Season 12 Finale
So I finally got to watch the finale. I ended up making comments along my viewing of it. So I thought I’d share it with y’all. You guys might not share the same opinions but that’s okay. This is my first time doing this as well.
Goggles. Killed me. Nice to have a humor aspect when I'm so freaking nervous.
Being a lunatic gets you somewhere. Saved their life.
Definitely much better writing this episode than the last one. I finally got to see why everyone was upset.
Sam's speech though, definitely making me get teary eyed. It's nice seeing Sam step up as a leader and do what he believes is right.
I too would take an injured Dean over 10 hunters. And the fact that Dean just said Sam was ready for this. My god that makes me proud
Dean is finally getting his confrontation with his mom and the closure he needs. I'm sobbing. I'm not okay. And Jensen my god.... Fucking great acting.
Sitting here watching Ketch and Dean fight. MARY WAKE UP MARY SHOT HIM! EEEEEEEEEE YAY MARY!
On a less spazzing note, I personally have a love hate thing with Ketch. My god was he a good villian.
Oh god Jared you brilliant actor you. The look of terror on Sam's face when he heard Lucifer was back. The fear in his eyes and movements. Holy cow even the moment of thinking all of the options over in those few seconds before Sam passed.
Okay that hug. I'm crying all over again. Two hugs in one episode. They're both so heartfelt. AHHHH THE FEELS.
So my thoughts on this episode before I start my little sidelines to the last episode. So watching Who We Are as compared to There's Something About Mary is so much better. This episode was very well written, very well executed, and the cinematography to it all was so well done. Like I can't even stress it enough on just how amazing it was to me. I know some people will disagree and that's okay. It's how I precieved the episode. And honestly, it was a roller coaster of emotions. They didn't try to overpower the comedy due to the extension of plot line in this episode. They didn't overkill. It was a nice little thing in this entire episode. It was also very refreshing to see how they developed the characters in this episode. Dean finally got to say some things that we've been wanting him to confrot. Along with Mary. Some hate Mary, some love her. Hell, some even say John is the better of the two. And that's the thing, parents are going to mess up, they're going to have faults. Which retracts to the statement from the episode Twigs and Twine and Tasha Banes. Tasha is right, they're not perfect. But what matters is the parents try to do what's right and what's best for the children. Mary essentailly made up for it in a sense. Which I'm happy to have seen happen. We finally got the family moment we wanted from the beginning. And while I disagree with Mary's choices, she just like Sam thought they would be helpful. Sam wasn't the only one blind to BMoL. He probably would've ended up like Mary had he stuck around and didn't have Dean beside him. This and Mary needed distance so while helping the boys, attempting to make things right, make the world a better place and adjust, she got that in her mind by joining them. So those are my thoughts for this episode.....
Aaaaaaaaaand now onto heartbreak number two!
My god I'm a wussy.... Showing the road so far and I'm already getting teary eyed. Pull yourself together Ela! You got this!
Oh a lake and pretty scenery. Nice. Cute distraction to the fact MY HEART IS ABOUT TO BE BROKEN!
Pshyco, tea-swilling asses. XD
ROWENA NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
And Sam's face when he answered. :(
Cas you precious bean you. Yes, everybody does poop. Kinda funny it took reading about it to figure it out though.
I just had a very high squeak come out from Dean punching Crowley.... That wasn't a human noise at all....
Crowley's face when he knew Sam would help. Then the drop when he said if he can't help they'd kill him.
Big, beautiful, lumbering piles of flannel. Yes I too always place my bets on the boys. The one thing Crowley always did know was that they will win. He never underminded them like most did in the past.
My god Cas definitely being a precious bean with all this research.
Cas I really hope the future you saw wasn't the nephilum tricking you.... Is Lucifer's son after all...
Cas' face at the talk of the French Mistake. XD
BOBBY!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:D
Nice seeing a world where they weren't born. Definitely let's them know they matter and they're important.
Oh my god.... Bye Boys. :( Crowley you sacrificed yourself.... My heart....
Cas baby!! NOOOOOOO!
Well Mary got to punch the devil in the face. :( But she might be dead too.....  Poor Dean.
I'm officialy just.... What? So Rowena is dead, Cas, and even Crowley.... Chances are though Crowley and Cas will come back.... Maybe....  If Misha doesn't come back I won't be made. Cas played his part in what he needed to do. That and Misha has been acting on another show right? If this was Misha's time then I'm not really mad about it. And for Mary, she did say she would die for her boys. She might've done just that. Essentially it was a decent way to have tied off the season. But I just can't get over this. Although admittedly, the hype they made us think that it would be super horrible turned out a bit wrong. Needless to say I'm okay with how this episode was done. But one thing for sure about everyone dying in Supernatural was literally a joke tossed in. At least it's how it seems to me. Like hey, how many people can we kill in one episode?
But overall I give them props. No matter how badly or how well written it was, it made me cry. I used to not be a big person on crying when it came to TV until a certain amount of shows came into my life. I can literally count them on one hand. But I haven't cried this much since Ultear died in Fairy Tail or even when the whole reveal of Igneel happened. One thing for sure is this finale is going to stick with me whether I see it as a good or bad way.
