Watching current episodes of one piece, and I just have to say it. I want Sanji and Franky to have a heart to heart about what it means to really be human, and maybe Franky giving him some advice on sone things. Idk I just really think they should be talking after all this germa shit. I just want Franky to go from his usual bro self and then get more serious. Sanji clearly needs someone who gets it, and the person who'd understand his plight the most is Franky.

I want to see usopp getting excited and asking to do tests, along with Chopper. And then Franky, who'd normally initiate this would shut the idea down. a thing that antitheists in general do not seem to understand is that believing that all religions are fake/there are no gods/etc is also a belief that cannot be proven.

like i understand that a lot of them come from a place of trauma and i love bashing christianity as much as the next guy but

1- people still have a right to believe whatever they want (this includes atheists!)

2- you gotta realize that christianity is not representative of all religion. not even of most religions, or organized religions. it is only itself. there are religions out there that are completely different; anti-authoritarian, pro-mental health, pro-doubt, whatever your problem with christianity is there is probably somebody with a religious belief that is a good opposite. there's even beliefs that deconstruct the idea of belief itself, like chaos magic. your pain is real but you're painting the villain too broadly, and you're having a christian-centric worldview. christianity kinda sucks tho in my opinion so it's good to find out what parts of your attitudes toward the world and religion are shaped by christian assumptions and "christianity as the default". for example: atheism should not mean "in my opinion there is no god". it should mean "in my opinion there are no gods" or maybe "in my opinion the only real things are the things that can be proven with the scientific method" (or however you want to phrase it). christianity is a religion structured around a single central god, but there are lots of religions with multiple gods, or no gods at all. and they are no less valid or real than christianity or monotheistic religions in general, despite of what christians may say about it. is your anitheism a rejection of religion in general or a rejection of christianity specifically?
