Danny HCs (Part 1/?)

For context I base him heavily off AOD episode 0! I really like how he's characterized--He's such a deep, complex character with so many issues that he's struggling with and God. I just love him. He's not a pedophile, he's not a "creepy weirdo character", he's just a depressed, insecure man who doesn't know what to do when faced with love!!

Danny is severely uncomfortable with compliments and comments on his appearance. Even if he may not show it outright, if you make any comment about his looks--be it positive, negative, or neutral, he becomes uncomfortable.

Again, it doesn't matter what's said to him; it can be something as simple as "your hair looks nice today!" And he'd freeze, plaster on a fake smile, and then change the subject.

And dear GOD never compliment him. He completely shuts down, and not in the cute, flustered way: he starts sweating, goes pale, and tries to talk about something else, but if he can't, he just goes nonverbal.

The reason for this, of course, is because he doesn't believe it. What do you mean he's pretty? He looks nice? Are you kidding? He thinks he's a monster. He's not a human. Compliments, comments, everything, they're fake. They're lies. Why are you lying to him? Are you trying to make fun of him? He hates it. He feels horrible. He doesn't want to be here anymore.

He is SUCH a relatable character I adore him and I have SO many HCs for this silly little man

Random Zack Foster Headcanons im not sure i posted yet:

He is a HEAVY sleeper. Noise isnt going to be enough to wake him up. One has to tap/shake him in order for him to stir. (Might also depend on the dream hes having)

He might not be healthy, but hes a pretty silent sleeper. Rarely ever snores.

It has been shown he sleeps on his side but also sleeps while lying against a wall with his scythe over his shoulders. I wouldnt be suprirsed if he was one of those people who could sleep in any place or position. Kinda like a cat.

Angel Dust: "Sickening. If you gays keep this up, I'm gonna puke."

Vaggie: "What happened to your non-existent gag reflex?"

Angel Dust: "Your relationship's a bit too long-term even for it, toots. You need to put a ring on it, so's you two can start hatin' each other like a normal fuckin' couple."

Vaggie: (panicking) (dying) "VAYA! Shh- shhh!!!!

Angel Dust: "Oh fuck-"

Charlie: (still muffled) "Did he just say put a WING on it??

Vaggie: "Uh..."

Angel Dust: "Sure did, Charlie horse."

Charlie: (still under vaggie's wing) "She's already doing that though?"

I haven't even touched the seeing mobs silhouettes from a distance and invincibility in fights.

What if the Ender King is tapping into Philza's dormant Angel of Death abilities and this was him in his prime?

When he earned his mantle flooding battlefields with crimson rain as his partner the Blood God fought below. Of feathers black as night tacky with the essence of the fallen screaming through the skies as the Angel lined up another shot with his polished bow while his brother in arms sliced his steel clean through another enemy.

We do not know the extent of the Ender King's influence, but we knows small amounts. That which lead back to Phil becoming his ideal vessel to encourage bit by bit until the crow is unrecognisable to even those who love him so consumed with the greed dangerous enough to slay a god.

He craves large amount of power to protect his treasures.

Loot which becomes old news in pursuit of the newer, shinier object that caught his fancy.

He does not like dragons.

He's gained more of a hold since they were forced away from Rose's Sanctuary.

That’s a lie, he always wanted to, just never did.

Emperor’s Children: Would do it, no orders/questions asked. Even if he was influenced by this “pollen thing.” Purple Space Man does/will do it in public. He will pat you on the head anytime he gets! You’re a pretty little thing, how could he not?

Iron Warriors: Stubborn, stubborn Space Man. He doesn’t know why he feels like he should just set you in his lap and pat the hell(Chaos?) out of you, but guess what? He does it anyway. You are snatched the moment you round him to see what he’s working on. His hands threading and patting your head while you sit there confused.

White Scars: From this speedster, you get the fastest Tapotement of your life. You won’t even know what he just did to you until you feel yourself become like jello. (No, he didn’t kill you. He just put you to sleep really quick. It had his hearts working extra time. All he wanted was to pat you!)

Space Wolves: You, pat the wolf? You get a pat back. It ends up in a pat battle, but it actually ends up with you winning. All yours praises, scritchs and pats to him are incredibly powerful against this weakening wolf. Please, continue your work.

Imperial Fists: After building/fortifying he has gotten very needy to return to you and just snuggle in bed, pat your head and drag his fingers down your back. Cooing sleepily above you. Feeling how different your skin is to compared to stone/metal he works with. It reduces his stressors. Not that he would admit it.

Night Lords: Why does he want to just drag his talons through your hair you so much? Why is he feeling this sudden urge to “pat” you like you did to him one time? He try’s this “patting” to you and quickly finds out that his likes the new hobby. He gets you at the worst times.

Blood Angels: He comes to you immediately to sedate this sudden urge. Feeling that effect of that “pollen” running around through his systems. He’ll have you sat in front of him with his legs trapped around you, close to him while he pats your head. Cooing softly into your ear.

Iron Hands: Grumpy Space Man. He tried to avoid these sudden urge to come to you and be… affectionate with you, but it simply got more stronger the more he prolongs the inevitable. So, once he sees you and snatches you up for a patting session. Do not say anything.

World Eaters: If angy spicy man wants to pat? He gets his pats. There is no escaping it. Space Man will pursue to pat you. He can’t help it! You calm him down!

Ultramarines: Classic, classic blueberry. He’ll have you wrapped around his torso (as much as you could, lol) and chuff at the top of your head. His hands dragging letters into your back. Probably reciting the codex.

Death Guard: His pats are slow and escape resistant. If you’re in his arms getting patted chuffed, and cooed at? Congratulations, you’ve earned your self a personal masseurs, that you are not escaping from for at least 12 hours.

Thousand Sons: He’ll pretend that he is not feeling such… affections for you. Avoiding you until the feeling begins to strengthen then he knows that is the only way to resolve the problem is to go ahead a pat you… and it ended up being comfortable. He plans to do it again soon.

Son of Horus: This Space Man will growl and purr while patting you down. What? You trying to leave while he’s patting you? Growl. You’re accepting his affections? Purr and growl.

Word Bearers: You’ll find yourself laying on top of him for this one. Dozing off on him as he slowly pats you. His whispered words and coos lulling you to sleep. Let him worship you darling.

Salamanders: To be stuck in a patting session with a Salamander is like being trapped in the flames of a furnace. You’ll be like a hand cooked kebab once he believes you got enough affection from him. It was a very pleasing experience though!

Raven Guard: Him patting you was uncommon, but also rare. Usually he’s too busy trying to find you shiny things until he got hit with a wave to adore you. He’ll come back to pat you and coo at you while keeping you close to his chest like a mother hen.

Alpha Legion: Patting sessions were already in progress. It was unknown pay back for the glitter you got him with the other day. So don’t be surprised if you find yourself covered in layers with glitter after the session. He definitely got sent to sleep outside that night.

Yandere!Angel who was initially given the job of being the guardian angel of your neighbor and closest friend, Elizabeth Yandere!Angel who fell in love with you every time you came over to spend time with Elizabeth Yandere!Angel who may or may not have skipped on some duties and decided to watch you sleep all the time occasionally Yandere!Angel who cannot be seen unless so desired will use his ability to his advantage and will whisper in your ear and touch you lightly. You tend to brush it off Yandere!Angel who completely abandoned his duties and spent all of his time watching over you and becoming your self-proclaimed guardian angel, which does not sit well with the other angels Yandere!Angel who was forced by the higherups to return to his proper human and care for Elizabeth, not her friend. headcanon:

everyone in Hell gets abilities based on their death. but also, pain. lotta pain.

-Angel died from an overdose, so he has a tolerance for cocaine that’s scarily high. like- it takes twice the normal amount. he gets nosebleeds and stomachaches often, though, and gets motion-sick easily. he does NOT have a good sleep schedule, he just can’t.

-Alastor died from a gunshot to the head, and was mauled by hunting dogs. so his neck can contort and lengthen and stuff, so he can dodge stuff easier. VERY quick reflexes, too, he can LITERALLY dodge a bullet. BUT the migraines are torturous, especially if there’s any dogs around.

-Niffty, in my AU, died in a fire. she’s fire-resistant now, but has breathing problems from the smoke, and her eye gets really dry or watery sometimes.

-Husk died in his 70s, and according to Google, the leading cause of death for people his age is heart diseases and cancers, though the alcohol definitely didn’t help either, so maybe it was a combination of both. he doesnt usually get sick easily, almost immune… except for the aftereffects of cancer. he’s always fatigued, can barely taste shit anymore, reduced lung capacity, and his eyes are Not Good.

-in my AU, Sir Pentious was strangled by an abusive doctor at an asylum where he was wrongfully committed. he can hold his breath for a long time, but his throat gets sore easily, and sometimes has breathing problems.

I've been thinking of a headcanon/au thing for several days now and it is quite literally the reason I'm on tumblr again. I mean, I had thought of it before but didn't think much of it, and now it's all I've been thinking about.

Heavily inspired by a fic I read, some fanart I saw, and general tendencies/what ifs.

Immortals/Undying duo aka Philza and Foolish

/rp

-Foolish was the first person to call/consider Phil his 'dad' or a father figure

-Phil finding Foolish as a young totem and, I mean, Phil's pretty recently immortal, somewhere between a few decades and a few hundred years.

-Foolish hasn't even formed with another living creature yet or has only hardly started.

-Phil is more rough around the edges than nowadays, but still takes Foolish under his wing.

-Foolish knows he's only meant to be kept as a sacrifice of sorts to his parents, and since his parents are no longer around, that must be Phil, right?

-Maybe Phil keeps him at a distance, not wanting to start caring for the living thing that's supposed to keep him alive should anything happen

-Or maybe Foolish wiggles his way into Phil's heart, but in an attempt to keep Foolish far, he tries insulting him, calling him 'Foolish', but Foolish thinks it's a name like Phil has and happily takes it

-Maybe neither of them thought Foolish would be around this long, but then Phil starts to open up, more and more, and he doesn't want to sacrifice Foolish anymore for selfish reasons

-Maybe Foolish sees this as no longer being useful to Phil, although, surely not, though, right? They were getting along, so how come he isn't of use anymore?

-Maybe Foolish tries to go back to before he was useless, trying to convince Phil that he's useful again by bringing back the sacrificial behavior, but it only upsets Phil. He can't upset Phil, though. He'll have to find a way to manage being useful again while also keeping Phil happy.

-Maybe Phil explains how other species are treated, convincing and teaching Foolish to be more selfish.

-Maybe one day, after they were finally understanding each other, Foolish calls Phil 'dad'', but Phil freaks out, not wanting to be a father yet

-Maybe Foolish tries explaining that they can be like other creatures in society, just like Phil taught him, but he gets turned down. Phil doesn't want a family. Not yet. But a family's all Foolish has wanted since he learned about them, from his dad.

-Maybe Phil denies Foolish as his family, trying to ease it on him, but Foolish is still young by many standards. He doesn't understand. He gets upset and leaves, not wanting to stay with someone who doesn't even see him as important.

-Maybe this is what causes him to turn into a totem of death, his shark part growing as he let's out his emotions on hundreds of innocents.

-Maybe one day, The Angel of Death arrives at a town recently destroyed, only to be told of a Totem of Death. Surely it's not who he thinks it is, I mean, he's a Totem of Undying, of Life. Then again, the totem population doesn't seem very high. When was the last time he saw a sentient totem before Foolish, anyways?

-Maybe, eventually, Foolish learns from his ways, turning to building instead. He isolates himself, creating a temple in a far off desert, creating his own oasis where he won't harm anyone.

-Maybe he gets a visitor one day, with large, black wings. They talk, but both make a point to not bring up what caused their distancing. They both seem happy, even when the elder departs.

-Maybe they see each other again, years later, a popped totem from not far off, bringing Foolish out of a deep slumber, taking a few months for him to wake up. Several mortals are met, but they see each other once more.

-Maybe Foolish learns of Phil's Son. Of course, he can't blame Phil for changing his mind from all those years ago. He has- had- has a child of his own, one he actually chose to have. Foolish can't be upset. He has his own kids! They aren't sentient, but they have names, a safe place. At least someone else considered Foolish family. A mother-father.. a papa. But that doesn't last long either. Mortals don't last long.

-They meet again on what's supposed to be a vacation. Foolish has no family, his kids taken from him, his parent gone, his new fling just broke up with him. But it's okay! Time to start anew. Even though others aren't thrilled to be stuck on the island, Foolish takes it happily. Sure, Phil still has his son, but he can't be upset about that.

-Then they both become parents again. And things are looking up for the Immortals, both with their happy families. Phil's eldest son returns and gets a child of his own, one that eventually gets welcomed into Phil's care with open arms. Foolish tries not to be bitter by how easily the young one was welcomed, shoving his feelings further down. He's got his own family!

-But maybe his own family isn't doing great. His boyfriend would go away for a few days, but now it's been several months. He wasn't informed by his partner of their recently adopted child, another islander, grief stricken with the loss of his own child, but now he realizes how similar to Phil he is in regards to welcoming people. His boyfriend left, but he's quickly acquired a son in law and grandchild. He convinces himself he's happy, despite the cheating allegations, the torture from other islanders, the constant pain from totems popping around him, the manipulation of the higher ups of the island, the-... He's happy, he swears!

-He still thinks Phil thinks less of him, maybe he cares less, but he doesn't hear the worry as Phil notices he's stuck in the nether. Phil noticed almost immediately, trying to figure how to get him back. He doesn't know the way Phil affectionately rolls his eyes at something he says or does, just like a parent would do.

-Then the world falls apart, but at least they're on the same team. The "game" has just started and everyone on their team is already losing morale, all hope lost within a few hours. Over the next few weeks, things change and Foolish starts to feel like a kid again. His teammates aren't helping. His powers were ripped from him on the original island, but now he can't keep up with the deaths. If only he were still the totem of that. If his physical wasn't bad enough, his emotions are bubbling and he doesn't want them to boil.

-His teammates- his family, are becoming just that. He would join them, but ever since the first rejection, he hasn't done it again. He hears the way his friends all call Phil 'dad'. He's not sure if it's in the cult way or the family way, but it still hurts when Phil doesn't reject the title. He knows he's being selfish, but why do they get to call him that? He's not sure, but he has a feeling even Carre has at least mumbled the word to their leader. Maybe it's different since they're mortal. It's not fair, but he hopes that's the reason. He wants to join in, to not be the only one not calling their leader that. But he doesn't dare. Not after the first time. He can't risk the aftermath of another possible rejection. It wouldn't be a stranger that would be affected this time around. So he doesn't bother, calling him 'wise leader Phil' and things of the like. It leaves a sting each time he hears one of his friends call Phil that, but he can manage.

-Things only get worse on the last day. After hardly scraping by, they had made it to the final two teams. Foolish came across totems. 2, looking near identical to his former children. He does what he thinks is best, handing them over to Phil. He can't risk losing another child, his most important family member. Once again, Phil rejects him, handing the totems back over. To Phil, he knows how important such an act is, but he wants to play fair. He also doesn't want to cause Foolish pain by possibly popping one or both. To Foolish, Phil has declined one of the most selfless acts a totem can do. He's upset, feeling like a wounded puppy, but he understands and will accept Phil's wishes. Phil didn't need them anyway and Foolish pushes down those feelings once more, happy they had won.

-They get to see their kids. And they do. But the freeing of the child of their top tormentor isn't too exciting. As the room shakes and the ceiling falls, Foolish calls for one last ditch attempt from his father figure, for any sort of guidance. Phil stands frozen in shock at a son he chose being hidden behind rubble, leaving soon after. The one he's rejected, desperately tries to save the only family he has left, leaving only when he realizes he can't help his child. He chooses to be useful to someone else.

This started as just thoughts, then writer brain came out. oops.

they don't usually end up going through with killing after the mention of seers and telepaths being a thing; but there are some rather twisted ideas in their head on how they'd deal with Quinn

he is most definitely not prepared when he goes after them

they learned everything they could about vampires and used every exploitable thing to use against him

he was lucky he was caught, Angel would have somehow turned his ribs into a knife holder and turned his spine into a belt for what he's done

Caelum is probably pretty concerned with all these... thoughts that pass through their feelings -

but they haven't ever acted on any of them, so it should be okay!

... right?

they're unsurprisingly willing to kill for their boys, that was definitely after their brief internal rage at Seth reappearing and raising hell

honestly, when when they seeked him out in the woods - his fate hinged on how he would have reacted to their confrontation...

it was likely he would've easily been poisoned and body disposed of, if not for the fact that Boo was still emotionally mature and fully self-aware

their bloodlust fell away when they see how broken up he truly was and that he just... wanted to move on

so they helped, despite their obsession screeching at them not to

when Seth was jumped, when you saw him busted up - that was it

he was under your protection, and you promised to yourself that you'd gut Derek like a fish given the first chance

you would see the son of a fuck dead if it was the last thing you did

even Charlie and Jessie weren't necessarily safe, being as you could still be reasoned with - it was good you didn't have to kill them

"that boy's got a family now and ain't nothing gonna take it from him" is the line that saved Jess from your wrath in particular

you were sure you couldn't help Seth heal his poor little heart from this loss

but if either of them made sure that harm could never come to your boys again - you would absolutely wipe them too

the only people that are aware is the storyweaver Finn

and Derek, who is most definitely terrified of you, regardless if he's been killed in another storyline (the percentage of you killing him vs. everyone else is high, so you've been the end of him many times)

there are bloodier timelines - ones with Seth disappearing after the first confrontation, ones where Jessie is presumably wiped by Derek, where Charlie was allegedly to be caught by another thug for bring a rat... Just ones with you with another body under your belt

it's really good that Alphonse and Seth never find out about this streak of cruelty - you could never bring it in yourself to hurt them after learning to love them so deeply

when Al warns other people to be more concerned about what you could do over what he would do is more true than he could ever know

everybody is real fucking lucky that you weren't Sweeney Todd's Ms. Lovett, because the body count on you could make enough meat pies to fill a house

bitches should be absolutely praying that they don't drive this little lightbulb over the edge, because they are asking for all the wrong things to happen

Cheeky is a pacifist for the most part, they fight to defend, to make sure they're doing their part in saving the world and can instants when people need to die for the greater good

but people need to stop testing them

the yan trait thing wss probably triggered through their isolation as an experiment, realizing how alone they were

seeing V again and being able to live with him was enough for them to grow that attachment; Cheeky is also very lucid and try everything to stamp out their tendencies

L in particular was saved because she was just so very important to their V, despite their burning jealousy

the Atrocity was actually surpised at the fact their utter fury and bloodlust at the loss of the children, that it was all pointed at him as well

it also amused him as he taunted them for being kindred spirits

at least until they broke out of his mind control with the blood boiling wrath they felt at being compared to him in any manner

Atrocity is even taken aback by the animosity

"How can we be alike if you have no one? When no one ever loved you in the first place?"

they stabbed him right in that sore spot, having seen into his mind for just a second

their light powers are nearly bolstered by this love for V and L and their hits actually hurt... they hurt a lot

but they're still not as skilled yet, so the other two still stepped in...

maybe it's best they learn how to channel this rage of their's; with any luck, they could do more permanent damage

they aim to keep him Atrocity as a toothless head and watch him die slowly...

hopefully in time

but first, they have a bone to pick with Anima

I have a lot of thoughts about angels in death note...

obviously they're not in the original series but I think they'd be a cool addition that would fit in with the world, yk?

because death note angels wouldn't be good.

they'd just be the opposite of Shinigami. some might be good. some might be evil. But Shinigami are apathy, so angels must be love.

how can you have love and still be evil, you ask? how can you have love and still be good, I ask?

angels might burn the world down to save one person.

for love.

because when something has the chance to be strong, it can be both strong and weak. when something has the chance to change the world, it's hard to say how it will shape it: will it build? or will it burn it all down?

apathy is neutral.

love is chaotic.

so yeah. I have a lot of thoughts about angels in death note.
