your tags here…yk this is something i’ve been thinking about as well, how louis’ songs often seem to be like they’re written from female perspective and i’ve always found it really interesting also louis talked about something similar as well…it’s probably down to him being around women all his life but also it truly does seem like some of his songs at least are written about a guy and add to it the fact some his songs having queer themes as well…makes you think huh ✍🏻

but yeah totally! and I care to make the distinction here that when I say sometimes his lyrics feel like they're written by a woman I mean that bc generally and stereotypically we're used to hearing this kind of feelings/perspective from women, in particular women writing about men, not bc there's an inherent "womanly" or "mainly" way to write, obviously there aren't and probably in the future the 2 will mix more thanks to more musicians like louis but yeah if u look at the popular songs we've always listened to its much more common to find the themes of not being loved enough, begging for someone's love, saying that for long everything u did was for the other person, losing yourself in a toxic relationship, only becoming who you are now after that person left you (ex: "the day you left me was just my beginning" etc) have usually been brought on by women more than by men. also the way he talks about the flaws of the other person (they don't want to share their feelings with him, they try to act like they never feel any pain, they get lost in their pride and become ugly and unkind) are usually things we associate more with men + he differs from most straight male musicians bc he never sexualizes women in any part of his art

obviously nothing is for certain and I'm not trying to prove anything, the only thing that this proves is that louis is a very interesting and innovative songwriter that doesn't follow the usual stereotypes assigned to his gender and I'm sure that's also why he's able to connect with so many women (also could be one of the reasons why he's not taken very seriously in the indie Boys scenes ?? too soft? idk)

Just remembered that one time in the IWTV podcast where a guessed/host (can’t remember) said that they think Louis and Armands relationship is much healthier and that Armand is very good for Louis, and cringed.

Idk man, I don’t want to sound like one of those I the fandom that is super butthurt over new fans that don’t know about their real relationship or Armand, or why Claudia isn’t here anymore. It doesn’t even have anything to do with me being jealous of them because I am mainly a Loustat/Armandaniel shipper. That’s not it! I definitely share that depression and the expression of it with Louis, I tend to be more of a moping/disassociate depressive compared to Lestat's quick-fire anger. One trait that both Louis and Lestat have is that appreciation for the beautiful, so much so it gives us a will to live. The reason I associate more with Louis's version is that Lestat says nature and natural beauty scares him and makes him feel purposeless, he prefers human created things. I feel just the opposite, or at least I appreciate nature the same as art. And Louis does have more monologues and just descriptions of natural beauty (him missing the blue sea for example) that make me feel closer to him. I love Lestat's narration but I def relate in more broad strokes more to Louis's narration in IWTV.

I also struggled with seeing myself and accepting my sexuality, not just same-gender attraction and finally admitting to myself despite years of basically knowing I was bi, just sex and sexuality in general. An example of that is literally on my last ask. 😅 I most of this is from being Raised CatholicTM, another thing I share with Louis. (TMI but when I first started m*sturbating I was def googling if it was a sin and convinced myself it was okay as long as I didn't come). A lot of Louis's struggle to accept himself as a vampire in IWTV can be read as a metaphor for accepting one's sexuality, which is def how I read it. And I'm 100% full of contradictions when it comes to that and other things. For example I was a part of a Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast for 3 years (and hopefully in the future) where I would dress and dance as a slut, yet it would make me very uncomfortable if others touched me. I both chose/accept "the dark curse" yet impose my own rules and limitations.

There are other little superficial ones, my main hobby is reading like Louis, but the two above are the main ones that I see myself in Louis.

Superficially I also am like Gabrielle for the superficial reason I also really like nature, in undergrad I was a bio major and took a lot of animal and ecology classes. I would love to disappear into a jungle and wear khaki all the time. 😂 But I'm not cold and cool enough to be Gabs kin and am too comfortable in my gender.

Several new documentaries marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee - one focusing on her working life, a series in which each episode focuses on a particular person or section of the family and how they help her, and a more personal one where we see the family come together to pay tribute to her with more unseen footage and lovely anecdotes MAKE IT HAPPEN

In general, more joint, in-person appearances at events that we haven’t been able to see due to Covid (ie Christmas, Easter, Trooping, Ascot, Services of Thanksgiving, etc.). I think it would be wise to give that little bit more exposure next year since we haven’t seen them very much at all, and the fact that it’s the Platinum Jubilee as well

Andrew in a cell at best, cast out of the family with everything removed at least. Even better if Fergie also ends up in a cell, and if they let either one of them near the Jubilee celebrations I swear to CHRIST

Next year’s Christmas card to be a big family photo with everyone and for it to land swiftly on the Internet in HD 😌

1. i've been in the fandom since about 2011ish (nobody asked but i'm gonna tell u my origin story hehe. okay so imagine 10 y/o me just sitting at my desk in grade 4 all alone zoning out during lunch. and from behind me there's this group of like "popular girls" who are singing this song very loudly and everyone seems to know the lyrics and it's catchy as fuck. and so i ask one of them what the name of the song was. and she was like 'what makes you beautiful by one direction'. little did i know my life would never EVER be the same again. so i made my way home and rushed to my dad's office. he had a home office back then. and logged onto the computer. typed in 'www.youtube.com' and then typed the whole ass song name with the band's name. listened to it. GOT OBSESSED. went down A FUCKING ENDLESS RABBIT HOLE of xfactor videos. watched the whole journey and the interviews etc. FELL HEAD OVER HEELS FOR LOUIS TOMLINSON IN PURE BABY LESBIAN FASHION. only to realize a couple of months later that girlie was in love with Curly. and then fell in love with him too. and i haven't been the same since)

2. i love eating raw tomatoes😂 (i feel like sb is gonna come at me for this) when i was younger my mother used to cut it up into a flower and sprinkle pink salt (it's kaala namak in hindi but IT'S PINK) but yeah still love it as a snack when i get hungry😌 it's healthyyyyyyy

he looks so happy in the clips from yesterday's show! all clean shaven and glowing😚

i know I'm being silly, but i feel relieved that i wasn't there to watch the show live because i would have lost my shit with all the glitchy and uncertain livestreams just like all the other fans.

the igtv was all that i needed! it is so wholesome!🥺 I'm so glad that louis and his band enjoy the tour and get along so well. even the crew has so much fun travelling all over the world with him. louis definitely looks like a fun person to be around. the crew treat him just like he deserves to be treated- like a princess💕💕

Ah! Bowling is so fun. It used to be one of the main spots to hang out back in high school, and I had one of my first real dates there haha. I haven’t gone in soooo long. Perhaps you have urged me to go and bowl sometime soon. All I know is that I stand by the fact that the bowling alley has the best cheese sticks and chili cheese fries I’ve ever had. No arguments.

Christmas cookies!! I need to bake some, myself. I usually like the pillsbury sugar cookies with the prints on them, but it seems like they’re all out everywhere close to me. But, I do want to bake a strawberry cake and decorate it very christmas-like. I might do that tomorrow ✨
