Ok how do ghoul do around animals? Specifically pets; are their ghouls who work with animals or ride horses? If so what are differences?

Ooo this is a good one, ghouls and animals!

For the most part, ghouls get along well with them. They can be helpful for everyday tasks, fun to hang out with, or companions that couldn’t turn on them even if they wanted to.

For the most part they’re kept for the same reason humans do, because they love them. Many have trouble trusting people for obvious reasons, but they can always go home and cuddle their little dude.

Lots of ghouls who are going with the “blend in with humans” survival strategy sometimes but groceries so anyone who comes to their house or sees them shopping won’t be suspicious. It’s a big waste, so many of them get pets to feed it to. Ghoul pets live like royalty, dogs and cats get fresh meat and eggs, rodents and birds have all the fancy nuts, seeds, and greens they could want, everything from kittens to iguanas feast like kings. The ones with room sometimes get pigs since they’ll eat anything, they can even mix human organs they find nasty into the slop and know that their neighbors will have no desire to dig through the nastiness

Animals sometimes react to ghouls differently. You know how sometimes pets will be oddly friendly or aggressive to someone? Well ghouls smell pretty different than humans and have the body language of an apex predator. Dogs and cats may recognize body language in them that they have in common and be affectionate, or shy away in fear of a much bigger carnivore. Rabbits and gerbils would run and hide from the distinct smell of blood that clings to them. Crows have been known to follow groups of ghouls because sometimes the undesirable organs are left behind or tossed to them

There is a lot they have in common with some animals. They purr like cats, they greet friends with playful challenges like dogs, they sleep and cuddle a lot like plenty. Lots of animals like ghoul owners for being able to communicate with them on their level

Ghouls make amazing employees in anything involving animals, not just because of their ability to bond with animals easier than they can with ever untrustworthy people, but because of their physical advantages. Groomers who never get bites or scratches and always hold the animals in place without struggle, animal control who can pick up rabid raccoons and feral cats without a mark on them, even wildlife rehab workers, vets, and hell, even nature photographers. They don’t get injured often and if they do, they survive it. They can outclass most animals in terms of strength and stamina. In dire situations, they have kagune to grab them with.

Farming is an especially good profession for them. Plenty have rural ranches not just to avoid humans and have the space to let their kagune out outside, but because they can make a good living that way. For some reason humans love anything with the words “hand raised” and “artisanal” on it so it pays well enough, and they can handle the animals without much help. Farm animals are scared of them at first, they smell like blood and move like predators, but after awhile of Not Getting Killed they warm up to The Food Giver. Horses are the same, and plenty of those Pay For A Day stables are run by them. Really they’re good with any farm animals since they can literally just lift them if they’re becoming a problem

Horse riding is a bit of a challenge for them. The horses are usually threatened by them and they’re often 20-30 lbs heavier than humans their same size. If they do ride horses, they need larger ones that have been able to warm up to them

Many ghouls don’t have much chance of living with humans, so they just say fuck it and go in the woods. There’s less prey and even less companionship, but animals can be kind. Often, they grow attached to some, and gods help whoever threatens them. Theres stories of hunting trips ending in massacres after someone shot the wrong deer, land in Australia thats impossible to develop because something is slaughtering anyone who tries to build there due to some attachment to the platypuses that live there, even a completely blind Tiger in sundarbans inexplicably dressed in a shirt that’s somehow been surviving happily for seven years and anyone who tries to kill her disappears. There’s even rumors of a ghoul in Namibia who’s been wrestling rhinos and elephants to clip their tusks to make them less of a target for poachers, even living among them and surviving off the corpses of the those stupid enough to attack them. The CCG is trying very hard to bury some photos of them, they fear people will sympathize with ghouls too much if they see the pictures of them riding on the elephants or holding their trunks with his rinkaku

Lots of people with dangerous exotic pets are ghouls. They can’t get hurt by them like humans can, so why not adopt a mountain lion? Sadly many are bought illegally because rich people are the worst, but many just go the route of taking in ones who are cool with it, or steal them from those assholes who bought them. The devil apes robbed a shitty zoo for fun once and they’ve had Crankshaft and Handbag the ring-tailed lemurs for four years now

ALL MIGHT / Toshinori Yagi

Your boyfriend had forgotten his lunch box at home again

So, like every other day that he did, you went to U.A. to go give it to him

By now, you pretty much accustomed to his schedule and knew you’re way around

Today though, something felt off…

You couldn’t tell what it was exactly but it just felt..weird? Somehow?

You went to one of the training grounds and finally found your boyfriend…

Being cornered by the league of villains

His face and arms were all bloody and dirty, you could tell he was trying to fight them off

Your hero senses immediately kicked in and you ran towards him

Then you noticed several students laying unconscious behind him

This fueled your rage and protective instincts even more

The League didn’t realize you were there until the very last second when you activated your quirk and started attacking them

Tbh All Might looked pretty relieved when you showed up

It’s as if he knew things would be ok now that you’re here to kick their asses

And kick their asses you did

Let’s just say years of training an already powerful quirk meant that you were really powerful

The lil bitches that call themselves the league of villains were not prepared for you or your quirk but they were quick to adapt

You may be strong but you were still a single person against an entire group of villains

Even still, you fended them off to the best of your abilities

What you didn’t know was that the students of 1-A still had a lot of fight in them

Those that could had quickly come to your aid and, within moments, the tide had changed to your favor

Ngl the damage you guys inflicted was pretty high and it forced Shigaraki to call for a retreat

You let out a sigh of exhaustion and relief before checking on all the students and making sure they were ok

You gave instructions for those who were injured to be taken to the infirmary and overall managed the situation pretty well

All the students were really grateful that you came and, in a way, fighting together made them feel closer to you

Once you made sure everyone was safe, you hurried over to All Might

You then proceeded to scold him for using his quirk while helping him up and bringing him to the infirmary

“Thank you though y/n…I never knew you could use your quirk so well,” he said, coughing

“Don’t mention it, I wouldn’t have let anything happen to you or the kids anyway” you replied with a smile

ERASERHEAD / Aizawa Shouta

It was another peaceful day

The sun was shining bright, birds were singing, people were smiling as they walked along the streets

Yes, it was just another peaceful day

And you were very glad that your patrol ended cuz now, you could go enjoy this peaceful day with your one and only Aizawa Shouta

Just as the thought of Aizawa crossed your mind, you heard a loud boom and several screams

Moments later, a dark figure was flung past your eyes

So much for a peaceful day

Looking over to where the figure landed, you saw none other than Aizawa

His clothes were tattered and torn, injuries were strewn all over his arms and blood trickled from the side of his head

You immediately turned to the direction he came from and stared in horror as the League of Villains battled the young students of 1-A

You heard a cough from behind you and turned to see Aizawa getting up as if he was going back to fight

You quickly ran over to his side and told him to stay put and call for backup

“I’ll fight them off for now”

He seemed reluctant to let you go but he wasn’t in much of a position to argue

So he just gave you a nod and a faint smile

With that, you rushed towards the battle, using your rinkaku (the tentacles..I dont think thats what you call em but nvm basically your quirk) to propel yourself forward

[insert intense and very cool battle scene over here because I suck at describing fights]

You and the students of 1-A managed to hold your own against the league

In fact, you guys did better than hold them off

You guys could’ve probably defeated them had they not run away when the other heroes arrived

A few of the heroes went to chase after them but you stayed behind and helped the medical team make sure everyone was ok

Once you were sure that all the students were safe and accounted for, you went off in search for Aizawa

You found him being treated by one of the medical team

Smiling in relief, you walked over to him

“Ah y/n, when were you going to tell me you look absolutely amazing when you use your quirk?”

You suddenly realized that you’ve never actually used your quirk in front of him before and blushed slightly

“Well I guess this just means there are many more things about me you still don’t know,” you said with a playful smirk which he returned

PRESENT MIC / Yamada Hizashi

It’s been forever since you and your boyfriend Yamada Hizashi went out on a date together

Work has been pretty busy lately so you two haven’t really had the time

Which is why you were so glad that the two of you were able to take the weekend off

He was the one who suggested going out for a stroll around town

“Heard about this new restaurant that has amAZINGG fried chicken”

So here you two were, sitting in a fast-food restaurant eating chicken to your hearts’ content

You felt slight vibrations and tremors but dismissed it thinking it was probably the construction happening down the street

However, when you heard several screams a while later, you knew this wasn’t just some construction

Hizashi realized this too and you two quickly hurried out of the restaurant, leaving the fried chicken behind to go help the people outside

Just as you suspected, this was another villain attack, although these villains weren’t just any villains

They were… The League of Villains *gasp* dun dun dunnn

“I’ll go fend them off while you help evacuate everyone ok?” Present Mic said

You nodded and the two of you rushed off

You used your quirk to protect the civilians from any stray blasts or debris that were sent your way as you led them to safety

You had also made sure to call for backup

Once everyone was safe, you went back to help Present Mic

He was badly injured in the time you left him alone to fight and was barely able to stand anymore

Your protective instincts suddenly kicked in and you propelled yourself forward in between your man and the league

The only thought you had was to make sure that Hizashi was safe

And that one thought served as a flame to your power as you fought off the villains

You knew your quirk was a strong one

You had confidence in your training and your abilities

There was no way you were going to lose now

You fought well and held the league off until the other heroes arrived to help

The league somehow managed to escape before they could be captured

Since the fight was over though, you went to check on Hizashi and saw he was as spunky as ever

“Y/n you were amAZINGG. Your power, your technique…”

You sighed as he continued to fangirl over your quirk and the way you fought

Truth is, you’ve never actually used your quirk to fight in front of him before

Either way, you were glad he found your quirk amAZINGG

The Freedom of Expression, radio version - Ep 20, Feb 2016 - A.I technology, STAP cell/Obokata Haruko controversy.

Kaoru starts by explaining the show's concept, then introduces Joe. He then expresses his happiness that the show has reached as many as twenty episodes.

After reading out the contact info, they get straight into the Tokyo Sports corner this time, by welcoming Dobashi. As a joke, Dobashi introduces himself as "Dobashi from Tokyo Sports, where everything except the date is false", which gets big lols from the others. Dobashi's first story relates to the news that the A.I. company Deepmind had produced a computer program which for the first time, was able to beat a human professional at the game of Go. This was quite big news at the time, but linking on from this was another story about a group of researchers who were trying to teach and use A.I to complete the unfinished novel “Kyomu kairo”, by the late sci-fi author Komatsu Sakyo. Dobashi wonders how A.I. will develop from now on, and asked the others about their thoughts. Joe thinks this is beginning to creep into 'god's domain'. God/kami isn't joining them today, he still hadn't recovered from his cold. Joe continues on to say that if A.I. were to complete the novel, there is no way to know whether thats how the author himself would have written it. He also wonders where humans will fit in if A.I. is able to produce such works. Kaoru mentions that it would be pretty incredible if A.I. went far beyond human expectations. Joe asks Kaoru how he would feel about writing some of a Dir en grey song, and then handing it over to A.I to work on. Kaoru says he would actually find that interesting. Joe suggestst Kaoru could complete another version by himself and then showcase the two versions at a live show to see the difference. He wonders if fans would be able to tell which one was which, and they could perhaps release the two versions and see which one sold more. Kaoru thinks this is an interesting idea, but it would be pretty bad if he lost to the A.I. version. The band have considered using A.I. for their artwork before. Kaoru says he can understand how A.I. could beat humans at the game of Go, because there is always an element of human error in a human player, which A.I. can eliminate. As for creative works or music, he is interested as a listener, but as a creator he finds it a bit scary.

Dobashi wonders whether A.I. will eventually replace newspaper reporters if it can gather data about the news from social media sites. Kaoru doesn't think this will happen, there must be more to journalism than scanning social media. Joe thinks the most scary thing is if future generations lose their passion after becoming used to works created by A.I..Kaoru feels like some crazy stuff is bound to be produced, and imagining people being rased on such material is a scary thought. At least, he says, A.I. cannot perform lives. Part of the fun of a live show is the small mistakes, or stumblings that the artist makes. A.I. could not deliver the spontaneity of a real live show. Joe says it reminds him of an early episode of Lupin III, which involved a crime fighting computer, designed to predict Lupin's every move and finally catch him. The reason it didn't catch him in the end was because of Lupin's impulsiveness. This has left a big impression on Joe since he first saw it. Joe worries that as the world becomes more and more dependent on A.I, will that impulsive element of humanity be erased?

Dobashi's next story is in relation to the news that Obokata Haruko, the scientist behind the STAP cell research fraud scandal, had published a book entitled, 'That day/ano hi (あの日)' which laid out her side of the story. The book ended up in 1st place on Amazon's best sellers list, as so many people were interested in what she had to say. Dobashi says he hasn't read the book himself, but according to reports, Obokata claims she was set up by her senior colleague. Kaoru mentions that there seems to be a trend of people writing books after they have been involved in some kind of incident. In this case, Obokata was apparently approached by the publisher Kodansha with a book offer. Joe says he has not read the book, so can't make much comment on it, but unlike Moto Shonen A (a child serial killer who published a book, and was previously discussed during the live broadcasts), Obokata is not a criminal, so there is nothing wrong with her trying to get her story out there. If what she says is true, the media reporting on the issue up until that point ought to be questioned. Joe asks Dobashi, 'If the media knows their audience is seeking a solid conclusion, but the actual reality is more ambiguous, do they still run with it?" Dobashi says, yes they do. For Tokyo Sports, its all in the headlines. He feels the need to back this up by insisting that Tokyo Sports reporters do still practice proper journalism, which gets laughs from the others. Joe says that there is quite a difficult conflict going on between not reporting lies, and keeping the stories exciting. Kaoru asks Dobashi if he ever feels under pressure to not report about certain things. Dobashi says there is a lot of pressure. For example, politicals have intervened from the side before to tell them, 'you can't report that!' etc. In that case Tokyo Sports will limit the way they report such things, just to the point that they feel like they will probably get away with it. Kaoru comments that its interesting to see how tough it gets, even when trying to produce a fun paper like Tokyo Sports. Joe suggests to Dobashi he could write a side-note on any articles where interventions have taken place, explaining why the story couldn't be expanded any further. They all agree this is an interesting idea. As for Obokata, Kaoru feels kinda sorry for her.

Kaoru finishes by explaining about the show's stickers once again. After sending them to the winners of the previous Arche cover design competition, they will be sent to other contributors based on Kaoru's feelings. If he likes anything the listeners send in, they will get a sticker.

Hmm... while Ghouls of all types can vary with Regeneration, Rinkaku are the ones where thats especially powerful normally, right? i'm guessing your Ghoulsona is rather glad that they have that ability?

yup! They take a lot of damage, a lot of times they’ve only been able to barely come out alive, but all that regeneration has made them very sturdy and hard to take down, they can stand their ground without using their kagune as much against the average ghoul.

Finished reading the chapter. I love the lines of Urie, his character development is huge!!!

So Marude said that there are other people hosting the other Dragons and we do know that Rize is one of them.

If we're talking about rc cells/ blood compatibility, here are some candidates that I think are the ones residing in Dragons:

1. Hajime and the Oggai

> Hajime might be a good candidate since he's clearly known in the latter part of :re and I think his character, in general, isnt finished. Oggai is too general bcuz there are like... a hundred of them, but it is still appropriate to include them in the list.

Why? Mainly because they have the kakuhou/kagune of Rize, a pure Washuu-blood.

2. Arima Kishou

I doubt, i feel like it would be meaningless to place arima back since his arc has died.

Why? Same reason as above, though half-human, he still has that same Washuu-blood.

3. Ihei Hairu

Hairu is likely be a candidate since it's foreshadowed for a couple of chapters and I think Furuta still has her head, just insert it in and bloop! regenerate. Though it might not happen since in the 2016 calendar, its ukaku that is foreshadowed in her birthday rather than rinkaku (dragon).

Why? Half-human, has the same blood with the washuus thus compatible with the dragon.

4. V

V are also washuu-blood (i think) and its possible that they've attached themselves to control the dragon to achieve super peace.

In terms of persona:

1. All Kaneki's persona

I highly doubt this since it wouldn't make much sense for Kaneki to create himself. But Ishida is very unexpected so who knows.

Why? With Rize's persona in the previous chapters, kaneki might've created her, thus her appearance in one of the dragons. This also applies to Kaneki's personas.

2. Yamori

Yamori was Kaneki's symbol of strength while Rize is...idk...the ghoulish side i guess?

Why? Same reason as above
