And Two, The phrase "You should think critically and be able to criticize the things you love" is a valid and true principle that is damn near Sisyphean to put into practice because of the overwhelming endless deluge of internet twits whose idea of "Criticism" is the dumbest shit you've ever heard in your life.

Just this week I was introduced to some Anitwit moron who was complaining about an Age Gap Romance Shoujo Series and decided to use it as a soapbox to promote a Shoujo Series he liked...

...Where the Main Chararcter is in a Shoujo Age Gap Romance.

And when I clowned on him for being a hypocrite instead of acknowledging that he focused on the "My dude these characters are not real it doesn't matter" comment I made and acted smug in the usual Fanpol way.

Like wow dude, you are not slick in the slightest. It's actually fucking astounding how for all their talk of criticism these people are not only the least critically minded they cannot take criticism worth a fuck lmao.

I think I saw that OP... Or maybe it was just one of the many tweets I saw talking about 'UGGGHHH, why is the anime industry so hungry for pedophilia?!?!?' when the trailer for that Age Gap Yakuza/High School Student anime was making the rounds.

what i find extremely peculiar about mob psycho 100 as a whole, aside from being a pretty good comedic manga with an extraordinary anime adaptation, is that it has involuntarily breached containment and non-fans have been exposed to it multiple times, leading to the most out-there situations which ONE could have never predicted, like the recent anitwit polls, or reigen being proclaimed internet sex symbol a couple of years ago or the internet phenomenon that redraw reigen was. and sure, i know that most of them were memes by the fandom and are about reigen because of the bugs bunny rule, that's funny and it's great, but in my personal opinion the most absurd thing that has ever happened, almost to the point that it sounds made up, is eric trump, son of then-us president donald trump, tweeting a conspiracy theory about how the titular character mob (fictional japanese 14-year-old shigeo kageyama) was a left-wing psy-op designed by google to censor pictures of protests and thanks to the memes following this tweet mob became an antifa symbol
