You we're number #685, the first ever successful experiment to his project all had failed and didn't live up to his standards.

Scientist will naturally have favoritism towards you and treat you better than the others, unlike the other experiments who had habitats that suit those of an animals needs, you were given a large room with enough space for you in your monster form, a large best of blankets are in the room and he's gathered a few stuffed animals for you that you keep in your room, tucked underneath the blankets.

Yandere! Scientist who obviously uses his authority to get away with what he wants, like being able to be with you for long amounts of time(Staff are only allowed to be with experiments for 30 minutes tops to ensure safety) and feeding you well cooked meals.

Yandere! Scientist who is obviously signing up to becoming a volunteer to being your mate and seeing if you're able to reproduce offspring that are just like you.

All just for scientific purposes of course! ♥︎

Very long post ahead:

(First of all, appreciation for Iñaki's awesome acting, knowing exactly how to look intense, eerie and God-like through the whole Live Action. And look how the hat makes a perfect Halo or Sun around his head...)

This will probably be a little over the place, but bare with my silly brain.

At first this scene can just look like he reinforcing his own dream and regaining confidence after all the doubt Buggy has tried to inflict on him, and it probably also is that! But with the intense expression, the music and the wording... I think it's also a message to readers that are up to date.

Nowadays we know that the Gum-Gum is just a name used to hide the real name of Luffy's fruit: the Mythical Zoan Human-Human Model: Nika (Sun God)

The World Government has since its origins (after the Void Century, 800 years ago) tried to control this Fruit, and Vegapunk states that there's no mention to this "Gum-Gum" Fruit anywhere previous to that, so this new name is just a way of the Government to hide the importance of the Fruit and make it as unappealing as possible.

Who would want to be rubber, anyway? Anyone who hears about it thinks it's a silly power and wouldn't want to eat it.

But here's the thing: it doesn't matter that the new Devil Fruit Guides or Encyclopedias have no information about a Fruit.

If we go way back to Enies Lobby, we get to see this explanation by Lucci (another Zoan fruit user): you learn the name of the Fruit when you gain its power.

Lucci specifically states that the Fruit itself will reveal its powers and name to you once you've eaten it and gained its power. Luffy gained his power long time ago, when he was a child, and his goal started changing as soon as manifested his powers.

He went from: "Take me with you on your next Voyage!!"

(Chapter 1, Romance Dawn Arc) To: "I've decided to become a Pirate on my own!" after eating the Fruit.

At first he was just content with being a Pirate in a crew, but suddenly he has a definitive goal: being the King of the Pirates (to achieve something else).

In the first chapter it is also shown how his personality changes:

Luffy was a very sad and angry 7 year old, who wanted to desperately escape from his horrible life (loneliness and abusive Grandpa). He only smiled when people were nice to him, or when he was listening to pirate stories.

It is not until after he eats the Devil Fruit that he starts to smile and laugh on his own, looking at the bright side of things even if he gets teased.

It seems clear that the fruit changed something in him that was way more than just his body, but in the manga one doesn't think much of it until you read the Five Elder's description of his fruit (ch 1044) and remember Lucci's explanation (ch 385).

If the Fruit communicated its real name and abilities to him, he should know exactly who and what he is.

One could argue that he specifically states he is not a Zoan in Punk Hazard while talking to Momo:

But maybe he doesn't consider his fruit as a Zoan, as he doesn't really turn into an animal. (Zoan comes from the Ancient Greek and means "animal" or "beast"). Luffy's Fruit enters the same category as Sengoku's: a Human-Human Fruit.

Gear 5 is Luffy's awakened form, one that he couldn't use before because his body and mind were not ready to catch up to his powers. But that doesn't mean he didn't know about it's existence.

In this form, Luffy manipulates his surroundings giving everything he touches the properties of rubber, just like the awakening of Don Flamingo. But is it just that?

I believe we have been seeing him manipulate reality since the very beginning of the series, inadvertently thinking it was just typical main character things. Yes, everything usually goes how he says in the end, just typical in a MC... But is it? Or is it an intelligent way of covering his real powers behind the typical shonen clichés?

There's so many instances where Luffy and his powers feed directly from people's hopes and prayers (just to name a few: Skypea, Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, FishMan Island, Dressrosa, Wano...), and all he asks is for people to have faith in him.

When people have faith in him, reality changes in his favour.

(Even with Ace's Execution, the one instance where Luffy failed... he actually achieved what he said he would: to free Ace from the Marines. Ace was killed not because Luffy couldn't save him, but because he stopped running away.)

Going back to OPLA: this is Oda's opportunity to explain things in a different way and medium, to hint to things that are very far away (like how they showed that Garp is Luffy's grandpa so soon in the series, because it made it more interesting sooner).

Then we have the scene were Luffy wishes for Zoro to be by his side, and to wake up.

I can't stop thinking about how... intense this scene is. How they wrap it with eerie music, so you know something special is happening.

We are in front of a Miracle.

(One Piece Live Action, Episode 6: The Chef and the Chore boy)

Luffy closes his eyes, concentrates and makes a wish. Or not even a wish, he just states that he needs Zoro (to fulfill his dreams).

Luffy manipulates reality a bit, even in this early stage of his power (Gear 1) and, seeing how he phrases everything he wants, he seems to know it. (for example, the way he always says "I will" instead of "I want to")

In OPLA it seems clear that Zoro was not going to wake up from Mihawk's attack, no matter how strong and resistant he is. Even if Mihawk said it wasn't his time to die... He would probably not make it without external help.

Luffy doesn't really know what to say, for a while. He is shocked and shaken in his beliefs, as he thought believing in Zoro would already make him the greatest... but instead his friend got badly hurt. With that and everything that's been said around him, he is losing faith in himself.

But eventually he understands that he needs to express how much he needs Zoro out loud. Why would that be, if he wasn't conscious that his needs and desires get usually fulfilled, even more if they serve his goal?

He concentrates and says "I need you, Zoro", and nothing changes. Why? Well, Zoro is there. His body is there and he is alive, even if just barely. It's not like he has really gone anywhere. Then Luffy, seeing that it didn't work, reformulates his way of saying what he needs: "I need you to wake up".

And then the Miracle happens: Zoro starts really recovering and immediately wakes up. He then makes the vow of never leaving Luffy's side until they reach his objective, fulfilling his needs.

This is not Zoro being awake and just teasing him, or him just waking up to the voice of his Captain. No.

This is a Miracle. This is Luffy consciously using his God-like powers and his destiny to get Zoro back from the dead.

And that's why Zoro can never die. Even in Wano we get a look at that:

He was supposed to die, but Death couldn't finish the job. Something is protecting Zoro from Death, and it's probably how Luffy has tied Zoro to his own destiny.

Bumps and Kisses - Woo Dohwan Imagine

You and Dohwan were bustling around your tiny and cramped kitchen trying to place all your appliances and plates in boxes for your upcoming move. After spending more than three years in your quaint apartment, you finally move out to a slightly larger yet much more affordable place.

“Do you want separate boxes for the glasses and mugs?” Dohwan asked as he grabbed the four mugs you owned from the cupboard. “I think there’s a few small enough so they won’t move around a lot when they’re in the car.”

You turned around ready to check the box when your face bumped into his, not realizing just how close he was to you. The little room between the two of you caused you to wobble a bit and lean forward to maintain your balance, your lips pressing against his. Both of your eyes widened before you tried stepping back nearly falling due to the table directly behind you.

You could feel your cheeks flush as you processed what happened. Dohwan was equally as flustered looking anywhere but you. The two of you had only been dating officially for a little over a month yet the first kiss hadn’t happened. There were moments where you were almost certain it would happen but then the two of you would be interrupted by either another human or your cat - who seemed to take it personally whenever he wasn’t the object of your affections.

“I should’ve checked my surroundings,” you muttered not looking him in the eye. “I’m so sorry if that - just - let’s pretend it didn’t happen.”

You went to turn around when Dohwan’s now empty hands stopped you. The mugs were resting on the edge of that table beside - you noted that so as to not break them.

“What if I don’t want to pretend it didn’t happen?” he asked momentarily. “What I want to remember it and keep kissing you?”

Your mind went blank. If this were a drama you were sure the camera would be zooming into your widening eyes and the viewers would be squealing into their pillows kicking their legs frantically at the straightforwardness of the male lead’s - in this case, Dohwan’s - words.

“What if I want to kiss you again?”

“Huh?”

Immediately you kicked yourself in the butt for having responded as you had. What the heck was wrong with you?

“I want to kiss you again,” Dohwan repeated, his voice no longer the same soft tone he had been using earlier. It was stronger, firmer, holding a conviction he meant and wasn’t going to back down from. “I want to kiss you. Can I kiss you?”

You were certain you looked like a fish out of water opening and closing your mouth as you struggled to speak and form words before giving up and just nodding hoping it would be enough to get your response across.

And it did.

Dohwan’s hands cradled your jaw as his lips pressed softly against yours molding perfecting with your own as they opened. The pleasant warmth that enveloped you as your hands rose from your sides, resting on his chest as you relaxed, lips moving fluidly against his was something you never wanted to end. Alas someone had other thoughts regarding the intimate event occurring in his house. You heard a rather vicious hiss from the entrance to the kitchen and pulled away just as your cat began charging at Dohwan’s exposed ankle managing to land a small bite before you picked him up and began scolding him.

“No biting my boyfriend,” you chastised. “I mean it or your bed privileges will be revoked.”

Dohwan laughed lightly reaching out and managing to pet the fluffy animal without getting mauled, “I don’t blame him for getting angry. If I were him and you were kissing someone else I’d be pretty territorial.”

“You won’t have to worry about that,” you said setting the animal in question down and watching as he went to a corner of the kitchen and sat down watching the two of you. “I don’t plan on kissing anyone that isn’t you anytime soon.”

He doesn't let any gangs runs their trouble on his turf. Until one day, a Hale is shot by an Argent right outside his doors. Sterek SuperBat ComicCon MeetCute: WIP One Shot - 1,049 Inspired by MultiE's art. nerd x nerd solidarity Sciles Ancient Greece AU: 192 - this is a friggin poem and is probably gonna stay a poem. New! Sex For Work: Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 - 23,228. Part 5? Sterek BDSM CEO x Personal Assistant AU. Originally intended to be kinky prompt fill series but Caught Plot. I meant to rewrite it last month to convert it into a standalone story, but uhhhh didn't. I DID do reformatting though. I just need to get writing on it again, but i tend to be kinda singleminded.

Maybe it'll be Danny x Conner because himbo tee shirt conner is my baby boy baby boy Not So Blushing, Not So Virgin: 40 - SuperBat role reversal where everyone expects clark to be this sweet inexperienced things and then he absolutely blows bruce's back out.

Hiatus Projects:

Universal Law of Gravitation: Chapter 1 WIP, significant outline - 3,080 - Sterek Lifetime fic. I wrote out this huge long super comprehensive timeline and got super caught up in it. It's supposed to be about how, despite their best efforts, Stiles and Derek just can't stay apart, so there are a ton of messy breakups and fights in between. I just never put together an actual proper Plot, so when i started writing it, i got SUPER bored. It has a playlist! and i made a bunch of pseudo-science chapter titles hehe A Fever You Can't Sweat Out: Chapter 1 posted, Chapter 2 WIP, significant outline - 9,911 - Sterek, Marrish, Scallison, post-canon AU, surprise mpreg! Similarly to ULG, i wrote out a huge big timeline and outline and got super nitty gritty into the details, but literally Chapter One i went Off Track and it just killed my motivation. It's HUGELY ensemble, and i picked out jobs and hobbies for like 12 people to all live in a big ol estate together. It also suffered from "world building but no plot", but i DID try to make a plot, it just. wasn't good haha. The entire concept is, Lydia gets pregnant which makes Allison baby crazy so she gets pregnant and Stiles wants a baby so, so bad, but he's dating dating/married to Derek and therefore would have to adopt or something, but he wants it so bad he magics himself up a contraception.

The servant girl stepped out of the house, biting her lip to hold back nervous tears. Mistress was furious. She wouldn’t wait for the man, she had said to her girl. She needed to feed these guests, and feed them now.

The sky lightened over the olive trees in the back garden while the rooster continued to crow. He flailed around the trees, bobbing his head and flapping, daring anyone to cross him. The girl was afraid of him, but not enough to pity him. She feared her mistress’ sandal more than his claws.

She managed to grab the old bird mid-crow, and he flapped angrily but soon settled into his fate. She carried him by his legs over to the usual spot where the man came and slaughtered their chickens. But they couldn’t wait for him today. Or, rather, her mistress wouldn’t wait for him.

She pulled the tie from her hair and trussed his legs, hanging him from the pole suspended between two trees. She pulled a little knife from her apron, hesitating. She’d seen the man do this so many times, waiting for him to be done so she could pluck the wretched things.

The girl grabbed his head, tripping over the words that she half remembered the man uttering, and drew the knife. She dispatched the bird with little effort, and now waited for the blood to drain, just like every time.

She heard a noise of distress. A man stumbled weakly out of the house, pulling at his hair and beard. She recognized him immediately. He was with the one the soldiers took away. He had told the soldier that she was lying. She flushed with fear, shaking her head. But he truly was there! Why would she lie?

The man fell to his knees by an olive tree, grabbing fistfuls of earth. He shook and wept. Earlier that morning he was so sure, he was so taken with the lie that he did not know his friend. That she was the dishonest one. She was powerless against him. Against most things.

She huffed, holding back tears herself. Every day was a new fear. Every day she wished to grow up, but every day she knew that she would instead become smaller. She sniffed, wiping her eyes on her sleeve, and turned back towards the bird to inspect him.

Something had changed.

The pool of blood was a hole. A velvety blackness had replaced the glisten of fresh blood. She saw how the light nearby stretched and softened, as if being sucked into the earth. Terrified, she kicked a little pebble at the shape. It rolled and inexplicably fell, the pool was now a well. How deep, she did not know. Terror dragged at her bones.

We should have waited. We should have waited for him. And now…

The girl swallowed. Behind her, the bearded man in the dirt continued his racking sobs. She inched forward. Some sand from her feet slid into the darkness before her, hissing. She lowered her gaze and looked. Down, down, down into the nothing. Her eyebrows raised. Her face twisted. Her body convulsed like a dying insect.

Her shrieks of pain were drawn into the hole, echoing forever in some unseen chasm, heard by millions of eldritch ears not yet known to man. And her left eye burned.

What do you think will happen to Karin? I hope we get to learn about her abilities!! Do you think hitsukarin should be canon?

Hello! Oops, this became a somewhat lengthy response 😅.

Well, considering how the manga ended with a bunch of plot holes, Karin's potential was just one of them. Gone down the drain. She seemed like a regular girl in the end, despite all the foreshadowing of her becoming something more. Her reiatsu was increasing, needing help from Urahara's products, saying it was her turn to protect her brother, & for what? It went nowhere. There's no further implication of her having any sort of relevancy beyond that. So, I don't think Kubo's gonna do anything with her character at this point (as much as that hurts!). He's given no such hints 😒. Wasted potential 😮‍💨.

With that said, I'd love it if HK became canon, & I do think they had (have!!) quite the potential, but I don't have much hope for it. Karin is grown up & Hitsugaya is still the same (you don't know how disappointed I was when I first saw that in the final chaps). Sure, he could still get a growth spurt (I have the HC that with more training, he'll mature into his true bankai form sooner or later. If I had it my way, I would've had him maturing alongside her growing into her teens—just like how they both reached the pre-teen stage at the same time in canon 👀—and then they meet and—), so technically, they could still happen in that twisted universe dumped into 685-686...

However, in a world where IR isn't canon (or headed there), I can't accept HK happening. I'd be so torn seeing my main OTP being implied while the other was done so dirty. I can't wrap my head around it.

I've said in some of my previous posts that I would've liked a HK spin-off sequel if Bleach had a coherent (preferably IR-implied) ending. They'd be the true next generation of Bleach in my opinion 🤷‍♀️. Destined to meet & all like their predecessors 💞.

But yeah, unfortunately, that's not how things went, & so far, there doesn't seem to be anything on the horizon for those two. I don't want to have hopes that the ending could be fixed in the anime (which I'm not even watching, btw), so sorry I don't have any positive things to say about the future of my Bleach OTP 🥺😓.

The headlines are taken from actual Destiel news memes that I reblogged to my Tumblr in the order I reblogged them to my Tumblr. I’m sure someone’s already done this fic out there somewhere but I didn’t see it on AO3 so I figured why not write it myself. I think the inspiration for this fic likely came from this Tumblr post by biverly-switzler rolling around my subconscious for a few days.

Also as a note, I’ve only seen seasons 1 – 8, the Scooby Doo episode, and portions of season 15 of Supernatural.

Trapped in a Meme

Castiel looked at Dean with the softest saddest expression. Dean’s heart tightened and he dreaded Castiel’s next words. In a seeming blink of the eye, they were no longer in the bunker, but somewhere undefined. It was dark, but there was just enough light to illuminate their faces. This place was not hot or cold. It was not dry or humid. It simply existed and they existed within it.

“I love you,” Castiel said. His voice was gentle. His eyes glistened with sorrow and satisfaction.

Dean’s mind went completely blank. He opened his mouth but he did not know what to say. His chest tightened and then he found words bubbling forth from somewhere that was not his own heart or mind, “Lin Manuel Miranda has been cast as Hermes.”

A long silence passed. Castiel blinked. Dean wrinkled his nose and said, “What the fuck?”

“Did Hermes switch vessels?” Castiel asked.

“How would I know?” Dean would have rubbed his face but he did not seem to have hands.

After a short span of silence, Castiel said, “I love you.” Again, his eyes shone with both sorrow and truth.

Dean’s heart tightened. His mind spun. Then words sprang from his mouth like before, “The Writers Guild of America votes to authorize a strike with a record-setting 97% approval.”

Neither of them spoke for a long moment and then they each tried to speak simultaneously.

“Dean –”

“Cas –”

They paused and when neither spoke, Dean sighed. “Why do you keep saying that?”

“Because it’s how I feel,” Castiel said.

Dean stared at him and licked his lips. Before he could say anything, Castiel spoke again, “I love you.”

All thought left Dean’s mind. His lips moved on their own. “Tucker Carlson has been fired from Fox News.”

Castiel’s eyebrows drew together. “Can foxes get fired from being foxes?”

“He’s a not a fox.” Dean paused. “Do foxes have a news network?”

“Of course they do. All animals do,” Castiel said. “I used to communicate with the bee network years ago.”

Dean considered this a long moment. Then he made a face. “How many times have we done this?”

“I love you,” Castiel said.

“The Winchesters was cancelled after only one season,” Dean said. He blinked and immediately hissed, “What the fuck? Fuck this.”

“I can’t take my clothes off,” Castiel said. “I don’t seem to have any hands.”

“I didn’t literally mean…” Dean’s voice trailed.

“I love you,” Castiel said yet again.

“Donald Trump has been federally indicted by the DOJ and charged with treason,” Dean said. He paused and then added, “Kyle Griffin tweeted, ‘NBC News has now confirmed: Donald Trump has been indicted.’

“This is fucking ridiculous. I’m citing sources now,” Dean groaned. “Also isn’t Paris Hilton president? Or was that a porno?”

“Dean, it’s okay if you don’t ‘return’ my ‘feelings,’” Castiel said, providing air quotes accordingly.

Dean held his gaze and then shook his head. “You know what? This is like an episode of Sailor Moon or something. So, we’ll try that.”

“Try wha –?” Castiel’s expression immediately changed, softening his eyes and returning the smile to his face. “I love you.”

Dean’s heart tightened. He took a deep breath and said with great purpose, “I know.”

Silence stretched between them. Dean said nothing more.

“We’re still glowing faces,” Castiel said. “Did it work?”

“Maybe if we tried another language,” Dean said. “Try Spanish.”

“I didn’t know you spoke Spanish,” Castiel said.

“I’ll manage,” Dean said.

Before Castiel could comment, his face softened once again. This time he said, “Te amo.”

This time the words did not bubble up from somewhere else. After a pause for translation, Dean said, “Yo a ti, Cas.” Dean did not think about why it was easier to say in a language that he learned from his life experiences. There was no time. Reality returned and the Empty appeared. Dean reached for Castiel.

Castiel pushed Dean aside and allowed the Empty to swallow him whole as he said, “Goodbye, Dean.”

Dean shouted after him but it was no use. Castiel disappeared leaving Dean alone.

“Okay, so if you were in Star Trek, one, what era would you be in, and two, what department?” Fanboy asked.

Payback slouched further down the chair, they were in the middle of a movie marathon to celebrate surviving the mission. Last time he got to pick, they’d spent an entire day, closer to two really, watching all the films. They’d even included Deadpool, much to Mickey’s dismay, Reuben counted it, the X-Men Academy was literally featured so was technically an X-Men film in his book.

“Era?”

“Yeah, the 60s original tv show, the films, the Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, the New Films, Disco-”

Reuben held his hands up and laughed, “Okay, okay I get it,” he then pondered for a second. “I’d say Next Gen, I didn’t watch the original show until I met you but I watched that, so nostalgia points, but also all the rest seem too stressful.”

Mickey was almost taken aback by the look on his face but it soon settled out. His familiar grin came back, eyes crinkling on the sides as the apples of his cheeks flushed darker. Somehow he always managed to look happy or impressed.

“What about you?”

“The original show, specifically the second series, or maybe whenever the animated show happens, which is at the end of the mission, and I’d probably be either a weapons officer in the Engineering Division or a Navigator on the bridge.” He took a breath, then turned to him. “What about you?”

His answer wasn’t that complicated, but then again, he wasn’t autistic with a special interest in Star Trek, “Well, I’m a pilot right, so what’s the closest equivalent to that?”

“You said the Next Gen, right?” Reuben nodded at him. “So you’d be a flight officer.”

He tried to go back to the television but Mickey pulled on his arm again. Deciding to pause it, he fully turned to him.

"Lord of the Rings, what would you be?"

"Hobbits eat all day and don't face danger," he nodded smugly to himself. "That would be the life for me."

"You've got the feet to match," Fanboy mumbled.

"What was that?"

Mickey smiled, "Nothing," he paused, then added. "I think I'd be an elf, you know, tall, elegant, knowledgeable-"

"-none of which you are-"

He elbowed him in the ribs. But Reuben recovered quicker than Mickey thought, so he lunged toward him, grabbing him feet first and tickling them.

"No stop!" 

He tried to shake him off, tried to kick him but Reuben had too much of a grip. Tickling was an unknown skill that he'd mastered. He knew every spot to get him to squirm, and did this whenever he couldn’t win a discussion. Like now.

After a moment, he stopped. Mickey lay there panting for a moment. The smile on his face flickered for some reason and slowly sunk as he got his breath back.

Reuben rolled over him and pinned his arms above his head. He kissed his left cheek, then his right, before settling on his nose.

"What's the matter?"

"It's silly,"

"Not if it's got you this sad," 

Mickey took a second, then told him, "It's just that we'd never see each other, in all those other universes, we'd be in different times or be different races and, I wouldn't want that, I love you,"

Reuben had to admit, that was a little silly, but if his Mickey got sad over it, then it wasn't silly at all. 

"We'd find a way back to each other somehow,"

"How, though?"

"Because I hope I find you in every life,"

For what was meant to be a serious moment, it was a bit disheartening to have him laugh in his face.

"That was so corny,"

Reuben laughed and kissed his temple, leading his way down to his lips by laying more on his jaw.

"Well, you know me, I'm as corny as a cob,"

Mickey wrestled his hands free and cupped his face. Their noses grazed each other’s as they almost kissed.

"Yeah, you so are," he said as their lips finally met.

I've gathered a smal group of friends and relatives to help out and we're curentlly working together with Phantom to make the extraction easier, by now we have collected ectoplasm from 685 humans and 23 animals that tried to eat it by accident (luckily we we're able to get the ectoplasm before it got too dangerous to the animals so they are alive and well) and we have been putting all of it back where it belongs (a.k.a the Ghost Zone)

Also to the person that said a biker ghost was giving out ectoplasm in exchange for things for his girlfriend: no need to worry, I already told Phantom abaut it and he said he's gonna have a talk with the ghost

That was all of it for now but I'll try to keep you guys updated when I can
