i hope I’m not bothering you by asking but i was just wondering about if they didn’t forget that dan and jenny were siblings in s3 (but still without changing the actual plot of the season tho, so like extra scenes) how do you think they would interact and scenes w/ them would be like? because i’m literally thinking about any time they ever interacted in s3 and the only two i can think of are a) in the episode of everyone trying to stop jenny from losing her virginity (which is weird) dan talks to jenny for two seconds before going over to vanessa and b) dan punching ch*ck (which was v satisfying to watch but like, any scene of them actually talking beforehand would’ve been great, thanks)

hiii you're not bothering me at all! i'm a bit late to respond to this because of like, medical reasons (all good now!) but i did want to respond to this eventually. i feel like i have already said something about the humphrey sibs but it's genuinely been so long that i barely remember what i said.

disclaimer that it is fuck o' clock in the morning so im not sure how coherent this ask is, also disclaimer that i havent watched gg in a while so i may be a lil out of touch.

trusting my mutuals to respond if anything i said makes no sense though kldfhgfdkl y'all know who you are you are the real ones

i think it'd be complicated but interesting if the humphrey sibs were there for each other consistently, because s3 is features queen jenny, and dan & vanessa being closer-than-before in uni, so i think there is some amount of distance in both their lives in terms of like. wondering why the other is doing whatever it is that they're doing. they're not both in high school any more, hell, they don't even live together any more, and dan for the first time in his life is a popular kid! jenny seems to be on top of the social hierarchy but of course nothing comes without a price! so there's like an inherent newness to both their situations which is unrelatable to the other. like however much dan wants to help jenny, or jenny wants to understand dan, they're both living thru stuff the other hasn't been through & so on. theyre in different eras of their lives, etc etc.

which isn't to say that they can't support each other, but it is to say that what that support would look like would be messy and confusing, i feel. they would have to actively learn how to be there for each other, or whatever else. there would be a learning period and also a "oh, you're not actually happy? i thought you were finally thriving what's wrong" kind of thing from dan @ jenny, possibly. because s3 is sad like that, it's a good time for dan (mostly??) and a horrible time for jenny.

i do think dan would not be okay with the way everyone is being oddly sexual towards jenny re: her virginity but like we see in 1x05 where he tells her off in front of her friends for wearing a dress that he compares to a cocktail napkin, sometimes he just .... does not realise that he is doing more harm than good/being misogynistic, etc. but as an anon once pointed out on here to me, comparing s1 dan to s3 dan isn't fair, because by the time we reach s3 dan HAS grown a lot as a character, and i honestly headcanon him to be far more feminist & thoughtful in how he treats the women in his life at that stage, compared to s1. so while i DO think he would take serious offense at how everyone treats jenny, i don't think he would fight for her in an obvious, confrontational way?

like. vanessa would. vanessa would literally SAY "what are you doing this is weird and invasive and creepy" but dan is non-confrontational to a fault. i do think he would like... do something about it in some other way, best case scenario talk about it to serenate alone, later, and tell them off, worst case scenario, classic gossip girl revenge plot where he gets them to break up or something silly like that. idk. don't look at me.

another thing that i think would be important / interesting is like. examining how all these relationships interact keeping the sibling bond in mind. because there was sooo much serena vs jenny tension in s3 and i feel it would've been interesting to actively explore how that was impacting both eric AND dan.

from an extra scenes perspective, i think honestly there would be? should be? conflict AND support. jenny's whole thing this season is that she is lashing out at her support system, isolating, trying to prove a point to the people around her. dan, as her big brother, is going to be extra protective probably, maybe even in ways that bristle her and piss her off. but at the end of the day, dan will drop anything & everything to be there for jenny (this is literally what we see of him in the pilot, in 1x01, so i think it's a foundational aspect of his character) so i think even if she tries to get him to fuck off, he will always love her & be there for her. unlike rufus humphrey, which im stil salty about.

oh, and that too. that's something i think about a lot. dan is caught in a strange space where his dad is civil to him but shitty to jenny, and... how does he navigate that? so much of jenny's behaviour in s3 makes sense to me when we look at the things she went thru in s1 and s2. so, for an interesting humphrey sibs arc i think the cumulative effect of all that keeping in mind how dan was / where he was at different points in jenny's story? and vice versa? those are things that can be layered and emphasized on to add more depth.

so yeah, sibling fights, sibling reconciliation, "what the fuck are you doing with your life" followed by "im sorry i did/said that, it was out of line for me" and maybe some gg schemery of taking down girls who are mean to jenny or getting georgie to leave dan alone together.

Okay so i need to bring you up to speed on 2 dreams ig

Dream 1:

I was doing my usually dreaming at high school bs and at the end of the day trying to find my bus. It was foggy and rainy and dream dark so I go to the bus I think is mine, and i dont realllyyy recognize the bus or driver but i also hadnt been in a long time and wasnt confident what i remembered. Basically i asked the guy what number it was and he dream mumbled and said "seats 11, blank and blank) are available vibes.

So im still not sure, but i start walking down the isle to the empty seat and then i get to it, and sitting in the one across is Liam. And as i approach we just look at eachother like...uhhh somethings wrong cause we do not share a bus.

He was wearing the famous blue hoodie and it was scrunched around his face. And i said "well, if youre here im definitely on the wrong bus" and he was like "yeaaaaa.....your prob on the wrong bus" but not in a mean way.

So i quick decide, im gonna leave while i still can. Seeing liam is a funny gag but i just want to get home so id rather be on the right bus.

So i turn around to get off and Liam starts going "wait wait wait, arielle" its now that i see he's sitting in his seat with another girl.

The girl is ...... hawkins....like the chocolate. But regardless i turn back around and he's motioning me to come back. And i go like "what?"

And he says "hey, if the bus driver hasn't said anything i wouldn't leave" basically saying "if you havent gotten caught why leave?" which isnt what i was worried about btw. I just wanted to be on the correct bus home. But liam was phrasing it as, like "aww cmon stay, itll be fun, no ones making you leave"

So fine.

I sit down in the seat next to him. And he seems to be happy about it. So we're riding and i think we're doing small talk. But he's also actively bantering with hawkins and im like.....why did i impulsively stay on this bus to be near him if hes with another bitch. Like i didnt notice who she was till too late?

So theyre like playfully bickering. Like not even flirting bc they were already together.... And i hear her be like "uh you cant do that, i LIVE with you, thats so inappropriate, your girlfriend lives with you you cant do that"

I have no idea WHAT he couldnt do, or what they were talking about. But they were joking around and now i knew that they were not only together but hawkins livesss with him.

But then Liam sort of comes over to my seat and starts talking to me again, sort of making jokes. And im trying to not be weird bc he clearly has a girlfriend so even if i did want to be close to him i felt like i couldnt.

But now he's like super close to me, i cant ignore him, he's being sweet and playful and cute. He evenutally, puts his bag on my lap and sprawls out laying on me. Like lays on my lap like he's gonna take a nap.

And i was like he's so cute, but is this crossing a line? Like i can't caress him or play with his hair or feed into this right? His gf is RIGHT there.

So after a little i feel like he could tell i wasnt reciprocating like, he was expecting me to hug on him and play with his hair but i wasnt. But also it mattered that i wasnt like "get offfa me" when he layed on me. Like i was fine with him laying on me and smiled and giggled but i thought it be to far to cuddle him.

And he noticed i wasnt biting so he sat up.

Around then i noticed hmmm, omg is that joel and chris and jake and brighton?? type beat. Like is that christian c**v**t.

So im realizing omg wait is this bus 99? Which isnt technically my current bus but i do know this route i should be able to figure out when to get off. Even if i get off a chip i can uber home.

But honestly im shocked, it wasnt even just bus people it was just highschool people and.....yea most of them were guys.

But i was confused because why was LIAM here. He was never "on my bus"

But suddenly im more comfortable, like wait i know A LOT of these people. I have to know more than him? Like this is actually my territory not his. He doesnt have homecourt advantage....he just has a girl.

And he wasnt.....rubbing hawkins in my face. But cmon im human he's living with his girl and theyre giggling like an old married couple like i WAS jealous.

So i turn around and see christian/donald h****n and im like "hey i thought i was on some random bus, and now i see all of you guys thats wild is this my same bus from before"

like explaining omg i used to be on here i think? or at least i know a lot of these guys used to be on my bus so i know what neighborhoods we're going to.

So im like trying to catch up with Donald and figure out whats going on here. I also wasnt flirting but it felt good to know like...at least i have friends i can talk to and pretend to look cool. Im not isolated and liam wont think im a loser.

But Donald says.....i dont even know how to describe it lol. Donalds like "yea but...i don't even think we utilized our time together, like we didn't kiss, did we?

And...your guess is as good as mine. He was also being so cheeky about it, like "wait we didnt right?....*blushes* i dont even remember us kissing once >.<"

As if thats the bare minimum, how could we not have even done that? we really wasted our time together

But....i've never- , like it was Donald H****n!!!

So immediately im like "no no, thats not what i meant" kinda blushing kinda giggling uncomfortbly lol. Cause like im flattered really but no we never kissed and its not like i asked you if we ever made love lmaoooo like im not talking about that

I also remember being concious that Liam was in earshot and was like oooh i wonder what he's thinking, he must think im a popular hottie. But i dont have confirmation that he heard

Lots of symbolism i know....

Anyway, there isnt much else.

At one point we stopped somewhere and Liam said like "arielle, do this this and this here and theyll help you get home" and it was actually really sweet of him. I remember being grateful that he went out of his way to help me navigate cause he didnt have to....and i was confused where his head was at with me and......karmic. Lol it is not even worth it to call hawkins karmic. SHe didnt even earn that title.

Hi! No need to rush, but whenever you feel like it, could you do a thing for Aizawa or Hwajin? They’re on their way to a date, but reader’s early, and decides to hang out by the entrance of the meet up spot. As she waits outside the restaurant, a group of guys surround and persistently try to harass/hit on her. They won’t take her rejections, and block her from going inside. Maybe Aizawa or Hwajin see this when they finally arrive, and protect reader/scare the guys off while holding her close

BUT yall finally made some time to go out to dinner at one of your fav restaurants (yayyy!!!)

Yall agreed to meet at the restaurant bc Aizawa had some paperwork to finish at the school

So you dress up and head there and wait outside so you can go in together

PROBLEM IS there's a small group of guys that walk past and see you all dolled up with nobody around and they just have to talk to you bc god forbid men mind their business for once

ANYWAYS Aizawa finished his work and is heading towards the restaurant when these guys show up

You try to be polite at first, telling them that you're waiting for your boyfriend, but they can't take the fucking hint and keep talking with you and complimenting your outfit and undressing you with their eyes

It's honestly super gross and you're getting uncomfortable

Aizawa rounds the corner to where the restaurant is right when one of the guys slips his arm around your waist, and he sees red

Protective Aizawa Activated ™

He stomps over in a matter of seconds, hair flying upwards, his scarf wrapping around the man's wrist and yanking it away from your body

The guy whips around, super pissed until he sees your boyfriend's icy glare

He practically shrinks into himself as Aizawa retracts his weapon and approaches you, still glaring at the men as he puts a hand on your waist and pulls you against him

He doesn't say anything to them; his stare speaks a thousand words for him

"Let's go, Y/N," he'll grumble, gently turning you towards the restaurant as he keeps glaring at the men

He doesn't blink until the two of you go into the restaurant together, but he's still glaring at nothing as you sit down and order food

He's pretty grumpy the rest of the night, mumbling about how he should've just come here with you in the first place so that no creeps could go after you

It takes a lot of reassurance, but you finally get him to calm down so you two can enjoy the rest of the evening together 💕

You end up stopping by a cat cafe afterwards to cheer him up a bit more

It definitely works :)

The two of you were going to meet at the movies, but he got stuck in traffic and was running a bit late

It was fine tho! You just waited outside the theater and dicked around on your phone and minded your business

Hwajin shows up about five minutes after these guys started talking to you and you were beyond uncomfortable

MANNNNN, WHEN I TELL YOU MR. NA LOSES HIS SHIT

He's a v passive aggressive guy before he gets violent, so this fucker just waltzes right up and grabs your wrist, pulling you away from the guys and to his chest

He wraps his arms around you, nuzzling his face into your neck as he stares up at those guys, savoring their shocked expressions

He pulls away from the hug and smiles down at you

"Sorry I'm late. Ready for the movie?"

UH YEA CAN WE PLS GO RIGHT NOW PLEASE

He keeps a hand on your lower back as he guides you into the theater, throwing back a deadly glare before you go inside

He's a bit grouchy that some guys were messing with you, but you keep telling him that you're just grateful he showed up when he did

He decides that from now on, yall are showing up to your dates TOGETHER, whether you like it or not

He's gotta make sure his sweet little puppy is safe and sound and the easiest way to do that is to be with you from the start 😌

He's just super possessive and doesn't want assholes like that to bother you

Just be patient with him and let him be your knight in shining armor, that's the only way you'll ever get any kind of independence again sksksk

Hey, I noticed that you have been a bit less active around here, so I hope everything is alright :)

Thanks for checking in, its v sweet of you 🥰

Im fine but theres a couple reasons ive been a bit less active. Firstly im working an extra day this year than i was for most of last year so i have less time to just dick around online. My hours are also a bit different so i have less opportunities to get any writing done before work like i used to and im often p tired when i get home so dont really feel up to doing more than watching tv.

The other big reason is that im just seeing less queen/borhap cast stuff on my dash of late. A lot of the blogs i initially followed for this fandom have either deactivated, stopped posting or moved on to other fandoms. Which is fine! Theres not a lot of new stuff going on here so ofc its not gonna be everyones primary fandom anymore. But it does mean i just dont see stuff to reblog as much as i used to. I know i have things in my likes that i intend to go through and queue but i havent got round to it yet.

Im defs not gonna leave any time soon and i still have ideas for fics and obvi im still working on ADKoE but i cant promise im ever gonna be super active again. But i will try and get some stuff in my queue so theres at least Something happening over here lmao.

Don’t know if you have noticed but lately (last week or two) there had been less and less new silverV fics on AO3. It breaks my heart. So thank you for all your answers here! You are keeping the fandom alive.

And as you answered recently a « daddy » Johnny ask, do you think V and Johnny could end up marrying each other?

I don’t necessarily think they fit the description but if it had to happen how would it be in your opinion ?

I havent really noticed but tbf, I havent been reading as much fanfic and have been preoccupied writing my own (hehehehe) as well as other life stuff. But its natural for these things in fandom to kind of slow down, speed back up and have an explosion again. Things happen, life gets busy and less folks are writing, then life frees up and they can again. Im always happy to help keep up the flow, but I wouldn't worry about the fandom or ship dying, if I can enter the FC5 fandom like 2ish years after the game came out and still find an active fandom. Cyberpunk 2077 and SilverV will keep going for a long long time.

But anybuttts, SilverV and marriage. My personal opinion and feelings, and as always to each their own. But kinda like my personal opinion that SilverV would be childfree, I dont see them really caring much about marriage (at least not Johnny for sure). I see them as mostly a "we dont need the government involved in our relationship or a piece of paper to prove our feelings," type of people.

However, I still can see them feeling that way and doing marriage/marrying stuff. Cause so far into their relationship, Johnny kind of start acting like they are married. Like, maybe he starts to kinda wanna call them wife/husband, because we're all kind taught those words have a deeper meaning/connection. And no normal word encompasses what they are, but he wants those "deeper" words. But hey, fuck the paper, he'll call V that cause he wants to, the fuck he needs the governments approval to do it.

And, he'd love the idea of a ring, not necessarily blowing cash on consumerist capitalist giant ass engagement ring and fuck the diamond industry, but him and V wearing aNOTHER PIECE OF JEWLRY THAT REPRESENTS THEIR CONNECTION, ONE THAT ALSO SIGNALS TO OTHER PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE A PARTNER SO BUZZ OFF, HE CAN GET BEHIND THAT.

So they end up with wedding rings and people give them shit teasing them , you're not even really married, you got wedding rings but no wedding.

And Johnny and V get thinking; a wedding is basically just a party to show off to people that you love each other. And that aint bad. Excuse to blow some eddies on top shelf booze, food, drag all their friends into one place. Excuse to see each other dressed up, though not too dressed up, Johnny would try to add in there. He doesnt wanna look like some corpo, c'mon, V. So look at that they're having a wedding. The ceremony of it would be the shortest part, maybe let Padre do the whole spiel so to him and Mama Welles they're at least married in the eyes of god. Johnny doesnt really care about that, I know my V doesnt, but someone elses might. But hey it makes Mama Welles happy and thats reason enough to do it. Vows are fun, baring their souls about each other in front of people??? Hmmm, ahhhh, at best short but emotional. Neither can really stand to be that...gushy and vulnerable for too long. Honestly, they may just save their vows until they're alone, keeping it between them. They love their friends and essentially family sure, but no one outside of them could ever understand the connection and...they kinda like it that way, kind of like that those deeper feelings, the vulnerability of expressing it.
