every once in a while I think about her and astarion during the game events, especially early act 3, when they are still unsure about their relationship, but even with all that uncertainty, there's this gentle warm feeling shared between them

and there's an odd sense of innocence there, they're almost like two teenagers falling in love. stumbling through their feelings, haunted by certain fears and anxieties. of fucking it all up. of letting each other down. but above all, of not being enough.

they're not sleeping together at that point, of course, but instead they talk. they find a quiet spot somewhere on the outskirts of their camp and just chat. they go over the events of the day, they try to guess what happens next. they talk a little bit about themselves, get to know each other on a deeper level.

and that's how, I think, they end up falling deeper and deeper for each other. through the endless conversations, the somewhat awkward, shy touch.

Sera isn't grumpy so much as she is disinterested and dismissive. She heads to work without bothering to make small talk besides a basic "Hello." if she passes you by. Not the worst outcome, really, if silence doesn't bother you.

So I've been cooking up some alternate outfit ideas for my Lmk sona and this is what they'd look like if they were with the Demon Bull Family! The idea is basically they'd be something of a court musician but it's mainly just a title.

I don't have a concrete story but the initial idea was that cas was friends with swk in the brotherhood days and stuck with dbk after everyone else got sealed away and the whole consumption incident went down since she had nowhere else to go (and conveniently was the only lady around that he could ask for relationship advice when courting Iron Fan). They didn't expect Cas to live this long, only really expecting to have her around through her natural lifespan but they noticed she wasn't aging so now she gets to be their babysitter for date nights! Through the years she's been something of an aunt/sister figure and has become fiercely loyal to the family despite having no desire to take over the world. Redson built her electric bass and the armor she wears over her gems, the Bass has 2 extra buttons on it- the fire button spews fire out of the pipes and the Bull button unsheathes her sword from the neck of the instrument since she can't exactly walk around with a sword on her hip so easy these days. She travels with a heavy metal band across the continent- i like to imagine her intro episode has the crew excited about a big band coming to the city and while they wait they run into redson and annoy him cause he's bragging about getting exclusive vip passes to the show. The crew would expect someone mean from the music and the from the rest of the family but Cas is super welcoming and nice when the crew sneak backstage to bother redson some more XD

Luquier had thought after their last encounter that night she’d never see this guy again, let alone so far away from the palace. Though, she should have predicted the possibility considering the beast she had tamed by pure accident. The fact it happened at all was still surprising to the young vampire assassin. In all her years she’s never seen a High Beast abandon their master, especially when they were facing down an enemy.

Then again, this noble idiot wasn’t much of a master, was he? That much was evident by the pathetic tone lacing his words. He might be trying to act tough, but she could see it in this wine-red eyes of his that he was upset beyond belief she stole his dear canine away. Serves him right for what he put her through that night. The fact he’s not a dead corpse right now was a blessing Luquier was giving him considering he wasn’t her target at the moment. No need to waste her energy when no payment was to be delivered after.

Besides, she’s sure he’ll be up for bounty again eventually. It seems like with all the trouble he causes and gets into, he’s a walking target for assassins and mercenaries. Noble vampires had no use for weaklings among their ranks. In fact, she’s heard a rumor the only reason the current prince of the vampires was still alive was because of his rare royal blood. Guess he’ll be an easy target if some vampire or human wants to stage a coup of some kind, something Luquier suspects will be the case at some point in the future.

Vampires...Humans...They all just loved getting into fights with each other for power. And while she has a preference towards the idea of the humans winning, regardless of which side wins she is sure she’ll benefit from it. With both sides hating each other, she’ll always have clientele, after all. As long as she had that, she'll continue to further her own position in the world. That was all that really mattered, anyway.

“Is that so? Well, I guess you won’t be needing your precious beast back, will you Lord Idiot?” The assassin smirks, petting the beast she had learned was called Fullbau’s head. She was enjoying seeing this idiot squirm. It was almost as satisfying as beating him to a pulp.

Out of curiosity, since Jane Hind changes her hair color all the time, what color do you think she has currently in TRT?

So in TRT she's cycled through a couple colors, yeah. Hair changes are one of the easiest ways to make yourself look 'different' to the average person. Most of the time she moves through various shades of brown, from almost black, to reddish brown, to a very light brown - she leans towards these colors because brown is the most common color in the United States, and therefore the least likely to stand out! Right now I'd see her as having a very VERY dark, almost-black brown, because she's nervous about standing out as White Coat creeps ever closer. Though I don't mind anyone who has her with black or red or blonde, I've seen some badass fanart of her with all sorts of hair colors. And in truth, in someplace like NYC, she's relatively safe dying her hair whatver color she wants/sticking with her natural color, since NYC's so diverse.

the ranger had another stupid idea

#okay so we had to avoid a certain order of knights at all costs bc they consider him an heretic #wizard ran into them while ranger was hidden nearby. said they could accompany her back to the village bc she got lost (was spying) #she was in NO DANGER IN THE SLIGHTEST she was gonna go to the village and then come back once the knights left #ranger decided to throw a fog cloud and start attacking the knights for like no reason like wizard would have gone to the village- #-and come back real quick no problem #the heretic ranger is now surrounded and trying to fight the knights instead of just leaving them alone. #AND ALSO. WE ALREADY HAD TO GET HIM OUT OF JAIL ONCE BECAUSE HE ATTACKED A FORT WHILE TRYING TO SPY ON IT #my poor paladin (former member of that knights order oops) has to deal with so much shit. god #literally no one in the party is gonna help the ranger now ahjfhjf the wizard had no warning and thought she was being abducted when the- #-ranger tried to run with her #other party members just heard the wizard screaming for help #he's already pulled this sort of shit once and we barely got him out #this is currently ongoing btw my paladin is not stealthy so she was not nearby to take party in all this- just hearing trouble up ahead #dnd meme #¯\_(ツ)_/¯
