i think. yj are gentle with greta, when she becomes human again. treat her like she’s frail, because she is, like she’s precious, because she’s that too.

when there’s harsh light, kon slides his sunglasses over her eyes before she can even wince, her eyes are sensitive still, she giggles when they’re too big for her. he says, with a barely there shove, not everyone appreciates style. if they’re out at a restaurant and she’s picking at her food because she ordered something she ended up hating, bart switches their food neatly without even stopping his sentence, and she grins at him gratefully. with cissie, it’s in all the little things, the holding her hand when they’re walking, the little it reminded me of you gifts and souvenirs when they see each other, the nightly calls just to talk and catch up, the arm wrapped around her shoulders like she’s something, someone, treasured and wanted. if she’s cold, and she hates being cold, it reminds her of before, cassie’s jacket swallows her up and cassie tucks her into her side and it feels, for as long as she’s there, the cold and the hurt can’t reach her. greta knows she’s irrational, it’s a petty grudge she let go of long ago and has no right to hold onto still, but tim places a hand on the middle of her back, soothing, places himself in between greta and—she’s his friend, they dated, they love each other, and greta has no right to make this awkward, she’s done nothing wrong—her, and steers her away smoothly, and doesn’t hear any apologies—it’s fine, he says, the others don’t like her either, they’re petty like that, sometimes people don’t get along, it’s okay, you don’t have to—and greta feels less bad. anita, she watches buzzfield unsolved and ghost hunting shows with her, and they make fun of the inaccuracies and speculate on which are real or not (very few of them), and anita always cranks down the volume because she knows they’re loud and greta doesn’t like them loud.

Evil!Young Justice 98: The Juvelines (a concept)

I haven’t exactly read Young Justice 2019 yet, but I always thought the idea of them fighting against their evil counterparts from an alternate dimension was entertaining. I’m thinking of making some redesigns of their evil counterparts but with the YJ98 gang instead.

It would also take place in Earth-3 where the evil Justice League (known as The Crime Syndicate) exists. This version of Young Justice would be called “The Juveniles”. Other names I had in mind was the Young Juveniles, Young Syndicate or Teen Tyranny but for the last one, it felt more in tune with an evil version of the Teen Titans/Titans who in this universe are called “Tyrants”.

Right now I have their alter egos somewhat figured out:

Kon-El = Jon-Lex/Jon Lane Luther (Supremo): I was debating on the name Ultraboy since evil!Superman in Earth-3 was called Ultraman, but I thought Supremo sounded much cooler. Also idk how Kryptonian names work. I didn’t like the name Luther-El from YJ!2019’s version of evil!Kon so I decided to name him after Kon’s New52 counterpart. Apparently New52!Kon was called Jon Lane Kent so I decided to mix the two names together so it wouldn’t confuse with Jon Samuel Kent. I envision Jon-Lex/Supremo with a costume and design similar to New52!Kon, tho I’m debating giving him a mohawk instead of that tame white boy haircut New52!Kon had.

Tim Drake = Tim Jackson (Draken): Basically New52!Tim but more evil and with a dragon themed costume design inspired by his YJ!2019 brown suit but more cooler looking. I was debating on calling him Heron instead since it sounded just as cool (Owlman and Heron vs Batman and Robin) but I wanted something other than a bird themed alias. I was thinking of giving him a spear or a long mace to contrast the bo-staff. ((I’ll save the Heron concept for another time))

Bart Allen = Bar Torr (Instance or Altros): New52!Bart but with inverted color scheme for his suit. (I know I’m getting most of my insp. from New 52) I’m thinking of giving him a blue color scheme so as not to confuse him with Inertia. Also maybe give him ginger/red hair too. I know his alias is silly but out of all the synonyms for Impulse, Instance clicked the most. The alias, Altros, is a close second (named after Altros Prime where Bar Torr in the New 52 came from). My other option was calling him Dasher but that didn’t appeal to me as much and YJ!2019 evil version had the alias Speed Zone which I thought was kinda lame.

Cassie Sandsmark = Cassidy Sandsmark (Amaxon Thunder): I thought YJ!2019’s version of evil Cassie was the most appealing in concept compared to the others. I actually liked the alias Amaxon Thunder though her design looked like just a mini Wonder Woman. I’m thinking of giving her a suit similar to her New52 design but less revealing. For her hair, I’ll either keep it black like the 2019 version or make it dirty blond.

Cissie King-Jones = Suzy Ann Jones (Bowstringer): I’m still brainstorming what this evil!Cissie would look like. I’m thinking of giving her a green color scheme, similar to Artemis’s design in YJA, with a sporty double dutch braid. As for her name, it derives from her first name “Suzanne”. For the alias “Bowstringer” I read that Cissie’s father was nicknamed “Bowstring”. In this dimension, Evil!Cissie’s/Suzy’s father is alive instead of her mother and Suzy takes more after him.

Greta Hayes = Gretel Hayes (Clandestine): I’m thinking of making this version of Greta a demonic, vengeful ghost. Gretel would either have an even paler color scheme with a cooler tint or a darker color scheme that resembles a shadow ghost. I’ll have to use horror movie ghosts references for this design, though I want her to look eerie instead of downright terrifying (idk how I’m gonna achieve that😅)

Anita Fite = Iwana Fite (Imperatrix) I have a vague idea of how I want evil!Anita to look like. I’m thinking of giving her a silver halo crown that obscures her eyes with a royal blue color scheme. The alias “Imperatrix” is a synonym for empress, and Empress vs Imperatrix sounds so badass.

Slobo = ? : Unfortunately, I couldn’t think of an evil version of Slobo. Technically, Slobo is just a mini clone of Lobo who’s an anti hero/villain, so what I was thinking was having Slobo be the one to encounter evil!Young Justice/The Juveniles from a dimension traveling mishap, with Young Justice having to rescue him from their evil selves or smthing like that

These concepts are subject to change once I actually get to drawing them tho.

Anyway take some cute misc headcanons as I try not to vomit :

- kon wearing those dumb ass booty shorts that they tend to sell on boardwalks for some reason (at least the one I’ve gone to all my life) that says something in big white text on the back like “I love my boyfriend” and people suspect oh who could possibly be this hunks boyfriend? An even bigger himbo? And then they see Bart stroll over casually in all his twink ass nature and they hold hands and just continue about their day . Silly but cute in a way. And I absolutely love the idea of those dumb fucking booty shorts with kon rocking them

- in a scenario/au/whatever with bby bart and thad they behave for most people in the flashfam. And for some reason both boys ADORE Linda. Barts sort of neutral about Wally but if they’re being watched by both Wally and Linda Thad will kick and punch and BITE Wally any chance he gets with no remorse. With Linda though? Little angel. Bart won’t hurt Wally but he probably doesn’t really listen to him and it’s just funny to imagine

- uhhh so I don’t have a basis or reasoning for this one but I like to think Jesse (chambers/quick/whatever her current Alias is) is a lesbian. That’s all. No one with an ass that good is straight.

- yj “girls” nights but the boys are also invited and do typically “girly” things like painting their nails, sharing secrets, braiding hair, etc. and also brutal pillow fights with no remorse between the entire team. Cissie Cassie Greta and Anita sleep in like a cute little huddled way meanwhile kon Bart and tim are literally like a ball of various limbs in a weird pretzel way but somehow they’re all comfortable. Slobo….uhhhhh….i don’t actually know but he’s there too

- timkonbart matching bracelets

- Mel taking care of Barts hair : ) . Teaching him what products to use, how to deal with its VOLUME and CURLS. How to do some cute ass styles. I’m a big believer in curly haired Bart okay. I dont know the hair type/hair pattern chart by heart but he probably has loose curls. Not super loose but definitely not straight or even close to straight

- adding onto that kon and Bart doing each others hair and having matching clips/burets/ etc

You joke but this is absolutely something he would do, and probably has done at least once. He's very sneaky and he loves his large, fluffy adopted son a whole lot. (Honestly, he's likely around a lot more than anyone thinks. There are many benefits to being a rogue...for the rogue, of course.)

i wanna think that i should be greatful that i've never seen these fans that glorify the concept of the characters for the sake of glorifying the past because the alternative would be getting angry at how much dc is missing the point of why we miss young justice

giving anita a cane for revelations and forseen future really changed the dynamics and thoughts in regarding of mortujulita, both in present, and in happy (future) ending AU of mine-

for starters, ortega would def try to make amends- she knew she hurt anita, even more than that- she recognized she hurt them by exposing them and breaking their trust. i imagine her seeing anita walks with a limp, guts to the guilt, shame, and 'this shouldn't happened' feelings. and the worst of all? anita is going to be snappy at her further so unless ortega finds a way to regain their trust (and their heart.)

mortum, on other hand... i am active ignoring the puppet situation because right now, anita does want mortum's friendship- because they never feel happy than to be with her, hanging out with her has made them wished they're anita and not aoyun- and now mortum knew who they are. mortum seeing anita with a cane, still not ready to trust but had a urge to reach out and says 'its not your fault' and seeing them flinch back away, cane tightly against their hip- she knew that they knew. anita hurts her, of course they're being. a bit distant, wary, and trying to be respectful to mortum's personal space.

anita being snappy at ortega because she broke their trust while anita being wary and afraid of what mortum will says because they broke her trust is so fun to see and as a player, a lowkey stress to how imma wrangle that situation whEEZES

....and it's so interesting but i think im enjoying this.... early stage of whatever the fuck is this leading to a hopeful mortujulita- i think it's gonna take a lot of talk, trust, and proving yourself, and all of it, villian or hero or whatever, while also glances at a certain [redacted] from revelations' short demo this everything... on... that....?? /lightheart

but also anita would started off hating their cane, but sooner or later, they will embrace it and they will be more confident with it over time- sure their right leg is completely fucked but at least, they have the diginity and being themself- Harbinger- Anita- altogether.
