Our first Hedgehog. Has this funky yellow patina and missing a fair few teeth.
Hedgehogs have some seriously weird dentistry and a weird diet to boot. They almost look like little vampires with the two front teeth.

pet death cw but like
Ivebeen tempted to dig up my chicken’s bones on occasion but I have NEVER been so tempted to dig up a pet’s bones than with my cat. I don’t want to think about one day having to actually be away from (what’s left of) him so just being able to have his skull or something would be comforting

A quick Kaprosuchus before work
Kaprosuchus is an extinct crocodyliform known from a single skull. Its name means “boar crocodile” due to the three sets of tusk-like caniform teeth.

I sometimes forget that I just casually have skulls and bones sitting on my dresser because they’re hidden behind lotion and shit. But now they are moved for full skeleton display time

SCP time babey
Item #: SCP-XXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX-1 is to be kept in a standard locker at site 16. Accessing and testing the SCP-XXX-1 is to be approved by lvl-2 or higher authorization. Remnants of SCP-XXX-3 are to be destroyed.
Description: SCP-XXX-1 is a skull of a domestic cat. By the teeth and bone structure, its determined that the cat was 9 months old before its passing. Though the lower jaw is completely missing. The item itself has no anomalous properties but certain conditions can make SCP-XXX-2 or SCP-XXX-3.
When placed on fertile soil, earth around SCP-XXX-1 will start to sprout plants of the family Cactaceae commonly found in modern-day households. From sprouting to 10cm in size typically takes about a day with the skull-to-soil contact. If the skull is removed, cacti will grow at a pace typical for the genus. Designated as SCP-XXX-2, produced cacti after removing the skull loose all anomalous properties and are safe to keep and maintain like a normal houseplant.
SCP-XXX-3 manifests when coming into close contact with a headless corpse of the skull's species. The skull will then connect with the corpse through unknown means and reanimate. SCP-XXX3's behavior is typical to that of a juvenile cat, playful and very friendly to the staff and will often vocalize. Its very mobile no matter in what state was the previous cat in, although with the mild stiffness in bodies of older cats. Despite the obvious lack of sensory organs, SCP-XXX-3 is fully capable of smell, sight, hearing and touch.
During its active time, SCP-XXX-3 doesn't feel a need to eat, drink or to relieve itself and the borrowed body will mummify at a slow pace. Once the body has fully mummified, SCP-XXX-3 will turn back into SCP-XXX-1 and detach from the corpse. If the corpse is too decayed, too damaged, too young or mummified, SCP-XXX-1 will show no interest in connecting.
TL:DR: Free cacti
