my friend at at work is a slightly conservative christian, like she was pretty sheltered growing up and shes learning to be open minded. and she was talking abt our salaries and she was like you know they charge this much for a month of lessons which is this much for each lesson which means the bosses make This Much money when we teach a half hour lessons and we only get paid this much but WE'RE the ones doing all the work !! and I was like baaabe... you are sooooo close

#and we were talking abt minimum wage and she doesnt quite get why it should be raised because wage workers #have less experience education etc than we do and we dont get paid much more than the 15 dollars an hour that ppl advocate for #esp me bc i make less #and i rarely share opinions but i wanted her to consider like someone has to work those jobs and they should be paid a liveable wage #which is more than ppl currently are paid #and we should Also be paid more #shes sooo close
