Reading Tikoh’s FE before the event was such a good idea because now i’m reading the comments on the OOCGranblue account’s post of the screenshot describing how Ferdinand forced Shannon to eat her father, and see people going “what the fuck is going on with that event” and “i haven’t played granblue in a while hey what the fuck” or “should i read this event because what the fuck”, with various “i had a double take reading this screen i can’t believe they went this far” 

meanwhile all i think is “they don’t know the whole scene was described in detail in Tikoh’s FE months ago. The cannibal has been living in the code of the game for months and none of us knew. This one sentence screenshot is nothing compared to the actual scene”

aside from the cannibalism flashback (that is freaky as fuck in the event too but stripped from a lot of the most horrifying context around it), Ferdinand’s brand of fucked up was so different this event, but, hey at least i’m glad even casuals are going back at it going “hey what the FUCK did i just read”

#like yes i hate Ferdinand with all of my might #but i love what he brings to the game #mainly one more reason to remember that granblue never hesitated being fuucked up as hell #and personally i love the gore/tragic direction the events take #i've also seen a lot of people gush about how the event was one of the best in a while #and while personally i'd still say that like StW was soo great #i didn't read many event this year so i can't really compare #but i'm just so glad that apparently everyone agrees this event fucking slaps #and it may be because now we have an antagonist that is actually ruffling our feathers #bc i think we as a fandom became too used to the likes of Belial and Lobelia #like y'eah yeah the serial killers are hot we know we know' #so now just a brand of fucked up that's so hard to like? that's some damn work here i lvoe it here #(and personally i'm just glad that some of my favorite former-R/SR chara are linked to it <33) #(i'm still so happy about their development and now involvement in story bigger than they ever imagined) #man this event was GOOD #(the other take i see everywhere online is 'wow Randall is mad in love with Feather huh' and YES LETS GO WE ALL SEE IT LETS GO) #ichablogging gbf #ichablogging vinweap
