Day 7+8 !
Kyonshi Ani + Imouto ♥♥ (had to throw tomato in there too!)

Note
headcannons for kyonshi family
These three lived in a family with little money
Nevertheless, the family was friendly enough
People burned down their house because of a disagreement
Tomato defended its owner to the very end
Although they have become kionshi, they remember warm feelings when they were human. They are still very attached to each other
The middle child of the Kyonshi family is more mature than his older brother
Although Kyonshi Otouto always grumbles at his older brother and younger sister, he will always take deep care of them
They don't talk about it among themselves, but they regret that they are no longer human

are you leaving me too?
( ᪥ ) : hii this is my first time doing a request and of course, posting a twoshot. thank you for your wonderful idea @monikadreemurr, i really love it !! (i'm thinking of making this one a series but i'll stick w/ twoshots).
Tumblr media
characters : ranpo edogawa and reader (as his foster mother)
synopsis : everything's not fine for ranpo. everywhere he go, he finds his way out immediately. since the death of his parents, he was left alone with no one to rely on. his dad who's known as 'the clairvoyant' told him if anything were to happen, ranpo should go to yokohama and visit the police academy. throughout his journey, he secretly longed for love—an unconditional love of a mother who will give him hugs, praises and snacks to go throughout his lonely world.
warnings : nothing because it's all about baby ranpo :3 just wanna kiss him !!
Tumblr media
"Mr. Edogawa....GET UP FROM THE FLOOR, NOW!"
Just a typical day for Ranpo's Police Academy Instructor to go insane from his tantrum in the middle of the class. Ranpo Edogawa, a student of Yokohama's Police Academy who got admitted for merely 3 days already set fire on his name. Instructors fear the time he comes inside the classroom with his usual bored face. Ranpo will be making remarks about how the lesson can be so easy that even a baby could understand.
"Just quit your job and find something else! You and your lessons bore me out, it's nothing but a piece of cake!" Ranpo remarked with a pout on his face.
Oh, what about his classmates? They're humiliated. There jaws are down the floor with their tired stressed eyes opened wide. 'How could he find the l-lesson that e-easy...' they question that time to time.
"How dare you...—" The instructor raised his hand when someone clapped their hands gently, getting everyone's attention.
"Mr. Imoto, I'm afraid that's not how you give discipline, yes?" A lady with a [hair length] [hair color] hair, glimmering [skin color], navy colored uniform and a badge questioned.
"Ah! Miss [Last Name]! I-I didn't mean—Class, greetings!" The class eventually stood up, acknowledging the presence of the Police Academy Head Assistant, Miss [Your Name].
"Everything's noted, Mr. Imoto. Oh, and Mr. Ranpo, I'm impressed of how you find every difficult lessons quite easy for you to understand, yes? Yet, a talk will be waiting for you after—"
"Couldn't it be now? I can't handle this man anymore." Ranpo straightened his uniform and pointed his index finger to the instructor who's now raging.
"The director won't be too happy if I myself, will break a rule. Now, back to business." Looking back to Ranpo, you sent him a genuine smile and threw a candy to him mouthing 'that will last long enough until later'.
Tumblr media
After an hour of keeping his mouth shut to stop all the snarky comments he wants to throw to the instructor, Ranpo lazily gathered his things and left the room. He dig inside his pocket and found a lollipop that he bought maybe 2 months ago.
While walking, he heard a familiar voice yet far from the suiting voice he remembered. Their voice is firm and cold, as if it's ready to blow your whole dignity out with one word being spoken.
"Mr. Imoto, I don't want any excuses. Young Edogawa is a child, he has no one to rely on, this is the only place he could stay at for the moment. And as a Police Officer, should you act like this?"
Ranpo's steps halted. It's his first time to hear someone who cared about him this deep that despite the reality of him, crossing his limitations, you cared about his wellbeing.
"I...I do understand, Miss [Last Name], I deeply extend my apologies to the young boy."
'Miss [Last Name]? So, it's the head assistant..' Ranpo thought, placing the lollipop back to his pocket. Later on, multiple sounds of footsteps filled the hallway. In the end of it, there is Mr. Imoto alongside with you, his head hang low.
"Oh! Mr. Edogawa! I thought you have forgotten about the talk we're supposed to do." You let out a chuckle as she patted Mr. Imoto's back.
"Now, Mr. Imoto, what have we discussed...earlier?" You asked, a sinister smile creeping on your face.
"I—I, Mr. Edogawa...I would like to apologize a-about what I've done to you for the past 3 days...I..please forgive me..." Ranpo looked at you with a pout on his lips. 'Just like this? No sweets? Just apologies?' you shook your head and shrugged.
"No."
Tumblr media
"Mr. Edogawa..." You started, handing him a box filled with his favourite snacks. There are some sweets from the foreign country that caught his attention.
"Hmmm...[Your Name]-chan! They're yummy!" You're taken aback when he addressed you informally. Yet instead of finding it disrespectful, you found it cute and heartwarming.
You watched him eat the whole pack of candies and open another one—the whole box almost empty. You found a genuine happiness to his face, smile plastered on his face while he took in the sweetness of the food.
You found yourself connected to the boy despite of him merely staying for 3 days and almost kicking himself out already. You found him pure and angelic, a soul that no one would understand if they're not interested to do so. You discovered the feeling that you want to protect him when he's about to be hit by his instructor.
"Okay, so, back to business...Ranpo..Why is it you feel that everything's just boring for you?"
"Oh that? I feel like all of them are dumb like, you can see from that situation who did that and why but they're acting stupid...It...scares me."
"Why...Why does it scare you?" You took a sit across the young boy, interested to how he would respond.
"It's like, I'm the only one who could see the monster..the darkness. They're not able to see it, that's why they can't see the truth.." Ranpo sighed and put the bag of candy down.
"You want some red bean porridge?" You asked, trying to lighten up his mood. Ranpo shook his head but his stomach says otherwise.
"Uhh...[Your Name]-chan? How do you know I like red bean porridge?"
"Oh well, I'm used to visit you when you're 4, I'm around 11 there, I think? Whenever your parents are away, I will take care of you. They will have some note on the table saying 'Don't forget he loves to eat red bean porridge, we'll be back by the evening.' and you'll end up eating 10 bowls.." I laughed at the memory and took my car keys from my table.
"Come on now, I think it's a job well done for you to even reach 3 days here.. Let's get some dinner !!"
"Oh please, can we buy a red bean porridge with a sweet sweet sweet mochi~? The last time I ate one, the mochi wasn't sweet enough!"
Tumblr media
okayyy so, that's it for now..I feel sleepy. i don't even know how i wrote this haha, maybe will revise it later on.
take note : there's part 2~!

NCT Mentioning Chwe Boyoung Throughout '2022 NCT Autumn Workshop' While She's Away in New York
Masterlist
Summary: Just moments of NCT mentioning Boyoung in their Autumn Workshop videos~
Chat font: Read in monotone male/female voice
Tumblr media
Hello, and welcome to another video of basically NCT simping over their member, Chwe Boyoung.
As we all know, Jeno and Boyoung were not in the video for the Autumn Workshop due to being in New York for the fashion show, being the king and queen they are.
So I decided to gather moments from this 3-episode series of the members mentioning Boyoung, because from what I can tell, this is the first time Boyoung is not present in a video that includes all members of NCT.
So enjoy watching NCT miss their female maknae, Chwe Boyoung.
Tumblr media
[Introducing the Members]
“Assistant Manager Jeno and Director Boyoung are on a business trip to New York today. They’re working hard overseas right now.” Everyone applauded at the mention of the two absent members.
“Aigoo, I miss my baby!” Ten cooed, thinking of Boyoung.
“Your baby?” Johnny stood up as if offended. “Since when?”
“Since forever!”
“Uhh, I don’t think so!” Doyoung stood up, followed by Taeyong rising up and speaking his own argument, “She’s my Bub!”
“Wait a minute -!” Kun stood up, fighting Ten who tried to make him sit down.
“It’s definitely not any of you guys -” Jaehyun stood up. Everyone else cackled at the battle between the father figures.
“If Boyoung was here, she’d be dying from embarrassment,” Renjun snickered.
Tumblr media
[Introducing Jisung and Mark]
“Please show pretty aegyo to everyone here,” Chenle instructed the two males. Cue everyone cooing and cheering.
“Ah really, where is Chwe Boyoung to do aegyo!” Haechan cried out dramatically. “This would have been the perfect opportunity to make her do aegyo!”
Tumblr media
[After Chenle introduced his division]
“He didn’t forget to mention Jeno and Boyoung who are on a business trip, that’s great leadership!” Minsoo commented brightly.
“Yes, everyone must be missing the two, especially NCT’s only female member, right?” Lala added.
“RIGHT!” Everyone agreed.
“It’s so empty without our maknae!” Yuta pouted.
“It’s okay, it’s okay!” Taeyong assured everyone. “Jeno and Boyoung are having a good time in New York and are looking out for each other, I’m sure.”
Tumblr media
[When YangYang Guessed Beatbox to the Dance Quiz]
“Yah, imagine if Boyoung was here,” Jaemin said to the Dream table, “She would have gotten this question right.”
“If she was watching us right now, she would have punched us for not guessing it,” Mark added in with a laugh.
Spoiler: She does yell at them for not guessing the obvious answer (according to Boyoung's Bubble text after this video was released lol)
Tumblr media
[When They Did Their Team Intro]
“Boyoung would be cringing at everyone’s intro!” Jisung snickered as he watched everyone prepare their team greeting.
“Ah, if only she was here, I would make sure she’d do the most embarrassing things,” Yuta sighed. He faced one of the cameras that were on him, sending a finger heart. “I love you, Imoto~”
Tumblr media
[Balloon Popping Game]
“Where’s Boyoung?” Taeyong asked the others as he instinctively looked around. “I need to tell her to be careful when playing this game -”
“Hyung, Boyoung is in New York!” Jaemin reminded the leader with a small chuckle.
“Ah, right?” Taeyong scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “I’m so used to looking out for her whenever we do physical games with everyone~”
“No, it’s okay,” Boyoung’s best friend assured him, “I’m used to looking out for her as well.”
“It’s weird not having her here, isn’t it,” Johnny butted into their conversation, the other team members following close behind.
“Right,” Kun agreed, “I think this is the first time she’s not present for these videos!”
“Right, she’s always with us,” Jaehyun agreed quietly.
“Aigoo, she’s growing up so much,” Doyoung commented nostalgically.
Was this conversation cute or was it cute?
Tumblr media
[After Balloon Popping Game]
“I’m glad Boyoung isn’t here with us,” Jisung said to Ten, “She doesn’t like loud noises like balloons being popped, she would have been scared playing this game.”
“Aigoo!” was Ten’s response to the male maknae, patting the top of his head.
We love a caring boyfriend
Tumblr media
[Group Photo Mission]
“Who is the lightest?” Doyoung asked his team as they analysed the image they had to copy.
“Ah, it would have been easy if Boyoung was here,” Johnny sighed exasperatedly. “I would have carried her easily.”
“Right?!” Everyone agreed.
Tumblr media
[Group Pig Wrestling Game]
“If Boyoung was here, she would have been defeated instantly,” Haechan teased as they prepared for the game.
“I don’t think so,” Jisung shook his head. “She would have been protected by all of the hyungs until the end,”
“…that’s true…”
Tumblr media
“As expected…” Taeyong commented to himself as he watched everyone fight each other from his corner. “Boyoung would be sitting next to me if she was here with me…”
Tumblr media
“Wah, if Boyoung saw us like this…” Renjun snickered, watching everyone shuffle around on their butts trying to knock each other over. “She would question our sanity.”
Tumblr media
[Recreation Game (Dance if you think the description is about you)]
“Do you think you are the most handsome?” Minsoo asked the calm Jaemin.
“Of course,” was the member’s reply. Cue everyone going crazy at his confident reply.
“Are you watching, Chwe Boyoung!” Haechan declared, pointing at a random camera. “Your best friend is the most handsome one in NCT!”
“Why are you calling her about this?” Mark laughed, whacking his best friend’s arm.
“Boyoung will be proud of you, Na Jaemin!” Chenle told the man as he came back to his seat. Jaemin simply laughed at their friend’s cheeky comments, though knew deep down that Boyoung would have been cheering along with them.
Tumblr media
“You are the sweetest and cutest in NCT!”
“CHWE BOYOUNG!” Almost everyone called out, making everyone laugh at how they all thought of the same person.
“WHERE IS MY BEST FRIEND WHEN SHE IS NEEDED?!” Jaemin called out over the loudness of NCT.
“Boyoung would have won in a heartbeat!” Hendery declared.
Tumblr media
“I am the sexiest in NCT!”
“CHWE BOYOUNG!” came Jaemin’s vote. “MY BEST FRIEND IS THE SEXIEST IN NCT! HAVE YOU SEEN HER NEW YORK PICTURES?”
Cue Jisung looking very embarrassed at the declaration, face turning red at the thought.
Tumblr media
[Anonymous Letter]
“Seo Yongho Assistant Manager,” Lala read out Johnny’s name, “You’re too tall, don’t come near me, it’s very disturbing at work.”
“Boyoung?” Sungchan perked up. Cue a flashback to ONE-TWO Punch that he co-hosted with Boyoung:
“Yah! Why do you have to be so tall?!”
Everyone fell to the floor in laughter for the millionth time.
“Do you know how much it pains my neck to look up at you to talk?!” They laughed louder when they realised she was doing just that; looking up at Sungchan. “I’m constantly surrounded by tall people - especially with Johnny Oppa - why do you have to be so tall? Why did you constantly drink milk?!”
Tumblr media
“Who wrote this?” Minsoo wondered as he read the next letter. “Xiaojun-ssi! See you on the roof after work today! I can’t help it anymore.”
“Boyoung-ah?” Xiaojun wondered, standing up. “Is this because I keep teasing her about Jisung?” Cue everyone laughing while Jisung hid his face behind his hands.
Tumblr media
“We got one more message to read, and it came from overseas!” Lala revealed, showing a fancy envelope. Everyone began cheering, calling out the members who were not present. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get a letter from all members who are currently overseas, but we managed to get one at least!”
“To my weird members of NCT…” Minsoo read out.
“CHWE BOYOUNG!” Everyone screamed, recognising the nickname they had from the maknae.
“I hope everyone is doing well in Korea and getting along together,” Minsoo continued to read out for them once they calmed down. “Jeno and I are doing fine in New York and are heading home soon, so don’t miss us too much -”
“Who said I was missing them?” Haechan sniffed defiantly.
“I MISS YOU JENO AND BOYOUNG-AH!” Doyoung called out for his kids.
“Keep on persevering and fighting on, and show who NCT are - a bunch of weirdos who somehow clash well together,” The Enjoy-Couple giggled at how Boyoung described the members. “Jeno says that he is protecting Boyoung and taking care of her, so don't worry -" Everyone seemed to sigh in relief simultaneously. "- Boyoung says that she is also watching out for Jeno, making sure they’re sticking together. Don’t miss us too much.”
Everyone clapped at the letter, all of them smiling and looking happy - even Haechan who was pretending earlier to not miss them - when really, he missed them a lot.
Tumblr media
[Future Special CT Strategy Division]
“And not only do we have these great schedules coming up for NCT Dream, but there is also an upcoming movie debut for one of our members!” Sungchan announced, waving his hand to the screen for the next slide to appear. The screen showed Chwe Boyoung for her movie debut in 20th Century Girl.
Everyone began cheering and clapping, standing up to show their support and excitement.
“Boyoung-ssi will be having her movie debut in 20th Century Girl in October, please watch her movie with excitement and support when it is released on Netflix,” Sungchan told everyone with a proud smile on his face for his dear friend.
“WE LOVE YOU, BOYOUNG!” Johnny hollered out as everyone cheered.
Tumblr media
[Innovative CT Growth Promotion Division]
As the screen showed images of The Dream Show 2 concert that happened in September, everyone cooed when there was an image of the Dreamies surrounding Boyoung into a hug.
“Aigoo, I miss our maknae!” Taeyong pouted. “Look how cute she is with the members~”
Tumblr media
As you can see, throughout the three episodes of NCT’s Autumn Workshop, Boyoung was mentioned multiple times - thus, showing how whipped NCT is for their female member.
To all the haters thinking she does not belong to NCT…watch this video again and see the love the members have for their maknae.
Keep on supporting NCT and their future schedules - especially with Boyoung’s upcoming movie debut.
Thank you for watching this video, click the like button and subscribe for more future content.

Mai's and Yugi's/Meisa's decks secretly agreeing about the preferred Grand Finale of Battle City for @enneadau
“Why would you want me to boost my deck?” She couldn’t help but ask Mai, tilting her head in her confusion.
“Because when we face off in the finals and I win, I want it to be because I’m better than you at your best.” Mai’s confident smirk drew a watery but amused smile from Yugi.
“And you’re not going to sulk when I beat you?” Meisa took over to retort, giving her a grin that she didn’t really feel.
She didn’t have the drive for this tournament now. Not with the harm that’d been done to her friends. All she wanted was to kick Hanaq’s ass. But she needed the Gods cards to unlock her true name, and the only way to get it was to win them from their holders. That was the only thing stopping her from dropping out of Battle City and she could feel Imoto felt the same way.
“You’re staying out of this.” Mai huffed at the Pharaoh, “I’ve been wanting to duel Yugi for over a year now. She promised me she’d duel me in the finals. Give her a chance to defend the title without you.”
There was a moment where the Pharaoh was offended that Mai didn’t want to duel her, then she felt the excitement and anticipation buzzing along her senses from her twin, helping dampen down the fear and emotional pain that’d been consuming her, and forced herself to relax.
She had, after all, promised Yugi that she could handle the non-magical duels and any duel against Mai wouldn’t involve magic.
It would be a tough duel, but it wouldn’t involve magic.
She stepped back.
‘It’s okay, Anesan, I know how much you were looking forward to dueling Kaiba. I won’t steal that duel from you, too.’ Yugi reassured her twin, before smiling at Mai, the fire of battle helping chase away the dark emotions that’d been suppressing the light blazing bright within her. “I can win without Anesan. Just you wait, this duel is going to be awesome.”
Having achieved her desired goal of pushing Yugi out of her own head and thinking about the duels ahead with a clearer mind, Mai smirked. “I can’t wait.”

You’re like the only Naruro blog I follow and none of my friends have read Naruto so please I must share my thoughts with someone ;-; So I’m at about chapter 300 of the Naruto manga and this is the first time I’ve actually consumed any canon content of the series despite having dipped my toes into the fandom content before. I have a few things to get off my chest. One, I don’t really get why the fandom HATES Sakura so much. Yes, in OG Naruto, she is generally useless, but more so bc she was so sidelined completely. Her first fight against the puppet dude in Shippuden was genuinely so fun to read, and she’s actually so strong, more than I thought just based on what I’d heard prior to reading the manga!! The worst parts about the mangaka’s writing really come out when she has to deal with her feelings for Sasuke, the damsel in distress trope hits horrifying new levels of awful. If the romance hadn’t existed, I think she could have been such a better character, because then the mangaka wouldn’t have to add his such shit writing of women outside of punch heal heal medical ninja™️. (Although I will say, I do love her friendship with Naruto and I think that was written great!) Like I really do like her character but the writing is just so bad sometimes. Secondly, Sasuke. Kinda. Unbearable. I know he’s out for revenge and all that, and that he has a redemption later on but for now🥲 I can’t stand him I’m sorry 🥲. 2 edgy 4 m3. And right now, he’s kinda just. genuinely stupid. And I can’t take it. This is totally just a personal thing tho, I get that it’s a part of his character arc. Finally, I sorta get the impression that the fandom (not on tumblr but in general) really take their interpretation of characters to the extreme, and have the most one dimensional view of characters. For example, Tsunade genuinely seems like an awesome Hokage, is one of Naruto’s biggest supporters, and all the fandom sees is her boobs. Sakura is “useless” and “evil” for not returning Naruto’s feelings. They think Sasuke is a cool edgy deuteragonist who can do no wrong despite doing so many things wrong. “He tried to kill Sakura? Good!! She was useless anyway!!” So many of my views of the characters has been completely flipped on its head now that I’m actually reading the series. My view of the characters before I started reading was so skewed by an awful fandom. I really did believe that Sakura was useless, and that Hinata was somehow a better character????? And that Sasuke was actually justified in what he did, and that Tsunade was a bad hokage, to name a few. Makes me feel so stupid that I just believed it. Anyway, thats my rant! I hope this isn’t too negative or anything, but people sometimes praise this series like it’s the peak writing of all time, when there’s issues like blatant sexism (just to name one) within the writing itself and the fandom. I am really enjoying the series right now and am looking forward to what happens next!
:SCREAMS AND CLAPS VERY LOUDLY: YEAH YEAH YEAH
The women in Nar/uto are done dirty BOTH by Kish/imoto and a fair proportion of the fandom. I understand why some parts of the fandom venerate Sak/ura to make up for this and act like she was written amazingly, but I gotta admit, I find that annoying as well jhfjfgjdgjf.
Tsu/nade is honestly one of the few women in Nar/uto who I genuinely love to watch! I love that she's allowed to be messy and drunken and a gambler, but she's also got a strong head for politics, and she's amazing on the battlefield. And honestly, who better to run a country than someone who can run a hospital??? You need a similar mentality, lolololol. Like, yeah, she makes some poor decisions! As does every leader in the history of ever. But she's fun to watch and this is fantasy, so that's what counts!
Her obvious love and care for Nar/uto and Kon/oha are so sweet. The forehead kiss got me all kinds of soft. What a badass granny! I also shamelessly shipped her and Shi/zune even as a kid, shhhhh
I think I love certain interpretations of fanon!Sak/ura a lot more than canon!Sa/kura - she does have INCREDIBLE moments in the show, which I adore, and she's allowed to be both physically strong and emotionally vulnerable, which is awesome. But so much of her arc centres on Sas/uke, the edgelord who I was mildly obsessed with when I first watched at 13, but now just see as your average... well, 16/17 yo EDGELORD, and it makes me roll my eyes up into the stratosphere. The ending of her arc will never not make me cringe. Especially since she has her bangs back... like... kish/imoto... mmm. I think I'm maddest that she has SUCH POTENTIAL to be an amazing character, and it wasn't really tapped into - it felt like she was constantly sidelined to focus on the boys' arcs.
As for Sas/uke himself... A lot of his fans will happily ignore every awful thing he does just because he absolutely has a point about Kon/oha being terrible and needing reform (am I still pissed about how very little of importance changed in Bor/uto??? maybe so.... put the fucking frontline fighting age up to 18 at least, jfc). Like - don't get me wrong! I love that he does terrible things! I think he deserves to be a little bit unhinged, and it kinda suits his character as, again a 16/17 yo edgelord. That's just what they're like. But he's very much an Ends Justify The Means guy and I can't take anyone seriously who argues that a vengeful, bloodthirsty child becoming dictator of all ninjalands would've been the better option, actually.
THANK YOU FOR RANTING, I love to hear it!

Do the rights to the Ichi line belong to Hiroshimaya now? Or would any future imoto of Ichiyuri, Ichitomi and Ichihiro have to use the other non-Ichi parts of their names?
The Ichi line now resides at Hiroshimaya, so they can easily debut new Ichi maiko from there ^^

My Tips For A Perfect Social Media Campaign
Hello everyone and welcome back to my marketing-related ramblings. The end of the semester is approaching rapidly and it is time for me to use what I've learned to tell you all some of the best things to do in order to have a successful social media campaign.
SO...no use putting it off any longer, let's get started.
Tumblr media
The basics for a social media campaign:
Alright, well I can't just JUMP into this without going over the incredibly basic things you need to know about starting a social media campaign. Firstly, you need to create your social media pages...and make sure your usernames are the same across platforms so that people can find you everywhere (consistency! More on this later). You should have clean and appealing icons that relate to your brand, and "bios" that briefly communicate who you are as a brand. When you make posts and receive comments, interact with them! Like and reply to comments to show that your company cares, and respond to questions/criticism with grace and tact. Finally, utilize your insights. Compare the interactions and reach you get on your posts, and use that knowledge to figure out what you should focus on in the future. Do videos do better than pictures? Great! Post more videos. Do more people like your posts when there's a dog in the included picture? Awesome, round up the office puppies and do a photoshoot! Are most of your followers online after 5pm on a weekday? Well, definitely try not to post at 10am then, or they may miss your content completely.
Now, keeping those basic concepts in mind, here are some personal tips from me to you:
#1) Consistency is key
When you are utilizing social media as a brand, you want to keep everything consistent against all platforms. Use the same fonts and color schemes in your graphics (without making them look too similar and thus boring), speak in the same formality (are your followers spoken to as your friends? your consumers? your coworkers?), use the same hashtags, and post at the same frequency (Imoto, 2022). Have you ever heard about the rigorous training Disney World employees go through to make sure everyone has the same experience with a character regardless of who the actor is? This is a very similar concept! Stay consistent with your "character" at all times so that every follower has the same experience with your brand on socials. Additionally, having a firm posting schedule fairs well with social media algorithms, making it more likely that a non-follower will see one of your posts. At my job, I like to write my plans for posts out on a paper calendar every month, and I stick to a similar posting formula each time. I have just recently gotten Meta Business Suite to work for our accounts (finally!) so, after writing out my calendar, I now plan on making most of our social media content ahead of time and having them scheduled to post automatically for the month.
#2) Engage your followers
Engagement is a big deal, don't sleep on it! Seeing your followers interested and interacting with your brand gives you an idea of what is and is not working in your campaign, and will often help you figure out what to post next. Engaging posts will also help you retain followers; people unfollow profiles that they are no longer interested in, so you have to keep people interested if you want them to stay around! I like to ask questions regarding ideas, opinions, and suggestions. For example, since I run the social accounts for Clark University's Visual and Performing Arts Department, I recently made us a Spotify account and asked followers to submit song recommendations that I can put in a "Clarkies Fall Favorites" playlist.
Tumblr media
You can also create polls and quizzes, give users a re-shareable meme (example: a photo that they can create captions for), and host live streams.
#3) Make videos!
Tiktok has grown widely popular in the last two years, and companies are jumping at the chance to attack more Gen Z followers through the short comedic videos that make the app so popular. But this is all pretty common knowledge...really, I wanted to point out how Instagram Reels can greatly increase your brand's reach on Instagram. On the Instagram that I run, I made Reels more of a priority after I realized that our videos were reaching a much larger group of people than our static posts were. It's my understanding, from personal experience, that Reels are really doing well- so I suggest focusing on them! Here are some of our Insights:
Tumblr media
#4) Have a plan for emergencies
When running the social media of a particularly large/important brand (and also in general...it's just more likely to be applicable with bigger companies) you'll want to have a crisis management plan in place. This way, you are prepared to combat bad PR without making anything worse. Have a way to temporarily pause scheduled posts, outline how exactly customer service representatives should respond to criticism in times of crisis, decide on solutions to problems that can be predicted (such as a website crash), and MAKE SURE only AUTHORIZED personnel have access to your social pages! With that last part in mind, make sure there is a chain of command for workers to address in an emergency; there should be a ladder of decisions makers based on the severity of the issue. If an insensitive post was made that caused a ton of offense and backlash, for example, then only the very high-up marketing managers should decide what to do next.
There are many more things that can and should be included in social media campaigns; these things are complex and should be fluid/evolving! What I've included here are just some of the many strategies you can implement for your campaigns. Overly-long, fairly spoilery Revice end-of-series thoughts under the cut:
So that’s Revice. Overall, kind of middle of the road as far as Rider seasons go, in my personal opinion.
The Good:
• Family-themed season that showed multiple types of families
• Not one, but TWO female riders who were regular parts of the cast! More of this, please, Mr. Toei.
• The arcs of all 3 of the Deadmans generals. They all took different paths, and every single one of them was extremely satisfying.
• George in the first half of the season, when he was a morally ambiguous gremlin Rider otaku man.
• Relatedly, having George, a Rider otaku, played by an actual IRL Rider otaku was an absolute delight when it came to behind-the scenes stuff. I'm still in awe of Noritaka's sofubi collection.
• Hiromi. Dang, for a character who wasn’t even part of the original plan for this season, he was so good! So unironically wholesome!
• I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Vice. He’s insanely obnoxious, but his development from “I wish to eat your entire family” to where he is by season’s end was really well done, and Eitoku did just a ridiculously good job of acting him all season, and and, again, I hate to admit it, but Kimura Subaru did a good job with the voice acting (he’s still a terrible human being though).
• The other two Igarashi sibs’ demons are also a delight. I love how even once he’s “good,” Kagerou is still a little so-and-so, and I shan’t hear a word against Lovekov, best oversized plushie ever.
• The way the series dealt with the frankly insane number of toys and other merch it had to shill in the early season was really good! The sheer volume of STUFF was ridiculous, but it never felt shoehorned in.
• That brief shining moment where Tamaki got to be Over Demons. Such a delight to watch, and I'm hoping we see that happen again in some of the post-series releases. It's so fun to see a character who's clearly so pumped to henshin.
• Overall, a very strong cast, even for the younger members of the regular crew, like Hyuuga Wataru (Daiji/Kagerou) and Imoto Ayaka (Sakura). Hyuuga in particular gets major kudos in my book for how he was able to depict two different characters in a very distinct way and had a lot of scenes where he was effectively talking to himself.
The Bad:
• Akemi’s main relation to Daiji being, “also works for Fenix and gives Daiji black coffee sometimes” somehow translating into “Daiji loses his MIND after she’s killed.” Between her lack of any sort of coherent personality and her being fridged for the sake of Daiji’s worst storyline, I’m super not impressed with how she was handled.
• “Oh, hey, I put my demon in my son, that’s why he was Like That. But I’m actually a good dad!” and the show agreeing with that perspective. Like, no, I’m sorry, Masumi was actually a terrible dad who abandoned his kid and committed war crimes.
• Relatedly: the entire Juuga arc. George’s characterization in it felt like it came from an AU version of the show, where his characterization hadn’t undergone a sea change towards the end of Hiromi’s run as Demons.
• Relatedly to the entire Juuga arc: The way it felt like the show should’ve ended a good 5 episodes earlier, and was just spinning its wheels after Giff’s first defeat.
• The anti-vax metaphor with the Fenix stamping program, unintentional or not, was BAD.
• The way the series dealt with introducing new toys got worse and worse as the show went on.
• Kimura Subaru is still a racist.
• Anyone else remember those reports about the Revice set being an actual abusive workplace? I do. Toei and Bandai ain’t getting any of my $$ (or ¥¥ for that matter) for this series.
• Overall, I think Kinoshita was over his head with writing this. Between the insane production schedule, the toy schedule, and inevitable executive meddling (you can’t tell me that Hikaru suddenly becoming a main character for like 3 episodes wasn’t the result of some behind-the-scenes stuff), it was a heck of a first TV series to write for, and although he did an amazing job with the first half of the series, the second half had a definite “flying by the seat of their pants” feel to the writing. I wouldn’t be upset to see him come back and try it again with more experience under his belt, though considering the bullying he’s been getting on social media as certain members of the Japanese fanbase got disillusioned with the series, I also wouldn’t blame him if he never came back to writing toku.
The Ugly: • Especially coming on the heels of Zero-One’s hurriedly retooled ending due to a COVID-related production pause right as it hit the endgame and the unpopularity of Saber, fandom’s reaction to Revice, especially over the last few months, has been bad. Toku fandom can be an absolute cesspool at the best of times, but I feel like Rider fandom has been even worse than usual with this.
• All 3 of the regular subbers/scrubbers for Revice: IzuSubs, GeoSubs, and Lark, have come out and said that they’re not doing Geats because they don’t want to be committing that much time and effort towards a project that seems to just fuel people’s complaints about the series.
• I’m still looking forward to Geats (Takahashi has a mixed record in my books, as Ex-Aid was one of my least favorite seasons, while Zero-One was one of my all-time faves, and the Battle Royale theme seems to play to his strengths since he doesn’t do the whole “all the Riders are friends” thing), but boy, there’s a reason I don’t interact with Rider fandom all that much.

Nothing is True
Tumblr media
… Everything is permitted.
What is real?
What is not?
Is she just turning crazy or are other powers at work?
One thing is clear Kohana will get to the bottom of this and maybe change the whole Ninja-World at the same time.

Chapter 6: Hidden Blade
Kizashi was eating with gusto one of the fresh peaches their Kaa-Chan had bought today at the market, while he watched how his little sister Kohana turned their basement upside down.
“Again, explain to me what you are searching for, Imoto-Chan.”, he asked amused.
His little sister looked really funny full of cobwebs and dust.
“A family heirloom.”, was her short answer, opening another chest.
“What kind of family heirloom?”
“A weapon.”
“A weapon, interesting.”, the pink-haired young man bit into his peach. “What kind of weapon?”
Kohana stopped, and a little frown formed on her face.
“A...Hidden Blade.”
The older boy couldn’t help but snort.
“What by Kami is a Hidden Blade?”
“I will know when I see it.”, she barked at him, closing the chest and opening the next one.
Kizashi raised an eyebrow. Someone was grumpy.
“Imoto-Chan, what gave you even the idea that we have something like that?”
She paused and sent him a look.
“Can’t you annoy anyone else?”
“No, I wanna annoy you.”, he grinned cheeky, which made Kohana huff well annoyed.
She rather wished her brother be far away.
This was something important, she didn’t need his stupid commentary.
A few weeks had passed since she had become a Genin.
To her utter disappointment, the Ninja Life wasn't as glamorous as she imaged.
Besides training with Minato-Sensei and her teammates, which was awesome, the daily D-Rank Missions were absolutely horrible!
Painting fences, ripping out weed, babysitting, cleaning the Inuzuka kennels!
These were glorified chores, nothing more!
Obito and her were ready to burst, Rin tried to keep them calm and Kakashi seemed to have a sick satisfaction seeing them nearly lose it.
But the worst was the damn Tora-Mission!
If they had to catch that hellcat one more time, Kohana would lose it, she swore!
The only thing good was, like she said, the training Minato-Sensei made them go through.
Already Kohana felt much stronger. Obito and Rin also made great progress, Rin even started to learn medical jutsu. Sure none of them were on Kakashi-Level, but one had to celebrate the little victories in life.
Anyway, besides this, Kohana had found more diaries of Haruno Sakuya, her mysterious world-jumping ancestor and had learned quite a bit more about the Assassin Way of Life.
It was still difficult to wrap her head around that Sakuya had been in another world an assassin named Carina Auditore, coming from a long line of assassins, however with any more pages she read, Kohana believed it more.
There was also the fact, that she still got visions.
It was like she relived Carina/Sakuya's life.
Carina Auditore had lived in such a modern world, full of strange devices, yet was part of an order that protected humankind for centuries.
Haruno Sakuya was a weak Miko who had trained hard to become a semi-passable Ninja, during the Warring States Era and had been Uchiha Madara’s lover.
What the soul who had inhabited these two women had in common was their dedication to the assassin order.
Sakuya had tried and succeeded in recreating the Assassin Brotherhood's most-priced weapon.
The symbol of the Brotherhood you could say.
The Hidden Blade.
On the page, Kohana had read yesterday night, was written that Sakuya had placed her Hidden Blade in a chest, in the hope someone in the Haruno Clan would in the future pick it up again.
Kohana was determined to be this one.
Reading all these stories about being an assassin and living them in her vision...Kohana felt closer to being an assassin, than a ninja.
Strangely it fit her like a clove.
The assassination techniques Sakuya had written down in her dairies, the green-haired girl learned them fast.
It was like her body already knew them, remembered them.
This gave her an edge against other ninjas.
She fought in a way, that was not seen since Sakuya, so her teammates had trouble to counter it. Even Kakashi had struggled in the beginning, but the Hatake wasn’t a protege for nothing. He was the only one who could give her a fight.
However, Kohana missed the Hidden Blade.
She already lived out the Credo of the Assassin Brotherhood, yet without Hidden Blade she couldn’t call herself assassin.
Kunai could only work so much. They didn’t feel right when she tried out her assassination techniques.
No, she needed Sakuya Hidden Blade.
If she only could find it in one of these chests.
And if only her stupid older brother would leave her alone!
Kohana continued to rummage through the chests, hoping to find the Hidden Blade that her ancestor had left for her.
She couldn't shake off the feeling that it was somewhere in their basement, hidden away from prying eyes.
As she opened another chest, she saw a glint of metal and her heart skipped a beat.
Could it be?
Carefully lifting out the object, she gasped in awe as she held the Hidden Blade in her hands.
It was bigger than she imagined built in an arm-guard with intricate designs.
She recognized the Assassin's Brotherhood Symbol, which Sakuya had drawn in her dairy’s on it.
The green-haired girl felt a surge of excitement course through her veins as she examined it closely.
This was it!
The prized possession of the Assassin Brotherhood.
Kizashi watched as his little sister's face lit up with joy and couldn't help but wonder what was so special about this strange weapon.
For sure he never saw anything like that, for what was this thing good for?
Kohana felt Kizashi's eyes on her but ignored it and put the arm guard on her right arm.
She tried to make the Blade flip out like she had read in the diary, but sadly nothing happened.
“What?!”, she exclaimed surprised.
“Seems like your new toy is broken.”, guessed her brother. “You need to fix it.”
“Just awesome!”, grumbled Kohana. “Of course, it’s broken, I have to find the schematics for it now.”
“And a smith who understands this strange weapon.”, reminds her brother gleefully.
For that, Kohana trowed an old pillow in his face.
Her brother just let himself get hit.
Not like the pillow could hurt him.
Meanwhile, Kohana sighed in frustration.
Finding a smith who could fix the Hidden Blade was going to be a challenge. She didn't know anyone in the village who had experience with such an intricate weapon. However, she wasn't going to give up that easily.
She was determined to make it work, no matter what it took.
As she continued to search through the chests, her mind raced with possibilities of where she could find a smith.
Perhaps she could ask Minato-Sensei for help.
Kizashi watched as his sister's determination grew stronger and couldn't help but feel proud of her. He may not understand the importance of the Hidden Blade, yet he knew how much it meant to Kohana.
"Imoto-Chan," he said softly, "I'll help you find a smith. We'll figure this out together."
Surprised Kohana looked at him and smiled gratefully.
“Thanks Nii-Chan.”
***
Well, Kohana had found the schematics but every smith Kizashi and her visit were totally clueless.
Just awesome.
“This is the only one remaining.”, she groaned at Kizashi.
The smith stall belonged to Aito Takamaru. He was known in Konoha for his excellent weapons, the only problem was that he was really young.
It seemed impossible that he would understand the Hidden Blade.
Kizashi patted her head.
“Now, now, Ko-Chan, let’s ask and see. If I remember right the Aito’s been a smith family since the Warring States Era. If he doesn’t can help, maybe his father or grandfather.”
Kohana reluctantly followed Kizashi to Aito Takamaru's stall.
As they approached, she noticed that the young man was busy working on a Katana. He looked up as they approached and greeted them with a smile.
"Hello there! How can I help you today?"
Kizashi stepped forward and explained their dilemma to Aito-San.
The young smith listened carefully and nodded thoughtfully as he examined the Hidden Blade.
"This is quite an interesting piece," he said, "I've never seen anything like it before."
Kohana felt her heart sink. She had been hoping that Aito-San would be able to fix it, but now it seemed like all hope was lost.
However, much to her surprise, Aito-San continued speaking.
"But I think I might be able to figure it out," he said with a grin. "My grandfather told me often the story of how he made a special blade for a Miko named Haruno Sakuya. I bet it's this one, right?”
“Yeah, it is. Haruno Sakuya is our ancestor.”, told Kohana with hope in her heart.
Aito-San nodded.
“Good thing you have the schematics too. I think with what my grandfather told me and these, I will be successful in repairing the Hidden Blade.”
Kohana couldn't believe her ears.
Was this really happening? Could Aito-San really fix the Hidden Blade?
She watched in amazement as the young smith got to work, meticulously examining each part of the arm guard and studying the schematics that Kohana had brought with her.
For hours he worked on the blade.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Aito-San stood up and held out the Hidden Blade to Kohana.
"It's done," he said with a smile.
The glass-wearing girl took the arm-guard from him and examined it closely.
Sure enough, when she flicked her wrist just right, the blade sprang out from its hiding place with a satisfying snap.
"Thank you so much!" she exclaimed excitedly. "I don't know what I would have done without your help."
Aito-San just smiled modestly in response.
"It was my pleasure.”
As Kohana left the stall with Kizashi by her side, she couldn't help but feel grateful for this new ally that she had found in Aito Takamaru.
With his help, she knew that nothing could stand in her way!
***
“Alright, kids, who want to spar today first?”, asked Minato-Sensei the next day his four Genin.
After a good morning workout, it was now time for it.
Eagerly Kohana raised her hand.
“I would like to, Minato-Sensei.”
She so wanted to try out her Hidden Blade!
“Good, Kakashi-Kun, are up to spar with Kohana-Chan?”
The Hatake just gave a nod.
“Yeah, kick his ass, Kohana-Chan!”, rooted Obito for her, which made the girl blush a little.
Sweet Rin gave them both a smile: “Do your best Kohana-Chan and Kakashi-Kun.”
“Aww, Rin-Chan, why do have to be on his side too?”
She just giggled.
Kakashi and Kohana stood before each other, waiting for Minato-Sensei to go.
Minato-Sensei gave the signal and Kohana immediately went on the offensive, her Hidden Blade at the ready.
Kakashi was quick to dodge her attacks, yet he couldn't help but be impressed by her skill with the strange weapon.
She moved with a grace and fluidity that he had never seen before.
As they continued to spar, Kohana began to incorporate more of Sakuya's assassination techniques into her fighting style.
Her movements became even more unpredictable, making it difficult for Kakashi to keep up.
Obito was cheering loudly for her and even Rin clapped her hands.
“Yes you rock, Kohana-Chan!”, shouted Obito.
However, just as Kohana thought she had the upper hand, Kakashi suddenly disappeared from view.
She looked around frantically, trying to find him, yet he was nowhere in sight.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her back and realized too late that Kakashi attacked one of the weak spots of her body.
She fell to the ground with a thud, feeling defeated.
And she had been doing so well!
Kakashi walked over to her with an outstretched hand and helped her up.
"Good job," he said calmly.
The green-haired girl smiled back at him, feeling proud of herself for holding her own against one of Konoha's most talented ninjas.
They made the Seal of Reconciliation.
“Good spar you two.”, congratulated them Minato-Sensei. “Kohana you really improved and this new weapon of yours is amazing. Kakashi as always impressive. Now Obito and Rin you spar and the winner of that spar goes against Kakashi.”
Obito won the spar against Rin and so the two boys fought against each other.
Of course, Kakashi won, but Obito had given him a good fight too.
Then Minato-Sensei told Kohana and Rin that they should spar against each other.
Ready to spar, the two females faced each other.
Kohana flipped her Hidden Blade in and out, eager to test it out once again.
They circled each other warily, both waiting for the other to make the first move.
Finally, Rin lunged forward, aiming a punch at Kohana's face.
The green-haired girl easily dodged it and countered with a swift kick to Rin's stomach.  She stumbled back, but quickly regained her footing and launched another attack.
The two girls traded blows back and forth, neither one gaining the upper hand for long. Kohana was impressed by Rin's speed and agility, but she knew that she had something that Rin didn't - the Hidden Blade.
As they continued to spar, Kohana began to incorporate Sakuya's assassination techniques into her fighting style once again.
She moved in quick bursts of speed, striking at Rin from unexpected angles with her weapon. The brunette struggled to keep up with her movements, then there was finally an opening.
With elegance, Kohana flipped herself over Rin, pierced her Hidden Blade into Rin's shirt and could flick her opponent like this away from her.
Rin fell down and Kohana was over her, Hidden Blade at her pulse.
“Kohana, wins!”, called Minato-Sensei over.
Kohana was panting  as she lowered her weapon and smiled at Rin: “You did great!”
Her best friend smiled back at her: “So did you! That Hidden Blade is amazing.”
Kohana felt a surge of pride as she looked down at the arm-guard: “Thanks! Aito-San helped me repair it.”
The green-haired girl helped her brunette friend up and they made the Seal of Reconciliation.
Minato-Sensei came over to them: “I'm really impressed with your progress lately, Kohana-Chan.”
“Thank you Sensei,” replied Kohana gratefully. “I couldn't have done it without your training.”
“Now, who is ready for a D-Rank Mission?”
Three groans could be heard.
***
After the  D-Rank mission, they had to walk the Inuzuka Ninken, Minato-Sensei called it a day.
Kakashi left with a lazy wave, while Rin said she had to help her parents in their shop.
That left Obito and Kohana.
Alone.
If she hadn’t taken this chance to spend some time with her crush, Kohana would never have progressed in their relationship.
“Hey, do you want to hang out for a bit?”, she asked him.
Obito's face lit up with excitement: “Sure! What do you want to do?”
Kohana thought for a moment before replying: “How about we go get some ice cream at the new shop that just opened up?”
“Sounds great!”
As they walked towards the ice cream shop, Kohana couldn't help but feel nervous.
This was the first time that she had hung out alone with Obito since becoming a Genin. She wasn't sure what to say or how to act around him.
Thankfully, Obito seemed oblivious to her nervousness and was busy chatting away about his latest manga. Kohana listened intently, she read the series too.
That was something they had in common.
They discussed plot points and why this character sucked and another was just amazing as they arrived at the ice cream shop.
Kohana ordered a chocolate milkshake while Obito got a strawberry sundae.
They sat down at one of the tables outside and enjoyed their treats in comfortable silence.
After finishing their desserts, they decided to take a walk around the village. As they strolled through the streets, Obito and her talked about the sparring matches today.
The Uchiha was giddy that she gave Kakashi a run for his money, even if she lost in the end.
“Maybe that will show stupid Bakashi, that we all can be amazing ninjas!”, he told her.
“You really hate Hatake-San, mmh?”
“Hate is a strong word. I mean he goes on my nerves, but I don’t hate him. I just hate his I’m-better-then-anyone-spiel he has going on!”
With that Obito frustrated kicked a stone away.
The Haruno bit her lip. She had a feeling, no she was sure that Obito hated also Kakashi because Rin was in love with the protege.
It was so sad, Kohana liked Obito, Obito liked Rin, Rin liked Kakashi and Kakashi didn’t seem to have a crush on anyone.
No one was a winner here.
Only if someone got new feelings for another and they liked them back.
How Kohana wished she could make Obito fall in love with her, but sadly Obito was too fixed on Rin.
What could she do to impress him so that he saw her finally?
Kicking Kakashi's ass maybe?
Obito seemed to like it when Kohana gave Kakashi a challenge, but maybe anyone who gave his rival a challenge was cool in the Uchiha's eyes.
As they continued their walk, Kohana couldn't help but feel a bit down.
She had hoped that this outing would bring her and Obito closer together, however, if your name wasn’t Rin Nohara you weren’t even a girl in Obito's eyes.
Sighed inwardly she tried to push those thoughts aside.
Maybe she could just be happy with being friends with Obito for now.
However as they turned a corner, something caught her eye.
It was a small flower shop that she had never noticed before.
Curious, she tugged on Obito's sleeve and pointed at the shop.
"Hey, do you want to take a look in there?"
Obito looked sceptical at first, but then shrugged his shoulders: "Why not?"
As they entered the shop, Kohana was immediately hit by the sweet scent of flowers.
The walls were lined with vases of all different colours and shapes, each one filled with beautiful blossoms.
Kohana felt herself relaxing as she took in the tranquil atmosphere of the shop.
Even Obito seemed to be enjoying himself as he examined some of the more exotic blooms.
Suddenly, Kohana spotted a small pot of delicate blue flowers tucked away in a corner of the shop.
Forget-me-nots.
Her Kaa-Chan had taught her the Flower Langue, if she remembered right Forget-me-not meant True love.
She gulped.
Well if she couldn’t say with words what she felt, maybe the flower would do.
Kohana walked over to the pot of Forget-me-not’s and picked one.
Turning to Obito, who was still examining the other flowers, she said softly: "Hey, Obito. Do you know what these flowers mean?"
Obito shook his head: "No, what do they mean?"
Kohana took a deep breath before answering: "They mean true love."
She handed him the flower and looked into his beautiful black eyes.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Obito smiled at her: "I didn't know that."
The girl felt her heart swell with hope.
Maybe this was a sign that Obito would finally see her as more than just a friend.
The hope was crushed not a second later as the boy curiously pointed at yellow flowers.
“What do they mean?”
Kohana felt like crying.
“These are Primroses...they mean Desperate.”
That had to be a cruel joke of faith!
Obito pouted and tucked the Forget-me-no behind his ear.
“Aww, I like the Forget-me-no more. Hey, do you think I should buy some for Rin?”
The girl felt a pang of disappointment at Obito's suggestion.
Of course, he would want to give the Forget-me-nots to Rin, the girl he had a crush on. She forced a smile and nodded her head, trying to hide her true feelings.
"Sure, that's a great idea."
As they left the flower shop, Kohana couldn't help but feel like she was stuck in a never-ending cycle of unrequited love.
But she refused to give up hope.
Maybe one day Obito would see her as more than just a friend.
Until then, she would continue to cherish their friendship and hold onto the small moments like this one where she felt like maybe, just maybe, there was something more between them.

#Imoto sae ireba how to
#Imoto sae ireba full
It’s goofy, pervy side makes the show all the more relatable alongside the dramatic points as it gives us an honest look at creative types, allowing us to see them handle both serious moments and whatever devious thoughts came to mind. was nothing short of a fascinating gem that deserves any praise or accolade it gathers for being able to balance shameless fanservice with heartfelt dive into the world of the light novel industry. If you gave it a chance, you’d find that Imouto sae Ireba Ii. This is definitely a show that would benefit from another season to see how Itsuki’s anime adaptation ends up, where Miyako’s future as a potential editor goes, whether Nayu and Itsuki will be together, and whether Chihiro will finally let Itsuki know who she is. The side characters were fun to see, but were also put on the back-burner in favor of the major players in the plot. There’s also the instance of Chihiro, who doesn’t get enough development or insight to have us see her as anyone other than the little sister that may or may not have something for Itsuki, and is grappling with whether to tell him or not. The logistics behind a jail located in the basement of a publishing company’s HQ did push the suspension of disbelief, and the reasoning behind turning Setsuna into a molester did nothing to benefit his character or offer the audience the fanservice it thought it provided in that scene. It wasn’t 100% perfect as there were some times where the show’s silliness worked against the story.
#Imoto sae ireba how to
It knew how to hit you right in the gut, and then follow up by helping you up and easing you into a goofy romp through an improvisional TRPG episode. The anime was also a man of culture as well with its obsession with beer and tabletop games that gave it a sense of personality and fun. Miyako was a particularly impressive character as she is one of the only people uninvolved with the industry that is made to feel like a fully developed character while she tosses back the insecurities of unrequited love and a hazy, uncertain future. Haruto’s fall from grace shows a much less forgiving side to the light novel business, yet gives him enough hope to encourage him to bounce back eventually once talk of his failed anime adaptation and the lingering feelings of rejection fade with time. Itsuki’s imouto fascination is given enough insight not to feel like it was placed there to give us imoutos, and Nayu’s pervy demeanor isn’t just a blatant ploy for fanservice, and serves to give us a feel for who Nayu is in her pursuit of Itsuki and writing prestige by her own terms. It’s a rare example where the outrageous humor does a lot to flesh out the characters because it gives us a look into what makes them happy or excited.
#Imoto sae ireba full
What Imouto sae accomplishes with flying colors is making the cast feel human, giving us full depth into their insecurities, sorrow, joy, and lust. On the contrary, it has shown far more love for its cast of imaginative writers than even the most straight-laced drama series. The first two minutes of the show set the tone for the level of bombast that the anime has in its crass, lewd sense of humor, but it does not define the tone of the story itself. has been an imaginative thrill-ride into the inner workings of the light novelist profession. Although the ending sequence leaves us at a comfortable note with the characters hinting at what their next steps will be, Miyako’s will be the most enthralling development as she transitions her way into the LN industry as an editor. It was funny to see how much it hit close to home with the players reflecting back on how much of a pain the process of amassing fans, dealing with editors and unruly fans, and, unfortunately for Haruto, having an awful anime adaptation. In the present day, they played around with the motivations and events that happen within the writers’ lives with a tabletop game based on the novel industry. To Itsuki, being a meager footnote in someone else’s story is as painful as rejection. While Itsuki’s bout with unrequited love was years in the past, it was a solidifying factor in why he is adverse to wanting to be in the reverse role of being a little brother or getting the boot as barely even a background character. Additionally, it fleshes us an explanation for why he’s too invested in wanting to be a protagonist with the heartbreak he felt from his babysitter’s daughter, who rejected him after spending so much time hanging out with him. The first half helps explain why Itsuki is as obsessed with little sisters as he ended up being, considering that light novels served as an escape from his tumultuous home life, and a parallel between his and Nayu’s inspirations for diving into light novels. In an interesting twist, the finale placed more emphasis on transitioning into the end stage rather than send us off with comical fanservice.
