It was a long night of drinking, dancing, singing, and more. Well, at least for most of the people at Elle and Micheal's wedding. Elle's sister, y/n, seemed to be one of the only people to not be recklessly drinking and partying. Elle noticed y/n sitting down at chair looking alone and bored. "You alright sis?"

"I'm fine," she looked up at Elle smiling softly.

"Sis, it's my wedding day and you look miserable!" Elle exclaims and practically forces her off her feet. "I'll ask the DJ to play some ABBA!" Y/n was never much of a big party person but since it was her sister's wedding, she decided to.

"Fine, only because you're my sister..." y/n sighed and Elle smiled. Elle dragged her sister up to the DJ booth requesting 'Dancing Queen by ABBA' and dragged her back out to the dance floor.

"Micheal knows the perfect person you can dance with just wait here!" Elle enthusiastically says and goes over to her newlywed husband, Micheal to go grab the guy. Y/n let out a sigh as she saw her sister and her brother-in-law grab a guy.

Elle comes back with a face. A face that looks oddly familiar. "Oh my god!" Y/n said looking shocked at the guy in front of her. It was no other than Carlos Sainz.

It wasn't a shock that he was a famous driver, it was the fact he was my ex-boyfriend.

"Y/n?"

"Carlos?"

"You two know each other?" Elle asked as she seemed happy I knew him already.

"You could say that..." Carlos said as he looked at him. Y/n couldn't tell if he was happy, sad, angry, or feeling any emotions at all.

"I'll leave you two to it then!" Elle smiled and patted her sister on the back then walked away smiling.

Carlos and y/n were never public with anyone. They only dated for two months but that was the best two months of both of their lives. Both Carlos and Y/n decided to call it off due to their work being chaotic. Y/n didn't want to travel all the time for his races and Carlos was gone all the time to visit her. Even though the pair weren't together long, it felt like they knew each other for years.

Friday nights and the lights are low

"So, do you want to...dance?" Carlos asked as he looked around the room and noticed the lights were dimmed as the music started to play.

"You know I was never a dancer." I looked at him and my lips slightly moved my lips into a smile.

He playfully swayed back and forth and snapped while smiling at her. "Come on, this is your favorite part!" Carlos exclaimed as his smile widened. Y/n couldn't help but smile too as she heard the chorus come up. Her too started to sway a bit with him. "Ready for it?" He asked her.

By the end end of the song, they were both dancing and singing along to the song. Elle and Micheal were looking from afar and noticed how much fun Carlos and Y/n were having.

"Digging the dancing!" Carlos and Y/n both were singing as they laughed and danced with each other. Her hands were around his neck and his on her waist. Both of their eyes look at each others like how they used to when they used to date.

That song reminded y/n of all the times she and Carlos danced together to that song at parties, in the kitchen, sang it in the car, and now danced at a wedding. It was their song. Not everyone could say that a song in their relationship was Dancing Queen by ABBA but that's what made it better. It was unique.

"Oh my, that was fun..." y/n looked up at Carlos' dark brown eyes and got lost in his gaze.

"You know, I missed you," he spoke, "I never wanted to let you go...do you think we could make it work if we tried?"

"You'd really want to?"

"Of course I would! You're always in my head! When I wake up, when I'm driving, when I'm looking at my text messages, before I sleep! It all leads back to you!" He said as he looked at her smiling.

Having the time of your life

Y/n sighed as she looked up at Carlos again. "You know, it wouldn't hurt to try, right?" Without any hesitation, Carlos leaned in to kiss her. The song was fading in the background as they shared this moment with each other.

"I'm so glad I found you again..." He admitted.

"Me too," she smiled at him.

for these past days i have felt a presence watching me. like one time when i went outside to check my mail box for any mail, i saw a package that i haven’t ordered. it was a perfume that i have wanted for a while, attached to a note, saying dear you, enjoy the perfume.

i have also felt someone behind me when i was on my daily jog on this path that i go on everyday, i hear cameras snapping, someones shoes clicking against the pavement.

right now im at a cafe finishing up on some college application papers, i hear a voice.

“hello, welcome to browns cafe, what can i help you with?” asks a tall man with tattoos on his arm.

“oh um can i just order a black coffee and a chocolate chip cookie” i look back down to my papers. why does he seem familiar?

i continue working on my college acceptance papers until my food arrives, i look to my left to see the same worker staring at me but he quickly looks back down to what he was doing.

once my food arrives i started packing up my stuff since i had to go to work anyway, i put my binder and my computer in my bag to head out, grabbing my coffee and my chocolate chip cookie was i leave through the door.

(matt pov)

i have gotten a new job at this coffee shop called browns cafe as a part time job, as im working i smell a perfume that i recognize, i look up to see her.

i quickly finish up with the order i was doing to go and ask her for her order.

“hello, welcome to browns cafe, what can i help you with?” i hold my note pad up to my chest, obviously i knew what she was gonna order, since she does come here every day thats why i got this job in the first place.

“oh um can i just order a black coffee and a chocolate chip cookie” i write it down on the note pad as i watch her continue writing on what she was working on.

i go back behind the cashier opening the bakery door and grabbing a chocolate chip cookie, i grab the black coffee and i hand it to her.

at that moment as she sat down looking so beautiful as she drank her coffee. sadly she left a few minutes later. i guess she had to go.

• 4 hours later

i have just gotten home from my shift, i run upstairs to turn on my computer to see what i have missed since i was gone this whole day.

i see her crying?

she was with her friend known as, katherin peirce, they’ve known each other since middle school, katherin does not live here she lives in arizona so she is here for visiting.

i can hear them since the camera that i have placed in the bear has a microphone.

“im so sorry for your loss” her friend breaking the silence other than y/n’s sobbing.

i get off the camera app and open up instagram to see that she has posted a photo of her and her ex boyfriend. captioning “rest in piece hunter”

how did he die?

The thing is though. They wouldn’t stay as they are. It would change and have no choice but to change. With how they are now, and how they have been the last 6 years, the things they get from each other, the emotional support, the investment, the open vulnerability and honesty, the being there when the other needs, those would all be regulated to their romantic partner. Because that’s what they essentially fill for each other. You give them actual adjusted healthy relationships and that’s not needed anymore. If Buck has someone who is totally accepting and safe and supportive, someone to build a family with, then he will turn to them first, not Eddie. You give Eddie that and now he’s got someone to turn to first for help with Chris. Chris has someone to go to other than Eddie when he needs help. The will? In this scenario realistically Eddie wouldn’t leave it as Buck. It’s gonna be changed to his actual partner. And I’m not directing this at you specifically so I’m sorry if it seems that way. But when people say “I’m fine with buddie not happening now but only as long as it doesn’t change things” they need to realize it’s impossible for that to happen. Sure they would still be best friends and I have no doubt they’d show up if needed or Chris needs but it won’t be the same or as much and all those little moments we’ve gotten from them over the years will be gone because those roles will be filled by others.

Short version of this reply: best friends are not 'fillers' until romantic partners show up, Chris can have more than two parents - Buck won't stop being who he is to Chris even if buddie never go romantically canon. However Anon, realistically, I know that your point of view is how the majority of people will think so is likely what would happen in the show, but it doesn't mean I have to like it, or can't hope things would be different.

Anon. I understand what you're saying, and I understand that - sadly, in my personal opinion - this is the reality, and probably what would happen on the show. Which is a small part of why I am rooting for canon romantic buddie, because I know that the only way they are gonna stay as close as they currently are is if they get together.

Also there's a reason I started that post with 'this may be the aroace side of me talking'. Because the idea that buddie would get less close if they get significant, good, long term romantic partners makes me wonder if I'm just a - to use your phrasing - 'filler' in my friends lives until they get significant romantic partners. So maybe this hit too close too home, maybe I'm taking this too personally.

But still...

In my opinion:

Romantic relationships shouldn't be seen as superior, or the goal result. Friends can - and should - be just as important.

Aroace people - or anyone who doesn't want to be in a relationship - are not 'fillers' until people find their romantic partners.

Also, re the Chris of it all: more people for a kid is never going to be a bad thing. 'You give Eddie that and now he’s got someone to turn to first for help with Chris. Chris has someone to go to other than Eddie when he needs help.' Respectfully, no. Chris has ANOTHER person to go to other than Eddie. He's not going to stop going to Buck, loving Buck, because he's got another adult in his life that loves him.

And even if Eddie gets remarried, there's no guarantee that he would change his will. My stepmum is not who I would have gone to if my parents died. I love my stepmum, she's great, an amazing mum to my stepsisters, but I know that she wouldn't have become my guardian if my parents died. So maybe Eddie gets remarried and still decides that Buck is the best person for Chris, is still the person who would fight the hardest for him.

So yeah, I get where you're coming from, and know that this is the reality of the majority of people's viewpoint. But I'm still holding out hope that IF buddie don't go canon, they can stay as close as they are.

First off! I wanna go ahead and drop some fun art stuff I’ve been doing as I’ve been watching Dragons Rising season 2, which I’ve been loving!

I did a version of Arin before but it wasn’t my favorite so a redo! More AlleyCat stuff and obligatory Cole, because I love him.

I do have more Ninjago Art I want to do (Still need to finish that Cole and Morro friend piece-) and I have some other fandom art I also want to do, but I’ll explain more under the cut as well as why I’ve been gone or a bit less active everywhere. This is optional you do not have to read under the cut!

TW// Transphobia

For those unaware I am a trans man, I go by a different name: both online and IRL (online for privacy’s sake), I also work as a barista due to being a college student and needing to save money for moving away from my own transphobic parents. That’s a whole other story. But at work there was a coworker of mine who was consistently transphobic towards me whenever we worked together. It had been going on since June of last year (The irony of it starting during pride month made me and my friends laugh) but it escalated after I returned from New York, so much so I had to go to management.

Myself. Management had been informed by my best friend (who also works with me) about it and was told it was “gossip”. Ok. Sure- So I informed management of the new incidents and was told I had options, the first being to have a meeting with me, the transphobe, and my manager to discuss the issues. I said no so my manager went to the DM to find another solution. To give even more context, the transphobe couldn’t even be transphobic to my face most times it was always told behind my back to my best friend.

That’s how I knew my manager talked to the transphobe one on one, cause the transphobe right after the meeting went to said best friend. Telling her “not to tell me as she didn’t want to start drama” Cool, I feel so cool. I was very mad, went back to my manager with it, had that meeting with myself, the transphobe, and manager. Where my emotions were downplayed and the transphobe said she had “never interacted with a trans person before and didn’t know what she said was wrong.” OK.

SURE.

After that we assumed it was over, my manager made an incident report, but it didn’t stop the transphobe still kept talking behind my back to others. Despite me talking respectfully of her. More context all the talking behind my back happened at work while on the clock. After a while I just went about my day, then Ethics and Compliance called. They spoke to everyone involved, including me and I relayed more about my testimony. They said they would be investigating and I assumed it would take a while, then finally. I was informed that the transphobe was in fact fired.

This whole situation, along with other personal stuff going on with me, caused so much stress. To the point I tended to fallback into habits I had thought I fixed, mainly regarding my physical health. Even at points hating myself for just existing and having been born wrong.

I’m thankfully doing so much better now and have recently gotten diagnosed with Autism, something I knew I had but didn’t fully understand for a while. I’ve been getting better existing in a world knowing the people that are my blood hate me, knowing that eventually, I will never be able to be loved by my parents or sister. I have friends and coworkers who support me and I want to support other people in this community.

With that said I’m back to making more art! I’m building a portfolio for animation and to intern next year, I also will be trying to post more animations to here when I finish them! I also will still be active in the Ninjago fandom, I’ve loved this show since it came out in 2011 y’all can pry it from my cold dead hands-

But I do want to make more original work, I want to do more Star Wars work, QSMP art and animations, and more Musical Theater art whether it be Broadway or Indie productions. I hope people enjoy what I make, especially some of my original characters as I’ve gotten to work on Cybernetic more thanks to my animation class. You’ll see more of it as we go!

its been a million years. percy has gone from young millenial to squarely gen z. i think that while he’s up on that mountain demanding the gods pay their fucking child support, he should tell hera at the top of his sixteen year old pipsqueak lungs that polyamory is a thing now and she doesn’t have to define her marriage the traditional way if she doesn’t want to. she’s the goddess of all marriages! that includes these modern ones too!!

hera is like zeus would you agree to an open relationship zeus is like SOLD i have been trying to do this for years, completely neglects to read the fine print that this goes two ways before signing on the dotted line for this deal with the prada wearing devil because fundamentally, zeus is an asshole

hera starts hooking up with committed married couples and having SUPREMELY powerful demigod children. they are all her favorites and she lavishes them with powers and gifts and attention. she has, unlike the other gods, no millenia of experience with mortal children to temper her reaction, and so this whole move honestly causes more problems than not.

meanwhile hades and persephone; poeseidon and amphirite; dionysus and ariadne; all of them have been trying to talk to hera about this thing for DECADES and then perseus fucking protagonist powers jackson comes in and turns a quarter of a century into wasted work.

Kagami made Adrien realize she’s a lesbian because she called him her “boyfriend” and he flinched and she was like “oh shoot what’s wrong” and he was like “i dont know, boyfriend is a really weird word for some reason” And because she’s Kagami, instead of being like “oh he clearly doesn’t want me” she just sat him down immediately and started googling Other Words and trying All of Them, and then she tried “do you want to be my girlfriend?” on a whim and he was like “holy shit this has awoken something in me.” And then kagami was like “oh huh i may be a lesbian.”
