can you do like a spin off to the fic you did where rafe went to the strip club, and instead of them making up y/n stands on business and leaves 😭? thank you if you do i love your writing smmm
based off of this request
warnings: angst, cheating
a/n: i heard y’all loud and clear, i hope you guys like this version just as much, if not more <3
“fuck, they don’t make them like this on figure eight.” you watched with watery eyes as rafe’s hands roamed the body of a stranger, his friends hollering in the background. seeing rafe receive a lap dance should’ve been enough for you to click out of instagram and call it quits, but you couldn’t help yourself in watching the rest of kelce’s stories. after skimming through the rest of the photos and videos, you didn’t have any tears left in you to cry.
getting up on shaky legs, you took everything you could fit in a suitcase, ignoring the calls from rafe as you went around your shared bedroom, grabbing your things. just as you were taking your last bag downstairs, the front door opened, revealing the last person you wanted to face right now. “what’s all of this?” your head shot up at the voice, your lips swollen from biting on them so hard. “what’s wrong?” he moved close, making you back away.
“please don’t touch me.” your voice came out weak. rafe scoffed, blinking rapidly as you took a seat on the couch, holding your head in your hands. “what’s wrong with you? why do you have all your shit down here?” he kneeled in front of you, the smell of cheap perfume filling your senses. “you should probably remind your friends to hide me from their story ‘next time you want to let someone put their boobs in your face.” you sniffled, avoiding his gaze.
rafe sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before he reached for your arm. “baby, please, i can explain everything.” you smiled, shaking your head. “you don’t have to. i really don’t care anymore, i’m leaving.” he narrowed his eyes at you, stumbling over his next words. “w-what the fuck are you talking about?” he grabbed two of your bags, about to take them upstairs before you stopped him. “this isn’t the first time you’ve been unfaithful, rafe, and if i don’t leave right now, it won’t be the last.” your voice cracked.
he shook his head, jogging upstairs, only to see you had cleared everything that belonged to you. rafe’s heart dropped, it looked like you had never been here to begin with. panic settled in his gut. “you can’t leave, i won’t let you.” he came back down, his eyes filled with guilt. “i already have a car on the way.” rafe shouted, punching the air. “y/n, i’m begging you baby, please let’s just go to bed-” you watched him cry, and for the first time you felt nothing. “we’ll forget all about this in the morning, alright? i’ll take you somewhere nice for breakfast, we could spend the day on the druthers the way that you like.” by the way he was talking, it sounded like he was reassuring himself more than you.
“and sweep it under the rug just like the last few times? no.” you laughed bitterly. “you cheat and time and time again i don’t do anything about it. i’m so tired, rafe. ‘tired of hearing the women at the country club call me ‘dumb and clueless’, i’m tired of everyone giving me pitiful looks everytime we walk inside a room.. i’m tired of not being valued.” you looked down at your hand, removing the promise ring that clearly didn’t mean anything.
“hey, hey, come on,” he pulled you up, “i value you, you know i do. i get you everything you want, goddamit, i take care of you!” you flinched at the volume of his voice. “i could get myself whatever i want rafe. all i’ve ever wanted was for you to be faithful, and you can’t even do that.” he watched as you glanced outside. “my ride is here.” he blinked, everything hitting him all at once. “y/n, stop.” he held you in place, not allowing you to move until you shoved him.
“there’s someone out there who is going to love me, and care about my feelings in all situations, someone who isn’t selfish.” you started rolling your suitcase out of the house, rafe following closely behind. “please don’t leave!” he ran his fingers through his hair. he begged and begged until you had the very last bag. “i hope one day you meet someone like yourself, fall in love with them, and see that no matter what you do, it will never be enough.” he watched you get into the black suv, feeling nothing but despair as the car drove away.

Asking for a friend who is not my twin from another dimension or anything like that...
What are some "fun" ways to torture your blorbos?
So far, I got reoccurring nightmares, physically threatening them, messing with their emotions through magic, isolating them from everyone, and make them feel like they have to walk on eggshells all the time.
Am I missing anything? (-_-;)
I promise this is for a "good" cause!
I'm thinking allowing their mental state to decline horribly and doing nothing about it as well.

Also I gotta know - with their friendship banter, do they banter each other into a kiss, or is it flirty friendship/primarily just friendship? When is their first kiss? (I'm a sap okay) is it just a kiss/a kiss at all, or more?
FINALLY I think I can answer this and I'm glad I waited because my first guesses didn't end up being the choices I made. I thought it would be a kiss at the end of book 2 in the haunted house but that didn't feel right. Then I thought about waiting until after the auction but gave in before. Purely going by book canon, the first kiss (other than a couple on the cheek before) is back at the warehouse after having Mason's crystal cleansed.
They joke and they flirt and there's plenty of steamy looks and flustered encounters but Andie knows there's no going back from a kiss. It might mean too much for her and not enough for him and then they're out of sync where he wants more and she wants more but it different ways and that could be a disaster and ruin everything and and and...
But after that afternoon when he asks, there's no words, only gestures and maybe they're finally on the same page and she isn't risking a friend just because of a racing pulse and promise of some excitement. Definitely has the "I love you" realization and it catches her off guard but she didn't think her feelings for him were that deep. She was totally friendzoning herself mentally.
After the kiss though, her brain is going a mile a minute. Did it mean what she thought it meant? Was it just the vulnerability of both of them after a difficult afternoon? Had she given in during a moment of weakness? It felt right, it felt really really right, but after all of Mason's hot and cold she can't help but worry it was the wrong thing or it's going to have disastrous consequences.
Then things move quickly for the auction and she doesn't have as much time to think about the kiss. Kiss or no kiss, she's trying to focus on the task ahead and honestly is just about emotionally shot with guilt over the kidnappings and everything else. When Mason comes to her after and asks to have that night, there's no question or hesitation. She in too deep now, she needs him and is tired of fighting herself and over thinking and after everything else that night, this seems like a small risk to take, one she's more likely to regret not taking.
He curls around her smelling of smoke and sandalwood and she's so tired and ragged and spent emotionally that when she sighs against him she worries that tears might burst out from the sheer relief and comfort. Luckily she's physically to tired for that and the relief wins out and she falls asleep.

new headcanon that is entirely your fault:
Billy had to do some community service back in California when he was like 15 and he did it at a nursing home. It's where he picked up lingo like 'the heebie jeebies.'
Maybe Neil picked that option because he was sure Billy would loathe it, even more than picking up garbage on the highway. Billy actually really liked helping out there though, even though he wasn't at a point where he could admit that.
Yes!!!
I swear, Billy enjoys the company of old people. They don’t bullshit him, but these people also don’t treat him like garbage. These people lived through the Great Depression and the traumas of both World Wars. They have seen some shit... but they also know how to have fun. Maybe they compensated for their traumas by spoiling the upcoming boomers, but they were out there trying their best and surviving by the skin of their teeth. That said, they can recognize a kid down on his luck in need of some love and kindness. They do not give a single shit what Billy wears or how he talks. They do care that Billy learns good movies, good music, and how to dance.
Neil probably thinks Billy will hate it because he doesn’t like old people. Probably views the generation(s) before him as less responsible, less disciplined, with uncertain futures. So many of them included waves of new immigrants or first generation Americans who took the jobs of “hard-working” third generation+ (White) Americans and refused to become fluent in English. Neil seems the type to blame all of his problems on everyone but himself. He also seems ex-military, but at a point in American history when being in the military didn’t garner the same kind of support as previous generations.
Surprise, surprise, though. Billy feels at home with the Olds.

Who wants to talk about Jackson and Jillson?
Because they are just so strange and awesome. In the books we don't get to see much of their relationship, but I love how unique it is in the show!!
They way they are so in-sync! And how they trade off finishing each other's sentences, to the point where when they do have a disagreement it throws off the whole scene. They support each other pretty much unconditionally, which is fantastic! (They honestly might have the most stable relationship of the whole show, because the only time I can think of them fighting is that one short bit in season two where they tell Curtain about the sleepers)
The way they love each other is so cool, especially when you consider the backstory of them being kidnapped and latching onto each other because they were taken to the Institute at the same time. They'll be right behind the other no matter what, but they're also not afraid to be honest. There are a few times that we see Jillson speaking her mind in a way that doesn't necessarily agree with Jackson, but he takes it in stride and they work it out.
And even though it's incredibly sweet, you can see how lost they are without one another. The fear in Jackson's eyes when Curtain tells him to become his own person and learn who he is, and who does he turn to? Jillson, even though she's as confused and scared as he is. The two of them literally don't know who they are without Curtain, and so they return to the only safety they know: each other.

It kind of stood out to me in the turtle tots short that although everyone is upset with Splinter - for telling them off and for how distracted he is from them in the first place - they all cheer up and grab the weapons to play with again the moment he leaves. Except for Leo.
And then he gets nominated as villain in their game so he is not having a good day.
He's also the one doing best with the weapon. The first time Splinter leaves he's as excited to play with the weapons as the rest of them, but he's the only one who doesn't lose control of it. He goes flying because Donnie smacked into him.
I wonder if he was hoping for more. Grabbing the weapons to play with while Splinter's distracted is fun. Realising this might be all you ever get in the way of training... not so much.
