A trip to the head of a depressed person
Hello.Ā
I donāt post much, rather not at all, but sometimes I feel like I really wanna say something to the whole world.
Today, I would wanna show you how it looks like in a head of a depressed person. I mean, there are tons of books of studies and researches from different psychologists anf psychiatrists about depressed people, yet I believe that if you donāt go through anything yourself, you donāt really know what it really is like (Iām not only talking about the depression - I wish any of you wouldnāt have to go through depression or any mental illness ever! -, I am talking generally - if you have never swum in the sea, you donāt know how it feels, e.g., and no matter how many people tell you how it feels like, you havenāt experienced it yourself).
Sorry for such a long start.Ā
I would like to tell you about things you (maybe) didnāt know about depressed people. Iāll use myself as the example, so the things I am saying, I might not be speaking for everyone, but for the most, of us I believe.Ā
1) We are very sensitive.
You know, being depressed doesnāt really mean you are crying every minute every day for the rest of your life - we also have good days, when we are quite happy and funny and having fun. And boom, then even one word, one silly word other people see as nothing else but a bunch of letters, can send us to an absolute Hell. Because behind most of the words, we might see some other meaning, meaning that is hidden to others.Ā
For example - someone tells me that they had awesome day with their sibling. Yes, I am happy for them, that they had great time and fun - but on the other hand, my head starts working, and it works like this:
First, there is some problem that I have in my mind - bad childhood, not having something, or on the other hand, there is something I have and I donāt want to, - there is something settled in my brain, and itās waiting to strike and hurt me.
Then, some of my trigger words or topics is said, and the littleĀ āsoldiersā, that are serving these problems and mental issues awake, they start feeding onto this word. And as they are feeding, they grow bigger and bigger and bigger and then, any word or sentece or topic, even if itās not any trigger, becomes one. Since then, the soldiers feed on every word that is being said, and then absolutely everything just makes us panic attack worse and worse and worse.Ā
It takes some time and comfort to be taken away, to defeat the soldier, but still, the problem is buried in my head, and itās waiting there to strike again any time.
E.g.:
Someone: I had great great time with my siblings!
Me: Awesome, Iām glad you enjoyed it! (I mean it honestly, Iām happy for them.)
My brain: Yeah, but you donāt have any siblings to share your time or happiness with. You are alone. And you will never have ones. Impossible.Ā
Sometimes, when Iām in a very good mood, even the trigger words are likeĀ āOkay, letās move on...,ā but if youāre already like half-broken, itās just a fuel for the panic attack.Ā
2) We are excusing a lot more.Ā
For most people, itās very annoying, and to be honest, I get it.
But that is also part of the problem.Ā
I may be apologizing for even small things, like falling asleep during a day and letting someone onĀ āSeenā (accidentally) or saying something I consider to be rude or wrong (but the other person doesnāt, itās just me) - and then I start apologizing. Becuase I feel like I somehow hurt or offended or something else the person and I wanna sayĀ āSorry, I didnāt mean it!ā - but mostly, because itās just in my brain, the other person doesnāt get why I am apologizing.
So I apologize few times, and they start to get angry (usually), so I start apologizing even more, because I donāt want to lose them because of being so annoying or so, and they get angrier and angrier, and so on.Ā
Itās kind of an equality: the more I apologize, the angrier they usually get, and the angrier they usually get, the more I apologize, and so on and on.Ā
Usually it ends them being pissedd off at me and just stopping the conversation for some time or completely, unfortunately.Ā
So please, if you have a friend with this problem - donāt yell at them for being annoying, just try to assure them that itās really okay and there is nothing to apologize for (which make take some time, but the truth is, yeah, we take a lot of time).
3) We might be jealous/sad because of our loved onesā inactivity.
We usually tend to have one or two really close ones, and if theyāre not spending time with us, we might get either jealous that theyāre spending time with someone else (not every time), or on the other hand sad, that theyāre spending time with someone else, that they donāt need us or like us anymore (not every time).
Itās not like we want to be pissed off at someone becuase of being jealous or sad because of someone that they are not paying attention to us at the moment, itās just something in our brain that switches the thinking and we start to be rude/panicking.Ā
We might take a lot of time, and a lot of assurance and everything, but on the other hand, if we truly love you, we will give you our love back thousand times. We are usually very loyal becuase we appreaciate our loved ones because there is not a lot of them, but we love them even more then.Ā
4) We might see some things differently than the others.
This time is at receiving what the other one is saying, we take it differently than they mean it, or the emotions get in as well.Ā
E.g.:
Expectation:Ā
Me: I love you (friendship, normal relationship, doesnāt matter)
Someone: Aw, I love you too.Ā
! Say it only if you really mean it - if not, just send an emoji or sayĀ āyouāre great friendā or something, but donāt lie to us and also donāt be too hard (I know itās difficult, sorry). !
Reality (sometimes):
Me: I love you (friendship, relationship, doesnāt matter)
Someone: I know *insert emoji here*
I mean, thereās nothing wrong about it, but some of us may get it like we are a sure thing for that person or it just feels weird or so (personal opinion).
Yeah, we may take it as a joke, it matters on the situation, but sometimes it just pops up in our head and our brain is working with that.Ā
5) We usually are self-destructive.
When in a bad state, we tend to be self-destructive. Cutting is not the only way how to hurt yourself - punching the wall, scratching our skin bloody, not sleeping or eating at all, etc.Ā
Mostly itās not like we really wanna physically hurt ourselves, I believe itās more like a way how to escape the mental pain we are going through at the moment. We hurt ourselves becuase the physical pain, even when itās horrible, is easier to bear and to heal than the mental one.Ā
We are hurting ourselves to not to be hurt that much by our brain and thoughts - thatās the way I see it, opinions might be different.Ā
6) We might be lying about our state.Ā
! Itās not like we would wanna lie to our friends, itās because of these reasons: !
- we donāt want to talk about it, it might be too personal or too harming and we just wanna forget itĀ
- we feel like we are annoying the other ones with our problems, that they have a life happily ever after, and we are ruining it, or ruining their morning or moment, so we keep it to ourselves, so they donāt have to worry about us or something (usually, the donāt in fact, itās just our feeling that we are annoying them)
- we are afraid to talk about it with our closest ones becuase we are afraid it would hurt or offend that person, that they could take it personally, and we donāt want to lose themĀ
etc.Ā
7) We tend to be indecisive.Ā
Most of the times, we just canāt decide. Or we are so devastated at the moment that we donāt care at all, or we donāt want to hurt/offend the other person, so we just agree to them. It depends on our mood, or at least for me, personally.
Good mood - quite decisive, even joking about being indecisive
Bad mood - indecisive/not caring/agreeing to the other personās opinionĀ
~
Thatās all for today I believe, thank you for reading all the way down here, it must have been exhausting, sorry, and I hope it will give you a new point of view.Ā
I hope it will help the people who have depressed person around them, to understand them better and maybe even change a bit some behaviour, to help them fight - thank you, we appreaciate being here for us so much!
I also hope that it will help the depressed people themselves - that you know that youāre not alone in this, and out there are people to help us fighting against our deepest fears and biggest demons.Ā
Always keep fighting. - Jared Padalecki

Please tell us about your punch out pokemon au!!
I APPRECIATE YOU ASKINGā¦ I wrote a post about it but I didnāt finish it so itās just been in my drafts haha but I have a lot more stuff to say cause Iāve been thinking on it more
anyways this got long cause I have a lot to say so itās under the cut!
now like the major question to be answered is how the whole thing works. like is this a Pokemon League?? is it still boxing?? is it a weird hybrid of both??
for sake of this I kinda think itās like >pokemon battle >then a match
like idk I feel like theyād be into doing both. Iām not sure though, if there would have to be travelling involved, cause how would you obtain a team (aside from a starter which youād get from Doc), unless maybe a challenge was youād be given an option of like
anyhow I think Little Macās starter is a Mienfoo or a Tyrogue. tbh I just in general like Mienfoo more but Tyrogue makes sense cause it can evolve into Hitmonchan which hasā¦ you guessed itā¦ fucking boxing gloves. he could have a Mienfoo later at some point.
OH YOU KNOW WHAT THEY COULD DO. if there wasnāt a travelling aspect (or even if there was), maybe after each fight you win, you can pick a (base) pokemon that your opponent had. not like, itās not theirs, but the same species if you feel me. Little Mac is not kidnapping peopleās pokemon. so like for example if you beat Piston Hondo and he had like, Mienshao, Samurott, and Dragonair, you could pick either a Mienfoo, Oshawott, or Dratini.
he wouldnāt have to use whatever he chose but yeah. he could probably still catch stuff but this is likeā¦ an incentive and maybe you only got the choice if you got a TKO or something. and these guys you know, sometimes they have some pretty rare or powerful pokes so it would be to his benefit. but you could choose.
and I think that the WVBA would be like a hybrid, sort of unofficial pokemon league. like if we were translating the universe to the Pokeverse, this would not be an official Pokemon League, like this would be an offshoot of the Unovan league. or. something. but like they still give out badges and shit (coincidentally there is the exact right amount of boxers to make a complete league) anf like if you became Champion itād be a big deal but it wouldnāt beĀ āofficialā as being a League Champ. I could imagine there being smaller offshoots of Leagues throughout the world, especially in a country as big as America/Unova, so itād be still considering pretty important but also
Little Mac deserves to just be champ, but I think if the boxing element still exists then itās like chill. imo the two (as a boxer/trainer) add up to make something really important, if that makes any sense.
oh, and evil teams.
the evil team is all the other Punch Out fighters who donāt appear and the boss is Gabby Jay (/s)
or you could just say that the bitterness of losing to Little Mac forced the boxers to come together and be dicks but idk. probably no villain if you ask me! or if there seriously is, Mr. Dream is the boss.
anyways enough about the baseline
probably something thatās just the Styleā¢ of the WVBA is that everyone uses seals and each boxer has their own unique seal. Glass Joe probably just has like the letter A during his first fight cause itās all he had, and Little Mac is like āwhat does the A stand for?ā and Joe is like āā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦itās the only seal decoration I haveā, but later has his actual name and then some sparkles to make up the French flagās colors, Mr. Sandman has tan sparkles (like sand, obviously) and letters to spell out DREAMLAND, Disco Kid has a bunch of music notes, etc etc
And tbh in my opinion, no one specializes in one type which is what makes them distinct from a typical/āofficialā Pokemon League, though they can have multiple of the same type to the point of it dominating their team (Don Flamenco, for example, might have a lot of Fire types or Aran Ryan might have a lot of Dark types).
but IF THEY DID specialize in types, Joe wouldnāt specialize/Water, Von Kaiser is Normal, Disco Kid is uhh, King Hippo is UHHH Ground maybe, Hondo is maybe Dragon, Bear Hugger is Grass, Great Tiger is UHHHH Psychic, Don FLamenco is Fire, Aran Ryan is Dark, Soda Popinski is Ice, Bald Bull isā¦ā¦.. Rock maybe, Super Macho Man is Fighting, and Mr Sandman is anyn type he damn well pleases
I donāt know. I made some mock teams for everyone and tbh they all vary, itās based on theme more than type. I couldnāt come up with full teams for everyone. itās really hard and I canāt be assed to do it but generally, this. idk when these teams would be but like, this generally the pokemon theyād use, whether itād be pre-evos or whatever depending on the time.
in Contender Joe has 5 Magikarp, one of which is shiny and his signature, and a Feebas, all level 15 during Contender. They all canāt do anything but Macās Pokemon is like level 5. so it takes a little to beat them and itās like (7 hours later) AND THE WINNER IS LITTLE MAC. Boxing Glass Joe is considerably easier. Title Defense I think he has like, Magikarp (he likes Magikarp), Gyarados, Milotic, Furfrou, Blaziken. or if my shitposts are true at all itās 6 level 100 Magikarp and he just stalls and all of them has Focus Sash. everyone hates him
Von Kaiserās team (td, I guess, a lot of his pokes are just evos so it doesnāt need to be split into two) is like Staraptor, Octillery, Gogoat, Diggersby, and Stoutland as his signature. I always pictured Von Kaiser, like, during the contender he lets out his last Pokemon which is his sig Herdier, and the dog isnāt super well trained so it runs off and VK freaks out and Mac has to go catch the dog. He comes back like thirty minutes l8er exhausted with this pleased lookin pup. The dog just immediately goes to sleep and Mac wins but then likeā¦ā¦. boy heās lost a lot of physical energy for the fight. also Von Kaiser and the dog have the same exact mustache.
Disco Kid is a bit tough to pick out but heās got likeā¦ Wigglytuff, Chatot, Bouffalant, Oricorio (Pom-Pom), Ludicolo, and maybe Primarina. Meloetta would be super fitting but itās a fucking Legendary but letās say he had it, itād be his sig for sure. idk which of these would be his sig otherwise, maybe Oricorio since it was like the first one I thought of for him. Not terribly remarkable because I canāt think of SHIT Iām sorry Iāve failed you Disco Kid
King Hippo has Toucannon, Passimian, Alolan Exeggutor, Loudred, Snorlax, and his sig is Hippowdon. Hippowdon is fucking terrifying. Itās like clear King Hippo and the Pokemon are having a conversation and it is horrific and Little Mac is alarmed. Hippowdon creates a sand pit in the ring that makes it hard for Macās pokes to move, and it eventually takes uprooting the hippo from its sandpile to knock it out. King Hippo is fucking rough too, its pretty much like fighting an upright Hippowdon. Mac wins by the normal means but also by King Hippo slipping on the sand and fucking wiping.
then comes Piston Hondo. He takes his Pokemons very seriously, Leagues originated there after all. He probably was a brief champ of Kanto or some shit, and it kind of shows where shit starts getting real or w/e. Heās got Oricorio (Sensu), Mienshao, Gallade, Dragonair, Ninetales, and Samurott as his sig. Heās got a hard-hitting style, but he also strikes me as the type to be a staller just to fuck with people. I figure that KOing a whole team isnāt always reasonable, so sometimes the best option is to stall, and at the end of the Trainer match they figure out who wins based on the number of fainted Pokes (and how much helath the other pokes have) but idk. Iām not sure his Pokemon are terribly good for stalling but you kno what I mean.
Bear Huggerās team is Swanna, Pachirisu, Bibarel, Stantler and Beartic as his sig. Little Mac watched him physically fight the Beartic once it was terrifying. The Pachirisu helps BH fight in td. I think his Pachirisu is reminiscent of that Pachirisu that was super badass in that pokemon tourney. Se Jun Parkās Pachirisu. yeah that one. so itās likeĀ āoh okā OH GOD NOā because it is Powerfulā¢ so like overall I feel like Bear Huggerās style is extremely unpredictable, he always goes against the grain and does stuff unexpected to catch you off guard.
Great Tiger specializes inā¦ā¦.. yes, you guessed it: cat Pokemon. Heās got Persian, Purugly, Liepard, Luxray, Incineroar as his sig, andā¦ Medicham. because why not. idk how many of these fucks can learn Double Team but yep thatās like 90% of his strategy is just using Double Team 500 times and then fucking you up cause you canāt hit them. regardless you kno heās cheatin so they ALL know it. his style is also, Double Team-ing Medicham and then spamming Focus Punch. Better stock up on tms for moves that always hit!
Don Flamenco was probably one of the easiest to make a team for. Heās def got Tauros, Oricorio (Baile), Pyroar, Talonflame, and Roserade as his sig. Not sure about the 6th slot. Oh maybe Luvdisc. Itās useless but maybe Carmen likes Luvdisc so he uses one in honor of her. Thatās so adorable I feel good just thinking about it! dnsjfndjk what if his team got Super Edgyā¢ for TD. Gothitelle, Pangoro, Charizard X, Bisharp, Absol, shiny Roserade lol. Heās one of the only people who violently changes his team cause heās gotta show that heās not like the other boxers!!11!!!!
Aran Ryan is a cheatsy motherfucker. this must be established first and foremost. His Pokemon, in and of themselves, are not cheatsy. But he probably cheats like hell during. His team is Sawsbuck, Crobat, Muk, Midnight Lycanroc, Gengar, and his sig is Zoroark. Zoroark, of course, transforms into other Pokemon. Probably what he does is put Muk or Crobat in the last slot so Zoro will transform into one of those. Thereās a likelihood Mac will switch to a Psychic pokemon to fight the Poison, but JOKES ON YOU MAC!!! ITāS DARK TYPE AND IMMUNE TO PSYCHIC!!! this is not a cheatsy strategy tho. but he probably teaches his Pokemon to do dirty tricks and like, try to legitimately injure the other pokes. itās total bs. why wonāt anyone stop this mean fuck (because itās fun). i also imagine he might try and have the Zoroark pretend itās him for the first bit of a match for NO reason other than because itās hilarious
So for Soda Popinski weāve got Arcanine, Midday Lycanroc, Stantler, Mamoswine, Mandibuzz, and Ursaring as his sig. Not super set on that but yeah. His strat is just Hyper Potions, Hyper Potions, Hyper Potions! Mamoswine also has lots of hp, and I wanted to give him more pokes with huge amounts of hp but they just werenāt fitting. but wouldnāt it be cute if he had a Blissey or something? but he just heals relentlessly and it is infuriating. JUST LET THEM FAINT!! Youāve got to go with hard-hitting moves and stop him from healing!
Bald Bullās got Feraligatr, Dusk Lycanroc, Kabutops, Gyarados, Hydreigon, and Tauros as his sig (of course!). Generally lots of strong, vicious Pokemon! His only strategy is hard-hitting physical damage. If youāve got a physical wall then youāre in business! But still youāve got to be careful. This dude aināt fuckin around and his Pokemon are strong. He probably also uses Bide and Rage a lot, those are quite useful for his set up.
For Super Macho Man I bet his theme is Pokemon that are considered status symbols. But I donāt really know a lot of Pokemon like that off the top of my head! So maybe just in general, Pokemon that arenāt easy to obtain! He def has Alolan Persian (this is just a status symbol Poke), Milotic, Volcarona, Machamp (his signature), Porygon-Z, Dragonite. stuff like that. But his Pokemon are still decent, but they are his because theyāre rare and they made him feel special! you canāt afford these pokes! get fucked! Heās a very flashy style of battler, focusing more on how cool moves look, but heās still a huge threat! donāt underestimate him! (I feel like Iām starting to sound like Doc Louis with these tips haha)
Mr Sandman is almost a bit tough to pick Pokemon out for. He needs tough guys but also some Pokemon that heād like to attach to his whole sleep/dream theme! He def has Hypno, just cause he likes Hypno!! But then heās got Pokemon like Slaking, Garchomp, Lucario, maybe Spiritomb, and Scizor. all of the pokemon that can mega evolve have a mega stone, and depending on which is the most beneficial heāll use that one, but he often goes to mega Garchomp. he relies on status conditions and hard-hitting moves and Pokemon.
whew!! and once Mac beats them all, heās the Champ! idk what his team would be, I never really though about it aside from likeā¦ Hitmonchan (maybe), Mienshao (maybe). but yeah! this is generally kinda what I was thinking. I hope this all makes sense, I ramble a lot and sometimes Iām not super clear! thanks for asking!!!!

1 Kings 11:1-12:19, Acts 9:1-25, Psalms 131:1-3, Proverbs 17:4-5
Today is the 13th day of June. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is pleasure, always, it'sā¦actually it isā¦itās a pleasure and a joy to be here with you today and read God's word out loud and come around the global campfire together in community and enjoy fellowship and know that weāre not in this alone. Thatās a joy and a pleasure. So, we move toward the back part of the week now, we remember that we reached a point that we were calling the apex, sort of the moment in ancient Israel under King Solomon's rule where ancient Israel reached its finest hour and where people from all over the world, dignitaries, royals from all over the world were coming to see what was going on, where ancient Israel was in its finest hour and shining brightly. And, so, the story has to continue, and we will continue with that story today. Weāre reading from the English Standard Version this week. First Kings chapter 11 verse 1 through 12 verse 19.
Commentary:
Okay. So, pretty big day actually, in terms of transition, here in the Scriptures in both Old and New Testaments. The things that happened today, we read through their stories and we may have even heard these stories before, but the repercussions of the things that happened today in the Old and the New Testament change the story profoundly. So, in the Old Testament in the book of first Kings, what has happened here is that King Solomon has brought the people to their pinnacle to a wonderful place of peace and prosperity for sure, but they began to slide down the other side. And, so, by the time we finished our reading today there isn't an ancient Israel as we have known it. So, Rehoboam has had a facedown with Jeroboam, Rehoboam being the son of King Solomon and the rightful heir to the throne. Because of his promise that he's actually going to make life more difficult for his people, for his subjects, 10 of the tribes abandon Rehoboam and make Jeroboam their leader, their king. The house of David is no longer king of Israel. That is over. These 10 tribes in the North who are following Jeroboam and they will be known as the tribes of Israel. But there are 10 of them. Rehoboam will only be in charge of the holy city of Jerusalem and the tribe of Judah. And, so, what we have here now is the disintegration of ancient Israel as we have known it, right? The sons of Jacob, whose name was turned Israel, his children, the children of Israel who all grew up to be their own tribes, theyāre not in unity anymore, they have divided and we now, from this point forward, until they all disappear, have the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah. Kind of a big deal. Here in the United States we had a Civil War. It's part of our national history. It was a long, long time ago - the North versus the South. The repercussions of that, the reverberations of that, they can still be found. That's kind of what we have shaping up here. We have the northern and the southern kingdoms now and they have two different kings. So, where is this story gonna take us. And that willā¦that will reveal itself, day by day, step-by-step as we continue to journey forward.
Then, in the book of Acts, there's been this Pharisee, a radical Pharisee named Saul, who has absolutely been on a rampage trying to stamp out what has become known as the Way. And this is what the faith in Jesus was originally called. The term Christian, at this point in the book of Acts, the term Christian hadnāt been coinedā¦no one had been called a Christian, no one was a Christian yet because that term hadn't been invented yet, but this wasā¦the teachings of Jesus were collectively being called the Way and, of course, the name of Jesus was being proclaimed and all of those in authority at the top were trying to stamp that out. Saul, being a radical Pharisee and just truly trying to live as righteous as he could, really felt like he was doing God's will by trying to eradicate the Way. And, so, you know, he caused mayhem in Jerusalem and heās got a letter and heās on his way to Damascus to kinda do the same thing when he encounters Jesus on the road to Damascus and we know the story. It's pretty famous. It's just important to realize that this changes everything. Saul, this radical Pharisee who will be renamed Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ will write to two thirds of the new Testament. So, his conversion experience radically alters the story all together that we are in. Jesus has come for Paul and as we will see throughout most of the rest of the year, we will begin to realize the implications of that meeting and that encounter.
Prayer:
Father we thank You for Your word. And as we just take a moment to point out and pay attention to how radically the story has shifted in both Old and New Testaments today that You would also shift our hearts to receive and understand and interpret and apply where weāre going in the stories and in this year. We thank You for Your faithfulness to us. We thank You for the way that Your wordā¦it just touches everything about us. It just doesn't do it all in one day. As we invest into the rhythm of our lives and allow Your word to be involved in our lives over the course of a year everything hasā¦everything has been touched and we've been given choices. And some of those choices are good ones and some of those choices we make incorrectly but we are can continually being refined because Your word continually brings up things that we can't hide or run away from. And, so, as we begin to turn the page and move into some new territory in the stories that weāve been following since the beginning of the year, we invite Your Holy Spirit to lead us forward into all truth and we yray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi DAB family, its Asia in Munich. I have a praise report. You know I posted a message on the DAB Friends that we were trying to come to America and that, unfortunately, things with my brotherās house fell through. Well God showed up and showed out and we are flying today, Monday, the 10th of June to DC where weāll spend a couple of days and then weāre gonna fly on toā¦fly or drive on to family in Georgia. And God has answered our prayers in ways that we couldnāt even have begun to imagine. And this could only happen because of God and because of all your prayers. So, thank you everyone. Appreciate your continued prayers for safe journey to and from and that God will just show me ways that I can reach people. Iām gonna be wearing my DAB bracelet. And I just want to say as well to Brian and Jill and the entire DAB family, everyone behind the scenes, thank you so much for this believing family of God. I ask that we all continue, that while we believe, that God will strengthen our unbelief. I want to especially spay, Tony, I am praying for you for Godās favor that everything will go fine and be fine with your eyes, claiming your healing in Jesusā name as well as the two Annaās that called in. Anna your prayer for your husband, Anna, I did that. I did that for five long years and this community prayed with me and I met my husband and I know that the power of prayer is just an amazing thing. Also Chandra in Maryland, I am praying for you sweetheart, that your healing and just that you will have peace. And also, for his little Sherrie in Canada, praying for you as well. Candace in Oregon, you too, your healing with your hip and the entire DAB family. Just, letās continue to keep our eyes focused on the Lord, focused on His Word. The DAB is one thing but finding a church home is so important and can be another. I love you DAB family. Cheers. Asian Munich.
Hi everybody, itās Margo from Australia and guess where I am? Iām in Liberia finally. So, again, this is kind of a test call to see how clear I can come through on the phone line. I did have some trouble in Uganda and thank you to my mom for going in for me. So, just thought I would check in and say hello. Iām still listening every day and praying for you. It is really good to be here. We are __ getting used to the fact that we donāt live in Australia anymore and just adjusting our lives to this new thing we are doing. Liberia is great so far. I think there are gonna be some really, really good things and some really, really hard things here. So, pleaseā¦
Hello everybody, welcome fromā¦welcome from a very wet and squishy Oklahoma City. Hey, God is good, isnāt He? Isnāt He awesome? I mean, man, He is awesome. So, I stepped out kind of in faith. A couple of trips that were extremely important to me that I made a promise that I would not miss for any reason whatsoever in this whole entire world thing. Okay? It wasnāt like I didnāt have the money but, you, know itās extra, right? And, so, my husband isā¦weāre walking around Home Depot and heās asking me, you know, āhow much does the trip?ā Okay? āHow much have you spent so far, and Iāll help you.ā And Iām like, ādonāt worry about itā. Anf heās like, āno, how much was it?ā And I was like, āwellā¦it wasā¦it was this amount of money.ā And where adding it all up. Iām on the calculator - tick tick tick tick tick tick tick. And then, as soon as I told him, it was like five minutes laterā¦weāve been waiting for our tax return guy to call. Weāve had some businessā¦weāve been doing business and the things just took a little longer to gather than normal. And I kid you not. It was likeā¦and I told my husbandā¦I told him, āyou know what? The Lord has really led me that I need to do these two things.ā And as soon as I said that the phone rang from the tax guy and I kid you not guys, what we got back was 10 times the amount of which I had spent. And I would have never dreamed that we wouldāve gotten that much money back from the tax guy. And I was like, āGod, Youāre something. Youāre scaring me.ā But it was awesome, right? Good day to you Daily Audio Bible friends. This is Pamela from Huntington New York. Iāve not called in in a while, however Iām still listening, still praying, still trusting, still believing. I was just listening to Rob Whitfield from Ontario Canada with regards to his son Jamie and my heart just went out to him. I have a son around his age and weāve been through a lot of cancer diagnosis with very close friends. So, I just wanted you to know that Iām praying for you, lifting you and your family up. Iām just very distraught about what has happened in your family and the cancer returning with your son Jamie. So, I just wanted you to know that Iāve spent a lot of time interceding and Iām gonna put him on my personal prayer list, you and your family and my daughter and I and my husband will be praying for you. And I just want to lift him up now. Father, in Jesusā name we lift up Rob and his family and particularly his son Jamie. We ask You oh God to touch and heal his body. Thereās nothing too hard for You. Youāre the God of all flesh, You made us, You know how our bodies operate. God, we speak to the cancer. We curse it, we sent it back from which it came. We thank You Father because Youāre our healer. Oh God You were wounded for our transgressions. You were bruised for our healing. The __ of our peace was upon You and with Your stripes we are healed. We speak healing to him nowā¦
