I was looking at this and I wonder where her scars came from. She’s isn’t one of the good guys but doesn’t stop her from looking so good 😍
I really want to know what everyone’s story was for acting the way they do. Is money that worth it? I mean like, I love money too but damn… I don’t love money THAT much. Geez guys.
I was looking at afop stuff and I noticed something. Aha’ri didn’t have a scar when she was younger but she does the last time we see her(granted the scar is healed).
Anyway, I wonder what happened 🤔 I bet Harding or Mercer had something to do with it
So I started a new game and finished the part where we go through Alma’s memories.
And in the last one when Harding hands Aha’ri to her you know what that bitch said?
“Take this.”
This. Not “her”, just this, as if she were handing Alma any other tool or object, which is all they saw the children as.
It’s so disturbing and wrong to realize the Na’vi weren’t even people, living breathing creatures to the RDA; just things that they could use for their own gain.
Alma reflects on what she has done. What she had been a part of in TAP, what she had done to… get the school going. The truth had come out into the open and everyone knows of what she had been a part of.
'Good' Alma, the Avatar was dead. Killed.
She was the 'other' Alma, that they despised.
Where does she stand now in the Resistance when no one wants her around?
Chapter 11 snippet
“The new avatars,” Alma started, her voice stern, “how many?”
Harding continued to smirk still. “None of your concern.”
“Does Mercer have an avatar like this new squad?”
At that, Harding seemed to laugh, wincing a little at the pain the motion brought her. “Hell no. He couldn’t pass the tests required, mental or physical.” She shook her head. “He’s a psycho.”
Alma rose slowly to her feet, bringing her arm to her chest to avoid leaning on it. She brushed the grass from her clothes as she fixed her former colleague with a long look. “I look forward to meeting your recom, Colonel Harding.”
She didn’t dare look at So’lek as she turned and headed towards the exit.
“No you won’t,” Harding called after her almost gleefully. “You’re a dead woman, Cortez!” Alma didn’t stop at her shout, her voice meant to sound loud now like a threat. “You’re a dead woman walking, Cortez!!”
“I know…” Alma whispered to herself, exhausted already still.
Summary: Ah’so was captured by the TAP along with a few other children of her clan. They were raised like humans, at the process forgetting their na’vi heritage. Tho the na’vi children may have forgotten a lot about there clan hey still hold the few things they have dear to them, like the sounds of there clans songs, little things that belonged to another family member or to them. Aha’ri and her younger sibling had there mothers songcord, Ah’so had a tiny carved 'angtsìk made by her mother. Over the years Ah’so dreads and fears the place they live in and nightmares of the day they got taken and about her mother.
But she and the other children have each other to look out for. Ah’so had a strong bond with Nor, he would comfort her and she would comfort him, the two wouldn’t dare to let anything happens to the other. Eight years went by now and TAP still trains them.
Until one day the na’vi clans come together after an avatar named Jake Sully turns on the RDA. During the chaos John Mercer orders the na’vi children to be killed but their teacher, Alma Cortez, saves them and puts them in sleeping pods where they stay for nearly 16 years. Until they wake up, and the humans have returned to Pandora, now they must fight.
Ah’so and her friends must fight for the safety of there home they hardly know but will reconnect. While her friendship with Nor develops into something new and takes a very big turn.
Will it be for better or for worse?
A/n: Images not not mine, the images for Ah’so are to give you ideas on what she looks like, cause that’s what a face claim does, this is Oc x canon, I just thought this can be good, chapters will be late when publishing, there will be spoilers, only a few chapters will come out until I play the game
Include: Fluff, Angst, Mentions of death, Comfort, Some chapters will not be pretty
After I finished a major book purge and shelf reorganization, I treated myself to a small book haul and really liked how these books looked grouped together.
I loved Alison Croggon’s Pellinor series, so I’m looking forward to The Threads of Magic. Birds is a birthday present for a friend. And, The Spinner of Dreams was a total cover buy, but the protagonist is befriended by a bespectacled cat and a fox, which sounds like something I’d enjoy, so we’ll see how it goes.
