I know they probably couldn't because it would so obviously date the show but I think they should have had Alison having to constantly update Pat on how Huddersfield town are doing. He was buzzing to find out that they got to the prem then promptly devastated because as soon as he found this out they got relegated. He was absolutely fuming at the 2022 play off final and didn't shut up about it for weeks. He was also delighted when they managed to stay up in the championship last season. He makes Alison put the radio on whenever they're playing and also makes her put the EFL highlights on every weekend (although he also thinks it's gone to the dogs since moving to itv). Eventually he makes Alison buy an ifollow subscription and watches every match. He was also makes everybody follow England and was absolutely buzzing when Levi Colwill got called up. He also made Alison look up all the England players to see who played for Huddersfield. He thinks ben chilwell should play more and will defend Conor coady with his life (same). Alison and Mike (and half the ghosts) are deeply invested but will not admit it both because of pride and for Alison and Mike specifically because they don't know how they would explain to other people that they support Huddersfield town despite being from London (?) and having zero connection to Huddersfield

Roles for Campus Security Awareness
There are several unique aspects of college and university campuses that make crime prevention more difficult. Opportunities for criminal activity abound on college campuses because of the large number of students present, the general atmosphere of autonomy, the absence of adults in charge, and the uniformity of the surrounding environment. In light of this, a new approach to security is required.
While many institutions, including HEIs, put resources into cutting-edge technology measures, human security is often overlooked. There is a need for a robust emergency notifications and security alert system. People can play a significant part in fostering a secure campus environment by acting as eyes and ears for potential criminal activity, as well as by setting a good example of secure conduct themselves.
Security on campus may be improved by the use of technology (lcd monitors, identity management, locking), administrative and human (behavioral, attitude) measures. Efforts are made to raise security awareness, or the extent to which campus residents are informed about and responsible for campus safety, as part of these human security procedures. This can also include the use of an emergency alerts framework.
Increasing people's security awareness calls for a holistic strategy that takes into account their acquired skills and attitudes in addition to their actions. There should be a triangle of goals for every campus-wide awareness campaign: improved familiarity with security threats and countermeasures, a more optimistic perspective on security, and more security-aware actions.
Those with a high enough sense of security are more likely to be alarmed by and report any unusual behavior.
There are a number of gains that can be made by raising the level of security consciousness among the teachers, staff, and students. For starters, if everyone is aware of the security measures and follows them, the effects of an event on campus can be mitigated to some degree. Those with a high enough sense of security are also more likely to report any suspicious activity they witness, which ultimately lessens the amount of dangers faced by the campus community. And if individuals know the reasoning for the security measures, they are more likely to comply with them. It improves the effectiveness of other technological and organizational measures and reinforces the institution's security culture. Emergency notifications and safety alerts make it easier for everyone to act in a unified manner during an emergency, leading to improved safety outcomes for everyone.
Last but not least, awareness campaigns about security systems such as iFollow Alerts could have a significant influence on campus security without breaking the bank, making them a highly desirable option for universities and colleges. These awareness campaigns may make a significant impact on campus security without needing a significant financial investment, which is especially helpful given the generally restricted security budgets of HEIs. By doing so, we free up funds that may be used toward other, more in-depth technical and organizational solutions, such more security personnel or surveillance cameras.
There are a variety of approaches that could be taken to raise students' knowledge of campus safety issues. In most cases, educators rely on training sessions, presentations, films, and workshops to spread their message. Long-term success can be achieved through educational awareness campaigns about iFollow Alerts, but in the short-term, other tactics are more suited to bring attention to specific security concerns. Posters, flyers, stickers, and banners highlighting certain security themes can be shared on the internet and social media by HEIs, as can newsletters and articles published in the university magazine and campus newspaper.

Hiiii Jen! Would it be too much trouble to recommend some blogs that don’t hate the writers/don’t call other fans conspiracy theorists for blaming the network? I’ve had to do some mass unfollowing recently due to this :/ You’re one of the few people who’s vibes I trust on here so that’s why I’m asking you 💕 thanks!

First impressions, reflections
Weeks before the rotation, I already heard from other intern rotators the ‘horror’ stories about the community—no decent showers or toilets, not enough medicines and supplies in the clinic, no signal or internet, etc. My blockmates expressed how they couldn’t imagine being a solo intern assigned to a whole barangay, with no colleague to double check your findings and no resident to confirm your diagnosis management. I actually got excited because I thought of it as a challenge. A resident told me during our last days in Family Medicine, “Mag-eenjoy ka talaga sa community. Iisipin mo sa una hindi mo kaya tapos magugulat ka nalang na nagagawa mo na. Mapu-push ka talagang maging leader tapos matututunan mo pa’no mag-manage.” I got even more excited. In med school, I was never brave enough to volunteer myself as a leader, not even for small one-time group projects. I was scared of being a facilitator or moderator during small group discussions; I only accepted the role of being a liaison officer because we were randomized. “Baka ito na ‘yung chance ko,” I thought to myself.
Days before the deployment, I found out that I will be assigned to one of the most problematic barangays in our municipality. Then I started to panic. But just when I had accepted my fate, our preceptors told us that we will be switching assignments and I admit I was kind of relieved. But then again, each barangay had their own issues. I wasn’t able to ask for any feedback or endorsement until the day of deployment. All I heard was that my barangay was a ‘sensitive’ one, and that I should always be careful of what I say and not say, and how I act around everyone.
Finally, they day of deployment came and despite my anxiety, I was still very much excited to meet the people in my barangay. Unfortunately, the barangay was closed because everyone was preparing for the fiesta the following day. Luckily, the barangay health workers of the neighboring barangay were kind enough to let me tag along their activities for the day. Maitim I was deemed the model barangay, and I had the opportunity to see why. From the spacious barangay health clinic, to the well-organized files and family folders, to the newly-made spot map, and the extra-hardworking and compassionate members of the health team, I was truly in awe. Their genuine concern for their community’s health is truly inspiring.
Later that day, I would come to meet some of the barangay health workers in my barangay and our meeting was not what I had expected. I was trying my best to be my jolly, bubbly self when one BHW said, “Ay doktora, next week nalang kayo magsimula, busy pa kasi lahat walang mag-aasikaso sa inyo.” And then I somehow felt cut off. I asked if there was anything I could do to help, trying my best to hint that I wanted to stay but because I’m not really the friendly energetic type, I dismissed the thought, thanked them and went on my way instead. Suddenly, I felt lost. Fortunately, another BHW contacted me and was kind enough to meet me and tour me around the barangay. She also helped me on my first clinic duty the following day.
During my first clinic day, it was not at all hard for me to point out what their problems in the barangay were. Our barangay health station was nowhere near that of the neighboring barangay. It was a small room with two tables, an examination bed, a small medicine cabinet, a computer, a non-functional printer, and hundreds of brown folders stacked into storage boxes. Since it was the only clinic day for the week, we were immediately greeted with five waiting patients, one of which was apparently in hypertensive urgency. Since it was my first day, I wasn’t at all oriented but I started seeing patients to decongest the crowded room. The whole process was so confusing—I didn’t know who was the next patient, where to get the folders, which medicines are available, etc. I understand that the BHWs were still exhausted from yesterday’s events but it felt like I was a one-man health team. People would go straight to my consultation table and there was no clear flow of how the patients were processed. There weren’t any prescription pads so I had to tear pieces of bond paper and write “Talon Barangay Health Station, Amadeo, Cavite” on every prescription and lab/imaging request I had to give. A number of heads also peeked every now and then to ask if their medicines were already available, and the BHWs would repeatedly told them “Wala pa po, ipa-follow up pa ni doktora.” It was kind of overwhelming. The cases I encountered were simple ones—URTI, AGE, a skin infection, hypertension, diabetes—but it was hard for me to prescribe medications because I knew that not all of them could afford to go to the town and buy them. The only available antibiotics in the BHS were Amoxicillin and Co-trimoxazole, and the only anti-hypertensive was Captopril. It was quite frustrating because I know what I should have prescribed them but I had to make do with what I had at the time. A patient came in for an infected wound, which I diagnosed as cellulitis. I prescribed him with Cloxacillin because I knew it was the appropriate antibiotic treatment for the case but when the patient left, I realized that he might not comply with what I prescribed. Buying the antibiotics would mean less cash alloted for other needs such as food and his children’s allowance. I wondered then if I should have given him Amoxicillin instead. After the clinic, I had some time to chat with the BHWs and one thing I noticed was they kept reminding me about the lack of medicine. One even told me, “Doc pwede kayong magpatawag ng meeting sa Wednesday next week para ifollow up kay kapitan.” In contrast to what I saw in Maitim I, it seemed that the barangay health workers in Talon were depending on me to fix their problems. I have yet to see the exit reports of the previous intern rotators in barangay Talon, and I have yet to meet the other members of the health team and the community. Perhaps last week was not a good time as most of the community members were preoccupied with other activities. I think that the one day I spent in the barangay was not enough for me to learn how everything is and I am hoping that next week will bring more opportunities for me to do so.
