you know what, I decided to throw in how many daughters/sons I'd think they would have, too. For shits and giggles.

Featuring: Azul, Vil, Malleus, and of course I need to add my baby girl Lilia <3 I'm sorry, I really can't write Rollo, I sat here for an hour trying to think of something, but I suppose he is where my creativity halts... my apologies. I hope you like this nonetheless!

General warnings: Afab reader, but no pronouns are used. I feel like there is obvious malleus favoritism because I think he's a huge simp that wants a bunch of babies LMFAOOO, there's so much to write on him. And Lilias is a little bit more on the angsty side of things...but overall fluffy! Not very proofread either <3

Azul

He is BEYOND anxious. More anxious than he had ever felt in his entire life. You? His lovely significant other, pregnant, with HIS child? His offspring?

Almost faints at the news. When you tell him the news, he just stares at you with wide eyes and jaw ajar.

He is happy, truly, but he's honestly a mess. Will this be a mostly human child? Will you be giving birth to an octo-egg? Will they need to be birthed in the water of the sea? So many uknown variables and questions swim in his mind, but his first plan of action is to hug you tightly and sob into your shoulder.

CONSTANT doctor checkups. He's asking you to go more often than they would recommend, but he can't help it. He needs to be 10000% certain that you are going to be okay and find out what form his child will be taking.

Imagine if it's twins, oh my gosh. He would actually faint.

his children will have a never-ending supply of love from Uncle Jade and Uncle Floyd

Weird presents, probably ingesting food from the sea by his recommendation, prenatal potions, and bed rest. If he read it, you were doing it. Your health was his number one priority.

Azul is probably leaning towards a traditional father, going to work and getting as much profit as possible to support you and his children. But of course, he will take a significant amount of time off to help you and any obstacles that come with having a mer-folks child.

On the sweeter side...

His hands will be trembling ever so slightly, with tears in his eyes every time he feels your stomach. He will kiss your stomach, and lay on your lap to be close by. He can't believe he has come so far in life- to the point where he has a beautiful significant other such as yourself and a child on the way.

He worries about many things, finances, being able to get the most out of life, if he will be able to provide for you and this child, and the kind of life his child will have.

Kind of hopes that his child is mostly human. He was bullied for his species, being slow, pudgy, and whatnot. That's not the life he wants for his children if they end up looking more like him.

You're able to calm his nerves, though. All in all, he is incredibly excited to meet his new baby, and will be doing so by his beloveds side <3

I personally see him having one child. Probably a boy, probably an easy baby. I don't think Azul would want more than one child.

Vil

the moment he saw that positive pregnancy test, he had a conflicting wave of emotions.

Of course his outward reaction was to hug you, stroke your head, and pepper your face in kisses. Of course, the news elated him, he seemed calm and collected enough, but there were many worries in his mind.

He doesn't want to accidentally "ruin" his child.

Vil was always in the face of cameras, the face of the public's wary eye, and was hyper-focused on his image and how others may perceive him.

He would hate to accidentally subject his child to the same watchful eye of the public and create this whole image that he needs to be perfect. He wants this child to grow up how they choose, with good values, instead of fearing what may come out of the public opinion.

always hiding you and shielding you from paparazzi. He wanted to hide the news that you were pregnant until later down the line. There are some crazy fans out there, and he would never risk something happening to you. Face masks and disguises were not unknown to you from dating him already at this point, but it was almost as if it came out tenfold.

Rook and Epel = sweetest most doting uncles ever!

Vil had to slap Rook on the head when he felt like Rook was getting a little too handsy with your baby bump.

Epel made sure you had the best batch of apples straight from the farm! Good for the baby, he says!

Vil loves playing music for you and his child, piano, singing...he loves it. it's great bonding for the both of you. He'd hum and sing songs to your stomach while rubbing it gently.

Finances will never pose a problem. Another thing that was never a problem, was Vil going out of his way to take off work and make sure he was there to properly take care of you. You never felt abandoned and alone despite his busy schedule and the fact he was always out doing some sort of movie shoot or commercial, he would never hesitate to take off or call in if you were having a particularly rough day.

Overall, he's excited! He hopes the baby grows up in their own skin and individuality, making choices for themselves when it comes to their career path. And a little side note...he really liked how cute you looked waddling around pregnant with a baby bump. Heuehue.

I can envision you and Vil possibly having two-three children, pretty even in age difference. Depends! I think he would like a big family, get a home with plenty of space. I can see him with both boys and girls, I think I see Vil being a really good "girl dad" tho.

Malleus

absolutely ecstatic. He wanted this so so so bad. He was over the moon. He held back an embarrassing display of giggling and fangirling over the fact he impregnated you, instead opted with a smile and a "Wonderful."

You sometimes wonder if he purposefully did something to result in your pregnancy because I like to think he's a little bit insane like that, but it's okay! You don't mind!

This man wants so. many. kids. Half-fae Half human children run around the castle bringing it to life and showing off the world the unity between humans and faes. He doesn't care if anyone else doesn't agree with this, he on the other hand is absolutely bemused by you and the fact you are bearing his children.

Will they come out as eggs needing to be hatched? How long will it take to hatch with your nonmagical side? Will they have mostly human attributes? Will his fae genetics be so dominant that it's like a bunch of little copies of him? Will his child have your ears and his eyes? and vise versa? will his child come out looking just like he did, in a full dragon form, or will his child come out like a normal human? He has asked ALL of these questions and more. He is so excited.

Buys a lot of clothes, builds rooms in the castle (yes, rooms. because he knows you will have more of his children and wants to be prepared.) "Can never have enough to be prepared for all outcomes," He says. Whatever floats his boat, I suppose!

Appoints the most skilled doctors there is in the Valley. You are always, without a doubt, taken care of. He reads piles upon piles of parenting books, he's always by your side, to the point where sometimes he brings you into important meetings just to be sure you were in his sights.

He vows his children will never feel the crushing lonliness he did as a child. He vouches to always be availble to have meals with his children, to play with his children, and be active in their learning process. He will allow them to travel all over and gain knowledge, and be certain they will never feel like they are missing out on anything.

He LOVES your baby bump. At night in bed he will press his ear up against your stomach, rub it, kiss it, talk to it. He is so infatuated with you and your body. Kisses every single stretch mark, and his hands are all over you. Seeing you pregnant with his child stirs up some sort of desire to keep you that way, but he tries to...push down this part of him. For the most part. Heuheu.

And when you two are sleeping, his dragon tail always comes out to wrap around you protectively. It's his way of making sure both of you are safe through the night because sevens forbid anything happens to his beloved and their child(ren).

Honestly, I am a firm believer that Malleus would have twins, for some reason. Two hatchlings! Together! A boy and a girl. (I have a whole fic idea for this...you'll probably see it one day. heuheu.) or two boys. I think it would be super chaotic with two twins with big draconic features and attitudes, alot of running around and mischief in the house!! He would of course go on to have more children with you. I think it may become an addiction for him. Or not! I can also see him being content with two.

Lilia

Honestly, when you first gave him the news, he was uncertain how to feel. He inquired if you were serious,him raising a child at his age? He wasn't certain he'd be able to do it. He raised Silver, and now that his magic reserves were dwindling, he was worried he wouldn't be able to fully be there for you and your baby.

"Lilia...i'm pregnant." Once those words left your lips, his normal silly demeanor dropped slightly. He had a thoughtful look upon his face, eyes wide staring at you. He asked if you were certain, and it was initially a long and deep discussion about your future together and how things will pan out.

After talking it out, a few tears and heartfelt moments, Lilia smiled brightly and gave you the biggest hug and kiss on the cheek. He started to become a little more excited! And once you shared the news with Silver, Malleus, and Sebek, they were more than happy to pitch in a helping hand.

Honestly, I think as he saw your baby bump grow, so did his excitement. He of course loved the children he adopted more than anything in the entire world, but something about looking at you holding your tummy full of his very own blood, it felt...different.

He was nervous, for sure. This was a child that was going to carry his lineage, his very own DNA coursing through that baby. He wasn't sure how things would turn out but prayed that this baby would have a life of peace and acceptance, unlike his war-filled days and alienation for being a lesser type of fae.

He was OBSESSED with how you looked pregnant. He could get used to this sight, you waddling around, swollen feet... for more in-depth details about how he felt about you being pregnant, you can take a read at this fic I wrote a while ago about it. All in all, he pampers you to death. Rubbing your feet, kissing your stomach, tracing your stretch marks with his fingers...oh he could truly get used to this.

He does fear what the future may hold. He wants all of his children to see him at his strongest, not to see him slowly give into old age as his magic fades to nothing. You may have to reassure him a few times throughout your pregnancy that you and this child will love him no matter what, and remind him that YOU are magicless as well. And Lilia would make an amazing father, with or without his "power." It's his personality and determination as an amazing, child-loving figure that will give this child a life to look forward to.

Once he gets over the insecurities about becoming a father to a new half-fae, half-human baby, he starts to dig up old parenting books he used to have.

He will give this baby, and you, as much love as he possibly can <3\

I can see Lilia with a girl! Probably just one baby, because he can only handle so much anymore! He would be an AMAZING girl dad. He would be a great father regardless of the gender of the baby, but I can really see him with a daughter for some reason. The visions are strong with this one.

When you told him the only thing you fought was a door…and you lost…he’s relived but also more concerned and ever that he can’t leave you out of his sights for a SECOND

Makes you food that’s high in iron and some of your favorite sweets for desert, he doesn’t know how much blood you lost, but still a good idea to keep your iron and sugar high

Even if your totally fine he’ll tell you to lay down

He’s just a concerned man. He’s SO stressed.

Honestly one of the least panicked, but still concerned for your general health.

“No, you’re staying here, and you’re gonna like it. Ace and Deuce’s dumb ideas can wait, you’re mine for now.”

He’s also even more princely when you’re in your period, because he sees it as a challenge to prove that he’ll be an excellent husband in the future.

Chocolate? Gotchu. Need him to take notes for you on a particularly rough day? He’s there even if he isn’t IN THAT CLASS-

Honestly I think his instincts would make him alot more clingy. Sent of blood either means a partner in heat or someone who’s injured or ill

Thus any of those things make him want to keep you stationary and to himself

He orders Ruggie to get you anything you want, and demands you nap with him more often, especially if you had a bloody nose and lost a-lot of blood

Stand up too fast and are about to go down? Leona catches you, grumbles about, it then moves on.

Very possessive during this time. Ruggie and Grim and such are fine to be around you, but not people like Jack, Ace, or Deuce.

“Lay your ass down before you pass out again. You hit the floor, and i’m leaving you there to your own devices, you here me herbivore?”

You’re getting blood all over the floor—

NO DON’T USE YOUR SLEEVE TO STOP YOUR NOSE FROM BLEEDING THAT ONLY ANGERS HIM MORE—

Will lead you to the bathroom, have you strip and stand in the shower.

Then gives you tissue to stop the bleeding as you sit in the base of the shower.

Once your done, he’s making you shower as he washes your clothes and makes sure Rook got the stain out of whatever you bled on.

Much more understanding of menstrual blood, and will give you a diet high in iron and sugars.

Definitely that bitch who has your cycle mapped out on his phone, and has your perfect diet and routine planned for it.

“Make sure you eat all of it. I portioned it perfectly to give you all of the nutrients and minerals you need, especially with all that blood-loss.”

I hc Cater is kinda squeamish. But not in the “i’m gonna pass out even at the site of fake blood” kinda way, more like the “i’m gonna hurl only if I see and SMELL real blood” kinda way.

Like it’s the iron smell that REALLY gets him. And he’ll stay conscious…he’ll just have his head in a trashcan as he tosses up breakfast.

He tries to help, he REALLY DOES but like, t just makes him feel so ill.

So if you’re prone to bloody noses, maybe…give him fair warning and turn to your friends while bleeding.

Absolutely sweetie with aftercare though!! Much like Trey, he’ll brings you snacks and stuff if you needed it.

Much better with menstrual bleeding, as he has to elder sisters, and he can’t see or smell that blood.

Me in Twisted Wonderland

I've been in Twisted Wonderland from the beginning!

I come from the northern part of the Shaftlands, the same area that Jack grew up in

It's very snowy and cold with a few mountains there

because of this, I'm a big fan of the cold and snow and the cold doesn't bother me that much

me and Jack have met before and we've hung out, but we weren't really close and didn't spend a whole lot of time together

I always liked to play in the snow and he often played with his siblings so occasionally we would play together

I'm not super athletic or sporty tho so I never went snowboarding

As for dorms, I would like to be in either Diasomnia because it's so cool

but I would be placed in Heartslabyul

I'm someone who memorizes and follows rules pretty well and I tend to be pretty strict with myself and how I do

I'm not someone who will break the Queen of Hearts rules often

and usually I aim to get pretty good grades in all my classes

because of this I would have a decent friendship with Riddle

I'm not sure if we'd be best friends, but we would have an okay friendship

Ruggie, Idia, and Silver would be my best friends

If I see Ruggie wanting food, I'd definitely give some of mine to him and he's pretty fun to talk to

I also try to help him with his errands for Leona when I can

Ruggie is like the one I can ramble on for hours with about random things going on around the school

he also has the latest gossip from around the school and I love to hear it

Idia and me get along really well

both of us play video games, watch anime, and watch horror

me and him play video games together and just lose track of time

how is it 1AM already??

honestly we could both go on for hours about video games and anime's and will likely not stop unless someone stops us

Ortho probably does just so we can sleep or something

Most likely me and Idia have had a few sleepovers because we stayed up too late playing video games and just crash

Silver and me are also pretty good friends

I tend to get anxious pretty often but Silver's presence is very calming

him just being near me would be calming

some people are pretty intimidating to me but with Silver around I don't feel as worried

Silver is very easy to talk to as well and I feel pretty comfortable around him

anytime I see him asleep, I'm finding something that I can use as a makeshift pillow

usually a jacket or sweatshirt bunched up works

I also try to help him with things he's supposed to be doing when he's sleeping

like taking notes or whatever task Lilia asked him to do

In school, my favorite subject has to be potions

I've always found that kind of thing cool and really interesting so it would be the most fun class to me

My worst subject is definitely PE

I am not athletic at all and sports really aren't my thing

Vargas definitely gets on my nerves about it all

As for clubs, I'm a part of the board games club with Idia and Azul

it's what I'm most interested in out of the options and I like board games

While Idia and Azul have opposite opinions on if they prefer strategy or luck based games, I prefer games that use both

speaking of Azul

in my mind we would be academic rivals

there wouldn't be anything that really prompts this other than the fact that he's really smart

it's a very unspoken thing and I'm not sure if he's even aware of it

It's just a need in my brain to get a grade that's equal to him in everything or above

even I have no idea why

Night Raven Kindegartern & Fath--I Mean, Lilia by whitenoface: The first is an adorable slice of life fic with the first and second year NRC students as children while the third years are their parents and it's such a wholesome read! The second is a more Silver and Lilia centric fic that focuses on various stages of Silver's upbringing with Lilia both before and at NRC. (But honestly, anything TWST-related by this author I thoroughly enjoy!)

Silver Vanrouge by thelittleprince25: this one got me good ; A; I'm always so upset that Silver doesn't use Lilia's last name in-game and that he didn't have his initials on his union jacket. I was beyond happy to find a fix-it fic for that, and it's a very cute father-son birthday moment :)

a you i didn't know by TerraXV: THIS ONE IS SUCH AN INTERESTING CONCEPT; Lilia gets reverted back into his child self by a potion and there's a marked difference in how he acts around Silver. I just love the exploration of what Lilia's past might have been like, and of course the emotional payoff at the end of the fic with Lilia confessing that happiness to him is their little family <3

Tagging good friend @greninjajeje for being a funky lovely brainy friend who made me learn more about Leona than I ever expected

Leona used to be one of my least favorite characters, half because I initially didn’t like his looks very much except for his eyes, but a part of it was because I saw my most unsavory traits in him. Fans will call Leona lazy or joke about it (myself included), but Leona is honestly more than just “lazy”. He’s unmotivated, he’s tried hard at some point in life, and he saw that it wasn’t worth it because people will always praise someone else.

It hit a sore spot in me because I’m unfortunately like that. I could try to do my best in my studies, in my hobbies and skills, heck even in my blog posts, game strategies (at least for Twst), and theory postings, but I’ll always feel like someone is better than me despite how much I hone my skills. And often, there will always be at least one person who will be praised more than me. It’s enough for me to lose the will to continue doing what I do because what’s the point if my efforts are never going to be appreciated or bear fruit? The burnout from this is so much worse than burnout that school can give you. At least burnout from school can go away after a few days. This kind of burnout can last for months, years even, because your insecurities and anxieties eat away at you. So even during those days when I disliked Leona, he’s always the easiest to write for because the words just flow out from my fingers.

Leona really is deeper than many people think, which is part of why I think he gets done dirty by fans. People always frame him as someone who’s angry, someone who’s just sleeping, someone who’s just gonna pick a fight with you for no reason, someone smug and shit. But it feels like people aren’t even touching the surface of Leona’s character. 😂 Aside from Leona’s unmotivation (and implied depression), he’s also wise. You already see this wisdom in chapter 2, in the way he gave up when he saw that his plan failed. Anyone could say he gave up too easily, but you also have to know when to give up. What are they going to do, fight Malleus and risk elimination (even though they nearly got eliminated anyway)? His wisdom is seen in chapter 6 too, example being when he surrendered to STYX while also putting Ruggie in charge of Savanaclaw because what can he do, fight magic immune robots?

Then he isn’t as mean as most NRC students. He’s known to be a good upperclassman (as stated by Epel in his Union birthday story). He helped Yuu and Grim out with Azul (granted, he got something out of it, but still). He helped Epel, Yuu, and Grim with a potion in his Lab story. And honestly? I don’t even think I’m going deep into his character just listing off these details.

Some fans also think that Leona didn’t undergo character development in chapter 6, hence why they tend to feel :// about Leona. Which I also disagree with. Leona’s already a grown man with a personality that he can’t really just Change all that much. But he has been going through development, it’s just subtle. The best example of this is in chapter 6, when Leona lectures Jamil on his arrogance. He tells Jamil to stop blaming others for his own setbacks, which mirrors the advice that Lilia gives to him back in chapter 2.

It’s these things that make me think that Leona’s potential was wasted in chapter 2. There’s so much details about him that you’ll find in personal stories, and eventually as the story progressed, he becomes an even more fleshed out character. There could have been more to explore about him, but mostly we get him whispering to himself that nothing’s going to change even if they win the tournament. It’s also why I’m shading there that he didn’t get enough screen time. I think he needed more screen time for people to understand and even sympathize with him more. It could have made his Overblot a lot more impactful.

Surprisingly, this got a bit emotional. 😅 While Leona isn’t a top 5 favorite, I appreciate him very much because he makes me think, but he also reminds me of my biggest shortcomings. He’s one of the most compelling characters Twst ever wrote, and I genuinely look forward to more content from him.

Ooh scrapbooking is actually such a smart way to use stickers, I tend to also hoard stickers so I may considering starting scrapbooking.

Autumn is always so pretty! Cliché, but I love the different color leaves and the earthy scent. (Walking hand in hand through a forest of red, orange, and yellow while leaves dance through the air with which Twst character haha).

That's okay! Follow your mood! I think it might be more enjoyable to write if you write what you actually feel like writing rather than forcing yourself.

I usually don't do too well in joint exams haha. I tend to only level up my favorites' cards so I'm not very strong. Good job on getting all As! Wishing you luck in getting S next round!

-> all of them? (♡˙︶˙♡) definitely wanna write some autumn / spooky themed things soon, and my head is still 80% Twst brainrot so a nap on a pile of leaves with Leona, hot cocoa with Kalim? Anyone?

I can honestly super recommend scrapbooking. It truly is brain on 0. You can also just enjoy sticking things and I like looking back on all my stickers since I won't throw them away (which is my main problem on my fear of using stickers. If I like one really much, I might put it on something that I will throw away). I started putting them on sketchbooks, since I definitely keep those, and now scrapbooks. It just makes sense hihi.

Culinary crucible? I think you mean culinary disaster. Good thing the ghosts are dead because Jade and his mushrooms and Lilia and whatever he puts on a plate is just a recipe for disaster, I can't blame the low scores i get in the beginning, I'd be terrified to eat too. (also super hilarious that Kalim is a judge, does Jamil want him to be poisoned?)

Am drinking LOADS. Got a big sippy cup from my roomie that's 2 litres, and i try to empty it every day. My coworkers laughed cause who the heck has such a big water bottle, but honestly, it works really well, and i don't have to refill throughout the day.

That being said, I am back at work and I am already tired. It's going to be an exciting school year, no doubt, but also a very intense one! I hope I don't lose my writing mojo or need too much sleep haha

The shine of the night’s crown has nothing on the stifling confession that rests behind his throat: unspoken and unknown. Because he’s heir, he’s king, it’s his birthright, love was never an option for him. The most he can do to honor the love that he can never have is to let you be happy with someone else. Undoubtedly, a hole the shape of you has been wrenched out from his heart, the void a reminder of a longing that no magic nor royal power could ever fathom of filling back up again.

Love is an ideal Lilia works for. A world where the fae folk and humanity can live in harmony; nature and industry, magic and might, night and day coming together without any venom in their veins or hatred broiling behind their eyes. A future like that is what Lilia has strove for for much of his life, sometimes using the blade and sometimes using the wisdom that comes with his age. He’s seen his fair share of souls and crisscrossed paths with all sorts of different people.

You’re an anomaly. You’re someone who sees his vision and wants to make it truth, as if something like peace could be achieved in the instantaneous moment that your mortal life was. Lilia can stomach any pain, but this is the one true agony he can never heal from. His body may morph and change so he can serve his liege as best as he can, but his soul remains steadfast to you. Even when you exist as nothing more than a distant memory, a lone daisy blooming amidst the battlefield, Lilia still claws at the walls and craves for your touch as if you had only left him yesterday. That is the price of love, he carves into his being, the painful reality of the sacrifice he has to make if he wants to continue marching forward with the faraway hope that someday someone won’t have to suffer in the way he is.

Silver is accustomed to a lifestyle of isolation and ostracism, to say the least. He’s the human of the fae country. Rounded ears and a mortal lifespan, oftentimes he feels like a lone star waiting to cave in on itself when time comes floating lonesomely in the midst of a rapidly evolving and expanding universe all around him. Night Raven College is a pause from that feeling. You’re human, and you’re someone who’s the same as him: isolated yet tapping into each other to find a degree of stability.

But stability is what a knight upholds, not a lifestyle for a knight himself. Duty calls, and it calls earnestly for him. You’re undoubtedly running around and exploring as you should, surrounded by those just like you, while he brandishes his shining sword for the crown that he wasn’t even supposed to be born under. What would you say to him then? Would you pity the circumstances of his birth, or would you cradle him in your arms out of empathy? Maybe you’d be indifferent or even disgusted at his chivalry, but at least you feel for him.

The Valley of Thorns is dark and strange, both home and the unknown. This place and Night Raven College are all that he’s ever known, both thorny and unapproachable in their own right. You can only soothe his pain so much when distance tears you away from him, and once your handwritten letters become more and more scarce, the distant loop of your letters and the fond signature that existed so long ago is all Silver has to console his broken heart.

You will not come to him, and he cannot come to you. He’s inextricably tied to the task of guarding his liege, and he only remains in the good graces of the fae due to his exemplary behavior. Torn between passion and tradition, Silver has no choice but to choose the only path he’s ever known, left only with earnest prayer that you’d be touched far away and visit him. But that’s a distant dream, one that he should have woken up from yesterday.

“I miss you. Every part of me misses you. If you would appear in front of me, I wouldn’t wish for anything else in this world.”

Hatred and devotion are two sides of the same coin, Sebek being the perfect example of such a concept. It takes devotion to hate, and it takes hatred to devote to one allegiance over the other. That should explain his own feelings, why he’s so repulsed by you. It’s simply because his devotion lies with the fae, who have no time for primitive humans who understand nothing outside of the world right at their nose. It’s easier to dismiss the conflict brewing in his chest as nothing more than hatred; it’s easier to ignore the elephant in the room rather than to force it out.

That would explain why your hatred for him is mutual. Even the slightest streak of green is enough to make you scowl, your hardened eyes the only mercy that ever meets his lightning yellow irises. It stabs at his chest mercilessly, but his own pride refuses to make amends with your frustration. Hatred only breeds more hatred, the only devotion the two of you hold being the devotion to see the other fall to their ruin, no matter the means or the cost.

Which is why he loves you that much more passionately. You run around his brain like you’ve enchanted him, dangling yourself like a prize right out of his reach. He’s gone far, far too far, to think that he could ever redeem himself. Where the two of you could have closed the space with a kiss, he’s filled it with spades, and in turn, you’ve returned those spades with lofty walls to protect yourself. Could he blame you? Absolutely not. But he hates you so much that he loves you, and he loves you so much that he hates you.

It scares him to think that this is all he’ll ever be to you. An ignorant, repulsive soul that makes your skin crawl with disgust. You’re his first love, the key to blooming an understanding of the world beyond his own prejudice, but he’s already pressed the mercy of your heart far too much. His hatred has bred something greater and more painful than he can handle, condemning to mourn his own foolishness and writhe in the painful revelation that the love he feels for you will only be met with the same bitterness that he had sown all over you.

Often getting in a...not so good situations, reader makes a lot of dark and not jokes to make situation at least a little easier mentally for themselves. Consider: The reader manages to get home, but the problem is that the Mirror of Darkness now reflects most of their daily life in their world. The Mirror can still act as a portal, except something seemed to be blocking passage. Which of the Dorm Leaders + Lilia + Crowley + Crewel would be the most determined to snatch reader back? Who enters their Looking Glass world first? Which ones would sabotage/cooperate with each other other?

As my favorite lawyer on YouTube frequently says, it depends, but we’re going to be assuming they are all attached to you to the same degree and you, dear reader, never had anything beyond friendship with them.

The most determined will either be Azul or Malleus. Why? Because they had nothing.

Azul was alone, striving for perfection on his own, using what he had to take more and more, and still more because it was never enough and then you came along with genuine praise despite seeing him as his worst, how could you even think he wouldn’t come after you? He’ll take everyone’s magic if it means having you again. It doesn’t really matter if you hate him, he’ll become your perfect partner so you’ll have to give in eventually. Especially if he manages to use your own mind against you.

As for Malleus, well, considering how you are his first dear friend outside of his caretaker and guards, how could he not treasure you? He covets you. You are truly one of a kind for treating him like... like... like just another person. Not one of the strongest mages in Twisted Wonderland nor a crown prince, he’s just Malleus to you. With all the power at his fingertips, surely there is nothing that can stand in his way to reach you again.

While Azul and Malleus are probably tied for first, extremely close seconds are Riddle, Vil, and Kalim. They are very much a group with the ideology that if there’s a will, there’s a way. They just don’t have the same... desperation that Azul and Malleus have.

Well, actually, in Kalim’s case, you could say he’s a little ahead of the others in the second place pack. He’s not used to being denied anything. The fact that you’re in another world isn’t going to really stop him. It’s not exactly right of him, but if he throws enough money at a problem, then he’ll surely get his way eventually.

While the rules dictate every part of Riddle's life, he's learned that sometimes, a little flexibility helps. And well, if worlds aren't meant to be traveled, then surely the mirror wouldn't be showing you still. Clearly, it's an indication that the rules need to be updated here.

To Vil, hard work is all he needs and it's not like he has to find you. He just has to remove whatever's blocking his path to you and that is much more manageable than changing people's view of him as a villain. It's something he can track the progress of easily. Maybe it'll take him years, but slow and steady will produce results eventually.

It's not that this last group loves you less or desire you any less than the others, but Leona, Lilia, and Professor Crewel are more accepting of the fact that they might not be able to reach you. That doesn't mean they won't try. But they've also accepted the possibility that they might not get you.

Leona's gotten used to not getting what he wants. But there is a possibility that he could get you back in his arms. Or he could go to your world. He's not too picky. All he has to do is destroy a pesky blockage.

Compared to Malleus who he's probably helping, Lilia is quite calm. Finding the entire situation more entertaining than anything else as he takes care of Malleus while he finds a way to get you back. Or make a way. Lilia knows he doesn't need to do anything with Malleus so desperate to hold you again.

It's not like Professor Crewel doesn't want to see his favorite puppy again. But as an adult, he's had people come in and out of his life so he's accepting of the fact that you've left. That doesn't mean he won't make a few attempts to reach you.

The thing with Idia is... he doesn't have much faith in your desire to be around him again. After all, you went home. He would hate to force you to leave it. But he does miss you. He'll try because everyone else is, but he honestly might sabotage them all instead.

Hi there! 👋 Nice to see our fandom growing, more writers joining and trying their pens out with twst boy~ I'm here to wish you a nice day and leave a request, if I may. How would Epel, Malleus, Trey and Rook react to their s/o being well versed in a sword fighting? Seeing her(or them, I don't mind) in an act, maybe even protecting the boys? The s/o haven't disclosed it to them before and took a stance only because she had no other choice. Thank you very much💓

Before we begin, I apologize if I had written Epel a bit ‘off’, for lack of a better word. I have not played through Pomefiore’s chapter thoroughly let alone get to the important bits of said chapter (I’m only on 5-9..)

If I did mischaracterize Epel, please inform me! I will try to perfect how I write him as soon as possible.

Now, onto the headcanons.

Epel Felmier

Epel is astounded to see you swordfight. Perhaps his amazement is a bit inappropriate considering the context being that you were fighting off a few Savanaclaw boys for teasing and mocking Epel about the rumors that he wanted to join the Savanaclaw dormitory—but they did it right in front of your face. Saying how “a pretty boy soft as he is could never join Savanaclaw!” and continued.

You didn’t find violence necessary in the situation, but you weren’t opposed against it either. So when the Savanaclaw members began taunting both you and Epel, you quickly drew your sword and began fighting them, all while Epel walked in at the perfect moment and hid behind a wall and watched you.

The beastmen tucked their tails between their legs and ran off soon after you had your sword pointed to them on the ground. Once they were gone, Epel quietly walked out of his hiding spot and asked if you were okay, to which you hesitantly replied with a “yes”.

Quickly after, Epel began to somewhat gush about your sword fighting abilities and how great you were. Yet, he’s also curious about why you never told him about your skill in such. You explain to him that you never thought of a reason to why you should inform anyone of it, but you were also a bit afraid that he might find your talent in it ‘weird’.

He shoots your suspicions as completely incorrect. You were amazing out there! Epel has never seen sword fighting up-close and done so well! It makes him stagger through his words. He also states that you don’t need to hide anything from him and that he’ll accept you whole as a person and as a lover. The reason why he even fell in love with you was because of how free-willed you are, you know?

“Well, I think your sword fighting is great, (Y/N). I don’t think it matters what other people see you as, especially the negative ones—you’re great and that’s all there is to it!”

Malleus Draconia

Malleus first saw you sword fighting a handful of the Savanaclaw boys, or, well—it looked more like you were deflecting and inflicting minor wounds on the beastmen until they eventually ran off out of cowardice.

The fae was completely stunned. He had never known you were so skilled in sword fighting, and you fight with such gracefulness and elegance, too! The only other time he had seen sword fighting up close was when he and Lilia trained Silver as Malleus’ knight. Even so, his fighting style was merely that of a normal knight’s—but you, you looked like you were dancing with the sword.

When he snaps out of his amazement, he quickly comes out of the shadows to your aid and checks if you have any wounds. Humans are very fragile, after all. You reassure him that you’re fine and he eventually brings up your talent in swordsmanship, to which you bashfully deny ever being skilled in such a thing.

Malleus can obviously see through your lies, and after a while, you admit that you do. You kept it a secret because you were afraid that he might see you as improper or ‘strange’ and the only reason you even fought those Savanaclaw boys were because they were ridiculing your beloved fae.

He’s visibly surprised by the notion. Fighting...for him? Of course, he has literal knights who fight for him, but he always considered it as the two merely doing their jobs. You, on the other hand; you didn’t need to do such a thing for him, yet still, you did it anyway. He’s touched, to say the least. Afterwards, he comforts you regarding your talent and says to not be shameful of it, for it is a talent one could only look up to and that he’s always welcome to talk about anything.

“You’re not required to put yourself in dangerous situations, Child of Man. Trust that I can fight my own battles, so please, do not burden yourself with mine. Though I must say...you did well.”

Trey Clover

‘Surprised’ would be a bit of an understatement to describe what Trey felt when he saw you sword fighting with a fellow Heartslabyul member. Just a little bit.

The way you made your sword swings seem effortless renders him speechless. Just when did you learn to swordfight? And how will Riddle react when he sees you, battling a Heartslabyul member, with a sword!? The consequences may be severe… (and even so, when did Heartslabyul C-kun learn to swordfight!?)

Trey quickly steps in and stops the duel between you and the other dorm member. Heartslabyul C-kun leaves with a scoff while small wounds decorate his otherwise clean skin. Meanwhile, you seemed completely fine. There were only a few cuts from C-kun’s sword but it wasn’t at all serious. Still, Trey treats your wounds so they don’t get infected.

The entire time, Trey is almost quiet as he tends to your wounds until he releases a sigh of defeat, for lack of a better word. He tells you that fighting by yourself isn’t safe, you know? That would just end up in both you and him getting your heads chopped off by Riddle (thank goodness he brought you out of the scene of the crime).

You explain to him that the only reason you had done it was because C-kun recently found out about your talent in sword fighting and wouldn’t stop bugging you until you agreed to duel with him, knowing it was against the rules, so you denied his every demand. However, he brought Trey into the story by mocking him and that was the last straw.

Quite honestly, Trey doesn’t know how to feel about it. On one hand, he’s afraid and a bit worried for you and what could have happened. And on the other...he’s grateful and rather enamoured about the fact that you tried to defend him. Still, he shows appreciation for what you did in his name but reminds you to be careful next time.

“Don’t run off fighting other people, okay? I really appreciate what you did for me but I don’t want you getting hurt. Plus, I can’t have my favorite cupcake get in trouble with Riddle!”

Rook Hunt

Saw you sword fighting another Pomefiore member, but it didn’t look intense if at all. From afar, it did look like you and Pomefiore B-kun were simply practice-duelling—and from afar, it stayed as such. Rook continued to watch you from the bushes with a keen eye and a smile tugging on his face.

However, B-kun just had to do it. During your duel, he began taunting you about Rook, your Hunter of Love. It started small; calling him a weirdo and other nicknames Rook had likely grown accustomed to. But B-kun just went on and on, his small taunts grew to harsh insults, and you weren’t having any of it.

You swiftly defeat B-kun in the duel. His sword flying out of his hands and landing on soft grass, piercing the surface. You quickly tell him to scram and he leaves without a word, not even to retrieve his sword.

You let out a sigh before turning to the bushes, where you know Rook is. You call out his name and after a few rustles from the bushes, he walks out with a large smile on his face and claps for your performance, stating that it was marvelous! ....However, this does spark curiosity in him—curiosity on why you never informed him of your talent in the art of sword fighting.

You say that you never found the reason to tell him of it, though you weren’t exactly ashamed, it was just what it was also because you knew Rook wouldn’t stop pestering you about it once he found out that you were skilled in sword fighting.

Non, non! This is wonderful news to him! He’s happy to know that you’re confident in something you’re skilled in and he would be all the more glad if you wanted to speak to him about sword fighting, should you ever wish to do so.

“Your swordsmanship is fantastique, mon cherie! Though, I must ask…,” The self-proclaimed hunter steps towards C-kun’s sword and picks it up. “May I request a few sword fighting lessons from you?”
