JANUARY ― popular. my first and ugliest set of 2023 could've been a better but it is what it is. / favorite. ok so i'm gonna go with this set that after a few long months of being depressed and almost kms i decided it was a great time to finally finish this gfx ! i rly like how most of these came out, would love to do something like this again 🧐 but i'm also going to pick this hyunjin set i made for carly's bday, i think it's one of the cleanest rainbow sets i have and will ever make, i make the best sets when i'm depresso.

FEBRUARY ― popular. people like furries i guess? / favorite. omg ok i think this one is hard but i'll go with fox innie he's my best friend . making that set restored 10 years of my lifespan. special mention to my second best friend the sleeping quokka and also this idiot not knowing pom is a dog, getting his dog card revoked.

MARCH ― popular. i love this set seungmin really lives to disturb jeongin's peace (and the rest of skz too) / favorite. i would have picked the set that ended as my most popular but kirby hyunjin is great as well.

When you woke up that morning, you expected to be greeted with rays of sunshine at the ungodly hour, because honestly, why did the sun have to be out at 7am? Didn’t it know you were absolutely not a morning person? So rude. But instead of sunlight, you were greeted with the light pitter patter of rain as it hit your window, which was shocking once your brain recognized the sound. It wasn’t everyday that it rained, but it was honestly one of your favorite types of weather. Whether just a midday storm or a torrential downpour with thunder and lightning, there was something about rain that just warmed your insides in a very unconventional way that was hard to explain. Because rain certainly wasn’t warm, but the feeling you got was something close to warmth - like drinking your favorite coffee while curled up in a comfy chair in your favorite bookstore. There was nothing quite like it.

Normally it would take you about half an hour to actually wake up and get out of bed, but surprisingly you had more energy, tossing the covers off your body as you climbed out of bed. You stumbled your way into the bathroom, not at all surprised to see Jisung in there, brushing his teeth. Your eyes met, a smirk playing on your lips and he snorted, nodding. It was moments like these that words were not necessary. You could read each other like a book. You playfully pushed him to the side and grabbed your own toothbrush, making quick work brushing your teeth. Jisung was, obviously, done before you and by the time you got back to the bedroom, he was half dressed and fumbling around like an idiot.

“Silly.” You giggled, shaking your head fondly at him. You thought about getting dressed, but considering what the two of you were about to do, you didn’t think it was wise. You’d just have to change afterwards anyway.

Jisung was just a tad bit stupid sometimes. You still loved him though. You waited until he was finally dressed, taking his hand and practically dragging him down the hall and out into the living room where Seungmin was waiting by the front door patiently. Like Jisung, he too seemed to understand you without the need for verbalization. Or maybe he just remembered that dancing in the rain was your favorite pastime, next to sleeping.

“Took you long enough.”

“Hey, it’s not my fault my pants wanted to eat me today.” Jisung snorted. Seungmin rolled his eyes, but said nothing as he opened the door. Walking over, you slipped on your shoes and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before skipping out.

“Come on!” You called urgently. There was some shuffling behind you and as you got further down the hall of the apartment, you could hear the door closing shut and two sets of footsteps making their way towards you. You smiled as each man took one of your hands, holding and swinging them happily. This was honestly what you loved most about your boyfriends, the physical affection you shared with them. It always gave you a warm and cozy feeling that just made your chest swell with happiness.

Quietly, the three of you made your way out of the building and onto the empty sidewalk. The rain gently pelted down on you, hair and clothes getting soaked within seconds of being out there. The area was pretty void of people, not just because of the rain but also because it was so early in the morning on a weekday. Which was perfect for you and your plans. You looked to Jisung and then to Seungmin, smirking at them before you dragged them a little ways down the sidewalk where a nice sized puddle was waiting for you.

You let go of their hands, and like the child at heart that you were, you jumped happily into the puddle, splashing not just them, but yourself as well.

“Y/n!” Jisung laughed, shaking the water from his now soaked shoes. Not that it did him any good as he joined you in the puddle soon after, jumping around with you. You giggled, stomping as hard as you could to get him even more wet, succeeding as you watched the water splash up on his legs. Not that it really mattered because the rain was also contributing to the wetness.

You jerked when arms wrapped around, a screaming leaving you as you were lifted and twirled around. “Minnie!!”

He laughed, kissing your cheek a few times before setting you back on your feet. “Having fun?”

“So much fun!”

“It’s a fucking blast.” Jisung chimed in, head tilted out as he let the rain wash over his face. “Best morning ever.”

“Any morning with the two of you is the best morning ever.” You hadn’t expected the sweet words to come tumbling out of Seungmin’s mouth like that. They were so genuine and sincere that they made your heart flutter.

“Seungmin.” You whispered as you turned to stare at him, one hand coming up to cup his cheek. “I love you.” He smiled and you felt yourself melting at it.

“I love you too.”

“And I love me!” Jisung snickered as he moved up behind you and wrapped his arms around you, fingers clutching at Seungmin’s sides to keep him close as well. “And you guys too, obviously.”

“Obviously.” Seungmin snorted and shook his head. “I just hope we don’t catch a cold, we have that wedding to attend at the end of the week.

Oh….shit.

Well, it was what it was and if you ended up getting sick, then so be it. It’s not like you spent hundreds on your dress and tuxedos - thank god. Besides, it just meant you would have more time to be at home with the loves of your lives - snot and all.
