Also another travel tip is if you can, grab an Oyster card (which is FREE with a small refundable deposit) and preload an amount onto it. When using an Oyster Card you’ll have a maximum daily capped amount that you can spend in one day. This means that after doing 3 or 4 journeys, the rest of the day’s travel will be totally free around the whole of London! (This is for using trains btw if I didn’t day) Also the ‘boris bikes’ are reasonably cheap and great for a ride around the city.

For a cheap day out there are loads of amazing free museums and art galleries around London including the Tate modern (MUST VISIT), Tate Brit which is older art, and the saatchi which is smaller (you won’t need a whole day just an hour or two) and more contemporary. The science museum, natural history museum and the British museum are also all great!In terms of actual places, I’d suggest Hyde park which is, y’know a park but it is really lovely if the weather is good. Also I think everybody should experience a shopping trip along oxford street bUt don’t go on a Saturday bc it gets super busy. If you’re a Sherlock fan than obviously Baker Street is a must and it’s just around the corner from madam tussauds (its a wax figure museum it’s really cool!)And finally my favourite place is Camden!! Walk along the river,check out the cool markets, there are sO many cute side streets and little quirky individualist shops. It’s just a great place to walk around as it looks fantastic. There’s graffiti everywhere and giant shoe sculptures hanging off of store fronts. Essentially this is the home to the hipsters of London. (Bonus: for some quality British fish and chips go into poppies it’s super cute and delicious) Ok that’s it for my long ass tour :)
