as someone who just recently got into gif creating for 911 but has no followers (well technically 10 followers), is there a good way to get more people to see my stuff? are there tags i should be using? i normally just tag 911edit, chararacternameedit, etc. i've had a couple sets i was lucky enough to have a higher-follower-count blog reblog which got me a bunch of traffic, but otherwise my other sets get crickets. (and yes i know that could also be because they're crap lol)

to be honest, getting notes on sets depends a lot on luck and the number of followers you have; (and not to sound all doom and gloom) and it's especially hard in this fandom. but i can give you some tips that i used while starting out!
if you follow any gifmakers in the fandom, check out all their blogs and see if they track any tags. for example, i track #userdahlias, and most gifmakers track tags like that! we're more likely to check the tags we track than the edit tags; so this is a good way to get your content some visibility. just make sure you're following whoever you decide to track, because it's generally considered bad manners to tag someone you don't even follow.
you can also tag source blogs: daily118, 911verse, 911women, eddiediazdaily, evanbuckleydaily, dailybuddie and so on are some of the fandom specific source blogs you can tag! aside from these: filmtvcentral, usertelevision, cinemapix, chewieblog and so on are some of the general source blogs that people usually tag (i, personally, don't; but you can see if it suits you).
speaking out of personal experience, i recommend dropping the characternameedit tag (unless you're using it for organizational purposes). people very rarely check those tags; and since tumblr only allows you visibility on your first 20 tags, it's better to not waste those! i recommend: 911edit, 911 fox, your organizational tag and all the users and source blogs you want to tag. anything beyond 20 tags won't show up in searches.
also, make sure you post at the right time! for me, that's anywhere after 6 PM IST, which should be somewhere around 8 AM US time. if you post while all the americans are asleep, your content is likely to flop lol.

Ok but who told Bruce that Jason was dead. Like Batman already knew but who had to tell Bruce?
I think poetically The Commissioner telling him is perfectly heartbreaking. Like, he’s there in the aftermath of B’s parents dieing and then he tells him his kid is dead.
And then when Steph dies, like I’m sure the people of Gotham saw Steph with the Wayne’s and just figured she was adopted already, so when her body is officially announced dead, like the cops get told and everything after the gang war is settled. Gordon has to drive up to Wayne manor again and Bruce has been holding back his tears for her, gang war and all, since she died so when Gordon walks up he just knows he can finally let go.
So the Commissioner gets a replay of what happened with Jason.
Bruce opens the door asks what he’s doing all the way out here and then after a moment of eye contact his face falls he crashes to the ground sobbing, finally. Gordon gathers him up and holds him just like when he was a kid. Alfred comes out. Only after making Gordon say that his grandchild is dead does he allows his stoic demeanor to fall, alongside his tears.
I imagine that the rest of the family is there, as well as the league, on both occasions. Mourning these brave kids who died for the world.

I’m just imagining Bruce being in the middle of lecturing the bat-fam and associates while Steph is drinking a Capri-sun (pacific cooler is the best IMO) and she gets to the bottom and that noise is made.

Ok but imagine Eddie says something confessional like “I can’t believe I’m in Love with you” in Spanish at Buck and all Buck says is “What?” And Eddie just brushes it off and is all ”Just my shopping list. Sorry.” Then the bell rings and they get bombarded with calls. At the end of the day Buck goes over to Eddie’s place and says “I love you too”.
I just think it isn’t discussed enough that Buck tended bar in Peru where the official language is Spanish.

Chrismas AU: Buck and Eddie take Christopher on a roadtrip and vacation in Lake Tahoe.❄️
Ok a little explanation before headcanons-I posted this edit last year on a 911 Xmas blog,which was a huge mistake apparently because at some point that blog (sideblog really) got deleted by owner and so all the fanart.Which pretty much sucked because I loved this edit and there was a nice headcanon to go with it.A year ago I couldn’t imagine Eddie leaving the 118 of course,so in this hc Eddie is going nowhere but on vacation with his son and bff:
Buck and Eddie miraculously have a week off for the holidays and they decide to surprise Chris and take him to see real snow on Christmas.They are taking Eddie’s truck and going on a roadtrip,staying a few days in a very nice hotel and having some fun activities planned-what they didn’t planned is that everyone around them think they are married and have the loveliest little family.Buck and Eddie agree to play along and pretend to be a couple for a few days because that is def easier than explain every time that they are not together,how and why. But they are also pining hard and are well aware that something is happening between them and both were hoping that this vacation will finally help them figure it out. Guess what happens next? Pretending to be married and in love does push all the right buttons and they actually talk! Feelings are revealed, kisses exchanged and everyone is happy! The end.
