Acc to spare, when does Harry actually claim he proposed to Meghan?? And when did he claim to have asked the queen for permission? I believe she said "I spoke I have to say yes then" to his question.
From whatever i had read so far, I thought the permission happened in Scotland, or just after the queen got back from Balmoral. So sometime late August or early September 2017. And the proposal happened in Sept 2017. So right around the time you say the BRF Archie page was forst set up. And when suits not being renewed rumours started. What do you think was happening there? Meghan finally got her claws all in and started flexing about how she will be one of the KP bosses soon?
So below the jump are excerpts from both Spare and Tom Bower's Revenge on Harry asking The Queen for permission and the proposal.
But essentially, both works contradict each other and the key dates mentioned don't line up to the September 4, 2017 date from the webpage.
In Spare:
Harry says that Meghan and The Queen met at the Royal Lodge "by accident" in October 2016 - he was taking Meghan to meet Fergie, there were no corgis, Meghan's curtsy was flawless, and The Queen asked about Donald Trump.
Harry writes that he asked The Queen for permission to marry Meghan at the end of October in Sandringham on a shoot. This would have been the weekend of October 27 - 29, 2017.
He proposed on November 4th shortly after Meghan officially moved to London. (It sounds like he proposed maybe between 1-3 days after she moved.) Harry writes that they kept the engagement a secret for about two weeks, but the way he wrote it, it's dripping with a kind of venom, in a way, that makes one wonder if the engagement was leaked or if they were forced to announce the engagement when they did.
But when you look at the calendar, two weeks after November 4th is November 18th - a whole nine days before the official announcement. So what happened to the missing week?
In Revenge:
Bower presents them going to The Queen for permission to marry as a kind of fait accompli - it sounds like they were engaged first, then went to see The Queen for permission at Buckingham Palace and that this meeting was also Meghan's first introduction to The Queen.
Bower says this happened at the end of October, 2 weeks after the Invictus Games ended on October 12th. This would be the weekend of October 27-29, 2017 - so at least the dates that the Queen was asked for permission align between Harry's version and Bower's version.
The corgis were there in Bower's version of events. (Which aligns with Harry saying the corgis were there the first time he introduced Meghan to The Queen in the engagement interview.)
Bower also suggests that The Queen felt she had to say yes because of Meghan's PR saying they had already met; ergo, that the Queen felt she couldn't say no because it would have been a Thing.
It is interesting that Bower specifically calls out the 2017 Invictus Games ending on October 12 when the official record has it ending on September 30. It's most likely a factchecking error, but it's surprising coming from Bower.
Quotes below the jump!
Quick note first - I cannot stand how they formatted Spare, so in the sections below, I'm using my own formatting to make it a much more sensical (to me, at least) read. If you read Spare yourself, you will see that the formatting is a tragedeigh.
In Spare, Harry describes Meghan meeting the Queen in Part 3, Chapter 15:
Meg came back to London a week later. October 2016. We lunched with [Mark Dwyer] and his family, and I introduced her to a few other close mates. All good. Everyone loved her. Emboldened, I felt the time had come for her to meet my family. She agreed. First stop, Royal Lodge. o meet Fergie, because Meg already knew Fergie's daughter Euge, and Jack, so this seemed a logical baby step. But as we neared Royal Lodge, I got word on my phone. Granny was there. She'd popped in. On her way home from church back to the castle. Meg said: "Fun! I love grandmas." I asked if she knew how to curtsy. She said she thought so. But she also couldn't tell if I was serious. "You're about to meet the Queen." "I know, but it's your grandma." "But she's the Queen." We pulled into the driveway, drove across the gravel, parked next to the big green box hedge. Fergie came outside, somewhat aflutter, and said: "Do you know how to curtsy?" Meg shook her head. Fergie demonstrated once. Meg imitated her. there wasn't time for a more advanced tutorial. We couldn't keep Granny waiting. As we walked towards the door, Fergie and I both leaned into Meg, whispering quick reminders. "When you first meet the Queen, it's Your Majesty. Thereafter it's just Ma'am. Rhymes with ham." (Quick aside: I'm pretty sure they did not say this. This is 100% the script from the movie, The Queen, and I'm pretty sure it's verbatim.) "Just, whatever you do, don't talk over her," we both said, talking over each other. We entered the large front sitting room and there she was. Granny. THe monarch. Queen Elizabeth II. Standing in the middle of the room. She turned slightly. Meg went straight to her and dropped a deep, flawless curtsy. "Your Majesty. Pleasure to meet you."
(Harry goes on to describe how The Queen asked Meghan about Donald Trump, since this was right before the 2016 election, and Meghan expertly pivoted to Canada and the Commonwealth. There are no dogs present in Harry's recollection of Meghan's introduction to The Queen.)
Harry describes the engagement beginning in Part 3 - Chapter 32. It takes place sometime after the 2017 Invictus Games. Harry calls Ed Lane Fox, his former private secretary, 'Elf.'
I told Elf and Jason that I wanted to propose. Congratulations, both men said. But then Elf said he'd need to do some fast digging to find out the protocols. There were strict rules governing such things. Rules? Really? He came back days later and said before doing anything I'd need to ask Granny's permission. I asked him if that was a real rule, or the kind we could work around. "Oh no, it's very real." (Harry describes how self-absorbed he is and recaps some plot points from The Crown.) And so, heart full of fear, mouth full of dust, I turned to the calendar. With Elf's help I circled a weekend in late October. A family shooting trip at Sandringham. Shooting trips always put Granny in a good mood. Perhaps she'd be more open to thoughts of love? (Harry talks about how he thinks Charles and William would talk him out of asking The Queen to marry Meghan if they knew he was going to do it and he recaps how William had been "pretty discouraging" about the relationship. Then he blathers on about how Charles told him there's no money to support Meghan and how Charles doesn't like anyone taking attention from him. He describes the shoot and how anxious he is to get time alone with The Queen.) After the final drive the party scattered. Everyone finished picking up their birds and returned to the Land Rovers. I saw Granny jump into her smaller Range Rover and drive out to the middle of the stubble field. She began looking for dead birds, while her dogs hunted. There was no security around her, so this looked to be my chance. I walked out to the middle of the stubble field, fell in alongside her, began helping. (blah blah blah, interior monologue, my heart cannot go on without Meg but I can't disobey my Queen.) I realized that I needed to get to it, without one second more of hesitation, so as Granny lowered the tailgate, as the dogs leaped up, as I thought of petting them but then remembered I had (description of dead birds and more interior monologing about how much he loved The Queen)...I saw her waitingf for me to speak--and not waiting patiently. Her face radiated: "Out with it." I coughed. "Granny, you know I love Meg very much, and I've decided that I would like to ask her to marry me, and I've been told that, er, that I have to ask your permission before I can propose." "You have to?" "Um. Well, yes, that's what your staff tell me, and my staff as well. That I have to ask your permission." I stood completely still, as motionless as the birds in my hands. I stared at her face but it was unreadable. At last she replied: "Well, then, I suppose I have to say yes."
Harry goes on to describe how offended he is by her reaction and admits he's so self-absorbed he doesn't realize it was permission granted.
Chapter 34 is about a time Harry and Meghan hosted William and Kate for dinner. William had a cold, Meghan offered her homeopathic "cures" and William found it charming while Kate was rude, and describes Meghan being in ripped jeans while Kate is dressed up. Chapter 35 is Harry's narration of Meghan moving to London and his description of how he proposed: outside in the garden because he wanted it to be like when they were in Botswana:
We hurried inside, finished our celebration in the warmth of the kitchen. It was November 4. We managed to keep it secret for about two weeks.
From Revenge, Tom Bower writes in Chapter 19:
To please Harry, the Queen agreed to ditch centuries of tradition. Meghan would be fast-tracked into the Royal Family before the wedding. Two weeks after the Invictus Games ended on 12th October, Harry introduced Meghan to the Queen in Buckingham Palace. Over tea and sandwiches, the monarch formally approved her grandson's engagement. The 91 year old had no choice. Apparently, she had already met Meghan in Windsor Park. In a fleeting, unexpected encounter, Meghan would claim to have performed an unrehearsed botched curtsey. During the formal meeting in the Palace, Harry would describe how the Queen's corgis, who had for the previous 33 years barked at him, lay at Meghan's feet and wagged their tales. Meghan described the scene as 'very sweet.' (Meghan moves to London. Bower talks about how the institution isn't welcoming to married-ins. They ran off Diana, Fergie, and Anne's first husband, and threatened to do the same to Kate till William laid down the law.) Meghan was the beneficiary of those misjudgements. In anticipation of the engagement's formal announcement, Palace officials agreed that to ease her transition into the family she needed guidance about the restrictions accepted by all members of the Royal Family. Harry would claim that he had forewarned Meghan: 'You know what you're letting yourself in for. It's a big deal and it's not easy for anybody.' If so, no one directly asked Meghan whether she understood that the British monarchy had only survived - with the support of 70 per cent of Britons - by seaking to remain soberly uncontroversial. No one spelled out to her that monarchists were unaware that most of the changes made to ensure the Crown's modernisation and survival had been imperceptible. But then, no one recalls that Meghan asked any detailed questions before the engagement was officially announced on 27th November, 2017.

You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
But I never thought I'd live to see it break
~
Everything changed when Jughead moved to the South Side. Of course, she couldn't blame him for moving, she knew he had to. With his dad behind bars for a murder he didn't even commit and not being able to stay at the Andrews household any longer, he didn't have a choice in moving. Living in his dad's trailer was better than staying with a foster family whom he didn't know, though living on opposite sides of town and now attending different schools meant they saw less and less of each other. And to be completely honest, Y/N missed him so much. She missed having him stay over at her house before school since her house wasn't far from Archie's. She missed waking up with him in the mornings, being greeted with lazy kisses and warm hugs. She missed sitting with him in class, helping him in math and getting his help in English literature. She missed after school dates at Pop's; sharing each other's milkshakes and helping him write his novel.
But once he'd moved, the cracks in their relationship started to appear. At first it was just missed phone calls and being left on read, though soon it developed to frequent arguments, being stood up on dates for the Serpents, and just not seeing each other much anymore. It hurt her, because she missed her once perfect boyfriend, who was now so caught up with his new school and his imprisoned father's gang to give any sort of time or attention to her. Maybe it was selfish, but Y/N wanted him to focus on her, and not anybody else, even if just for one night. She could tell that their relationship was headed downhill, though she thought that it would be fixable. They had been through so much already, surely this wouldn't break them apart, right?
~
It's getting dark and it's all too quiet
And I can't trust anything now
And it's comin' over you like it's all a big mistake
~
Y/N frowned down at the Pop's menu sat on the table in front of her, scowling at the small printed words there. This was the third time he'd missed one of their dates, or just forgotten about it all together. She was guessing it was the latter, as Jughead had been too wrapped up in the Serpents and with Toni Topaz to think of anything else. She was certain that he was getting bored of her, or tired of her company. He was hanging around with a gang now, his people, so surely his plain old north-side girlfriend was getting tiresome? She took a glance out of the window beside her seat, seeing that the sky was darkening into evening - dark oranges and blues swirled together as the sun went down like an artist mixing paint on a canvas. When she'd gotten to Pop's it was still daylight, but he had taken so long to show that now it was getting dark.
Before she knew it, disappointed tears were brimming in her eyes, and a lump was forming in her throat. Why couldn't he just spare a few hours to go and see her? At first, she had given him the time he quite clearly needed, and the benefit of the doubt. He had just moved and he was adjusting, and she got that, but now it had been weeks and there was still no effort put in from his end. It wasn't like he was even a proper member of the Serpents, so she just didn't get it.
After another few minutes she had paid for the one milkshake she had drank and the one that had been left sitting on the table untouched, that was meant for Jughead, and then left the diner. It was cold outside, the kind of cold that seeped through your clothes and gave you goosebumps. Though she already felt the cold disappointment that had been sticking with her for weeks, now. On the colder days before Jughead had moved, he would give her his denim jacket as they walked to Pop's after school, but just the thought of that now made her want to start crying. She couldn't remember the last time she had been wrapped in his jacket, or even his arms for that matter.
Before she knew what she was doing, Y/N had pulled her phone out and called him, anger washing over her and replacing the sadness she felt. He picked up after six rings. Usually it would only take one.
"Y/N?" He asked, no 'love' or 'baby'. "Can I call you back later? I'm with the Serpents."
"Couldn't you have spared one night from the Serpents to show up to our date?" She scoffed, lifting her free hand to wipe her eyes which were now streaming with tears.
"What?" Jughead asked, sounding confused. "We didn't have a date today."
"Yes we did." Y/N sniffled, her lip quivering when realising he'd forgotten. "This is the third one you've missed for Christ's sake, Jug. I shouldn't trust anything you even say, anymore."
"I'm sorry I've been busy." He huffed, sounding more irritated than anything.
"Yeah, you're always busy now." She swallowed back the lump forming in her throat. "Too busy to come and see your girlfriend anymore."
"Y/N, come on-"
Before he could say anymore she cut the call off, not ready to hear it. Once her phone was back in her pocket she covered her mouth with her hands as she started crying, her chest heaving with each choked sob that passed her lips. Soon it hurt, though nothing hurt as bad as the sadness consuming her from realising he didn't love her like he used to.
~
Holding my breath, won't lose you again
Something's made your eyes go cold
~
It was almost midnight when Y/N heard the rumble of a motorbike turning into her street corner, before she heard the noise cut off right outside her house. It wasn't unusual for Jughead to come and see her after a fight, though it was unusual for them to fight so often. The most they had ever argued before the move was when his father had first been arrested, but she understood that he was just so stressed with everything that he was lashing out at people. Though this was different.
Y/N hadn't moved from her bed since she had gotten home. She hadn't even changed out of her clothes, she had just gotten into her bed and cried. She was still crying by the time she heard her window being pushed open further and someone stepping into her room. Y/N had the covers over her head so she couldn't see him approaching, though she felt the bed dip when he sat down beside her, and felt his hand rubbing her back through the covers. She sat up just enough to turn and move her arms around him, pressing her face into his chest as she started crying again, holding onto him tightly.
"I'm sorry." She heard him whisper into her hair as he wrapped his arms around her shaking body, which only made her cry harder. Did he really mean that? She couldn't be sure.
"Do- do you still love me?" Y/N couldn't help but ask through the tears, needing to know. It felt like he didn't, or that he was loving her less and less every day.
"Of course I still love you." Jughead sighed, his hand lifting to gently run his fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry I've been so distant lately, I've been busy sorting out stuff at South Side High and with the Serpents. I really didn't mean to forget about meeting up with you, okay?"
Y/N sniffled a little as she nodded, just holding onto him a little tighter. Whether she completely forgave him or not was a different question, though she was willing to give him another chance to prove that he really did mean what he said.
"Hey." He said softly, moving his hand underneath her chin to tilt her head upwards. Her red-rimmed eyes locked with his and she watched his expression soften somewhat when he took in her features, though there was something about his eyes that made her stomach swirl with uneasiness. They were just so cold and unlike him. Maybe he didn't really mean what he had said.
~
Come on, come on don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Something's gone terribly wrong, you're all I wanted
Come on, come on don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Can't breathe whenever you're gone
Can't turn back, now I'm haunted
~
After that night, Jughead had promised to make it up to her and come and see her the following weekend at Pop's. And to be honest, she really needed it. Her week had gone absolutely horribly, with Betty suddenly becoming cold and distant towards her. Y/N couldn't fathom why Betty had become so cruel to her; she just knew that the last time herself and the Cooper girl had spoken, it had ended in a long string of insults from Betty then her walking off. So she could really do with her boyfriend's comfort, after her best friend clearly didn't want to be around her anymore.
Y/N sipped on her milkshake at Pop's as she waited for Jughead to show up, his drink sat untouched opposite her on the other side of the table. Once she had hit the ten minute mark she began to grow worried that he wasn't going to show, but thankfully she spotted him pulling into the parking lot of Pop's after she had heard the rumble of his motorcycle outside. A smile was painted over her lips as she waited for him to walk inside, though it quickly faded once she had caught sight of him.
His face was full of cuts and bruises, most of them looking extremely painful. At first she had been worried that he had been in a fight with somebody at his school, though her stomach sank when seeing the leather jacket he was wearing. The leather Serpents jacket.
He had clearly caught sight of her expression, as Jughead sighed as he slipped into the seat opposite her own. "Y/N, I meant to tell you-"
"That you'd joined the gang you told me you wouldn't?" She whispered, her eyebrows furrowed with disbelief. "Why would you do that? They're dangerous, Jug, they're a biker gang. Are you kidding me?"
"They aren't dangerous." He frowned. "They're like family."
"They're like family?" She scoffed. "Oh, and I'm not anymore?"
"Hey, I didn't say that." Jughead frowned a little more.
"Maybe you didn't say it, but you've been meaning it for weeks!" She practically exploded, sitting up in her seat as her waterline burned with the build up of tears again. "When was the last time we both properly hung out together, hm? Or ate dinner together? Or even spoke to each other without arguing?"
"I told you I've been busy, with-"
"With the Serpents, yeah I know." Y/N scoffed. "You never have time for me anymore, and that's all I'm asking for. I miss you, Jug. You could have at least told me that the reason you were too busy to spare a few hours for me is because you were joining a fucking gang."
"What is your issue with the Serpents?" He snapped defensively, making her flinch at the harshness of his voice.
"You said you wouldn't join them, you promised me, remember that?" She asked. "Oh, but maybe you don't, since you seem to be forgetting a lot recently." She huffed, lifting a hand to wipe away the tears that had started falling. "They are dangerous, Jughead, have you even looked in the mirror recently? If you had to do that to join then what else might you have to do now that you're involved?"
"Will you give it a rest?" Jughead snapped, causing her to flinch once more. "Like it or not, I'm a Serpent now, okay? And I'm sorry that since I have this thing called responsibilities now that I can't spend every minute of the day with you."
"I didn't say that, Jug." She whispered, more tears falling. "I just miss you, we never see each other anymore and when we do it's... it's like you're a different person."
"Yeah? Well if I'm so different then why don't you just find yourself a new boyfriend, then. One that fits the criteria." Jughead scowled as he got out of his seat, shaking his head as he looked at her.
"Hey, wait." Y/N whispered, also getting out of her seat. "Don't go, Jug, I'm sorry." She whispered, reaching out to touch his arm.
Jughead was still frowning as he pulled away from her touch immediately, shaking his head as he just turned away and walked out of the diner, leaving her stood crying as she watched him leave.
~
Stood there and watched you walk away
From everything we had
But I still mean every word I said to you
~
Despite everything Jughead had said, they didn't break up. A few days later Jughead had stopped by her house to apologise, and for once it looked like he meant it. He had been close to tears himself as he ranted to her about everything, but mostly about how sorry he was and how he couldn't stand to lose her. By the end of the conversation she was crying too, and she had agreed to give him another chance. Maybe by this point she should have noticed just how many chances she had given him recently, and saved herself from any future hurt by breaking up with him, though she couldn't do it. She physically couldn't be without him, it pained her to even think about it.
Everything was good for a while. Betty had given her an explanation as to why she had been acting so funny, and definitely one she hadn't been expecting at that - as she had been getting phone calls from the Black Hood - the infamous serial killer who had taken up occupation in Riverdale over the past however many weeks. Whilst it was a complete and utter shock, she had immediately forgiven Betty, as she understood that she had become distant from Y/N so that the Black Hood wouldn't kill her. And things with Jughead had gotten better. Whilst he was still different to the soft and loving boy she had known before the move, he was clearly making an effort, and that mattered a lot to her.
Jughead had been especially better once his father was out of jail. It was a huge relief for everybody to have FP out, and whilst his return meant Jughead having to step up as Serpent King, Y/N was making an effort to try and understand the Serpents more, so she had been helping Jughead plan FP's retirement party in the Whyte Worm.
Though she had also been meeting up with Toni Topaz there, who was helping her learn the Serpent dance for her own initiation.
Whilst she still wasn't too fond of the Serpents, she wanted to be there for Jughead to make sure he didn't end up getting hurt or imprisoned like his father, so she had agreed to do the extremely sexist 'Serpent dance' and partially join the gang to keep an eye on her boyfriend.
Even though she wanted to keep him safe, on the night of the party she felt horrible. On her way to the bar she felt nauseated at even just the thought of stripping into lingerie and dancing in front of a whole bar of gang members, but once she was there she felt even worse. The smell of alcohol once she had walked into the building was sickening, and it only made her worse. She was almost convinced enough to leave altogether, though once she saw her boyfriend approaching she knew there was no way of getting out of it now.
"Hey." He smiled once he had reached her, planting his hands at her waist as he leaned down to give her a kiss - thankfully the action helped calm her a little. "You look amazing."
The compliment made her blush a little, as she was only wearing a peach skirt and white blouse, though she couldn't help but wonder what he would be thinking later once she had revealed what she was dressed in underneath the good-girl outfit.
Soon the party was in full swing, and somehow she had managed to lose Jughead in the crowd, though she had managed to find Toni sat at the bar instead. Whilst she wasn't extremely fond of the Topaz girl, she was grateful that she had wanted to help her out with the dance.
"Hey north-sider." Toni greeted once she had sat at the bar, stood on the other side of it. "How're you feeling?"
"Like I'm about to throw up or pass out." Y/N told her, scanning the room for a moment before looking back at the pink-haired girl. "Give me something." She tapped the bar, hoping a drink would help. She didn't even drink - but Y/N was hoping that some alcohol would help calm her nerves.
"Are you sure?" Toni asked as she started pouring a liquor into a shot glass for her. "You don't exactly look like you can hold your drink."
"Please, I need some confidence right now, and if that means drinking to get some then so be it." She sighed.
"Alright then." Toni placed the glass on the bar in front of her, looking a little concerned.
Y/N lifted the glass and eyed the liquid for a moment before lifting it to her lips and knocking back the whole drink in one. It burned it's way down her throat and made her start to cough at the horrible feeling, though despite that she put the glass back on the bar and tapped it, signalling that she wanted another.
"Another?" Toni asked. "Are you sure? Maybe that's not the best idea."
"Please, Toni. I won't be able to do this completely sober." She sighed.
Toni just nodded and started to pour her another one, though as she did Y/N's attention was soon locked on the stage a little away from the bar, seeing Veronica and Archie stood there with the Karaoke machine that Y/N had managed to hire for the party earlier in the week. Tearing her gaze away she took the second shot pretty quickly. It still burned horribly on the way down, though she didn't start coughing again. By the time she had taken her third shot, Veronica and Archie had ran off of the stage mid-song, and Y/N had left the bar to quickly move onto the stage, once Toni had said that it was now or never.
Once she was up on the stage she had managed to meet Jughead's confused eyes in the sea of people, and somehow she didn't tear her gaze as she started singing the rest of the song as she unbuttoned her blouse. Y/N tried her best to look seductive and confident as she stripped herself of her clothes and started dancing, and the alcohol did help a lot with that. She was able to focus solely on the dancing as she moved over to the pole on the middle of the stage and spun around it twice, before lowering herself down onto the floor in front of it. The mass amount of people watching her didn't even phase her as she had moved back to the microphone to sing the last few notes of the song, though once she met Jughead's eyes again she felt her stomach sink with nausea. He had that same cold look in his eye again, the one that looked like he had lost all of his love for her.
After the dance was over Y/N had left with her clothes to change in the bathroom of the Wyrm, missing the speech that FP had started as afterwards she went to stand outside by Jughead's motorbike to cool off. It wasn't long before she spotted Jughead walking out of the back entrance of the bar to come and join her, his expression one she couldn't even read. She could just see that he was not happy, not at all.
"Hey," She said softly as he approached, though was met with no reply once he was stood in front of her. "What's wrong? Was it the dance?"
"It's everything." His voice broke as he shook his head. "And yeah. Why would you do that?"
"I wanted to be a part of this." She told him. "The Serpents, your world."
"Why?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing as he frowned at her. The expression made her uneasy, as it was one she was all too familiar with recently. "Archie knew to cut bait. Now I'm dragging you down. I'm dragging my dad down."
"He's still figuring it out." She told him softly, trying to muster up a genuine sympathetic smile. "And it's gonna be okay, we'll figure out whatever we have to do together." Y/N reached out to place her hands on his chest, though frowned when he had immediately stepped backwards.
"No, Y/N. Mm-Mm." He shook his head. "Not together."
The words struck her like he had just slapped her around the face. Her head tilted a little as a sudden coldness rushed over her body, nausea swirling around her stomach once again. Was he really about to break up with her?
"Y/N, if you stay, I don't know if I can protect you anymore. You might get-" Jughead paused as he ran a hand over his mouth, before planting both of them on her shoulders. "You probably will get hurt. I can't let that happen to you."
Y/N felt her waterline burning with a build up of tears as she stared back at him, starting to shake her head. "That's not your decision to make." She practically whispered.
"Actually, yeah it is." He stepped backwards as he spoke, the painful cold gaze returning to his eyes.
"How many times, Jug?" Y/N asked as the tears started falling down her cheeks, her voice becoming wobbly with emotion. "How many times are we going to push each other away?" She gave a light push to his chest as she spoke, taking in a light breath as she tried to stop the tears.
"Until it sticks." The harshness in his voice just made more tears fall as her expression crumpled. "This was my dad's one chance at going straight, and I wrecked it. I'm not going to destroy you, too." He moved to turn and walk away, though Y/N started following instead.
"Just tell me what happened, Jug." Her voice broke as she moved to grab his jacket and turn him around, tears cascading down her face faster as she reached up to cup his face in her hands. "Tell me."
"Please," His voice was weak, and she could see that he was holding back tears, too. "Go home."
Jughead stared at her for another moment before pulling away from her hold, and turning away to walk back into the bar. Y/N couldn't stop the oncoming wave of sobs as she watched him walk away and head back into the bar, her heart aching as she covered her face with her hands. She felt like somebody had just ripped out her chest. He wasn't her's anymore, and she wasn't his.
~
He will try to take away my pain
And he just might make me smile
But the whole time I'm wishin' he was you instead
~
The next day, Y/N had found out on the same night that Veronica had broken up with Archie too. She had been at Pop's trying to fight back a fresh wave of tears, when Archie had taken a seat beside her and started up a conversation with her. She eventually just broke into a fresh wave of tears as she tried explaining to Archie what had happened, and he had moved his arms around her to hug her, trying to comfort her in the best way he could. Though it felt wrong - his arms felt different to Jughead's, they were more muscular and harder. That fact alone just made her cry harder as she held onto Archie, as she wished it was Jughead sat with her instead. But she couldn't seem to let go of Archie - needing the reassuring contact even if it wasn't from the right person. So she just held onto him tightly as she cried, silently wishing it was Jughead instead.
~
Oh, oh, holding my breath, won't see you again
Something keeps me holding on to nothing
~
Y/N returned to Pop's the day after, hoping to catch Archie there again. Though as she had walked though the doors of the diner, instead of seeing her red-haired friend, she saw Toni sat at the table beside her usual one instead. She frowned as she looked at her, knowing she probably knew about what her gone down between herself and Jughead at FP’s retirement party. She had tried to walk part Toni without being noticed, though just sighed when she heard her call her name.
“Y/N?” She asked, causing the girl to force a smile as she turned to face her. “Listen, I’m sorry about what happened between you and Jug at the party.”
“It’s fine.” Y/N shook her head. It wasn’t fine, far from it, but she wasn’t about to stand and talk to Toni Topaz about her feelings, of all people. “It’s probably been a long-time coming.” She sighed.
“Listen, I-“
“Y/N?” Another voice came from behind her, an all too familiar voice, causing Y/N to frown as she turned around and saw Jughead stood there. She hadn’t seen him since the night he’d broken up with her, and hadn’t planned on seeing him for a long while, knowing she wouldn’t be able to handle it. Though instead of tears of sadness filling her eyes like she thought would happen, angry tears filled them together as she put two and two together. She glanced between him and Toni, and just shook her head as the tears started falling. He was meeting up with her, not even three days after they had broken up.
“Nice.” She whispered. “Rub salt in the wound, why don’t you?”
“What?” Jughead asked, before his eyes widened as he looked at Toni before back at her. “Y/N-“
“I don’t want to hear it, Jughead.” Y/N shook her head as the tears fell faster, quickly stepping past him and towards the exit of the diner to head outside. Her vision quickly became blurred with tears as she walked, breathing becoming a difficult task as she pushed back any verbal cries trying to escape.
“Y/N wait!” Jughead called after her. “It’s not what you think, please.”
Y/N turned around to face him as she started full-on crying, despite trying not to. “No, Jughead, I don’t care!” She shouted through her tears, her whole body starting to shake. “Just leave me alone, okay? I can’t be around you right now.”
Whilst Jughead stumbled over his words trying to say something, Y/N just turned around and walked away as she started sobbing freely.
~
Come on, come on don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Something's gone terribly wrong, you're all I wanted
Come on, come on don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Can't breathe whenever you're gone
Can't turn back, now I'm haunted
~
By the time Y/N had gotten home, she was a mess. Her chest hurt with each rough cry that passed her lips but she couldn’t stop. Weeks of emotional torture she’d endured, watching Jughead fall out of love with her, and just as things had started to seem okay he’d broken up with her. He had said it was to protect her, because he couldn’t let her get hurt, but was that really the reason? Or was he really just not in love with her? And wanted to be with Toni instead?
Once she had managed to get to her room she just slammed the door and fell to her floor, her hands covering her face as she hunched over. Everywhere hurt; her chest, her throat, her eyes, her heart. She felt like screaming, screaming for hours until her throat was raw and she couldn’t make anymore noise. Though she couldn’t physically stop the sobs long enough to even try to scream.
Her hands were shaking once she’d moved them from her face to plant them on her bedroom floor to stable herself, the shakes travelling up her arms and through her body until her entire frame was quivering with the agonising pain she felt. The tears couldn’t seem to stop, either. It felt like she had been crying ever since the break up, and for the most part she had.
“You’re not gone.“ She sobbed, hitting the floor with her palms before hunching over again as she continued crying. “You can’t be gone!“ The words mixed in with her crying to the point where she sounded like a wounded animal, begging for death. And in a way, she felt like it. Y/N didn’t think she could survive without Jughead by her side.
~
You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
Never ever thought I'd see it break
Never thought I'd see it
~
Another week passed before she saw Jughead again. The first time she had seen him after the break up it had been an accident, though this time he had asked to meet up with her, and for some reason said yes. Y/N tried telling herself that she had agreed to go simply because she was curious about what he had to say, though the real reason was because she was hoping he wanted to meet up with her to get back together.
For once, Jughead was there before her, though the scene looked so odd. For a start, he wasn’t even wearing his signature beanie - just the Serpent jacket that looked so foreign to her. And there was nothing on the table. Usually when they met up, whoever got there first would get each other’s favourite milkshakes. Though the only thing there was an untouched Pop’s menu.
“Hey.” Jughead said softly once she had sat in the seat opposite him, not beside him as usual. “I’m glad you came. I wouldn’t have put it past you if you didn’t.”
“What did you want to talk about?” She asked, just wanting to get it over and done with. Whilst she wasn’t crying herself to sleep every night anymore or tearing up at the mention of his name, she still didn’t trust herself to be with him for too long, in fear of setting off her uncontrollable flow of emotions.
“I just...” Jughead sighed. “I wanted to say I was sorry, okay? I shouldn’t have been so harsh with you about it. I probably could have done it all in a nicer way to make it easier for the both of us. And, I just wanted to say that I wasn’t meeting up with Toni last week in the way that you thought. Really, Y/N, she just wanted to make sure I was okay.”
Y/N scoffed quietly as she shook her head, a sad smile making it’s way to her face. “And I was thinking you wanted to get back together.” She whispered, though he heard her.
Seeing his eyebrows furrow and the shake of his head was enough to make her eyes brim with tears again as a lump formed in her throat.
“Y/N, I can’t do that.” He whispered, reaching across the table to take her hands in his. “You’re in too much danger with me, I can’t let anything happen to you.”
“I can handle it, Jug.” She tried telling him, though her throat was clogged up with tears and it made talking an extremely difficult task. “I can handle it, please can we just try.” Tears starter falling as her voice broke, her hands tearing from his as they flew to cover her face. After a moment she felt the seat dip beside her as he sat down, his arms winding around her and pulling her into him as she started crying.
“Please don’t leave me.” She started crying, the sound of her heart breaking almost louder than her cries. Almost. “Please, Jug, this can’t be over, I never thought I’d see this break, please.”
Jughead was stiff as he rubbed her arm gently, letting his lips linger on her forehead as a way of trying to comfort her. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, his own voice thick. “I have to. Y/N.”
At that she just started crying harder as she held onto him, trying to soak up his hold, his touch, everything, as she knew once he left she wouldn’t ever get it again. She turned to be completely pressed into him as she sobbed into the cold uncomfortable leather of his jacket, trying to hold onto him for as long as possible. Though she knew everything was over, and she couldn’t even take the thought. She couldn’t stand to live without Jughead in her life, she just didn’t want to.
She was haunted.

Part 4
Request: Yes or No
"I wondered what Betty might be doing." (Y/N) said, taking the money from Jughead.
"Is Archie comforting her? Don't these questions pop up in your head?" He asked. Jughead nodded, taking off his beanie and running a hand through his hair. He seemed exhausted. (Y/N) got some beer, opening it and placing the glass bottle infront of him.
"Why didn't Veronica give you money? She has a owns a restaurant, doesn't she? That just seems selfish to me. Poor Archie, he seems so naive and selfless." (Y/N) said, getting some beer for himself. Jughead grabbed the bottle and started to drink.
"What do you think about Veronica?"
"She's a bitch." Jughead mumbled. (Y/N) held back an amused grin.
"I've noticed. It's a shame that she can't even be bothered to help her friends. I guess she's just a pretty face with an ugly heart." (Y/N) shrugged lightly. Jughead sighed deeply.
"From one gang leader to another, I suggest you cut off anyone who isn't willing to help you and the gang." (Y/N) said. Jughead looked at him.
"How? She's my friend." Jughead said. (Y/N) smiled.
"I can deal with her." (Y/N) said with a smile.
"I don't want her to get hurt-"
"I'm not gonna hurt her." (Y/N) promised.
(Y/N) walked forward, bumping shoulders with someone.
"Shit, my bad." He apologized, crouching down and picking up some of the things the girl dropped.
"It's okay, I should've paid more attention."
"No, no, no. I was on my phone." (Y/N) said, finally making eye contact with Veronica Lodge. She paused before shaking her head.
"It's fine... But if you're so guilty, maybe you can make it up to me with a milkshake at Pop's." She smiled. (Y/N) chuckled, nodding.
"Alright, it's only fair." He smiled.
"I'm Veronica Lodge." She stuck out her hand. (Y/N) faked a surprised look.
"Oh." Veronica furrowed her brows.
"Oh?"
"Sorry, it's just... Jughead was talking about you the other day-"
"You know Jughead? How is he? Is he being treated right?" Veronica asked, stepping closer. (Y/N) nodded.
"He's fine. Sorry about everything that happened, Alpha is very serious about his money since some of the members badly need it." (Y/N) said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"How come your in Riverdale?"
"I've lived most of my life in Greendale, I wanted to check the place out." (Y/N) said meekly. Veronica couldn't help but smile.
"Welcome to Riverdale.. Wanna head over to Pop's?" She asked. (Y/N) shrugged, nodding.
"Did you and Jughead have an agrument before Alpha took him?" (Y/N) asked. Veronica shook her head, frowning.
"No, why?"
"Well, it's just that we were talking about his life in Riverdale and he... Nevermind." (Y/N) looked away from her. Veronica placed a hand on his arm.
"Tell me, please."
"He was probably in a bad mood but... He called you a bitch." (Y/N) winced as Veronica blinked.
"I've stuck by his side for so long and he calls me a bitch?"
"He probably had a bad day-"
"Doesn't excuse anything! What an asshole." She huffed.
"How is his girlfriend doing?" (Y/N) asked.
"She's acting like her boyfriend, a total asshole. I get your boyfriend is dealing with some stuff but it doesn't mean that you should act like a total whore! She's trying to cozy up to Archie!" Veronica said, shaking her head.
"Maybe... Maybe she planned all of it. Once Jughead was away, she'd get close to Archie and get with him until Jughead gets back." (Y/N) said. Veronica rubbed her forehead.
"You know what? I need to forget all of them. Betty's always accusing me of something, Jughead follows her around like a puppy, and Archie is always kissing someone." Veronica sighed.
"I really thought they were my friends." She whispered. (Y/N) rubbed her arm.
"It's alright, I'm sure you'll be fine without them." (Y/N) assured her.
"You're really nice. What's your connection to 'Alpha'?" She asked. (Y/N) grinned.
"I am the Alpha, babe." He sent her a wink, continuing on his walk when she abruptly stopped. (Y/N) headed over to his car when Blu parked beside him.
"How'd it go?"
"We'll see." (Y/N) said, getting in the drivers seat.
"Riverdale is so interesting. Better than all the witch bullshit that's going on in Greendale." (Y/N) said.
"Better to have them on our side than against." Blu pointed out, grabbing (Y/N)'s phone and working on the recording. Blu made the recording seem like Veronica was just calling Betty a whore and Jughead an asshole for no reason.
"Why do you wanna pin them against each other?"
"Because it's fun." (Y/N) smiled. Blu handed him the phone back and looked out the window. (Y/N) drove into Greendale, driving to the place where The Wolf Pack hungout. It was a bar owned by (Y/N)'s friend with apartments above that some wolves, including (Y/N), stayed at.
"Veronica's cute but she seems stubborn."
"Penny's like that." Blu looked at him.
"But she's mature. Veronica's childish." (Y/N) got out of the car, heading inside.
"Hey, Jug. I paid your friend a visit and..." (Y/N) played the recording. Jughead clenched his jaw, annoyed and betrayed. (Y/N) patted his back, glancing at the Ghoulies who hung around. Malachai was playing poker while Penny counted her money.
"Daddy!" The screech of a young girl spooked everyone but (Y/N) who grinned widely. He spun around, picking up the young girl as she reached him, causing her to squeal and laugh.
"Hey, baby bird." He cooed. Jughead stared at him with wide eyes.
"You're a a dad?" He questioned.
"Don't act so surprised Jughead, you'll probably be in my shoes soon enough." (Y/N) said.
"This little bird is gonna be the next Alpha after me." (Y/N) said, putting her down and letting her greet the other wolves.
"Why? What if she doesn't want to be Alpha?"
"Only the people related to the original Alphas can become one. If they can't or don't want to, it firstly seems like disrespect and their kid will have to be Alpha or else they'll be kicked out." (Y/N) explained.
"I was thirteen when good ole' dad passed and mom was too mentally ill to know what the hell reality was."
"Thirteen and leader of basically a mafia?" Jughead raised his brows.
"Serpents always act as if their gang is the only one with parents who need to feed their children, felons who were homeless, street kids... The Wolf Pack takes anyone without a home and gives them a place to stay until they're back on their feet. Of course, they have to pay us back but it's easy. Give a bit of money and you have our protection." (Y/N) told him.
"But don't get me wrong, we have a decent body count." With that, (Y/N) grabbed a bottle and went over to his daughter.

The Tony To My Maria?
Sweet Pea x reader
Summary: y/n gets cast as Maria in the new school musical of West Side Story, but when there's more than one candate for Tony, conflicts arise.

"Well, it would be a great opportunity. You wouldn't get the role right away, but I think you have a fighting chance. If you were to get the role, you would be working with y/n as the other lead and-"
"I'll do it." Sweet Pea responded. Your name was all he needed to hear.
Kevin was caught off guard. He figured that he would need to persuade him. "Really?"
"Y/n's going to be in the musical?"
He nodded. "She would be playing your love interest."
"Then I'm in. When do I show up?"
He definitely wasn't expecting this. "Uh, after school at the auditorium."
"Great. I'll be there." And with that he left. Sweet Pea didn't care much for musicals or plays, but he knew you did. He's seen West Side Story before with you, and he knew that Maria kisses Tony. He wouldn't let some Northside Bulldog make out with you and take you away from him. They weren't worthy for you. Besides, kissing you would be a bonus.
After school he saw a similar girl in a similar serpent jacket sitting in one of the seats to the auditorium. He went over to you, sitting right next to you and putting his head on your shoulder as you were invested in reading the script. "Whatcha got there?"
You put your head up to look at him. He brought his head up as well, smiling at you. You gave him the biggest smile ever. If there was anyone that made you feel more at home, it'd be Sweet Pea. You dove into a hug, happy to see your crush. "Sweet Pea! What are you doing here?"
You pulled your head back, still smiling. "You haven't heard?" You shook your head. "I'm gonna be trying out to get Tony."
"Yay! You're gonna be amazing, and I hope you'll get the role." You patted his chest, sitting back into your seat.
This is what he loved about you. Even though you came from the Southside, you were always cheerful and saw the best in him. You and him were also very touchy and comfortable with each other. The only problem with your relationship is that neither of you had the guts to tell each other how you felt.
"So who's ass do I have to kick to get the role?"
You bit your lip, looking down at your script. "You won't like it."
Kevin then called for everyone to get in a circle. He then introduced everybody and their role, saving the ones auditioning for Tony last. "And finally, the one role that isn't locked in yet will be auditioned for throughout the week. Sweet Pea," Sweet Pea stood at this. "Reggie Mantle," As he stood, he remained eye contact with Sweet Pea, whose eyes widened. "And Archie Andrews. They will all be auditioning for the role of Tony."
As Sweet Pea stared at the two other men in annoyance, he felt a hand slip its way into his. He looked down and saw you smile as you held his hand. They all sat, and Reggie gave Sweet Pea a smirk at the sight of you and him. Sweet Pea felt a lot of things, and threatened was one of them.
"It's fine." You whispered. "You'll do great."
Kevin clasped his hands together. "So first, we'll see how well each of you are with the other lead, which is y/n y/l/n." You then stood, sitting back down after waving to everybody. "First up, Archie."
Each of the three guys would be doing a different scene with you. Archie and you did the scene where Tony comes to visit Maria at night, and Reggie and you did the scene where Tony and Maria imagine their wedding. Both scenes had Sweet Pea fuming, Reggie being the biggest source.
During the whole scene, Reggie kept looking back at him while he smiled, as if telling him that he's trying to steal what Sweet Pea wants. "Reggie." Kevin called out in the middle of the scene. Everybody then turned to look at Kevin. "Stay focused on the acting please."
You started the scene again, and Reggie annoyedly looked away from a smug Sweet Pea. After what felt like forever to you, the scene ended. It was Sweet Pea's turn now. You both were secretly excited, but all extremely nervous. In the scene you two would be doing, you two kiss.
As Sweet Pea got on the stage, you could tell that he felt uncomfortable. He kept awkwardly shifting, and didn't know what to do with his arms. "It's okay," you whispered. "You'll be great." Your smile made him feel a sense of calmness.
You both started, committing to the characters. Part of what you two were saying was just acting, but a small part of you both had some truth in your lines. When you kissed, you didn't think about it. You just melted into the kiss, feeling right for your lips to be pressed against each other.
You slowly backed away from the kiss, his eyes never leaving yours. "I loved that." Kevin announced as he clapped his hands, snapping both of you out of your trance. "Tomorrow we'll be working on dance moves, so until 4:30 everybody practice your lines."
"That was good." You said shyly to Sweet Pea with a small smile. "You did good."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks. You did good too."
You were about to say something, when Reggie interrupted the two of you. "Y/n, hey. You did good back there."
"Thanks." You said tightly.
You knew of the boy's fondness for you, and you couldn't want anything less. He had disrespected your friends as well as the Serpents, and you didn't like the way you caught him looking at you at times.
Being around him didn't feel the same as being around Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea knew how to make you feel special and safe, he knew how to make you laugh and feel better. Your mood got increasingly better when he entered the room. You didn't feel that way with Reggie.
You then thought of a way to mess with him. "Didn't Sweet Pea do an amazing job too?!" You smiled at Reggie, putting a hand on Sweet Pea's shoulder.
He shrugged, looking at Sweet Pea. "I've seen worse."
"I think he did awesome." You got a little closer to the serpent boy. Sweet Pea smiled, knowing what you were doing.
"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go over some of the script together." He took a step closer to you.
You didn't know how to turn him down in a nice way, but the boy beside you helped you out. "Sorry dude, she's practicing with me." He then put an arm around your waist and pulled you into his side, fitting perfectly.
He looked at the two of you, defeated. "Well, if you don't want to practice with losers anymore, I'll be over there." He then walked away.
Sweet Pea stared at the bulldog. "I don't like the way he looks at you."
"I don't like the way he looks at me either, but it's whatever. It's not he's got any chance. He's too much of a dick." You said, the two of you sitting where the audience seats were.
He smiled at ruffled your hair. "Good girl." You giggled.
When rehearsal was almost over, the two of you stood from your seats. "I'm starving." You said. "Pop's sounds pretty good right now."
Reggie heard this and appeared behind you. "Would you wanna go with me to Pop's?" He smirked. "I'm paying."
You perked up, Sweet Pea noticing mischief in your eyes. You turned around, facing Reggie. "That sounds awesome, we could all go and get to know each other!"
"Wait-"
"Guys!" You called out, everybody turning to you. "Reggie just said he'd treat us all Pop's! Let's go!" Everybody cheered, and you faced Reggie again. "Thanks a bunch, Reg. I'm gonna ride there with Sweets. See you there!"
You walked off with Sweet Pea's arm around your shoulder, Reggie stumped and standing there. "Did you just finesse him into buying us food?" Sweet Pea asked.
"And I managed to dodge a probably crappy date." You smiled cheekily.
"Marry me." He teased. You pretended that didn't make you go crazy inside.
"Sure thing babe, but let's get some dinner first." He loved it when you made quick comebacks. You both high fived and walked to his bike.
The next day at rehearsal Kevin quickly picked up that you were a much better dancer that most, as well as a quick learner, so he had you help out the group of Shark Ladies that would be dancing.
Sweet Pea, Reggie and Archie were all next to each other as Kevin gave out the next instructions. "We will be seeing which of you guys can dance. Tony's dancing is all slow and sweet, so I wanna see how you all do in that department. You will each dance with Veronica."
"Yo, what happened to y/n?" Reggie asked.
"She's preoccupied at the moment." Kevin nodded to you dancing and twirling along in the front of a group of girls, a big smile on your face. "Don't worry about her right now. Just focus on the task in front of you."
All three of them danced with Veronica as everyone watched. Sweet Pea felt nervous again, with no you to make him feel better. At least not until he noticed you smiling at him and giving him two big thumbs up. He then flowed easily, thinking of how happy you would be if the two of you were dancing together on performing night.
Once he was done he went straight to you, with you responding with a hug. "That was so good. See, you don't have chicken legs. Fangs owes me ten bucks now, so thank you for that." He laughed and hugged you again, twirling you around.
"Wow," you both turned to Kevin, who was staring at Archie and Veronica. "You two are like your own Tony and Maria."
Sweet Pea looked down at you. "Huh. Looks like you got some competition."
You looked at him and shrugged, a smile still on your face. "Eh. Maria, Anita, it doesn't matter to me. As long as I'm playing a Shark girl I'm happy."
"Okay everybody! Practice is over for today." Kevin announced.
You began to grab your things when Sweet Pea went up to you. "Hey, uh, so I think I need some help with my lines. Maybe you could help me?"
Your back was turned to him, so you didn't see him rub his neck shyly. You spun around, a smile on your face. "Of course! We could practice tonight if you want." He put an arm around you and agreed.
The next few couple of days Sweet Pea did his best to try to get the role, with the help of you. He couldn't let Reggie kiss you. He couldn't let him touch you.
Kevin brought everyone together at the end of a practice. "So, I have finally picked the role of Toni." Everybody waited. "After a long thought process, I decided to go with Archie." Everybody clapped, and you frowned when you saw a disappointed Sweet Pea.
Kevin then announced that Sweet Pea would be Bernardo. You apologized to Sweet Pea, and he told you not to worry about it. That he could still watch over you to make sure Archie didn't try anything. You could see that he was sad.
As everybody left, you went up to Kevin. "Is it okay if we make a slight change in the casting? I think I have a better idea."
The next day was dress rehearsal. Sweet Pea got into his position and waited for Veronica to come out of the changing rooms to start. But she didn't. Who came out was you, in Anita's costume.
"What're you doing?" He asked as you stood next to him.
"You didn't hear?" He shook his head. You smiled brightly. "I had Kevin switch me and Veronica's roles to make you feel better. Tada!" You giggled. You then began to play with your dress as you swayed from side to side. "What do you think?"
He knew how much you loved this musical. How much you loved Maria's character. How much you gave up by switching roles for him. It sent a surge of warmth through him. That's why he wasn't thinking when he crashed his lips with yours.
You were shocked, and before you could reciprocate, he pulled away, eyes wide. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean– I didn't..."
When Kevin came into the auditorium, Sweet Pea stormed off. "What just happened?" He asked.
"I'll go get him." You said, speed walking to where you saw Sweet Pea leave. He was down the hall, sitting on the floor with his face buried in his hands. You walked over to him and sat next to him, gently pulling his wrists down for him to see you. "Hi."
His eyes were watery, tears threatening to spill. He was mad at himself. "I shouldn't have done that. I get it if you're mad."
You gave him a small smile, wiping away the small tears that came down. "Do you like me?"
He let out a small laugh, a smile forming on his face. "Course, who wouldn't?"
You crawled in between his legs, putting your weight on your knees as you rested your hands on his shoulders. "How much do you like me?"
His expression became a bit softer. "More than I like myself, I'll let you that much."
You chuckled and shook your head. "You should care for yourself more. You always worry about me, and take it upon yourself to protect me from anything or any guy." He breathed out a small laugh. "You always make sure I'm happy. You deserve to love yourself more. You're perfect. That's why I love you."
He looked at you in the eye, and he knew that you meant every word from the bottom of your heart. He lightly brushed his fingers against your cheek. "Can I kiss you?"
You leaned into his touch. "Please." He wrapped his other arm around your waist, tugging you to him where your lips met. You softly tugged at the back of his hair as you say on his lap. You then pulled away for breath, letting out a light laugh. "Y'know you never told me what you thought of my dress."
"Perfect." He said. "You are, and will always be, perfect."

Your Fault
Pt.1 || Pt.2 || Pt.3 || Pt.4
Summary: Betty copper, a  perfect girl next door, wants to reflect back the anger and hurt feelings, back to Jughead. In order to reach her main goal; Revenge.
Warning: a lil bit of angst with a lil bit of fluff I guess.
A/n: so this is a story I wrote on Wattpad and I thought why not share it.
Tumblr media
Betty's POV
Dear Diary,
I was alone, I felt alone. I had no one to cry on after I broke up with my boyfriend; I don't want to mention his name right now. To top it all off i was starting to love him, but then he blamed me for being with Archie most of the time. We were best friends since we were 5; plus he lives right across from me!
My boyfriend had traveled to NYC for two months; because one of his family members passed away. He went to support his family and to attend the funeral. Meaning I had no one to hangout with, except for Archie who was free at that time. I was either at his house or him at mine. And when my ex came back and accused me of cheating on him with Archie(Well, I had feelings for him when I was small but that was before I met him) I was devastated.
We were going on dates and getting to know each other for about 2 months, 'til he asked me to be his girlfriend, I of course, I said yes. (I wish I never did). At least I wouldn't have had my heart broken if I said no, but sadly I did.
We dated for almost a year, 'til he accused me. I was so sad and broken. I thought that now I was alone with no friends and boyfriend. I know, I know am exaggerating. But what did you except me to think?!
The next day, Archie came with my favorite kind of cake, that had writing on it 'Am sorry, do you forgive me?'
Tumblr media
"Forgive you? What exactly did you do?"I asked.
"Well I thought you were mad at me for being the reason you guys broke up!" He replied in a way that made me feel bad that he thought that.
In a happy tune I replied "no Archie am not mad at you. Am just sad that he thought I would do that. Plus we have been the best of best friends since we were five don't forget that and the fact that you showed up here, after he broke up with me, is the best thing ever"
After I said that he looked reliefed and a big smile came to his face.
"let's go inside and watch a movie like the old days. what do you think?" Immediately after I heard that, I started jumping up and down. I forgot that I just came out of a break-up.
Archie's POV
After the movie had finished, I found Betty lying on me asleep. I tried waking her up but she only kept on mumbling incorrect words. So I just made her lean on the couch and brought her a blanket and a pillow. Slowly removing her off me. I brought another blanket and a pillow, to slept next to her on the floor. Remembering that we said earlier, that this was a sleepover.
The next morning, when we woke up; we got a call from Veronica . Betty had picked up the phone and answered.
After the call ended, I was informed that Veronica was coming back from her vacation. She also had asked us to come and meet her at pops, nearly an hour later.
Betty went up the stairs to get ready and I left her house. It was the first time to see her after her long vacation.
Betty's POV
Archie went home as I got ready. And right before he left I heard him yell
"call me when you finish. So we can go together rather than waiting for each one of us to come"
As soon as I finished I did what he asked to do and walked together to pop's. Before we enter the diner we bumped into Jughead.
If your wondering who is Jughead; he was one of my best friends till he got mad at me, Archie and Veronica for no apparent reason
And to this very day, I remember exactly what he told us before he left
"you guys are just using me isn't it. You guys don't care about me or anything like you claim to have. I can't and won't take anymore of this bullshit" Then he left us without allowing us say something back.
He soon after exchanged school and moved houses. He moved to live in Southside and transferred to South Side High.
And until this day we never encountered him again.
As we entered we ignored his presence and continued to make a our way to Veronica.
Veronica's POV
When I finally saw them, I couldn't contain my excitement and ran at them, jumping in the process. I had missed them so much that I couldn't wait to see them tomorrow morning in school.
Betty and Archie haven't had food since last night, so it was an understatement that they were hungry.
While eating, Betty had enlightened me about her current status. And to be honest I was wrecked. "Sorry B, I wish I was there to comfort you or at least to talk you through it" I was disappointment in all honesty.
I was then cut off by her saying "it's ok V, I didn't even want to tell you. So you won't feel bad on your vacation. But I had Archie who came to me with my favorite cake and movie." She laughed it off and you can still see that it affected her.
I then remembered that she had this crush. She didn't mention his name or anything, she said that it would be her own mystery crush. I know thaf she will tell me when he talks to her or ask her out. But am fine with anything, as long as she feels happy.
It was about two in the afternoon when we decided; it was time to head home. I bid them goodbye, and made my way to the door, with them trailing behind me. We parted our ways, I headed towards the car while they walked they're way back home.

Forgotten
Hey guys! Here is something that I wrote. Hope you like angst because thats what this is XD I have no clue why but I have been in an angsty writing/reading mood lately. Hope you like it!
Tumblr media
Summary: You and your boyfriend, Jughead, went to Pop's together with the gang. Everything started out great, until everyone forgot about you. It was like you weren't even there. (Set like the Bulldogs and South Side Serpants don't hate eachother)
Pairing: Jughead x Reader
Warnings: Angst, swearing, angst, and some more angst. I'm in an angsty writing mood
I was tying my shoe lace when there was a knock on my trailer door. I grabbed my coat and opened the front door, smiling when I saw Jughead's face.
"Hey, you ready?" He asked with a smile. I smile back and said "Ready to go."
I follow Jughead to his motorcycle and he hands me my helmet so I can secure it on my head. Jughead gets on first and then I follow, puting my arms around his waist. Jughead starts the engine and heads to Pop's. We pull into the parking lot of Pop's and park. Jughead and I walk inside hand-in-hand and look for the gang.
"Juggie! Y/N!" We both turn our heads and see Archie waving us over. Jughead sits down first next to Betty and then I sit next Jughead and he puts his arms around me. Across the table is Archie with Veronica under is arm.
"Hey man, how's it going?" Archie asks. "Great, the article is coming along and Betty and I have finally cracked this case." Jughead says proudly as he high fives Betty. "That's awesome! What are you going to do next?" Veronica asks. "Well first, I'm going to hang with you guys, and then I'm going to take my beautiful girlfriend out on a date." Jughead smiles and kisses my forhead. A chorus of "Aww's" made it's way around the table. Pop comes over and takes everyone's order and says he will be right back with the order. Betty and Veronica are talking about boys and what ever else those two talk about. Archie and Jughead are talking about what's been going on between their families and joke around. I sit there and try to pick a conversation to possibly join in.
Suddenly we hear some loud noises behind us and we all turn around. Some Serpants and Bulldogs come in all laughing and playfully pushing eachother around. Jughead and Archie call them over and they all take a seat on top of the booths all around our table. Everyone is high fiving, cheering, and hugging.
Fangs and Sweet Pea come over and ask to sit and Jughead tells them they can take a seat next to him. I look around and see every seat is taken, so he must have meant my seat. I feel a pat on the shoulder and it's Sweet Pea telling me to move. I stand up and let him take a seat, obviously Jughead didn't mind that Sweet Pea just made me stand up so he can sit there. Fangs comes up the side of the table and leans on it, basically blocking me from being near the table. I look around, not knowing what to do, so I go and take a seat at the bar. Pop turns around and notices me.
"What are you doing over here honey. I thought you were with them." He says.
"I thought so too Pop but Sweet Pea tole me to get up so he can sit and Jughead didn't seem to care. He hasn't even noticed I came over here." You replied sadly.
I look over and see Jughead and the gang are all having a blast. No one really noticing my absence. Pop hands me my milk shake and fries and tells me it's on the house. I quietly thank him and pull my book out. I sat at the bar for a good 30 minutes eating my  fries, drinking my strawberry shake while reading my book. And still, no one has even cared to look over to me. I sigh and get up, walking over to Jughead and try to tap him but he doesn't budge. I tried to take his hat off to get his attention and he just re-adjusts it. I huff and cross your arms so I try Archie next. I pulled on his arm and try to talk to him but he shruggs me off. Now is when I start to get pissed. How can everyone just pretend like I'm not even here. I rode here with Jughead! I pulled on Archie's arm a little harder this time and he finally turns.
"What." He says. "Can you take me home please, I don't feel like being here and I want to go." You say. "Sorry I'm busy." He said without even blinking and turns back around. He jumps back into the conversation he was in and ignores me once again. I cross my arms and walk back over to Pop.
"Hey Pop, if for some miracle or reason, someone asks where I went. I walked home." I say. "Are you sure you should be walking alone this late at night dear?" He asks caringly. I turn and look outside the shop's windows and see that it is pretty dark out. I turn back to Pop and give him a weak smile. "I'll be fine. I have my pepper spray with me." Pop nods and tells you a soft 'goodbye".
I pull my jacket closer to my body and start my walk home. What a perfect windy night for a hike in the cold. I only live 45 minutes (walking distance)  from Pop's. In fact I live right next to Jughead in the trailer park.
I woke up one day and found my parents had packed up and left. Leaving a small note saying, "Couldn't do it anymore. Had to go. Couldn't pay the bills either. XOXO Mom and dad". I start tear up as I remember that day like it was yesturday. Ever since that day I've lived in that trailer park by myself, working temp jobs here and there to pay the bills.
The wind picks up and I shiver and I wrap my arms around myself to try and stay warm. I hear honking in the distance and some cheering. I turn around to see what all the commotion is about and I see a car heading your way. A motorcyle flies by with a car following it. The car had music blaring with people laughing and yelling. As the motorcyle and car get closer and it passes me, I notice something. It was Jughead on his bike and the gang back in Archie's car. They drive straight past me and in the direction the trailer park. Not even slowing down or stopping. By now I am beyond pissed off that I have tears welling up in my eyes. How could they?! Why would they even invite me tonight if they were just going to completely forget about me? I check my phone and see its about 11:40 pm. I sigh in anger and turn back around to continue walking home.
It was about midnight by time I finally made it to the trailer park. I see Jughead talking and laughing with his dad. FP notices me and smiles.
"Hey Y/N. What are you doing out by yourself so late. I figured you'd be with this one." He says while point his hand that held a beer in it towards Jughead.
Jughead turns around and look me in the eyes. His smile drops and I know he just realized what happened tonight. I don't say anything and walk straight to my trailer. Jughead runs after me and grabs my arm.
"Y/N, oh my god I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened. It's like once the Serpents and the Bulldogs showed up I. I-uh."
"You what Jughead? You forgot about me?. How could you forget that you drove me to Pop's? Or that I was sitting right next to you. You even let Sweet pea make me get up so he could sit next to you. You forgot I was even there. When I tried to get your attention, you didn't even turn to look at me, you didn't even seem to care! And when I asked Archie for a ride home because I didn't want to be there anymore, he said he was 'too busy' and ignored me too. The only fucking person in the whole building that knew I existed tonight was Pop!" I yelled back at him. By now there are angry tears running down my face. Jughead looks down, defeated.
"I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened. I'm so so so sorry. I cannot begin to express how sorry I am Y/N."
I wipe the tears away and look Jughead in the eye, "Sorry isn't going to cut it Jones. Why don't you go hang out with your friends. I'm sure you'll never forget them like you forgot about your girlfriend. Well, ex-girlfriend now." I storm inside my trailer and slam the door shut, locking it.

Bad Habits: Part 9
Pairing: (Kurtz x OC) (Malachai x OC)
Word Count: 1000+
Warnings: Alcohol consumption? Fighting
A/N: This chapter is also kinda sad...
Tumblr media
3rd person point of view
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   With the craziness of Polly Coopers return, the Jones twins moving from place to place, and the daily Riverdale drama. Emma felt like she was stuck in a time-loop.
   Her brother and Archie were gone while they worked at Fred's construction sight so she had a lot of alone time. Not that she had the time part.
   Emma called Ella and both girls decided to take the day for themselves. After school Emma didn't go to cheer practice, or Pops for work. Her and Ella met outside the school.
   "Ready to go?" Ella asked. Emma smiled and nodded eagerly.
   "Can we make a quick stop at my crash site first?" Emma asked.
   "Course, hop in." Ella said. The girls drove to the Andrews house and Emma unlocked the door, letting them in. Emma changed quickly.
   The girls decided to go on a night out, to the Whyte Wyrm with the boys. So neither of them saw the harm in dressing up a bit.
   They went back to Ella's house and finished getting ready. Emma lied back on Ella's bed as music filled the room.
   In that moment they were two teenaged girls. Singing loudly off key to a random top twenties pop song, doing their makeup and talking about boys. To anyone on the outside they almost looked like two young girls that weren't mixed up in murder mysteries and gang madness.
   At around five thirty Ella drove them to the small bar on the southside.
   Ella smiled at the sight of Malachai leaning against the wall on the outside, a few other Ghoulies with him, including Kurtz. Ella parked quickly and jumped out of the car and into Malachai's awaiting arms.
   She pressed a soft kiss against his lips as she traced the tips of her fingers down his chest.
   "Hello, my love." She whispered. He chuckled and set her down carefully, wrapping his arm around her waist.
   "Hello, to you too, baby." He said, grinning wickedly.
   Emma walked over to Kurtz and hugged his torso tightly. He smiled and wrapped his arm around her neck, holding her close to him.
   The group headed into the semi-crowded bar. Emma's eyes widened at the sight and she grabbed onto Kurtz' sleeve tightly.
   The bar was loud, which was to be expected, but Emma just wanted used to it. Kurtz slid his hand into hers, making Emma flush.
   "Just stay close to me, sunshine." He whispered against her ear. She nodded shyly and followed after him as they weaved through the crowd to a back table.
   The girls sat next to one another, laughing and joking around. Both girls slightly tipsy as they dragged one another to the dance floor.
   They danced loosely to the rock song that filled the bar. Stumbling and laughing, brushing off every advance from random guys. Perfectly content being with each other.
   Emma glanced at the door and cursed softly.
   "Shit, they can't see me here. They'll tell my brother." Emma said quickly, her eyes wide.
   "Relax, what are the chances they'll see you? This place is packed." Ella said. Emma relaxed and nodded.
   "You're right, but still, I wonder why the hell they are here? Of all places and days." Emma mumbled. Ella giggled and spun Emma. Helping her get back into the song.
   Emma turned and halted. Archie was thrown down onto the pool table by one of her dads loyal Serpents. She cursed and ran over. Ignoring Ella's calls.
   "Emma?" Archie asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.
   "Mustang, get off of him. He's just a stupid Northsider." Emma yelled.
   "Back off, kid." Mustang snapped. Emma growled and went to open her mouth just before her dad interrupted.
   "Hey! That's enough, Mustang! Let em' go." F.P yelled, as he walked down the stairs.
   "I'll take care of this." He said. F.P glanced between Archie and Emma.
   "Sweetheart, what are you doing here?" F.P asked Emma. She shifted and picked at her hands.
   "I'm with friends, dad. I gotta go." Emma said quickly. She turned and disappeared into the crowd.
   When Emma returned to the table, Kurtz stood up and grabbed her arm, dragging her down a hall.
   "K-Kurtz? What a-are you-
He pushed her back against the wall and stared down at her. His eyes filled with anger.
   "You're a Serpent?" He hissed. Emma's mouth fell open and she shook her head quickly.
   "No-no you don't understand. I am not, j-just my father." She said desperately.
   "That doesn't make it any better!" He yelled. She flinched back and stared up at him.
   "Why?" She whispered. She shoved him back.
   "Why does it matter?" She yelled. Her eyes filled with tears.
   "Because your father is the leader- the king! Of my gangs rival. Emma, this is bad. Don't you get it?" He said. She shook her head once more.
   "But I'm not a Serpent, Kurtz! I am nothing, I am my own person!" Emma cried.
   "Why can't you see that?" Emma whispered. She pushed passed him and ran out of the bar.
   Ella watched Emma and her heart sank.
   "What did you say to her?" Ella snapped at Kurtz, before running after her best friend.
   "Emma, wait!" Ella called. Emma stopped and turned quickly, wiping her tears.
   "Are you gonna yell at me too?" Emma asked. Ella hugged her tightly.
   "No...why didn't you just tell me about your dad? I could've tried and talked to them." Ella soothed.
   "I didn't want to lose you guys." Emma said. Ella sighed and squeezed Emma's shoulders softly.
   "I'm not mad. You're family doesn't define you. I should know. And Kurtz, he'll come around. If I know one thing about that boy, it's that he couldn't stay mad at you if he tried. Just give him a day or two. I'll talk to him. I'll even talk to Chai. It's gonna be okay, I promise." Ella reassured her. Emma felt better after Ella's words of encouragement. Maybe that was all she needed. Encouragement.
Love (1/?)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Archie Andrews x Male! Reader
Warnings: Slight Angsty (don't worry it gets cuter later on!)
Summary: As cheesy as it sounds, love can happen at first sight.
* * * * *
" Come on (Y/N)! You've been in there for hours, we're gonna be late to Pop's!" Betty, your cousin exclaimed.
" All right, but can you stop pounding the door? I heard you the first hundred times." You replied sarcastically.
After fixing your hair one last time, you stepped out of the bathroom, arms crossed.
" There you happy?"
" Yes, now wipe that smirk off your face, we're going to meet all my friends." Betty said grabbing your arm.
" Wait, wait, wait, hold on a minute. You said we were just gonna grab food and leave. That's it."
" Come on (Y/N), you've gotta break out of that shell and meet new people every once in a while. Right?" Betty pleaded.
You know you couldn't refuse, especially since she added her puppy dog eyes. You nodded annoyingly and she squealed happily.
" Yay! You're gonna love them I swear, they're some of the greatest people you'll ever meet."
* * * * *
Along the way to Pop's, Betty told you all about her friends and things you guys have in common.
Stepping into the diner, Betty looked around and quickly spotted her friends in one of the booths.
She waved at them and a girl, who you assumed was Veronica, waved back and told her to come over.
You started getting a little nervous, but Betty squeezed your hand and nodded telling you it was okay.
You took a deep breath and nodded following and sitting next to her in the booth.
Still slightly nervous you had your head down and Betty introduced you.
" Ok guys, I invited you guys to Pop's to meet my cousin (Y/N). He's a little shy but he's really fun when you get to know him."
Time seemed to stop as you heard one of the nicest voices speak up.
" Hi my name's Archie Andrews, pleasure to meet you."
You slowly looked up and saw the greatest looking guy right in front of you.
He had gorgeous red hair, that looked soft as a feather. Mesmerizing dark brown eyes that you could swim in for ages.
That didn't last for long though as you felt someone shake your arm.
" (Y/N) you okay? You're turning red." Betty said concerned.
This snapped you out of your world and nodded, blushing at how much an idiot you must've looked.
You stared at Archie again and saw that he had his hand out along with a concerned look.
" Nice to meet you too Archie." You replied shaking his hand, very awkwardly I might add.
" Well hi, my name's Veronica but you can call me Ronnie if you'd like." Another voice spoke up, the girl from earlier.
You couldn't come up with anything to say, so you just smiled.
" Let's not forget about Jughead." The guy next to Archie, announced sarcastically.
You waved him and he replied with a nod and that was it with introductions.
* * * * *
The night was going great, you were getting along with everyone just perfectly.
Especially Archie, who you would steal quick glances at every once in a while.
" So (Y/N) I've been curious about this, but what brings to a place like Riverdale? Didn't you used to live in the city?" Jughead questioned.
" I don't think (Y/N), is comfortable answering that." Betty said, knowing what you were going with.
" No Betty it's alright, might as well find out know then later on."
Everyone's attention was on you and for once you were comfortable talking about this.
" My parents and I had good lives and past mistakes came back to bite my father right in the ass. This soon lead to a whole mess of events and my dad ended up going to jail and my mom couldn't afford to take care of me so she sent me here to live with my aunt and uncle."
Everyone fell silent and Veronica wiped away a few tears, knowing she's gone through the same beside the whole mother thing.
" Geez that sounds rough, but you're strong for not letting it affect you (Y/N)." Archie said squeezing your hand.
Although it may have been nothing, you couldn't help but blush and squeeze back smiling.
Unknown to both you and Archie, the rest of the group gave each other knowing looks as to what might happen and how disgustingly adorable its gonna be.
* * * * *
Prologue
~
Life doesn't care.
That was the first lesson he had learned in his life, he was nine and he broke a glass after trying to sneak some juice up to his mum because she was sick. Jughead didn't totally remember what had happened after that, just the red mark that marred his cheek for a few days after
The next lesson he learned was that as long as he kept his head down, no one noticed him.
Jughead had always hidden away into the corner and only two people had ever gotten him to move away from it, Archie and Betty. They had known each other their entire lives and were the only people (besides Jellybean but she didn't count because she was his sister) he felt comfortable around. The ginger and the blonde had always seen that bruises that he was covered in but never asked and as they grew up he learned to hide them. When they got to middle school Jughead drifted from Betty (because she was a girl ew girls have cooties) but his friendship with Archie never wavered, just grew stronger. It was also at this time that Jughead started getting truly bullied, sure he had always been teased and there was always his father at home waiting with a fist but this was different. Soon the only people who talked to him because they wanted to were Archie and Betty, so Jughead stopped making himself noticeable, fading into the background.
When he was 12 he realised not everyone lived like him.
It happened when he was at Archie's house for a sleepover. As always they at 2 whole pizzas, and played video games until late in the night, and as always Mr Andrews came into
Archie's room to say good night. Mr Andrews ruffled the two boys hair and called 'Sleep tight' before exiting the room.
"Night Juggie," Arch whispered before turning in his bed and falling asleep.
"Night Arch," Jug responded turning over as well but found he couldn't sleep. His father had never come into his room to make sure he went to bed on time, or made sure he ate all his dinner, or took him out to play baseball (not that he would say yes if asked. Jughead Jones, playing sports on his own free will? Not a chance.). His parents were not like Betty's, always texting him, making sure he was okay, buying him every new toy he wanted, or taking him out of the state every break. Just another reason why he was different.
He turned 13 and everything really changed.
His dad was the same as usual so he was tiptoeing around as to make sure he didn't accidentally wake him up ("Your father has had some of his angry juice today Jugs," his mother had said when he was young. "Be sure not to wake him."). He had just gotten home and it was late, later than usual, he and Arch had been arguing ("Have you ever wanted to kiss a girl Juggie," Archie had asked looking nervous about his question. "No, gross," Jughead had said without looking up from his laptop, he was writing a story for their English class. "Are you sure," Archie asked sounding more nervous with every word. 'No but I've wanted to kiss you,' Jughead thought before responding. "Fine, I'll nod and say 'Yes, of course, Archibald, you're always right' while really thinking about how much I have no idea what you're talking about." Archie chuckled, "Fine."). When he was outside he could see the lights upstairs were on but now that he was there he could see why his mum and Jellybean had packed their bags and were getting ready to leave. He quickly his around the corner not wanting them to see him.
"But what about Jugs Mama?" He heard Jellybean whisper.
"Jugs will figure it out Jelly, he always does. now come on, we have to go before your father wakes up," his mum said before closing the front door with a soft click.
Jughead stood there, frozen for what seemed like forever before his body jolted into motion, peering through the window to see the car that was always there but it was gone and suddenly it was all real. He sprinted up to his room not caring how loud he was, he couldn't hear anything, he vaguely knew he was crying as he passed Jellybeans room and collapsed on his floor when he got to his room. The blues eyed boys ears pricked as his father came thundering up the stairs, yelling about how useless Jughead was since he couldn't even be quiet for 2 seconds. Jughead was aware that his father started hitting him but he couldn't feel anything and passed out wishing for his mama to come back to save him.
He didn't see Archie until 2 days later when the weekend was over. As usual,  he pulled the grey beanie onto his head but today he wasn't gonna take it off, he was never gonna take it off again, it was the last part of his true family he had left. Who cared if he got sent to the principal's office, certainly not him. At least, not anymore. When he got to school he realised something, he was in love with Archie Andrews, and he would never love him back.
~*~
Jughead hid what happened to his mother and sister, as well as his gradually increasing anxiety attacks, from his best friend as long as he could but eventually,  he found he was never good at hiding things from the other boy.
"Juggie, why didn't you tell me ?" The ginger questioned when he found out a couple months after the incident.
"Didn't think it was important," the other replied with a shrug.
"You didn't- oh my god," Archie turned away exasperated. "This is one of those super important things that you tell people Juggie." He turned back toward Jughead and put his hands on his shoulders.
"I just didn't want to talk about it," Jughead said and he could feel the oncoming panic attack.
“Hey I get it but you have to talk to people you can’t just keep everything bottled up inside,” Archie said calming seeing how his friend was having a hard time to breathe. “Jughead, hey, calm down it’s okay.”
Jugheads eyes flit frantically around the room, his breath coming in sharp pants. “Shit,” he softly swore as his knees gave out and was suddenly only being held up by Archie.
Archie slowly lowered them both to the floor of his room and pulled Jughead into an embrace. “Hey, it’s gonna be okay, I’m here, nothing's gonna hurt you,” he continued softly whispering into Jugheads neck until he calmed down.
“Uh...thanks,” Jughead replied awkwardly not knowing what to do, wishing he could just kiss the life out of this perfect boy but refrained from doing so. “I’m gonna head home, I’ve got some chores to do and you know how dad gets,” he said trying to joke around.
“Yeah, I do,” Archie stared at his friend as he got up, wishing he would just let him help him. “Hey you know I’ll always be there for you right?”
“I’ve basically come to terms with the fact that I’ll be followed around by a ginger puppy for the rest of my life yeah,” Jughead joked as he walked out of the room. “Bye Arch!”
“Seeya Juggie!,” Archie called after him, knowing he would never be able to live without that infuriating brunette
Jughead was 16 when he realised even Archie Andrews lied to him.
The two boys had been planning to go on a road trip for months, they had planned every detail, Jughead had even convinced himself that he was gonna tell Archie about how he had left home and was living at the drive in. But the road trip never came.
They had decided that Archie would meet Jughead at Pop’s with his dad's truck at 12 pm, they would have lunch then hit the road. Jughead woke up early in anticipation and got to Pop’s at
11, he decided to do some writing for his short stories and ordered a double chocolate milkshake with fries.
At 12 Jughead was excited.
At 12:30 he started to get nervous.
At 1 he had called Archie 3 times.
At 1:30 he had already had a minor panic attack.
At 2 he had given up, Archie didn’t want him, this was him saying he didn’t want to be friends with him.
Still,  he waited, and at 2:30 he got a text from Archie.
From: Arch
To: Juggie
Hey sorry i cant go today dads got me working
His heart broke. Jug knew for a fact that his father would never have him working today because he had been helping them plan this for weeks.
Tears started falling from his eyes and he quickly got up and ran out of the diner. Thankfully he had already paid for his meal and even if he didn’t Pop wouldn’t mind.
When Jughead reached the drive in he could barely see, it was like when his mother left about 1000 times worse. He collapsed into his bed, shudders to wrack his form.
He should have to know Archie would leave him, just like everyone else.
Notes on a scandal [jughead jones]
Summary: Secrets aren't meant to be found, and when Donna found out Archie Andrew's, she has no option but to be a good friend and keep it— even if it meant to keep it from his best friend.
Pairings: Jughead/OC (Donna), side (AND I SWEAR IT’S FOR STORYTELLING PURPOSES) Archie/Mrs. Grundy, side Archie&OC (Donna).
Warnings: canon/OC, my shitty writing.
Also can be found on fanfiction.net
He was supposed to be here.
Jughead stared again at the screen of his phone, only to click his tongue once he saw the hour, seven o’ clock in the morning and thus, marking an a hour and a half of being there, waiting for him.
Usually, he wouldn't do that. Someone like Jughead was used to people not giving a damn about him, and when they did it was him the one who wouldn't care about what they've got to say. For Riverdale, someone like Jughead Jones was considered a pariah, somebody they had given up many years ago— and as far as they know, Jughead was pleased with that, never trying to change their perception about him.
Except, perhaps, for one person. The one that should be there (really be there) and not making him have to be her companion. She wished she had something to say, but even then, she couldn't— literally, she couldn't.
"God dammit, Archie." He hissed, locking his phone before he had to throw it against the wall— it wasn't his thing, impulsive, violent reactions were Archie's, not his. But that moment he couldn't help but to think that in his absence, someone had to do so. And it wouldn't be the mute girl right behind him.
As for her, she looked to every side of Pop's, hoping that in any minute Archie would walk in, apologizing for being late. Jughead would throw some snarky response and they would laugh, and the moment Archie, out of education, would invite her in she would decline, happy to for once she could go home. She had never realized how much she missed the warm of her house until those moments came in.
The girl grabbed her phone, typing fast before showing the message “Don't worry, he's just late” to Jughead, hoping that it would convince him for another ten minutes. She wasn't sure how to feel when it didn't.
"Ten minutes is being late, Donna," his eyes rose from staring at her phone to Donna, who could only press her lips in a thin line as some gesture of apologize. "This is his way of telling me he ditches me."
It was then when Donna could fell that her insides churned, as if a disaster was happening right in front of her and she could only stare— and it someway, it was. Archie Andrews was Jughead's only friend (she couldn't count herself, even if for a month she had been hanging around with him... Well, around him), the only one Jughead liked to be around, not let, actually liked to be around. Something that not many, including her, could even think about. And if Jughead made his mind...
"He'll come, Jughead," she typed for him yet again, this time offering a small smile to Jughead— one that he didn't return. "Call him again, just once."
"I'm tired of calling, Donna," there wasn't such thing as anger on his voice, he didn't care about her that much. But he surely sounded tired, hurt, and she couldn't blame him. "He has been avoiding me for the entire month, for why I don't know, and by now, I don't think I care anymore."
Many people, if they knew the storm that began in Donna's mind with that response, would think that if it wasn't pity, sadness or perhaps a foolish crush, would definitely blame her adolescence— that they were just young folks thinking the world was falling apart because one of their friends wouldn't show up for one of their meetings. But they didn't knew anything, they didn't knew Archie, they didn't knew Jughead and they didn't even knew her.
Donna bit her lip, staring at the table as if in doing so she could find the answers to such predicament. And the truth was that she found nothing, she had been searching for them for a long time. A month, to be exactly.
"I'm sorry, Jughead." She typed after a while of silence, trying not to falter on her orthography with her shaking fingers. "I really am."
She was expecting him to brush her off, telling her to go away as he did with everybody else. She hoped he would let her go, and for once, while she had to leave with her guilt at least she would deal with it on her own.
Instead, Jughead just sighed once he saw her message, putting her phone down before handing it back to Donna, but never looking at her while doing so.
"Look, Donna, it's not your fault. You're not Archie, so please just stop try to apologize for him" all the while he had been staring at the outside of Pop's window, seeing the cars come and go, as if he too had been waiting to see Archie coming into the distance, covered in sweat from all of the running and with a nervous smile on his face. She knew he did.
But Archie never came. There were no nervous smiles and no snarky comebacks from Jughead and an awkward invitation to Donna. Instead, there was a mute girl sitting beside a lonely, hurt boy— a boy she had aided to wound.
Part 4
Request: Yes or No
Listened to Special and Pumpkin Spice by Ashnikko while watching this.
(Y/N) blew out the candle, chuckling when his mother clapped her hands.
"Congrats, baby! Oh, why couldn't you have stayed a baby forever?" She asked, pouting as she hugged him. (Y/N) smiled, unwrapping the cupcake.
"I'm off to work but when I get back we'll have your favourite food and watch a movie." She said, grabbing her things, kissing his forehead and leaving. (Y/N) took a bite of the cupcake, licking his lips. He picked up his phone, clicking on the chat he had with Malachai.
'im free today if you still wanna lecture me.'
He sent the message, putting the phone down and finishing his cupcake. (Y/N) threw the wrapper away and washed his hands, drying them before picking up the phone again.
'meet me at Sweetwater river by 6.'
(Y/N) hummed, scrolling through his feed. He paused at a selfie Veronica took. He remembered how serious she seemed about Malachai. (Y/N) wondered how she would react if he convinced Malachai to give him rides from and to school.
"What's up, old man?" (Y/N) asked, walking towards the male. Malachai shot him an annoyed glare.
"I'm not old."
"Right, right." (Y/N) rolled his eyes with a playful grin.
"Come on, it's my birthday and nothing can ruin it, so just go on and give me that stupid lecture of 'you can do better than this' and-" (Y/N) was abruptly cut off when Malachai grabbed him, spinning him around and slamming him against the car door, kissing him deeply. (Y/N) let out a muffled grunt, cut very off guard. Malachai pulled back with a grin.
"Happy birthday, kid."
"Oh, fuck off, dude." (Y/N) groaned at the nickname, trying to play off the shock.
"Are you gonna charge me?"
"Now that you mention it-" (Y/N) laughed when Malachai rolled his eyes dramatically.
"I'm twenty-three, by the way, so don't be calling me old man." Malachai said, keeping him pinned to the car.
"I won't call you old man if you don't call me kid, deal?"
"Only if you don't charge me from now on."
"Well, since you added something I will too. Give me rides-"
"Hell yeah."
"-to school."
"Oh." (Y/N) snorted at Malachai's reaction. He gently squeezed his bicep, earning a squeeze on the hip.
"I wanna piss off some people, so, will you help me?" (Y/N) asked.
"I'm all about annoying people, babe." Malachai replied, leaning in. (Y/N) smiled.
"Deal?"
"Deal." Malachai nodded, closing the space again. This time, (Y/N) was able to kiss him back, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him close. (Y/N) suddenly pulled away causing Malachai to whine.
"You know Hiram, right?" (Y/N) asked. Malachai nodded, brows furrowed.
"I have... Something that could damage his reputation and possibly throw him in jail." (Y/N) said. Malachai frowned.
"What?"
"He was my client like two days ago? Yeah, two days ago. I still have the messages and can prove I was a minor when it happened." (Y/N) explained.
"Why would you wanna blackmail, Hiram? Also, you slept with him?"
"Yeah, not the point. Veronica has this recording of me doing my business or whatever, so I'm using the messages against her but she's still being a nosy bitch." (Y/N) said.
"Break her and the ginger kid up. Hiram hates his guts so you'd be okay in his book while still hurting that skank." Malachai shrugged. (Y/N) hummed.
"Changing the subject. I'm free for a couple of hours and my car is pretty empty..." Malachai trailed off, grinning. (Y/N) chuckled.
"A deal's a deal."
(Y/N) entered Pop's, looking around. He spotted the ginger hair and grinned to himself. He walked by the booth, pretending to be texting someone.
"(Y/N)!" He stopped and turned around, looking at Archie.
"What?" (Y/N) snapped, looking annoyed. Archie looked down.
"Sorry about the other day, I should've just had you and Ronnie chat instead of doing all that." He apologized.
"I trusted you, Andrews. It seems everyone in this damn town is a pawn in Veronica's game." (Y/N) shook his head. His words seemed to affect Archie.
"Sit with me, let me make it up to you." Archie offered, giving him a sweet smile. (Y/N) clenched his jaw before sighing and nodding.
"Okay, fine. You're paying." (Y/N) sat down. Archie let a chuckle slip as he sat down across from him. Archie glanced at his neck. (Y/N) was suddenly very aware of how exposed his new hickies were. He rubbed his neck, looking at the menu.
"Sorry, I shou-"
"Relax, Andrews, everyone stares." (Y/N) assured before ordering some food.
"Are those from your job?" Archie asked. (Y/N) cocked a brow. Time to turn his charm on. He grinned, leaning forward.
"Why? Curious? Jealous?" (Y/N) checked him out, making the ginger flush a bit and clear his throat.
"I-I was just wondering." Archie replied, shrugging lightly. The waitress returned his milkshake and food. (Y/N) took the cherry, biting it off the stem and chewing on it.
"No, they weren't from work." (Y/N) finally answered.
"Oh."
"I get laid outside of work, is it that hard to believe?" (Y/N) asked. Archie shook his head.
"No, no, it's believable-"
"So, you're saying I sleep around?"
"T-That's not-"
"I'm messing with you, Arch, relax." (Y/N) cooed, reaching over and placing his hand over his. He gave him a soft smile, removing his hand. Archie cleared his throat, flustered. (Y/N) started to eat his food.
"Happy birthday, (Y/N)." Pops said as he walked by.
"Thanks."
"It's your birthday? Congrats!" Archie smiled.
"Thanks for your gift." (Y/N) motioned to the food. Archie laughed, nodding.
"You're welcome, (N/N)." (Y/N)'s smile faltered. The only person who called him that was Quill. It sounded odd coming from someone else. (Y/N) quickly regained his composure.
"You can give me other gifts too." He grinned, knee bumping against Archies. The ginger didnt know what to say.
"You're fun to tease, Arch." (Y/N) cooed, finishing his fries and half of his burger.
"I should get going, we're having movie night." (Y/N) said, standing up.
"Thanks for the food, Andrews." (Y/N) smiled. Archie grabbed his wrist as he walked past.
"I'm the one who likes to tease in bed." Archie whispered before letting him go. (Y/N) raised his brows, a soft laugh escaping him.
"Prove it, Andrews." (Y/N) grinned, ruffling up his ginger hair. (Y/N) said bye to Pops, sending Archie a wink as he left the diner.
Trigger Warning: Depression, schizophrenia, self harm
I'm not sure how old Kurtz was but I'm gonna say 15-16. (Y/N) is 17-18.
If anyone with schizophrenia feels offended or wants to inform me on it, please feel free to message me and I'll fix whatever needs to be fixed. Please remember that I don't have schizophrenia so I can only learn from the people who do. Also, please be mindful of the fact that I'm not saying all wards are bad, some are good while others aren't, it really depends on you and how you view your experience.
(Y/N) rested his head against the window, staring at the blurry trees. He could hear Lucie's distant chatter as she tried to start a conversation.
"What happened to Kurtz?" He asked, lifting his head and looking at her. The boy he was supposed to protect, his younger brother, was dead. Lucie swallowed, hazel eyes flickering over to him.
"He.. Some crazy guy killed him." (Y/N) looked at the road in front of them. (Y/N) had lived on the Northside with his aunt after his parents deemed him crazy. His aunt took him in, having the disorder as well. She passed over giving in to the tumor in her brain and Lucie, his older cousin, took custody of him. During that period, (Y/N) had learned that his parents had overdosed and that his brother got addicted. Those two things combined with his disorder drove him to almost end his own life but Lucie found him in time. Sheriff Keller advised her to send (Y/N) to a psych ward until he was better. He didn't feel better.
"We can go to Pop's, get a burger and a milkshake." Lucie said, offering a smile. (Y/N) stayed silent. Her smile dropped.
"Please.. Talk to me, (N/N). I haven't seen you in almost a year." Lucie begged, glancing at him.
'Who's fault is that?' (Y/N) chuckled. Lucie shot him an old look before realization took over.
"You haven't taken your meds, have you?" Lucie sighed, one hand gripping the wheel as she ran a hand through her hair.
'Grab the wheel.'
"No." (Y/N) mumbled. Lucie licked her lips, thinking about what to say.
"What are they saying?" She asked. (Y/N) shifted his attention onto the trees again, choosing not to respond. Having dealt with her own mother being schizophrenic, Lucie was used to hearing someone talking to themselves or seeing things. She wasn't used to a completely emotionless person though. The doctors called it flattening.
"Okay, how about this, I go get some Pop's and you can rest at home. Sounds like a good idea?" She asked.
"Okay." Lucie smiled, happy that she got a response.
"Great. Maybe Betty could keep you company? She was your friend, right?"
"No." Lucie glanced at her cousin, pressing her lips into a thin line.
"Well, she asked about you." Lucie pulled up to their house, giving him a small smile. (Y/N) got out of the car, getting his stuff and taking the house key from her. He walked up to the porch, unlocking the door and entering. Everything was still the same. With a sigh, (Y/N) went up the stairs and entered his old bedroom. It was clean and tidy. On his bed lied a small note and a jacket. He picked it up, looking at the note.
'Welcome home! From Betty C.'
(Y/N) looked at the jacket. It had a design of a band/singer he liked.
'Burn it.' (Y/N) rolled his eyes, ignoring the voice. He looked over at his window, approaching it and gazing at Archie's house. Betty and Archie sat on the steps, chatting. Betty turned her head, noticing him. She gave a small wave. (Y/N) closed the curtains. He fell back onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, looking at Kurtz. The male stayed silent, arm draping over the stomach of his older brother. Even if Kurtz was dead, (Y/N) could at least see him in his hallucinations.
"I should've been there for you."
'He's dead because of you.'
"I should've stayed."
'You were a terrible brother.'
"I love you." (Y/N) whispered. Kurtz pressed a kiss to his forehead, disappearing when someone knocked on the door. (Y/N) stayed in bed, hoping they'd go away.
"(Y/N)? It's Betty!" (Y/N) grunted, getting up and leaving his room. He headed towards the front door and opened it, looking at the two friends.
"Can we come in?" Betty chirped, tilting her head. (Y/N) wanted to say no but maybe the two would keep the voices at bay. He nodded, stepping back and letting them in. (Y/N) closed the door, going into the livingroom and sitting down.
"Did you get my gift?" Betty asked, smiling. (Y/N) hated how positive and energetic she was.
"Yeah."
'She doesn't care about you.'
"I know." (Y/N) mumbled, fiddling with the sleeve of his hoodie. Betty and Archie glanced at each other.
"How was the psych ward?" Archie asked. (Y/N) stared at the ginger.
"Boring." He replied.
"Well, at school we're thinking about starting a club for people with mental illnesses to feel accepted and know others are here for them." Betty said, glancing at Archie.
"We were wondering if you wanted to join? Talk about your experiences?" Betty asked. (Y/N) looked at her.
'They're scared of you. You're a threat.' (Y/N) shrugged.
"Okay." Betty's eyes lit up.
"Great! We'll see you at school." She smiled, standing up. (Y/N) leaned back, letting her know that he didn't want a goodbye hug. Betty and Archie left with small waves. (Y/N) stayed seated on the couch, not really knowing what to do. He was used to being isolated so being able to leave the house was weird. (Y/N) curled up on the couch, ignoring the small shadowy figures that he saw out of the corner of his eye and stared at the tv as if it was on. A sight to behold when Lucie returned.
(Y/N) stared at the school. The people who knew him watched him or whispered to their friends.
"Have a good day." Lucie called. (Y/N) ignored her, hearing the car drive off. He took a deep breath in and pulled down his hoodie sleeves. (Y/N) kept his gaze low as he walked up to the school and entered. Newbies who didn't know him were quickly told who he was. People steered clear of his path. (Y/N) got his schedule as the bell rang and went to class. The teacher knew who he was.
"I'd like to welcome back Mr. (L/N) to Riverdale High." The teacher flashed a pity filled smile.
'Strangle her.' For once, (Y/N) wanted to do exactly what the voice said.
"Please take a seat bedside Mr. Fogarty." She said, motioning to a Serpent.
"Do I have to?" He grunted. The teacher blinked, glancing down at her seating chart.
"Um.. I can change your seat tomorrow." She said, a little nervously. (Y/N) hummed and approached Fogarty, taking a seat beside him. (Y/N) opened his notebook, taking some notes but eventually resorted to doing doodles of the shadowy figure in the corner of the room.
"Dark." The tan male beside him mumbled. (Y/N) looked at him blankly.
"I'm Fangs." Fangs said, extending his hand. (Y/N) looked back at his notebook.
"My brother almost killed you." Was all (Y/N) said. Fangs blinked and it clicked in his head. (Y/N) rested his head on his fist. His mind was blank and he wasn't processing anything the teacher was saying.
"I can give you the notes." Fangs offered suddenly. (Y/N) blinked, looking at him. His gaze shifted onto Kurtz, who stood behind Fangs, looking rather annoyed. (Y/N) looked back at him, searching for some sort of pity in his eyes but only found kindness.
"Whatever." (Y/N) replied, noting that the shadowy figure had disappeared. He stood when the bell rang and went to his next class. Nobody spoke to him. Some people glanced and whispered. It was like that until his last period. (Y/N) looked at Jughead when the male sat besides him.
"Hey."
"Go fuck yourself." Jughead decided not to speak with him for the remainder of class. (Y/N) was relieved to hear the bell but it was short lived. Betty, Archie, and some chick entered the classroom and greeted him.
"You must be (Y/N), heard a lot about you." Veronica said.
"All bad things probably." (Y/N) replied, making it clear he wasn't interested in a friendship.
"Well, I brought the idea up to our principle and we got the all clear." Betty said, smiling. (Y/N) really couldn't care less. His eyes flickered to the figure in the corner.
"What's your disorder again?" Veronica asked.
"None of your fucking buiness." (Y/N) replied automatically. Veronica blinked, taken a back.
"Okayy, let's go to the club room we were able to claim." Jughead said, trying to ease the arising tension. (Y/N) crossed his arms. What a shit show.
Sweet Pea x reader
Chapter Summary: Things are getting off to a great start with Sweet Pea and y/n, but what happens when someone finds out her past?
Word Count: 2428
Chapter 1 • Chapter 3
Tumblr media
You pulled up at the Whyte Wrym parking lot. Worried that your hair was a mess from the wind, you try to smoothen it. "You look good." Sweet Pea reaches his hand out for you. You smile and blush, looking down and taking his hand.
You two went inside and, much to Toni's delight, were still holding hands. Fangs eyed you both. "Cute." He said as he smirked.
Sweet Pea instantly yanked his hand away from yours. He looked at you with red cheeks. "You know how to play pool?"
"No. You wanna show me?" You smiled.
He grabbed a pool stick and put it in your hands. He stood right behind you, towering over you. "Okay bend down." You both bent down to the pool table. Your face felt extremely hot.
"Easy there, Sweets. Big brother is watching." Jughead said. Toni and Fangs were compressing their laughter from your blushing face.
Sweet Pea chose to block all of them out. "Hold the stick like this, and put your hand right here." He positions your arms and hands where they need to go. "And hit the ball." The stick then hit the white ball, sending all others if different directions. He then stood, you standing with him. "Looks like your stripes."
You looked at each other, close together. You were about to say something until a hand slaps Sweet Pea's back hard. "Sweet Pea." FP says, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Can I speak to you in private?" He tightens his grip.
"Sure." Sweet Pea said stiffly. They then both went outside.
They both left you worried for Sweet Pea. FP's dad instincts seem to have kicked in. Once those doors closed, the tight smile on his face was gone. "What the hell do you think your doing in there?"
"I was just teaching her how to play pool-"
"She's not just some cheap piece of meat that you can throw away after getting what you want."
"No! I wouldn't do that to her. I just thought she might have fun-"
FP yanked the collar of his jacket, pointing a finger at him. "You better watch yourself."
"-playing pool! I thought she might have fun playing pool." Sweet Pea defensively put his hands up.
He then let go of him. "Careful, boy. You don't use a girl like that."
Sweet Pea nodded and quickly walked back inside. When you saw him, it looked like he had seen a ghost. "Sweets, you good?" You put a hand on his arm.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm good." You were still pretty worried, so you gently squeezed his arm and let go.
"You wanna finish that pool game?"
After the pool game you talked with the four a while before Sweet Pea stood up. "It's kinda late, I'll take you home."
You gave him directions as you rode to the Northside with him. You stopped at a small house that had no cars in it's driveway. "Are your mom and dad out?" He asked as you hopped off.
"No, I live with my aunt. She's away on another business thing. It's just me right now." You shifted in your place, wanting to change the subject. "Tonight was cool, Pea. Thanks for that."
He nodded. You start to walk to the door when Sweet Pea asked, "What, no goodnight kiss?"
You turned around and looked at him and his teasing smile. You walked up to him and gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek. "Good night, Sweets. Can't wait to see you at school tomorrow." You turned and walked inside.
"Night." He said quietly. When you left he slowly went into the biggest smile ever. He then drove off, excited for tomorrow to come.
What the two of you didn't know was that at that exact moment Reggie was breaking into the sheriff's office to find anything he could on you, and what he found was unexpected. And just what he needed. He couldn't have a rebel at Riverdale High helping the Southside take over the school. Traitors of the Northside need to be punished.
He called Cheryl. "Do you realize what time it is? You have no respect for beauty sleep."
"I got something on y/n."
"I'm listening."
"I don't want to ruin the surprise yet, but get as many people as you can. Tomorrow at lunch we'll show those snakes that if they mess with us, we mess with those they care about."
"See you tomorrow then."
The next day you walked to school, meeting Kevin at the front. You looked at him very excitedly. "I went to the Whyte Wrym last night!"
His mouth flew open. "The Serpents' hang out spot?!" He nodded your head, blushing like crazy. He linked your arms together. "Tell me more."
As you and Kevin were talking, so were Sweet Pea, Toni and Fangs. "Alright dude, how are you going to get her to like you?"
"You think I know?" Sweet Pea said as they all got off their bikes.
"Maybe you should come on stronger?" Toni suggested.
"Or maybe we should help make them closer." Fangs nodded. Toni reluctantly agreed, and Sweet Pea had come to the conclusion that his friends were going to embarrass the crap out of him today.
You were walking and talking with Kevin when you both see Sweet Pea with Fangs and Toni in the hallways. "You have to go talk to him." Kevin told me.
"Are you sure? I feel more confident in the arms of my favorite gay." You said, playfully clinging to him.
"I'm rooting for you two now, so starting today I will do what I can to support this ship. Now go talk to him." You took a quick break, nodded, and started to walk towards Sweet Pea, but Kevin grabbed your arm. "Just promise you'll be careful?"
"Promise." And with that you were going to walk towards them, but Kevin grabbed your arm again.
"Wait, we have to make this subtle."
"What?"
"We should walk by and pretend to not have noticed them until he says hi. Come on." He grabs your arm and links it with his again.
"Your putting way too much thought into this." You whispered.
"Sh. It'll work."
You then walked closer to him, and just as Kevin said, he took notice in you. "Y/n. Hey." He waved, kind of nervous on how you'd react.
"Oh, hey Sweet Pea!"
"I'll leave you two be!" Kevin said.
You shook your head. "You're a big a loser as I am, Kev." He fixed his strap on his bag and smiled. "See you at lunch." He waved at you and Sweet Pea.
"What's with you two?" Sweet Pea smiled.
"Nothing. Just dorks being dorks together. Hey guys." The other two nod.
Toni taps Fang's arm, and he nods. He goes up to you and fake accidentally pushes you into Sweet Pea. "So how's your morni- oh crap. My bad y/n."
Your body goes forward into Sweet Pea, grabbing onto his jacket to stabilize yourself. "It's okay Fangs."
You then went to stand next to Sweet Pea. Fangs eyed Toni, meaning that it was her turn. She went next to you and leaned on your shoulder hard. "So, y/n, what do you think of the Whyte Wrym?"
Her leaning on you made you stumble into Sweet Pea's side, grabbing onto his arm. "Uh, it was cool. It felt really homey. Hey, you guys got your schedules today, right?"
"Yeah." Sweet Pea said, looking down at you. You were still holding onto his arm.
"Can I see?" They all handed you their papers. "Toni you have bio with me, Fangs we have US History, Sweets we got PE. We all have English together." The bell rang and you gave back the papers. "Toni let's go together."
"Sure." You both started walking towards your class. You turned and smiled, waving towards the two boys, with them waving back.
Right after you turned back around Sweet Pea punched Fangs in the shoulder. "What the hell was that?!"
"She held your arm, didn't she?" Fangs said while holding onto his shoulder.
The rest of your day went by smoothly and quickly. Biology with Toni was fun, and seeing how Fangs was a secret genius in History was interesting. Geometry was kind of slow, but that's what you had Archie there for. Now was fourth period: English.
You all were getting new seats, so all of you were at the perimeter of the room. "Is it me or is there a lot of people staring at us?" You asked Fangs.
"It's the jackets and tattoos. It scares them."
One guy walks past the four of you as he is assigned his seat, saying "Be careful babe, these guys are criminals."
Sweet Pea is extremely close to throwing a punch at this guy, but is stopped as you link your arm to Sweet Pea's, leaning onto him. "No, I think I'd prefer them to some high school has been waiting to happen. Thanks anyways, babe." You turned to Sweet Pea. "What a privledged asshole."
He let out a laugh. You really didn't care about where they came from. He wondered why that was, but dismissed the question.
The teacher then called out your name, followed by Toni, which meant that she sat behind you. When the teacher called him, it was the seat next to yours. He tried his very best to hide his smile. Fangs was behind him. It was perfect.
Your teacher now passed out the school books for Romeo and Juliet. She explained the gist of this unit. What the quizzes will be on, how we need to find literary devises, what writing assignments they will have. It was all so foreign to Sweet Pea. English was his worst subject. He's going to look like an idiot in front of you.
You were all tasked with reading Act I Scenes i-iii. You had to decipher what was going on in the story, and list out literary devices on what is was relating to and what it meant. Sweet Pea was going to die.
"Hey." You said, snapping him out of his thoughts. "You good?"
"No." He said without thinking. "I mean yeah! It's just that I'm crap at English."
"Oh, then let's work on the homework together after school." He wondered how a person could be so nice. "You can pick me up when I'm done with my shift from Pop's."
"When do you get off?"
"Give me your number and I could text you when." This came out without the intention of anything except exchanging information. Once you realized what you said, you felt your cheeks get hot.
You silently handed him your phone. He put in his number, finding it sad that you were more smooth than he is. He still seemed to like being around you.
He gave it back to you with a new contact in your phone. You began to get cold from sitting under the air vent. You started to rub your arms and let down your hair for any sort of warmth.
Sweet Pea noticed this and shimmied out of his jacket. "Here." He handed it to you.
"Oh, no Sweets it's fine-"
"No it's not. You're cold, right? Put on the jacket."
You took it, giving him a teasing smile. "What?"
"You worried about me, Sweets?"
He smirked back. "You care about what I think of you, y/n?"
"Good one." You said, biting your lip as you smiled and looked down at the book to read. Sweet Pea looked at you in the oversized serpent jacket with your hair down. You looked hot and cute at the same time. He then looked back down at his own book, not understanding most of what he was reading. Meanwhile, Toni and Fangs were silently enjoying the show.
The bell rang and what began was what Reggie had been waiting for all day. Lunch.
They walked you to the cafeteria, which you normally don't eat at but you all heard that Reggie had important news. You parted ways with them once you saw your five friends over at a table.
"Oh, my God." Veronica said, staring at you. Kevin looked at you, then widened his eyes and looked again at you. You sat down next to Kevin, wondering why everyone was staring. Betty put a hand over her mouth to try to stop herself from laughing.
"Uh, y/n," Archie said, scratching the back of his head.
"Is that Sweet Pea's?" Jughead bluntly asked.
You looked down in embarrassment and saw that you were still wearing Sweet Pea's serpent jacket. You put your head down and played with the oversized sleeves. "Maybe."
"Wow, I was not expecting that." Veronica said. "What a pleasant surprise."
"Give it to me. I'll give it back to him." Jughead reached his hand out, waiting for the jacket to be given.
"Why?" You whined. "It's comfy. I can see why you guys always wear it."
"We don't wear it for comfort, y/n. It's a symbol of a tribe. It shouldn't just be handed to someone who's cold. It means a lot more than that!"
"So you're saying I'm important to him?" You teased, giving him a smile.
"Now y/n."
You rolled your eyes and took off the jacket. He grabbed it and went over to where his other friends were sitting, angrily saying something you couldn't hear. Sweet Pea shrugged in response and said something else. He then looked at your table, causing everyone else to look away. You kept your gaze at him, giving him a knowing look and a shrug. He smiled in return.
"Eyes in front." Jughead said as he stomped back over to your table. You turned back around and rested your chin on your hand.
"Are you jealous because their chemistry rivals that of bughead?" Kevin asked. Betty giggled and Jughead aggressively munched on his chips.
You turned to Betty. "Has Jughead ever let you wear his jacket?" She smiled and nodded. You jolted up. "What- Jug!"
Before he could protest, Reggie stood on top of a table. "Attention everybody. I have an announcement to make."
Author Note: Sorry, I said I would reveal y/n's past in this chapter, but I wrote a lot and thought this would be a good place to leave off. I just want this to be more fluff than angst.
The Perfect Cast
Sweet Pea x reader
Riverdale + Supernatural crossover (kind of)
Inspiration from @sgarrett49
Summary: You and Kevin are planning the perfect school musical based on the Supernatural episode "Fan Fiction", and you know who would be the perfect lead role.
Author Note: Let's just pretend that Mitch is alive.
(also proof that Sweet Pea can sing)
Word Count: 3701
Tumblr media
When Kevin came to you asking for you to help with the school musical, you were more than happy. What made you ecstatic was what the musical would be. Your favorite show, Supernatural.
It was a story of two brothers, Sam and Dean. They hunt things that go bump in the night, and keep fighting no matter what. They were heroes that needed no gratitude, only each other. Just them, their car, and the road.
In the show, they break the forth wall and have their lives written in books by a "prophet" of the Lord, but that's a whole different conversation. There is an episode where a school makes a musical of the books, which is basically a musical about the show. That is what this musical will be about.
"So," Kevin said. "We got the budget and what each of the finances will cost, but we still don't have the most important thing, a cast." It was just the two of you and a notepad and pen in the auditorium. "First things first, Sam and Dean."
You tapped your pen on your notepad, thinking. "Archie?" Kevin suggested.
"Too boy next door."
"Reggie?"
"Maybe. I'm just not feeling it." You thought hard. Then an idea came into your head, causing you to sit straight up in your chair. You were excited about this, and by nature a very passionate person. "Sweet Pea!"
"What?" He looked at you confusedly.
"Sweet Pea should be Dean! It makes total sense."
"Okay, um, have you ever even talked to him?"
"No." You were still smiling, not letting that set you back.
"Do you even know any Southsiders?"
"Jughead." You said cheerfully.
Kevin looked at you as if your crazy. He took your hands in his. "Let me tell you a little something about the Southside. They are tough, and mean, and do not like the Northside. And the one who hates the Northside most of all is Sweet Pea."
You shook your head. "Everybody needs to stop seeing the Southsiders as people to be feared or hated. I'm not changing my mind."
Kevin sighed. "Fine. If you must know Jughead's Serpent club should be ending in a few minutes."
You quickly stood up and hugged him. "Already on it!"
"When he says no, I have every right to say I told you so!" He called out.
"You have my consent!" You called back.
You headed to the room where the Serpents held their 'boardgame club'. When you got there, you were nervous to knock. You checked the time, not wanting to interrupt anything.
You knocked. Jughead opened the door. "Y/n, what's up?"
"I need to speak to Sweet Pea." You smiled. He gave you a look, and you nodded.
"Alright. Everyone dismissed." Jughead said as you stepped in with him. "Pea, you stay." Everybody started to head out, leaving the tall guy with the snake tattoo on his neck leaning on a desk. Jughead, patted my shoulder. "He's all yours."
"Thanks Jug." You walked up to him. "So you're Sweet Pea?" You smiled.
"Look, whatever your Bulldog boyfriend said about me, it's probably fake. I don't need you Northsiders starting up something that isn't my fault."
Your smile faded, and you look at him, confused. "What? First of all, I'm not here for any beef with anyone. Second, I don't have a boyfriend, and if I did it wouldn't be a bulldog. I mean, really? They're all full of themselves and think they're badass when they're just a stupid football team. And don't even get me started on Reggie Mantle. He's just, ugh."
Sweet Pea didn't really notice looks because this town was full of deceiving good looking people, but after you saying that he just seemed to view you as an attractive person. He let out a small laugh, crossing his arms. "So why are you here?"
"I'm one of the people in charge of the school musicals, and this year we're doing a Supernatural musical."
"Supernatural? Like the show about demons and stuff?"
"Yup!" You smiled. He looked at you, amused. You seemed really excited for this. "Have you seen it?"
"I've watched a few episodes here and there. Why are you telling me this?" He looked you up and down.
"I want you to play Dean." You said cheerfully.
There was a pause. "No."
You instantly frowned. "Why not?"
"Why would you want me in a stupid musical?"
You sit down on one of the chairs beside him. "I'm just going to ignore that insult." He gave a tsk in return. "I want you in my stupid musical because you're a perfect fit for Dean. Dean cares for his family, does everything for them. Even when he gets roped into crazy stuff and it seems like fighting is useless, he never stops. He feels that he needs to protect his family before he protects himself. I see that in you, but y'know, I could be wrong." You couldn't help your sarcasm.
He didn't know how to respond. He wasn't expecting that from someone he didn't know, especially a Northsider. "Why do you think that? You've never even talked to me before."
"I don't need to talk to you to know you. I'm usually there when the Northside v. Southside stuff happens, I just don't make my presence known. I'm Jughead's friend, so if something happens and he needs help, I'm there. I just don't announce it."
He was feeling weird about you. You were different than all the Northsiders. Even the ones that helped made a big deal and announced it to the world, but not you. You didn't need gratitude, and now you were saying all these things about him when the two of you have never even met.
"You don't care that I'm a Southsider? Wouldn't want some gangster trashing up your set, right?"
"Why would I judge you on where you come from? I judge you on the kind of person you are, and right now I see a loyal friend to his people." You said all too casually.
He wanted to see you more often, to get to know you. You were such an interesting person and different than most in Riverdale. You seemed to think differently than the whole town, North and South alike. Which was the only reason he responded with, "Fine."
You smiled and got up. You put a hand on his arm. "Thanks! I'll see you around, okay?" And with that, you left. Sweet Pea suddenly wanted to binge watch a certain show now.
You went back to the auditorium, Kevin watching you make your way back. You plopped into your seat. "Boom." Kevin looked at you, shocked. You just wrote down Sweet Pea's name, then another amazing idea came to you. "Fangs should be Sam, and Jughead should be Cas."
"Are you just purposely casting Serpents now?" Kevin asked, worried for how smooth this wouldn't be if the three of them were the lead roles.
"No, but name a better trio that's more fit for this."
He looked at you, then sighed. "Go ahead."
You stood, hugging him and rushing to Pop's. You asked Jughead if you could talk to Fangs, to which he asked the reason why. "For the musical."
Jughead looked at you, amused. "Good luck with that."
"I mean Sweet Pea agreed, so this shouldn't be too hard right?"
He choked on his milkshake. "Sweet Pea said yes to that? Why? How?"
"I guess I just have that affect on people. Let's go."
You both headed to his trailer, Jughead behind you as you knocked. It wasn't too hard getting him to agree, after saying that Sweet Pea would be the other lead. "Wait, so who would be Castiel?" Fangs asked.
You then turned to Jughead and smiled cheekily. "No. Absolutely not."
"Please Jug, it'll be adorable! Right Fangs?"
"Yeah, Jug. It'll be cool." You exchanged grins.
He huffed. "Fine, but you owe me Pop's." You thanked both of them, then went home to plan out the other roles. You texted Kevin and you both came up with a final list.
Betty would be Donna, Veronica would be Jody, Archie would be Bobby, Reggie would be Crowley, Moose would be John, and Mitch would be Mary.
You let everybody know what roles they played, and they all agreed. The next day Kevin told almost everybody to meet after school. He then asked you to let Sweet Pea and Fangs know, which you agreed to do.
Much to Sweet Pea's surprise, you had two classes together. He saw you and Fangs talking together. Much to his annoyance, you had four classes with him. He wanted to know if you two talked before. Are you guys friends? Why hadn't he introduced you to him?
You saw him staring at you in the hallway with Fangs, and you brightened up instantly. You then tugged on Fangs' arm to drag him with you to Sweet Pea. "Hey, Sweet Pea." You said as you made your way towards him. "So you guys have a meeting for the musical right after school in the auditorium."
"You guys?" He questioned.
"Yup. Fangs is playing the other lead, Sam. I thought that you guys would play brothers pretty well."
Sweet Pea nodded his head, looking pissed. He felt less special. Although Fangs felt a little scared by his face you just kept smiling, not finding anything scary. "See you later then." He said.
"See you later Sweets. Bye Fangs." And with that you left.
Fangs clasped his friend's shoulder. "You good?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." He said, a little harsher than he meant to say. He cleared his throat. "Hey, what did y/n say to you about the play?" He stared daggers into him. It wasn't intentional, Sweet Pea just felt jealousy towards his friend for a reason that he couldn't figure out.
"She said that you were the other lead and that I would play your brother."
"That's it?"
"Yeah." Sweet Pea's features softened as he nodded. "You sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
Fangs smiled. "Maybe cause you're into her." He patted his shoulder. "See you later Sweets." He then left, leaving a confused and frustrated Sweet Pea alone with his feelings.
After school you all met at the auditorium. Kevin had the group sit in a circle while you stayed silent with your clip board, looking over the rehearsal schedule to make sure nothing was wrong. "I think it'll be good for all of us to introduce ourselves and our role so that we can work well together."
Everybody introduced themselves and their roles, with Reggie and Moose eyeing the three Serpents. You were brought out of your concentration when you heard Reggie get mad and yell, "This is bull!"
Kevin turned to you for support. You sighed. "Kev, you really need to grow a pair." You then turned to Reggie. "Reggie, what's wrong?"
"Why the hell do these three Southside snakes get to play the leads while us Northsiders are pushed to the back?"
"So you have a problem with my casting?" You were calm and in your seat, while Reggie was huffing and puffing and making a big deal.
He pointed to Sweet Pea. "Why the hell is he Dean while I'm stuck as Crowley? I think I'd be better for the lead, don't you think babe?" He smirked at you.
Sweet Pea shot up, going straight to Reggie. "I think I'd show her some respect if I were you."
You then stood, "Sweets, it's fine. I got this." You then started walking towards Reggie. "He is Dean because he protects people and only gets into the gunfire when necessary. You are Crowley because you don't care about the consequences of your stupid ass decisions and are always starting something unnecessary. Now sit." He angrily sat, with the whole group silent except for the munching of Jughead towards his chips.
You sat back down. Nobody said a thing, there was only small laughter from your friends. The Serpent boys couldn't help but smile at you. It was time somebody put Reggie in his place. "Look, if anyone has problems then talk to me or Kevin. I'm usually chirpy and easy going but now and then a dumbass will get the best of me."
You looked at Kevin expectantly. He cleared his throat. "These are the rehearsal dates and the script." He then passed it out to everyone. "You are all free to practice your lines with each other on your own today, but tomorrow will be a group reading. We will call each of you up to right notes on your scripts. Until then, just practice."
Sweet Pea stared at you as you were talking to Betty and Veronica while writing on their script. Fangs saw this. "Careful you don't drool." Sweet Pea only scoffed in response.
"Let's just go over our lines." He said, looking down at the script. Them as well as Jughead began to read out their lines, and Fangs and Jughead had to agree that Dean kind of seemed like Sweet Pea.
"Come on, Sammy. Dad wants us to pick up where we left off. Saving people, hunting things, the family business." You heard him rehearsing, and kept looking up at your work. He was good.
"Jug." You called out, nodding for him to come over. He did while Kevin called out for Fangs at the same time. He awkwardly stood there waiting for his friends.
Archie saw this and went up to him. "Hey man."
"What do you want Andrews?"
He noticed that he wasn't really staring at him, but more focused on you. "Just came to talk. Sorry about Reggie, you know how he is. You know y/n?"
He then turned to look at him. "Not really."
"She's a pretty fun person. I think you two would make good friends. Who knows, maybe even more?" Archie had his arms crossed as Sweet Pea was caught off guard. Archie laughed in response. "Look man, if you like her, go and talk to her. I think she'd be good for you."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"I mean that you're always angry, usually at us. But she's mostly happy and cheerful all the time. She stood up for you, which she doesn't really do. She likes to stay unnoticed. Maybe she could make you happier."
Archie then walked away, followed by you calling out his name. "Hey." He said when he got there.
"Hey." You quietly said.
As you grabbed the script and went to writing, Sweet Pea spoke up. "You okay?"
"Yup, I'm good now." He nodded your head, eyes not leaving the papers.
"I just wanted to say that you were pretty funny. Finally someone was able to shut Mantle up." He looked away from you and let out a small laugh.
You looked up and smiled. "Thanks. And thank you for sticking up for me." He looked at you. "Saying that he should start showing me respect. That was really cool of you." You finished up and gave the papers back to him. He awkwardly nodded and grabbed the packet from you.
The next day after the group reading Fangs and Jughead nearly forced Sweet Pea to go and talk to you. He asked if he could stay with you because he needed help on his role. He didn't know what other excuse to give, but you were more than happy to.
You helped him out of being awkward when he spoke and acted. You made jokes the whole time, causing him to smile. It was just the two of you, so he didn't really need to be tough in front of others. He felt embarrassed every time you gave him compliments. He didn't really know how to respond.
"Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole." He added a teasing smile, sitting next to you.
"That was a lot better. Very charming." You said. He smiled at you. You were just so calm and soothing right now. "I think we could stop now. I think it's getting late."
He then checked the time. "You hungry? We could go get some Pop's." He hoped his boldness would pay off.
"Sure. I kind of feel bad that you're buying me food though."
"Nah, it's fine. I kept you here anyways. I should thank you." He nodded his head for you to come, and you two walked outside at the parking lot, him showing you his motorcycle. He got on. "Hop on."
"You're not a reckless driver, right?" You were partly teasing and partly nervous.
"It'll be fine. Let's go." And with that you got on and held on tight to him.
You got there and ordered. You were both having a fun time. Sweet Pea felt relaxed around you. As the two of you talked you noticed how attractive he was. There was something about him that you couldn't figure out. For an unknown reason you just wanted to spend more and more time with him.
All was well until Reggie walked in. He saw the two of you together, and decided he should join in. He liked you. Sure, you embarrassed him earlier, but you were hot and feisty in his eyes. He liked that.
He walked up to your booth. "Excuse me." He said, taking a seat next to you, with you sliding to the window in response. "What did I miss?" He smirked, eyes glued on Sweet Pea.
"What do you want Mantle?"
"I just came to say sorry to the lovely lady." He then looked at you. "I figured we got off to a bad start." You gave him a tight smile. He then took a fry from your plate. "So what did I miss?"
Sweet Pea glared at him. "School." You said, your voice monotone.
He nodded and took another fry. "That's not your food." Sweet Pea said in a restrained voice.
"Yeah, your right. Could you order something for me? Thanks." He then turned to an angry looking you. "Speaking of school, I was thinking you should join the River Vixens. You could cheer for my games. I think you'd look hot in the outfit." He put his hand on your thigh.
Sweet Pea shot up, having had enough. He grabbed on Reggie's letterman jacket, yanking him up. "Don't touch her like that." He said through gritted teeth.
Reggie shoved him off. "Why not? You catching feelings or something?"
You shot up as well, about to split them up when you heard Pop's voice. "What's going on here?"
"Reggie was just leaving." You said. Reggie then angrily walked out, leaving you to explain what happened to Pop while Sweet Pea payed for the food.
You two went outside he leaned against his bike. "I'm, uh, sorry that all that happened." He avoided your gaze. "We were having a good time and that screwed it up."
You walked up to him and hugged him. He was taken by surprise for a few moments, before he hesitantly wrapped his arms around your waist. "You did all that because of Reggie. He was the one that ruined things. You're kind of my hero." You said as you were against him.
When he got home, he looked over his lines and took a look at the notes you wrote. They were mostly tips and helpful stage directions, but he also noticed something else. You wrote little encouraging comments or compliments. Sometimes you drew happy faces with them. He smiled.
The next day at the auditorium everybody was in a group reading while sitting in a circle. You guys decided to skip the songs and do that towards the end. When you got to the songs, you were not prepared for what you heard.
Sweet Pea started singing one of the songs, causing you and Kevin to immediately look at each other. He mouthed the word wow, and you mouthed I know. It seemed like everybody else was surprised as well.
When he finished you weren't thinking when you said, "Holy shit."
He looked at you, a mixture of confusion and worry with him. "What?"
"That was really good!" He smiled. Fangs then gave him a look, and his smile immediately fell off of his face.
For the next few weeks you and Sweet Pea practiced your lines while joking around and having fun together. What you two would do was practice for about twenty minutes, then just talk, go out to eat, or hang out at the Whyte Wrym.
You had begun to develop feelings for him. Although to others he seemed scary and was always mad at something, but you didn't see that at all. He was a gentleman in your eyes, who always knew how to make you laugh. Being around him was always fun, and he made you happy.
Although Reggie had been trying to impress or flirt with you, you never paid any attention to him. Sweet Pea had almost gotten into fights with him over the way he treated you, but you always interjected. To make him feel better you would give him a hug and talk him out of being mad.
Sweet Pea's feelings for you only grew as you two spent more and more time together. Reggie treated you like property, and Sweet Pea was always ready to beat the crap out of him for you in a heart beat. But you wouldn't let him, always telling him that you'd be worried if he got hurt. You would always tell him something that made him feel better, with your warm smile making him melt.
It was the day of the musical, and all day Sweet Pea was getting teased by his friends to grow a pair and ask you out. All day he responded that you guys were just friends, and that's the way that you'll always see the two of you. But they were right. He needed to get it out of his system.
"Hey," you said, coming into a dressing room to see him in the whole Dean get up. "I just wanted to say good luck. You're gonna be awesome." You took a seat right next to him.
"Thanks." He gave you a nervous smile. It was now or never. "Um, so after the show, I was thinking that the two of us can go out somewhere."
"That sounds cool. We should invite more people." You suggested.
"Uh, no. I mean, uh," he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Hey," you put a hand on his shoulder. "You okay? You can tell me anything."
He took all the courage he could muster up and went for it. "I want to go out with you. I mean like a relationship. I want to say that you're mine, and put my arm around your shoulders, and kiss you whenever I want."
You said nothing, which he took as a rejection. "You know what, just forget it. It was a stupid idea anywa-" he was cut off by your lips. You kissed him passionately, waiting for this moment for what seemed like forever. He then returned the kiss, putting a hand on your waist while yours were on his face.
You smiled when you pulled back for air. "Yes, I'd love to go out with you." He smiled, about to say something when an alarm from your phone went off. "Looks like it's show time. Break a leg, Winchester."
