Ok does anyone have any theories on what Beelzebub possible angel name could be ??

I was writing for one of my fics and realized that in all my time scouring for good omens theories that i really haven’t seen much on this ??

If anyone’s curious about the fic I’ve included it below!! I’m updating as I write it!! It’s gonna be long an convoluted but it’s a story that I’m dedicated to telling because it’s been bouncing around in my brain for a while now! It’s posted out of order bc I had to reorder to fit in season 2 lore and I’m trying to add the full timeline (book, script book, radio drama, tv show and possibly the musical when that comes out)

𓁞 Intro to Egyptian Astrology 𓁛

👁 What are the Egyptian Decans?

   The static zodiac of the Egyptians was formed by the conjunct of the 12 Houses, where the Sun entered according to the passing of the year Sothis*. Those signs are the 12 we know today, but together with them, the old ones used to put in the head the Deities whose influence covered each month of the year. The months were divided in three equal parts of ten days, and those were the Decans — those represent about ten degrees in Space and concomitantly 10 days in our Earth time. 

   So, in each month there are three Decans, and those reveal the Stars that represent the Guardian Deities. To understand the Egyptian decans, and implement them in any astrological reading, is to know a new depth of the intelectual, emotional and conceptual phenomena of a person.

*The Sothic cycle is a period of 1,461 Egyptian civil years of 365 days each or 1,460 Julian years averaging 365¼ days each. 

👁 The Egyptian Decans and their Guardian Deities I

   In total, there are 36 Guardian Deities, those you’ll see, also appear in the Kabbalah — 18 of them have regency over matters that reside above the Earth, and the other 18 have regency of matters that happen on Earth

   The Sun, Moon, Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury occupy the space of divine hierarchy, and are called the Interpreter Deities. Those are the ones whose regular movement tended to announce progress and prosperity, though Saturn had a special veneration for it. 

👁 The Egyptian Decans and their Guardian Deities II

   As any Astrological aspect, the *Guardian Deities, or Genies, of each sign adhere to a specific characteristic that can be seen in those born under that particular decan — uniting it with other aspects, a deeper and more meaningful understanding can be reached.   

  *The names of the deities are in brazilian portuguese, as that is my mother language. 

● Aries 

Mars → Chontaré ● Those that have this deity in their head, have a multitude of interests in various areas of life, and express activity in those — either becoming a jack of all trades or feeling frustrated with the lack of One path. .

Crowley =? Lucifer =! Satan

It seems a lot of folks took this post to mean that Crowley is not Lucifer or even that Lucifer is Satan. I don't think Neil is doing either in this case. He is a writer, and he is answering with the information he wants you to have, which is not necesarily (1) the answer to your question, or (2) the whole truth. I'm not saying he's lying. He's avoiding. I'm not saying Crowley was Lucifer. I'm saying Neil's not saying he's not. I break it down below:

The “is” is doing a lot of work here. It’s present tense. Neil doesn’t say Lucifer never existed in this universe. 

 In this answer, Neil is telling us that Satan is not Lucifer, because Satan does exist in this universe. 

Neil doesn’t actually answer this question, instead he says, “That was the angel Lucifer.” 

Think about where you’re putting the emphasis in your mind? “That was the angel, Lucifer” or “That was the angel, Lucifer.” Does it change the meaning for you? 

I think, like many have claimed, that this could easily be interpreted as Crowley repeating what angels would have said/thought, “it’s Lucifer and the guys” about himself.

Then, Neil specifically says, “he [Lucifer] doesn’t exist any more.” 

In S2E2, Crowley says, “the angel you knew is not me.” He doesn’t exist anymore. (Because where else would he be?) Satan is the one that’s left. Neil isn’t implying that they are the same. He could be saying, these were two entities; only one remains. One kept his identity (or it developed after The Fall), and one did not. 

To me, this is even clearer. Neil, again, doesn’t answer the question directly. 

“Does that mean that once Lucifer fell he ceased to exist as Lucifer” 

Neil: “As far as Crowley is concerned, the Angel that he was no longer exists.”

Crowley: “The angel you knew is not me.”
