About your question, well...PT Dib became kind of a dakr corner in my mind. A place I went to sulk when things went bad in life, went to express frustrations and let out feelings I had caged up, and all that dakr energy kept building and trailing behind me as times changed and things got a little better for me. So I had to take a break from it, for my own mental well-being. But that dark corner has a purpose, it's a good garbage chute, a recycler, a place where I can put in bad thoughts and feelings and transforms them into something that helps people or at least entertain them. When life gets bad, I return ot it. And well...let's just say I might need that dark corner a lot more very soon :)

((I'm in a hc/world building mood in relation to psychic trainers so my bs continues:

The biggest thing about psychic trainers is making sure to take them out before they can set up. While this is true for a lot of trainers (and especially in BDSP where the post game rematches against gym leaders and elites is competitive af), I notice this is especially true for pretty much any psychic trainer you face the first time around.

Reflect and Light Screen, along with sp attack stat buffs are the first moves that are pulled off; you see the first two with Lucian while the latter is more Will's specialty. Will also has a nasty habit of using Confuse Ray right off the bat, which prolongs the battle. The longer the battle goes on, the higher the odds of the match going in Will's favour. Having a successful Confuse Ray allows him to buff his stats before whipping out the most powerful psychic moves his pokemon know.

Basically, if you do not come out strong and swinging right out of the gate, you will lose or have a good chunk of your team wiped out, thus winning by the skin of your teeth.

I rarely, if ever see psychic trainers be aggressive and heavy hitting from the get go, and I believe this is due to the whole brains over brawn mentality, or the whole playing mind games thing (Get it? Because psychic powers are based in the mind? /booooo). Psychics know the power of the mind and thought, so they incorporate this into their battle strategies and make the use of every trick in the book to get the upper hand.

While some psychic moves are quite powerful in and of themselves, they are at their peak when the set up is just right.

Side note: Trick Room is a move you really need to watch. I notice Lucian uses this in game, and I believe Will would as well for some of his slower mons.))
