i really want to play animal crossing again but the thing is that new horizons kinda sucks but new leaf feels so so outdated. they both just kinda feel like a chore to play in various ways (yes i know the brunt of anicross gameplay is literally chores. you know what i mean)

nintendo should take a page from cult of the lamb and make an update that adds-- *i am pulled off stage*

i think what gets me so bad is that nintendo knows that people will see anicross or pkmn slapped on a product and buy it just by name association alone.... like theres no need for them to put out good games because these series have already made names for themselves & garnered a fanbase via their previous (good) entries. why actually put on a good show when an audience is guaranteed either way. does this make sense i feel insane

exaclty what i was saying in that post the other day yeah. not that this relates to the p3f debate...but yes they have learned that their IPs are what matter, not the actual games :pensive:

this can relate to atlus, or to any company these days putting out rereleases and remakes. why risk anything with something new when you can put out something you already know people will like? its an easy way to please shareholders and get constant growth
