--- his stomach sank in, forming a large pit in the bottom of it.
Though before Dave could register what he was looking at, a pair of extremely large hands scooped him into their clutches, and he could only think of one thing---
getoutgetoutGETOUT
Klaus held the man tightly as he pushed against his fingers, kicking, screaming, punching--you name it, he was doing it--- all in an attempt to get out of the giants grasp.
“Come on, you didn't have to do that! I wanted to let you go.”
Dave paused, hearing the soft, almost disappointed tone Klaus’s voice produced, the tone hiring with each word, it was eerie how hurt the man was by this.
Klaus was even more upset on the inside, his gut twisting and his chest tightening. He didn’t look up to Ben, but the ghost could tell who he was speaking to.
“I have to do this”
Dave was about to yell out the obligatory “do what?!”
That was until he was brought closer to Klaus’s face, he cringed at the lingering pungent smell of alcohol on the mans breath.
“h-Hey...Klaus-- Listen I--”
“Don’t talk, It’ll make it worse”
“W-what?!”
Klaus didn't need to use words, as his lips parted, it was all too clear what his intentions were.
Dave's mouth hung open for a moment, waiting for a yell to claw its way out of him, something that would at least make sure that he was fighting back.
But nothing arose, he was just frozen in time, as the man before him simply pushed him into his mouth.
Dave's eyes watered as the smell of alcohol burned through the air, making him slightly gag. Fucking gross.
Somehow, this was what brought him back out of his shock.
Klaus laid back, smiling softly he rolled his eyes back in pleasure, it had been so long since he had eaten someone...at least someone that he actually wanted to eat.
For the first few years, having the cult members beg for him to eat him was exhilarating, he had never gotten to eat people before, and having these people basically put themselves on a silver platter was fantastic.
Until it wasn’t
He didn’t realize that he could actually get sick of this feeling.
The feeling of being actually full, having something alive inside of him, moving, breathing.
When its said like that I sound like a psychopath.
Dave let out a yell as Klaus began rolling him around, pushing him against his tongue, tasting the poor lad. The thick drool clung onto him, he couldn’t fight back, his limbs sliding against anything he tried to push against, the tongue, the teeth, he couldn’t grip onto anything.
This was really happening, he was in another human beings mouth.
He couldn’t stop himself, he had to yell out “HELP ME! ANYBODY PLEASE!” every second he yelled, the more hoarse his voice was.
Klaus couldn't help but smile, maybe the arrogance and narcissism in him was bursting at the seams, it was strange how some of the people in that very house would be on their knees--begging Klaus to do this to them.
Klaus rolled his head backwards slightly, head hitting the wood of the bookshelf as he did so.
“You can still let him out”
Ben sat right in front of Klaus, staring at him with disgust.
This hadn’t been the first time he had watched this same scenario, though it usually involved drugs and alcohol.
“Mmmm!” Klaus shook his head, shushing the ghost, and rattling dave around, the man sliding from side to side across the tongue below him.
“Come on Klaus the kid learned his lesson--”
“Mmm!”
Ben should’ve known this wouldn’t work, Klaus being angry, drunk and overconfident--it was a bad concoction destined to go wrong.
“Just let him go!”
“Mmfine!” finally, a slurred out word ben could recognize emerged out of it.
Klaus’s lips parted as he opened his mouth wide for Ben to watch.
Dave wheezed as his eyes adjusted to the light before him. He was staring at the other side of the room, the mountain of pillows and blankets on the other side of the room.
Out….outside!
Through the slippery and slimy cave, Dave pushed himself forewards, which was less of a push, more of a slide foreward.
Ben couldn’t help but feel pity for the poor dude, and if he was alive, he’d probably just outright snatch him out of the drunkards mouth.
But alas, being dead sucked.
And simply out of spite, Klaus swallowed. Staring into Ben's eyes as he did so.
Dave let out a loud gasp as his legs were pulled into the darkness, forcing himself down his throat
“NO!”
The throat muscles began to drag Dave down, pulling his body deeper and deeper into the tube below him.
Klaus shut his mouth, his point made very clear to Ben, who just sat there---mouth agape and looking disgusted at the man.
Though Klaus paid no mind to this, letting his head roll back into the bookshelf, a small thud following.
He wished he could just enjoy what he could, without his brother bothering him about every little thing under the sun.
It’s not like he was hurting the kid!
Klaus brought his hand to his throat, prodding, feeling the lad kicking through his skin as he began his descent into the esophagus.
Dave couldn’t believe it.
But he had to.
He was being eaten alive. His body being shoved down an esophagus.
Actually no, ‘being’ shoved, would imply that it was force. No. he was being pulled gently down, just another piece of food for the stomach to enjoy.
As dave traveled down his throat, slowly but surely, klaus found himself grinning, a hand on his stomach prematurely, waiting for the moment his prey arrived.
Though a small pout on his face formed as his tongue dragged across his lips
“Dammit Ben!” Klaus lifted his head, “I didn’t even get a good taste of ‘im!”
Though as he looked to face the ghost, Ben was nowhere to be found.
The room was empty.
“Fine! Be like that!”
Dave cringed as his body spilled into Klaus’s stomach, the putrid smell of alcohol pungent in the air.
Dave could’ve gotten drunk right off the fumes.
“no….nononoNONONO!” Dave pushed against the organ, cringing at the squelching sound it made around his hands. “PLEASE---PLEASE STOP!”
Klaus dropped his hand down to his bare stomach, the organ slightly mishapen, he blamed it on the kid, not the massive amount of alcohol he consumed.
He pushed back at the skin below his hands as Dave struggled, “thats not gonna do much, its best to just relaaaax”
Klaus began softly massaging the organ, small circular motions, though it didn’t help much, feeling the man continue to kick and yell to him.
But damn, it felt good.
As he continued to ignore the yells-- the pleading from within the confines of him, he could feel himself growing more and more exhausted.
“Well then, davey” Klaus patted his stomach, covering his mouth as a small burp escaped his stomach. “this has been a great time, but I am exhausted.” he groaned, getting up from his sitting positon, bringing his hand back down to his stomach.
Daves heart sunk...that meant...that meant….”p-please klaus…” his voice choked out “please don't kill--”
Dave let out a loud gasp as his surroundings shifted with each step, feeling a sickness inside of himself as if he was on a ship at sea.
Klaus shushed the man, “I already said you're gonna be fine!”  did he? He couldn’t remember “I’m not going to hurt you, and if i was, I wouldn’t be this elaborate, trust me.” he fell right back down to the mountain of pillows, the softness engulfing him all around.
It was hard to believe a man who had eaten him alive.
Klaus brought his head up, poking his stomach. “Hey dave?!”
The kid paused his struggling, feeling the finger specifically prodding at him, “w-what?!”
“If its any consolation, you tasted really good”
“...its really not.” the disgusted tone in his voice growing slightly.
“Welp, can’t blame me for trying. Try and get some rest now.”
“W-wait you can’t just leave me in here!” dave pushed at the slimy walls, his hands slipping and sliding around, it was hard to get a grip.
Klaus just shifted around, making Dave wobble even more-- Placing his hand overtop of the organ containing the young man.
It didn’t take long for klaus to pass out, his full stomach mixed with the comfortable position, it was almost instantaneous.
For dave, it took a few more hours.
He fought for quite some time as klaus slept, seeing if he could do anything that would annoy the man into spitting him up. though as the hours droned on, and the fact that he was still fully intact, not even a tingle or twinge of pain started to dawn on him. Sure, he was okay, and sure, he wasn’t going to die in there--
But how long was klaus going to keep him in there for?
It really didn’t take long for the adrenaline he once had to wear off, his body begging for sleep, and even as the kid protested, not wanting to lower his guard, he couldn’t help but feel his eyelids pulling shut, the warmth and darkness almost forcing him into sleep.
He hated to mention it, but the sounds around him were quite helpful too.
Sure, he had bouts of anxiety with every gurgle and groan klaus’s stomach created, but he ended up growing used to them, the low drum of his heartbeat calming and rhythmic, even as klaus breathed in for air, he could hear the ‘wind’ going back and forth from his lungs.
As he finally gave into his own body’s pleas for sleep, he hoped to god that Klaus would let him out in the morning.
And with that thought, he was out like a light.
