TW: mentions of animal abuse
Gotham
Cornish rex mix, baby! HUGE yellow eyes and big old ears. Kind of freaky looking but Edward is in love from the moment he lays eyes on the creature. She is his baby now. She has a soft thin layer of fur that's typical for the breed and he swears it feels like lambs wool. Then he finds out she's a bonded pair with her litter brother...
Gidget and Gadget are their names and causing chaos to Edward's life is their game. Gadget, the male, isn't nearly as strange looking as his sister but still has huge ears and patchier fur. He tends to be the more shy, neurotic one but Gidget wants to get into everything and see everything. She scared the bejeesus out of Oswald when he first came over post-adoption because she practically jumped onto his shoulders from the dark.
Gidget is a shoulder kitty. She especially loves Edward's shoulders because he's so tall. She can see everything up here! If he's too focused on work and she's up there, she'll rub her fact all over his cheek to remind him he needs to pet her. Gadget is "I'll lay next to you and you can pet me but if it's too much then I'll leave" kind of cuddler. Wants to be right up next to your leg but not in your lap.
So much kitty fashion, especially once Gotham winter sets in. It just gets that touch too cold for their thinner coats and it just happens to be a bonus that he can dress them up. That plus a special cat cave he bought for them with a safe heated blanket and they are set. He loves looking over at them and seeing them all bundled up and sleepy with one another.
BTAS
Similar to the dog scenario, he went to the shelter to get a companion after trying to go straight. He felt... a strange disappointment looking at all the really young kittens jumping around. Too much energy for him at this stage- And a touch too high maintenance. He searches until he finds a long timer, returned at least twice because the cat's been through it. Some kind of Maine Coon mix missing an eye, multiple scars and a botched ear tip from when he was thought to be feral.
He names the cat Hannibal after the famous Carthaginian general because of his old battle scars. Hannibal is cat aggressive, dog aggressive and only marginally tolerates people. He also hides under the bed for the first week he's at Edward's place. In truth, he's not that old, just been in rougher areas of Gotham where people are mean and it's survival of the fittest for strays.
In truth, this is fine with him. He knows what it's like to be wary of others and being a bit beaten up. So he bides his time. Feeds Hannibal on the floor at the edge of the bed. Slowly moves in for pets until Hannibal closes his eyes and accepts it. One night he's late coming home due to nefarious plotting and Hannibal is at the door, softly meowing at him as if to scold and trying to grab his arm for pets.
Edward ends up building one of those complex platform systems around his home for enrichment for Hannibal. Hannibal immediately starts using it so he can try to grab at Edward when he passes and has even managed to knock his hat off a couple times, the fiend.
Sometimes Edward has nightmares that he's being smothered to death. Then he wakes up and it's Hannibal bread-loafing dead asleep on top of his chest.
60s
Siamese mix that he got from Catwoman. At first he was just going to look after it for her while after she was arrested but when she got out she saw how insanely attached the cat was. So she got to stay with Edward. Her name is Lola and she's in love with the quirky man. The song from Damn Yankees comes to mind for him. She was nice to Selina, a darling cat, but Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets and she wants Edward. That is her person.
It's a good thing Edward has no intention of getting another animal because she is fiercely jealous. Yells at him in this loud high pitched tone when she's not getting enough attention. Then almost burrows into his hand like he can't pet her hard enough. Loves sleeping on his written plans and blueprints, to his chagrin.
She WAS an indoor/outdoor cat until she came home with an injury from another animal and he realized the world outside was a little too rough for his darling Lola. She is more than fine with this because it means more Dad time. And more bed and couch time. She gives wicked side eye to any goon that tries to get her to move from a good spot.
When she sees him after a while of being apart her tail violently shakes and quivers which he was worried was a health concern. Nope. Just means she's VERY happy to see him.
If he really gets into a giggle fit she'll start yowling to join him. It's actually very cute, she just wants to be included 10/10. Unfortunately sometimes this just makes him laugh even harder until he's about to pass out.
Zero Year
He has a slutty, slutty ragdoll he got from a breeder because A) He wanted a fancy breed and B) this man is in such desperate need of affection and validation that when she flopped into his lap and arms, she also flopped directly into his cardiac muscles. He names her Helen after Helen of Troy given her beauty. She has a special formulated diet he gets from bougie pet stores, way too expensive.
Bless her heart, she's so stupid. Once pressed her forehead to the window after he cleaned it and he got worried something was wrong. She was just trying to go through the window. Once he ran to the bathroom because she was screaming and he found she had climbed onto the shower railing and couldn't get herself back down. Shoves her head under the sink sideways but doesn't understand why the water is streaming away off her face and not in her mouth.
Helen loves to interrupt his evil villain monologueing via stream by showing up in front of the screen and flopping over his arm with a head empty look on her face. It's really difficult to be intimidating and showing off when you just have a baby going =A= and begging for pets. He's tried shutting her out of the room but then she just cries loudly at the door until he lets her back in.
He loves to have her in his lap and he just buries his face into her tummy. It's like the softest pillow you've ever felt in your life. She has the deepest loudest purr when he does this which just spurs him on to continue being a dork about it.
Zero sense of stranger danger. Batman could walk in at any point and she'd walk over to flop at his feet for pets. Edward hates this.
Arkham
It's... a tabby. That's not actually a breed, mind you, it's the fur coloring but he's got no idea what it's pedigree is so it's a tabby. It was too weak, too scrawny when he first found it. The fact it came up to him showed how desperate it was for care which he begrudgingly gave. Then it purred and caught a rat that had been plaguing his workshop. Fine. You can stay.
And so let him be known as Orion, the great hunter in the stars! Eh, clever, right? Orion makes himself at home and comes to adore Edward- no one else. Anyone comes by and he's either hissing or growling. Edward jokes that it's not just the rat pests he keeps away. He builds a cat tree and platforms as a sort of reward for his friend.
Sometimes his lab is filled with loud cursing because Orion decided everything on the table needed to go. He stretches and suddenly there's a flurry of wrenches falling to the floor. It's absolutely the thing Edward dislikes most about the cat. Though, really, he should be happy Orion hasn't decided to try and eat some of those yummy small screws he keeps lying around with no care.
When it's just the two of them and he can see the stars through a window or a computer camera, he'll pull Orion into his lap and quietly tell him that's where he's from. It's a silly little thing, but almost everyone does silly things when they're alone with their animals. Orion purrs feeling Edward's gloves over his body. Loves the soft pressure.
When he falls asleep at the table, Orion licks his face until he wakes up. No one can figure out if Orion is just checking to see if he can eat Edward or he's genuinely concerned for his owner sleeping in a weird place. Edward votes on the first scenario.
Telltale
Selina insisted that he needed some kind of companionship after everything that happened to him. While he scoffs this off, he accepts the tiny wriggling little creature she brings to him. She says it's a stray she found. No idea what breed but it's a tortoiseshell coloring. Yes, she did this intentionally if you know anything about torties.
Selina also informed him she already came with a name unless he wanted to change it. He left it alone. Delilah it is. Sweet, quirky Delilah. Even from a young age, she lets the old man know she's a little bit sassy and not afraid of him despite their great size difference. Very vocal when he's doing things she doesn't like such as using the vacuum cleaner.
He likes booping her nose to irritate her, just a little. Antagonize her to puffing up and nibbling on his skin. She doesn't bite although he knows she could easily tear him open and has on occasion with her claws. Usually an accident but sometimes she's overtaken by the spice in her soul.
She likes jumping onto the bed when he tries to make it and simply rolls over onto her back when he tries to scold her. Never touch her stomach, it is in fact a trap. She knows this, Edward knows this after once or twice of falling for it. He pretends that never happened.
She dislikes being picked up but will allow him to move her when she's somewhere she's not supposed to be. For the most part she stays off of tables and furniture since he doesn't like animals up on there, but she will not allow him to kick her off the bed. This is her bed, his room is her room, any argument on that end will result in a lot of annoyed meowing and batting.
2022 Riddler
He got a little black cat he found on the street after saving it from assholes in an alleyway. They were hurting him- her? him. Edward rushed it to a local emergency vet and waited for hours with the little guy. A large portion of the tail had to be removed and the vet asked Edward if he'd rather put the cat down- Which Edward vehemently denied. Sure he didn't have a lot of funds but...
So he's got a cat with a nub for a tail. One of the nurses calls the cat a sweet little Biscuit and that's what Edward ends up calling him. Originally he was going to name the cat Ramanujan after Srinivasa Ramanujan the mathematician but then he'd have to constantly explain to the idiots around him about conjectures and the significance of his equations. Biscuit is fine.
Biscuit is an expert at making biscuits, mostly kneading into Edward's face late at night when he's trying to sleep. Or his chest. Surprisingly it helps to ease his restless mind to something of peace. He'll actually get a few hours when the cat purrs and massages him to rest.
Biscuit is pretty quiet other than the purring. He almost never meows, something Edward suspects is a result from having to hide so often. He knows the feeling. He was worried Biscuit would potentially hunt or try to hurt his rats but the cat just likes to lay next to the cage and purr. A strange reaction of a creature that used to have to hunt them for survival.
Biscuit just wants to be loved and love other living things. Edward almost envies how forgiving and peaceful the cat is. If only he could curtail his own rage the same way.

Ashleigh Wayne Fic AU Masterlist
Kitten
~1600 words
Major Characters: Bruce Wayne, Selina Kyle (Catwoman), Carrie Kelley, Ashleigh Wayne
Minor Characters: Jason Todd, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, Harper Row, Duke Thomas
Selina finally returns to the Manor after her 'vacation' with the intent of finally meeting Bruce's newest kitten. Unfortunately for her, the kitten isn't quite as eager to meet her.
Selina climbed in the open window, and quietly crept across the room until a menacing growl caused her to stop. "It's just me, Ace."
The dog took a final look at her, then went right back to sleep at bottom of the bed. Selina discarded her goggles, and gloves, before crawling in under the covers, and wrapping her arms around Bruce. He flinched at the touch of her hands. "Cold night?"
"Freezing."
"Where have you been?"
"Here, there, everywhere."
"I've been worried about you."
"Why didn't you send out a search party then?"
"Barry still complains about the last time I sent him to find you."
"I did warn him," she chuckled. "I heard our new kitten arrived. When are you going to introduce us?"
"She was in the living room when I came up to bed if you'd like to go down to her."
"I think I'll wait till morning, and what exactly are you doing in bed this early, it's barely past midnight?"
"Alfred said if I don't sleep for at least six hours he'd hide the keys of the Batmobile."
"Still listening to daddy's orders."
"Would you disobey Alfred?"
"Do I look like I have a death wish?" She lay into his chest. "Anyway, I'm too tired."
"Then how about we get some of that sleep he suggested?"
"That sounds good to me."
When Selina woke the next morning Bruce was still sound asleep. She chose not to disturb him, instead she got dressed, choosing to rob his clothes instead of using her own, and headed for the kitchen where she found Carrie, and Ash eating cereal. She crept up behind Carrie, and hugged her. "Hello, my little Kitten."
"Selina," she excitedly cried, "I didn't know you were coming over today."
"I thought I'd surprise you." She looked up at Ash, who was staring at her. "So you're Bruce's newest Kitten, I've been excited to meet you"
"Hi," she awkwardly replied.
"I'm Selina," she said, holding out her hand, which Ash cautiously shook.
"It's nice to meet you."
"Likewise." She headed to the fridge, and grabbed a yoghurt. When she turned back, Ash had disappeared. "Where'd she go?"
"Bolted as soon as you turned your back, she does that a lot," Carrie explained.
"It's bad enough with Bruce," she muttered as she sat across from Carrie. "Why can't she just be like you?"
"Like me?"
"You, quite literally, jumped into my arms when I first met you."
"I was excited to see you."
"You still jump into my arms."
"I'm still excited to see you."
"And I love that." She reached across the table, and patted Carrie's head. On her way back, she quickly grabbed Carrie's spoon, and used it to dig into her own yoghurt.
"Hey!"
"You weren't using it."
"Yes I was," she protested, lunging across the table. Selena dodged, and took off running, stuffing her mouth with yoghurt as she went.  "Come back with that," she shouted, taking chase.
- - - - -
Selena slumped down onto the bed beside Bruce. "Bad day?"
"Bad week, I've been trying to get to know Ash, but I can barely get two words in before she just disappears. Where does she even go?"
"You can't force her to like you."
"Oh yes I can, I'm sure Ivy wouldn't mind lending me some of her pheromones," she joked.
"That's cheating."
"I never was one for following the rules."
"You promised not to douse anymore of my children in pheromones, not after last time."
"That was an accident."
Bruce chuckled. "We're having a movie night tommorow, maybe you could try then."
"I already thought of that, Carrie says she'll just hide behind one of her siblings for the whole thing."
"Probably, but she's usually sleepy by the end of it, and that generally makes her easier to talk to."
"Is there a reason she doesn't like me?"
"No, she just can be... odd with people. She was actually really excited at the thought of meeting you."
"Did you try talking to her about me?"
"Yeah, but she didn't really answer my questions, just kind of ungracefully danced around them."
"Has she met Talia yet?"
"No, but I expect she'll appear around soon, she usually does."
- - - - -
It was a small movie night, with half the kids out of town, or otherwise occupied, only Bruce, Selena, Jason, Cass, Steph, Harper, Carrie, Duke and Ash were actually present.
Steph won the draw, and chose the movie, Twilight, much to Jay's displeasure, the others suspected that was her main reason behind picking it, but didn't question it.
About halfway through the movie Jay gave up watching it, and left despite Bruce's demands to stay. Ash quickly took his spot beside Bruce, and lay her head in his lap. It didn't take long for Ash to fall sound asleep.
Bruce gestured for Selina to come over. She did, leaving Carrie alone on the other couch, much to her displeasure. Bruce snuck out from under Ash, and let Selena take his place, laying Ash's back in place. "I'll be back in a little."
"You sure she'll be okay with this?"
"Of course, she lies like this with Kate all the time."
"I'm not Kate."
"She'll love it, promise," he insisted as he made his way out, stopping to cover Harper, and Duke, who were snuggled up together, sound asleep, with a blanket. Carrie waited till he was gone, before huffing across the room, and snuggling in under the covers with them.
The movie ended, and Cass, and Steph left, leaving just Selena. "Kitten, are you awake?"
Carrie lifted her head from Harper's shoulder. "Yeah."
"Coming over," she asked, patting the seat the far side of her. Carrie carefully left Harper, and made her way to Selina, laying beside her, and snuggling her head in beside Ash's. Selena gently scratched the top of her head. "I love you, Kitten."
"I love you too, Mom."
"Mom? It's not too often I hear that."
Carrie grumbled something unintelligible in response.
"I will always love you, Kitten, so, so much."
"I know."
"I know you know, but I still love telling you." She leant in close to Carrie, and whispered. "You'll always be my favourite. Now go to sleep, Love."
"You're my favourite too, Mom."
"I better be, I'm the only mom you have."
Carrie soon fell asleep, her fears, and jealousy quelled for now, though Selina didn't sleep, nor did she attempt to. Bruce had told her how Ash almost always woke at least once a night, and it didn't take too long before it occurred.
Ash raised her head a little. "Bruce?"
"Hello," Selina said, causing Ash to shoot up.
"I'm so sorry, I don't know how-"
Selena shushed her, and gently pushed her back down. "It's alright, just rest."
Ash glanced to Carrie, and settled back in beside her. "How did I get here?"
"Does it matter?"
"I guess not."
"Ashleigh, do you not like me?"
She looked up to Selina. "Of course I like you, you're Catwoman, you're awesome."
"Then why have you been avoiding me?"
Ash thought for moment, before choosing to be honest. "I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about you."
"What do you mean? How you're supposed to feel about me?"
"Every one keeps telling me that you're an amazing mother, that'll you'll be an amazing mother to me, but I don't know if I want... a new mother, so to speak."
"I am, at least a little bit, like a mother to everyone of Bruce's kids, and if I can be that for you, I'll happily be, but if that's not what you want, you can think me as just a friend, you don't have to think of me in anyway, but just know that I love you, no matter what you think of me."
"Why?"
"Why? Well, you're my boyfriend's child, and he has a great eye for lovable children, and from the many, many stories he's told me about you, I know when I get you know you, I will love you."
"I don't know how I want to think of you, part of me wants to think of you like what they tell me. Is that strange?
"Not at all, you don't have to decide how you feel about me straight away, and I certainly don't expect you to. How about you just get to know me, and ill get to know you, and we can figure how we feel about each other together?"
She smiled. "Okay."
"Now its time to get some rest, Sleepy Head."
"Alright." She attempted to get up, but Selina forced her down again.
"Ah, ah, ah. You can lay right beside Carrie if you want, I know she won't stir until morning."
"It's okay?"
"Of course, it's always okay, you can sleep in beside me when I'm here, you can come to me with your troubles, or you can just come to me if you need some attention, everyone needs that from time to time."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome, now rest, we can talk again tomorrow."
Ash shut her eyes, and was soon asleep beside her sister. Not too long after that, Bruce returned, sitting beside Selina, careful not to sit on his daughter's legs. "You talked to her?"
"We talked," she confirmed, running a hand through Ash's hair.
"Good news, I'll take it."
"Of course."
"I see you also picked up another 'kitten' as well."
"You know Carrie, she gets jealous."
"You think she'll be okay?"
"If she loves Ash half as much as I think she does, yeah, she'll be fine.
"Good. I guess you're staying here for the night."
"I don't think I have much of choice."
"No, you don't, which I guess means I've got to stay here as well."
"You better."
Bruce found another blanket, and tossed it across the trio, before sneaking his way in beside Harper, and Duke on the other couch.
The six slept soundly that night, none stirring till near noon, and when they did, a lovely breakfast had been prepared, courtesy of Alfred.
This fic has changed a lot more from the original concept then most of my fics do, but I'm so glad it's done. It feels really important to my overall story. It's brings in a lot of things I wanted, Selina beginning to be a mother figure to Ash, Selina + Carrie having an incredibly close Mother/Daughter bond, and the fact that Carrie get jealous easily, in particular when it comes to Selina + Harper. Anyway I hope you enjoyed - TBN

Batman: War Games - Worst Comic Event Ever? Probably!
I had so many fucking thoughts about this trash fire of an event comic, guys.
War Games might genuinely be one of the worst things that have ever happened to comics. It's riddled with horrific art, bad writing, bad treatment of beloved characters. The few attempts at brevity, goodness, or even relief are frequently undercut by homophobia, rape jokes, transphobia, and sexism.
As a fan of multiple of the storylines which were interrupted to produce this all-time low in comic event storytelling, and a fan of characters who were fridged, character assassinated, or otherwise shoved aside in favor of a narrative where Batman shoves aside his family and is more convinced than ever that he is right and blameless in the events that happen... it was awful.
Detective Comics #796 might just be one of the only worthy reads in the entire book: Stephanie Brown comes to blows with Zsasz in her time as Robin, and the art is good, Bruce expresses concern and care for her, and in that issue, we can almost see what could have been a better story, where the two of them learned and grew together.
(More below the cut)
A highlight that I did not expect, however, was the Batman 12 Cent Adventure by Devin Grayson, which was probably one of the most empathetic perspectives into Steph’s mind at the time, and clearly showing how she had been set up to fail. Through this book, we see the set up for the War Game, in a much more detailed way than we saw pretty much anywhere else throughout the book, and we also got a brief history of the Bat Family told two ways—the way that Steph knows it, and the way that we, the reader, know it actually happened, because Steph doesn’t know most of the family’s secret identities, and is in the dark about some of the fundamentals.
What can I even say about Steph’s treatment in this comic that hasn’t already been said, that isn’t part of the narrative of War Games? Maybe I could mention the horrifically porn traced torture drawings. The way that the torture is clearly stylized as sexual assault. The way that Steph is insulted, belittled, and poorly treated, even beyond the torture and fridging. The way that this was supposed to be how her story ended. As a fan of Steph, it was horrible to read. I cannot emphasize enough how new fans seeking Steph content, should avoid this series. Reading Detective Comics 796 and her issues as Robin in Robin and Batgirl… and just… never pick up War Games properly. Don’t be like me.
The Robin issues by Willingham were… fine, if frequently sexist, and continuing the comics tradition of treating male sexual assault as harmless or a joke (Tim is forcibly kissed by a fellow student, and is cheered on for it, despite having made clear to Darla that he is already in a relationship. Later, he ends up taking her on a pseudo-date for hot cocoa. There were a few nice moments squeezed in; Tim at one point says that Stephanie and Bruce had a good relationship and brought a levity to the role that was good for Bruce… right before claiming that her making Bruce joke wasn’t that big of a deal because the joke was “rudimentary.”
Catwoman was decent enough; I’m a fan of Brubaker in general, and the bits where Selina got to bond with Steph, do her own thing, and protect the East End were lovely… but so many of the infamous torture panels occur in this book that it’s hard for me to say that these issues were worth reading.
Orpheus and Onyx though… hoo boy. Onyx had some fun moments throughout the series, being battle buddies with Cass, chatting casually with Deadshot, and things like that. But in the end, the overwhelming awfulness of Batman coercing a black vigilante into becoming a gang leader, and then the vigilante being murdered, and his face literally worn as a mask, was bad. Bruce getting Orpheus to become the leader of the Hill Gang also undercuts his own argument that he had never intended to implement the War Game to give himself control over all of Gotham’s organized Crime… because he had put Orpheus where he was specifically to control one gang already. Orpheus was done so dirty, and he and Onyx deserve to get to come back and be treated better.
Batgirl had some nice individual moments when the story focused on Steph and Cass’s relationship: Cass desperately searching for her best friend and the last time the two of them met was absolutely heartbreaking, but the rest of it was generally just more of the same, constant fighting, and it’s her sections that get to feature the transphobic joke, on top of the sexism that permeates this entire event. Cass doesn’t get too much to do in this story, which is a real pity, since I think her book was one of the strongest from this era.
Nightwing was infuriating for the simple fact of when in the Nightwing the story takes place: barely after Nightwing’s assault at the hands of Tarantula. Tarantula is given a heroic story here, protecting young children who had been recruited into gangs, and even being appointed one of Batman’s top lieutenants in the crisis. She’s referred to as Dick’s stalker, but this is treated as a joke, and she touches him and flirts with him constantly, and the only negative consequences are that Oracle becomes jealous and insults both her and Dick.
Oracle is treated generally pretty poorly in this story, snapping at everyone, insulting Cass and Dick, and while some of it could be understandable given the situation, it’s kind of annoying that so many of her early appearances in the series are playing her up as a jerk. But in the end, Babs comes through in what would be, in any other story, a brilliant ending concept, but instead ends up being undercut by the rest of the story. Trapped in the Clocktower by the Black Mask, with Batman coming to her rescue, Batman is so furious about the War that he no longer cares if he lives or dies, and is even willing to kill the Mask. To pull him out of it, Babs activates the Clocktower’s self-destruct sequences, forcing Batman to chose between vengeance and his purpose as a hero, saving her life rather than killing the Black Mask. What undercuts it, though, is that Bruce’s rage is made out to be not about the destruction that the Mask has caused, or even about Stephanie Brown, who was tortured and is dying in the hospital, but instead, about the failure of his plan. So… nearly good, I suppose.
And Leslie. Leslie is right up there with Steph and Orpheus in terms of horrible treatment. DC has never been good at understanding pacifism. Leslie yells at Cass for saving her life, constantly claims that superheroes do more harm than good, and denies Steph life-saving treatment. The character ends the series exiled to Africa, with Bruce telling her never to come back, a character who was functionally his foster-mother, and one of the most important older women in the Batman books.
War Games is emblematic of some of the worst Batman writing: the character is pig headed, cruel, and even abusive, but we are told by the narrative that he's smarter than everyone, so they should just deal with it. Repeatedly characters try to call him out on his behavior, but he tells them to stop whining and deal with it, and even when his actions backfire, it’s portrayed as a tragic inevitability that he is not held accountable for.
And the ending goes out of the way to explain that it's not his fault that beloved character Stephanie Brown died, not really, it was because mean old pacifist Leslie Thompkins was overtaken by the "Batman is blameless" virus and decided to deny a girl medical treatment. Batman declares that what happened was a war crime, and there must be war trials, but in the end, he fails to take any responsibility for his own actions, and inflicts massive amounts of trauma on the entire city.
In short? Don’t read War Games!

Let's fan out over our characters together
My name is Chris and I'm a 29 year old roleplayer with 15 years experience writing! I'm an ICU RN in my free time with a beautiful wife and an even more beautiful cat and a fairly brand new puppy. I write mainly over email and reply 2-3 times a week with anywhere from 5-16 paragraphs, depending on the characters and actions in the scene. I also communicate over various messengers if that is at all your jam for plotting purposes and the like. I write M/F and F/F lines. And, since I'm a ICU nurse, I can always promise painfully medically accurate roleplay. I put extra *s by the lines that I will literally lose my mind if you approach me about. Searching hard! Figured I'd start with original lines: -The Social Media Age***********
I really want to write a m/f line (as the male) that entails a social media influencer type (Think Alexis Ren, etc) falling for a more standard sort of guy that's not a part of her world but a good, interesting dude all the same. When I think of this line, my mind thinks *EPIC ROMANCE*. Like, seriously, we can have a romance that gets to take place all over the world? That will be a lot of fun to write. -F/F True Detective/The Wire**************** Some sort of law enforcement partners trope that has two ladies deep in an investigation of some kind, preferably in a gritty ass city. I would prefer them to be homicide detectives but could also do police officers or FBI agents. The pairing could be platonic or romantic. I have an awesome character in mind and would love to spitball something. Fandoms -Doctor Who
I started writing Yaz against the 13th Doctor recently and had a lot of fun with it before it fizzled out. If anyone is interested in writing 13, holler at me!
-The Boys Would love to write Hughie against Starlight! Currently working my way through the season that just dropped. -Marvel Let me write the webhead. Peter Parker, college aged and not exactly the MCU version. I would love to find someone that was interested in writing Felicia Hardy/Black Cat but I'd be down with trying most romantic interests just because I want to write this so bad. Bring on bombshell MJ or an eternally doomed Gwen (OR SPIDERGWEN). If you have a different idea, hit me up. Open minded here.*******
-Also, I would really love to find someone to write Black Widow. I've always wanted to bring MCU Matt Murdock and Natasha up against one another since they were always such a famous romance in the comics.  -DC -I'd love to write Batman against Catwoman, please. I'm not too picky on the setting or the iteration. -John Constantine against almost anyone. I'd kill for an Elsa Bloodstone but that's obscure as heck. A mage and a monster hunter that are both English taking on the supernatural underworld. Let's make it into an adventure like magic Indiana Jones and just go nuts with it. Seriously, this could be so fun.***************** Otherwise, Zatanna (old flames), Jessica Jones (Two cynical alcoholics become barstool neighbors before one's business shows up at the bar as well), or Scarlet Witch (Instead of going to Stephen Strange, Wanda ends up as John's student)? -Resident Evil I'd like to write Leon against Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine in an original outbreak or a new one. I know this is an old school fandom but I'm a diehard fan. -The Matrix Another obscure fandom. Maybe just an original crew, set during the movies, after, or an AU where they're the only survivors of Zion? Im not sure but I could plot something out! -Uncharted I'd love to write Chloe Frazier against Nadine Ross, continuing their adventures. I'm pretty wide open on what we can do with this one. RANDOM CRACK SHIPS! Caught in a Web: I would love to write an iteration (Daniel Craig or an original) of James Bond/007 against a non superhero version of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Spy vs spy shenanigans as two people working for different governments. Totally impossibly but putting it just in case: Did anyone see all that Wonder Woman/Lara Croft art that was floating around the internet earlier this year? I would love to dive into that. I'd prefer to write Lara but I'm definitely not picky. My email is [email protected]. I'm on skype at Chrisx104 (Same for gmail) and Discord at NurseBatman#3674

Any fics where you thought the pacing was spot on ? Or character development?
OK, this is actually a really hard request! So, I’m going to give you some that I think fit the bill. But note that there a few on this list that have great pacing but you might find the characterization, while very good, may not be the typical H/L characterizations you’re used to. But they’re too good not to rec! Hope that makes sense! Ok...thank you to my GCs for helping me brainstorm a bit!

One day to believe in you by Mediaville
A mysterious force compels Louis to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Even when it's really inconvenient.
Harry blinks and has the nerve to look surprised. "You think about me when you get off?"
"Yes," Louis says. He wonders how hard he'd need to punch himself in the face to knock himself out.
"Often?"
"Yes, Christ, Harry," Louis groans. "Probably eight times a week for going on six years now. On average, you know. More when we were touring, less when I've been visiting family. Anything else you'd like to know?"

Harry remembers Louis stalking along the Cougar’s sideline as the final seconds of the game ticked away. He was apart from everyone, with his arms crossed and his head down, sort of fragile looking even in his pads and helmet. Harry’s fingers actually itched to hold his hand, just as they do now.He holds the phone up to take a selfie and smiles into the camera, trying to ask Louis a question with his eyes. For as long as anyone can remember, Old Hillsbridge Manor has always been believed to be haunted. Everyone in the village agrees and keeps a respectful, fearful, distance. New in town after a bad breakup and an internship that led to disappointment rather than a permanent job, Harry Styles figures taking pictures of the decrepit building could be a great new creative project. Or at least a much-needed distraction while he searches for a job and crashes at his parents’ new house. No one warned him about the apparitions though; about the music, the laughter, the people who flicker and vanish when you call after them, the echoes of a past that should be long gone… Harry has never believed in spirits but even he can admit that there’s something weird going on. What starts as mere curiosity evolves into a full-blown investigation and soon enough, Harry finds himself making friends with an aristocrat from the 1920s and struggling with finding the best way to tell him that he’s dead.

WTFIT Chapter 7
A.N. A new chapter :) This is a bit shorter than usual, but that’s alright. Also, a new character has been unlocked >:) Enjoy!
The walls of Jim Gordon’s apartment are white, the furniture simple. The rest of the house is mostly bare, a basic design that contrasts wildly with Wayne Manor, but it isn’t as though the room is devoid of memories. The apartment is covered in frames. Pictures of Barbara, newspaper clippings. Photo albums cover an entire shelf. As commissioner, Jim doesn’t get to be at home too often, which allowed Barbara to have enough time to build her secret base.
Tim has never been in that base; the farthest he’s come into the Gordons’ apartment was the living room. He doesn’t even know how Barbara fits a base in the apartment, if he’s honest. Where would you find space?
Barbara comes out of her room as Tim waits in the living room, ushering him over to her quickly.
“You know you can’t tell anyone this is here,” she says as she lifts a frame from her room, pressing a hand over a panel hidden behind. Replacing the frame, she waits as a door opens. Tim gapes as he follows her into the room.
“This is where you work?”
“Mmhm.” Barbara smiles proudly, enjoying the look of awe Tim wears. “It’s not too much, but it sure does help.”
“It’s amazing.” There are computers and screens everywhere, the room dimly lit. Some screens show recordings, others code, and even more hold messages and photos. Tim looks this way and that, appreciating the room. “So you can’t find him?”
“No.” Barbara wheels over to a larger screen, typing quickly. “And I’ve messaged him too, and there’s nothing, not even static anymore. I have no idea what’s going on. I’m not even out of range, I don't think...the whole area is just dark. That’s why I need Bruce there right now.” Barbara glances over at Tim. “Does Alfred know you’re here?”
“Hm? Oh, no.” Tim calls Alfred quickly, not knowing if Bruce has briefed the butler on the situation. Once the call is over he focuses back on Barbara. The woman’s jaw is clenched, strands of hair loose from her ponytail. Her focus is set on the screen, looking for any way to patch through to the East End. A cup of coffee sits on the table, cold. Tim walks over to her, looking at the screen.
“Do you think Selina Kyle knows what’s going on?” Tim knows Catwoman frequents the East End.
“I’m not sure. Bruce told me she was staying out of the way for this one. Nice of her, one less thing to worry about,” she mumbles distractedly. She growls as one of her ideas falls through.
“If you can’t message Dick, do you think you’ll be able to comm Bruce one he’s there?”
Barbara blinks. “I should test that. Batman,” she says into her headset.
“Oracle. I’m almost in East End, it’s like Nightwing said. Quiet, not a hint of crime.”
“I’m going to comm you often, see at what point it shuts off, or if it does at all.”
“Works for me. Do you have a general idea where he might’ve gone missing?”
“Hold on.” It takes a few seconds, but Barbara pulls up a map. “He told me he was further north, in the center. It was after that that he stopped messaging.”
“Got it. Keep in touch.” The comm goes out, Barbara tracking the signal strength. Tim takes the time to look over everything on the screens, maps taking up three screens.
There’s a blip he can’t read. It flickers in and out, though he doesn’t know what it means. He taps the woman on the shoulder, who turns to look at it with him.
“That’s Bruce’s tracker,” she says. “It’s fading the closer he gets to the East End though.”
“Maybe they’re knocking down the electrical wires,” Tim suggests lightly. Barbara just shakes her head.
“It’d be too obvious. They’re jamming the signals, but I don’t think it’s Penguin. He’s been hiding ever since he ran from Bruce. Harley and Ivy wouldn’t, not really their style, y’know? But maybe…” she runs down a list of active criminals, finger tracing down each name on the smooth screen. “Hey,” she points to Tim. “Can you look at the ones we know are part of this?”
“Sure.” He observed over Barb’s shoulder. “Black Mask?”
“He’s definitely got a part in it, but we haven’t seen him around.”
“Maybe he’s in the East End then.” Tim says. Barbara frowns, calling Bruce.
“Black Mask might not just be in hiding, watch out for him. He won’t be alone.” All she gets in response is static. “Batman? Dammit...” She turns the comm off and looks over to where she was tracking Bruce. “He’s on his own now.” Her forehead furrows, fingers lighting over her keyboard, waiting for an idea.
“They’ll be alright,” Tim more or less says to himself. He’s ready at any moment should anything fall through. He’ll give Bruce two hours.
*
Barbara stops messaging Bruce as he nears the northernmost corner of the East End, which worries him, but if it’s out then it’s out. The only thing he can do is make up for the loss of resources with extreme vigilance. He almost wishes Tim was here with him, but then they’d be two lost people trying to save someone. And that’s a mess. His infrared works, thankfully, but it wouldn’t help anyway. There’s no one here. Still, he makes sure to stay down and walk close to the walls until he finds something.
There’s a grate he sees as he scans through. He opens it and slides through, his footsteps muted thuds on the metal. The deeper in he goes the warmer it gets, Bruce wondering what’s at the end as he brushes away old cobwebs. They used to annoy him to no end, but he’s never been bitten by a spider, and anyhow that’s at the bottom of his list of worries. His comm still doesn’t work, and he hadn’t bothered to bring his phone, he never does. Too easy to break or misplace.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel, a faint flicker that draws Bruce closer. Noise is accompanied by it. The closer he gets the louder it is, until he finds himself positioned over a large room. Three men stand below him, each toting a gun. No one else is there, and Bruce doesn’t exactly know what they happen to be there for. They start a conversation.
“Did you hear we got the little bat?”
“Nightwing? Heh, he get caught in one of the traps?” Bruce zeroes in on the dialogue, eyes narrowing.
“I wasn’t told how, but how hard could it have been? If that’s the best the Bat’s got then we’ll definitely have our way on Friday. Only two more days and the fun begins.”
“I sure hope so. I can’t wait to get out of these sewers, they give me the creeps.”
Where are they keeping him? It’s anger that keeps Bruce going, knocking out the bottom of the vent and knocking out the three thugs without remorse. There’s no one else close by, and the uses that opportunity to look around. He’s close to the sewers, that much he knows. He has a sinking feeling Killer Croc might be around, that’s one villain he doesn’t want to deal with tonight. He knows the giant humanoid didn’t get away from Arkham. So maybe that’s why the men down here are braving the sewers. It makes sense. There’s bad reception down here in any case, a simple jamming program and it’d be nearly impossible to get a signal through. As it is, Oracle still isn’t audible.
The deeper he goes into the sewers the more he wonders how exactly Dick was caught. He has no problem taking men down in numbers, he does it with ease. Which means something worse has to be down here. There are murmurs throughout the tunnel, whispers of wind that sound ominous in the oppressive atmosphere, a musty smell pervading the air. The cement beneath him is slick from sewer water, and he makes sure not to slip, entering a room he unlocks that holds a guard and a crate. After taking down the guard Bruce nears the crate. What he sees sickens him.
It’s a new compound of fear gas, one he’s never seen before. Crane’s name is stamped on the canisters, each carrying about an ounce of toxin. Bruce eyes the canisters with dread, if this was part of their plan and Bruce hadn’t found it, Gotham would surely have been destroyed. He puts a tracker on it, reminding himself to come back to it once he finds Dick. With that he locks the door with a new code. Time to continue his search. He quickly goes through every room and tunnel, only to find them empty or filled with trivial items. He knows he’s getting closer, he’s just not sure how close that is. The tunnels twist this way and that, and more than once Bruce finds himself at intersections.
It’s almost by chance that he finds a small door to the corner of the farthest tunnel, a panel that blends in with the rest of the wall save the tunnel he can see behind it. He pushes it in with relative ease. Rats scurry past him with shrill squeaks, air rushing towards him. He crouches and shuffles forward cautiously. The air is stuffier now, it feels like a sauna. There’s that same dim light, and he sees shadows. A quick scan reveals four. Two armed, one unarmed, and a man tied up, barely moving. He assumes it’s Dick. Which helps explain why he hasn’t been answering...
No one else appears on the scan, and he decides to move in, taking out the two with guns first. They’re easily subdued, Bruce surprising them enough that they don’t resist much. One tries to shoot but Bruce knocks him away, his gun falling to the ground with a clatter. In just that second two are on the ground, unconscious. Bruce kicks the guns into the farthest corner of the room. He only has to glare and the third gives up, not having a gun to shoot and not daring dive to the ground for one. He puts his hands up, not putting up a fight. Bruce knocks him to the ground without a second thought. He’s had it with thugs.
Standing up from the figure, he turns to face Dick. The younger man has panic in his eyes, even after Bruce pulls the tape from his mouth.
“No, you aren’t supposed to be here,” he says, his usual bravado gone. Bruce notices the sweat matting his hair down, the way his skin is paler than usual against his dark mask. His hands shake.
“What happened?” He asks softly, cutting at Dick’s bonds.
“Please, you have to go, it’s a trap.” Dick turns his head this way and that, eyes wild. Bruce doesn’t see anyone around, though someone is approaching, at a distance in his scanner.
“Nightwing, what’s going on? The comms don’t work down here, we thought you were in danger.”
“You can’t be here, that’s what he wanted-this new toxin he has, it’s strong, it’s different-” Dick’s eyes narrow suddenly. Pulling away from Bruce he whispers. “He’s here.”
Bruce turns to face the man hidden in the shadows, eyes glittering with malice. Scarecrow. The villain sidles out of the shadows, mask covering the grin Bruce knows he wears.
“Well, if it isn’t the Batman,” he says, voice low. “I was wondering whether or not you’d show up.” Bruce spares a glance back at Dick, who shuts his eyes tightly. He’s been injected with the toxin, it dawns on Bruce.
“Your plans stop here,” He says, stepping towards Crane threateningly, determined to put the criminal behind bars. No one should have to deal with his poisons.
Of course, it’s never that easy. The man blends back into the gloom, Bruce’s hand missing him by mere inches. He whirls around to see Crane holding his hand over Dick, the needles at the tips of his fingers clicking against his shoulder. The blood rushes from Bruce’s face.
“I wouldn’t move if I were you, Dark Knight.” Scarecrow laughs wickedly, the man he’s captured looking anywhere but at the villain. He’s free from his bonds but held back by whatever toxins still affect him. “One injection and it sends him into another nightmare of pure terror, one that lasts hours. He’ll be awake, but he won’t be able to tell left from right, friend from foe. Won’t that be unlucky for you?”
“Let him go, Crane.” Bruce inches closer and Scarecrow tightens his grip on Dick.
“I will if you take off your mask,” Scarecrow offers smugly. Bruce knows he has to refuse, that DIck would want him to, but it nearly kills him. He slips out a batarang instead, making sure his aim is true before throwing it, the villain jumping back. It grazes his shoulder, and he hisses in pain. Bruce throws himself towards Dick, Scarecrow lunging at him. He plunges a needle into Bruce, the latter gritting his teeth in pain as he falls to the ground. There’s nothing but pain for a few moments, but even that fades as his breath evens out. He stands, Scarecrow nowhere to be found. The room looks the same, just tinted green. He glances at Dick who...looks awful, and horrifying. He stumbles back from the monster in the chair, a gross imitation of his former charge. His appearance is haggard, his mouth twisted in a disgusting grimace.
“Bruce, you need to fight it!” The figure says, but Bruce shakes his head, shivers running down his spine. The room narrows into an alley, Bruce’s eyes trying to make sense of the situation. Bodies lie strewn in front of him, a couple at the front. One he knows well, the two people haunting his nightmares.
He tries to look away from the bodies of his mother and father, but his eyes stay glued to the gruesome scene, piles of corpses appearing quickly. At the top Alfred gazes at Bruce, eyes unfocused and glassy. Bruce’s eyes widen, he reaches out for the butler but can’t catch before he topples, unseeing eyes staring as his breathing comes to a close. From out of the corner of his eye he sees what used to be Nightwing writhe out of his chair and approach Bruce, roaring. Bruce doesn’t move except to hold his hands out in front of him, breaths coming in short and fast. His mind struggles to rationalise away at the scene, but his heart feels nothing but fear at the moment. What is this? Nothing Crane ever used on them affected Bruce to this extent. He closes his eyes, trying to numb away the terror, to quell the uncontrollable tremors. His knees hit the floor as he rides the toxin out, tears leaking silently from his eyes. His brain screams at him to get up and fight it, but it’s all he can do not to just collapse. His senses are heightened, he wants to fight, to take someone out, but deep in his mind he knows it’s an effect, one he can’t fall prey to. It’s that small thought that keeps him from getting up, all his strength going to fighting the toxins. His vision starts blurring and fading in and out, staring down blankly at the floor. Make it stop.
*
“It’s been two hours,” Tim states, glancing up at the clock. “What do you think is going on?”
Barbara is still sitting at her computers, nothing further in her brainstorming than an hour before. There’s just no way around the lack of reception in the East End. They’d both come to the conclusion Bruce was in the sewers, but that didn’t help where exactly.  Tim already had his mask back on, raring to go. Barbara wasn’t against him leaving, per se, but she didn’t want him falling into whatever misfortune was keeping Bruce and Dick.
“Maybe I should call Jason,” she murmurs thoughtfully, lightly pressing her fingers to her bottom lip.
“You have his number?” Tim perks up. He’s never truly met the elusive man who used to be Robin before him. Heard stories, even seen him around, but never gotten face-to-face with the man.
Barbara smiles. “Yeah, I do.” She calls him, the call short and sweet and to the point. Not a minute later she hangs up. “He’ll meet you on the rooftop of the doctor’s office in the area. You know, where Dr. Thompkins works.”
“Sweet. I sure hope Bruce and Dick are alright…”
“Hey.” Barbara looks at him sternly. “No sad faces, no gloom. They’re all right. They have to be. And they’ll be just fine once you find them.” She lifts an eyebrow. “No point in worrying more than you have to. I’d know.”
She makes sure Tim has a snack before leaving, knowing the boy will need all the energy he can get. Tim says his goodbyes, perching on the Gordon’s window and waving. Then he jumps, the wind catching at his cape, the cool breeze chilling him to the bone. He propels himself towards the East End, knowing it’d be faster taking one of Bruce’s machines but enjoying the night air too much. Besides, if he’s going to be in the sewers he’s going to want all the fresh air he can breathe. The deeper he goes in the worse the air will be.
Stars twinkle above him, it’s an unusually clear night tonight, not a cloud in the sky. It’s nights like these that make him appreciate Gotham weather; clear nights seem like magic when they appear. He’d love to look at the constellations, but there’s no time.
It’s close to midnight when Tim lights on the roof of the doctor’s office, Jason already waiting for him, a red hood covering his face. Tim opens his mouth to introduce himself but Jason cuts to the chase.
“So Bruce got himself in hot water, did he? It was only a matter of time.” He says this coolly, looking Tim over. “You’re the new Robin?”
Tim nods. “I’m Tim. Tim Drake.”
Jason only tilts his head. “Jason Todd. So as long as you’re going to be under Bruce’s wing, I’m gonna give you a tip. Make sure you don’t save people who don’t deserve to live. It’s a shit way to fight if you’re always against the same crazies.”
It’s a bold statement, one Tim isn’t sure he likes. “Bruce says that’s not the way to do it, it would cross a line and it’s not justice-”
“Well, that way of thinking is what got Bruce captured, isn’t it?” Tim keeps his mouth shut, it’s true, technically, though he presses his lips together in annoyance. Jason doesn’t seem to want a response, seeming satisfied with the lack of one, and instead leaps off the building and sprints away. Tim isn’t sure he likes Jason at the moment, but he has no choice but to follow. They won’t need to grapple if they’re heading into the sewers. Most people make the smart choice of staying off the streets at night in this area of Gotham. Those less fortunate huddle together in alleyways, bundled in rags and trying to find warmth. Tim feels a pang in his chest when he sees this, no one should have to survive the elements like this. Maybe he’ll have Bruce help out the East End a bit.
He keeps steady pace with Jason, who leads them down to a large grate into the sewers.
“I sure hope there’s nothing that can eat us down here,” Jason mutters. Tim agrees, going down into the shadowy tunnels first. His feet are on the first rung when the anti-hero asks,  “How old are you anyway?”
“Eighteen.”
“And Bruce is letting you do this?” Jason sounds incredulous, and while Tim can understand that something spikes irritation in him.
He frowns. “No, not exactly...but I promised I’d go after him if he didn’t come up after two hours.”
“Well, it’s a good thing Barb called then. You’d be going on a suicide mission otherwise.” Jason ruffles Tim’s hair, the latter brushing him off.
“Thanks but I think I can take care of myself.” Tim continues his descent into the sewer.
If Jason wasn’t wearing a mask Tim would’ve noticed the man rolling his eyes. “If you say so.” They both find themselves with their feet on the watery concrete of the tunnels soon enough, Jason turning on a flashlight. “You ready for this, Kiddo?”
“Yeah. And don’t call me that.” Tim starts forward. At the turn of the tunnel he almost falls into the water, Jason pulling him back.
“We’re going right. Unless you want to end up washed into the bay.” Tim turns red, but Jason’s already turned back around. “ I’ll lead.” He sneaks down the passageway, barely making a sound.
The further they go in the stranger it gets, the atmosphere doing little to put Tim at ease. He notices lights on occasion, though Jason decides against checking them out.
“The more important stuff’ll be deeper in,” he explains quietly. “No point in checking out anything else.” And he’s right. The closer in they get the warmer it gets, which is strange enough that Tim decides it’s they’re going the right way. Faint lights get clearer, and he almost thinks he can hear someone around them…
“I think they’re here,” he whispers to Jason, who nods.
“Yeah, we should be super quiet though, who knows what’s down here-” He grunts suddenly, a figure knocking into them. Tim stifles a shout of surprise as the flashlight falls to the ground, Jason snarling, pinned to the ground. Tim prepares to fight when, through the dim light, he sees Jason freeze. A voice cuts through the heavy darkness.
“Well, what do we have here?”

Pick your Poison and let's Write!
My name is Chris and I'm a 28 year old roleplayer with 15 years experience writing! I write the male in M/F and, to a lesser extent, F/F lines. And, since I'm a ICU nurse, I can always promise painfully medically accurate roleplay. I put extra *s by the lines that I will literally lose my mind if you approach me about. Searching hard! Figured I'd start with original lines: -The Social Media Age
Something focusing on a fairly average guy (Good job, own issues, hobbies, and life) getting tangled up with a female that is a massive Instagram star/influencer type, their two worlds clashing even as they fall for one another. I have a few good ideas for this!
-F/F True Detective/The Wire Some sort of law enforcement partners trope that has two ladies deep in an investigation of some kind, preferably in a gritty ass city. I have a character in mind and would love to spitball something. Fandoms -Preacher Seriously. Love this show, love this comic. Would happily write Jesse or Cassidy against Tulip. Just definitely looking for a Tulip -The Boys Would love to write Hughie against Starlight! Open minded here. Seriously, this could be so fun. Otherwise, Zatanna (old flames), Jessica Jones (Two cynical alcoholics become barstool neighbors before one's business shows up at the bar as well), or Scarlet Witch (Instead of going to Stephen Strange, Wanda ends up as John's student)? -Resident Evil I'd like to write Leon against Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine in an original outbreak or a new one. I know this is an old school fandom but I'm a diehard fan. -The Matrix Another obscure fandom. Maybe just an original crew, set during the movies, after, or an AU where they're the only survivors of Zion? Im not sure but I could plot something out! -Uncharted I'd love to write Chloe Frazier against Nadine Ross, continuing their adventures. I'm pretty wide open on what we can do with this one. -Overwatch I just recently got into this game and think the fandom is a ton of fun. While I might need a bit of tutorial on the storyline outside of the characters, I'd be down to write a few of them. But I have no idea what the standard ships are.

Seeking long-term, fun, and literate roleplay! Pet photos on request.
My name is Chris and I'm a 28 year old roleplayer with 15 years experience writing! Figured I'd start with original lines: -This American Life Something set in the 1970s, focusing on a roadtrip. A group of teenagers leave their small town behind to head out west. I love this time period. Can be supernatural, supernatural lite (think Twin Peaks weirdness) or totally natural. F/F True Detective line A line about a pair of detectives from the city taking on a murder in a small down that isn't jazzed about two women taking the reigns of such a large case. Fandoms! -Star Wars** I know Reylo is all the rage these days, as is Qi'Ra/Han. But, man ALIVE, I really want something focusing on the core four: Luke, Leia, Han, and, ya boy, Chewie. Something taking place in that three year gap between New Hope and Empire as they work among the rebellion. Strange new worlds, getting into scrapes, sharply running from the empire, avoiding Vader, bounty hunters, and all sorts of things. This time period is far from explored and we can really thrive in the galaxy. Primarily I want to focus on the budding relationship between Han and Leia and Luke's training, pre-Yoda. In a perfect world, I'd want to write Han and Chewie (If anyone thinks Chewie is just a NPC, get out my face) while my partner takes on Leia and Luke. I'd be willing to switch out Chewie for Luke if need be, I guess? We could also split up C3PO and R2. Let's real build out the resistance and delve into the 'WARS' part of those big yellow letters that never get enough attention. On top of all of that, I also have an original love interest in mind for Luke if someone else plays him! She's a spitfire. Alternatively, I'd be down for writing something set in the clone wars. Perhaps two jedi that broke the order's relationship laws and then survived Order 66 together? -Preacher Seriously. Love this show, love this comic. Would happily write Jesse or Cassidy against Tulip. Just definitely looking for a Tulip -The Boys Would love to write Hughie against Starlight! Currently working my way through the season that just dropped. -Marvel -I will love you forever if you write an Elektra against my Daredevil. They are toxic and in love and I love it. Whether it be the comics or the Netflix series, I don't care. Someone please write me an Elektra. -Alternatively, I'd also be happy to write against a Black Widow, either with Daredevil (They were a mainstay OTP in the comics in the 90s) or Logan/Wolverine (This line would be bloody and murder-y as hell but it would be some fun).** -Has anyone seen the trailer for the neverendingly delayed New Mutants movie? I would love to write something based on that horror aspect of the mutant universe.* -I'd love to write an older MCU Peter Parker (like college) running across a MCU version of Black Cat. Or just a Spiderman roleplay in general. I've always wanted to write Peter but have never gotten the chance! I have a ton of ideas for this, plus faceclaims for a few of the villains. Pleeeease hit me up***** -If you write Jessica Jones, I'd be willing to write almost anyone against her. Just let me know. -Hawkguys! I would love to either write Clint sgainst Kate Bishop (This would be a slightly skewed MCU vibe) or Kate against America Chavez. I would really love to do either of these lines -DC -I'd love to write Batman against Catwoman, please. I'm not too picky on the setting or the iteration.*** -John Constantine against almost anyone. I'd kill for an Elsa Bloodstone but that's obscure as heck. A mage and a monster hunter that are both English taking on the supernatural underworld. Let's make it into an adventure like magic Indiana Jones and just go nuts with it. Seriously, this could be so fun.*************** Otherwise, Zatanna (old flames), Jessica Jones (Two cynical alcoholics become barstool neighbors before one's business shows up at the bar as well), or Scarlet Witch (Instead of going to Stephen Strange, Wanda ends up as John's student)? -Hannibal I've been dying to do a sort of season 4 for a while now, focused on Clarice Starlings interaction with Will Graham and later Hannibal Lecter. Just need to find someone willing to create an original style Clarice. -Resident Evil I'd like to write Leon against Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine in an original outbreak or a new one. I know this is an old school fandom but I'm a diehard fan. -Star Trek Okay, so first up, I am not the most well versed Trekkie in the world. Never watched any of the TV shows but am a massive fan of the trio of rebooted films and would love to give Kirk or Bones a try against Uhura, Dr. Eve, or maybe a female Vulcan OC? Hit me with ideas! Let's create something awesome together.

Can be supernatural, supernatural lite (think Twin Peaks weirdness) or totally natural. -Stranger Things inspired** A group of four to six friends enjoy their last summer together in a remote town as strangeness begins to unfurl. I'd be willing to set this in the present but think it would be way more fun in the 70s or 80s. I have an idea for one of the kids having lost a sibling in a strange way when they were young and possibly some sort of cult in town. Fandoms! -Star Wars** I know Reylo is all the rage these days, as is Qi'Ra/Han. But, man ALIVE, I really want something focusing on the core four: Luke, Leia, Han, and, ya boy, Chewie.
