Charlotte was better off with Dante.

I don't know if it's the acting choices or what but Anna is WAY more broken up about this than Valentin. Throw that whole man away...I know that ship has fans, but Anna is better off without him. Charlotte will be better off if he rides off into the sunset as well.

Once again, FH future Emmy nom secured. But yeah, I think the one issue with this story is that it's pretty much impossible to sympathize with Valentin in it. He knew how scared and paranoid Anna was, and he just did nothing. None of the choices he made were out of necessity, he was just being a coward. It was completely irrational and fear-based. In the end, he didn't protect Charlotte, and at bare minimum, he's lost Anna's trust for a long time.
