sorry, but "what if there was no mom" is not some crazy, groundbreaking unconventional dynamic. yes, the dictionary definition of a nuclear family is "het couple + kids," but also it's not 1956 anymore. single parent families are basically just nuclear family lite at this point. there's really nothing all that mold-breaking about an only-technically-non-nuclear-family where the only real difference is that you deleted the woman lol

nghm okay my take on the neuvillette 'ships' is that they're...all kinda boring? theres a lot of interesting dynamics to explore dont get me wrong but for all of them romance is the least interesting option lol. first is because i dont think he's romantically-inclined by nature (aroace king) but also he intentionally tries to keep people at arms length because of his position as iudex (so even if he has friendly connections i cant see anything 'more' than that actually working out) .

however the most interesting juxtaposition for his character imo is being so filled with love for the world and the people around him and simulataneously not experiencing 'love' in the way a lot of people traditionally understand it. he loves people so deeply no he does not want to pursue any of them romantically. it doesnt even have anything to do with him being a dragon, he's just like that.

I'm so glad that the tumblr side of the fandom seems to be catching up on the Randy-specific brainrot I seem to have slowly fallen into lol. I assume most people got here from That One Spiritworld Clip or from That One Halloween Costume 🤣 Here's what I've found so far in case others haven't:

Bandcamp has 2 songs, neither of which are on spotify. One is kind of a joke from spring 2020 telling motherfuckers to wash their hands (read the description and credits it's hilarious), the other is a cover of Cherry by Harry Styles (idk the original but I love his cover)

He doesn't seem to have any other solo music (unless you count covers on instagram) but he does have a public playlist of his discography. ...He used to have a lot more public playlists like his girlfriend's discography as well but I guess they aren't there anymore?? That's new

The other example i've found of his singing is when Dan Andriano and the Bygones does live shows, sometimes they cover Burnin For You by Blue Oyster Cult and he takes lead vocals on that (and seems to need the lyrics printed out in front of him lol)

The Moore Family Band's about section on spotify. Also their instagram is where at least one of those Marilyn Monroe costume photos came from. Mind/Ciro- Also a mix of Wirt and Greg. Mainly is the seriousness and realistic outlook of Wirt but doesn't care much of the threats in the woods like Greg

Soul/Atlus- Mix of Wirt and Beatrice. Doesnt really care for any of the other people in the Unknown, but while also wanting to enjoy the adventure along the way.

Darrell is Greg's frog of course.

Some things would stay the same like Potterfield, but im also thinkin about the Manor episode being about Jekyll and Hyde. I want to put in more things from CJs other stuff but cant think of anything atm. Maybe the Announcer is involved with the Tavern episode idk. Also debating whether to even include beatrice in it since the idea i have doesnt quite have her fit into it.

Either way you can tell i dont at the moment have much of an idea for episodes 2-6. However the ideas i have for 7-10 are more layed out and are quite different compared to the original that im v existed to write for. but im very very tired atm so i can start on that (and maybe post a summary/synopsis) later.

I would think that Kindle & Orion (@onyxstic's lil' guy) would be good friends lol. They'd probably meet while Orion is exploring this random planet during one of her hunts, they end up in a bit of a scuffle, he convinces her he's chill, and, bc she feels bad for attacking this random child, Kindle heals him up. They end up bonding a bit (Kindle's excited to talk to someone who isn't one of her siblings lol) and decide to meet up every so often to catch up and just vibe tbh.

Ok so I have random designs for characters laying around with only brief summaries to give context. Because my head does the lil ' hehe let's make something ' thing and that is really nice sometimes.

So first of all, this lady right here:

She's kinda a mermaid but not really? See I had this idea where mermaid sightings are really ghost ladies that got thrown overboard. She's living her best life, and I had this idea where Skulker and her are rivals because he kinda took out her eye, so now she hates him. She's chaotic, I don't know if she's neutral, helpful, or enemies with Danny, but I like the idea of a ghost mermaid, so either way she'd be interesting. Maybe the ghost zone has oceans or something?

Next up, this guy:

So he's much more straightforward - I wanted a chaotic flame casino owner. Because it just kinda fit for some reason. So then I made him mayor of like - a fire city in the GZ. Which is also filled with all sorts of casinos, shops, cinemas, and the like. I felt like it would contrast the Far Frozen if a fire realm was very urban and has a sleazeball for a ruler. He's like if Vlad had a twin that wasn't obsessed with the perfect family, and instead just wanted to fuck around and find out. His entire thing is that he hates being bored essentially. He could also be either a help or enemy to Danny depending on how they meet I think.

But yeah, my two random OC designs I don't if I'll ever fully flesh out! I have no names for them, and don't know if I will, but I sure designed them, and I sure am happy with them! •^•
