it’s a pity that we saw so little of zuko and katara’s actual friendship within the show because i think it would have been very amusing to watch her pointedly ask him deeply uncomfortable questions forcing him to fully confront the ugly truths of his own colonialist privilege, for her own cathartic amusement, until he snaps and maybe even cries, because i know for a fact that she would do this, and had atla had a slightly longer episode order we would have gotten to witness it. i mean the show is already excellent as is im just saying it’s kind of a shame we missed out on this one thing, yknow?
