Remember Me? Sp
Here is a sneak peek for all of my lovely readers that have been waiting for the part 4, I have been busy with studies and Eris week, so sorry for the delay ☺️
Fin gasped, staring wide eyed at the display of magic. "How did you do that?!"
"It's my magic, young one."
"Really?" Fin stared at the Autumn Court's High Lord in wonder.
"Really." Eris smiled.
"What else can you do?
"Eris." She regarded him coldly. "I don't know what you want with me or my son. I don't know why you are so interested in our lives. But I do know that I will not be tolerating your bullshit until you give me a good reason not to gut you like a fish. You hear me?"
He nodded, opening his mouth. She didn't give him a chance.
"Good. Now get out. And don't show your face until you have a good reason."

9, 12 and 20 for the fanfic ask game?
9. Biggest pet peeve while writing?
A pet peeve of my own writing? Reading a first draft, fleshing out a paragraph, only to realize that specific idea was already developped 2 paragraphs below. And now I have to decide which one is better written, which is a nightmare.
But if we extend to reading, one of my biggest pet peeves when I read fanfics is the overuse of "the younger man" vs. "the older man". Who came up with that?! I've never seen it in any piece of literature. And while Peter is, indeed, older than Neal, he's not old enough to be refered to as "the older man". And even though one could argue that Alejandro de la Vega is old enough, again, who speaks like that?! For god sake, please just refer to the characters by their names. That's what names are for.
12. First ever fic written?
A White Collar Peter-centric H/C fic with an OC named Lily that is totally absolutely not a self-insert. The fic is a bit awkward and really naive, but we all gotta start somewhere, don't we?
thank you for the asks! :-)

Please, for the love of god, please don’t be this person. No matter how long it’s been since an update, no matter how many unfinished stories are sitting on their account, no matter what - do not be this person.
Not only is it insanely rude, but you also do more damage than you think be being such a self-entitled ass about something someone created for free and for fun. “This author” can see what you say.
RIP decency indeed.

DONT BE AFRAID TO COMMENT ON OLD FICS DONT BE AFRAID TO COMMENT ON FICS IN A FANDOM THE AUTHOR MAY NO LONGER BE ACTIVE IN. IF THE STORY IS STILL UP LET THEM KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS IT MIGHT JUST BE THE REMINDER THAT MAKES THEIR DAY.
SINCERELY SOMEONE WHO JUST GOT A REPLY THAT MADE ME WANNA MAKE THIS POST

Reblog and put your rare pair in the tags/comments! I want to see the depths people will go to create, for the most random two characters in the most obscure media.

fics that are like 500 to 1200 words or so often have a particular kind of energy to me - like the author sat bolt upright in bed, struck by the most brilliant inspiration of their entire lives, and then typed as fast as their fingers would allow them to in order to capture it all before it left.
oneshots that are just a straight, clear shot from the brain to the page with no real filter in between? that's good stuff right there.

Fic Title and Q meme:
It was challenging to pick just one of your stories, but let's go with "Alternate Reality"
4) Your favorite line of dialogue
5) What was the hardest part to write?
11) What do you like best about it?
For this fic here: Alternate Reality (White Collar). Major spoilers for the finale episode.
So this one was a bit of an experiment, as the original idea was to have the whole thing be an alternate ending dreamt by Peter. So since it's his subconscious talking, some elements of the actual events appear in this new version.
So, 4. I'm quite happy with the way canon dialogues/lines fit in the new version, sometimes with a new meaning (like the doctor's "would you like to see him, now?"). Also, I'm glad Peter got to say an happier "you're free."
5. The last paragraph. Even though it was the initial idea and despite the fact that I'm a sucker for angst, I wasn't sure how it would be received, after such a clear happy ending. So, I did hesitate to include it.
11. All of that. The idea that Peter finds comfort in building himself a happy ending, even if only in his dreams. And the fact that it blends well with elements of the canon ending.
Thank you for the ask :) Those make me re-read stories I haven't thought about in years!

people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333

Nothing will dispell the "the curtains were just blue" myth faster than writing something yourself, because the amount of pretentious symbolism i am putting in my silly little fanfics is ridiculous. I mean SO much with these words, literally every single one of them. This fic has twenty five typos and zero correct uses of punctuation but if there's curtains you bet your ass I put thought into what colour they were.
