This man has the biggest dad energy I've ever seen on a character, and happily (unofficially) adopts all of his crew and treats them like family. He's kind, loving, and prides himself on being a very realistic and down to earth guy. Many years ago, he earned fame and glory in the Navy, climbing the ranks up to Captain before he was discharged. Though he was glad to part from the war and the violence he had experienced, the sea remained in Christopher's heart. He couldn't bear to part from it, and started entering sailing competitions as an excuse to stay on the briny blue. Earning even more fame and money as he continued to win practically every race or competition he entered, he eventually retired from actively sailing and happily accepted a job teaching students the ins and outs of boats and the seas they sail on at a little college. Though, of course, when a letter made its way to him inviting him to a sailing race, he just couldn't refuse. The opportunity to be back on a ship was just too good to resist. ...However, this trip might be too much for even the great Captain Vrungel to handle! Watch as his sanity slowly degrades as the race goes on and he begins to question everything he thought was possible, make sure to wish him luck, and feel free to ask him any sort of questions on this Tumblr ask blog.
