this was originally created before I watched Good Omens and now that I've watched it I see the similarities so loosely inspired by Good Omens ig????????

Andrew is an angel

Neil is a demon

they meet while trying to influence people

and Neil annoys the fuck out of him

infuriates him really

he hates him

and he thinks he will never have to see him again once that assignment is over and done with

except he keeps. running. into him.

and he hates him. even if he thinks that he's attractive. that doesn't mean anything nope nothing at all

but as they end up in the same area more and more they start to get closer

and oftentimes pass the time trading truths

and then eventually kissing

But Andrew hates him he just likes his lips

and then he notices feathers

he tries to play it off, he's not losing feathers definitely not

no aaron im completely fine ive just been picking at my feathers too much promise-

but they keep falling out

more and more and more

clumps of feathers coming off in his hands

and then he starts to panic

because he can't think of any reason he would be falling

except for Neil

but no

he hates Neil

it cant be

he hates him he hates him so much

why why is this happening to him

and his panic only increases it

and then he's falling

He's falling and it hurts

The sun was already gone behind the hills when the group of Death Eaters and the Dark Lord entered with Hagrid amongst them. He was carrying something in his arms.

Draco took a step forward, squinting as everyone around him gasped. What was Hagrid carrying that made the people react like that?

But then came the dreaded words. Four words that made Draco’s world fall apart.

Hagrid was carrying Harry’s body, limp and lifeless. He had sacrificed himself. That bastard had actually done it!

Their saviour, his angel, who was supposed to save them, him, from the Dark Lord had actually sacrificed himself… The selfless git.

A single tear rolled down Draco’s dirt-streaked face. He would never be able to hold him anymore. He would never be able to feel the warmth of his body against his own or the softness of his lips.

Though when the Dark Lord spoke, Draco’s hand tightened around his wand, his head held high. He wouldn’t go down without a fight. It was the least he could do. He would end this if he needed to.

He would end this forever.

All that I can think about while listening to it is how the angels in supernatural were falling in the end of season eight because it fits so perfectly and I'm very much in love with this song

Can we go back to this for a sec? To Aziraphale having to explain the concept of being in love to the other angels? Because I cannot imagine what a trip it has to be, falling in love with someone when that is literally not something you are supposed to be able to do. When it is something you barely understand. When the object of whatever this is isn't supposed to be able to feel this way either, except as time goes on you start to realize it's happening to him too. And neither of you can actually talk to each other about it.

Idk i think some people miss the point of someone who's around my age lamenting that they've never dated or done anything or been in love, but really want to be. I saw someone who was 24 ask whether there was still hope for them (which I know is kinda dramatic), and the person who responded was like "do you have friends and family who love you and whom you love? Have you ever read a good book or eaten fruit or sat in the sunlight. Love is everyhwere 🥺❤️🥺❤️" and like yeah yeah I get that little love and platonic love is just as important as romantic and sexual love but really none of that changes the fact that that person and many others like them are desiring a specific kind of love under very specific circumstances and conditions. Loving your parents isn't the same as loving a significant other lol. And idk it feels patronizing or infantilizing I think, to see someone who's never been in a relationship and would like to experience that kind of bond with someone only to tell them "no actually you should love your friends and family and eat some good food ❤️" idk idk I understand the intentions but. People desire to be desired in specific ways. People want to feel desired sexually and Romantically and to know that they're wanted in those capacities. Yes it's not the only metric by which to measure one's value, but we're not being unrealistic or naive by desiring this. Yes all the other stuff is important but you would not tell someone who doesn't have friends not to worry about platonic love bc maybe they have an SO already and also the sun is shining and their parents love them and people are being kind for no reason. it's starting to get annoying
