Recently, I realized how full of hate us as human beings are. In this generation, we constantly attack people online if they are something that isn't the "norm". Sure, we've gotten more accepting. But I can't talk about emojipronouns and nounpronouns without being embarrassed because of my worry about people's opinions. Yes, I know it might sound weird at first if you aren't used to the concept. But I want you to try, at the very least, to learn about it, rather than thinking that I'm an idiot. Why are we so hateful that we have to deem those who aren't hurting us fools? Yes, of course there are places we have to draw the lines. P*dos, b*ast*ality, all of that shit. But that doesn't mean that all of the non-mainstream genders, sexualities and romantic attractions are wrong.

While talking to people, I've mentioned something about fictosexuality before. And they just look at me like I'm a dumbass. It's a real thing, but why can't you at least hide the disgust you're looking at me with?

Not all self-diagnosed people are faking it. Of course there are maybe a few doing so, but that doesn't mean you need to attack everyone who decides to. They're not hurting anyone.

Not all furries are attracted to animals. Why do you have to slander someone for their interests just because of a small percentage of their community does a terrible thing?

Some of the sexualities claimed to be disrespectful just happen to fall under different terms. A while ago, there was "animesexual" and "mangasexual". Those are incorrectly labeled, and would be known as fictosexuality, the term I mentioned before.

There's no harm in not knowing these terms, or being confused about them. But you should try your best to be respectful. If someone isn't hurting anyone, then what need do we have to send hate to them?

- mogai stands for ‘marginalized orientations, genders, alignments, and intersex’! it’s basically a version of the lgbtq+ acronym that encompasses everything that isn’t cisgender, heterosexual, heteromantic, and perisex, so anyone who isn’t those things is welcome to call themselves mogai!!

- the entire goal of the mogai community is to be inclusive of everyone who feels alienated by cishet society! that includes anyone who is questioning, aspec, mspec, etc.

- many mogai terms can also be referred to as ‘microlabels’ or ‘neolabels’ - they’re more specific, newer labels for experiences!

- mogai genders generally fall under the nonbinary umbrella! there are subcategories - some popular ones are xenogenders (genders that are related to non-gender things, such as space or animals), neurogenders (genders that are experienced by people with certain mental conditions), plurigenders/multigenders (having two or more genders at once), and fluid genders (fluid between two or more genders)!

- mogai orientation labels are often either aspec or more specific labels that often fall under the bi/ply/multi umbrella! many of the latter were coined so that the person’s gender(s) as well as the gender(s) they are attracted to can be specified - for example, opalian means a nonbinary man attracted to nonbinary people and men! there are also things like neurorientations, which are affected by mental conditions!

- this isn’t necessarily mogai, but it’s increasingly popular among people who use the mogai label - neopronouns! these are newer pronouns that aren’t she/her, he/him, they/them, or it/its. there’s neopronouns that are completely new words, nounself pronouns that are based on certain words, and emojipronouns that use emojis!

- you are always welcome to coin new labels for yourself!! make words for your experiences, make flags that fit them, create new pronouns to use, whatever you want!! just have fun discovering yourself and finding words for your experiences and making yourself comfortable in your own skin
