how i think the boys would react to me driving

i am not good at driving.

background: let's pretend that the boys could come into our world; they're gonna have to experience cars at some point. but what's this? i'm driving?? oh boy. whether it's all of the boys somehow piled into my junk of a car, or just one unlucky fellow as my passenger, here's how i think this would go down.

Lucia

❧ he'd probably be pretty calm, keeping himself composed outwardly

❧ but on the inside he's freaking out

❧ i mean he's had his fair share of near death experiences so he's probably a little used to this feeling

❧ he doesn't wanna seem scared but he's secretly gripping onto any nearby surface to keep himself steady

❧ he doesn't necessarily mind my music, in fact i believe he'd get down to nicki, meg thee stallion or doja cat

❧ not really vibing with my rock music selection, although he might enjoy some pop rock

❧ probably gets worried about people looking at us since i blast my music like really loud

Levy

❧ i feel like he'd actually enjoy it when i drive fast since he likes going fast on his horse

❧ but this man cannot stand it when i make sharp turn and impulsive decisions; he grips onto the arm rest or overhead handle

❧ i also feel like he would get car sick, but only under the weirdest circumstances, like on roundabouts or really long bridges

❧ would absolutely critique my driving and make fun of my poor parking skills, as if he could do any better smh

❧ he would also require the ac to be on at all times, but still complain that he's cold like boy-

❧ hates it when i blast my music and tries to turn it down jokes on him the volume knob is broken and only makes the sound go up even higher

❧ of my music selection i think he'd like alt rock but the soft angsty artists like chase atlantic or the neighborhood

Mefy

❧ he's having a great time :)

❧ he's only mildly concerned about my,, skills but he, too, is an agent of chaos and simply goes along with it

❧ would probably try to peer pressure me into speeding or tailgating

❧ is probably most likely to be the one that gets me pulled over cuz you just can't help but want to follow what he says

❧ turns the music back up immediately after levy manages to successfully turn it down

❧ makes fun of my parking in the most passive aggressive way, like his comments don't necessarily sound mean but they hurt emotionally

❧ would also probably like chase atlantic and the neighborhood, and i think he'd also vibe to my villain playlist

Oswald

❧ is panicking, but only on the inside

❧ not having the best time, but he can be easily distracted from my questionable driving if there are others in the car and if the vibe is right

❧ he's so great at looking out for where i need to turn or where our exit is

❧ p much he reads the signs for me since i cannot see nor read and he tells me where to go :)

❧ would probably consider homicide if i told him i accidentally left my license at home again

❧ he likes dad rock/2000s rock and hozier, chill vibes with slightly dark undertones

Kaim

❧ can you say backseat driver 🙄

❧ another one to critique my driving only he's mean about it and would make me consider pulling a themla and louise

❧ forces me to do a full perimeter check and readjust my mirrors like i'm about to retake my exam

❧ istg it's like driving with my mom

❧ i'd trust him to fix my rear view mirror for me when it wobbles out of place on the highway 😌

❧ another one to read directions and road signs to me; with him in the car i just know we getting to our destination

❧ prefers it when there's no music in the car, but would settle for classical or a freaking news station

❧ he hates it. he hates me.

❧ noel would probably be warning him not to get in the car rightfully so

❧ visibly uncomfortable and complains about literally everything

❧ "you're going too fast, your music is too loud, your car is filthy, what is this stain" wait til he sees the car lock and unlock on its own >:)

❧ would probably also threaten me at some point

❧ he tries to keep a calm exterior but don't think i don't see him absolutely gripping onto the door and center console

❧ another one who prefers driving in silence so he can think about what to write in his will but could also go for some soothing classical or maybe some light jazz

❧ we would be straight up vibing; like yeah he's an asshole but he'd actually be pretty fun to have as a passenger

❧ would likely encourage me to tailgate or speed, but flips off the people who tailgate or honk at me

❧ laughs at anyone who becomes car sick

❧ absolutely makes fun of my parking but he's not genuinely being mean about it

❧ it's just like a "haha you suck" type thing

❧ doesn't help with the cleanliness of my car; his feet are on the dashboard, he's throwing his trash everywhere, probably spills crumbs or his drink at some point

❧ would like rock music and honestly also male manipulator music, maybe some 2000s rap

❧ the perfect passenger, does not complain at all, but he doesn't contribute to the vibe whatsoever

❧ would read out directions for me but would want me to be like 100% perfect about it

❧ like "you need to merge... why haven't you merged yet??" bro there is a 16-wheeler on my left calm tf down

❧ points out when other people are driving poorly or speeding as if i'm not doing the same

❧ would occasionally grab onto something to steady himself but he's calm and won't freak out

❧ doesn't really have a music preference but he over analyzes the lyrics and would probably need someone to translate if he doesn't understand what is being said

❧ he's just happy to be here, but i can see the concern in his eyes

❧ tells me that i should slow down or reminds me what the speed limit is at least once every 10 minutes

❧ won't ask me to turn down the music but he would prefer the volume not go above 25

❧ with everyone else i think i would be able to get away with my car making weird noises since they don't know anything about cars "the brakes? oh yeah they're totally supposed to sound like that"

❧ but with lucas, i feel like he would just know the car is busted and just,, stares at me when it makes a weird noise

❧ would insult the drivers that are mean to me and comforts me when people honk and i start to cry

❧ i feel like he'd enjoy 90s and 2000s pop, and would jam out to britney

❧ out of everyone i think he'd have the most fun

❧ the vibes are like when you invite your younger brother or cousin to hang out with your friends for the night at like denny's or whatever

❧ encourages me to drive a lil faster like down hills or to go over the speed bumps quicker like we're on a carnival ride

❧ loves looking out the window to see everything pass by, points out when there's a dog and i almost crash cuz i wanna see the dog too >:(

❧ he thinks he's getting away with something when he listens to explicit songs

❧ chill with whatever music i wanna play but he will be requesting to play songs prolly messes up my spotify algorithm smh
