Yesterday, while I had no wi-fi at home, I FINALLY finished Lungbarrow. It's just... too much. I love it! I just have too many thoughts and I should've written them all down. But I got too excited to come here and say that I had finished it. So while I'm too tired to write anything coherent here are some of my thoughts in random order:

I love that they brought together all my favorite girls - aka Romana, Leela and Ace -, it's like the author sensed that one day I'd read it and decided he liked me so he gave me all the fan service I needed. I wasn't even born at the time though, I think.

PREGNANT LEELA!!!!!! Now I'm so sad at how her relationship with Andred turned out in Gallifrey because we kind of had an idea of a happier life for her. At the same time, I love that everyone knew, especially Romana, and that she decided that the Doctor should be the first to know. I wonder if there are any baby fics out there because I really REALLY wanna read about the Doctor being the godfather/Romana being a godmother...

While I was finished reading I realized that the little boy that was on a lecture at the beginning of the book was little Theta and my heart is so warm oh my god. My Academy Era feelings uwu

The Doctor's family is the worst MY GOD. Fucking horrible people. I love Innocet though she's the best.

I didn't really understand things at first but I love how it turned out to be some kind of Agatha Christie murder mistery/family drama.

Susan was living ON THE STREETS?? And the Doctor completely forgot about her??? Now I don't recall how he forgot he had a grandchild but I felt so bad for her lol

So... the book kind of implies that Susan isn't really blood-related to the Doctor? Since she was the last born-child before the Pythias' curse?

Also how come does the Doctor have a belly button. Was the author nodding at the fact that he could be half human - as the 8th Doctor's movie said?

Chibbs definitively took some aspects of the book to create the Timeless Child arc didn't he? Lol

The way Romana talks about Benny.......... gay thoughts

The entire book got me so drunk on Gallifrey lore I can't stop thinking about it

There's a scene where Leela seductively slides down Andred's table looking into his eyes and says "I am in charge", to which Andred replies, "Yes, please". Man I just KNOW she tops him. I KNOW

Doctor: "If it's the Master's remains, then I should be the one to fetch them." THOSCHEI CRUMBS!!!!!!!
