#and then on the other hand you've got people with experience in the environments who can give tips to navigate it if needed
Note
do you have advice on how to write genuine dialogue? i have a very severe case of when getting into the mindset of writing, and specifically writing dialogue, i only regurgitate whatever i have heard/seen from other media. it just seems unoriginal, ingenuine, and for aesthetic value only (i end up writing something out of a poem and not real people conversations). please help 😞
Writing Dialogue That Sounds Natural/Genuine
1 - Know Your Characters Well - One of the most important elements of writing natural/genuine-sounding dialogue is making sure you know your characters well. If you don't know who they are... their personalities, their experiences, what they care about, what they know and don't know... then you can't accurately envision what they'd have to say in a conversation. See: Making Personalities Unique and Keeping Them Straight
2 - Flesh Out Character Voice - "Character voice" is how your character's background, experiences, and personality affect what they say and how they speak. This isn't about quality of voice... it's about vocal personality. See: Giving Your Characters a Unique Voice
3 - Know What They're Going To Talk About - There's nothing that sounds more unnatural and inauthentic than characters having a conversation that has no relevance to anything. That said, it's super important to understand why you're writing this dialogue scene... what are you trying to accomplish with it? How does that move the story forward, move character development forward, or deliver important information to the reader? What needs to be said and why? Being clear on this can help you craft dialogue that sounds natural and genuine because it's relevant and serves a purpose.
4 - Balance Exposition, Action, and Dialogue - Overall, we want our stories to have a relative balance of exposition (explaining things), action (things happening), and dialogue. We want a relative balance of exposition, action, and dialogue in our scenes, too. What I mean by "relative" is you generally wouldn't want a scene that's all dialogue, very little action, and no exposition. (And I say "generally" because there can be exceptions... short scenes, scenes that serve a unique purpose, scenes with unique requirements, etc.) So, it's important to really think about the needs of your scene, what you're trying to accomplish, and make sure you've got a relative balance of dialogue, exposition, and action (as long as it works for the scene.) See: Exposition, Action, and Dialogue, and How to Pace Your Story
5 - Write Dialogue with Sensory and Emotional Depth - We never want our dialogue to be just words batted back and forth between two or more people. Dialogue needs to have depth, and we give it that depth in two ways.
-- Sensory Details in Dialogue -- Sight: what are the characters doing as they talk? What is their body language? Facial expressions? Hand gestures? How do they physically interact with their environment and others in the conversation? Sound: quality of voice (when characters voices get loud or soft, when a voice is gritty or raspy, when the speaker has an accent or speaks with a particular tone or cadence) as we as sounds like coughing, clearing the throat, or sighing... and sounds resulting from the character's interactions with the environment or others. Smell: bad breath or alcohol on the breath... or good breath... the smell of the speaker's perfume or body odor, the smell of a cigarette they're smoking, or a food they're eating.
Taste: there aren't many opportunities to include taste in dialogue, but possibilities would be tasting bile due to something awful someone said in the conversation, tasting food or drink sampled during conversation, or even "tasting" a smell associated with the environment during the conversation.
Feel: again, this will be more environmental... feeling a "chill" in the room when something cruel or scary is said. Noticing things felt due to the environment or interaction with the environment/others. Internal physical sensations felt during conversation.
*** And, it's important to note that I'm not suggesting that you include every sense or lots of sensory details. It's just adding a few that make sense can add depth and authenticity to the dialogue.
-- Emotional Details in Dialogue --
You also want to be sure to explore the emotional impact of the conversation as well as what characters are thinking as they participate in the conversation, and what they feel about what others are saying. As mentioned above in the "feel" portion of sensory details, you can explore the internal sensations caused by emotions felt as a result of the conversation. Stomach turning due to something unpleasant being said. Butterflies in stomach due to something exciting being said. Chill up the spine due to something scary being said. You can also explore emotions through visual emotional cues, which brings us back to things like body language, gestures, and facial expressions. Letting us know what characters are thinking and feeling (emotionally) during the conversation--or what they appear to be thinking and feeling if they don't say or we can't be inside their heads--adds depth and authenticity to the dialogue scene.
Happy writing!

To New Friends | JJH (M)
Tumblr media
Corporate AU, Strangers to lovers (?), Younger Jaehyun x older fem reader
Summary: You really hate having to go to formal events. The people, environment, joverall experience is never pleasant. Having to constantly deal with being undermined as a woman and CEO is something no one should have to deal with, but here you are, forced to deal with it anyway. You were sure your night would be horrible, that is until you bumped into Jaehyun, who not only happened to be a new face, but just your type.
Warnings: sexual content, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, oral (male and fem receiving), snowballing, cum eating, spit, sexism/misogyny, harassment (if you would call it that, proof read but may contain errors my bad y'all)
Word count: 5,3 k
Song recs: perfume, kiss by NCT djj, on the way by Jhene Aiko
A/N: been a bit obsessed with Jaehyun and wanted to write about him. Got a bit carried away a bit too delusional so this is the product of that. This is pure filth I'm so sorry. Feedback is loved and appreciated

Charity events were never really your thing. The pleasantries, snobby sexist businessmen, and their annoying wives. You always hated them. All of them were just ways for rich narcissists to make it seem like they had compassion, but everyone knew it was just as fucked up as anything else. None of these people ever cared for the cause, just how much they were putting into it.
However, the hardest thing about these events is being a successful single woman. You take pride in not being taken although people your age tell you it's about time you settle down and start a family. You don't really like the idea of not working and giving up a career you worked hard for over some snotty nose kid and a man who probably would cheat on you anyway. It's an extremely pessimistic way of looking at marriage, but you couldn't help it, especially seeing how all of your friends' relationships are at the moment.
But sometimes, you did wish you had an interesting life, like right now. Right now you were stuck in a conversation with 2 CEOs and their wives going on and on about their children in private schools across the globe. You twirled your drink in your glass leaning on your elbow as you stood across from them.
"But Y/N..you aren't looking for anyone right now," Rosé asked. She was the wife of a powerful man who owned one of the biggest tech companies in the world. She was also the fakest person you've ever met. You didn't like her and thank God the feeling was mutual.
"No, I'm not. I prefer to focus on working right now," you answered. You sipped your drink without breaking eye contact with her. She knew exactly what she was doing, constantly trying to embarrass you.
"You said that last time honey. Don't you want to..rest for a while? Find someone to take care of you? I mean, you're beautiful, so it shouldn't be too hard," she replied.
"I like working. And I can take care of myself." The table got quiet, sensing the attitude you didn't mean to let slip out. "Anyway, I'm going to go greet other guests. Have a good night."
Just as you turned around, you practically walked into a wall of a man, spilling your drink on your off-white dress.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry," he said. It was a voice you didn't recognize. You looked up at him, surprised at the handsome sight your eyes were met with. He was blonde and tall. His voice was a bit deep for his appearance.
"It's.. it's okay," you said, trying not to show how irritated you were.
"I'll go get something for you to clean up with." He turned around and walked away quickly. You watched him as he begged the kitchen staff for napkins, ears red from the embarrassment. When he came back, he handed them to you with both hands.
'Polite,' you thought to yourself. "Thank you," you said, flashing him a quick smile. "I'm Y/N by the way. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Jaehyun," he said, watching you wipe your dress. "Do you come to these things often?"
"These events? Well, I have to, considering my job. But If I'm gonna be honest, I don't really like them," you said, whispering at the end of your statement.
Jaehyun chuckled softly, looking down at you. "Tell me about it. I can't stand these things either."
"At least we have something in common. Well, it was nice to meet you Jaehyun," you said with a small smile. You walked away before letting him respond, almost as if you were running away from the conversation. He was handsome, a little too handsome, and really well-spoken too. And for the first time, someone finally spoke to you like a regular person. But of course, you didn't want to give him the impression that you were trying to flirt when he was just being nice. That's what you tell yourself all the time - that they're just trying to be nice - no matter how many times they ask you for your number or ask you on dates.
No one knew, but another reason you didn't want to get married is that you had no interest in having a trophy husband. Most men who try and get with you are often just looking for someone to sink their manipulative claws into. They thought that because you're beautiful and rich, you must've killed an old husband for it. But whenever you tell them about how you busted your ass since your teenage years to get where you are, they're no longer interested. You aren't well known amongst your run-of-the-mill businessmen, so they take you as a joke until they actually google you. You found it comical how many of them text you saying they were sorry and begging you to go out with them again. But after a while, dating and trying to talk to people really did become exhausting, so you just decided to not do it anymore. And it's been that way for 4 years now.
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Lee! How are you guys?" You shook both of their hands with a smile, trying to hide how much you wanted the interaction to be over.
"We're good. You know we just had another kid," Taeyong announced.
"Oh really? Congratulations!"
"Thank you..and I see you're here alone again unless that," Irene said pointing to the wet stain on your dress," was made by someone I assume."
"Oh, this? I bumped into someone, that's all," you answered. You were sure they knew you were getting more and more annoyed with how Taeyong's eyes shifted between you and his wife.
"A shame. I was almost excited to see someone here with you but alas..the ice queen will never melt." Irene's eyes were always judgmental. You knew she thought she was better than you with all her expensive dresses and jewelry, constantly trying to flaunt her possessions and family in front of you and other people.
'What a bitch,' you thought to yourself. You flash her a small smile, twirling the drink from your glass. "I do hope you guys have a good night, and I hope you figure out your son's scandal. Buying test scores isn't something I'd want to be accused of."
You walked off seeing Irene's ticked-off expression. 'Serves that bitch right.' Taking a sip of your champagne, you spotted Jaehyun talking to a group of men, some of whom have tried to get with you in the past. You shouldn't have stared but you couldn't help it. He was the first man you actually found yourself attracted to out of all the single men in these events. You watched and sipped your drink, staring at him as he laughed and smiled. 'He has dimples?' you caught yourself thinking. "I need a stronger drink." Just as you were about to walk away, the one person you didn't want to see spotted you.
Jaehyun motioned for you to come to him from across the room. Being the nice person you are, you walked up to him and the other men. "Hey," you said, glancing at the group of them awkwardly.
"I know we just met but I wanted to introduce you to some of my friends," he said.
"We've.. already met before," you laugh awkwardly.
"Yeah. She's not very nice," Mingyu commented. His eyes went from your face to your cleavage which was showing a bit in the low-cut dress. "But who needs to be nice when you're dressed like that?"
Mingyu and the other men snickered at your fading smile, nudging each other to look at your expression. Jaehyun took notice, clearing his throat and gaining their attention. "Guys, chill out."
"Or what, she can't take a little joke?" Mingyu scoffed and sipped his drink, staring at you, daring you to say something. Little did he know you weren't scared of anyone, and you certainly wouldn't be embarrassed by anyone either.
"You know what? Yeah, it was a bit funny," you said nodding. "You wanna know what else is funny?"
Mingyu raised his brow, clicking his tongue. "I'm listening."
"I think it's funny how you had to close 5 of your 15 stores already because of how poorly they're doing." You covered your face letting out a fake laugh. All the men looked at you, none of them amused anymore, especially Mingyu. "What's with the serious faces? I thought we were telling jokes."
"You're miserable really," he said, turning away from you, and walking away. "No wonder no one wants you. You're gonna end up dying alone."
"As long as it's not with you." You let out a big sigh as he and his other friends got farther away from you. You've always had a sharp tongue and quick remarks never letting anyone catch you off guard. It was something you had to learn for survival in the corporate world, especially as a woman.
"I'm really sorry about him," Jaehyun said, tongue poking his cheek in annoyance.
You turned to him, surprised to see he was still there. "Oh no, don't apologize. You seem so nice. Why are you friends with people like that anyway?"
"I'm a bit new to stuff like this," he admitted. "I've never been in an environment with such successful people, so I just became friends with anybody."
You chuckled softly at his words, finding his naiveness endearing. "If you want advice from someone who's been here for a while, I'd say don't become friends with just anyone."
"And what if I wanna be your friend?"
You look at him immediately being faced with his dimples. 'Gosh, he's cute.' "Then I'd be grateful," you said.
He raised his glass, fixing his suit jacket with his other hand, proposing a toast. "To making new friends?"
You clung your glass with him with a smile nodding. "To making new friends."
-
It's been 2 hours since the event started and usually at this point you would've gone home, but this was unfortunately the most important event of the year, so you had to stay. If you didn't, you would probably get a very angry email from the board of your company again, and you didn't feel like dealing with any of that.
In situations like this, you usually went outside, but the location of this event was a million-dollar penthouse. Thankfully, there was a balcony with a pool that too many people were afraid they would fall into. You were leaning on the ledge of the glass fence staring out into the view of the city. Even at night, it looked like daytime. No one stopped for anything or anyone, always fast-paced no matter what. If you knew that's what your life would look like years ago, you probably would've just pursued something lowkey. But you worked hard and weren't going to stop now.
"You been out here for a long time?"
You turned around to see Jaehyun walking up to you. He held his suit jacket in his arm, his other hand stuffed in his pocket. He was buff, buttons straining against his chest. You gulped, not being able to control your obvious staring. 'How was he hiding all that under his suit,' you thought to yourself.
"No, just for a couple of minutes. It gets kind of suffocating sometimes," you admitted.
Jaehyun came up next to you, leaning on the fence as he stared into the city lights. He had such a well-defined face, a jawline sharper than diamonds. He's probably the most handsome man you've ever seen. If you had more to drink, you'd probably fall right into his lap by now.
"I feel you. What..do you do by the way," he asked, looking away from the view and at you.
"I own Jasmine Marketing Company," you answered. Your company is one of the most famous marketing companies in the country, and you basically did it all by yourself. Being a woman in her mid-30s with an establishment as big as this one is rare, but you happened to do it. You don't like to announce who you are because people treat you differently, but you don't mind doing it if you have to put someone in their place.
Jaehyun's eyes went wide, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Woah..didn't expect that."
"Why? Did you think I was gonna say something like 'Oh I'm blah blah's wife' or that I own some fashion brand," you joked.
"Oh, no. I didn't mean it like that." He panicked, letting out a big sigh before looking down at his feet. Jaehyun's head shot up when he heard you laugh, voice lighting up the quiet balcony.
"I was just kidding. I know you didn't mean it that way, it's okay," you said, comforting him.
Jaehyun smiled, letting out a laugh in disbelief. "Goodness, you are really something," he commented, a bit more relaxed.
You turned your body to him, arm leaning on the railing for support. Jaehyun might've been nice and well-mannered, but on the surface, he was just a man. It was taking everything in him to not look at your chest. Being the smart woman you are, you notice it. "It's okay. I won't get mad at you," you said quietly.
"W-what are you talking about?" Jaehyun gulped, biting his lip nervously.
"I mean.." you took a step closer to him, so close he could smell your floral scent perfume. "You can look. I won't get mad."
It wasn't like you to be this bold, but after a couple of glasses of champagne and constantly being talked to by people you didn't like, the least you could do was treat yourself to the nervous new guy.
Jaehyun chuckled softly, trying to cover up how flustered he was. "I'm not gonna fall for that." Jaehyun would like to think of himself as a smart man. He knows what he should do and what he shouldn't despite being given permission to do so. He's dealt with many women but none like you. You're confident and quick, but never let your guard down. And that's how you wanted to keep it.
You smirked, turning back to lean on the railing. "I like you Jaehyun," you commented. "Most men would look, and then proceed to think that means they could touch me. It's annoying."
"Well, I'm not like most men."
You smiled, moving your hair from your face. "You know, it's kind of rare to see a fresh face among all these old people," you admitted. "For the first time in a while, I can say I had a little fun tonight."
Maybe, just maybe, there was something here right now, between the 2 of you. It's so cliche. He bumps into you making you spill your drink over your dress, defends you from his annoying friends, and is now talking to you instead of making connections at a charity event. He's handsome with pretty blonde hair and nice dimples, and a body to go with it too. This night was almost too perfect for you. You hadn't felt a spark with anyone for a very long time, not wanting to get with just anyone.
"Why? Because of me," he asked, joking. Jaehyun's smile dropped a bit when you nodded.
"What do you do, if you don't mind me asking," you asked.
"I'm the CEO of Jeong Enterprises," he answered.
"Really," you asked, a bit shocked. "But you're so.."
"Young? Yeah I know. Took over for my father a couple of years back," he answered with a sigh.
You know Mr. Jeong, but you never met his son. He's a nice man with very strong values, always talking about how much he loves his family, and how much he wants them to succeed. Years ago, he got sick and hasn't been able to manage the company head-on. Mr. Jeong said he was going to appoint a new CEO, but you never would've guessed it was his son.
"It's not as easy as people make it look. I mean having to pick up from where he started was hard, but I would say I've done a pretty good job," he admitted, a small smile on his face.
"You have."
Jaehyun looked at you, mouth a bit open trying to form a response but failing. You couldn't help but glance at his lips, then his neck, and trail your eyes down his body. You were sure he noticed, but he could pick up a hint right? But maybe he couldn't, so maybe you should apply some more pressure.
"For someone who doesn't come to these things often, you look great," you complimented.
"Oh, thank you. You look..great too," he said, nodding his head as he looked away from you.
"Great? That's all I get?"
"Well you look beautiful," he said, trying to change his words.
"So you think I'm beautiful," you teased. You gave him a small laugh seeing how flustered he was. "Well, I think you're very handsome."
Jaehyun watched you intently as you took a step towards him, looking at him with doe eyes. He gulped, not really knowing what to do. He had a feeling you were going to try and do something reckless, and by the time he could say no, he would already have done it.
"You're too kind," he said, shaking his hair from his face.
"Goodness, you're cute. I wanted to keep the flirting to a minimum but I can't help it. You're really something," you said. All that was happening at the moment was a bad case of word vomit, but you really couldn't stop yourself. It'd been a long time since you were this attracted to a person, so you had to let it be known.
Jaehyun gave you a small chuckle looking at you as he licked his lips, brushing his hair back. Jaehyun really didn't know if he should give in to your advances knowing you were probably saying all of this because of how many drinks you had, but after all, he is just a man. "Well, people don't usually find me cute after first meeting me, so you're a first."
"What do they usually say?"
"They say I look like I'm great in bed." Jaehyun eyed you, gaze shifting from pleasant to lustful in less than a second. Your lips curled into a smile as you cocked your head to the side.
"Well..are you?"
"There's only one way to find out." To anyone who might've been looking at the both of you from afar, it looked like you were having a normal conversation. But the tension between you and him was so thick, it would probably startle some people you know. Your presence was so dominating to him, but you liked how he wasn't intimidated by you.
"I didn't think you had it in you. You were so shy and careful a couple of minutes ago. What happened to that," you teased.
"Trust me, I have a lot of things in me you don't know about." His voice was low, sending a shiver down your spine, right to your core. Goodness, he was hot. You're surprised he never got into a love scandal with the way he's talking to you.
"Would it be unprofessional of me to say I would like to find out?" By this point, you were definitely too far gone to back off now. It was a bit unlike you - the woman who kept all her ducks in one row - to fuck someone the night she met them, but Jaehyun was too good to be true. It's rare to come across someone who's exactly your type, so you can't let this go to waste.
"I'd like you to find out," he answered.
You stepped closer, chest in his as you leaned into his ear. "Meet me upstairs in 15 minutes," you whispered and walked away. Jaehyun watched you, the click of your heels getting further and further as you walked back inside.
-
Jaehyun attached his hands to your waist, holding you firmly as you wrapped your arms around his neck. "I hope you don't mind the lipstick," you muttered.
Your lips smashed onto his as you pressed him against the wall, holding his face in your hands. Jaehyun tugged off his suit jacket, throwing it somewhere on the floor beside you. The light was low in the room, the only source of light coming from the moonlight shining through the gigantic window of the empty room. Your lipstick was probably all over his face by now, so there was no way either one of you was coming out of this room unscathed.
He pulled away from you, planting kisses on your neck. He lowered his hands in response, cupping your ass firmly as you moaned softly. You removed your arms from his neck and loosen his tie wanting to see more of him. He inhaled the scent of your perfume, taking in everything about you all at once.
"I want you in my mouth. How does that sound," you asked, eyes closed in pleasure.
"Sounds like heaven." Jaehyun lifted his head, letting go of you as you sunk onto your knees. His eyes never left your hands as you unbuckled his belt, hands moving fast and clumsily. Jaehyun couldn't help but smile. He's been with a lot of women, but no one older. He always felt like older women weren't his type, but here he was about to get blown off by one.
You unzipped his slacks, tugging his neatly tucked shirt out of the fabric. You tugged his clothes down quickly, unable to hide your excitement when you saw his hardened length.
"Fuck," you mumbled. You grabbed his length, stroking it slowly, and bit your lip. Looking up at him, you swore his eyes rolled back from the simple touch. Jaehyun's eyes never left yours as you started to stroke him faster.
You kissed the tip of his length, tongue softly digging into the slit. Jaehyun let out a low grunt, brows furrowing at the sudden feeling. You removed your hand slowly as you sunk his length into your mouth. You bobbed your head, staring into his pretty brown eyes. Your hand gripping the hem of your dress nails sinking into your palms through the thin fabric.
Jaehyun's hand reached the back of your head, following your rhythm. Your cheeks hollowed as you sucked him harder, moaning softly.
"You're so pretty on your knees," he muttered. His eyes were glossed with pleasure, unable to care about the many voices and footsteps that come a little too close to the door. "I bet it'd turn you on even more if someone happens to walk in here."
You whined softly in response. You bobbed your head faster brows furrowing at how full your mouth was. Pleasuring him was turning you on even more, so when you opened your legs and crept your hands under your dress, Jaehyun was in absolute awe. You weren't wearing anything underneath and he could tell how easy it was for you to start fingering yourself. You pumped your fingers in and out of you matching the pace of your bobbing head.
Jaehyun moaned softly, mouth falling slightly as you moved your head faster. His eyes shifted from your face to your hands stuffed between your legs not knowing where to look. You pulled your mouth off of him slowly, droll falling down your chin, the only thing connecting you to him being a string of spit.
"Cum on my chest," you said, voice a bit raspy.
Jaehyun grabbed himself, stroking his length quickly. His soft moans turned into gentle whines. The scene was right out of a movie, him standing over you moaning as you touched yourself on your knees in front of him - so many people would pay to see it. Jaehyun's brows furrowed, throwing his head back feeling closer and closer to his orgasm. "Fuck, oh my god."
And with that, he came all over your chest, the hot sticky liquid staining your skin. Your lips curled into a smile as you bit your lip, still pumping your fingers in and out of your core. You pulled them out of you slowly and came to your knees. You never looked away as you stuck your fingers in his mouth, watching him as he sucked your arousal off your fingers.
"That's so fucking hot," you said, a smirk on your face. "And you even managed to keep my dress clean."
He took your fingers out of his mouth, letting out a soft chuckle. "I don't know if it'll still be clean when I'm finished with you."
"So finish me."
Jaehyun couldn't control himself when he pushed you into the wall and pulled up your tight dress. His lips attached themselves to your neck, leaving wet sloppy kisses all over your skin. "Fuck, you smell so good," he groaned. Jaehyun was in way too deep with you now, his tongue gliding from your neck to your chest.
If you had underwear on, they would probably be soaked by now. You watched him as he licked up his own cum, immediately kissing you right after. You couldn't get enough of the taste of his arousal as you kissed him moaning softly into his mouth.
"Don't wear a condom," you mumbled on his lips.
"Wasn't planning to." Jaehyun lifted your body, pinning you on the wall. You wrapped your arms around him, legs being held by him. You let out a breathy moan feeling yourself sinking into his length.
"Jesus Christ," you moaned quietly. Jaehyun held you with a strong grip on your thighs, so strong you were sure they would leave prints. He rocked his hips into you slowly, every moment bringing out a small groan from him.
"God, you're so big," you whispered, a smile spreading across your face in pleasure.
Jaehyun chuckled softly, kissing your neck. You looked so pretty to him, face lit up by the moonlight moaning his name. Your smile lights up your whole face, too perfect to look away from. He wanted to wipe that smile off your face. He wanted to fuck you so good, you wouldn't even be able to talk.
Your hand tangled in his hair as he fucked you slow against the wall, a small gasp escaping your lips with every thrust. Your lipstick is all over every part it shouldn't be, but that's what made this even better. The thrill of doing something you weren't. As much of a rule follower you were, you've always enjoyed breaking the rules sometimes, even if it was as risky as this. And fortunately for you, this was one rule Jaehyun broke with you.
Jaehyun thrust into you faster, making your body bounce at the same pace. The smile faded, and your jaw dropped at the pleasure that shot through your body. "That's it," he cooed. "It feels good doesn't it?"
"Y-yeah," you moaned out quietly.
"You take me so well baby." The praise made you go crazy, making you nod your head fast. You could barely form a coherent sentence at this point, not when he was fucking you this good. With every movement, your sensitive bud brushed against his skin making your head spin. You leaned in, kissing him deeply, tongues tangling with each other. You clenched around him, making him moan against your lips. "Fuck.."
"I'm so close," you whined against his lips. All that could be heard in the room was the sound of skin slapping and the sound of your soft moans.
"Can you wait for me?"
You shook your head, unable to form a coherent sentence. You looked down at where the both of you were connected, mind unable to focus on anything else. "Jaehyun..fuck I'm so close.."
"You're doing so good," he breathed out. "Just a bit more."
"F-fuck I can't.." You whined loudly feeling your entire body tense up under his touch. You clenched around him as you came, making him moan softly into your neck.
Jaehyun kept fucking into you, feeling himself coming closer and closer to his orgasm. He gripped your hips legs harder as he fucked into you at an unsteady pace. Soon enough, he threw his head back, brows furrowed, biting his lip to keep the loud groan from reaching the ears of the people outside the door as he came inside you. Feeling weak, Jaehyun put you back onto your feet carefully, the sound of breathing and your heels clicking on the floor filling the room. But before you could even register what just happened, Jaehyun disappeared right in front of you, dropping to his knees.
"W-what are you doing," you whispered softly.
"I'm not done." Jaehyun's voice was tired and raspy, sweat dripping down his forehead. He grabbed your leg, throwing it over his shoulder. Jaehyun wasted no time attaching his mouth to your core looking up at you with lust filled eyes. He lapped licked and sucked your clit hard, lapping up the mixture of both of your arousal.
You could barely stand how badly he was abusing your sensitive bud. You leaned against the wall trying to keep your balance as Jaehyun gripped your hips. "Oh my god," you whimpered, breathy moans sounding like music to his ears. Everything was overstimulating you, the feeling of his tongue, the eye contact - the sounds he was making - it was driving you crazy.
"Shit, I'm gonna cum." Your breathing was so loud, you were basically heaving trying to keep yourself from moaning too loud.
"Cum, and keep those pretty eyes on me." Jaehyun moaned as he licked you up, his half opened eyes never leaving you. Your jaw dropped, a gasp that was a little too loud leaving your mouth reaching the ears of someone outside as soon as you came.
"What was that," you heard someone ask.
You clasped your hand over your mouth in an attempt to muffle whatever noises were coming out as he lapped up your arousal. Jaehyun removed your leg from his shoulder, holding you so your weak body wouldn’t fall. You gulped as he removed your hand from your mouth, not knowing what he was about to do next.
"Open up." Jaehyun grabbed your jaw and brushed his finger against your lip. A smirk was plastered on his face as he let a ball of cum and saliva fall from his tongue and onto yours, his smirk becoming wider when you let out a soft whine. "Swallow."
Eyes never leaving your, he watched you so what he said, kissing you right after. He held your face in his hands while kissing you passionately.
"That was..fucking amazing," you mumbled on his lips.
"You were amazing." He moved his hands from your face, moving them directly to your ass. "That was the most fun I've had in ages."
"That was the most fun I've had in my life," you replied, chuckling softly. "I thought you were bluffing when you said you were good."
"Yeah, I might've gotten a bit carried away." Jaehyun's eyes scanned over your body taking in the mess he made of you at the very formal event. "I'm sorry for that," he said, glancing at your cleavage.
"I'm sorry about the lipstick everywhere," you said laughing softly at the red smeared all over his face. "I don't know how we're gonna make it out of here."
"I could always give you my jacket and we can make a run for it," he joked.
You shook your head, wrapping your arms around his neck with a smile. "I think I'd like to stay here for a little bit longer. I hate these events."
Jaehyun kissed you softly, nipping at your lip. "Round 2? I don't think you can keep up with me."
"I'm better at showing you than telling you."
"So show me."

by popular demand (aka the 63 people who voted "yes" in my poll (six months ago oops) for whether or not i should do this)
here's why ofmd is a romcom, beat by beat
Tumblr media
so for the purposes of this analysis, the ten stages outlined in this article are what i'm using for reference.
(and for the sake of everyone's dashes, i've added a cut because This Got Long. like, genuinely, 1.6k and 24 images. you've been warned.)
1. Unfulfilled Desire: something important is missing from the love interests' lives.
before the love interests meet, both of their lives are lacking in some way, often in a way they hardly realize. and this unfulfilled desire doesn't have to be romantic love in and of itself, and quite often it's not. and the things missing from ed and stede's lives are not romantic love. not at first.
what stede's missing is skill and structure. to put it bluntly, he has no idea what the fuck he's doing as a pirate, and without the guidance of someone more experienced, he'd likely get himself and his whole crew killed soon.
Tumblr media
meanwhile, what ed's missing is interest. he's just about as bored with his life as anyone can be. every day is the same, and he needs something new—a new environment, a new challenge—to bring the spark back into his life.
Tumblr media
2. Meet-Cute: the love interests meet, and at first, their personalities clash.
now, granted... in most meet-cutes, one of the protagonists isn't like three-quarters dead and nearly unconscious. but, as we know, ofmd is not like most shows.
Tumblr media
but when we fast forward a bit to their real proper first meeting, we can quickly start to see how their personalities differ. in many meet-cutes, the love interests start off on bad terms, but in ofmd it's more of a contrast than a real clash, as stede and ed take a liking to each other right away.
in their very first conversation, stede is self-conscious and fretting, while ed is relaxed as can be. and as they talk, ed is in awe of stede's eccentricities, and stede is in awe of ed's powerful reputation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and nothing exemplifies their contrast better than what they spend the rest of the episode doing—literally switching clothes and switching roles, getting a taste of what it would be like to be each other.
Tumblr media
3. Happy Together: the love interests spend time together and grow to enjoy each other's company.
the classic honeymoon phase—not necessarily denoting romance yet, just a bond that continues to grow stronger the more time they spend together.
one of their first, biggest bonding events, just a few days after they met, is of course the fancy french party. while the night ends in disaster, the two end up much closer after the experiences they shared.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
however, i think by far the best example of this stage is the montage at the beginning of episode 6, narrated by none other than my favorite (derogatory) terrible little rat man, izzy hands, who will become relevant soon. in romcoms, this stage is often shown through montages, so it only makes sense that that would be a great demonstration of it here as well.
Tumblr media
4. Obstacles Arise: the love interests' original lives and obligations catch back up with them.
it's no longer possible to avoid the hard truths their happiness let them ignore. while both ed and stede go through this, i think stede goes through it differently and at different, non-linear times, so i'll talk about him first.
the pre-edward life that stede has been forcing to the back of his mind is, quite obviously, his wife and children back on land. and he's done a very effective job of ignoring it while he's been around ed.
he was fretting about it before—like in episode 2 with nigel's guilt ghost—but it doesn't seem to fully hit him again until he learns in episode 9 that he'd been declared dead. (in my opinion, the dreams/flashbacks in episode 4 feel less about stede's guilt, specifically, than these other instances do. but even if they are, that's still before he properly met ed.) so he does go through this stage, but it happens in slightly different ways and at different times.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ed, on the other hand, has a very specific and concrete obligation that catches up with him: a promise he made two weeks ago.
Tumblr media
this is where izzy comes in. just as mary is the personified symbol of stede's old life, izzy is the equivalent for ed. whether ed initially intended to follow through on the plan or only said it to placate izzy is up for debate (and my personal take is that it's somewhere in between, but that's a story for another time), but izzy is going to hold him to it regardless.
and when ed can't bring himself to do it, because of both his growing feelings for stede and his trauma around killing people himself, izzy is determined to carry out the act for him.
Tumblr media
5. The Journey: the love interests face and overcome the obstacles together.
what better way to overcome adversity than by getting thumbtacked to a mast by the same Very Angy Little Guy who's the source of the adversity in the first place? with izzy banished, the biggest obstacle to ed and stede's love is out of the way (for now).
Tumblr media
stede still hasn't overcome his big obstacle, of course, but as i said, that happens very non-linearly with regard to the romcom structure.
the two also overcome other minor obstacles, like their bickering during the treasure hunt adventure. the key is that they face what's in their path and settle into a new normal with each other.
Tumblr media
6. New Obstacles: despite solutions seeming effective, more hardships arise.
the next big issue thrown into ed and stede's relationship has a name, and its name is calico jack rackham, my favorite (affectionate) dumpster fire of a man. which makes sense—after all, his sole purpose in meeting up with them was to separate them before the english navy arrived. and he does a damn effective job of it.
Tumblr media
and even once he's gone, they're still faced with chauncey badminton, stede's near-execution, and his and ed's eventual surrender to the english. they may have escaped chauncey's wrath (for now), but they bought it at the cost of their freedom.
Tumblr media
and on top of all of that, now they finally confess their feelings for each other and make plans to run away together, and the choice—really, stede's choice—of whether or not to go through with running off to china looms in the distance. speaking of which…
7. The Choice: the love interests have to decide if the relationship can work.
a turning point is reached, and a decision has to be made. can they go through with it? are they really the best thing for each other?
the choice stede makes here is helped along in no small part by chauncey badminton, whose encounter just solidifies the beliefs stede already held—that he abandoned his family, and that ed is better off without him.
Tumblr media
so stede makes the choice to run.
he goes home to his family, and ed is left to return to the ship alone.
Tumblr media
8. Crisis: the love interests—now apart—ruminate and face the consequences of their choice.
the winter of their discontent. stede has made his choice, they've separated, and they're both worse off for it.
ed is depressed, retreating to his blanket fort and writing sad songs while eating marmalade.
and meanwhile, stede is back with mary and the kids, but learns that they'd all moved on and were much happier without him around. so he's left trying to force himself back into a space where he no longer fits, and all the while he misses ed more than anything.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and of course, ed takes it one step further by going full emo kraken mode. he's so distraught about stede leaving that he too forces himself back into the shell of what people expect of him—of what he was supposed to be before he even met stede—despite not fitting there anymore.
it's obvious that without each other, they're both in pretty rough shape.
Tumblr media
9. Epiphany: one or both of the love interests conclude that they belong together and rush to reunite.
think of this stage as the person running through the airport to reach their love interest before the flight leaves.
in ofmd, it's clear who has the epiphany, because we watch it happen in real time. stede sits down with mary and asks her how it feels to be in love, and while she describes it, all he can think of is his time with ed. he finally realizes that what he's been feeling all along is love.
Tumblr media
once he knows this, he knows he has to leave his family again, so he can reunite with ed. he and mary stage their fuckery, and stede rows off in a dinghy bound for wherever ed is, because he knows that as long as he's with ed, he'll be happy and everything will be okay.
Tumblr media
10. Resolution: the love interests are reunited. desires are fulfilled, and all is well.
sooo… stay tuned for october 5th, i suppose?

------------------------♡☆♡---------------------------
YooYoo; Hey Y/N so the girls and I are free this Saturday so we were wondering if you wanted to go to the club with us?
You; OMG YES! I've missed hanging out with you guys so bad!
YooYoo; Same, Wonwoo's been hogging you T T
You; Yeah and our jobs too
When you got that text from Yoohyeon, your best friend, you felt ecstatic. You've missed her and the other girls too. It's been so long since you all got to hang out together as group, so of course you'd take any chance to hang out with them even in a environment you didn't really enjoy like the club for example. That's why Yoohyeon was the closest to you, she always got you to go out your comfort zone and experience something crazy and unimaginable for you. You loved them all so much.
It reach Saturday and around 5:30pm you started getting ready. You took a nice shower, washed your face, did skincare before doing your makeup. You didn't want to put too much makeup on but appropriate enough for a club. You were watching a video on your phone while doing your makeup to have something to entertain you and distract you from frustration. When you finally finished the frustrating part you finally moved on to base. In the midst of doing your base you felt strong arms wrap around your waist.
"You getting ready for your night with the girls?" Wonwoo asked.
"Yes I am," You smiled widely.
"What you are gonna do while I'm gone?" You asked looking at him from the mirror. Admiring his features.
"I'm gonna do a stream in a minute or so," He answered and kissed your cheek. You put down your makeup sponge and turned to kiss him on the lips softly. It's like you could see the love and admiration in his eyes for you.
"I love you baby," He whispered against your lips before kissing you again.
"I love you too," You smiled.
Some time past and you finally finished your makeup. You could hear Wonwoo talking from his game room so you assumed he's already streaming. You went into your shared bedroom and picked out an outfit to wear. You went with a white corset top that made your boobs look good (and Wonwoo really likes that top), along with some black business pants with Wonwoo's black blazer. You changed into the outfit and then went back into the bathroom to add finishing touches. Suddenly you remembered the last time you went out with just friends a lot of people were hitting on you, and as much as you like the confidence boost it gave you, it also made your night difficult. You also recalled that you had an diamond ring that your mother handed down to you. You went back into the bedroom and looked for it but you couldn't find it. You wondered if Wonwoo knew where it would be. You knocked on the door to the gaming room.
"Come in!" You heard him shout.
"Hey baby sorry to interrupt but have you seen that ring my mother gave me?" You asked while opening the door. You hoped you didn't interrupt.
"Yeah..." His words drifted as he looked at you in surprise.
"Hold on guys," He paused the game and took off his headphones before coming over to you.
"Damn you look sexy," He smirked as he put his hands on your hips.
"Thank you honey," You smiled.
"Now babe I really need that ring," You looked at him sternly.
"Yeah just wait here, talk to the stream if you want," He smiled and pecked your cheek before walking out the room. You walked to his gaming chair and sat down in it. You waved at the camera and saw the chat blow up.
carat_won; Omg they're pretty
wonwoohub; Who are they?
wonwooland; Are they Wonwoo's partner?
xviiwoo; Are you single?
bluerose; Where did Wonwoo go?
That was just a few you could read with the speed of the comments.
"Uh hi, I'm Y/N," You waved with an awkward smile.
"I'm Wonwoo's partner," You added. Luckily, Wonwoo came back into the room in time before you could embarrass yourself. You stood up from the chair and walked over to him.
"Here you go baby," He slid the ring onto your left ring finger. He pecked your cheek before sitting back down in his chair, this time patting his lap for you to sit on, which you did.
"I see you guys met my baby," Wonwoo smiled as he put his headphones on. You knew since dating him he wasn't big on PDA, so this was actually surprising that he is showing you off to his thirty thousand watchers and that you're sitting on his lap in front of them. You like it, it's just a shock.
After a while of chilling on Wonwoo's lap while he played his game with his friends, you got a text from your friend Yoohyeon saying she's here. You told her you'll be there in a minute. Luckily Wonwoo's game was over and he was in the lobby waiting for a new round. You tapped his shoulder as a signal for him to take his headphones off for a minute.
"Baby, Yoo is here, I gotta go," You muttered to him and he nodded.
"Okay honey," He smiled and kissed you softly in front of the camera.
"Have fun," He unhooked his arms from you waist and you stood up.
"I love you Nu," You smiled widely when you opened the door.
"I love you too baby," He smiled at you. You shut the door and went to go put your boots on before walking out the shared apartment.
After a couple of hours passed, your friends except for Yoohyeon, Yubin, and you were drunk but still you didn't want to be the reason the girls had to separate for a minute. So you called Wonwoo asking him to pick you up, you told him the name of the club and he quickly showed up. He saw you outside the club and you spotted him. You got into the car and greeted him.
"Hi baby," You pecked his cheek.
"Hi, did you have fun?" He asked.
"Yeah, minus some guys hitting on me," You blurted. Wonwoo has never really been the jealous type cause he trusts you and knows at the end of the day you come home to him and love him but something about men hitting on you pisses him off still.
We got home to the apartment. He hung up his jacket and the keys along with we kicked your shoes off. Wonwoo followed you into your shared bedroom and hugged you from behind as you took off your makeup. He started peppering kisses down your neck and then your shoulder. His hands went from you waist to cupping your boobs. One hand went to your back to unzip you from your top. He slowly pulled it off of you and then turned you to face him. He started kissing your chest along with your boobs. Wonwoo suddenly stopped leaving you confused that is until you saw him sit on the edge of the bed, waiting for you.
"Come here baby," He called out. You followed his voice and straddled his lap. You grabbed the edges of his shirt and stripped it off of him, revealing his nicely toned figure.
"I think it's only fair we're both shirtless," You grinned before going in to kiss him passionately. You wrapped your arms around his neck as the kiss turned hungry. In between the passion and hunger you started to feel his hands fumble with the button of your pants. You got off of his lap and took off your pants along with your underwear.
"Shit, you're so beautiful," He stood up and kissed your lips softly. He pulled away and took of his sweatpants. He came back to you and kissed you softly once more as his hands caressed your hips. He slipped his arm on your back and the other one on the back of your knees. He picked you up and laid you carefully onto the bed where your legs hung off the edge of the bed. You felt him pick your legs up and rest them on his shoulders. He planted a kiss on your inner thighs, which makes you weak.
He placed a kiss on your clit before licking away. He started licking back and forth, his licking starting slow but he quickly picked up the pace. He started sucking your folds and then without warning added two fingers into your hole, making your back arch as he pumped his fingers in and out of you.
"Wonwoo!" You moaned as you gripped his hair. He hummed as an response, and the vibrations adding more pleasure. He would change from licking to sucking and back to licking making your mind reach the clouds as you came into his mouth. As you were trying to slow your breathing you felt Wonwoo lick you clean before coming to kiss you on your lips. You could taste yourself against him.
When your breathing finally slowed down, he started to kiss down your neck again. His hands squeezing your boobs and then suddenly he latched his mouth onto your left boob and started sucking. His tongue doing circles around your areolas and then he started sucking on your nipple. His other hand playing with your other boob. Oh how he loves your boobs, he loves how soft they are, how squishy they are, he loves how they fit perfectly into his hands when he squeezes them.  He abruptly got up off of you and stripped off his last article of clothing. You felt like you could just moan at the sight of him.
"Won..woo," You choked out. He looked up at you with a caring look.
"What is it baby?" He asked.
"I need you," You whined and he smiled. He got on top of you and kissed you softly. He picked up your leg and you wrapped his waist with your leg. He lined himself up and slowly slid into your hole. The slow filling causing you to slowly moan with him.
"Just relax baby," He groaned. After you adjusted he slowly started thrusting in and out. He's going just the right speed to make sure you're okay and also enjoying the pleasure. His hands holding your waist tight enough to possibly bruise.
"Baby c- oh shit can you go faster," You moaned out. He compiled and started going faster.
"So good to me," He moaned. You bit your bottom lip trying to muffle your loud moans. He moved his hand from your waist to your cheek.
"Let me hear your pretty voice honey," He breathed. You arch your head back and let your pleasure be heard. You started moaning loudly as you felt Wonwoo's hand fall from your face to your boob. You started to feel the coil start tightening with each thrust.
"Wonwoo oh shit," You cursed. You started clenching around his dick, making him groan.
"Wonwoo I'm gonna-" You choked.
"It's okay baby let it out," He whispered. With one more thrust, you let go. You came all over him. He continued thrusting, trying not to overstimulate you. He quickly then came inside of you, he continued thrusting it into you as he rode you two through your highs.
He stopped and just stayed over you. You felt him soften and then he slowly pulled out. You groaned at the lost of being filled. He laid down next to you, and pulled you on top of him. Your head resting against his chest, hearing his heart beat start slowing down to a regular speed. He started drawing invisible lines on your back.
"I love you," He whispered.
"I love you too," You replied tiredly. He picked you up and laid you down on the bed. He got up and went to the bathroom. You heard the sound of water start running.
"Baby let's go get clean," He picked you up and carried you to the bathroom. He slowly placed you into the tub. He followed behind you and sat behind you. Your back pressed against his back.
"You're so good to me," He kissed your cheek before helping you wash your body. After the bath, you got dressed in your underwear and one of his shirts. You were laying in bed, cuddled up to him. You were talking about something until you noticedthe shiny object that was still on your hand.
"Oh I left the ring on," You smiled.
"Your hand looks pretty when it's occupied," He smiled and kissed your cheek. You grinned at him.
"I love you so much," You smiled against his lips and kissed him softly.
"I love you too," He kissed you passionately.

Dottore with some sort of monster darling… I can imagine him coddling some strange creature that was originally meant to just be a test subject, but for whatever reason he becomes enamored with them. Theyre terrified of him of course, but the whispers of praise he gives over their talons and sharp teeth aren’t something they’ve ever received before. He tells them the dark sclera of their eyes are gorgeous, and slowly caresses their horns. He takes samples of their venom to use on his subjects, and if they’re the sort that requires human flesh in their diet, well, he’s got them covered. The irony of the fact that a man like him is the first to touch them with gentleness and affection isn’t lost on them.
THE TIME IS NOW! THE YAN IS THE MONSTER FUCKER THIS TIME AROUND!
I don't know why, but Dottore is one of those characters I had a feeling would be a monster fucker because...c'mon (`∇´) (I'm projecting slightly 👉🏻👈🏻 but hey, I feel like some people would think so too).
Dottore probably didn't see much of you outside of being a test subject for experiments and such. However, as you said, something changed that as he gained these twisted affections for you. It's so odd and foreign to be praised instead of insulted/ridiculed like the rest of humanity did to you. You've witnessed a lot of your kind slaughtered by the hands of humans (who either did it in self defense or for sport).
So being captured instead of killed was the first thing that surprised you. However, it was short-lived after figuring out you were basically a lab rat to this man. There was a bit of fear after learning of the fates of other test subjects... Sometimes you lowkey believed death was much better end than this. And again, you were wary of his intentions when he suddenly started to coddle you. The thought of this man being insane had already crossed your mind but now...You surely believed he was. Dottore sometimes will say how he knows what it's like to be seen as an outcast (but for very different reasons since... Yeah 💀).
I can definitely see Dottore just...feeding you an assistant or subordinates that have either upset/disappointed him if you're a creature that feeds on human flesh. No care in the world, this is for research and to sustain your appetite! Win-win, right?
I'm also going bonkers over how Dottore would also like a darling that used to be human but some stuff happen and your body suddenly becomes a hybrid of some kind. Some form of corruption maybe or idk the environment changed your appearance depending (eg. Being a human/Regisvine hybrid). His reasoning for capturing and keeping you around is more apparent; you're more advanced than the average human being. Something that he has been wanting to achieve is of course to push human capabilities past what is expected, so you're living proof of it being possible. His attention has been caught and he won't let you give that back.
No matter what though, Dottore will keep you where he can always see you. Any of his segments can watch over you while he's gone. I'm sure they'll have fun examining you as well.

Peter & Reader are childhood sweethearts who reconnect again in adulthood? Thank you!
Ahhhh this is adorable!
Tumblr media
-You and Peter were neighbors up until you were 14.
-You were the first to befriend him when he moved in with May and Ben. You always offered to play with him, to show him all the best hiding spots.
-As you two got older, you would 'sneak out' aka go into the backyard to look at the stars.
-And during that summer, something changes. When you held his hand to show him something, a flushed feeling washed over you. You noticed how his face would turn bright red when you caught him staring at you.
-one night, you two were bemoaning that neither of you have had their first kiss yet.
-Which naturally led to you and Peter being each other's first kiss, you know, for practice.
-Except what was supposed to be just one kiss turns into a makeout session under the stars.
-You're devasted when you have to move, as is Peter. There were so many possibilities left that you wanted to explore with him.
-You two stayed in touch consistently at first. Then, as high school started, as you got settled into your new environment, as he got (unknowingly to you) bitten by a radioactive spider, as you both found other people....it just gradually stopped.
-Through your mom, you stayed up to date on important things. You went to Ben's funeral and there you met his friend, Gwen. You saw the way Peter looked at her. And you would be a liar if you said your heart didn't break just a bit.
-Which is why you were hesitant to visit May Parker after you moved back to the city as a young adult. But of course, your mom contacted her and May insisted on seeing you.
-As you fill her in on your life, you learn more about Peter's. How he teaches chemistry at Midtown High, how he'll still occasionally skateboard, how he's single (the look May gives when she mentions that tidbit makes your face warm).
-The sound of keys rustling outside alerts you. May just smiles and suggests "Why don't you go surprise him?" And naturally, you can resist.
-You slowly sneak into the hallway and nearly lose your breath once you see him. A handsome boy now turned into a very handsome man. Peter is ranting to May something about beakers and science experiments as he fishes out some paper from his backpack
-"You always did have a lot going on, huh Pete?" And he stops dead in his tracks because very few, very specific people call him that.
-youre met with the most incredulous look. Peter slowly steps closer to you, as if you're a mirage that'll disappear if he moves too swiftly.
-He whispers your name like it's a question, as if he's not sure. Whether it's because you've changed that much or he just can't believe it's you he's staring at, you're unsure. All you can do is nod your head.
-He repeats your name again, but this time with wonder and nostalgia laced in his voice, a smile adorning his handsome face. The corners of his eyes still crinkle when he smiles.
-"Guess who moved back?" You said, motioning to yourself. You step closer to him, you two are now inches apart.
-Its awkward only for a moment, and then Peter is laughing while he picks you up into a hug and swings you around, just like old times.
-"We.....we should catch up!" He says upon putting you back on the ground.
-"I'd.....I'd love that, Peter."
-Meanwhile, May is watching this all go down from the kitchen, smiling.

Advice: If you find yourself suddenly experiencing new Symptoms, it's important to do some experimenting with your environment to see if there's an external cause before you go assuming there's an internal one.
Related Story: So, recently I've been experiencing really bad neuropathy. It began several weeks ago when my hands started falling asleep while I was sleeping. At first, it wasn't a huge deal bc this is something that has happened to me on and off for years- Im a side sleeper. But then it started getting BAD. Like, I'd wake up multiple times a night to my hand painfully dead, have to shake feeling back in the it and deal with the Tingles for several minutes, roll over to my other side, rinse, repeat.
It has made sleeping very challenging, and then to make matters worse, the neuropathy started happening in the day, too. Drawing, playing video games, even just typing too much on my phone would make my hands start zapping and tingling and falling asleep. I couldn't hold shit. It's very painful, if you've never experienced neuropathy BTW.
I started hitting Google but overall wasn't happy with what I was seeing. All the reasons to develop neuropathy are pretty ugly- I started convincing myself I was diabetic and accept that this might be my quality of life now.
Then I started talking to the people in my life. Upon some chatting with my mom, I discovered that she was also briefly dealing with some neuropathy recently- a few weeks ago, even also convincing herself that she was diabetic until it went away. A little baffled, I asked her what changed and she offered a few possible reasons it stopped.
One of which was that she stopped sleeping with her wedge pillow. The wedge pillow that I recommended to her because I have the same one at home.
I stopped sleeping with the damn thing 3 nights ago and I haven't had a moment of neuropathy since. In fact, I had a "normal" hand falling asleep moment earlier that really put in perspective how painful the repeated nerve damage was. I even reached out to the friend who got me the wedge pillow and he's ALSO started experiencing some neuropathy while he sleeps with his.
So if you're using a wedge pillow and youre a side sleeper or a tossy turner; hey. Keep a careful eye on your body IG

Hello Dot! Congratulations on 1.5k followers. I am very excited for your matchup event! May I have a request for matchup type 1 with Ensemble Stars? I'm sorry if this is a little bit long...
My name is Dawn. I'm an INFP-T girl who likes cute and pretty things. I enjoy drawing and designing costumes. I like listening to music and singing. I'm rather wild if left to my own devices (because I like rock and niche edm), but if someone tells me to sing for them I'd be really shy (lol). I also like sweets, and sometimes I go on walks after school to find cute stores and cafes to visit. I like cute animals too, like cats and dogs and bunnies. I like all colors, but my favourite is pastel colors or bright colors like hot pink and cyan. I figured I crave cuddles and kisses too, even though I never really got a lover to test if I really enjoy these activities.
I dislike loud noises, and I'd get overstimulated and nervous if left for a long time in a noisy environment. I also dislike mean people, or those who act in a threatening behavior in general. I don't hate cold weather, but I get cold really easily and it's quite annoying. I have insomnia and find it hard to sleep and as a resuot I'm quite sleep deprived 😔.
Ummm small story about me, had a rough childhood because my classmates and parents were pretty mean to me, and for a long time I was afraid of being judged and hurt, so I bottled up my feelings and closed myself off. But I realized it would be lonely and sad if I just drown in negative feelings, and that instead I should heal and use my understanding and experience with being hurt to comfort others, and be kind and strong no matter what.
I seek a partner who is gentle, affectionate and loyal. And maybe someone who'd let me draw silly doodles on their hands or notebook (I'm sorry, it's one of the things I must to in my lifetime).
Thank you very much and congratulations again! Have a wonderful day!
(hey Dawn Idk if you're bi/pan, or not, but I genuinely thought this was the perfect match for you. If you want a different one though, let me know! I won't be offended!)
I match you with Arashi Narukami.
Just two cute girls living their cute girl life? Yes! Going to cute cat cafes, buying cute outfits for each other, living their cutesy life? Excellent!
Arashi enjoys making costumes! I can totally see you drawing and designing stuff together, then making them together. She's proud to show off her skills, while at the same time is more than excited that you are so creative!!!! Design matching cute looks for the both of you. She might die. (Or squeeze you to death in the tightest hug you've ever felt)
She's a cuddler. I've decided. She likes to hold you close, and feel your heartbeat against hers. In cold weather she'll do this to keep you warm, but she also just does this when she's noticing your having trouble sleeping. She'll sing new Knights lyrics she's been working on under her breath, and will rub your back, until you, hopefully, drift off.
Arashi's job means the both of you have to go to loud places sometimes. But she's really good at feeling the needs of those around her. So she'll make sure to keep an eye on you. If it looks like it's getting to be too much, she'll make her graceful exit, causing all the fangirls to swoon over your loving knight.
Your dream is to doodle on her notes and her hand? Sweetheart, she's so in! When she has music rehearsals, sometimes they can be long and grueling, especially if the harmonies aren't going exactly as they should. But it makes it easier when she flips the page, and there's a little gift from you. If you guys are in a loud place, and she can't get you out of there, that's when she'll offer a pen and her hand as distraction for the time being. Again, the fangirls are SIMPING.
Your face was pressed to her chest, so that you could hear her heartbeat. She ran her fingers through your hair and absentmindedly hummed a song. Sometimes this would work. Sometimes, her scent, heartbeat, and voice would help you drift off. Today was not "sometimes".
"Rashi?" You looked up and she opened her eyes, as though she was starting to drift off instead.
"Hm?"
"I don't think this is gonna work tonight," you whispered.
She nodded and shifted, like she was going to separate from you. So, naturally, you buried yourself deeper against her.
"Alright," she laughed, "What does my Dawn want to do instead?"
"You're warm," you muttered, making her laugh again.
"I thought this wasn't working?"
"That doesn't mean I want to stop cuddling. It just means I'm not sleeping!"
"Fair point. Do you just want to chat then? Or…"
She pulled out the pen she always keeps on hand, and gave it to you before brandishing the back of her hand.
"My perfect knight," you laughed, beginning to doodle.
"Don't forget it," she teased

Now that Season 1 of The Last of Us has come to a conclusion, I feel like I can safely explore the nuances of the adaptation in the context of my experiences playing the game. The last several episodes I made some spoiler-free observations, but this will definitely contain spoilers, so consider yourself warned. It's also not short - so secondary warning for length. Overall, I felt the show captured the heart of the game - Joel and Ellie's story - beautifully.
In the video game, you spend a lot of time battling both cordyceps and human adversaries. It's violent, it's gory and you spend a lot of time sneaking around as quietly as possible to avoid being torn apart by infected or shot by raiders. Or FEDRA. Or cannibals. There's also a lot of resource scarcity in the game - you've got to work to survive. This is a tremendously hostile world. The only places where you could let your guard down from infected were Jackson and the Lakeside Resort proper. All these encounters make for great game play, but would begin to feel redundant and potentially gratuitous if they served as a greater proportion of the episodes. That being said, I do wish there'd been just a little more time granted to encounters with the infected, especially since the airborne spore vector had been eliminated as an infection source. This made sense from a television perspective: it resulted in a lot of time for Joel in a facemask during the game and well, there's another series out there requiring Pedro Pascal to keep his face covered nearly all the time. (I'm not saying that's the only reason for making that change but…) But the more limited encounters with the infected to me felt like it diminished the overarching threat cordyceps presented when compared to the game. That being said, it did not impact my overall enjoyment of the series.
The season structure followed fairly closely to the chapters of the game. There were a couple more chapters to the game than episodes, but like book chapters the game chapters were not necessarily the same length. The series gave some more insights into the world of The Last of Us. A world beyond the settings in which Joel and Ellie existed: the interview at the beginning of the first episode, the foray into Indonesia at the beginning of the outbreak amongst many other points of view that belonged to neither protagonist. They served not only as drivers of the narrative, but to also provide a greater context for the story setting. They could have chosen to keep the narrative very tightly focused on Joel and Ellie but in bringing these other views, these other insights to bear it intensified the consequence of their journey. It made the world lived-in. The game was tremendously desolate. Outside of the human antagonists, there's only a small handful of other people Ellie and Joel interact with once you get out of the QZ. You pick up notes, news articles along the way that tell the stories of the people who are gone. Stories of survival, hope, despair. Insights into FEDRA, the Fireflies… those are all picked up environmentally and unless you took the time to really explore the environments, you may miss those story details. The series adaptation provided those details in the time spent away from the protagonists.
Bill and Frank's story was quite different from the game. In the game, Bill was alive, Frank was dead and their relationship was not explicitly defined. The show transformed that story and allowed the tale of Bill and Frank to stand in for all those letters you picked up along the way: stories of loved ones trying to reunite, stories of how small pockets of people tried to survive, stories of hope. While Joel and Ellie interacted with Bill in a different way in the show, the end result was the same: they were provisioned for the next leg of their journey and they learned a couple things about one another.
Joel and Ellie's relationship followed essentially the same trajectory in the game vs. the show. And I loved some of the elements from the game they threw in. The occasional "pay attention" chime in the background. The "boost" scene in the last episode was a key mechanic throughout the game.
Then there were the cameos of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson. After playing the game and listening to Troy's voice as Joel for so many hours, hearing that voice as David's right-hand man was downright chilling. Hearing Ellie's voice as her mother was a beautiful way to connect her to a story we didn't see in the game. The source of Ellie's immunity was a mystery in The Last of Us Part I. I don't know if her mother's story was ever revealed in any of the DLC like Riley's story so I can't fully comment on that aspect.
I was so happy to see the giraffes (we won't talk about how they manage to survive Salt Lake City winters - I don't recall that being addressed in the game, either) but it was such a pure moment. A last breath of innocence before the final act.
Throughout the game, you alternate between playing Joel and Ellie. You don't get to choose who you play and when, so you can't avoid things like Joel becoming incapacitated during the encounter at the University or Ellie nearly becoming an unwilling child bride of a cannibal zealot. (And that scene was just as uncomfortable during game play.) During the last act of the show, we're obviously in Joel's shoes as it is in the game. Again, this is not a section of the game where you have a choice - a decision. You can't choose not to shoot the surgeon. You can't choose to allow Ellie to die in hopes the sacrifice will save the world. It's uncomfortable like a number of choices you have to make in the game and that's not a bad thing.
The final confrontation between Joel and Marlene was very similar between the game and the show. And it touches on the biggest crime both adults commit against Ellie: neither asks her what she wants from fear of what her answer may be. Marlene fears her saying no - that Ellie won't die for the sake of saving humanity. Joel fears her saying yes. The remainder of the episode is essentially on parity with the game - the visuals, the conversations there was very little deviation.
Ultimately, I believe the show was an enormously faithful adaptation of the game. In the elements that were most central to the themes of the game, the story was very similar - sometimes almost verbatim. In the elements where differences in media would make translation difficult they devised creative ways to provide similar foundations. Whether on TV or in a video game, Joel and Ellie's story of two damaged people learning to trust and love in a broken world is a remarkable one.

Just Another Night At The Church
Tumblr media
The cold breeze of the wind mixed with the rain droplets and a few blusters of cars along the highway indicated that it was already evening. It's eight o'clock to be exact and Cyrus just got off from work, he is very tired but he didn't want to go home yet because he doesn't like the environment of his household. He decided to head towards the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish along Rizal Avenue for some meditation and life contemplation. Along the way, he saw a little girl who looks like a beggar on the sidewalk. He decided to give her one hundred pesos because it was the only money left in his pockets. The girl then smiled and thanked him. Cyrus asked for the name of the little girl in which she replied, "Angel".
When he arrived, he saw the flares of the lighted candles along the altar rails with its comforting warmth near the enormous gate at the entrance of the church, a familiar sight, he thought. As he entered, he noticed that there were no people around other than him and the two nuns praying with the rosary, they were at the Sorrowful Mysteries because it was Friday. He approaches them and does the mano. Afterward, Cyrus goes to the center aisle of the church and bows on the altar. He proceeded to kneel over one of the kneelers or prie-dieu as others have called it and started praying.
Cyrus is a gay individual who doesn't have a stable job and lives in a broken family with his father. Tonight marks his seventh consecutive visit to the church and today is his birthday. Each night he has come praying for a better life and future. He wanted to leave this sorrowful place as he sees it and experience some peaceful and joyful junctures. He is tired of everything that's happening in his life and wanted to rest for eternity.
While praying, he saw a statue of an angel at the altar move. The candles were abruptly blown even if there was no wind. It was complete silence. The nuns were gone and the doors are shut. Cyrus was frightened and tried to move but he couldn't, he tried to speak but he couldn't talk. The statue looks at him with its glowing white eyes, its large wings spreading, and its wooden body clacking as it moves toward Cyrus. The statue said with its profound voice, "Do not be afraid". Cyrus was speechless and blown away by what he was witnessing and hearing, he tried to calm himself and softly spoke, "Is this real?". The angel statue replied, "Cyrus, your father is listening". Cyrus sobbed and thought that maybe he was dead and hallucinating. "I know you've been through a lot but you need to be patient in life Cyrus because things will get better, tomorrow will be better. It might be stormy now, but it never rains forever.", the statue added. "I can't take it! I am very tired and burnout over everything. I've been beaten up and abused by my father many times and was bullied and discriminated against since I was in school until now, I couldn't endure more of this, please take me", Cyrus begged, his eyes and hands are red for crying and clasping too hard. "Cyrus, be brave and don't give up, this is but a chapter of your life, promising days are coming because your story doesn't end here.", the statue replied. Cyrus is still crying, not knowing what to think or feel, his mind is full of negative thinking, a train of unfavorable thoughts. He couldn't see anything but darkness, and for a second there was peace, he thought. Cyrus suddenly passed out.
Minutes later, he was awakened by the two nuns who offers him water. They tightly embraces him and said that they saw him crying whilst praying then shortly fainted. Cyrus explained that he is fine and was just tired of work. The two nuns invited him for dinner at the convent near the church, and he happily accepted it and goes with the nuns. As they were heading towards the convent they were greeted by the priest at the sacristy and they lit some candles at the altar rails near the gates of the church. The priest says that he has observed how Cyrus keeps coming back to the church every day. And so he asked for him to serve the church which Cyrus sincerely acknowledge and said to think about.
After dinner, Cyrus bid his farewell. As he was walking along the streets, underneath a thousand stars, he was surprised by the little girl who approaches him and gave her a small cupcake filled with white icing and brown chocolates. It was the same girl to whom he have given his one hundred pesos. After giving the cupcake the little girl ran away then shouted, "Happy Birthday!". Cyrus smiled and thanked her. He looked at the cross on the top of the roof of the old cathedral that could be seen a mile away. "I'll be back tomorrow", Cyrus said.

Rey of Sunshine
Tumblr media
Hello?
I know you wondered how I got this picture of you, well it's clearly me stalking your Facebook account on some days it stumble to remind me of you, your existence. Apparently, you won't be able to see this anymore, and I'm so regretful that I missed the chance to reconnect with you when we're fully grown adults as we promised we would, it's just that life somehow keeps you forget about people, connections, and me thinking about more reasons.
You know what? one day, I was longing for people that can validate my existence for a reason and I thought of you, you knew me and I knew you, and to reach out after years of haven't talking much I know it's weird. And maybe for that same reason, the universe let me know about your passing, unexpectedly. And sorry, I missed the news you left this earth so young and thriving, I'm so sorry, I could've been one of many who could let the world know how great of a person you are. But I'm happy still many people did, I saw their posts and they are all celebrating your existence, Rey.
Do you remember how you write me letters when we're first year in high school? Gosh, I should've kept it all so I could brag about that one person that has seen good in me on those days, but my father won't let me, maybe he's also in denial that at a very young age, someone would take interest on me, especially a boy, haha a handsome boy. A boy whose handkerchief shy away his imperfections on a crowd when talking , someone who writes really nice letters to a nobody he met on a school beautification program on a weekend. I felt ecstatic that time, we agreed to date when we never really understand what it means to be in one. I guess you got your shot because of the letters you wrote me, those tiny little drawings you sent me telling me how you see me as a wonderful person.
Really, Rey, you build my confidence. I may broke yours that time. I had you running around the cafeteria, up and down to our building, just to talk to me or hand me your letters until your very last letter- you manage to ask my classmates to gave it to me after all. I was so ashamed that a nobody like me has someone like you waiting on our classroom door to experience all the good and the bad things in high school willingly. I was young, and you making me feel like I can pass someone's standard when I clearly doesn't see it like that, I wanted more. I wanted more than a shy boy writing letters about his life and fears, I burned bridges I supposedly not to.
Remember that 3rd year high school summer, when you sent me a message on Facebook? telling me you remembered me and maybe can be someone to listen still about your fears? we're clearly miles away from each other but you were able to remind me that I was once a good listener and you needed me to be that person again that time. We had a great talk. You told me you were struggling about your preferences and your school was outing you in a manner you're not consenting? talks, haughty antics, all of it were bothering you right? I'm sorry I can't empathize more than you need it. You told me you were now classmates with my former classmates and asked me that if somehow I was bothered that I dated you for a short time, even though you're "you" that they assumed about, I clearly not. Now, I even boast to my friends, that I knew you, that I'm grateful you were my very first boyfriend. And how colorful it is to be loved by a colorful person, I just hoped that years after that, you were able to accept yourself and how awesome you are to deserve all the happiness in the world. Well, I see you were, but I just wished you lived it longer.
You're not just the soft boy people mostly knew you were, you're a strong man of dreams trying to break a cycle of fears that society instilled in your mind and the environment you're in. Rey, your life may be short, but those moments we shared, you've guided a woman to be with confidence and shakes away her insecurities.
When I knew you were working on the same company I am with, I remember trying to always peek in a crowd I might be able to see you, luck didn't get in my way. I just want you to know that I never forget you, you're a friend I always wish I still have, and though we promised to somehow meet when we're adults, I'm sorry I am too late.
I am sorry I didn't write back on those letters as well, you meant to make me feel loved. I'm thankful. I hope the heavens sends you this back, that I remember your existence and I always will.
You're a ray of sunshine to someone, Rey. You are. In loving memories.

tw: brief talk of physically abusive and neglectful environment, dehumanization, someone else's delusion(s), maybe ableism?
Looking for: advice, information, resources, input(?)
Hi, this is probably one of the weirder asks you'll get, but I was wondering if you have any information about not feeling human? I don't mean this in a "I don't believe I deserve to be considered human" sort of way, I mean that I just.. I don't know how to human, it doesn't come naturally to me, and what does come naturally to me is not acting like a person if that makes sense?
For some background information: until I was around 4 I was being raised as an animal. I wasn't taught language or how to play or whatever kids typically learn in that time period. I was kept with a cat or two, not given clothes, punished if I made too much noise, etc etc. Feeding was either whatever they threw on the ground or they'd pin/tie me down to force feed me.
I won't go into any more detail because there's a LOT but after that I was raised in a household that at least expected me to act human (though they... the woman who ended up raising me post-original household believes I'm an alien and does what she can to limit my experiences with other humans and typical life experiences because she believes it will help keep me "pure"). Growing up I spent majority of my time in a forest alone because I couldn't hang out with other kids (not that they wanted to be friends with me).
Anyways even though I know better, the only way I really feel comfortable in my body is when I don't act like a proper human. I have to force myself to walk and move properly and even to this day talking hurts my throat. I have dreams about just being some creature in a vast forest and (something I don't like to share because it's not good) dreams of killing things with my hands and teeth and eating that.
Moving around on all fours (not hands and knees though) and climbing and all that is how I my body naturally wants to exist. My ears move according to sound, my sense of smell and hearing are stronger than average, and I've gotten comments of people asking me if I've done parkour (though I have never done so) when I feel safe enough to climb around and stuff.
I've never felt human and the idea of living the rest of my life as such just makes me feel so.. empty. I've always felt like humans are a different species to me, and I know that's probably due to a lot of my oddly specific trauma and how I was raised. I also have brain damage (it wasn't checked up on though so I don't have much info about it) and C-PTSD and I sometimes wonder if I'm autistic.
Do you have any resources or tips for this? I want to feel more like a real person but my dreams and wants in life is barely more than having a safe place to stay and food to eat (<- I've eaten... more raw meat than I should. I don't do it on purpose though! I've been buying dried meats to help curve the whole raw meat thing) and things like that. If I could be someone's house pet I'd be satisfied with that life, though I wish I was joking.
It's got nothing to do with kinks or whatever (though I am not judging people for that), I'm aroace and have never felt any sexual in my life. I just feel more comfortable when treated like an animal and being around animals than I ever have around humans. Thought I've spent years trying to fix myself, my brain still does humans==danger -_-
Hi anon,
I'm so sorry about what you've been through.
Your ask is quite similar to this one I answered.
I admit I was trying to help find resources but wasn't sure what to look for. I was searching for dehumanization but none of the resources that popped up seemed fitting. And then of course there's the whole feral child discussion, but it doesn't feel like such a term is respectful.
Take my thoughts with a generous grain of salt because I am not a professional and have little experience with situations like this. But based on the way that I am processing this, I would say that it's worth exploring whether or not these behaviors are something you should continue doing. Because I think to a degree, society is very rigid and ignorant to situations like these where it makes sense why you behave the way you do, and will instead cast judgment and discrimination on you without consideration or closer examination. So to a degree, perhaps it's partly society's problem that they fail to understand or respect the way you were simply raised to live. Besides eating raw meat, it sounds like behaving naturally for you may not be that harmful. I think it's okay if your dreams and wants in life are really just to have a safe place to live and eat. I think it's okay to want to be a kind of house pet. There are ways in which that could work functionally and healthily.
But at the same time I'm not sure if these are healthy to engage in, and whether embracing more human expectations is possible given what you have learned on a fundamental level. I'm not sure if "acting human" would benefit you or not. Mainly, I just am trying to think of why you should not engage in these animalistic behaviors that come naturally to you, what harm it's doing, and the only thing I can really think of is that society expects you to be something different, which as an autistic person I don't see as a legitimate reason. But I could be entirely missing other factors.
I think that ultimately this is something to talk about with a mental health professional such as a therapist. There is really only so much that I as a non-professional volunteer can say or do, and especially with things that have shaped you in your formative years, that can take a more expert approach. I believe that you deserve the best care available, and so if therapy is accessible or affordable for you, and if you don't have it already, it may be a helpful way to process these experiences and learn whether you should embrace these animalistic tendencies or conform to human expectations.
If anyone else has any comments or suggestions, please feel free to add on. Otherwise, I hope I could help, and please let us know if you need anything.

The Smart Student's Guide to Picking the Right BSC College in Jaipur
You've got your academic future in your hands, and that includes the moment you decide to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Jaipur. But with so many great options out there, how do you make the right choice?
The answer is not easy, but we can make it a whole lot simpler. To choose the best college for you, use this comprehensive guide to consider several aspects of prospective institutions—from their accreditations and curriculum to location, faculty, environment and cost. Weigh each factor carefully against your specific criteria for success so that you can settle on the BSC College that fits you best.
So without further ado, let’s dive into what separates a great college from an excellent one...
Evaluating the Course Curriculum
When deciding which BSC college in Jaipur is right for you, the first and likely the most important factor to consider is the college's course curriculum. It's important that you look closely at the courses that you will be required to take and make sure they're in line with your interests and career goals.
It also pays to take a close look at the specific topics that are covered within each course. For example, if you're interested in learning about advanced computer programming, you should make sure that the course curriculum includes comprehensive coverage of this topic. Furthermore, be sure to read up on any extracurricular activities available at the college—such as seminars and workshops—that can help you to build your skills further.
Finally, consider what internship opportunities are offered by each college's career services office. While internships are not required, they offer invaluable exposure to some of the top employers in Jaipur and can often provide useful connections that may come in handy after graduation.
Comparing College Facilities
Making an informed decision can be difficult, so you need to compare college facilities to decide which one best suits your needs. Firstly, you should look at the courses that the colleges offer. Every college will likely have its own niche, such as offering a broad range of industry-related courses or focusing on more traditional academic subjects. Consider what type of field you would like to go into and find a college in Jaipur that provides relevant courses for it.
It's also important to consider the extracurricular activities that each college offers. Most colleges will be able to provide these, but it's important to know what type of activities are available, such as sports teams and societies, as this can help you find the right cultural fit for your studies.
Finally, think about the location of the college and what kind of student lifestyle it provides. Some colleges may offer better facilities in terms of accommodation and leisure activities than others. Do some research into places nearby and make sure they align with your expectations so that your overall college experience is enjoyable.
Researching College Reputation
Researching a college's reputation is one of the most important steps in choosing the right BSC colleges in Jaipur. Knowing what other students have to say about their experience at the school will give you insight into the quality of education being offered.
Online reviews
It's always a good idea to start by taking a look at online reviews, such as those on Google Maps and other review platforms. Take note of what people are saying and how they rate their experience with the college.
Ask around
Once you've read some online reviews, it's time to do some more digging and ask people around you, such as friends, family, and colleagues who've attended or know someone who has attended the college. Hearing first-hand accounts of their experiences can be incredibly helpful in determining whether or not this is the right college for you.
College websites and social media pages
Once you've narrowed down your choices, it's time to dig into each school’s website and social media pages. This will give you a good idea of what programming they have on offer, initiatives they’ve undertaken to improve their academics, and any other relevant information that can help inform your decision. Pay attention to their core values, mission statements, faculty bios and student success stories—all of these are great indicators of how well a college is doing.
Exploring Financial Aid Options
If you're a smart student, then you know that financial aid is an important part of your college decision-making process. When it comes to BSC colleges in Jaipur, there are a range of options available to you. Here's what to keep in mind:
Scholarships
Many BSC colleges in Jaipur offer scholarships to students of merit. These can cover anything from tuition costs to living expenses, so make sure to explore all the options available to you.
Loan Programs
Some BSC colleges in Jaipur offer loan programs for students who may not be eligible for traditional student loans. Look into the terms and conditions these programs have and make sure that you understand what repayment options are available and the interest rates charged.
Part-time Jobs
Some BSC colleges in Jaipur may have part-time jobs available that can help supplement your income while studying. Research job opportunities on-campus or near-by, as well as online job portals, like Upwork or Fiverr, that offer freelance gig opportunities.
Do your research when it comes to financial aid options for BSC colleges in Jaipur—it'll ensure you get the best deal possible for your studies!
Connecting With Alumni & Faculty
If you're trying to decide which BSC college in Jaipur is right for you, connecting with alumni and faculty at the college can be one of the most helpful tools. Talking to alumni who have been through a program will give you great insights into things like the curriculum and the environment of the college.
Alumni can also provide perspective on what they liked and disliked about their experiences, and help answer any questions you may have about courses, extracurricular activities, and more. And speaking with faculty members can be an invaluable way to get an even deeper understanding of the school's academic offerings, such as research opportunities or specializations within a given program.
Here are some tips for connecting with alumni & faculty:
Look up contact information online or contact current students in your program at that school—they may know alumni who would be willing to talk
Schedule informational interviews in person or over Skype/phone with people who have attended the school
Ask questions about their experience—you'll want to determine if they had a positive experience at that BSC college
Reach out via email or social media to faculty members who teach classes in your desired field of study
See if there's an online forum where students, alumni, and faculty discuss topics related to your area of interest
Follow relevant hashtags on Twitter to get a feel for the conversations about your chosen college
Taking a Campus Tour
If you're still on the fence about your college choice, it's a good idea to take a campus tour. Visiting college campuses can be a great way to get a first-hand look at what the school has to offer and decide if it's the right fit for you.
During your campus tour, there are some important things you should pay attention to:
Facilities
Take some time to explore the school’s facilities and see which ones will be most beneficial for you. Are there enough laboratories, libraries and other resources available? Are they well-maintained and up-to-date? Are there additional facilities like sports fields or student organizations that are important for you?
Curriculum
Have a chat with the faculty members and ask questions related to the courses offered in the college and their approach to teaching. It's also important to know how they plan on providing students with industry exposure and other resources that could help in your career growth.
Infrastructure
Take some time to explore the infrastructure of the college. Are there enough classrooms, study spaces, cafeteria, etc. How up-to-date is their technology? Do they have internet access throughout the campus? These are all important considerations when picking a BSC college in Jaipur.

A Complete Guide To Professional Landscaping
Landscaping is a great way to get the most out of your yard and have a beautiful space to enjoy with friends and family. It's also a good way to make sure that you're using your time, money, and energy on something worthwhile. But with all the options out there, from trees to shrubs to grasses to flowers—not to mention all the different ways they can be integrated into an appealing design—how do you know which ones are right for your needs? We've compiled this list of tips based on years of experience working in landscape design:
Tumblr media
Examine your yard.
While you're waiting for the professionals to arrive, take a look at your yard. How's the shape? Is it large or small? Does it have straight edges or curves? How much sunlight does it get—and how much shade? How much water do you need to keep everything in check? If there are any plants or trees that need to be removed from the design, take note of that as well.
Compare materials.
When choosing materials for your landscaping, there are many factors to consider. For example, you should compare the cost of each material and its longevity. You'll also want to consider how much time it takes to install or remove the material. Finally, take into account whether or not the material will have an impact on the environment or your health.
For example, if you're looking at different types of concrete pavers that are available on Amazon (which can be found here), you may notice some concrete pavers are cheaper than others because they have fewer stones per square foot and less cement used in their production process. In this case, you might opt for a less expensive option because it is more affordable over time and it will still give off an elegant look in your backyard without breaking the bank!
Invest in a good lawn mower.
Now that you've got a good lawn mower, it's time to get down to business. Your next task is to get the grass cut. Most people don't think about this step because they know how easy it is. It's not rocket science, after all!
But if you want your landscape design project to look its best, then you'll want the lawn mowing done by a professional landscaper who has experience with different kinds of lawns and knows how much care each type requires.
Don't be afraid to spend money on big equipment.
If you want to get the job done right, don't be afraid to spend some cash. If you buy cheap equipment, it won't last as long and will probably break down more often than not. Plus, if you buy quality pieces of equipment that are made by established companies with a reputation for excellence in their products, they'll start paying themselves off immediately by saving you time and energy on your landscaping projects.
Find the right garden tools for you.
There are many different tools to choose from when landscaping, but it's important to choose the right one for the job. If you have a large lawn that needs aerating, a spike aerator can help. But if you're trying to get rid of weeds in your garden beds, try using a combination of weed killer and hand tools instead.
When choosing your gardening tools, look at the handle first—make sure it feels comfortable in your hands so that you can hold them for extended periods of time without tiring out too quickly. Next, check out how sharp or dull each blade is; this will determine how easy (or difficult) it is for you to use them effectively! Finally make sure everything fits together perfectly—you don't want any weak links between parts causing problems later on down the line when using them properly."
Test your soil.
Before you fertilize your soil, you must test it. You can do this yourself or hire a professional to do it for you. The first step is to dig a hole in the ground and take a sample of soil from 5-6 inches down. Send this sample away for testing, which will tell you whether your soil needs to be amended with fertilizer and what type of amendment is needed (if any). It's best to test at least every two years—but don't forget! If there's anything that can go wrong with landscaping projects (and there's plenty!), it'll probably happen when money is on the line—and that's exactly when you need accurate information about what kind of resources should be allocated where
Learn how to read and use fertilizer directions properly.
Fertilizer is a chemical, and like any chemical it can have unintended consequences if used improperly. Though you may be tempted to “feed” your plants more than directed, or even use fertilizer in winter (which can actually kill plants), following the directions on the label will go a long way towards ensuring that your garden thrives.

I Am Gay
Identity Paper of Jessie Sambulao, Jr.
If the rainbow or the word fabulous didn't do it for you, I'll confirm it: I'm homosexual. Have you heard the expression "straight as an arrow"? If I were that arrow, I'd be bent in strange ways, on fire, and if I were shot, I'd leave a rainbow trail behind me. So, yes, I'm extremely gay. But coming to terms with the fact that I was gay was perhaps the most difficult thing I've ever done. I mean, when I was younger, I had no idea what it was called. I come from a very selectively religious family, and being gay was one of the things they chose to despise.
I grew up in Sitio Salkan Brgy Paraiso, which was itself a coming-out of-the closet, albeit a heavily fortified and for a long time impenetrable one when it comes to acceptance of LGBT people. Growing up homosexual is not the same as growing up straight; your sexuality defines you in a more profound sense. Because straight is "normal," it is what you see every day: your parents, people on TV, your teachers, and the vast majority of people around you. Growing up homosexual, on the other hand, begins with a small seed, a feeling you don't understand and an attraction to the same sex you thought was natural at first. Soon, however, you realize the significance and actuality of this attraction—that being gay is something to be ashamed of and, from a religious standpoint, something to be condemned. And, from the moment you realize what you've been hiding, this awareness and what you've been hiding begin to define, and even take over, your entire being.
Now that you've got some context, let me get started.
I'm not sure when it began, but I've had several major epiphanies concerning my sexuality. I used to wonder what the word "homosexuality" meant when I was in elementary school. My family was continually telling me how horrible it was to be that way. So I went to Google and looked up the term, which brought me to a website that described it to me. I realized that the more I read, the less I understood. Because my English reading skills and vocabulary were limited, I couldn't grasp some of the words. I knew I was gay from a young age, maybe around the age of 5 or 6, if not earlier, even though I didn't know the term. I was also acutely aware that being gay was equated with being a prostitute or immoral by many people. Because I had no gay role models and had never met a gay person, it was also evident to me that being gay solely meant sex; it had nothing to do with love.
My experience was many years ago, and while much has changed in the world, not much has changed for many young people attempting to figure out who they are. Many adults assume that all children are heterosexual; for many parents, the prospect of their child turning to them one day and saying, "Mom, Dad, I'm homosexual," is horrifying. This could be the most difficult thing a young person will ever have to say, and it has devastating ramifications for many. Some gay kids are fortunate enough to have parents who love and support them as they come out of the closet, but for others, it's a huge risk, as they wonder what their parents will think. Will they still be in love with me? I wish I could be more normal.
I knew I was different as a kid, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Soccer, Power Rangers, and girls were all popular among my male classmates. I didn't think so. I was aware
I was aware of my attraction to other boys at a young age but did not act on it until I was an adult. Growing up in a religious environment, I was often confronted with images, words, and facts that contradicted my own feelings. This was perplexing, and it made me feel as though expressing what I felt was a significant risk. I was left out and made fun of because I couldn't relate to other boys. I was made to feel insignificant. I had no friends, so I went to my professors and other adults for understanding and acceptance. Unfortunately, I found them to be bigoted, unsupportive, and unwilling to see me for who I am. I had become accustomed to being alone.
My self-esteem suffered as a result of not having anyone to confide in. I am always criticizing myself. Because others didn't see my worth, I assumed I didn't have any. My mind was filled with dark thoughts. I started treating myself with the same disrespect, discouragement, indifference, and carelessness that others did to me. Nobody cared how I was feeling, how I was doing, that I needed assistance, and that my birthday was forgotten. The fear of living in sin consumed me on a daily basis. I yearned for nights when I wasn't forced to cry myself to sleep. I yearned for love that wasn't constrained by my sexual orientation. Even if I couldn't figure out what it was, I knew I was here for a reason. I knew I needed to shake the feeling of futility that had taken hold of me. In an attempt to distract my thoughts from the dismal reality of my existence, I began to devote all of my time to studying or working. I had a feeling there would be a break in the clouds. I believed that God had a bigger plan for me and that I was on this planet to better the world. But I had no idea why I was made in this manner or what I could do about it.
As I examined these ideas, I realized that the world was filled with hatred—the same hatred that had been hurled at me, as well as the self-loathing that had resulted as a result. I made it my job to make sure that no other child had to go through what I had gone through. I believe I was subjected to such suffering because I was capable of overcoming it and assisting others in doing so. Rather than being bitter, I decided to live a kind life. It was necessary for me to accept and love myself. It was necessary for me to break free. I was able to accomplish those things when I came out to myself, and my life became easier and more joyful as a result. I started to appreciate myself for who I was and could become. When I finally worked up the nerve to tell my friends, I discovered that it didn't make a difference to most of them. True friends accept and love you for who you are.
I realized I had been attempting to fit into the stereotype that society had fashioned for me—the middle-class white male who excelled in school and profession and finally met, married, and began a family with the lady of his dreams. This, on the other hand, was not what I had hoped for. Trying to live up to these expectations made me reconsider every decision I made, every word I spoke, and every reality I accepted or communicated. I realized that my journey was about un-becoming everything that wasn't truly me in order to become who I was destined to be. When I started to understand myself and why I wanted to improve the world, I realized that I didn't have to fit society's mold; I could make my own. I could destroy the shell that encircled me, constricted me, and prevented my wings from spreading.
Though this understanding was reassuring, it forced me to make a difficult choice: to keep living a lie and living in dread, or come out of the closet. Taking everything that had provided me with "comfort" for so long and destroying it was as stressful as living the lie. Finally, I determined that accepting my sexuality was more important and conducive to eliminating hatred from the world and making it a better place to live. I could breathe more readily right away. I no longer had to second-guess what I said; I could live in complete honesty. As a result, I formed new friendships with people who accepted and loved me for who I was. These new acquaintances were concerned for my well-being. They were concerned enough to inquire whether I needed assistance, and they were concerned enough to gather to celebrate my birthday. I might be able to feel loved and be free for the first time in my life. Finally, I'd be able to sleep soundly. I was now living all of the things I had once wished for.

MATCHUP FOR:
@doctorfruitbowl
I'm she/her and bisexual. What closest people to me would say about me first is that I'm a dreamer, idealist and intelligent. I am also quite shy, I like helping others and I enjoy creative outlets. I paint, draw and write (poetry and fiction). Nature is also very near and dear to me, having grown up quite literally in the middle of the forest in a small farm. I love walking in the forest, swimming in the lake, picking berries, I just love nature. I have always been quite the stereotypical good girl. I always wanted to and still want to be perfect, but what I always have had is the need to stay true to myself. I didn't fit in most of my youth, but I always sticked to being who I truly am and that is something I am proud of. I was bullied for my whole school experience till the end of high school because I didn't fit in. I actually only got my first true friend in high school. I have strong sense of curiosity and I am an adventurer. I thrive to see, experience and learn more of the universe and life. I'm an INFJ, 4w5. Currently in med school. I'm 5'5, I have a small frame for someone my height, I wear glasses, I have thick dark brown hair down to my bum and brown(almost black) eyes.
Reminder: matchups are now closed!

Frederick "Moose" Heyliger

Ship dynamic:
Popular Boy x Shy Girl™
Quote:
«You're not like the people from my past times, but I think I could get used to it.»
Moose is pretty down-to-earth guy, which makes him quite popular and likeable. He moves in big circles and therefore knows a lot of people, but he knows no one like you.
Bet he doesn't notice you at first. Too many people, too much noise, not enough space for you to get a single word into a conversation with him.
It's not as if you move in the same social circles anyway, so it makes it twice as hard to interact with each other.
It probably comes down to a strike of luck in which the stars align and the universe decides it's time for you two to meet.
Or maybe it's just that Moose missed dinner and you happened to be in the mess hall when he drops by to get his hands on something to placate his hunger.
Call it fate, call it food. Point is, he finally gets to talk to you, because you're literally the only two people there, so he might as well say something.
It takes the Lieutenant like five minutes to realize you're so interesting, he can't even grasp on it, the man was too stunned to speak.
It takes him like eight minutes to realize you're probably out of his league. You use big words and speak with a wisdom someone your age shouldn't have. You're also beautiful and have the sweetest smile. And he likes when you laugh at the lighthearted jokes he's sneaking into the conversation.
By the time you're saying goodnight to each other, Moose has forgotten he was going to eat in first place; his stomach is now filled with butterflies.
Okay, you might be out of his league, but he's going to give it a good try anyways. Who knows?
Well, I know. This man will make his way into your heart slowly but surely.
He sneaking away from big groups after spotting you giving him a shy wave whilst passing by. Walking you wherever you're going because he's a sweet sweet gentleman.
You two finding out you've got a lot of things in common; Moose grew up pretty much in the same environment as you, so you both share that closeness with nature that you only get if you've grown up surrounded by it.
He will steal your glasses to try them on. Honey no-
Moose making sure you're 100% comfortable when he starts introducing you into bigger circles. Everyone finding out how amazing you are.
You opening up to him. He admiring the way you fight the odds to be yourself and being in complete awe of it because you're so brave??? And COOL???? AND WHY WOULD SOMEONE EVER BULLY YOU??? and now he's hilariously outraged and it's cute.
Calm, lovely guy, but will beat the fuck up whoever looks at you the wrong way because you're an actual angel.
This big man goes to you whenever he's sick or injured because 1) he trusts you and 2) he knows you're Good™ with medical stuff and he doesn't understand shit.
Picnic dates. Hiking dates. Swimming in the lake dates. The latter ones are Moose's favorites. Also going on impromptu adventures just for the hell of it. And talking about deep topics at 3am too.
You going absolutely feral when he gets shot by friendly fire, like, people are getting scared because you've never been so Off The Rails.
He asks you to read him whatever your writing. This boy thinks you're hella talented in everything and won't hesitate to tell you in the most casual way.
Throwing his arm over your shoulders. Temple kisses. You playing with his hair and he peacefully falling asleep on your lap.
Moose will remind you you don't need to try so hard to be perfect because FIRST OF ALL that's not healthy and SECOND OF ALL YOU'RE THE CLOSEST THING TO PERFECTION THIS MAN HAS EVER SEEN.
I'm getting vibes of eventually becoming than kind of happy married couple who seem kind of weird and live their best life in a cottage.
Get it babes, you deserve it.
