At this point I trust the crew of ofmd with my life and i know season 2 is gonna be good but I have one fear and I'm not joking, I am terrified of them making stede more masculine because he becomes more badass and confident. I know it's something a lot of fans actually wish, the bearded muscular stede, but imagining it could happen makes me profoundly sad. I absolutely love frilly shirts cute nightgowns little shoes with bows stede. I love the fact that he loves clothes and he's kind of feminine, and I love the fact that he can still be badass. He was wearing a frilly nightgown and pink robe at his hottest, most badass moment when he told jack to get off of his ship. It's probably kind of stupid to be worried like this for something that may seem so insignificant, but I love Stede the way he looks in S1, and I'm obsessed with clothes and fashion and one of the many reasons why I've hyperfixated for so long on this show is the costumes, and especially stede's costumes. Anyway that's it I needed to get it out of my brain bye

i’ve said it before and i feel the need to say it again, just because someone likes debbie does not mean they support rape. what debbie did in 5x03 has layers to it, and obviously i don’t defend it but i don’t hate her for it either being as she was 14 and he was 21 and had been grooming her. you shouldn’t just assume people support rape or even accuse people of being rapists, especially if that person, aka me, has been a victim of sexual assualt (on several occasions). idk. just a thought!

Wonder what its like to be an actor with a modest amount of roles under your belt, not very well known outside of maybe theater. And then you get a role in some random little pirate show And BAM teenagers online start referring to you as their little meow meow, their scrunkly little blorbo, their manwhore malewife

Personally I'm really happy with the decision to introduce original human villains to the SCU.
I understand a lot of people don't like it when they deviate from game stuff, but the series is already infamous for having almost no reocurring villains besides Eggman. And this is more than just an adaptation, it's a proper pillar of the Sonic franchise that can tell it's own stories and introduce its own characters.

The reaction to FCG casting turn undead and it affecting Laudna is wild to me. They were on an island surrounded by undead, it would have been absurd for him to not cast it.
The discourse has also made me realize that a lot of people watch the show for very different reasons than me. I love interparty conflict. Some of my favorite moments from every campaign has been when an argument or fight breaks out between the characters. The cast is so good at embracing the tension and staying true to their character's stance even if they're wrong or escalating the situation and I eat it up every time. These characters can't grow without conflict and, especially in campaign 3, will walk on eggshells around each other unless everyone knows how the party feels about something.
It seems like a lot of people only watch the show for their favorite characters or for the romance (which to clear is completely fine. I'm not saying that people are enjoying the show wrong or that I'm watching it the right way). The cast have said before that they also love conflict and have made it clear that they will stay true to their character in tense moments. Some fans have a tendency to purposefully misinterpret actions and motivations or disregard any trauma that a character has experienced that might explain their behavior. Laudna is allowed to hate the gods and has every reason to, but the first decision FCG ever made for themself was to follow the Changebringer. It makes perfect sense that hearing her, and some other characters to a lesser extent, talk negatively about the Changebringer is frustrating after they've been constantly FCG that he needs to make choices for himself. That doesn't mean that FCG is right or the Laudna is wrong, but their actions and beliefs make sense.
It's also wild how no one is talking about how Fearne almost didn't heal FCG because of turn undead. There's been a lot of talk about how pettiness is her love language but putting your friend's life at risk because he made Laudna run into ocean is more than petty. She ultimately healed them so it's not a huge deal but she established that she values Laudna more than FCG.
I hope they talk about the fight next episode so everyone is on the same page about turn undead and what's going to happen next time they encounter undead.

The thing that bothers me about fanon characterization of Mu Qing as super insecure about his talent and abilities is that it erases what is, imo, one of the best things about him—the fact that he was a servant and still thought “I’m just as good—maybe even better than—the Crown Prince” and proceeded to prove it (and I think that’s exactly why Xie Lian liked him, because he also believes that people are good and talented regardless of their station or social class and being friends with Mu Qing reinforces that belief for him)
And to repeat my tags from another post: it’s not that he doesn’t have insecurities, but they’re not about his abilities, because he’s completely confident in them and deserves to be. He’s just insecure about how other people view him, which is something he can’t really control (except through reprimanding people in their dreams, but that doesn’t work on his fellow gods)
And in summary this is all a lot more interesting to me than another generic “I’ll never be good enough 🥺” characterization

most of jesson's roleplays are fueled by PLAGIARISM and i rarely see anybody acknowledge that. they copy ideas from other, popular works of fiction and use them to make their own stories more interesting. and they never give credit lol.

I'd love to see more designs of qFit with explosions scars, specifically his upper body. While he'd have scars from things as simple as the terrain (for instance I personally headcanon him with scarring on his chin from tripping and falling) the main form of combat in 2b2t is end crystals. Which are extremely powerful and dangerous explosives.
The tactic with end crystals is to protect and block your lower body when the explosion goes off, as you'll take minimal damage. That is a minecraft mechanic, but an in universe explanation could be the explosion of the crystals are mainly horizontal in force? Bound to take out your legs on even ground but less likely for shrapnel or heat to do heavy damage to the upper body (still very risky and it's best to cover your whole body, but not necessarily an instant death sentence)
However you interpret the crystals though, Fit would probably have some intense scarring from them. Whether they be from his own crystals or from others.

i love how its a common trope to give noah friends (aside from izzy, eva and owen), I've seen him with lindsay, courtney, gwen, tyler, harold, leshawna, cody, duncan, heather and more.
i love how its also a common trope to make chris and cheff like. eccentric uncles or father figures, expanding on something that the show introduced and did nothing with, its great honestly.
i also love how noah being a dad is also a common trope for him, and how he has so. many. children. idk. he's just so. dad shaped to me. yknow

For people who aren't aware: Most of those gorgeous wrestling photos from Japanese wrestling promotions that you see reposted on tumblr and elsewhere were taken by fans. They look like professional photos, because the fan photographers are just that skilled. But they are fan photos, taken by wrestling fans just like you.
Most of those fan photographers don't want people taking their photos and reposting them elsewhere without permission.
Fan photographers will generally clarify this in their profiles. They often even go out of their way to write this information in English too. But even if they don't, you can run their profiles through machine translate and check, and if you're still not sure, you should ask the photographer for permission directly before reposting their work.
I've seen fan photographers lock their accounts, stop posting new photos online entirely, and delete their photo archives due to rampant reposting. If you enjoy the work of wrestling fan photographers, you should respect their wishes regarding that work.
