Glass Heart Game Stream

Hey everyone! I’ve mentioned before that I had a hand in helping with a visual novel project for a friend. Well, it’s finally coming out! Starting February 3rd, Glass Heart from Eternal Love Studios will be available for purchase on Steam. 

In order to celebrate the release, I’ll be playing the first two chapters of all but one of the routes this weekend. That way I can showcase the guys and give a little taste of what to expect. I love gothic horror, but I can’t do body horror at all. It triggers me bad.

Then avoid avoid avoid! Crimson Peak won't be the movie for you, for sure. People do get stabbed and disfigured a bit and it's not at all nice.

Granny Weatherwax!

OMG

Why I like them: She is badass (in fact she literally lives there!)

Why I don’t: This shouldn’t count as something I don’t like, but one of her character flaws is that she has to be The Best and she needs her ego propped up a bit. On the other hand she really earns her pride through intensely hard work. “Granny was an old-fashioned witch. She didn’t do good for people, she did right by them.”

Favorite episode (scene if movie): MMMM I love Wyrd Sisters and I love Witches Abroad–and I LOVE Carpe Jugulum. I think I’m going to say the scene in Carpe Jugulum when she has to make a choice and she confronts herself. “I knows what you are, Esmerelda Weatherwax, and I ain’t scared of you anymore.”

Favorite season/movie: I’ll go with Carpe Jugulum but ALSO Wyrd Sisters and Maskerade and Witches Abroad. And also A Hat Full of Sky. 

Favorite line: SO MANY. “Sin is when you treat people as things.”

Favorite outfit: She only has one, and it’s black. 

OTP: 

Brotp: Granny and Tiffany Aching

Head Canon: After Carpe Jugulum, the Quite Reverend Mightily-Praiseworthy-Are-Ye-Who-Exalteth-Om Oats stays in touch with Granny, sending her long letters. She doesn’t ever reply but she does get a dictionary so she can understand them :P

Unpopular opinion: The thing that happened in The Shepherd’s Crown should not have happened but it was also good that it happened? 

A wish: To someday write characters with the kind of depth and dimension that Granny Weatherwax has. 

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: The worst has already happened and there won’t ever be any more Discworld books and NOW I AM SAD AGAIN

23) Date Night 

“Alright Sven, what do you think?” Kristoff gave a grand gesture to the room, which he had just spent hours decorating. It was an old, dusty space in the castle, one Kai had given him reluctant permission to use, but in his own opinion, Kristoff didn’t think it was a terrible job. He’d dusted mostly everything off and arranged a table with two spindly, rickety chairs in the center of the room. On the center of the table was a bouquet of wildflowers and crocuses that he had picked this morning, but by now they were starting to wilt. Candles were placed here and there, and while they were admittedly dripping wax everywhere, it still had a sort of nice effect. The extra boxes and old furniture he couldn’t find room for was all shoved in a corner, which kind of killed any sort of romantic vibes. The only real positive thing about the whole ambience was the window, which revealed a stunning view of the fjords and shimmering Northern Lights.

Sven looked around warily, but gave his friend an encouraging grin. Kristoff saw right through it. 

“No, you’re right, this is horrible,” he groaned, sitting down on one of the chairs. “It just looks like a mess! Anna’s a princess, she deserves more than this! She deserves...a ballroom and fancy food and an orchestra and non-homemade candles and-” 

“Kristoff?” Anna called out, peeking her head through the door. “I knew it was you in here,” she teased,  “No one else in the castle sounds as crazy as you do.” She stopped when she saw the setup, and how Kristoff nervously tried to distract her attention from it all. “Wait...what’s this?”

“N-nothing!” Kristoff said quickly, rising to move her back out into the hall. “Just me messing around, i-it’s not like I was...uh...planning something...” 

“Is this for me?” Anna asked, choosing to ignore his pushing and bumbling and instead walked right into the room. “Oh, Kristoff...”

“I know, I know, it’s dumb. And it looks really messy and crazy probably. I just wanted to take you on a date, but I thought I’d just throw something together here since I don’t have the most money right now...and it’s just a disaster. We should just forget this ever happened and-”

Anna simply smiled, shook her head, and cut him off with a kiss. “No, Kristoff, I love it!”

He blinked at her, dumbfounded. “Really?” 

“Of course!” Anna exclaimed, beaming at him happily. “Because I know you put your heart into it, and that’s all that matters! Now, c’mon, let’s get started!”

National Best Friends Day

So... Apparently, it's NBF day. And while I have bffs IRL, I also have them here. (And if it's really not NBF day, then who cares, I'm doing this anyway, 'cause she's stellar.) Shout-out to one of the sweetest, most talented ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting because of the Frozen fandom. You are worth it. Worth ALL of the things! You are beautiful, inside and out, and you take the time to understand me. You check in on my when I'm feeling my worst, and we generally end up talking about silly, happy things. You've offered up your time, whenever I need it, to talk, rant, unload, etc, and you sincerely mean it. You deserve all the love in the world, and I'm just happy that you were placed in my life so that I can share that love with you. :) One thing I don't like, however... WHY YOU SO FAR AWAY?! I hate feeling so helpless when I know you need a hug, and there's nothing I can do about it. Just know that if I could be there, I would be in a pinch!! I love you, Krystol ( angrykittykj )!!!!!!
