Where's that post about Desire trying to seduce Hob by shapeshifting to look like Dream but for ~~**some reason**~~ he's immune to their wiles and it's absolutely infuriating because it really seems like something as nauseating as True Love that Hob can just sense that it isn't Dream and therefore remains faithful to his stranger.
Because all I can imagine is Desire having an incredibly obvious tell like their eyes literally remain golden the entire time they're pretending to be Dream and Hob is like, "... This person can't be serious, right?"
But they are, they are serious, it just so happens that deep stupidity runs in the family because Desire is just as dumb about normal day to day stuff as Dream and being an inconceivably powerful anthropomorphic personification means that your underlings are reluctant to tell you when your "genius" plans are nothing of the sort because you live in the ultimate rich magical privilege bubble.

The people who believe that a dog on tik tok can use voice recording buttons to vocalize an existential crisis and casually invent metaphors on the fly would have 100% believed that Clever Hans the horse could do complicated arithmetic back in 1904

"Er, don't you think that you're a bit too smart to be a guard, Preston?"
Preston shrugged. "Well, the lads all think that I am useless," he said cheerfully. "They think that there's got to be something wrong with someone who can pronounce the word 'marvelous.'"
"But, Preston...I know you are very clever and sufficiently erudite to know the meaning of the word 'erudite.' Why do you sometimes pretend to be stupid--you know, like 'doctrine' and 'happy ass corp ass'?"
Preston grinned. "I was unfortunately born clever, miss, and I've learned that sometimes it's not such a good idea to be all that clever. Saves trouble."

Warning to all Tumblr friends
There's a new blog on here, @scrumptiousinternetyouth going around messaging me, a bunch of my friends, and many others asking if we want commissions. The only reason why I noticed this specific blog as suspicious is because they messaged mere SECONDS after I liked a photo they posted.
Turns out they've been soliciting and when asked about their work they've shared so much art of completely different styles, it became plainly clear what they were doing.
Here are the sources of the art they're using on their blog.
SIY's comm price list = vs = the original artist's self portrait: @soyochiiii [art link]
NFT art from KPRVerse - a metaverse building crytpo game
Alex Guenther's "Wakanda's Guardian"
this one was hard to find the artist for because there are so few posts. Here's a post from hiatus on twitter earlier this month, and one from @lazytama here on tumblr [original post deleted, link goes to @chibigohan] from March 2019
This blog was created less than a month ago and they're already up to no good. This is not what Tumblr is about.

Me and @heraldofcrow got into a debate (if that's what you call yelling cursed shit at each other like banshees fhhhvhh) about priests who are allowed to get married and have kids and I made an "arguement" that sexy priests should be hard to get and that's the whole point, it is like Idols stuff but not problematic, she said I had AO3 brainrot, and I argued that no one will simp for a taken person no matter how slutty their robes look and being in marriage is like a black hole that sucks out all sexyness and she said KATY WTF LMAO 😭😭😭 and I said 'CHRISTIAN PRIESTS SHOULD BE FUCKED WHEN THEY ARE TEMPTED TOWARDS SIN, NOT WHEN THEY ARE PEGGED BY A LOVING WIFE' 🤣 Lmao I am going to Hell

You think you’re making a good choice getting a smart dog. Oh, he’ll understand human language better, he’ll pick up training faster, etc etc. And all of that may be true.
The problem is that truly smart dogs watch everything. They learn. And the result is that no lock made by god or man can stop them unless it requires thumbs to operate. Our authority over Trinket truly only rests on the fact that he hasn’t figured out a carabiner yet.

So, I finally tried The Flavor. It was genuinely bizarre, because there is a taste but it's not really anything that's meaningful. It is like drinking "Colorless green ideas sleep furiously".
Which, actually, brings me to my conclusion of why it is like this. It's genuinely kind of interesting. There are no real disparate elements between the two beverages, nothing that would expressly taste bad if mixed. But, also, cranberry and cucumber aren't really good together, or bad, just weird. Then there's the makeup of it all. Salt, sugar, and alcohol. I genuinely think that when these things combine in this way they actually do sort of short out your brain and get NULL as a response. Because you do taste something, it's just nothing.
My primary reaction to it was that it was heavy. Not the way cream or oil is heavy, but the way a small weight in your mouth would be heavy. My brain prioritized the mass of The Flavor before it could work out what it tasted like.
Like I said, this is "Colorless green ideas sleep furiously" of drinks. There is nothing wrong with the actual composition of the beverage, but it is incoherent nonsense the second it has to stand up to actual review.
