Would Sokka, Suki and Zuko form a band? And would they call it boiling rock (but Zuko still gets on stage with like... a grand piano or a violin or smth to make it more emo) ?

zuko plays the tsungi horn, sokka plays …

this thing . and suki probably plays the pipa.

sokka writes the lyrics (they just flow out of him, he has a gift!), zuko edits the lyrics to be more poetical by employing more allusions and using more symbolic language, and suki sings (she’s the only one who can sing while she plays, but also, i genuinely doubt zuko or sokka would have nice singing voices anyway).

the idea of them calling their band the boiling rock is so funny it’s like the ultimate fuck you.

and most importantly, iroh gets to see his dream of zuko playing the tsungi horn during music night finally realized.

also i think making the mundane guy version of pb a sweet, earnest baker who came up with the candy kingdom as a gimmick for his pastries instead of an arrogant stem bro with an IQ of a gazillion was a very good call. being a loner genius who thinks the miserable puzzle of existence can be solved through science and self-isolation is very a charming look on a woman (at least, i think so) but is almost always extremely insufferable when applied to a man.

So we pretty much all know about Sokka looking verrrry similar to his mom, Kya, right? (and how that makes him not remembering what she looked like so much sadder) but may I propose:

sokka also picked up a lot of behavioral tics/“things” from Kya when he was young, that’ve just kinda stuck with him throughout his life (that he’s unaware of), and they always remind Hakoda of her. He never points it out or tells Sokka about them tho, in fear of the awareness making him feel guilty or stop altogether. It’s almost like a sad kind of nostalgia, or a reminder that even though she’s gone her presence and impact in all of their lives lives on.

Okay so I’m not sure what « The Arts » mean exactly but this is for @zukkaweek and I decided to draw some art Sokka and Zuko make for each other :)

Anyway uh I made the haiku (and hope I counted the syllabes correctly)
